Lavender Brown
"I don't wanna hear your excuses!" a girl with shoulder-length wavy-brown hair snapped at a tall boy with fiery-red hair.
The girl's name was Lavender Brown and she was at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, where she was confronted by her ex-boyfriend, Ron Weasley (the fiery-red haired boy). The second wizarding war ended a year-and-a-half ago, and Ron let the fame get to him, and now he was even more arrogant than he was when he started Hogwarts. It got so bad that Harry severed his friendship with Ron, this time for good. Rumour had it that Hermione had also ended her friendship with Ron permanently, even if she was in Australia. Ron stopped by the ice cream parlour because he was hungry and upon seeing Lavender, he tried to patch up their relationship with no success. Alot of people believed Lavender was fatally injured at the hands of Fenrir Greyback, but that turned out to be a decoy and when the savage werewolf attacked and bit the decoy, he tried to lap up what he believed was blood, but it turned out to be unicorn urine. That was when the decoy reverted back into a life-sized bottomless bag that had unicorn urine (which was red and almost looked like blood) in it. Lavender and the Patil twins watched the whole thing from a corridor nearby as they giggled. As it turned out, unicorn urine was a very poisonous substance, and especially deadly to werewolves when ingested. It took a few minutes for the most savage werewolf to die, as the unicorn urine made him shake so violently that he bounced around the corridors until he was six feet under.
"Come on, Lav!" Ron pleaded, giving Lavender puppy-dog eyes and pleading hands.
"No!" said Lavender firmly.
She still didn't like the way Ron broke up with her. He just sent her a note saying that it wasn't working out, instead of just discussing it in person. If Lavender was honest with herself, she would've liked to sock him in the jaw. That turned out to be unnecessary because Ron was making a scene and the passersby just gave him an odd look. Ron was oblivious to that, instead he kept giving Lavender puppy-dog eyes and pleading hands as a way of begging her to take him back.
"I promise to change for you, Lav!" Ron pleaded again.
"You need to change for yourself, Ron!" said Lavender in a matter-of-fact voice. "I've moved on and I have xero intentions of dating a guy who not only still lives with his mother, but also the manners of a two-year-old, being insensitive to others' feelings, being gluttonous, and not willing to take responsibility for his actions. Not just that, but I know you enjoy being a bachelor and I want to have a serious relationship with someone who appreciates me for me."
"Who are you dating, Lav?" asked Ron, still believing he had the right to call her Lav and that he needed to know everything about her.
"My love life is none of your business, Ron," stated Lavender. "Since we're no longer dating and haven't been since you were hospitalized in the hospital wing at Hogwarts. Only you can help yourself and decide to be a better person. Heck I won't be surprised when and if your arrogance catches up with you. We're done here and if you harass me one more bloody time, I'll alert the DMLE. Don't tempt fate, Ronald Bilius Weasley!"
Ron took a couple steps backwards in shock to be referred to by his full name. Usually he only heard that from his mother and to have his former lover use that towards him was rather shocking. The passersby watching the ordeal laughed at Ron for being so pathetic, allowing Lavender to walk away back to the Leaky Cauldron. Once she was back in, Lavender approached a table near the stairs leading up to the rooms where guests could stay. The table had a handsome man with untidy-black hair and emerald-green eyes hidden behind a pair of black-rimmed full-moon shaped spectacles. That meant that the man was Harry Potter and he stood up onto his feet once Lavender approached him. Harry and Lavender left the Leaky Cauldron and out into London, waiting at a bus stop. Harry and Lavender kissed each other on the lips with glee, as Harry put his hands on Lavender's waist while she draped her arms over the back of his neck.
"I take it you gave Ron a piece of your mind, Lav?" Harry responded after a few minutes of kissing.
"Oh I did, Harry," stated Lavender. "He was acting so pathetic that he now has to deal with everyone laughing and pointing at him. At least he doesn't know that we're dating and I wish to keep it that way."
"It will, Lav," assured Harry. "Since I no longer trust him anymore."
"I'm getting hungry!" Lavender informed Harry, just as she heard her stomach growl. "Maybe we can eat at a diner or something."
Harry nodded his head in agreement, just as he heard his stomach growling, too. Once a double-decker buss arrived, Harry allowed Lavender in first and then walked in to pay the fare for himself and his girlfriend. They decided to sit on top because it was fun to ride there. Now all Harry and Lavender had to do was think over where they wanted to eat lunch.
The End!
