Chapter 39 The Earth Queen
Sean and Korra watched as Kai was training with Bumi from above while Jinora and Turok observed.
"You did a really good thing letting him come along." Korra said making him smile as he held her close.
"Mmm. I can understand why he did what he did in the past. Living all alone gives you no responsibilities unlike us. Besides what kind of Father would I be if I let another kid go to prison?" Sean asked making her smile before kissing him.
Thats when Bumi was knocked off his feet making them laugh before he noticed his wallet was missing before seeing Kai with it.
"Give me that you little Thief!" Bumi yelled chasing him making them laugh more.
"I guess some habits are hard to break." Sean said before Kai approached Turok who was in Wolf form sleeping.
"By the way I don't think I caught your name." Kai said making him narrow his eyes at him before turning away. "Um Ok. Well I hope we'll get to know each other." Kai said making him snarl making him yelp before running off.
"Is it me or is Turok acting strange?" Korra asked.
"Yeah. The hell is up with him?" Sean asked before Tenzin approached him.
"It's so exciting to be on a diplomatic mission to Ba Sing Se. What's the Earth Queen like?" Korra asked Tenzin.
"I've never met her, but I've heard she can be quite demanding." Tenzin said.
"Oh great. Another selfish ruler who cares only about herself." Sean said thinking of Unalaq.
"I'm sure she's nothing like him." Korra said reassuring him. (Nope...She's even worse by a hundred times over.)
Thats when Bolin rushed to the rails.
"This is it, Mako! We made it!" Bolin yelled.
"Calm down." Sean said.
"I wonder how many Airbenders are down there." Korra said.
"Reports indicate at least a few dozen." Sean said.
"From what you told me brother that is to be expected" Mimir said.
Passing the first ring however they saw how bad it was seeing the poorly built houses.
"Oh my god." Sean said disgusted.
"Ugh. And I thought Meelo smelled bad." Dojo said.
"Aye. How can I feel nauseous without a stomach?" Mimir asked.
Soon they made it to the middle ring.
"HELLO MIDDLE RING!" Bolin yelled.
"Now this is more like it." Korra said appreciating the clean streets and houses.
"Well at least this section is more clean." Sean said.
"Heh. I wouldn't mind living here instead of the South." Dojo said.
"What do you have against the South? It's where I lived for most of my life." Sean said.
"I'm a dragon. I hate the cold." Dojo said.
"Whatever." Korra said.
Thats when they made it to the upper Ring and found the palace made of gold.
"You have got to be fucking kidding me." Sean said annoyed.
"Someone is clearly spoiled rotten" Mimir said.
"Wow. Makes you wonder where all your tax money is going." Dojo said.
"Now this is more like it." Kai said before Sean pulled his hair. "HEY!" Kai yelled..
"Boy! Don't go back to your old ways Or I'll throw you in the closest cell." Sean said as they landed.
Getting off they were greeted by a servant. "Avatar Korra, Lord Kruger and Master Tenzin, It is a pleasure to welcome you and your party to the Upper Ring of Ba Sing Se. I am Grand Secretariat Gun." Gun said bowing.
"Thank you." Korra said bowing a little but found it difficult because of her stomach.
Thats when Bolin and the animals appeared before he sniffed the air.
"Ahh, it's got that upper ring Smell." Bolin said.
"Oh, no. The Queen hates animals. We've got to get them out of sight." Gun said.
"Well, I can stash Pabu in my shirt. These two are gonna be a little tougher." Bolin said.
"This is one of those perks of shrinking and growing." Dojo said around Korra's neck making her smile.
"Come with me, hurry. I'll take you to your quarters." Gun said leading them away. "Now, when you meet the queen, make sure you bow low enough. That's very important. And don't look her in the eye, she can't stand that. If any food is served. don't eat before she eats. Oh, actually, I have to taste her food first, Then she eats, then you can eat. Better yet, just don't eat." Gun said. (Jesus Christ)
"Seems like an awful lot of rules that aren't really needed." Luke said making Gun sigh as Kai saw a noble pass them before seeing her with gold and jewels making him grin before sneaking off. (Changed my ass)
"Oh, you have no idea, and I'm the one who gets in trouble when people don't follow them, so Please, Please, for my sake, just try not to upset her majesty." Gun said leading them into a house. "Now. go in and make yourselves comfortable and keep those animals out of sight in the backyard. If you'd like to meet the Earth Queen you should follow me." Gun said as Korra was about to go.
