A/N: Well, this is 2628 words of story. Why not…

the night of June 29th

Willa's Point of View

The sun was shining, the birds were singing, everyone was together by a pool. Mom was obviously caught up in a make out session with dad, while I was sitting by the edge of the pool. Cristian waved over to me, "come on in" he said before pulling me into the water. I started giggling when I came back up and pushed some water over to splash Cristian, when suddenly the image changed. I was will in that moment, it reminded me of the weird thing that happened earlier that year. He was quite spooked and even more so now that he couldn't hear me.

A few moments later I knew why he was spooked, there was a shuffling. It was like the suffering that will had heard a few seconds before. He had his wand out, which I couldn't blame him for, it doesn't hurt to be cautious. Especially since neither of us could hear whomever it was and could only pinpoint where the shuffling was. He started leaving the common room, from his thoughts it seemed he wanted to find me. He was also thinking about the last time he couldn't hear me. He guessed what was happening then.

He was on the stairs when we heard a spell ripping through the air. In that moment, I had to be thankful for vampire reflexes, he was able to dodge the spell and the one that was fired afterwards. After that, whoever was casting spells stopped, probably looking for a better opening. Will put himself in a more defensible position.

The sound of another spell hit our ears, and instead of dodging, he cast protego. Surprisingly, the spell broke through his pretty powerful protego spell and hit him. Being will in a manner of speaking in that moment felt like I had just been hit by hundreds of bricks. Not pleasant. There was another spell that hit him before he blacked out.

I was still trapped in his mind so the only thing I could sense was nothing really. It was reasonably easy to say this was similar to what being under Alec's power felt like. It was about three or four minutes before he came to. The first thing he noticed was the fact he didn't have his wand, while I realized where he was it was Flamel's office! Part of me didn't want to believe he would have done something like this. At least that was before he showed his face. Will did recognize the threat for what it was and tried find his wand, of course, he found it on Flamel's person. Just great.

"Hello will. I imagine you don't exactly appreciate the wards, but they are necessary if I don't want to become vampire chow." He seemed amused at his own joke. Will tentatively reached out a hand to see how far the supposed wards went. It wasn't far, giving him just enough space to lay down in the fetal position.

"Why are you doing this?" Will asked. From what I could gleam from his mind it was both a question he wanted answered, and a distracter. So help me if he started monologuing! At least when dad played villain, he didn't waste his time with it. He didn't feel the need to tell everyone that would listen everything that would help them defeat him.

"Can't you think of why will? You're a smart boy after all. And we have been working on the potion for so long, haven't we?" The potion? Will wondered, "So what? You're going to kill me because you don't want anyone to know what you're making? Wouldn't it have been easier while I was asleep to get rid of me? Or I don't know? Obliviate me? Not have used me in the first place to help you with the potion? Just throwing out some ideas." Flamel looked a bit angry at will's tone. You go will! If I had been there or at least not in his mind at the moment. I would have started giving him more insults to tell Flamel, not that he would use them, but still.

"No will, you're thinking too small. Though obliviating you would make it infinitely easier to get away with what I have done." He paused for a moment as if considering his next words. Maybe he realized that he shouldn't be monologuing, unlikely, "You see will, I'm trying to get the last ingredient, a vampire hair and then the sorcerer's stone will be complete." Shock. Anger. Disgust. Emotions we both felt. If I had been in my right mind at that moment, I would have been thinking along the lines of 'more monologuing.'

"But that's pointless! Yesterday if you asked me for it, I might have given it to you. I don't see why you had to go through all of this." He tisked at will, "But that's not the point William. The stone needs a forcibly taken hair. It would have worked if you gave it to me." That does make more sense, and again monologuing, "And why use me? There are Thousands of vampires in the world." He laughed but not in a humorous way, almost evilly, but without the cackling bit.

