Chapter thirteen

Two months later Harry finally married Susan. It was a small private affair, because that's what Harry and Susan wanted. There were only two dozen people there, two people who were there was Professor Filius Flitwick and Professor Pomona Sprout. They were the only members of Hogwarts staff that had supported Harry, they had also been two of Harry and Susan's tutors. It was kept a secret so Dumbledore didn't fire them or cause them any trouble. At that time, no one knew that, but that information was also released along with the wedding pictures. Pomona and Filius gave them the go ahead, they said they didn't care anymore and if they were fired then they would become full time tutors.

Even though Harry was enjoying his wedding day to the woman he loved with all his heart, he kept thinking about the book and knew it was time. If he didn't, he would never have a life. But why he kept thinking about it was Susan, he felt terrible because he had kept it a secret. He knew he could never tell her, he didn't think she would care if she knew Harry was the one responsible for the deaths of death eaters, Voldemort, also the death of Snape. But if he was going to use the book again it would mean he was causing the death of Albus Dumbledore and maybe Ginny and Molly Weasley.

Harry planned to use the book the following day, he had given the old man enough time but he never stopped trying to get him, he just wouldn't stop. Now he was married, he wanted to begin his life with his wife without having to worry about Albus Dumbledore. Susan also wanted to begin her trainee ship in healing, but Amelia and Harry were worried that Dumbledore, or one of his supporters might take Susan to get to Harry. So, it was time for the book to be used again.

Special edition copies of Witch Weekly was going to be released the following day, with pictures of Harry and Susan on their wedding day. The main picture on the cover was right as they were pronounced husband and wife. Inside the magazine was pictures and articles dedicated to the wedding and the happy couple.

Neville was Harry's best man. Since the Longbottom's and the bones families were friendly, Augusta was also invited. Hannah Abbott and Neville's girlfriend was Susan's bridesmaid, so the two couples who were also good friends could celebrate Harry and Susan's wedding together. The Weasley twins and their dates were invited, but like the twins, Angelina and Alicia supported Harry, they also missed having him on their team at Hogwarts. Everyone that was invited was sworn to secrecy, but the guests also promised no one would know anything about the wedding, not until the article came out.

The release of Witch Weekly was celebrated by almost everyone in the wizarding world. They celebrated that their hero, the-boy-who-lived had married the woman he loved. A dozen people were furious and were trying to come up with ways to get Harry away from the Bones woman. One girl was working on a cursed letter. She had no idea that the wards around Susan and Harry's home would prevent Susan from being cursed. The letter was addressed to Susan but the wards would cancel the curse. It would alert the Potter couple of the curse on the letter and who sent it. They had been expecting something so they had the goblins ward their home with the same wards that bones manor had.

While Susan was in the shower, Harry had finally used the book. Once the name, Albus Dumbledore disappeared, he hid the book back in the secret compartment of his desk. It was sealed with blood, which meant only someone with Potter blood could open it, but they would also need a password. He hated keeping things from Susan, but he felt he had no choice. He would tell her one day, but not for a very long time. He knew people would believe the old man died of old age, or a heart attack. It would look natural. If he was alone, then no one would see anything. If others were around, it would look like his heart had just stopped. Either way, he was out of their lives, for good. He just had to act surprise when they were told Albus Dumbledore was dead.

Harry and Susan couldn't stop smiling as they ate breakfast. The mail wards alerted them that they had received mail and one was cursed and now contained in the warded room.

'Who do you put your money on?' Susan asked, raising her eyebrows.

Harry sat back and thought, 'I can't decide between Molly and Ginny.'

'You don't think Dumbledore would send a curse?'

'No, he would have found out about the wards to prevent portkey's and howlers, so he would know a curse wouldn't work. He was also warned, by the Wizengamot and the minister. He knew how serious that warning was. It didn't stop him getting others to help him, but he never actually did anything. Molly would have heard that no howlers or portkeys would work, but she wasn't that knowledgeable on what wards can do apart from the basics. She also isn't the type of person to stop without seeing the proof. Ginny wouldn't care, she would just keep going.'

'I believe it was Ginny and I bet you anything its addressed to me.'

'Then let's just finish breakfast so we can find out.'

Susan and Harry went to the mail room. They read the parchment first before they looked at the letter.

'I'll contact Aunty.'

'This could have killed you, even if it would have taken some time.'

'I know love, so now she has to face the consequences of her actions.'

'The thing is, I'm not sure she has the experience to perform this curse, it's not something you would find at Hogwarts. She might have found it at the Black home, but I still don't think she could cast it.'

'Aunty will have the aurors use veritaserum on her, she's an adult, so she, nor her parent's can stop that. Come on love, we're safe and she's about to go to Azkaban, for life. She might even be sent through the veil.'