"Korra maybe you should stay here while I handle this." Sean said concerned things might get ugly and add stress. Korra smiled before kissing him.
"Sean, I'm not helpless. It's just a talk nothing more. I'll be fine." Korra said.
"Ok." Sean said as the two left.
Soon the three approached the Earth Queen who was observing some construction with some girl next to her.
"Your Majesty, May I present Avatar Korra and her Husband Lord Kruger." Gun said.
"Your Ruining the Koi Pond! It's completely overshadowed by the topiaries! Guards, Take that Buffoon away and get me someone who knows what they're doing!" The Queen yelled making Sean and Korra look at each other.
"I take it back. She's even worse than Unalaq." Korra whispered.
"Mmm." Sean said in agreement.
"So I finally get a visit from the Avatar and the son of Athena. Let me guess, you want something." The Queen said.
"Well, as it happens we were hoping you could..." Korra tried to say.
"I hardly think you're in a position to ask me for favors after everything the last Avatar did to the Earth kingdom." The Queen said before the girl who looked like a younger version of the queen looked at them which she noticed. "Ah allow me to present my daughter. She'll soon be taking my place one day in ruling my empire like me." The Queen said making her daughter smile while the two looked disturbed.
"I..see. Anyway what does that mean? As I recall they helped your father reclaim his throne after the war." Sean said.
"True but I'm referring after the war. He and Fire Lord Zuko took advantage of my father's weakness, and stole our lands to make their own little empire. The united republic is Earth Kingdom territory." The Queen said.
"A small patch of land is hardly a concern for the rest of the land you have." Sean said making her scoff.
"All land belongs to us. The United Republic will one day belong back to the Earth Kingdom as will its people." Her daughter said smugly while eyeing him making him feel uncomfortable while Korra glared.
"Well, I'm not sure what I can do about that." Korra said uncomfortable.
"Not that you care. But whats left of my kingdom is falling to ruin." The Queen said. (well damn I wonder why)
"If your talking about the lower ring I would agree." Mimir said.
"Who said that?" The Queen asked looking around with her daughter before Sean held up Mimir.
"Say hi Mimir." Korra said grinning.
"Hi, I'm Mimir, Smartest man alive." Mimir said making the Queen and her daughter scream in fright while Korra and Sean burst out laughing.
"Oh this never gets old period." Sean said chuckling. (I seriously want to see this happen in the new God of War game thats supposed to come out this year. It would be hilarious)
Meanwhile
"Hey, Has anyone seen Kai?" Luke asked before they looked around.
"Kai?" Tenzin asked.
"He's not in here." Bumi said.
"I don't think I've seen him since we landed." Asami said.
"I knew that kid was no good." Turok said. "We should have just let the police have him." Turok said.
"Turok...He's a new airbender and we need as many to rebuild the air nation." Jinora said.
"So what if he continues to steal thats good for the new air nation? He's nothing but a thief. He lied to us once about the police and now he's lied about changing his ways. I say good riddance." Turok said.
"Turok...He's grown up alone most of his life. You could have easily turned out that way if Sean hadn't found you that day Perseus killed your entire tribe. Imagine what he went through with no one." Tenzin said making him frown.
"Ok fine. We'll go look for him. But If he runs I'm kicking his ass." Turok said as he Mako and Bolin left.
"Does Turok seem to be acting strange?" Asami asked.
"I've noticed it as well since we took Kai with us." Tenzin said while Jinora was worried about what her boyfriend's problem was.
Meanwhile
"NO TO YOUR LEFT! YOUR OTHER LEFT! Do you have these problems with your servants?" The Queen asked.
"I don't have servants." Sean said annoyed while her daughter keeps looking at him.