"I'm not sure if you're just oblivious, or if you're saying this to be disarming. I'm not as young as I used to be, and vampires were almost impossible to take down when I was younger. I almost died in my quest for immortality last time. Now, I wouldn't be able to take one down. Regardless, you have less of that vampiric instinct that your kind seem to have. Don't think I didn't notice you reaching for your wand instead of attacking the air. Pointless perhaps, but it would have been what I would expect from your kind." Wow that felt insulting, but to those without an ounce of control or most vampires would probably have done just that. It would usually prove to be effective in that situation, but it was an example of our kinds reliance on instinct.

"Now if you don't mind." He said, sarcasm lacing his tone. He pointed his wand at will and will was readying himself to dodge whatever spell was sent at him, but I think we both realized that was partially pointless. With the small space he had to move around. He was unlikely to dodge, and it wasn't like we knew wandless magic.

The spell hit and the same feeling like being hit by one hundred bricks returned. When the stunning subsided a bit, I guessed that the spell was probably stupefy. Flamel, had the hair in hand and put it into the cauldron. Then he grabbed a random rock and placed it into the mixture. When it came out it looked like a ruby. Like the one mom found.

"Well this is complete. You know I might as well just keep you here for a little bit. It's actually quite interesting to see getting the better of a Volturi." I was thrown back into my own mind extraordinarily harshly and I took a few seconds to recover. Willa! Thank goodness! I'm guessing you were in my head again? I really didn't need to respond to that. Well that's a yes. Now we need to think of a game plan. We thought about it together.

Will was trapped, so any rescuing was left to me. The question as what I would do came up. I could go to McGonagall in hopes that she would be awake and help me get will back from Flamel. There was also the choice of going to Cristian and then going to McGonagall. Of course, that would make me feel a bit more calm about the situation, but it would also take up some time, time I didn't know if I had. Flamel was probably going to obliviate will. It was the most likely option. He couldn't exactly kill a Volturi and not expect to be found out about it. He said so himself about the whole vampires being strong thing. He may not know that some vampire had gifts, but he would be a fool to think dad, mom, Caius, or Marcus wouldn't set up a questioning line and go through everyone at the school faculty. One's mom trusted or not.

I decided to go to McGonagall. She probably would be up and about making sure everything would be ready for all the kids to leave Hogwarts; so, I got out of bed and dressed in a second flat and was out the door and in the common room in another.

Swinging the painting open. I started to get through the halls, part of me had to wonder how I was going to prove that Flamel was holding will captive. Gifts were a well-guarded secret after all. She might not even believe me if I try to explain them. I just hoped I would be able to convince her, she would either be in the teachers lounge or her office. As headmistress, I guessed her office was the more likely of the two and found myself there after a few seconds of running across Hogwarts.

When I got there, I saw the door. If the situation wasn't as serious as it was. I would have looked at the door and thought, 'The irony. A griffin, door.' Since, it was a door, and a statue of a griffin. At the same time, I realized I didn't know the password to get in.

I knew Dumbledore made his passwords sweets, but McGonagall wouldn't do that. Thankfully, she seemed like she was leaving the office. She had since the griffin started to move and there stood headmistress McGonagall. Her nostrils flared at seeing me, "Willa Volturi! What are you doing out of bed?! At this hour?! Ten points from sly-" I think she would have continued on and finished taking those points if she hadn't really looked at my face. My guess was that I looked desperate.

"Will's in danger!" Her face softened a bit with concern, but still looked stern. Shaking her head, she muttered, "Why is it always this family." And looked back at me, "What kind of trouble is he in?" I got it out rushed, "Flamel snuck into the common room and rendered will unconscious then took him to his office where he proceeded to take one of his hairs to complete the sorcerer's stone." I could only think what she thought of me right now. A student making up a tall tale? Or did she actually believe me? She sighed, "Flamel went to bed hours ago. He's a bit too old to be up right now." I was exasperated, "But I know what I saw-" she cut me off, "Calm down what do you mean by saw?" Well she either believed me at this point, or she was asking to see if I would trip up on my supposedly 'false explanation.'

