Chapter 38 – The Finale III

(Collider Worlds)

Wormhole, Collider

She became as sad, as the ocean. She glances at Kaine's body as Miles, Peter, Noir, Miguel, and Gwen runs to its big hand holding Andy's body, with two giant holes in his stomach. Cindy Moon's teeth wither chatter, her lips were quivering, and her eyes were about to drop water. Cindy saw the pity face from Peter B as he kneels, and wraps Andy Parker's arms and carries him to Cindy and lies him right beside him. Miles sighs and sits on the other side of Andy Parker's body.

Cindy kneels beside him was crying, "Daddy? Daddy?! Daddy."

She takes out his Andy's mask from her pocket and slips it in his cold hands. She breaks and lays her head on his shoulders.

The body glitches. Cindy falls back with her eyes wide open. The Gang eyes stares the body. Andy's body flashes blue and purple and pink. The body slowly crumbles into dust and fades into the air. Only leaving his mask behind.

Cindy reaches for the clouds of dust and drops her hands and her head. A hand grabs her. He looks to see it was Peter.

"Let's go home." He said.

She looks to the dust that became thin air and nods.

Control Pod, Collider

Peter and the Spider-Gang swings back to the control pod, as they land on the platform. Miguel reactivates the vortex white. Peter had a gutted and pity face when he looked down on Andy Parker's face and still imagines his still paled face. He gazes at Cindy looking below and holding the railing.

Peter's thought had opened.

You know I haven't really thought about, how much I regret selling that kid to the foster care. I honestly thought the dad crap was just too much. So, seeing someone who doesn't even wanted her, and taking the leap of faith and finally accepts her and maybe. Just maybe.

A lightbulb appears over his head. Peter smiles and walks up to railing next to her.

"Peter?" said Miguel.

Peter looks to Miguel and winks. He kneels by Cindy, holding Andy's mask. He rubs her shoulder as she gazes at him.

He holds out his hand and veers to the drop-off.

"Why?" She said.

Peter ponders at his words and puts them together carefully. "Even if he said what he said. He and I are technically the same, beside not knowing each other well. Um. I do know that I once taught a kid your age how to be his own Spider-Man. Then, I could too."

Cindy squints and cogs were spinning in her head. She brightens and smiles. Peter holds out his hand and Cindy took it as he carries her to the broken railing.

"Peter?!" Miles said. "Where are you going?"

Peter looks to Miles. "A real chance." Peter closes his eyes and takes one leg off.

"Peter!" The Gang said as a union.

Peter and Cindy fall into the vortex as Miles saw them fall into the bright light. Huh… Not bad man...

Miles feels a sudden quake. He gazes at the horizon of the Wormhole, as rocks begins to be sucked into the wormhole. The world was expanding, causing some terrains to rise and skyscrapers to fall.

"What's happening?!" Peni said.

Miguel checks the goober HUD. His lenses gape. "Uh. Big problem! This thing is expanding, and it'll take half the earth by storm! We have to destroy this thing!"

"How do we get outta here?!" Noir said.

Miles glances around the cosmetic atmosphere and finds the large canon in between the and a little hole under the enormous canon.

"There's a small gap under that canon. That's our exit."

"But who's gonna destroy it?" said Gwen.

"I will. Like last time," Miles said, "I'll catch up with you once it's set it. Now go!"

The gang nods and swings away towards the canon. Gwen hops on the railing and looks to Miles.

"I'll catch up..." He said.

She nods and swings away.

Miles dials in the virus display and finds the self-destruct component. A warning tab pops up, displaying: No turning back! Are you sure? Miles sighs and nods. His fingers hover the 'Yes' button.)

Miles gets hugged into the ground, as he crashes onto the solid rock floor around the wormhole. He finds Liv standing opposite of him.

"Tell me something Miles." Liv. "What was it that I said about Gods and flying heroes?"

Miles limps. "I punish the bad, like you."

"And has proven my point." She said. "This is free land, I have rights for this land. This is my Creation!"

"This? This will destroy the earth, not just a city Doc, The Earth! The Earth!"

"You'll never understand. This is history in the making Kid! A new day has arrived!" She rises.

Miles cuffs his fist. "And I will stop it."

Miles flips as Liv catches him and throws him across the floating objects plains. He swings back around and kicks her in the chin. The two exchange punches. They never stopped, till Liv upper cuts Miles off the rock and falls towards the vortex. Miles hears a web and some catches him, as it was Gwen holding him, and swings him to the surface. He rests him on the rock, panting.

"You, okay?" She said

"I told you to go." He said.

"Friends stick together. Right?"

Miles sighs and glances at Liv climbing to the Control pod. "She's not stop."

"Neither will we."

Gwen offers her hand to him. Miles hesitates but took it as they both web zips to the top.

They land on the railing, in front of her Liv. She works as she types in the virus component. Miles web zip a kick in her face and pins her, But Liv kicks him over. She giggles.