"Listen, the reason for our visit is that we're trying to gather all of the new airbenders who are popping up in the Earth kingdom, and we'd like your help finding the ones in Ba Sing Se." Korra said.
"Airbenders in Ba Sing Se? Where did you hear that?" The Queen asked.
"Over the last few days new benders of every element have been popping up all over the world. We got reports of a few dozen here." Sean said.
"Hmm. Well, before I even consider helping you, we need you to do something for us." The Queen's daughter said.
"Yes." The Queen said.
"I'm in no condition to be doing anything at the moment. I'm pregnant" Korra said holding her stomach.
"But I can. What is it?" Sean asked.
"I have a vault full of Tax money sitting in a town south of here. Barbarians have stolen my past two shipments. Go collect my money and bring it back here." The queen said making them frown.
"Very well." Sean said as they were about to leave.
"Oh darling when you get tired of that waste of Avatar flesh you can always come to me." The Queen's daughter said making Korra's eyes twitch as they left.
"I hate her and her daughter." Korra said.
"Feelings mutual and her daughter more than I do Amara and her sisters. I'm gonna have Asami take me to this vault while you rest back home." Sean said.
"Sean, I'm not..." Korra tried to say.
"No Korra. If there are bandits attacking I'm not gonna put you in harms way. You're in no condition to be out in the field." Sean said making her sigh holding her stomach.
"Ok, Fine." Korra said before he kissed her making her smile. "I can't help but wonder if you'll be overprotective when the baby is born." Korra said.
"I am not overprotective." Sean said.
Arriving back at the house they noticed Bolin, Turok and Mako were missing as was Kai.
"Where are Mako, Turok, Bolin and Kai?" Sean asked.
"Kai vanished and we think he's up to his old ways again." Tenzin said making him sigh.
"I help him from going to jail and this is the thanks I get. I'll remember that next time he needs help." Sean said as Korra sat down. "Anyway Asami I need you to fly me towards a town south of here. The Queen and her daughter want me to collect some tax money so she'll tell us where the Airbenders are in return." Sean said.
"Yeah sure no problem" Asami said as they left.
"So...What exactly happened?" Asami asked.
"I don't wanna talk about it." Sean said as they took off.
Meanwhile
Zuko and Baldur's dragons flew to the Northern Water Tribe with Tonraq on Baldur's dragon.
Arriving at the chiefs palace they saw Desna and Eska who looked bored out of their minds. After trying to have Sean killed using the seal their father placed on the back of his head and being exposed they lost a lot of power. Only reason they weren't kicked out was because they had made some bogus claim they didn't know what the seal did. (I really wished they died in the actual show since they are so uncaring to their tribe and I hate them)
"Lord Zuko, Uncle, Lord Baldur. What do you want now? Here to try and kick us out of the tribe?" Desna asked. (Sora I never once said they were killed in this story. Pay attention! I hate having to constantly remind you of something no one else forgets)
"You deserve to be kicked out for that stunt of yours. But if you want to make some amends you'll help us out." Tonraq said.
"We're not interested in making amends since like we said we have no issues killing the God slayer." Eska said making him frown seeing they were too much like his brother. "But anything that gets us out of this palace will do." Eska said.
"Theres a secret prison here that we need to check on. Theseus is already on his way here as is Freya." Zuko said.
Meanwhile
Sean and Asami got off the airship and headed for the bank.
"What in the fuck is wrong with this place?" Sean asked seeing it was in bad shape.
"I don't feel good about this." Mimir said.
"I don't like any of this at all." Asami said before they made it to the bank before it was opened.
"You here for the Tax Shipment?" A guard asked.
"Yes." Sean said before they started loading it up and went to the airship.
Thats when a flare went up.
"Now what?" Sean asked before seeing the bandits arrive on bikes making the guards run away. "No wonder the shipment keeps getting stolen with guards like that." Sean said before summoning the Gauntlet of Zeus and slammed his fist into the ground making the place shake before they fell off their bikes and saw who he was and gasped in fear before they ran off.
