Alex POV

Mom had been acting all weird since she stopped hanging out with Gloria. At first I didn't say anything but then, she got a call from Gloria to go out for the weekend. I knew that my mom wanted to go but there was something holding her back. I didn't know what it was but it was something important.

"Mom you should go." I whispered to her as she talked to Gloria. She looked at me and then she nodded.

"Alright, Alright I'll go with you," She said. "When do we leave?" I saw a small smile forming on her lips. Is that? No I couldn't possibly be- I thought to myself. I walked up to m room and sat on my bed. Did my mom have a crush on Gloria? I laughed at the thought. Yeah right. My mom. A married woman. In love with her father's wife. The woman she used to hate so much. I laughed. Haley walked into the room.

"What's up with you dork?" She asked as she stared at me.

"Oh, nothing. Just thought of something funny." I said.

"Whatever," Haley said as she left the room. I heard my mom packing and she was smiling the whole time. In fact she didn't stop smiling until I called for her. I had never seen her so happy. Not even when she was with dad.

"Mom." She looked at me. "You alright?" I asked.

"Yeah, Yeah I'm fine." She grabbed her bag and made her way downstairs. "Make sure your siblings don't do something stupid!" She shouted. She shut the door I peeked out the window and I saw her smile at Gloria. She never smiled at anyone like she smiled at Gloria. Maybe my dad and Gloria didn't notice, but I did. She looked at her with pure love and not even for my dad did she smile like that.

"Huh." I said. Haley walked back into the room.

"What happened?" She asked as she peeked out the window with me. "What's outside?"

"Oh, Nothing." I said and turned away.

"Stop saying that! It's so annoying just tell me!" Haley whined.

"You wouldn't get it." I said.

"I know that look that you have on your dumb little face. You are judging someone. Ready to gossip. Now spillllll." Mom still hadn't driven off yet with Gloria. She was still adjusting her luggage in the back seat. Instead of getting out of the passengers seat and opening the door to the backseats to arrange her things, she reached from the front seat to the back with her ass in the air. Gloria was obviously smirking and looking over at my mom. I swear I saw her lick her lips. She was trying to be subtle but my mom obviously noticed. I looked at Haley.

"You see that?" I said gesturing the car outside.

"What?" She asked.

"Are you serious? You don't see mom and Gloria in the car?" I answered.

"Of course I see them. What about it?"

"You're kidding. You can't tell me you don't see that."

"You are gonna have to be a little bit more specific." She answered.

"Oh. OKAY," I sarcastically answered. "Do you not see mom waving her ass around in front of Gloria as Gloria licks her lips."

"Yeah I see that. But what's so important about it?"

"Maybe that mom's flirting with her dad's wife, and that she's a married woman." I said sarcastically again.

"So? You think they are gonna hook up? Think that their in love with each other?" Haley asked as she started at me. Hearing it out loud made it sound so ridiculous but I believed what I saw.

"Actually, I do."

"I wouldn't be surprised." Haley said.

"What do you mean you wouldn't be surprised?"

"Like I'm literally not surprised. I'd be surprised if they haven't hooked up yet. Mom totally has a crush on Gloria. And Gloria totally has a crush on mom," She stated looking back at the car. "They totally flirt with each other all the time. You've seen the way that they look at each other. Mom hasn't even looked at dad like that." Haley said. "Plus, it would be good for mom to have some fun with another woman this weekend."

"Need I remind you, Mom is a married, straight woman. She wouldn't want to cheat on dad." I said.

"Doesn't matter. At some point of their lives, every woman has sex with another woman. Straight or not, it happens." Haley said. "They like to try it out. "

At this point, mom and Gloria had left.

"And too be honest, there is something that makes it so much more satisfying in pleasing a woman than a man," Haley said under her voice. She didn't think I heard, but I did.

"Why are we talking about your sex life right now? "I said.

"Nevermind." She sighed and rushed out of the room. " You shouldn't get involved Alex. I'm serious. They'll figure it out just leave them alone." I guess she is right. At some point every woman hooks-up with another one. I thought to myself. But my mom wouldn't. Right? It didn't matter. If my mom and Gloria wanted to cheat with each other and tear the family apart, that's was their choices and I couldn't do anything to change that. I continued on with my day, and completely forgot about Gloria and my mom. Then at night Haley entered my room.

"Alex? You still up?" She whispered as she came closer. It was very late at night but I was still awake.

"No, I'm sleeping." I answered sarcastically.

"I think we should go to mom's hotel tomorrow." Haley said.

"Are you kidding? What happened to not getting involved? They'll figure it out? Leave them alone?"

"Well, I changed my mind. We can't have this family torn apart." Haley said.

"If mom and Gloria hook-up and mess up the family, we can't do anything to avoid it." I turned away from her as she sat on the bed.

"Come on, we'll only be gonna for a couple of hours." Haley begged.

"You can go alone. I'm not going anywhere." I said.

"If I'm there alone they'll suspect something." Haley looked down. "Please Alex come on." I sighed.

"Fine, We leave at 9:30." I said.

"Okay, see you later." Haley said as she left the room. I knew Haley was up to something but I didn't know what.
