Ch 44 Day 58: The Joyess King
Hogwarts January 24th, 1996
Ritsuka was somewhere, somewhere that is bright and mysterious. "Where am I now-"
"What do you think you're doing!?" Ritsuka looks up, seeing a blonde woman with white wings in a white dress came down from the sky. "I was about to have a good time with the humans in the village when you suddenly went through with the pact!" she exclaims, outrage that her twin did it.
"Lucifer?" Ritsuka questions, seeing the Angel of Rebellion coming up to hooded figures.
The middle figure pulls down his hood, revealing grey hair, a tan complexion, and green eyes. "So finally deciding to join us, sister Samuel?" The man asked the blonde woman.
Lucifer scoffs at the mere idea of joining the Archangels. "Hell no, like I said before. I will rather be with the humans down below. I don't care that Solomon has returned his rings to father," she huffed. "I'm sure some of you agree with me, right Ralphy?" her golden eyes look over to the brown-haired man.
Raphael blinks before looking away from his older sister, not wanting to look at her. "I-I'm sorry, Samael. But I have no idea what you are talking about." He lied, not wanting to admit that he was helping out the human Tobias near the river.
Lucifer was taken aback, Rapheal never lied; ever. "Raphael, you…you lied?" Lucifer looks around at her other siblings. "Gabriel? Raguel? Suriel? Ananiel? Jerahmeel? You all signed the pact?"
The Archangels who most likely won't go along with their eldest brother have accepted his pact. They all avoided the gaze of the Lightbringer, not wanting to disappoint her more. "You see, our brothers have seen the light dear sister, unlike the ones in prison in Hell. You have a choice, join us and we will set order back to the human realm." Michael offers his hand to his twin.
"Solomon has rejected the power our father gave him, with that chaos arises in the human realm." Michael grips his palms. "We Archangels must fulfill our father's wishes, Samuel. Be the wise one, don't become like Azrael. Don't let her decision to entrust her power to a mere human waver you." he said, still offering his hand to his sister.
Lucifer scoffs, she can't believe what she was hearing from her twin's mouth. "Like I ever have your way, Michael. I will stand with the humans, even if you deem me as an enemy I swear I will protect them from your plans!" The Angel proclaims her resolve to revolt against them. "I will stop you, Michael!"
"Then you are betraying us," Michael said, raising his hand. "Brothers, let's show our sister what a shared Divinity of Archangels is like!" Michael flew upwards in the sky, the others follow his lead.
They all raise their hands, a ball of light appears in their palms. Michael smirks, feeling the power of his siblings coursing through his Divine core,
"Brothers come! We shall dismiss the evils of the world!" Michael shouted the ball of light transfer into his ball. The sphere took shape into the most powerful Divine Construct of the current era, the Flaming Sword; A Noble Phantasm that was once held by the Angel of Repentance before Michael's pact.
Lucifer's eyes widen at the Divine Construct, "T-The Flaming Sword!? How in Hell's name were you able to gain that!?" The Angel of Light demanded. "Only Uriel can wield that, father entrusted him with it!" She looks at the powder-blue Angel, emotionless as ever.
Michael smirks, seeing that he has bested his twin sister. "My contract has given me all of our brother's Divinity! Each of their abilities is mine to use thanks to my pact!" The ambitious Angel exclaims.
"Oh heavenly Father, grant us power," Michael shouted with glee, they all look at the eldest sister. Bringing down the sword on her, "Irae Angelorum!"
Lucifer saw the Noble Phantasm coming down at her, she pulled out her sword of light. The Angel tries her hardest to deflect her siblings' attack but utterly failed.
An explosion causes her to fall from the sky, her wings, her skin, being burnt to a crisp by entering Earth's atmosphere. Michael smirks, glad to be in control of his brothers. "Dear sister Samael don't think I'm not done with you yet. I shall make humanity see you as a monster, a demon, so they don't have faith in you." he smiles.