"Your on the wrong side God Slayer. That gold belongs to the people not the queen!" The leader yelled making him narrow his eyes.
"Why do I feel like he's right?" Sean asked.
Meanwhile
Korra rested on the couch holding her pregnant stomach before feeling the baby kick making her smile.
"Well, you are definitely gonna be a pro bender when you get older." Korra said.
Thats when a group of men crashed through the windows making her eyes widen before they tried to capture her only for Tenzin to Airbend them away before Luke pulled out his sword and slashed a few with ease
"Stand aside. We will have the child of the god slayer." One said making Korra widen her eyes. She wanted to fight to protect her unborn baby but knew doing so could harm the baby in her current state.
"Oh no you don't!" Dojo yelled as he turned bigger before breathing fire making them run off seeing they were outmatched.
Korra sighed in relief as Naga rushed in next to her.
"I'm ok girl." Korra said holding her close.
"The hell was that about?" Luke asked.
"Someone wants Korra's unborn child for their own purposes." Tenzin said making her hold her stomach in concern.
Thats when Sean and Asami walked in before they saw the bodies.
"Korra?" Sean asked rushing to her.
"I'm ok. Someone knew I was here and sent them after me. They were after the baby." Korra said holding him making him frown.
"Thats a rather odd coincidence if you ask me brother." Mimir said.
"What does that mean?" Sean asked.
"The queen and her daughter asks you to go pick up her tax shipment and your wife ends up attacked by Earth benders who wanted your kid. I think someone was waiting for you to come." Mimir said making Sean frown.
"I think I know who." Sean said snarling.
Meanwhile
"Why didn't anyone tell us we have a secret prison we could have been throwing people in?" Eska asked as they entered the prison.
"I'd like to put my tailor in here. He never gets my cuffs right." Desna said.
"It's not that kind of prison you fool." Theseus said in front of the elevator before they went down. "15 years ago this prison was constructed after the four were caught. Your father helped hoping he would be allowed to have some influence with Korra but that failed." Theseus said.
"So how many prisoners are here?" Eska asked.
"Just one. Her name is P'li. And she's a unique firebender who can cause explosions with her mind...Ironically, I hired a guy with a similar ability to kill the Avatar myself once." Zuko said making Tonraq and Baldur look at him. "Didn't work." Zuko said.
"Obviously." Baldur said.
"Don't feel bad. I wanted to kill Korra for ruining my wedding. It happens." Eska said.
"Hence the reason you'll die a virgin." Theseus said making her frown.
"Lets just focus on keeping this woman in prison." Tonraq said as they reached the bottom before a bridge extended out to reach her cell.
"The intense cold prevents her from fire bending." Zuko said as they walked to her cell.
"Theres certainly no way anyone's breaking out of here." Desna said.
"Thats what the White Lotus thought about the other three prisons." Baldur said.
"Must be something exciting going on. No one has visited me in 15 years since Kratos beat me." P'li said.
"Don't get used to it." Tonraq said making her chuckle.
"He's out isn't he? I'm feeling warmer already." P'li said grinning.
Meanwhile
"Your majesty, Lord Kruger has returned with the Tax payments." Gun said to the Queen.
"Finally. Secure it in the Vault." The Queen ordered.
"Now...About what we discussed before." Sean said.
"The Dai Li throughly searched the city, but it seems your reports were incorrect. There are no airbenders in Ba Sing Se. So you can gather your little band and be on your way." The Queen said.
"Of course your welcome to stay love." The Queen's daughter said making him glare which shocked her
"I don't fucking think so." Sean said glaring at her making her frown.
"Who do you think you..." The Queen tried to say.
"SILENCE!" Sean roared shocking her. "While I was gone my WIFE was suddenly attacked by Earth benders. Claiming they would have the power of the gods from my unborn Child. Now how in the hell would they know She was at that house? I find it odd that happens after you sent me away." Sean said approaching them with a fierce glare making them tremble.
"I assure you I had nothing to do with that. Me or my daughter." The Queen said trying to stand her ground.
