(Start Prologue)
A long time ago in a Galaxy Far, Far away…
Shortly after the Battle of Orto Plutonia, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and the Clones of the 212th and 501st Legions are called to action once again on a covert mission of the highest importance.
Intercepted Separatist Intelligence has led the Republic to believe that the Separatist Leadership, including the trio of Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, and General Grievous have arranged a secret meeting with an unknown faction on a distant world near the unknown regions, far from the current front of the war.
The Republic and the Jedi Council, recognizing a unique opportunity to capture or eliminate three birds with one stone, deploy the three Jedi and their troops alongside a seven-ship Republic fleet to intercept the Separatists before they can conclude their business, and capture or eliminate all three Separatist commanders.
However, they do not know that the goals of the Republic align with the tasks of others from afar…
Upon waking from the besting the Grineer Queens during the War Within, six Tenno received a new mission from The Lotus, their mentor and mother. Alan V after being freed of his Infestation had gathered a massive amount of current and ancient-made technology and energy, and are proceeding with negotiations to sell this dragon's hoard to an unknown buyer from outside of the Origin System, escorted by five battalion's worth of machines and Corpus infantry aboard three Corpus battleships.
Equipped with their powers of the Void, their Orbiters, and their Railjack Gunship, These Tenno are tasked with eliminating the Corpus leader, destroying or recovering what supplies possible from them, and investigating into the mysterious buyer, known only to the Lotus as a being named "Tyranus".
As the Tenno prepare for their mission, the tides of war in the Galaxy will soon change...
(Start Chapter)
As two beetle-shaped Munificent-Class cruisers and their lead vessel, a hulking Providence-Class Dreadnought, sped through the Hyperspace lane, blazing a path to the edge of the unknown regions, a single figure stood on the bridge. Among the B1 Battle Droids at their posts, he stood quietly in front of the bridge.
Count Dooku, or Sith Lord Tyranus, relaxed his posture and sat down, rubbing his right thumb with his left. This journey had tired him, but it would be far more than worth it in the end.
A week ago, the Count and the leaders of the Separatist Alliance had received a message from a being known only as Alan V. of the Corpus. Alan V. had offered a massive hoard of technology unknown and far more advanced to the Separatists. All he had asked in exchange for an uncountable sum of Galactic Credits and a personal meeting with the Count to discuss possible future business endeavors.
Dooku, upon observing what Corpus technology could be capable of, had amassed the requested funds, even tapping into his own coffers, and arranged a meeting with the Corpus.
The Corpus had also given the Count a previously plotted Hyperspace Lane to use for traveling to the edge between known space and the unknown regions. They had also given the Count the necessary codes to bypass the Corpus' defense screen at their destination.
"My lord?" Came a female voice known to Count Dooku.
Count Dooku turned to see Asajj Ventress, accompanied by General Grievous and a Tactical Droid approach.
"What is it?" the Count asked, turning his head slightly.
"We should arrive at our destination in about ten minutes, my lord." Asajj said as she looked to her Master. "The Corpus leadership is expecting you, and in addition, they ask for a favor from us." Asajj added with a small scowl on her face.
"A favor?" Count Dooku asked as he knew to always expect possible betrayals should they come.
"It appears their flagship has been delayed in arriving at the rendezvous point." Grievous replied sounding a bit annoyed about this. "They request the meeting be held aboard the Dreadnought instead." He said with a raspy voice before coughing a little bit.
"Very well." Dooku replied as he looked to the two. "Tell the Corpus whatever they ask, we shall oblige. For now." Dooku said as he expected this sort of thing. If they were coming from the Unknown Regions then in all likely hood he should expect the unexpected.
As the Tactical Droid transmitted the Count's reply, Dooku dismissed Grievous and Asajj, and they departed quietly. The Count felt...cautiously optimistic about this deal. Darth Sidious had given his permission, but told the Count to be wary, as they knew nothing of the Corpus, and a betrayal could very easily send the Corpus to the other side of the war, to the Republic.
The Count had promised that he would be, and there was no further discussion. But Dooku did feel quite pleased with the potential benefits from this deal. Experimental weapons such as the Defoliator cannon, and the bioweapons lab on Naboo that the Republic knew nothing of yet were...pleasant expenditures, but the Count believed that the time had come to, as they say...provide more...measurable results in technological gains.
As the Dreadnought exited Hyperspace alongside its two escorts, a Corpus carrier vessel exited a jump not soon after that.
"Count Dooku, we have an incoming transmission from the Corpus." a Battle Droid buzzed as he looked to his CO.