Michael sends out a telepathic wave that causes to make every human to forget about Lucifer's deeds for them. See her as a monster that betrays their father and her family. "Heh, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Ritsuka shot up from his bed in a cold sweat. He looks at the Saber, sitting in the chair near the window. "I assume you've seen my past with my brothers?" Lucifer asked, looking at the window.
"Lucifer, I-I didn't-"
"Of course you didn't know. Humans had forgotten the real me." Lucifer sighs sadly. "They depicted me as a monster. A traitor to my family, and yet I still love them." She informed her new master.
Ritsuka got out of bed, slipping on his slippers. "Is that why you becam-"
"A Beast? No, I became a Beast later on when my rebellion failed." Lucifer explains. "I was humiliated, my brother spread lies about me. Mockery and scorn from Humanity became too much for me to handle, ultimately that drove me to Beasthood. Claiming the Beast crown from the deepest, darkest depths of hell." She chuckles thinking of the time she claims her Beasthood.
"I was thinking at the time, that 'if they want a demon, then they'll have one." Lucifer quoted back on what her past self said. "I was…a depressed person back then, then everything stopped when the AD era ended, and our Divinity vanished."
"And you all went to the Reverse Side of the World." Ritsuka finished what Lucifer was saying.
Lucifer smirks at her new master, "That's right, master. No wonder you have posed as a professor in the Wizard's school." The Saber commented, she then heard someone coming from the stairs.
The Beast candidate looks at the stairs, seeing Hinako with Lanling entering the bedroom. "Ritsuka, you are it's Monday. You still have duties as a Professor here." Hinako informs her Kohai about the time.
Ritsuka groans, hating Monday mornings. "I hate Mondays," he got off the bed and stretches his arms. "So, what's the agenda today Hinako?" he asked the True Ancestor on what's the docket for today.
Lanling steps up, filling in for Mashu's place. "Today the lesson is about Charlemagne's lore in the Lore Class, afterward is a training session with the group of students." The Prince informed his master's schedule.
"Mmmm, Charlemagne. Isn't your Grandfather?" Lucifer asked, curious how that young man can be a grandfather. She thought for a moment then remembering something from the Throne. "Ah, he's a Pseudo-Servant. Acting as a host for the Heroic Spirit Charlemagne,"
Ritsuka nodded, changing out of his pajamas and into his Royal Brand Mystic Code. he puts on his leather shoes, "Well, yeah. Charlie is my grandfather, his and Charlemagne's personality matches making him a perfect candidate as his host."
"Speaking of Charlie, he's here with Astolfo and Bradamante," Hinako informed her Kohai on who's here. "Charlie said he wants to rehear his exports from a member of his family or something like that." She commented, unsure if that was correct on what he told her.
Ritsuka smirks at the True Ancestor for trying her best. "Well, I better make an impression on Charlie." He grins.
Jane walks down the hall, hearing some commotion coming from the dungeons. She has a free period before the Lore Class with her 'brother', so she decided to check it out herself.
Upon entering the hall to the dungeon, she saw Watanabe guarding the door. The Heavenly King saw Jane, standing there looking at him. "I'm sorry Jane-sama, but this area is closed off by orders of Headmaster Dumbledore at the request of Caster." He informed the red-haired girl.
"Wait, why?" Jane asked the Saber.
Watanabe merely closes his eyes, "I'm sure you're aware that Ginny was inflicted by a Curse of Madness from Caster of Eden's Noble Phantasm." He recites what occurred at the Potter's Mansion during Christmas Eve.
"A Curse of Madness?" Jane questions never heard of this type of curse. But it's reasonable, the way she was acting and attack Mashu; that's definitely someone who's inflicted by Madness. "I get what you mean, Saber," she said, getting comfortable around them; knowing who they truly are.
"As a response, Caster had both master and the Weasleys to petition a request for the Headmaster to quarantine Ginny so she can work up a remedy," Watanabe informed her with a bit more detail on the reason. "As you can see…"
"GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME YOU WHITE-HAIRED FREAK!" Ginny's muffled screams echoes in the scorched halls of the dungeon. "I SWEAR TO MERLIN, I'LL HAVE YOU REGRET STRAPPING ME TO THIS FUCKING WALL!"