"I find that difficult to believe since clearly you want power. Those bandits you talked about claimed the gold belonged to the people not you. Your empire is falling apart becuase you are ignoring the needs of your people for your own selfish desires. The second I find out you had something to do with this...I will bathe all of Ba Sing Se in your blood. Am I clear?." Sean threatened with a snarl making her tremble.
"Yes...Very clear." The Queen said as he left before smashing one of her statues with little effort making her gulp.
Meanwhile
Back at the prison the others stood guard ready for battle along with several Spartans.
Thats when Zuko landed in front of them.
"Any sign of them?" Baldur asked.
"The only thing I saw was a snow storm heading our way." Zuko said before they saw said storm approaching making Tonraq narrow his eyes.
"Thats no storm. It's them." Tonraq said as Theseus got his weapon out.
"This should be interesting." Theseus said.
Inside the storm was Zaheer using his airbending to mask their approach in a truck before they appeared before he and Ming-Hua dashed at them before they did the same.
"Kratos Took you down last time, Zaheer. I won't let you near my daughter!" Tonraq said attacking him.
Freya was quick to attack Ghazan before Ming-Hua went on the attack dodging most of Baldur's attacks before rocks were launched at him by Ghazan.
This gave Ming-Hua a chance to slip past them before Eska and Desna got in the way only for their heads to be engulfed in water before crushed by ice killing them.
"Consider that as payback on your father's part." Ming-Hua said before heading down.
Freya roared as she tried to use her magic to restrain Zaheer.
"I'm surprised Kruger hasn't kill you and absorbed your powers." Zaheer said.
"Not all of us were corrupted that he needed to kill us and purge us of our darkness. I am one of the only few who remained pure." Fryea said blasting him but he dodged.
Thats when Ming-Hua and P'li came out before she used her combustion bending on them.
"Ah what the hell!" Baldur yelled blinded which they used as a means of escape. "Well, now I see why Kratos had trouble with them in the past." Baldur said.
"Now they'll go after Korra and Sean." Tonraq said worried for his daughter in her current condition.
"Oh dear." Freya said seeing Eska and Desna's crushed heads. "This looked personal." Freya said.
"We had reason to believe Unalaq sent them. This might be payback for letting them rot for 15 years." Tonraq said.
"Lin should be able to find them before they do." Freya said.
"I hope so." Tonraq said.
Meanwhile
Sean held Korra close after telling him of his encounter.
"Your sure the Earth Queen was behind this?" Tenzin asked.
"It makes sense when you think about it. I think she's also keeping the Airbenders for her own personal army. We got reports of Airbenders and yet she said none were found. That makes no sense." Sean said.
"What is she trying to do? Start a war?" Luke asked.
"I think so." Mako said as he, Turok and Bolin walked in.
"There you are." Asami said kissing him. "Where have you been?" Asami asked concerned.
"Out on the fucking streets because of that punk. You should have handed him to the Police and let him rot in prison like he deserves." Turok said to Sean who raised an eyebrow.
"But we did meet our lost relatives and our grandmother so it wasn't that bad." Bolin said making Sean chuckle. Even in situations like that Bolin looked at the positive parts of that. One of his good traits.
"Ok disregarding what Turok said what do you mean?" Sean asked Mako.
"The Earth Queen's been secretly taking Airbenders and forcing them into her army." Mako said making Sean narrow his eyes.
"If she's doing that than she definitly sent those thugs after Korra." Sean said.
"What?" Turok asked.
"While you were gone some Earth benders showed up and tried to kidnap me. They were after the baby." Korra said holding her stomach.
"I can't believe the Earth Queen is conscripting Airbenders." Tenzin said.
"Those people should not be forced to join her army." Korra said.
"Well, technically, the Earth Queen has a right to conscript her citizens." Bumi said making them glare at him. "What? It's true." Bumi said.
"If she's going after Airbenders Kai must have been caught doing it and got caught." Luke said.
"Good. Serves him right. He was acting all smug when we lost him on the train. She can have him for all I care." Turok said.
"Hmm. Ok so if she's training them she would need a secret base in order to do so. Where would she send them?" Sean asked.
