Chapter 35 The Roasting of Perseus

It's been a month since Katara has peacefully passed away in her sleep due to her illness which allowed her to reunite with her loved ones and her husband once more after so many years without him.

And of course since Katara before she passed revealed Korra to be pregnant much to her joy.

Currently the two were in the south in their room.

Korra slowly began to wake up finding her husband in front of her making her smile as she buried her face into his chest.

"Morning." Sean said kissing her forehead making her giggle.

"Morning." Korra said as Sean traveled down to her stomach and kissed it making her giggle before he came back up and kissed her.

Soon the two were dressed and in the living room at the palace.

"Ok. We've kept them in them out of the loop about this. It's time we tell them about the pregnancy." Korra said.

"I know...But I got an idea. Remember when Turok made me do those questions on the day I proposed?" Sean asked.

"Yes. What about it?" Korra asked.

"We got something new in mind." Sean said before whispering in her ear making her widen her eyes before grinning.

"You are so evil. I like it. I'm sure everyone is gonna love it." Korra said giggling.

"I know I will. And since everyone is here visiting it makes it perfect and announce the pregnancy." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him.

Later

Soon everyone was at a stadium with everyone gathered.

"This is nice to spend time together." Senna said to Korra who smiled.

'Oh this is gonna be one for the books mom.' Korra thought amused as Sean and Turok appeared.

"Now everyone here remembers how months ago my brother convinced me to answer questions which led to Amara the whore queen ruining it." Sean said making people laugh. "This time however though we have something different. This is going to be what is known as roasting someone." Sean said making people cheer.

"Wait what does that mean?" Senna asked.

"It's meaning flat insulting someone." Korra said.

"Oh. They're not gonna have insults thrown at them are they?" Senna asked.

"Nope. But good guess. I think you'll approve this." Korra said giggling.

"Now no your not insulting me or my brother." Sean said as something came out with a tarp over it. "Nope! You'll be insulting my uncle!" Sean yelled pulling the tarp down showing Perseus who was gagged and struggled to get free.

Everyone burst out laughing at this while Korra and her mother giggled.

"Oh. I see." Senna giggled.

"Now. Everyone here has 2 minutes to write what you want to insult my uncle. Don't worry you can say whatever you want." Sean said as people started writing.

Once time was up they were sent through a small portal to randomize as Sean pulled the gag out of Perseus's mouth.

"INSOLANT BRAT!" Perseus roared.

"Now onto the first question." Sean said as it appeared.

"Imagine being the son of Zeus, yet having a voice that could shatter glass." Sean read.

"Now listen here you worthless..." Perseus tried to say before glass did shatter shocking everyone.

"Oh wow." Turok said laughing.

"For the record that was not us." Sean said as his uncle growled.

"Remember when Perseus was actually a legend? Me neither." Turok read making people laugh as did Sean while Perseus growled.

"I AM A LEGEND! I am the son of Zeus!" Perseus yelled.

"And I'm his grandson. You see me shouting that into the air where no one cares? Fame is not defined by linage. It is defined by our actions. Me, Korra and the others and living proof of this." Sean said making the people cheer.

"Perseues I thought of you today...It reminded me to take out the garbage." Turok read before laughing as did everyone else while he growled in rage.

"The only garbage here is this entire tribe! I am your rightful leader and king! Worship me!" Perseus roared making people boo him making him roar in rage while Sean and Turok laughed at this.

"Whenever I see Perseus's face, theres nothing I would change...Except the direction I'm walking in." Turok read making Sean burst out laughing as did everyone else.

"You will bow to me when I take over this tribe!" Perseus yelled.

"Even if Kruger killed you he wouldn't bother absorbing you because you're so worthless. So true." Sean said making people laugh.

"I AM THE STRONGEST HALF GOD IN THE WORLD!" Perseus roared.

"And yet you only killed my tribe by poisoning them with gas to make them unable to move or fight and killed them like a pathetic weakling. I would know I was there." Turok said making people boo again at Perseus who growled in rage.