"Put it through." The Count Ordered and in turn the helmeted face of Alan V. appeared on the holoscreen, and he laced his hands in a sign of pleasantry.
"Count Dooku." the Corpus Higher Up said while greeting Dooku. "My pleasure to meet you at last." He said as Dooku noted scar like violet veins on Alan V.'s neck.
"The pleasure is mine, Alan V." Dooku replied as he got through to the negotiations. "Do you have the...subject of our negotiations?" Dooku asked as he looked to Alan V.
"Indeed I do." Alan smiled as a Corpus transport vessel appeared below the carrier, escorted by two fleets of Fighter Craft. "And do you have the necessary… funds?"
"I do." Dooku sent the image of ten massive shipping containers filled with Credits and Valuables to the Corpus commander, who laughed gleefully.
"Then let us negotiate, my friend." Alan smiled in response all but giddy at the prospect of getting back on top after what the Tenno had done to him. "I look forward to meeting you...face to face." Alan said and in turn the feed ended. Following it up a Corpus shuttle exited the carrier, Count Dooku motioned to his Magna-Guard escorts, and they proceeded to the hangar deck swiftly and without a word.
(Scene Break the Republic)
At the same time Dooku began meeting with the Corpus leader Alan V. three Republic Cruisers, the famed Resolute among them, sped through the Hyperspace Lane. They were currently in hot pursuit of the Separatist ships to hopefully put a stop to this meeting with this unknown group called the Corpus. Only three days ago did the Republic intercept Dooku's message of meeting confirmation with Alan V. Two days then passed before Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, along with Padawan Ahsoka Tano, returned from Orto Plutonia.
Suffice to say, the Separatists had a head start. But despite this fact the Republic was eager to catch up and seize the unique opportunity presented to them. The opportunity to capture or eliminate the three major Separatist leaders that were supervising the deal.
The Clones of the 501st and 212th Legions, along with their Jedi Commanders, had to be briefed inwrought to the meeting site, and only now were they able to speak with each other privately.
"So, Cody, what are we up against?" Obi-Wan asked the Commander of the 212th.
"We've confirmed there are two Munificent-Class frigates and one Providence-Class ship already at the meeting site." Cody replied as Captain Rex approached and stood next to him. "We don't know if they're expecting reinforcements." Cody added as Rex then followed up with his own two cents.
"But we do know that this Corpus faction has brought a lot of their system's technology, and nearly all of it, I'd bet, is tech we've never seen before." Rex said as he showed the data he could which was all they could get.
"So what's the plan?" Ahsoka asked knowing they may very well be flying in blind.
"The plan is we intercept the deal in progress by knocking out the Separatist escort vessels first, then boarding the Dreadnought." Anakin pointed to a diagram on the holotable. "However, we don't know if there's anyone else interested in this as well. The Corpus might have enemies of their own who could interfere." Anakin said as that much was certain.
"And further complicate our mission by adding another front to this already three-way battle." Obi-Wan added. "We need to hit them hard and fast, and if we're lucky, we can capture or eliminate Dooku, Grievous, and Ventress at the same time." Obi-Wan said as Ahsoka had a question.
"So what do we do if one of the Corpus' enemies, does happen to show up?" Ahsoka asked as she looked to Anakin.
"We'll just have to hope their benevolent and be will to work with us." Obi-Wan said as he looked to the group.
"In other words we'll have to play it by ear." Anakin said as he looked to his young Padawan. "That goes for all of you." Anakin said directing that last comment to the Clone Troopers.
"Yes, sir!" The two clones responded to their Jedi Generals. In turn Cody and Rex saluted and departed, the doors opening and closing as they did. As the three Jedi strode to the bridge viewport, Obi-Wan frowned slightly, clutching his beard in a gesture of thought.
Ahsoka did bring up a good point, if the Corpus did in fact have enemies of their own then the problem will be telling friend from foe in that regard. Furthermore, the Clones were gearing up for a fight where too many of the variables in play were unknown. The Corpus' tech, weaponry, and ships were all wild cards in this, and the Jedi were not too keen on having those cards be played against them. All they could do was follow and prepare for action when the time came.
(Scene Break Later)
Not long after the ships exited from Hyperspace did the battle began. Fighters were quickly deployed. The Republic Cruisers cannons began to open fire upon the Separatist ships who returned fire in fore. When the cruisers began to deploy fighters and Gunships the battle was clearly being fought now.
As eight Republic Gunships and six V19 Torrent fighters soared through the battle area, towards the Separatist Dreadnaught's exposed starboard hangar, Ahsoka held tight to a support strap as laser fire echoed all around. The Clones standing beside her, with Captain Rex among them, were stalwart as ever, but she could sense their anxiety.