"I bet they're under Lake Laogai." Jinora said.
"The hell you talking about?" Luke asked.
"It's where the old Dai Li agents used to have a secret fortress." Jinora said.
"But that was during the hundred year war. That place is probably abandoned by now." Sean said.
"But it's worth looking into." Mimir said.
"True enough." Sean said.
Arriving at the site before Jinora did an out of body spirit experience to search the underground before she came back.
"You were right the place is deserted." Jinora said.
"Not unexpected since it's been over 70 years since this place was last used." Mimir said.
"Ok time for Plan B." Sean said pulling out what they knew as the Eyes of Truth.
"Wait you used those to fight the Fury's illusions The day you revived all of Sparta. What else can they do?" Korra asked.
"Many things actually but comes at a small price. Only experienced people can use these eyes and not receive temporary damage to their eyesight. These eyes belong to the same woman who gave her prediction about me being the God slayer." Sean said.
"So they can help find Kai and the other Airbenders?" Korra asked.
"One can hope." Sean said as he used the eyes to find Kai and the other Airbenders. "AAGH!" Sean yelled holding his eyes before Korra rushed to him.
"Are you ok?" Korra asked concerned.
"Yeah. Goddamnit. That hurts. Nevertheless I know where they are now." Sean said.
Arriving back at the house they discussed what happened. It turned out they were under her temple.
"I can't believe that old hag and her daughter had them right under our noses the whole time." Korra said.
"We have to get into that compound tonight and get those airbenders out." Tenzin said.
"All right, we go in under the cover of darkness. Two small insertion teams and a third on the outside. Then all we'll need is 12 tons of blasting jelly..." Bumi tried to say before someone knocked on the door.
"That better not be the queen." Sean said before opening it but to his surprise it was Lin.
"Lin? What are you doing here?" Tenzin asked as she walked inside.
"We need to get Korra and Sean out of here immediately. They're lives are in danger." Lin said.
"What are you talking about?" Sean asked
"Yeah whats going on?" Korra asked.
"I just got word from Lord Zuko and Tonraq." Lin said.
"Why is Lord Zuko with my dad?" Korra asked.
"Zaheer and the others have escaped." Lin said.
"How is that possible?" Tenzin asked.
"Because Zaheer is an airbender now." Lin said.
"No." Tenzin said in shock.
"HEY!" Sean yelled getting their attention. "Will you fucking morons stop ignoring us. What is going on? Who the fuck is Zaheer? And why are our lives in danger?" Sean asked.
"Yeah I'm really lost here." Korra said holding her stomach making them look at each other before Tenzin sighed.
"Shortly after we found you in the temple, Zaheer and three others attempted to kidnap you and Korra." Tenzin said surprising them.
"How'd they fail?" Sean asked.
"Because of your father. What was left of his life energy was stored in the temple and used to defeat them before joining your mother in Death. After that we locked them in special prisons designed to impair their abilities." Tenzin said.
"Thats why you kept us secluded in the South." Korra said.
"It was for your protection back then before Sean traveled to Avalar and learned who he was." Tenzin said.
"Why didn't you just kill them and be done with it? Be on the Safe side incase others tried to bust them out?" Sean asked.
"Because the timing was too coincidental." Tenzin said.
"What are you talking about?" Korra asked.
"It happened a week shortly after Unalaq tried to kill Sean. We knew he had to be involved and hoped they would tell us. That and they admitted they knew who he was but never told us...Not until we asked if he was the God Slayer and they admitted it." Tenzin said.
"And now their after us again." Korra said holding her pregnant stomach.
"Let them try. I lost everyone from my old family I ain't losing this one." Sean said.
"Why were they trying to kidnap them anyway?" Mako asked.
"We have no idea. They never told us. But never mind that now. We're heading back to Republic City where I can keep you both Safe." Lin said.
"Uh uh. Raiko would just sell us out regardless of that seal. People like him don't change. He'll sell us out the second we land. Forget it." Sean said.
"I'm afraid he's right." Tenzin said.
"Besides we got some airbenders to rescue. The Queen is holding them against their will to use in her army." Korra said.