"What a loser." Jinora said.

"I'm inclined to agree." Tenzin said.

"We're you born on the HIGHWAY? Cause thats where all the accidents happen." Sean read before bursting out laughing as did everyone else.

"I WAS BORN IN A PALACE! I AM ROYALITY!" Perseus roared.

"Whatever." Sean said making him growl.

"A shoe Shinier would be jealous of how much you lick and clean the heal of your father's foot." Turok read.

"WHO TOLD YOU ABOUT THAT!" Perseus asked making everyone widen their eyes before looking at him in shock before both brothers burst out laughing.

"YOU ARE SO LAME!" Sean yelled pounding the ground making everyone burst out laughing.

"GRR!" Perseus roared.

"Why roast him when the Avatar did that the third time he appeared?" Turok read.

"Oh damn." Sean said chuckling as did Korra and her mother. (Remember he came after him when he was in mourning After Deimos died and she beat him up)

"Oh how original. Whats next? You gonna comment about me wearing heels? Perseus asked.

"Last time I heard of him he was wearing heels." Turok read.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" Perseus roared making everyone burst out laughing.

"Out of all the children of Zeus. He's considered the ugly one. Luke I know this is yours." Sean said making him laugh as did everyone else.

"I AM NOT UGLY! I AM THE MOST HANDSOME CREATURE TO WALK THE EARTH!" Perseus roared.

"Yeah right. Thats like saying Eska is actually attractive." Sean said making everyone laugh.

"If I had a yuan from every time Perseus failed, I'd be richer than anyone on Earth." Turok read.

"Hmm." Sean said as he thought that over. "Holy fuck you're right." Sean said "Hey wait a minute Asami thats your's." Sean said making her and everyone else burst out laughing.

"Well, it's true." Asami said making Mako laugh.

"I guess. Next!" Sean said.

"Perseus probably never hit puberty." Turok said.

"Oh my god." Sean said chuckling.

"Untrue!" Perseus roared.

"Then how come you don't have any facial or body hair?" Sean asked making people burst out laughing.

"If Andromeda had to pick between you and the Kraken even if it meant being killed by the later she would pick the Kraken every time." Turok said.

"So fucking true." Sean said making everyone burst out laughing.

"I'LL KILL YOU!" Perseus roared.

"Whatever." Sean said.

"Imagine that your nephew kills the Kraken instead of you. I'd wager any day now it'll happen." Turok said.

"Meh. I'd rather not fight anything but if it shows up so be it." Sean said.

"NO! I SHALL BE THE ONE TO KILL THE KRAKEN! I WILL BE A TRUE LEGEND FOR IT!" Perseus roared.

"You keep saying you're a legend and yet all you've done is kill one village using a gas to paralyze them like a coward. How's that legendary?" Sean asked making people boo at his uncle who growled in rage.

"It must be depressing that even after 10,000 years you have no legends to speak of and yet your nephew has all the fame, married to an Avatar and saved the world and united it." Turok said.

"Ouch." Sean said.

"I AM A LEGEND! I WILL RULE THIS WORLD ONE DAY!" Perseus roared.

"Bullshit." Sean said making people laugh. "AND STOP YELLING!" Sean roared at his face.

"Your such a terrible halfgod that even Raiko is an improvement." Turok read.

"Um...I'm not so sure on that." Sean said scratching his head. "Next." Sean said.

"Perseus is so ugly that he has to wear a helmet to vanish to prevent us from seeing it." Turok read.

"Oooh Ouch." Sean said laughing while Perseues roared in rage.

"Perseus is like a cockroach. You think he's dead and yet he survives." Turok said.

"Thats putting it mildly." Sean said making everyone agree while he growled.

"The day that you were born your mother put you into a casket and threw you out to sea hoping to never see you again." Turok read.

"Ouch." Sean said.

"Thats gotta hurt." Mimir said.

"That is not true!" Perseus yelled.

"Yeah your right your own father did it seeing how worthless you were." Turok said making everyone burst out laughing.

