Chaos Is Fun:
When Harry was picked up and taken to headquarters of the order of the phoenix, he didn't go to the room that Mrs Weasley had explained would be his while at the headquarters of the order of the phoenix, the one he was supposed to share with Ron. No, Harry went to his godfather's room, he used magic to expand the sofa. Sirius had secretly told him that the ministry cannot pick up any magic done in a place that was under the fidelius charm. Harry conjured some blankets and a pillow and with a smile on his face, he went to sleep.
Harry had told everyone at headquarters that as far as he was concerned, he wanted nothing to do with them. If they support Dumbledore, then they were his enemy since Dumbledore was his enemy. Everyone was shocked. Mrs Weasley tried yelling until Harry used a silencing charm on her, then called her a loud-mouth bitch.
Sirius asked why. Harry explained it. Dumbledore allowed him to be abused for years, then gets his so-called friends to turn their backs on him when he needed them. He also had the so-called order kept him prisoner with abusive people. He explained how the old man allowed Snape to bully and harass him. He wasn't going to take any of that any more.
Harry understood why Sirius couldn't write or visit. But as he told everyone, he was suffering after the graveyard and was left alone with disgusting muggles who he would love to see dead. He wouldn't kill them but he hoped they died. He turned and walked into what looked like a living room and refused to talk to anyone. Hermione cried when Harry ignored her, Ron flinched when Harry snarled at him. Most of the order that were there realised they might have lost the war all because they followed Dumbledore's orders.
Before Harry Potter's trial for underage magic, he had begun to get desperate and kept trying to figure out how he could make people believe he really had been attacked by dementors. Everything he thought of was thrown out. It took a full week where he had spent all his time alone before he got an idea that just might help him keep his wand but also get back at a few people who deserve some payback. But Harry wasn't going to kill or hurt them, he was going to use his father's side. He was going to use his marauder's side. It would get rid of those people for good. They would live, but not in the way they would want to live.
Harry waited until everyone at Grimmauld place was asleep before he called Dobby. He explained what he needed and if there was a chance that Dobby could find another couple of house elves that could help. If they wanted to bond, he would, if they wanted to remain free, then he would pay them for their work. All he wanted was their help and for them to keep his secrets. Dobby knew of two free house elves and he knew they both wanted to belong to a family. Harry told Dobby that he would bond with them. Dobby asked to bond with Harry as well, but also asked if he could still buy and make his own clothes.
Harry and Dobby spoke for a while before Dobby went to speak with Winky and Topsy. The three elves bonded to Harry, then he explained what he needed and asked if they could do it. When they said it was easy for a house elf, he smiled. He only asked that they keep his secrets, especially about this and to make sure they were safe. The three elves popped away to do what Harry asked them to do, before he headed to bed to get some sleep. He had to smile and he thought about how stupid most wizards and witches were. He got help from house elves, most magical people just thought of them as slaves but Harry knew exactly how powerful house elves were. Now, thanks to some wonderful little magical creatures, he knew he would get a good night's sleep, but also, he would get a better life.
When Harry had to go to his trial, he actually left the house alone, but had Arthur hurrying to catch up with him. Harry still refuse to acknowledge the man even though he was right beside him. When Harry and Arthur Weasley arrived at the ministry, they saw Tonks waiting for them.
'There's something going on, so Madam Bones said she is going to oversee the hearing, which is what it should have been in the first place.'
'What's going on?' Arthur asked.
'There are all these animals and bugs running around the ministry. There are also people missing, like the minister and half the Wizengamot. It's strange Arthur, the ones missing are all the ones that we know support you-know-who or they side with Fudge. But it's the animals, or bugs. There's a cockroach sitting in the minister's office. Whenever someone tried to move it, or even kill it, it seemed to disappear, then reappear. It's the same with Umbridge and others. They are all in the places the ones missing worked. It's like the animals are taking the place of the people that are missing. It's so strange. An unspeakable is going to do some investigating soon. It's just be absolute chaos here right now. Anyway, let's make our way, carefully to Madam Bones' office.
It was a formality. Harry said he would show his memory or use veritaserum to prove there were dementors in Little Whinging and attacked him and one of the muggle's he lived with. Arthur said it was Harry's family, his cousin. Harry snarled as he said they weren't his family, just as he, Arthur wasn't anything to Harry.