"All right...We'll bust them out and then leave." Lin said.
Later
Under the where the queen's palace was a group of Dai Li agents walked about.
Thats when one groaned making the others look and gasped seeing him turn to ice before shattering before Sean's blades went into their heads killing them instantly.
"We're in." Sean said on the Radio as Luke, Turok, Mako and Bolin came in. "Luke, Turok you are both with me. Mako you and Bolin find Kai." Sean said.
"Forget him. He's nothing but trouble." Turok said.
"Maybe. But he doesn't deserve this. Now let's go." Sean said as they rushed off.
Up above Korra looked down where they would come out from the airship they came on.
"You ok?" Asami asked making her sigh.
"No. This was supposed to be a simple thing and now I gotta worry about the safety of my unborn baby because of these guys. Every time we take down one enemy another takes their place." Korra said.
"I'm afraid thats how it's always going to be Korra. As long as the Gods are corrupted and remain inside Sean until whatever caused all this is stopped...There will always be new enemies to fight." Tenzin said.
"Yeah...I just hope everything will be ok." Korra said.
Sean and the others along with the Airbenders rushed out of the hidden bunker before a large number of Dai Li agents arrived.
"Well, shit." Luke said taking out his sword.
"So you discovered my elite army." The queen said with her daughter next to her.
"Clearly they need to work on their loyalty. I suggest more physical punishments to make them obedient mind slaves." The Queen's daughter said arrogantly.
"You sent those fuckers after my wife to kidnap her didn't you?" Sean asked glaring at them.
"Actually my daughter did that. She wanted to remove your so called wife so only she could have you and I approve. What better person to marry her than someone with great power. Power that will be passed down to your children and grandchildren. They would be unbeatable. And then lead an army to conquer the four nations after retaking back our land and then destroying every other nation and country to force them to serve the earth empire." The Queen said making him growl.
"Come now lover. Leave that pathetic thing you call a wife and come to me your true love." The Queen's daughter said expecting it.
"You want an honest answer how I feel about you?" Sean asked before throwing his axe at the queen in the chest making her gasp in shock before she froze solid before breaking apart shocking her agents while her daughter looked indifferent. "I hate your guts." Sean said.
"Hmm. I guess I'll have to remove that thing you call your wife and kill her spawn before you accept that I'm the only one meant for you." The new Queen said uncaring about her mother's death.
Thats when the ground began to shake.
"Now what?" Mako asked before someone on a large undead horse charged through before smashing through the Agents with ease while the new queen screamed in fright as she got out of the way.
Sean however narrowed his eyes on the man riding the horse who looked more dead than alive.
"By the gods finally. I have fought my way through the Guardians of Hades. Crawled my way out of the fires of torment. All to find the very object of my vengeance only to learn he has long since passed...But left a son behind. Kruger. The Son of Athena and Kratos...The Ghost of Sparta. While I cannot have your father as my vengeance...You will do just as well...DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM SPARTAN!"
"Alrik." Sean said looking at the Barbarian King. The one responsible for his father making a deal with Ares the God of War. "I'm surprised your here 10,000 years later." Sean said making him laugh.
"I have waited for so many years to have my revenge on your father for ending my life. But since he is dead...I will take my revenge out on you." Alrik said.
Sean's eyes glowed green before a couple flames escaped his mouth before Set and Horus appeared.
"Hold off the Dia Li agents while the Air benders escape. Alrik is mind." Sean said.
"As you command." Horus said before charging at said agents.
"This time Son of Kratos...I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD!" Alrik yelled charging at him before Sean took out his blades of Chaos and cut off the horse's head making Alrik jump off with a large hammer before swinging at him.
The other airbenders were getting loaded up on the airship.
Set roared as he slashed through various Dai Li agents with ease before Horus blew them away.
As Sean continued to fight Alrik however he noticed some of the Dai Li agents getting closet to the new airbenders.
Thats when the skies lit up with lightning before a bolt struck the ground before a bow was seen making Sean grab it.