Merlin's obnoxious laughter can be heard behind the door. "Hahahahaha, you can try to free yourself, Ms. Weasley. However, I enchanted this cell so nothing can escape." Her muffled laughter escapes through the door.
"Caster has this handled her way," Watanabe sighs, a bit annoyed to hear her laugh daily.
Jane could still hear Ginny screaming from the top of her lungs. She would rather see the spoiled princess doing her time inside her, but the other side doesn't. "Just how long will she be restrained inside there?" she asked.
"When we find a remedy to rid of the curse or we find Caster and defeat him." Jane turns around, seeing Flat walking to her with his hands in his pockets. "Yo, just what you think you're doing here Janey?" The Assassin smiles.
Jane blinks, seeing the blonde boy standing before her. "I-I was just curious about the rumors of the dungeon, so I came to see if they were true."
Flat nodded, understanding a young mind such as hers can develop curiosity. "I can see why trust me. I was a student under Professor Velvet's class before we've become Servants."
The blond boy looks up at the ceiling, curious about something. "Speaking of class, you should be in class soon." Flat points out,
"O-Oh, time sure flies fast…what are you doing?" Jane saw her 'brother's' Assassin offering his hand to her.
Flat gave a charming smile at the young red-haired girl. "I'm going to take you there myself. Isn't that wrong for a gentleman to offer aid to a young lady such as yourself?" He asked charmingly.
Jane blushed, looking to the Heavenly King for his advice. Watanabe shook his head at the scene playing before him. "Oh no, this is between you young people." He smiles at the complicated young love blossoming before him.
The young witch sighs, smiling softly. "Alright Flat, if you're offering." She giggles at his charms. She took his hand, letting him guide her to the next class.
Hermione walks down the hall, excited for the Lore class. Her feelings were a mix of every positive emotion that can be described. "By Merlin's beard Ron, today's going to be exciting right, Ron? I mean today we're going to learn about Charlemagne or rather Charlie's origins!" She exclaims.
"To think we've been learning about-Oh my GOD! I just realized we've met every-we met Gods…" Hermione was laughing hysterically when the revelation came to her. "We've met Gilgamesh, Enkidu, The Olympians, Skadi, and other Heroes without notice it!" She laughs like an insane woman at an asylum.
Ron covers his ears at the screaming bookworm next to him; sure he doesn't mind Hermione's joy in learning. However, there are limits on how much his precious eardrums could take. "Hermione, you're over fangirling again. You need to restrain yourself when it comes to this-hold on, isn't that Jane and Flat?"
Hermione looks forward, seeing the two walking together, and even could hear laughter coming from Jane. "Nothing is going on between us, huh?" She has a smug expression when she saw them.
Ron could only chuckle, seeing the happiness Jane is having with Flat. "I swear those two need to get together," he smirks, wishing for Jane to be happy in life than wallow in her sadness.
"Come on, let's go before we're late."
Jane smiles, walking to her regular seat in the Lore Classroom. "What you're happy about Jane?" Nevile asked, curious about her new attitude.
"Oh, it's nothing…" Jane eyes the Assassin of Grimmauld, walking past Lanling guarding the office of her 'brother.'
Neville looks confused, unsure by 'nothing' however Luna could tell. "Ohoho, no I see." She smiles.
"What? Luna, tell me." Neville said, wanting to understand.
"Alright, alright, everyone settles down." Everyone looks at Ritsuka coming down from his office with a man similar in appearance to their Professor.
"Who is he?" Lavender asked, seeing the French King.
"Is that guy his brother or something?" Parvati asked, seeing the familiar features this man has.
Conversations about the mysterious man erupt in the classroom. Many came with theories about whether this man is some kind of relative or a twin. Draco raised his hands, wondering about Charlie just like the others. "Who is that man, Potter? And why does he look like you?" He asked, trying to act like the other Purebloods.
Soon two more came out of the room. One with braided pink and a white cape, the other one has a blue and white trench coat with blonde hair tied in pigtails. "Who are they?" A Hufflepuff asked, seeing the two Paladins of Charlamagne.
