13. Update

Update:

Chapter 13 has already been written, but I haven't published it yet because there's something that's been bothering me for a while now. I feel like it might be best for me to write each arc at a time rather than publish chapters one by one. There are times when I want to go back and tweak things or there's a setup that could be improved in previous chapters, but I can't really retroactively go and change anything major since it's already been published. So what ends up happening is I just end up writing myself into a less than optimal direction.

I thought it'd be fine at first and I didn't want to just leave everyone hanging for however long it will take to finish all those chapters, but it's come to my attention that this might just be for the best. The 12 or so chapters thus far have been fine, but as the plot and world building expand, I'll have to be more and more careful with how I handle and juggle all these things I've built.

So when the arc is done, I'll publish the chapters. But before then, I'm afraid there'll have to be some extended waiting. Sorry guys.