'It won't stop the others though.'

Susan stared at Harry, after a minute she grinned. She had an idea so she discussed it with Harry. Once he agreed they would talk it over with Amelia.

Amelia and two aurors arrived ten minutes after Susan contacted her aunt. They all went straight to the mail room.

'I see what you mean, this would have killed you, slowly, painfully. It's time to arrest Ginny Weasley.'

'Before you go, I had an idea that might make the rest back off,' Susan said.

'We're not sure it will work, but it's got a good chance. It's worth trying,' Harry said.

The group headed to the living room where they sat down to discuss Susan's idea. They hashed out some plans, but Amelia, along with the two aurors believed this could work, they just weren't sure if it would work on all of them.

'Before I go, I have news, that won't be released until tomorrow, but I knew you two should be told.'

'What's going on?' Susan asked nervously. Harry kept his arm around her.

'Minerva contacted the aurors. She found Albus Dumbledore, dead at his desk. Poppy believes his heart finally gave out due to all the stress that he brought on himself.'

Harry made sure he looked surprised, but he also sagged in relief, Susan did as well. This would work for their plans. Molly will not be able to get Albus Dumbledore's support which meant Ginny would end up in Azkaban.

Amelia and ten aurors turned up at the Burrow. Arthur saw them coming, he didn't even try to stop them, nor did he ask. He believed his wife finally went to far. He was shocked when it was his daughter who was arrested. After a small fight between Ginny and the aurors, they took her into custody.

'So, you have a decision to make. Ginny will be found guilty and when the unspeakables give their report on the wards, no one will deny the truth. I will be pushing for her to go through the veil,' Amelia waited patiently while Molly, Percy and Ron began yelling, Arthur just looked resigned, 'But Harry gave me an idea, if you and the others in Dumbledore's little group agree to it, then all that will happen is Ginny will end up with her magic bound and she will be bound to the Burrow for the next fifty years.'

Arthur finally shot off a loud bang, 'Shut up and listen,' he yelled, 'What idea minister?'

'All of you, which includes Sturgis Podmore, Hestia Jones, Alphias Doge, Emmaline Vance, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Hermione Granger, Minerva McGonagall, Molly, Ginny, Percy, Bill, Charlie, along with Ron and Arthur, will make an unbreakable vow. Right now, Ginny will be coming with us and she will be in Azkaban until her trial. You have until then to decide, a vow and bound, or she goes through the veil,' Amelia nodded to her aurors who dragged Ginny outside, the other aurors kept their wands on the rest of the Weasley's, but they also made sure to protect the minister.

'You didn't name Albus,' Arthur said.

'Albus Dumbledore died this morning from heart failure. You have a few months to make a decision while the aurors investigate. Just to remind you that now Ginny is an adult, she will be questioned using veritaserum. I want the truth and I'm going to get it,' the aurors tense as the minister backed out of the house. They would make sure she was safe and away before they left.

The moment Amelia got back to the ministry, she sent letters off to those in the order. They had to know what was going on and what will happen if they don't make the vow. The letter also stated that Dumbledore had died, so they would not have him to get them off.

Harry and Susan already believed some will refuse, which means if Amelia pushed for it, Ginny will be sent through the veil. She wasn't going to, she would make sure Ginny will end up in Azkaban, for life. That is a long time to be around dementors for someone so young. She wasn't an animagus so she wouldn't have the same protection that Sirius did. But if any of them did anything like another cursed letter, Amelia might just give Ginny the dementors kiss.

Harry and Susan were both sprawled on their bed when Dobby popped in, 'Minister Bones is in the living room.'

Harry and Susan laughed, Dobby had popped in but he had his hands over his eyes while he spoke. He had popped in on them a few times, the first time they got to see that house elves get embarrassed and they can blush. Now Dobby always keeps his hands over his eyes when he pops in. Amelia joined them for dinner three times a week and there were times when she turned up that Harry and Susan were occupied in their bedroom. Even though Dobby would pop in on them while they were having sex, the little elf couldn't get over his embarrassment.

Harry had almost used the book on Ginny, but when Susan gave him the idea, he thought this could finally make those in the order to back off and leave him and his wife alone. He had the book as a back up, in case it was needed. Molly might not care if she died if she made the vow, not if she could hurt Susan, or Harry, but she would since it could mean her daughter lives or dies. He would listen and Amelia would tell them anything they needed to know. But Dobby would be doing a bit of spying for him. He wasn't going to risk anyone hurting his wife. If anyone looked like they might try anything, then he will not hesitate, he will use the book. But Dobby would be able to pop Susan straight to the house if he felt she was in danger.

Once they were both dressed, they went downstairs to join Amelia, who would be joining them for dinner. She explained what happened, now it was wait and see if all of them would make the vow so Ginny would not end up dead.