Due to the element of surprise and their heavier armament, the Venators of the Republic Navy were able to quickly knock out the Munificent-class cruisers, and as if luck would have it, one collided into the Dreadnought's starboard hangar bay, exposing it to boarding attempts.
Anakin and Obi-Wan had taken the point gunships at the lead of the flight to clear a path, and Ahsoka brought up the middle on her own Gunship as their reinforcements.
"Pilot, what's our status?" she asked over the commlink.
"We're right in the thick of it, Commander!" the Pilot replied showing the struggle in his voice. "Those damn Vulture Droids are everywhere! Landing in the hangar's going to be hard in the middle of all this!" The Pilot said trying not to get shot down.
"Good thing we've got a fighter escort." a Clone quipped in the back knowing the escort will help them big time.
"Cut the chatter and get ready." Rex snapped as the Clones retrieved and loaded their weapons. "We're going in!" Rex said as he put his helmet on and got ready for enemy insertion.
As the Gunship flight breached the hangar bay's shields, the hangar doors immediately came forward to seal the breach. As the fighters broke off, all eight gunships made it in successfully. As the three Jedi ignited their lightsabers and led the charge to the bridge area, they didn't notice something else had followed them in
(Meanwhile during all of this in the Void Origin System)
In the blinding eternity known as the Void, a single Railjack Gunship flew through the darkness. Its twin tail fins streamed out behind it, and multiple gun turrets lay positioned at the ready. Flying around it cloaked were four ships known as Orbiter.
Inscribed in the Orokin text on both sides of the Railjack was written a single word, Reach. This Railjack was equipped with some of the best components and tech salvageable to date, but weapons and engines didn't completely make this Railjack as formidable as it was.
What made it formidable, and feared was its crew. Aboard this gunship was a team of the most renowned warriors in the Origin System.
Four Tenno waited at their posts, silent with anticipation. Their gleaming forms were quiet with thought, their colored Warframes shimmering in the pale light. The Lotus, their mentor, had tasked them with interrupting a Corpus tech deal with an unknown faction from outside Origin, led by someone named "Tyranus". The Corpus had utilized old Orikin Tech that had connections to both the Tenn Zero incident as well as the Orikin's attempt at colonizing Tau before the Sentient rebelled and attacked. Their task would be to intercept both sides and stop the deal, and neutralize all hostiles. To take on a Corpus carrier and its fighter escort, along with whatever the other side was bringing to the meeting with only a single Railjack would be seen by nearly anyone as suicidal. For the Tenno, it was a textbook mission save for a few major differences.
This mission would take them outside the Origin System to places unknown. They were to go in get out and come home those were the Lotus exact orders on this regard. It was also why they brought the Orbiters so to keep the Transference link strong not wanting to test the links maximum distance to control ones Warframe.
The Leader of these Tenno, who bore the Excalibur Warframe, looked up from the Pilot's station to see the ship's Cephalon, Cy, appear. As the Tenno turned to the Cephalon's hologram, Cy's form buzzed as it spoke. "T-Minus Five minutes to arrival. Get yourselves ready for a fight, Tenno. We're going to drop into the thick of it on arrival. I would advise diverting main power to shields and weaponry." Cy said as the Chroma user nodded in response.
"Affirmative." The Tenno user of the Excalibur Warframe named Zayne said as he adjusted the Railjack's setup to mirror the Cephalon's instructions, and the Railjack's speed slowed noticeably, but it still remained in the Void Jump at an incredible speed. "Ordis any updates from you and the hive?" He asked as Ordis then spoke up.
"All Orbiters and Cephelon's are accounted for Operator ready TO SEE THE BLOODBATH for mission assistance." Ordis said as he and his fellow Cephalon controlled the Orbiters to accompany their individual Operators.
"Okay, are we all set?" Zayne asked as he looked to his Squad mates ready to move on the mark.
"All set at the left Cannon." Came the female voice of Nico and her Warframe Mag.
"All set on the left gun Turret!" Came a hot blooded voice belonging to Titus and his Warframe Rhino as he sounded ready to roll out.
"Affirmative. All set in Engineering." Came the cold and aloof voice of Rolland and his Warframe Loki.
"Understood. Small warning check your weapons and Archwings, Tenno. We may have to do some boarding ops on this mission." Zayne said as everyone was ready to move out.
"Right!" Came the three Tenno showing they were all set to rock and roll.
"Then we're all set." Zayne said and thus proceeded to deactivate the safety systems on the turrets in preparation for battle.