"I don't know, but the pink-haired one looks cute." Goyal looks at the Rider Servant, developing a small crush on the trap.
Crabbe looks at Astolfo, also developing a small crush on him. "Yeah, she really looks good in pink." He chuckles like an idiot, obviously not noticing they were being stared at. "The other one is cute too, but that girl next to her."
Draco couldn't help but look at Bradamante. Her blonde hair, her slender legs, everything about her is screaming that she was an angel. "Y-Yeah, I rather have the blonde one." He said quietly at his lackey.
Lanling tries to hold off from bursting into laughter by the same misunderstanding that everyone fell for. "(Gao, I understand but-)"
"(I know, I know, Mei-ren. But still…I…I can't help myself….) Lanling chuckles, trying his hardest to calm himself.
Hinako sighs, but she must admit. This scene in her and Ritsuka's classroom is hilarious to observe.
Charlie steps up at the front, he could hear squealing from Hermione in the corner of her seat. "Greetings students, my name is Charlie. I'm Ritsuka's…" The Saber looks at his grandson, figuring out how to say this to the class.
Ritsuka shrugs, indicating for him to be creative on what to say. "(Just go with your gut, Charlie.)" he whispers.
Charlie then thought of something better than grandson. "I'm his blood brother," He smiles at the young adults. "Both him and I are… distant relatives back in our dimension. That's why we look alike." He smiles brightly,
Jane blinks, surprised to hear that Charlie would leave out that he is really their grandfather. But she guesses that having a grandparent that looks so young would create questions about his youth.
Ritsuka just smiles brightly, hiding his confusion about the truth. "Oh, and these here are my friends." Charlie points to Bradamante, "This here is, Lancer and over here is Rider." He introduces his two Paladins to the class.
Hermione saw the two, working out the fact he was King Charlemagne and Charles Potter. Then it hits her, two friends of Charlemagne, almost similar armor, and the happy expression. "MMMMMMMMMMM!" She covers her mouth intuitively knowing who the two are.
Bradamante inclines her head gracefully. "Hello children, as you are aware both me and Rider are master's Servants." She smiles, "We are here to listen to our master's lesson."
"Ya-hoo, my name's Rider of Black or Rider to be short." Astolfo greeted them with a cheery smile. "Both me and Lancer are excited to be here with you all, I hope you all learn something from the lesson! Oh, and those who are developing a crush on me; just letting you know. I'm male." He made a funny face, making everyone snickers before realizing he's not joking.
"WWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTT!?" Everyone's face was filled with horror. Especially Draco, Crabbe, and Goyal; their developing crushes on the Rider shattered within moments of realizing his gender.
Everyone was confused, more distraught that a man would dress up in something…questionable. Ron and Neville's eyes widen, beyond shock unable to comprehend what has just been revealed.
"H-How can…dear Merlin…" Hermione places her hands, coming to terms that the rumors were true.
Jane just stares in awe, a bold man who wears something this…unethical has a lot of guts.
Ritsuka coughs, letting the two Paladins move to the side. "Thank you for your introduction, you three." He thanked his grandfather and his Paladins. "As you can see, Rider is indeed a male. And yes, it's very much common back in our dimension where everyone is accepting to this." He could see many disgusted faces, before they could say anything his face now has a stern expression.
"I know this era; people aren't too keen on having other people dressing as a female," Ritsuka stated, defending his friend's honor. "However, I will not tolerate this type of mockery. If I hear anything about it, I'll see to it you get suspended no matter what you have." He said sternly as he looks at each student, standing with his words.
Everyone remained quiet, never heard their professor say something so serious. Other than defending Muggle-Borns from Purebloods, this was one that is definitely to be wary about.
Ritsuka looks at everyone, his eyes cold as ice. "Now if we're done with this topic, I would like to move on to our lesson." He turns around, typing on his laptop searching for the PowerPoint.
"What lesson are we going over?" Padma asked, a bit terrified from the cold expression Ritsuka just showed them.