"If I can't be left at peace. I guess you'll join your silly little Uncle then." She said.

The Two Spiders grit and attacks Liv, as she was blocking all their attacks. Liv gropes Gwen at the neck, as she webs her face and drops Gwen. But she was able to swing back and helps Miles with punches in her face. She rolls on the floor and rises, she wipes the blood of her nose, and grins. Miles and Gwen ready to fight again. Liv leaps in her air, as they go full on Two Spiders vs One giant mechanical octopus lady fight, as Doc was playing defenses, block the Spiders leap attack. But Miles had gadgets as he activates a saw tool and slices of Liv's arm as she only has two left. Gwen sweeps under Liv, as she loses her balance. As she assists Miles, by bending over and Miles leaps on her back and into the air. But Liv catches her with one arm and brings him to his face, and her other claw grew a saw.

"Lucky for me. I have gadgets of my own" She grins, as she was about to lung the saw at Miles's face, before—

—Gwen jumps in with an electrical cable as Liv stabs it. The two were electrified. Miles was released. He gapes.

"Gwen!"

Doc Ock and Gwen exploded away as Liv lays (rolls over to the broken ledge) on the railing and Gwen was caught by Miles. She looks as him, groaning, and saw the rips parts in her suit. He pulls her mask and was wheezing. Electricity must've passed her out. Miles looks to her and the Goober. He looks to atmosphere expanding, then runs for the goober. He sets it to self-destruct.

Error! Access Denied.

"Huh?" He sets it again.

Access Denied.

Miles throws up his arms. "Now what?"

He looks to Doc Ock. Her arms lift, then drops. Miles thought what he's about to do was insane, cause she'll never. But Miles decides he's not that type of guy, thinking everyone is the bad guy. He must reason with her. He crawls to her.

"Doctor Octavius?" He said.

Liv squints her eyes. Miles takes off his mask. "We have to shut it down. There's logic reasons."

Liv chuckles. Her arms latches to his neck squeezing them it, harder for him to breathe. "My rights. Won't. Be. Taken."

Miles chokes and wheezes. "We don't have to always save the day. We. Have rules that we break. To do what's right. You were right about that. But sometimes it's for the good of the people. We also have gifts like you. Being the smartest out of all. And were just kids who want to save a city, save that one person."

Liv raises an eyebrow, "A gift? I have a gift."

"Yes." Miles said. "Yes, you do."

"Then I'm not gonna waste it." Liv grits, squeezing his neck harder. "This is my creation. This is my dream!"

"Sometimes." Miles said. "We have to give up the things we love to fulfill our lives needs. Even our dreams. Let it go."

Liv looks to the control pod as panels begins to break off and falls into the vortex as it expands more and more. The wormhole begins to turn yellow. The World expands more. She envisions what will happen. The worm hole will destroy half the Earth's population and everything we have built, and half a trillion lives will be dead. What am I doing?

She releases Miles. "You're right." She closes her eyes and a tear fall.

"Now." Miles said. "How do we stop it?"

Liv veers to Miles. "It cannot be stopped. The worm hole is self-sustaining. And spanning."

"Think!"

"Unless." Doc Ock looks at the pod and the vortex. "The Pod. Drown it."

Miles turns, Ock grabs him. "I'll do it. Take her Body. Get outta here."

Doctor Octavius stands and walks over to the edge. She turns to Miles. She drops under the pod. Miles turns to Gwen's limping body and picks her up and saw panels falling and the worlds expanding more.

Miles leaps and swing across the canon, as This world begins to feel like a gigantic earthquake. Miles eyes Miguel at the other end.

"C'mon You two!" He said.

Miles lands on the plates as they terraform and jump like jellybeans. They reach the end of the atmosphere and they push through and onto the catwalk. They see saw Noir, Peni, and Porker. They seemed shocked to find Gwen hurt with her suit torn and burnt from the electrical shock she had with Liv.

"What happened?!" Noir said.

"She's hurt."

The Collider canons begins to rust and was about to collapse.

"C'mon!" Miguel said as he leads the way out.

Control Pod, Collider

Doc Ock's heart pumps. She reaches under the pod and uses her two arms to grab the two out of the four supports. She reels them in, as she roars, wheezing out all her strength. The pod hangs loose. She looks to the vortex and sees millions of stars and spider-webs interconnecting one another and gazes through different worlds and dimensions.

Beautiful. But I will not die a monster.

Doc Ock growls and grits as she grabs the last two pulls them. She falls with the pod into the worm hole. The worlds begin to fold into the worm hole along with the collider's canons and the worm hole goes subatomic.

And everything was white.

A/N #2: So the final week will include Chapter 39: The Farewell & Chapter 40: Vengeance as these are the final two chapters that will wrap up the story arc for our characters. But there is an Epilogue, just to leave some doors open for when I decide to come back to this storyline. But we'll see what happens with Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse 2! (The Real One) Cya next week!