"One minute remaining, Tenno." Cy said as the Railjack began to decelerate, the Void flying past slowing dramatically. "Initiating combat procedures on your mark." Cy added as Zayne got to work.
As the Railjack exited the Void, the blue-green fading in an instant to black, they could see the Corpus vessels and the unknown ships facing each other. They seemed to be at ease, and there was no sign of hostility between them.
"It's too quiet." Rolland said as he knew it was never this quiet when a Railjack enters the battle. "I don't like it." He added as he looked to the battle to come.
"Stay alert." Zayne ordered as he was ready for anything. Then, in a blast of movement, three dagger-shaped vessels colored red and white appeared in the vicinity of the two fleets. They moved into attack positions and opened fire, a volley of blue beams shooting towards the non-Corpus ships.
Those ships quickly returned fire and red bolts began filling the area as well, and the Corpus vessels moved into attack positions, adding missiles and energy blasts into the fray. "Hey it's like fireworks!" Titus called out as he saw the battle play out.
"Stay focused they're doing something." Zayne said as he then zoomed in on the dagger-ships, he noticed their hulls opening to send out fighter craft and several transports to engage the lead non-Corpus vessel.
"What's the play, boss?" Nico asked ready for anything to come. Zayne thought it over as he saw the battle play out before him.
The Corpus and their partners in the deal certainly didn't like the newcomers enough to shoot them on sight. However, the Tenno knew that assuming something about your enemy led to mistakes, and mistakes could prove to be a Tenno's undoing in this fight.
Without a word, he motioned for the Tenno to take battle positions and man their stations as he gunned the engines towards the non-Corpus flagship. Whoever these beings were, they would pay restitution for dealing with the Corpus. But first...they had to make it to that flagship in one piece.
"Yeah we're doing this!" Nico called as she got ready to fire at anything Corpus on her scope.
As red laser fire streaked all around them, a lucky hit occasionally denting the Railjack's shields, Zayne gripped the handholds tighter as a squadron of pincer-winged fighters moved to intercept their vessel. The fighters opened fire on them thus opting Titus and Nico to open fire on the enemy fighters. Zayne smirked under his brow despite his body being asleep in the Orbiter as he expertly maneuvered around the Dreadnought's turret defenses. His mind wondering amusedly how they were missing so many of their shots. Their gunners weren't even leading their targets properly and were wasting ammo, according to both Cephalon's Ordis and Cy's combined analysis of the current battle.
As they got closer to the flag ship Zayne knew they had to switch out right now and thus had Cy handle things. "Cy take control Squad we're going in!" Zayne called out and thus the Tenno all understood.
They all made their way to the Sling Shot as Cy hand them aimed at the flag ship for a Slingshot warhead maneuver. "Tenno in the barrel! On my mark!" Cy called out as he kept an eye for the opening while guiding the Railjack to a position to use the Slingshot launcher to board the vessel. Soon the door opened for the Four Tenno and thus they tensed up. "GO!" Cy called out and thus the Four Tenno launched from the Slingshot into battle.
(Space)
The Three Tenno were in space as they made a beeline for the Dreadnaught. As they flew the Tenno were hit by stray shots but luckily their shields held for them. As the four Tenno streaked towards the hangar deck, several claw-winged fighters broke off to engage them. These fighters seemed bulky and almost single-minded as they opened fire, the Tenno's shields easily absorbing the incoming lasers from the enemy fighters. Zayne then maneuvered to the front, and as one approached, he easily sliced it in two using his Veritux Arch-Sword. As it flew past him, Zayne raised an eyebrow at the sight of scrap metal flying off into the abyss. He quickly banished the thought and thus focus on the mission.
"Let's go! Insert at the port side hangar!" he then ordered, and the Tenno blasted off at breakneck speed. A well-placed volley of shots from Nico's Phaedra Arch-Gun opened the energy shields protecting it, and they easily made it past the protective door's attempt to block them out. IT failed as the group managed to get in and when they got in a huge explosion resulted in it.
The robots all began to circle around the area intent on either blasting or capturing the intruders. As the smoke cleared Nico was seen using her Mag Warframe's Magnetize ability to surround the group in a protective shield. On her back was the Broken Scepter her trophy for besting the Grineer Queens. Her main arm weapon was a Arca Plasmor shotgun weapon with her side arm being the Duel Cestras.
"Oh look a welcome party." Titus said as he pulled out his primary arm the Opticor the cannon charge weapon aimed at his foes with his side arms the Twin Kohmak's as his Wolf Sledge was ready to start busting heads. "Ain't that just sweet of them?" Titus asked with a smug tone to his voice.
