CHAPTER 34
Makino walk toward the chamber. Luckily Shanks is busy preparing for the festival or she got to hear him babbling about nonsense thing. She walk toward the window and sit a the sofa chair looking outside the window. The star shining while the moon brightly shone. A knock making her turned toward the door. She told the person to come in. Kid open the door while Sab trail him from behind. Kid grumbling while Sab laugh at him.
"Good evening, Makino." Sab bowed down with respect making Kid rolled his eyes. Makino just smile.
"Good evening to you too. Did something wrong?" Makino asked.
"Nothing just come by to visit you. I'm sorry Makino for not helping you in the preparation." Sab answered.
"Don't worry you have your own reason. I didn't mad at you. The preparation is all done. But tomorrow I want you to be there in dress not as Blue." Makino said.
"Owh... Can I skip it? I really don't like to wear that kind of dress." Sab sighed.
"What kind of dress?" Kid raise his eyebrow.
"That girly frill thingy... With ribbon... Tight..." Sab making a scary face earning a laugh from Makino.
"I know you don't like it. So, I prepare this on for you and Ann." Makino took out two box. One in blue and one in red. She give it to Sab and asking her to open the blue one.
Sab open the box. She never expect to see such beautiful kind of dress. A royal blue shoulder off with lace mermaid cut evening dress and a symbol of blue camellia flower draw from the thigh till the edge of the dress. Even it is simple but for Sab it really is the most beautiful dress she ever see.
"You like it?" Makino asked.
"I love it. This is the most beautiful dress I ever have." Sab said with amazed.
"I have the same pattern for Ann but the flower draw on it is a roses. I hope she like it." Makino added.
"She definitely love it." Sab replied happily. A green box at the table caught Sab eyes.
"I buy that one extra. It just like that one come in pair with both of your dress." Makino explained.
"Can I see it?" Sab asked. Makino nod.
Sab open the box. She took out the dress and she feel amaze. Black lace off shoulder dress with a symbol of epiphyllum oxypetalum draw in golden line at the front. The green stone at middle part of the dress making it more elegant. The dress length long till the knees. She stroke the dress. It's remind her of her sister Lu. That dress definitely suit for her. A tears run down her cheeks.
"Sab..." Makino feel worried. Sab wipe her tear up.
"Sorry it just that this dress remind me of my younger sister. She sure look beautiful in this dress. I really hope she's here with us." Sab explained.
"Maybe she run havoc all over the place just like you told me about her." Kid said. Sab smile.
"She does like to get into trouble. I hope where she is now, she will stay safe." Sab agreed.
"Well Kid, did you already told her?" Makino asked.
"No." Kid answered.
"Told me about what?" Sab puzzled.
"I'm pregnant and Kid will be soon to be uncle." Makino break the news.
"Hey you didn't tell me. Stingy." Sab pouted. Makino laughed.
"Makino, congratulation. How about a traditional wish from me?" Sab said.
"I would love to. Ann give her wish to me already." Makino said earning a surprise from Sab.
"Shall I?" Sab asked. Makino nod. Sab eyes turned into slit. Her aura feel like a berserker making Makino and Kid surprise. Kid look at her eyes with amazed. Her eyes look beautiful in his eyes. Sab take Makino hand and kneel down in front of her. She start kissing her hand.
"To the woman that soon to be a mother... This is my wish to you... A kiss from me is a symbol of honour for being a kind and loving mother"
Sab stand up and sit at Makino left. She hug her dearly making Makino feel secure.
"Let this hug be the blue flaming fire wing that protect both of you from any harm and anyone that want to manipulate you. I wish both of you healthy and safe. Loving you both Makino the Queen of Akagami Kingdom and her heir or heiress."
Sab let go af her hug. Makino already cry out. She really feel bless.
"For all the time you being through, thanks for give the child to see the world we living through."
Sab added making Makino cry harder. Sab hug her again and put her own head at Makino shoulder. Kid just look at the two silently. He never see Sab like this.
"You just like my mom. Brilliant, strong and kind. I really feel bless to have you as my family." Sab said.
"I'm the one that being bless by two beautiful lady. To have a daughter like you and Ann I can see how proud your parent are now." Makino replied. A sad reaction show on Sab face.
"I think we better go now. Makino need a rest." Kid said softly. Sab nod. She force herself to smile making Makino and Kid worried.
"If you need someone to lean on just come here. Both of you. We are family right?" Makino said making Sab surprise.
"Thanks Makino. We going now. Get some rest. I see you tomorrow." Sab wave to her and both she and Kid walk out from the chamber with two box carried by Kid.
Makino waking up in the middle of the night. She sigh when she cannot get back to sleep. She decide to get some fresh air and walk out from her bedroom. She carry with her the green box contain the dress. She decide to give it to one of the Strawhat member. A noise from the garden near the kitchen making her stop. The Strawhat guy laying on the grass with Zoro beside him. She walk toward them making both of them sit up.
"Makino, what your doing here? It's pass midnight." Zoro asked.
"I'm want to give this to one of your member but I just realize it pass midnight. What both of you doing here?" Makino replied.
"Luffy said she hungry and I need some drink. We kind of raid you kitchen." Zoro answered making Makino sweat drop. Then, she realize. She look at Luffy and widen her eyes.
"She?!" Makino yelled. Both Zoro and Luffy dumbfounded.
"You a girl?" Makino added. Luffy nod. Makino lost her word.
"I give up. So many crazy things happen today. Here I think I give this to you." Makino give the green box to Luffy. Luffy open the box. She widen her eyes.
"Are you sure you want to give this to me? It's really beautiful." Luffy amazed. Makino nod.
"Makino there one thing I haven't done to you. It's kind of family tradition." Luffy said.
"Wishing to the mother?" Makino guessed.
"How did you know?" Luffy surprised.
"Ann and Sab already do that to me. They tell me that this is Raftel family tradition." Makino answered.
"Ann... Sab... They here! Zoro! They both here! They alive!" Luffy cried.
"You know them?" Makino asked while looking at Luffy crying out in the arm of Zoro.
"Lu..." Zoro said making Luffy stop crying and look at Makino.
"They my sisters. I search for them for a long time already." Luffy explained making Makino surprise. Now she understand.
"Both of them come to the Festival tomorrow. You can meet them here." Makino said making Luffy excited.
"Zoro, I finally meet them. Shishishi... Oh Makino, I forgot. Can I do it now?" Luffy told Zoro and she suddenly turned toward Makino. Makino nod.
Luffy sit in front of Makino. Her eyes turn slit giving out the aura of Dragon making Makino and Zoro widen their eyes. Luffy held Makino hand and kiss her hand.
"This kiss is an honour for you as a lovely and caring mother. You soon will held with this hand a child of your beloved. I wish for your safety and well being."
Luffy let go of Makino hand and pull her into a hug. A feeling of safe and secure making Makino relief a little. Luffy continue.
"Let this hug be the shield as hard as the dragon scale protect both of you from any danger and harm. Love you both Makino the Queen and the child that shall be love by all."
Luffy let her go while Makino wipe her tears. Zoro smile fondly while Luffy beam at her happily.
"For all the time you being through, thanks for being a mother. Thus, the wish will come together as one and protect you always till the child born to this world."