"Me and will have this bond thing, we can hear what the other is thinking. I was asleep, but this thing that only started happening recently where I can almost sort of be him, where it's like looking through his eyes happened and Flamel stunned him an-" I was crying a bit by the time she stopped me, "I'll take you to Flamel's office if you're that worried, but I really don't think Flamel would do this." I was very relived actually that she believed me.

I noticed her face, she did look worried, and I wasn't going to pry on her mind. As we walked down the Flamel's office I fidgeted more and more this was another reason I shouldn't bring Cristian into this. Human paces are slow, especially if you're a vampire in a time pressed situation.

I didn't really know what Flamel was going to do or when. I only had a guess, and it was really frustrating that McGonagall couldn't move quicker. I knew that she was moving as fast as she could, but still. We finally entered the third corridor and I started to hear the heart rates of Flamel and will. What had happened recently was Flamel had taken some of the elixir of life and his heart rate had definitely grown a bit stronger.

We were finally at the door to Flamel's office and McGonagall opened the doors. I heard her gasp as she took in the scene in front of her. There really was no way for Flamel to explain this. He had a wand pointed at a student a.k.a will and looked younger by at least forty years, "Flamel explain yourself!" She thankfully wasn't going to take any chances and took out her wand subduing him before he could start explaining, "Answer me!" McGonagall looked murderous at Flamel as she removed the warding keeping will in the confines of that small space. She finally sighed, calming herself down.

The early, early, morning of June 30th

"Can you explain what happened last night?" It was an Auoror. Sadly, not Neville or ginny, but I couldn't exactly feel bad about that, after all that happened last night, I was a little bit in shock, so was will. Without delay, I started to explain how will was kidnapped by Flamel and how I knew about it. Finally, the story of how McGonagall came in and saved him. It was morning by now.

Thankfully, I did get four hours of sleep last night. Will wasn't so lucky, and he was worse off since he had been hit with two stunning spells, so he was actually being questioned in the hospital wing about what happened from his perspective.

Flamel was obviously behind hundreds of warding spells right now, but I still felt a little anxious. Like he would spring out once again. Is this what PTSD feels like? "Okay, you may leave." He motioned towards the door and I left. When I saw Cristian leaving the office I ran into his arms. Feeling absolutely overjoyed to be back in his arms.

It was early, early morning. Like a bit before sunrise, so he was obviously woken up by one of the Auoror's. Not that I minded of course. Though, it was a bit easier to be here with him. I ended up explaining to him what happened over breakfast where there were a lot of whispers about what might have happened last night.

The banners from yesterday were there too. Slytherin had won the house cup. Something the Gryffindor's had mumbled about a lot, "So how's the savoir of the school doing?" Wow, teddy never stopped, did he? "I think there are actually two teddy. And you know what? Maybe I should get a title! Like mom! The girl who saved her brother from and old guy!" I said with enthusiasm, "You know you have to tell me the story about it right?" I nodded, of course I would.

(Time Skip)

We were going back to Ginny and Neville's place. Though I thought mom would probably be on the first floo to the estate when she heard the news, "You're dam right about that." When Cristian gave him that glare of annoyance about not being able to hear what we did will continued, "About mom taking the first floo to your home when she learns about what happened." he nodded in understanding. One thing he learned about his stay in Volterra was that mom was a lot more overprotective than most people and wasn't very likely to let something like this pass by without checking up on us. Though I was sure Felix and Demetri would be there to tell her via phellytone call.

A/N: Well, this story is done… *confetti canon erupts* sorry I'm throwing a bit of party in my head for myself. I hope the ending was satisfying. Also, I will post on this story telling you when the sequel has been started. (it will be about a week from now). Read, Vote, Follow, Fav, Review, or whatever you want to do.