Ritsuka turns around, smirking at the Half-Blood. "Today we're going to pick up where the Age of Faries ended, a King similar to King Arthur. King Charlemagne, the Holy Emperor of Roman Empire." An image of a bearded man appeared on screen with Joyeuse in his hands.
Hermione squeals in excitement, knowing full well that Charlemagne is right here in this very room.
Charles smirks, seeing how excited the Bushy-haired girl was from the corner.
"Now, let's begin. If you would turn to chapter nineteen, you'll find the chapter of today's topic." Ritsuka informed the students; hearing their pages turn to the requested chapter.
An image of Charlemagne's family tree appeared on the screen. However, the bottom half of the tree was smudged off or torn. "A family tree?" Jane questions, seeing the chart.
"During the middle of the sixth century, King Pepin III and his brother ruled over the Franks that spanned through France, Spain, Belgium, Germain, and the Netherlands," Ritsuka stated. "In the year of seventeen forty-two, Charlemagne was born to Pepin and his wife Bertrada of Laon with a brother named Carloman I."
An image of the family appeared on screen; an old painting of his Grandfather's Heroic Spirit and his family that no one can tell due to the age. "Is that Charlemagne's picture?"
"Kind of old, yet regal if you ask me," Daphne commented on the portrait.
Charlie smiles at the information the young ones are absorbing. "Charlemagne and Carloman inherited the Kingdom after their father died due to an illness. Three years later, Carloman died as well, leaving the Kingdom to his brother." Ritsuka continues,
"Did he assassinate his brother, Professor?" Lavender asked, hearing stories about how some Kings inherited their kingdom from those methods.
Hinako shook her head, "No, evidence found that Carloman has died the same illness that their father has contracted." The True Ancestor informs the Witch. "The Franks spoke of Charlemagne as a kind and benevolent ruler."
"Yes, with his new acquire Kingship he has set out on a campaign to Pegan territories spreading Christianity wherever he treads." Ritsuka continues, seeing a grin on Charlie's face. "The first act as King, Charlemagne sets out to defeat the Lombard Kingdoms in northern Italy." An image of Europe colored blue appears on screen, indicating Charlemagne's territory.
"After defeating the Lombards, he declares himself King of their people. Thus he sets out for the Saxons and German, achieving victory over them." The blue territory slowly expands over the country of German.
"Wow, that's something…" Jane looks over to her 'grandfather', impressed that he was able to conquer Europe back when he was alive. Well, the other part of Charlie that is.
"In the year seven seventy-seven, his name spreads across the land. Depicting him as a hero, thus Spanish Arabs approach him requesting his assistance in overthrowing their Muslim ruler in Cordova." Ritsuka continues.
"He accepts but fails to overthrow the King, retreating to France. Along the way, his army was ambushed in the mountains." Ritsuka went on with the lesson. "Even if this was a setback, Charlemagne's Kingdom expanded. Beyond his military exploits, he recruited many Heroes of his time, heroes will be known as-"
"The Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne." A Hufflepuff answered, reading the list of names of the Paladins.
Astolfo grins, liking how fast this girl was in answering. "Wow, that was fast."
Ritsuka turns around to his class, ready to ask a question. "That's right, then can anyone tell me the names of these Paladins?" Hands flew up in an instance, even Astolfo's hand was up before Bradamante gently puts it down.
The Magus points to a Cho, having her hands up first. Cho stood up, breathing in and out before answering. "The names of the Paladins are, Roland, Oliver, Bradamante, Astolfo, Samson, Anseis, Berenger, Gerin, Oton, Archbishop Turpin, Ivon, and Engeler." The Ravenclaw informed the Professor.
"That's correct." Ritsuka smiles, giving pride to the young girl. "Now, during his reign, he has commissioned a library, an academy where his knights trained. As a devoted Christan, he establishes his justice system, where clergymen, Nobles, and officials travel to villages holding hearings and upholding the law he establishes."
Hermione and Ron wrote down notes about Jane's other world grandfather; intrigued by his exploits. Many were paying attention, seeing how a simple Muggle King was able to accomplish many things on his own.