Madam Bones had no idea what was going on or why Harry Potter seemed angry with Arthur. Finally, she got back to what she had to and see proof that Harry Potter was telling the truth. She used her pensieve to view Harry's memory of what took place in Little Whinging. She had been surprised to see that he not only cast a patronus charm, a full bodied patronus charm, but he Harry had also done wandless magic when the other boy had hit Harry which caused him to drop his wand.
Harry was cleared of all charges. Harry then explained about Dobby when he was twelve and why no one asked him if he had done magic that day. Again, Madam Bones looked at Harry's memory to see a house elf using a hover charm. She had that charge removed from his files, then sent a letter to Mafalda Hopkirk so she would know that she was in trouble for not investigating the so-called underage magic. Just before they were ready to leave, Amelia did ask Harry if she could see his memory of what took place after he was taken from Hogwarts at the end of the third task.
Harry instantly removed the memory then sat back while Amelia, Tonks and Arthur watched the memory. It was only then that he allowed himself to grin. The elves had worked their magic on people who should not be involved with running their government but also the ones that worked for Voldemort.
The house elves magic could be made permanent, which is what Harry asked them to do. But there was a few others that the house elves had dealt with for Harry. Snape was the first, then a few students who were like their death eater parents. The house elves also got to some death eaters. If the house elves were in danger, they had to leave even if it meant not turning the death eaters into dung beetles. No, Harry wanted the elves safe but wanted something done to stop people dying or being tortured. The main person Harry wanted the elves to take care of was Voldemort, but again, only if they were not in danger. He also asked them to take care of Voldemort's snake if they got the chance.
It was time someone did something and since the people who should do something, didn't, then Harry was going to take care of it, even though it was the house elves doing the deed. He just wasn't going to let anyone know he or the house elves was involved. He would also make sure that no one found out about Topsy, Winky and Dobby. When he could get away, Harry planned to buy the three elves a lot of things, except clothes, since they wanted to bond with Harry and don't want to be free. He explained that he couldn't buy a home right now, so they could continue to work at Hogwarts until he did. But he would always call them when he needed them.
Topsy, Dobby and Winky had been able to transfigure all the death eaters, along with their families into bugs. But Voldemort ended up a skunk, with red eyes and Nagini was transfigured into a toy snake.
'I believe you need to see a mind healer Mr Potter. After what you have been through, you should have seen one straight away.'
'I knew I needed to talk to someone, but I was kept prisoner and had my owl kept from me so I couldn't write to anyone.'
'What do you mean you were kept prisoner?' Amelia growled. She noticed straight away that her auror winced, 'Do you know what Mr Potter is talking about Junior Auror Tonks?'
Tonks winced again at the use of her official title. She knew she could not lie to her boss.
'Oh, she'll just tell you she was ordered to keep me with abusive people on Dumbledore's orders. He tells all the members of the order of the phoenix to keep me prisoner,' Harry shrugged, 'There's another auror that works for him as well, Shack or something. Didn't hear his name properly. They all like to keep me inside a house with magic hating muggles who like to try to beat the magic out of me.'
Harry knew what he was doing, he was getting two aurors and probably Arthur Weasley in deep trouble. He didn't care. Too many people will follow Albus Dumbledore's orders even if it was against the law. Madam Bones petrified Tonks and Arthur then asked Harry for the full story and he didn't hesitate in telling her everything. He also told her who was in the order of the phoenix and about his innocent godfather. She watched the memory of when Harry spoke with Peter Pettigrew. She might have seen him in the memory of the graveyard but she did not know who he was, now she did.
By the time Harry left the office, alone, Tonks and Arthur were in holding cells and Madam Bones sent aurors to arrest Albus Dumbledore along with everyone in the order of the phoenix, except Sirius Black. First, she would not be able to get into the house since it was under the fidelius charm, but now she was basically in charge, she would go through the files on Sirius and work on clearing him of all charges. She saw enough in the memory to know Sirius Black was innocent.
She planned to questioned Dumbledore and the order members, using veritaserum, since the crime was against a child. It would then be decided if these people will face a trial for keeping Harry Potter prisoner and being an accessory to child abuse. She had given Harry permission to remain in Diagon alley, at the Leaky Cauldron, for the remainder of the holidays. If anyone tried to remove him, he was to use the medallion she gave him. It was used for emergencies and most aurors carried one, now Harry had one. The ministry would be paying for his room.