"Can you kill us all first and then sing?" Sean read making him snicker. "Korra I know thats yours." Sean said making her burst out laughing as did everyone else.

"My voice is beautiful!" Perseus said before more glass shattered.

"And yet it shatters glass." Sean said.

"Even the other gods think you're worthless and annoying. Considering Artemis threw you out of the Arena is living proof." Turok read.

"Mako this is yours." Sean said making him chuckle while everyone laughed.

"Andromeda would rather die by the Kraken than by married to you." Turok read.

"Ain't that the Truth." Sean said making people laugh.

"I would roast you. But I'm not allowed to burn trash." Turok read making Sean snicker.

"Damn." Sean said making people snicker.

"Oh this is greater than I thought." Korra said to her mother who giggled.

"When I get out of here...I am going to kill you." Perseus said.

"You make it sound like you're gonna live when this is done." Sean said making him growl.

"No matter what everyone thinks you'll always be the greatest failure to me." Turok said.

"Senna...I know this is yours." Sean said making her snicker while Korra looked at her mother with a grin.

"Wow Mom. I didn't think you even had a mean bone." Korra said making her giggle.

"Ok Last one since I'm getting tired of listening to his voice." Sean said.

"Hercules has gotten some, Theseus has gotten some and even your nephew has gotten some. And yet you remain a virgin for 10,000 years." Turok read.

"Oh shit!" Sean yelled laughing his ass off as did everyone.

"SILENCE! I will find someone as beautiful as the queen who was stolen from me! And she will sire great and powerful children!" Perseus said.

"Oh please. If you do have kids they'll be as pathetic as you." Sean said.

"What would you know! You don't even have children." Perseus said making Sean look at Korra who nods.

"No but we're expecting." Sean said making the crowd gasp in surprise while Senna looked at Korra who smiled.

"Surprise." Korra said.

"Oh honey." Senna said holding her.

"NO! I will have children first before you! Mine will be superior! I am the son of Zeus...I AM..." Perseus tried to say before Sean pulled out his Axe and slammed it into him as he froze solid before breaking apart into nothing but tiny pieces.

"Nothing but a waste of flesh." Sean said. "I honestly question if you and I are even actually related." Sean said.

Later

"Oh I am so proud of you two." Senna said holding Korra making her smile.

"How far along is she?" Kya asked.

"At least a little over a month." Sean said holding Korra close.

"When did you two find out?" Asami asked making Korra smile softly.

"Katara told me." Korra said surprising Tenzin and his siblings. "I told her we were trying and she examined me and well...Now we know." Korra said making them smile.

"Well, at least with most of the gods dead and now Perseus finally killed you won't have to worry much." Reznov said.

Later

Everyone was at the palace celebrating Korra's pregnancy.

Right now however Bolin was poking Korra's stomach making her giggle.

"Bolin thats not gonna make it go any faster." Korra said.

"Bolin knock it off." Mako said pulling him away.

"I thought you said you were gonna wait till you were 20 to have kids." Asami said making her smile softly.

"After he was so badly injured because of Unalaq...I decided to have kids now. Call it another reason for him to come out alive not just for me but for the baby." Korra said making her smile as she hugged her.

"Well, I know you two a re gonna be great parents." Asami said making her smile.

Walking outside she saw Sean looking at the spirits dancing in the skies.

"Hey." Korra said walking to him.

"Hey." Sean said holding her close. "So how you feeling about all this?" Sean asked.

"Excited. I know I said I wanted to wait till I was 20. But after what Unalaq did I didn't want to take chance." Korra said holding her stomach.

"I think we both made the right choice." Sean said kissing her.

"I love you." Korra said.

"I love you too." Sean said as they enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Authors Note: Oh man Perseus got his ass burnt big time before dying. I was gonna have him live in season 3 but I changed my mind since he's such a headache and not even funny to have around anymore. Now Next Chapter I got one last thing before getting into season 3. I think everyone is gonna love this. Sora yes you should still read this but stop lashing out since no one else does.