"At this time, it was a great religious and legal reforms known to historians as the Carolingian renaissance," Ritsuka explains the era of his grandfather. "Despite Charlamange's victories, the Saxons formed another uprising around seven eighties with bloody warfare until the year eight o four."
A flag of Charlemagne's Kingdom and the Saxons flag appeared on screen, the map now showed a red territory and a blue one. "So the Saxons are revolting like in King Arthur's kingdom?" Tracey asked, interested in the Saxons role.
"Yes, however instead of defeating the Saxons in war; Charlemagne assimilates them into his ever-expanding empire." This was a surprise, sure they heard of the students heard about the Saxons but never thought this King would integrate them into his realm.
"Charlemagne, wanting to enforce his rule developed a friendship with Pope Leo III." An image of Charlemagne, kneeling before the pope appeared on the screen. This cause some to be interested in the image, wondering why this was on.
"With his connections with the Holy Church, they declare King Charlemagne as the Emperor of the Romans." Jane could only snicker, never in her life would a member of her family would become an emperor of an empire.
Daphne raised her hands, wondering about something with the other countries. "Professor does the other countries disagree with the appointed Emperor?" she asked.
Hinako nodded, filling in when it comes to questions. "Yes, the appointment draws the ire of the Empress of the Byzantine empire; who believes she should be the one to be called Emperor or Empress of the Romans."
"So what happened?" A Slytherin asked, curious about what happened.
"In eight-twelve, Byzantine appointed a new emperor where they accepted the Pope's decision." Many nodded, understanding with the support of the church nothing could stand in the King's way. "With the recognition; Charlemagne has gifted the title of Holy Roman Emperor."
"That's some kind of title he got there," Neville commented.
"Yeah, I'll give anything to be an emperor." A Gryffindor jokes, impressed by the achievement Charlie did in his lifetime.
Astolfo and Bradamante patted their King's back, feeling proud to serve him. "Thank you guys,"
"Anytime, Charlie," Astolfo smirks.
Ritsuka cleared his throat, ready to continue. "Throughout his life, Charlemagne had many wives-"
"WWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTT!?" Jane, exclaims before covering her mouth in embarrassment. Everyone looks at the red-haired girl, blushing like madness. She looks at her other grandfather, thinking of the many relatives she might have in Ritsuka's world.
"Uh…okay, as I was saying; with many wives, Charlemagne has many children, eighteen to be precise." Ritsuka continues, hearing some snickering in the background.
The Magus decided to move on, ignoring the snickers. "When Charlemagne was not campaigning, he's a devoted father; spending his time with his children. He loves his children, even his daughter to the point of not letting them marry until his deathbed." Ritsuka eyes his Grandfather, awkwardly shrugging at how he was a protective father back when.
"Speak of overprotective." Lavender giggles causing many to laugh.
Ritsuka could only join in, seeing how Charlie acts when it comes to him and his family. "Yes, he is Lavender. During his years, he was succumbing to fevers in which he ignores the advice of his pediatricians insisting on living his life to the fullest."Once again, he looks at Charlie, remembering how many times he would ignore his Paladins when training in the training room.
Once again Charlie shrugs, feeling the glares of both Bradamante and Astolfo. "(Sorry)" he apologies sheepishly.
Ritsuka sighs, can't help it that his grandfather is overworking himself. "To pass the throne before he dies. He crowns his son, Louis the Pious as Emperor." He turns to the class ready to move to the next segment of Charlemagne. "As you are aware, this takes place near the end of the Age of Faries, thus he has many adventures with his Paladins in the chanson de geste."
An image of the book appeared on the screen. "This book can be found in Mundane bookstores if you're interested." Ritsuka offers the location for those who're interested, seeing much writing down the title.
"In the books describe the tales of the many exploits of Charlemagne's military campaigns," Ritsuka explains. "However these tales hold, in one instance after his duties with Arthur Pendragon; Merlin for a time serves the court of Charlemagne alike the Roundtable of Camelot before his entrapment in Avalon."
"Really? Merlin was serving Charlemagne just like King Arthur!?" Ron asked, looking at Charlie who nodded as a confirmation.