Harry had Dobby sneak into Grimmauld place to retrieve his belongings, but also to leave a letter for Sirius in his bedroom. Harry wanted Sirius to know that Madam Bones was working on his freedom and how Harry would not be returning to the house, not while others were there. Harry did say he would see Sirius when he was free, but he refused to be kept prisoner in that dark house with people he didn't like. He included everyone at Grimmauld place except Sirius and the twins.
Harry found out that Sirius had tried to use Pig to send Harry a letter, but Molly had caught him and sent the owl back to the Burrow. The same thing happened to the twins. They eventually left the order and refused to have anything to do with their mother again. They were adults and she was trying to stop them being adults and living their lives as they wanted.
By the time Harry climbed into bed that night, he didn't know that Hermione had been taken home to her parents. The aurors had explained to the Granger's what was going on and why Hermione was upset. The Granger's looked disappointed in their daughter but they did thank the aurors for bringing their daughter home. They hadn't wanted her to leave, until she the first of September. They only got to spend a small amount of time with her, yet these order said they had to take Hermione, for her safety. They had decided to get copies of the wizarding worlds newspapers. They needed to know exactly what was going on. When they found out what was going on, they had decided to remove their daughter from Hogwarts and they were planning on moving overseas. They originally planned to do that when Hermione finished her education, now they could go straight away. They knew that when Hermione became an adult, she could return, if she wanted. They just hoped being away for a couple of years she would see the wizarding world was too dangerous and too old fashioned.
Ron and Ginny had been taken to their Aunt Muriel's when their mother and two older brothers had been arrested. They weren't told anything except they would probably living with their aunt for a while as their parents and older brothers would probably do a few years in jail. They wouldn't know for sure until they were questioned with veritaserum. They had no idea why their family were in jail and no one would tell them anything. They wanted to talk to the twins since they figured Fred and George would know what was going on, but they could not contact them.
Albus Dumbledore tried to escape using his phoenix, but the phoenix was stunned when made him have a burning day. Albus then tried to fight the aurors, until a disillusioned junior auror by the name of Connie Hammer had stunned him. The moment Albus fell, the other aurors easily took care of Minerva McGonagall. They did look for Snape, all they found was a tiny bat hanging from the rafters in Snape's chambers.
All the order ended up without wands or portkeys and placed in cells that cut off their magic, including phoenix magic. The phoenix might not be able to rescue Albus right now, but it would only be a few months before the phoenix was fully grown. They were not going to take the chance that Albus could escape.
Harry spent the next few days enjoying his freedom. He got more money out of his vault and finally did some clothes shopping. Everyone was usually rushed so he never got time before. Now he could go into the muggle world to get things he always wanted, but he also bought stuff from Diagon alley. He also got around to buying things for the three house elves.
During this time Harry had been doing a lot of thinking. Right now, he knew he would not be returning to Hogwarts. He didn't want to put up with Dumbledore, McGonagall, some of the other teachers but also people like Hermione and Ron. They knew what his life was like with the Dursley's, especially how they didn't feed him enough. Harry always counted on their food parcels. They also knew how Harry had suffered in the graveyard. They didn't care enough which is why they listened to Dumbledore. To Harry, that wasn't how a friend should behave, so they were no longer friends.
Harry did want to learn, he just hoped he could continue his education without having to put up with all those people.
Harry did get a letter from Sirius, delivered by Hedwig. Sirius explained that he was the only one at the house now. He got rid of Kreacher and was thankful for Harry sending his house elves to clean the house. He could remain there now as it wasn't so dark and dank. The moment he was free he would buy another house, one he hoped Harry would share with him. That comment made Harry smile. He wrote back to his godfather and said he was looking forward to sharing a home with Padfoot and hoped it wouldn't be long. He also wrote how he won't be returning to Hogwarts, for many reasons. One is Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape. Two is Ron and Hermione. Three, he hated bullies and nothing was ever done, the bullies got away with everything. He had to add Snape so no one got suspicious that he knew where he disappeared to. He hadn't disappeared. Snape was now a greasy looking tiny bat living in the dungeons of Hogwarts.
While Harry was writing his letter to Sirius, it reminded him of someone he knows is being bullied yet none of the teachers or prefects were doing anything about it. In fact one of the bullies was a prefect. He called Winky and asked her if she could find the girls missing items. He also asked that if they keep bullying Luna, Winky could turn them into bugs. They had this last chance to change.
Amelia had worked on people to be governors for Hogwarts but she made sure none of them were all for pure-bloods. The new governors spoke and appointed Pomona sprout as headmistress, temporarily until Dumbledore and McGonagall's trials. Filius Flitwick was named deputy head.