"Use the Bow of Apollo wisely." Zeus said making Sean smirk before firing several arrows at the Dai Li making them yell as they hit the ground before Sean dodged another of Alrik's attacks before he slammed his axe down before summoning former warriors of his.
"Oh great." Sean said before Luke slashed through a few of them.
Alrik roared in rage before he started growing.
"Oh shit." Luke said as they dodged him from stomping on them.
"Brother look out!" Mimir yelled as one of the undead warriors tried to attack them only for Sean to slash him in half.
Slamming his axe down again Alrik summoned more warriors...But one was actually a fishermen.
"Huh?" Sean said.
"NO! NOT YOU AGAIN!"
"What?" Sean asked.
"Wait...Your not the Ghost of Sparta."
Sean's axe slammed into his head killing him.
"I fucking hate it when people call him that." Sean said before calling his Axe back before jumping up to Alrik's head before slamming his axe down on his shoulder making him roar as his right arm turned to ice before breaking apart.
"NOOOO!" Alrik roared as he tried to smash him but Sean took out the Blade of Olympus and slashed off his other arm making him roar as he began to shrink down before Sean stood over him with his blades of Chaos in hand.
"History repeats itself for you." Sean said slashing his blades with the chains attached before cutting his head clean off like his father did so long ago. Sean also took his hammer making him smirk.
"LETS GO!" Luke yelled as they rushed to the airship and got on.
"STOP THEM! Don't let my future husband escape!" The new queen yelled before lightning began to ran down on them making her scream in fright.
After that the airships were out of Ba Sing Se.
"Phew. Glad thats over." Kai said before Turok punched him down hard before doing so repeatedly.
"THE FUCKS GOTTEN INTO YOU!" Sean yelled pulling him off.
"The hell going on with you?" Korra asked.
"This punk has caused nothing but trouble since we found him. He claimed he's changed but took off the second he saw so much gold and stole from people again! Got me, Mako and Bolin stuck outside the City with a smug grin and no doubt was in a Luxury suit laughing about it!" Turok yelled making Kai look down. "I'm taking him back to the Sherif we met and don't try to stop me." Turok said before Sean dragged him off.
Walking up top Sean put a barrier around them to keep the conversation private.
"Ok...Whats really going on? You always said people like him need proper guidance. And yet for some reason the second we meet him you're all hostile. Whats going on?" Sean asked.
"Nothing. He's caused nothing but trouble for us. We saved him from going to jail and how did he thank us? Ditched us and went back to doing what he does without a second thought. I don't think he's Air nation material. No doubt he'll try to corrupt the minds of the new airbenders like Jinora." Turok said making Sean widen his eyes in realization.
"Wait a second...This isn't about any of that bullshit. You see them together and you're getting jealous." Sean said.
"I am not." Turok said.
"Yes you are. I got jealous of the attention Bolin was getting from Korra when he took her out. I know this reaction completely." Sean said grinning.
"Whatever." Turok said.
"Turok...You really think Jinora would just leave you like that? You saved her life. You put yours on the line for her. That kind of act creates a strong bond thats not easily broken." Sean said making him look away. "Look I get it. I felt the same way when Korra went out with Bolin. Only I knew she didn't feel the same way about him. You got to use your head." Sean said making him sigh.
"Yeah...I guess." Turok said before the barrier went down and went down stairs.
Minutes later
"Wait...Turok was jealous?" Korra asked amused.
"I somehow am not surprised." Sean said chuckling.
"Sean...Are you gonna be ok about all this?" Korra asked making him smile.
"Don't worry. They won't get anywhere near you." Sean said kissing her making her smile as she held him close.
Soon the new airbenders got on the airship Lin brought since Korra still needed the one Asami brought incase she went into labor early while traveling. Turok and Jinora went with Tenzin to the Northern Air temple.
"Lin?" Sean asked getting her attention. "You said you spent 15 years interrogating Zaheer and the others right?" Sean asked.
"Yeah. Though I do agree we should have just gotten rid of them. Especially since Unalaq was killed so we had no more questions for them." Lin said.
"Tell me everything you know about them." Sean said.