"Yes, he did for a time until he moves on after his death," Ritsuka explains briefly about Merlin's role in Charlie's court.
Hermione raised her hand, having a question about Charlemagne. "Professor, doesn't Charlemagne wield the Sword Joyeuse? And is it equal to Excalibur?" She asked them.
Ritsuka thought for a moment, "Yes, King Charlemagne did wield the sword Joyeuse; it said it was forged from the head of the Holy Lance Longinus which can show a myriad of colors depending on the day." He explains about his Grandfather's sword.
"So any more questions?" Ritsuka asked the class, already done with his lesson about Charlie. Everyone shook their heads, satisfied with the lesson. "Then for your homework tonight, I want each of you to read one of the Paladins of Charlemagne; this isn't the full copy of the chanson de geste just a few segments." He began writing the pages of the Paladin's chapters in the books.
"I expect a four-paragraph essay about what the Paladins'' deeds are by tomorrow." Ritsuka continues, give out the next assignment. "If nothing else, everyone's dismissed."
Everyone stood up, packing their belongings, and began to leave the classroom. Jane, Hermione, and Ron ran up to Charlie excitedly. "Did you really did all that Charlie? I mean you are…him after all!" Hermione asked, careful enough not to reveal his True Name.
"Did you really met the Merlin? What's he's like, is he what the lore we learned?" Ron asked the King of the Franks.
Bradamante laughs, hearing about the respect of the Magus of Flowers. "He is, he's a prankster in many ways." The Lancer smiles.
"Yeah, believe it or not, he's always getting into trouble with females," Astolfo added to his friend's comment.
"So cool, then you must be Charlie's Paladins then." Jane smiles, getting more comfortable with the Servants and Ritsuka.
"Yes, every bit is true. My dear grandson is correct." Charlie leans into their faces, "(After all, we taught him about us.)" he smiles.
In Dumbledore's office, the Order members who could make for a meeting. "So, let me get this straight, Lucifer; the Devil is a woman. A woman who sings foreign songs owns a sex club, and is willing to save humanity from the Archangels who are working alongside the Dark Wizard Francois Prelati for this Rider of Heaven." Kingsley rubs his temples, trying to comprehend what is happening in the world.
"Pretty much how it sums it up." James shrugs still confused about what is happening to them. "I'm still wrapping my head around it, but I come to terms with it. At least we have two Angels on our side."
"Raphael, the Angel of Healing." Dumbledore folded his hands, still in shock that the legendary Archangels are the ones who are their enemy. Not only that, but the Devil and a rouge Angel are the ones to depend on to save them.
Lily chuckles at the state of things. "Well, the interesting thing is that Lucifer is a girl and not a male. Huh, books can be wrong sometimes." She blinks, realizing most things aren't true in documents.
Moody stood up, "Alright, this has to be a ruse. I mean really, can we even trust the Devil to save us!?" The old man asked, harshly. "Don't you know he's-"
"She," Tonks corrected him.
"She is the embodiment of evil!?" Moody exclaims, disliking how they need to depend on a dark being such as the Devil.
Dumbledore sighs, if most of the Servants in Ritsuka's care are villains; he might be able to control her as a percussion. "Well, Lucifer was an Archangel before…and she did say she'd manifested here before the whole King-or Queen? Of Hell so…yeah, I believe we can trust her." James commented, remembering her introduction to them.
"But she's the Devil!" Moody exclaims, seeing no matter what; Lucifer is evil. The perspective about the Devil being evil incarnate is stuck in the mad man's one-track mind.
"Alister, with this new information of the enemy. Desperate times call for desperate measures." Dumbledore looks at each of his close allies, deeming this situation they're in is such a situation to make a deal with the Devil. In a literal sense. "We must take the opportunity that is before us, not just to save the Wizarding World; but all of Humanity."
The Order silently agrees, taking any chance of victory against the enemy. "I don't like it," Moody huffs, stating his feelings on this matter. "But I'll go along for the Greater Good." He agrees stubbornly.
AN: Next Chapter will be the lore of Jeanne D'Arc. Please leave a comment or Review.