The first trials were her two aurors. Both were found guilty and lost their jobs but they would also do five years in Azkaban. The other order members were next. The Weasley's were questioned about when the twins and Ron rescuing Harry before his second. If they knew how Harry was being treated, they should have gone to the aurors straight away, they didn't and would now do five years for being an accessory to child abuse. Bill and Charlie Weasley were fined, but not jailed as they did not know that Harry Potter was being abused. They were told Harry was staying with his family because it he had powerful protection. Fleur Delacour was also released as she also had no idea that Harry was being mistreated. The order members, including Minerva McGonagall were all going to do five years. When Dumbledore was questioned, his answers meant he would do at least ten years in Azkaban. All of them were stunned and didn't wake up until they were in their cells in Azkaban. After Sirius escaped Azkaban, they added more spells placed on it. One was to stop a person changing into their animagus form. The second was to stop anyone calling a phoenix or a house elf. No one could escape Azkaban ever again.
Right after the trials, Amelia along with two of her favourite aurors met Harry and Sirius in a muggle hotel. Once Sirius was questioned using veritaserum and they got to see his memories, he was declared innocent of all charges. One of the aurors was going to the Daily Prophet to release a statement about Sirius, but also about the trials that had just been held. The other auror was going to the WWN to read the statement out. Amelia wanted it known as quickly as possible that Sirius Black was innocent but she was also letting it know that he was Harry Potter's godfather.
Part of her statement also said that Voldemort had returned and she was working on finding and capturing the dark wizard, along with all his death eaters. She made it law that anyone with a dark mark will stand trial but this time with the use of veritaserum. They were all considered dangerous criminals and had large prices put on their heads.
Since Amelia had taken emergency powers, she ordered all the death eater's vaults sealed, until they were questioned using veritaserum but their families also had to be questioned. They wanted to make a clean sweep and get everyone that supported Voldemort. When Harry heard that, he had to smirk. It meant any family members of those death eaters could not use the money. He thought of Draco Malfoy which made him laugh. Then he remembered that Draco, along with the family members of all the death eaters were now bugs. He hoped good people like Amelia Bones could use some of the Malfoy fortune to make their world a better and safer place.
When the students returned to Hogwarts, the staff were surprised when Harry Potter did not turn up. The new headmistress wrote to Sirius Black to ask why his godson was not at Hogwarts.
The letter Pomona got back surprised her. After finding out about how the order of the phoenix had treated Harry, which included some of his friends, she knew it would be best for their world and the school if Harry returned to Hogwarts but to do that, Ron and Ginny Weasley could not be at Hogwarts. She would work on that to make it happen. She had seen how Ron Weasley acted and how he spoke, she knew with some of the changes she wanted to make would mean Ron wouldn't last long at Hogwarts. She also believed it would be the same for the female Weasley.
Pomona called a staff meeting straight away. The first person she spoke to was Filius. She showed him the letter that she got from Sirius Black and what his godson had told him.
'No, I did not know which means the prefects were keeping this from me. I will deal with this and my Ravenclaw's will be telling me everything before the night is out.'
'You deal with that now Filius,' Pomona waited until his deputy left before asking the rest of her staff about what they may have noticed or even if they were suspicious. None did but they were all going to be keeping a watch over the students, more than they did before.
By the time everyone had finished, she realised all of the staff were guilty of turning a blind eye to what was going on. She instantly began to work on new rules and stricter and harsher punishments for bullying.
It was only a couple of days later that Sirius had Harry read the story that was on the front page of the Daily Prophecy. It was mainly about the new rules set out for bullying at Hogwarts, but it also mentioned how three students had already been expelled and two were serving a month's suspension. The new rules meant that anyone doing more than three detentions, that was deserved after investigating, that student will be restricted. They could not go watch quidditch, they could not join a team. They could not even go to Hogsmeade. There were harsher punishments for any student who had been suspended. They were not allowed to have anything to do with quidditch for the entire time they were a student at Hogwarts, it was the same with Hogsmeade visits. The headmistress, Pomona Sprout said it was time to get harder of bullying students who liked to hurt others.
'So, do you think you will return now?'
'Yeah, okay, but if I find it going back the way it was, I'll leave for good.'
