"So... let me get this straight... the world is doomed to have no future for humanity if we don't go to these Singularities and fix them?" Naruto asked as he made sure of what needed to be done, and why they were needed in the first place.

"Correct." Mash, a young girl a year or two younger them himself, said as she bowed her head slightly to him. She had a neutral look on her face at the moment, but she did seem grateful that there was another Master survivor other than her partner.

Naruto looked at Romani.

"There are 7 Singularities where the bad dude changed the past, which when added together brings about the destruction of humanity." Naruto now explained what a singularity was, just so that he could make sure that he had his information correct. He needed to make sure that he understood everything, so that he didn't have any questions when the time came for him to act.

"It's a lot to take in, honestly, I'm still processing it." Ritsuka Fujimari, another guy slightly younger than Naruto, said as he looked up at the taller blond. Fujimaru was average in height, while Naruto stood head above shoulders most guys from his nation. Having a height of 180cm was a great boon to picking him apart from the rest of the japanese people. "But that seems to be the gist of that part as well." He rubbed his own arm with a smile.

Naruto nodded.

"Okay, and we have to travel back in time to these places using rayshift technology, which is new stuff by the way. We take Servants with us OR summon them and they help us fix shit." Naruto stated as he lowered a finger, showing that he was counting down all of the things that he needed clarified for him.

Romani nodded.

"Yes."

"Servants are Heroic Spirits from the past, that we summon. Mash' shield is the thing we use to summon them in general, and they are great figures from history." Naruto pointed to Mash, who didn't have her shield on her at the moment.

Romani nodded.

"Yes, we use Chaldea's FATE system to summon Heroic Spirits. Mash is a Demi-Servant though, because she is the fusion of a human and Heroic Spirit." Romani cleared that up as well. Mash nodded her head, before she bowed to Naruto.

"It will be a pleasure working with you Naruto-senpai, Fujimaru-senpai and I have already been to Singularity F together. I hope that we can work together well in the future, and more so I hope that my inexperience doesn't hold us back." Mash apologized in advance, which just got Naruto to scratch the back of his head. Fujimaru just put a hand on Mash's shoulder, while Romani looked at Naruto for his reaction to everything so far.

This was Naruto's introduction to how everything worked.

"I'm sure you'll do just fine, either way, we either succeed and everything is okay, or we fail and it doesn't matter anymore anyway. So no pressure." Naruto tried to ease her worries. This seemed like an extremely stressful situation, and the dangers involved would be immense. Naruto looked at the red spiral on his right hand, and he saw markings around that spiral. "This is my Command Spell... these are my Command Spells." Naruto corrected himself as he lifted up his hand, showing the command spells that he gained when he was accepted as a Master.

Fujimaru had his own as well, but they were different than the ones that Naruto had in shape and form.

"Right, you have three of them. They recharge one at a time a day, but when you are in a Singularity, we aren't able to recharge them, so you are limited to three of them. They can be used to force Servants who are bonded to you to obey, strengthen them, summon them to you, or you can heal them with them. They are one of the most important tools that you can use in a Singularity, so use them carefully." Romani explained to Naruto, and Naruto nodded his head, looking at the top of his head carefully.

Naruto paused and put his hand against his chin.

"Do you have more questions?" Mash asked.

"I know I do, this really is a lot to take in." Fujimaru agreed with the idea of asking a lot of questions.

"... Can I summon a Servant now? If there are 7 Singularities, then it makes sense for Mash and Fujimaru to go to 1 on their own, and allow me and another Servant to go to a different one." Naruto offered a suggestion, though he didn't care if they took it or not. He wasn't in charge of the place, that would be Romani who was the current commander. Naruto was just going to be a warrior for hire and fight to fix humanity before it collapsed completely.

Romani was given pause for a moment.

"... We don't have the Staff for that just yet, we had over 200 staff members originally, and if we still had that many, we could easily do it. As it stands, it would put a lot of stress on everyone if we... actually... I'm sure we can manage if we try hard enough." Romani smiled in a strained way. Naruto's idea was the original idea behind what they were going to be doing anyway. "Originally, we planned to tackle every Singularity at the same time... I'm sure even with limited staff we can manage to oversee 2 singularities at the same time." Romani smiled to Naruto.

Mash raised her hand.

"But, without my Shield, Naruto won't be able to summon help from Chaldea easily. Wouldn't it be better to have the three of us together."

"If Servants can Rayshift too, then I'll be fine. It won't be too much stress to take 1 or 2 servants with me to a Singularity... and consider me a scout of sorts. Once you and Fujimaru come back from your Singularity and rest up a little, you can come help me with mine. Then, when we finish we can all rest up and do the process all over again... if that is fine with you." Naruto offered his idea to Romani.

"Do you think you can handle that Mash?" Romani showed concern over the girl.

She nodded.

"I can handle it."

