Chapter 7 - On The Run

I thought I had added this chapter awhile back... Here it is anyway! :D I try to update BOTH stories on both sites as fast as I can... My imagination is the only stumbling block...

Flandre entered a small patch of the forest and released Marisa as she did so.

"You okay?"

Flandre looked at Marisa who smiled back at her. "I'm fine, Da'Ze. Thanks for coming back for me."

Marisa walked forwards and sat on the nearby tree-stump. Flandre, choosing to follow after Marisa, ended up sitting next to her.

"It's a path in the dark for you..."

Marisa nodded and sighed. "Yeah, you don't know the half of it..."

Flandre leaned and rested her head against Marisa's shoulder. "It's... It's hard for me too, ya know."

Marisa gently put an arm around Flandre's head and nodded, making her come closer to the Black/White. "Flandre."

Flandre looked up and Marisa connected their lips together. Lightning sparks felt between the pair as the Forest surged with power.

Separating the lips and hugging Flandre, Marisa whispered into her ear. "I dunno why you chose me. But you know something? I'm glad you did."

Flandre smiled and hugged Marisa back.

They were in the forest, together. They were inseparable, and that's all they cared about. Each other at this point.

Flandre reached her hand to Marisa's when they pulled apart and held her hand lightly. "We have to find somewhere we can live."

Marisa thought about this for a few minutes before whispering back to Flandre. "How about... My place? It's quite a distance from here and not nearby Margatroid's house or Hakurei's shrine - We could hide there for a while, while thinking about our next move?"

Flandre smiled with a toothy grin and giggled, making Marisa smile.

A pair of gunshots had Marisa snap her vision to the skies. "We'd best be on the move then. I can't imagine your older sister would let us go, just like that."

Flandre nodded and Marisa stood up, quickly followed by Flandre and the pair made their way further into the forest vegetation and intricacies.

Marisa felt some more power flow into her from Flandre... This... Was this...

"That's the Sun blocking power, you've got now," Flandre stated. "Seeing as you want to be, with, me. The power does it automatically."

Marisa chuckled. "That's amazing, Da'Ze."

Flandre nodded with a smile that Marisa almost melted for. "You got that right!"

Reimu looked at Remillia. "So, you're saying we hunt... And kill... Both of them?"

Alice looked to the head vampire. "But wouldn't that kill your little sister as well?"

Remillia chuckled. "Not really. See, if you kill both of them, Flandre will... How do I put this properly... Reappear, in the mansion - and Marisa Kirisame will also reappear somewhere else. Almost like a respawn ability."

Reimu sighed. "I don't want to kill them but... We might have no other choice."

Alice nodded. "Yeah. We have to find them first though."

Reimu Hakurei got out her yin-yang orbs, slowly levitating into the air. "I'll search the skies. You and Remillia should hunt the forest - See which one of us can find her first."

"I prey its you, Reimu."

"Why?"

"Because Marisa likes you... Or at least, the ORIGINAL Marisa."

Reimu felt her breath hitch. "She likes you as well Alice..."

They all saw the forest light up with power and Remillia's eyes narrowed. "That's a vampire's power..." She muttered.

Remillia knew what Flandre was doing, but, would Marisa - The Black/White ordinary former Human witch want it as badly?