'Fair enough,' Sirius smiled. He already knew what his godson would say. Harry would be able to spend time with real friends now. He never told Harry who the expelled or suspended students were, he would find out soon enough that Ron was one and two girls who were the instigators to the main bullying of Luna Lovegood. The two other girls who had bullied Luna were now bugs. Ginny Weasley had been suspended and she had been told because of what she did, she would never be allowed to watch or play quidditch. Ginny was furious but she also realised it was her own mistake. She should not have tried to help her brother or cause trouble for people who stuck up for Harry after they found out he was the reason their parents were in Azkaban.
Sirius hadn't heard anything about Hermione but he already knew his godson would ignore the girl, just as the girl ignored him when Harry needed his friends.
Sirius took Harry shopping and refused to let Harry pay for anything. He kept saying he is finally able to do his duty as godfather.
Harry was allowed to use the floo from his home with Sirius to the headmistress office.
'Welcome back Mr Potter.'
Harry smiled, 'Thank you...headmistress.'
Pomona smiled, 'Here is your schedule. I have changed a few things which is helping the students. The four houses share the same class but we have divided them into four. So, you will do your charms with the other three houses, yet they will be much smaller. Also, due to the conflicts between certain students, they will not longer be in the same class. It took us a while to work out which students should not be in the same class, but we feel we got it right.'
'Having smaller classes will help Professor, especially for those who are having problems. But I also like the fact I won't have to put up with just the Slytherin's again. It also allows us to mingle with more students.'
'It does. I believe if this was implemented years ago, you may not have had as much trouble with the student population as you did. None of us really got to know what type of boy you were and sorry to say, we listened to rumours. We also listened to some of the staff who were clearing lying about you. Because of the investigating, we, the staff have been doing, I realised I was just like many students. I apologise for the way I treated you when you were picked as the fourth champion. Even though Mr Diggory did explain how you two spoke, I knew you didn't enter, yet I never did say I was sorry. So, I am very sorry for the way I acted.'
Harry gave a small smile, 'Thank you, Professor. To tell you the truth, that's all I wanted. At the end of my second year it would have been nice to hear someone say they were sorry for thinking I was the heir of Slytherin, then again after the tournament. Only one person actually apologised, Luna Lovegood yet she was one that didn't need to. It was then that I found out what the rest of the Ravenclaw's were doing to her.'
'Please do not repeat this, but Professor Flitwick was furious when he found out. He decided to be sneaky. At first, he was going to confront his Ravenclaw's. He finally used a disillusionment charm, snuck into Ravenclaw tower and watched. He saw more than he expected. Two female Ravenclaw's were instantly expelled. The other two that caused trouble never returned to Hogwarts. The rest of Ravenclaw house are all on probation. Also, there will not be a Ravenclaw quidditch team this term, but the first years are going to play some quidditch games just so they can see if they may want to be on the team the follow year. As for Miss Lovegood, she spent a few days in the hospital speaking with Madam Pomfrey to help her cope with how she has been treated over the last few years.'
'I won't repeat anything Professor, I'm just glad something was finally done.'
'This is for you,' Pomona held out a badge, the Gryffindor quidditch captain's badge.
'Wow, thank you Professor.'
'You're welcome. Alright then, go settle in and again, welcome back.'
Harry smiled then left the office. He headed straight to Gryffindor tower. The moment he stepped in Neville and Dean instantly welcomed him back. Seamus got up slowly and walked towards Harry. He apologised for thinking he lied about Voldemort. Harry smiled and said what he said to Sprout, all he wanted was for people to apologise. He also said if his mother was alive and she told him some boy was lying, he would probably believe her over the boy.
'I'm going to unpack before dinner,' Harry smiled again then hurried up to the dorm room. The moment he stepped in he noticed the change, 'Why is there only four beds?'
'Ron was expelled,' Neville said as he came in behind Harry.
'Why?'
'He began to swear and say some nasty things about you, then he began to hex anyone that tried to defend you. Some ended up in hospital until Flitwick stunned him.'
'I always knew he had a temper, so it's not surprising. Was Hermione one of those students who ended up in the hospital?'
'Hermione left. Sinistra is our head of house now and she told us that the staff were notified that the Granger's were moving overseas. It was something they had been planning for a while.'
'So many changes, but I can't help feeling that it's going to be better.'
'I think you're right. Over the last week, it's been really good. No fights or arguments and classes have been good. I hate saying this but none of us have lost things either. Nothing has gone missing from any of our trunks. None of us ever wanted to accuse anyone of stealing even though we all believed Ron was the one who was taking things like chocolate frogs or money. Anyway, about classes, I actually did well in potions, enough to earn an A.'