"Okay then, Mash and Fujimaru, you should rest up. Tomorrow, we're going to send you to the first Singularity when we finish the prep work. Naruto, I'll take you to the FATE system and we can summon some servants. Use today to get to know them and their abilities. Fujimaru and Mash have already gotten to know her abilities together." Romani didn't bark out orders, he calmly spoke and he kept a level head. He seemed concerned, but otherwise Naruto allowed the stress in his voice to slip without saying a comment over it. "When Mash leaves for the Singularity, you won't be able to use the FATE system, so we need to summon them now."

"Seems fine by me, I look forward to working with you two!" Naruto grinned and extended his hand to Fujimaru.

He boy took his hand.

"Me too, lets save humanity together Naruto." Fujimari smiled wide, and they let go of their handshake. Naruto then extended his hand to Mash, she hesitated for a moment and looked at his hand. Before then gracefully smiling at him as she took his hand, and she gave it a firm shake just like her partner before her.

"Yes, lets work together well."

'She's very pretty...' Naruto grinned. "So, Gudao and Eggplant it is then..." Naruto stated as he looked at the two of them.

"Eh!?"

"I give all my friends nicknames, you just look like a Gudao to me, and she's got this purple eggplant thing going on. Anyway, see you two later." Naruto waved at them as he turned to walk with Romani to summon his servants.

Mash and Fujimaru looked at each other with raised eyebrows.

-In the FATE/Summoning Room-

"So... just extend my hand like this towards the shield and..." Naruto closed his eyes and allowed his magic to flow out of his body to spark the summoning. Naruto opened his eyes, because using magic seemed very natural to him. Now that he knew about magic, it was like the mana just obeyed him as if it were ingrained into him somehow.

Blue rings of magic started to flow above the shield.

"Ignore that, the system will tell you a failure if it doesn't summon correctly. It will go through 10 loops total with the amount of magic we have running through the system right now." Romani spoke over the speaker.

There was a flash.

A girl appeared.

"I'm Gareth. Seventh seat of the Round Table. I'm a knight that served King Arthur!" A cute girl spoke as she stood up straight, and she showed a large lance in her hand. She introduced herself to her new Master, and the summoning system provided her with the information that she needed to know. "I'm a Lancer-class Servant, lets work together well." Gareth spoke as she extended her hand to Naruto.

He couldn't exactly shake it though.

There was another flash.

"Art thou my Master? Best regards." A girl with green and golden hair spoke, wearing a dress with a combat skirt. She had a heavy mental gloves on, but she was carrying a bow. She seemed older than Gareth for sure, which was funny because Naruto glanced down at her chest.

Nothing.

"That's Atalanta, an Archer-class Servant."

"Yes-" Atalanta was interrupted when there was another flash.

"Whoooooo!"

A GIANT of a man, nearly 300cm tall (298cm) and made of muscle came out of the flash. He seemed chaotic just by the way he was dressed and the scars covering his body, the metal mask over his face, and the horns on his head.

"A Berserker... ah... the Asterious, known as the Minotaur." Atalanta was surprised to see another Heroic spirit from her region of the world. Gareth just waved happily to Asterios, who looked towards Naruto.

"Welcome aboard the team Asterios."

Asterios nodded his head and quietly let the summoning field. He had an happy aura to him though for some odd reason, Naruto would ask him about it later as he got to know him.

"Well, it seems like that is it for now then Naruto. Our system is still very damaged, and the summoning seems to have stressed it a bit. We can try again tomorrow if you want?" Romani offered Naruto, but Naruto looked at the servants that he summoned, and he grinned to himself.

"Nah, I'm fine for now. I want to get to know these guys first, Archer, Lancer, and..."

"Berserker." Asterios answered Naruto's question before he could ask it. Naruto nodded his head, and he extended his hand to Gareth. She took it and shook it, before he extended his hand to Asterios next. Asterios didn't shake his hand, so Naruto instead opted to pat him on the bicep with a grin on his face.

"Is there a kitchen here, I'm hungry, and a good meal is the best way to bond with people?" Naruto called up to Romani.

"Yes, do you need me to show-"

"Nah man, don't bother too much. You've got a full plate already, I'm sure we can find the kitchen on our own."

"You can cook?" Atalanta asked him.

"Nope!"

"Don't worry, I can cook pretty well!" Gareth stated as she made her lance disappear, and Atalanta made her bow vanish as well. She looked at Naruto, before she saw him getting into a running position. "Are we going to race?" Gareth saw Naruto take off running.

"Nope, but this way is faster!"

Atalanta looked at Naruto for a moment.

'He's pretty fast, faster than the men I raced when I was alive.' Atalanta noted that, and that was about it. She just followed after Naruto, with Gareth and Asterios following after her. Since it wasn't a race, she just kept pace with Naruto.

Berserker, Archer, and Lancer.

Points to people that get the joke behind Atalanta's summon.

Note: Somebody points this out, that Naruto has less Mana than Sakura after she fused with the "Holy Grail", so he has less than a Holy Grail.
That is incorrect.
Sakura became a Lesser Grail connected to a Greater Grail AND Angra Mainyu (All the World's Evil), so it wasn't JUST a Holy Grail's amount of mana she was connected to, which means HER magical value is not the same as the value of a normal Holy Grail. Even then, her maximum output was the same as Rin's Maximum Output.