Harry chuckled, 'We probably all will now, it was always Snape and Malfoy. They're gone so it should be good for everyone.'
'It already is. Unpack, then we can go eat.'
Harry flicked his wand and all his clothes put themselves away. His broom went into the wardrobe and his trunk sat neatly at the end of the bed.
'Nifty spell. When did you learn that?'
'A few days ago. My godfather has been teaching me some great spells. Well, that's done, let's go eat.'
Harry and Neville joined some of the other Gryffindor's then they made their way down through the castle to the great hall.
'Oh yeah, smaller tables and we can sit anywhere. The only time we sit at the long tables is the welcoming feast and the following morning so we can get our schedules.'
'That's great. Hey, do you mind sitting with Luna?'
Neville smiled then walked over to the table with the blond Ravenclaw. 'Would you mind us joining you Luna?'
'Oh no, that would be nice.'
'Thanks,' Harry grinned then sat beside the blond girl, 'I heard you ended up hurt.'
'Oh, yes, nothing to worry about. Madam Pomfrey fixed me right up.'
'We were talking about the changes, like the new rules. Hopefully, it means Hogwarts is a better place. We might be able to study without worrying about what might happen,' Harry said as he began to dish up some breakfast.
The three friends kept talking and couldn't help showing they were surprised when two Slytherin girls sat at the table. They said hello and smiled. Harry, Luna and Neville greeted them with smiled. The five students ended up talking friendly the whole time they were at the table. To Harry, it was proof that Snape and Malfoy were the ones causing the animosity between Slytherin and the rest of the students. The Slytherin students still at Hogwarts were nice people, who didn't have death eater parents.
Harry did get a surprise the following morning, Sirius was there teaching transfiguration and Remus was back as the defence against the dark arts teacher. A retired healer was teaching potions. He knew right then that Hogwarts was a much better school than it had been.
What Harry liked most was the fact he knew that Voldemort and his death eaters were all gone. They might still be physically here, since they were now bugs or animals of some kind, but ones that could not hurt anyone. They could not cause any problems anymore. Harry knew life in the wizarding world was going to be a lot better.
Harry did wonder if anyone would figure out that all the animals and bugs were really people like Fudge and Snape. He hoped no one did, but if they did, he really hoped they never found a way to cancel the house elves magic. He would keep an eye on the bat while at Hogwarts just to make sure he remained a bat.
The last few years at Hogwarts for Harry was the best. He made a lot more friends. His grades improved and there hadn't been one bit of danger. Harry did find out that Madam Bones found out that the bugs and animals were really people and who they were. From what Sirius told him, she was going to find out how to change them back, then realised their world was a lot better without people like Fudge, Umbridge, but also Voldemort and his death eaters. She decided to leave them as they were.
Harry went on to be head boy and continued as quidditch captain who won the quidditch cup every year. He had really good marks, marks he was proud of but so was Sirius, who said his parents would be proud. Sirius remained at Hogwarts as the transfiguration teacher and Remus remained as the defence against the dark arts teacher.
When asked what he was going to do now he was no longer a student, he smiled and said he was still trying to figure out what he wanted to do. The one thing he did know was how much he loved his new girlfriend, Auror Connie Hammer. She was three years older than he was but Harry didn't care, neither did Connie.
By the time Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall were released from Azkaban, they found that they didn't have a place in their world. No one wanted them so both ended up slipping away to live out their lives away from the public eyes. The two aurors, Tonks and Shacklebolt could no longer be aurors and were finding it hard to get work. Both ended up leaving the country.
Bill and Charlie had talked, at first they were going to have Ron and Ginny live with them but not in England. Both said they wanted to remain at Hogwarts, which would mean they had to remain with their Aunt Muriel. When Ron was expelled, Muriel kicked Ron out. The only thing he could do was go live with one of his older brothers, overseas. When Ginny had been suspended, Muriel gave the girl the option of remaining with her but she would not return to Hogwarts. Ginny refused so Bill helped pay for Ginny to return to Hogwarts. When she found out she would not be able to play quidditch, ever, she ended up leaving and moving overseas. She hoped that maybe she could play for a team in another country.
Hermione ended up living with her parents in Australia. Her parents refused to allow her to return to her wizarding education, so she started her muggle education.
Harry never once heard from his old friends and even if he did, he would not respond. They were in his past and he was putting that to rest and beginning a new life, a better life and it all started because he wanted to have fun and create some chaos.