"What's our plan of attack?" Rolland asked as he stepped up with his weapons at the ready. His arsenal comprised of a primary arm being a Komorex a Corpus born sniper based weapon utilizing Tau tech which gave the weapon its biological appearance. His side arm was Stubba side arm which served him as well as any automatic rifle. His melee weapon was of course the Orvius a gift from Tenshin from master to students and to show his gratitude for freeing him of the Grineer Queens.
"We clear out this hanger and start making our way to the command deck, once there hold the line, and force the Corpus out of here after finding out how they even got here." Zayne said as he took out his Stahlta primary arm. Zayne being the leader was ready as his side arms were Twin Grakata's, with his melee weapon of course being the Broken War which was a constant reminder for Zayne of the Second Dream.
"Ready when you are." Nico said showing she was ready to kick ass. Zayne in turn nodded and thus getting the ok Nico brought down her shield. Once the shield was down they were getting fired upon by the robots but the three Tenno were ready for it. Roland jumped in using his Orvius using his speed to his advantage against these foes while Zayne came in with Broken War and swung the weapon about with ease while sliding on the ground. Next up Titus roared out swinging his hammer Wolf Sledge and smashing any enemy machine that dare to stand against him. Nico was spinning her staff about taking out her foes left and right easily overpowering them as they came at her.
It didn't take long for them to break through the ranks and clear out the hanger. Plus the initial explosion and busted airlock from their entry handled a great number of these odd robotic soldiers. The group gave a quick look around and in turn saw the hanger was cleared out of any enemies. Once the hanger was clear Nico approached one of the broken robots and inserted her Parazon device into its head for analyzes. She wasn't a tech wizard like Roland but she did know when and how to gather needed data. The robot in question was slim and lanky, with an upside-down V-shaped head.
"Hmm... this, "Battle Droid" is more primitive than I thought." Nico said as Roland was doing the same with another Battle Droid.
"She's right, possesses basic combat programming and limited independent thinking. It has no AI functions, and can't adapt to other forms of combat. Essentially, it follows orders and shoots things, nothing more." Roland said disconnecting from his Battle Droid as he then looked over to others. "Though they might prove useful in protecting Cetus." Roland adding knowing the Ostron couldn't always rely on the Tenno.
"Hey you're not Clones or Droids. Blast them!" Came the newly arrive Battle Droids who were now aiming at them.
Just then more laser fire was seen forcing the trio to duck and cover. They looked and saw more of these Battle Droids approaching and firing upon the three Tenno. "Well they know we're here!" Titus called out from his cover ready to fight back.
"Well sounds to me like we're not the only ones here that came with business against the Corpus and this Tyranus figure." Zayne said as the trio got there main arms ready. "Rolland!" Zayne called out and thus Rolland already knew.
"They're design to overwhelm this is probably the second wave." Rolland said and thus Nico smirked.
"Oh like our defense missions... neat." Nico said with a smirk on her face.
"Get ready to move, stay close, and don't fall behind." Zayne ordered as they each grabbed their primary weapons for combat.
"Copy that." The Tenno acknowledged and thus they got ready to move out. Zayne went for his Stahlta, Titus went for his Opticor, Nico went for her Arca Plasmor shotgun, while Rolland went for his Stubba side arm weapon.
"Go!" He called out and thus the four jumped over their cover and started sprinting torts the Droids while firing at them. They sprinted in a diamond formation with Titus in the middle, Zayne in the lead, and Nico and Rolland on either side of them. Titus had fired off his weapon to clear them a path while the others fired off their own against the enemies. The Droids didn't see it coming as the four Tenno charged in to hunt down their prey.
As they kept firing it wasn't long until Zayne saw a Super Battle Droid coming up. He jumped over it and switched to his side arms and shot it point blank range to the head. As they kept sprinting it was clear the Tenno could not be stopped as soon Destroyer Droids rolled in ready to fight the Tenno. Titus fired off his cannon once more taking out their shields and allowing the Tenno to slaughter them as they passed by. The Tenno soon felt a blast hit the ship causing them to stumble in response to it. "What was that?" Zayne asked in confusion before directing his attention over to Cy. "Have we been compromised?"
"Negative. It seems that whoever is operating the dagger-shaped ships has significantly better gunnery crew, targeting, or both, as they just hit the portside gun bay on the vessel you currently occupy. Significant damage is present, but there is no need to evacuate as of now. That may change given the course of the battle up here." Cy responded and explained sowing they were still in the clear for the time being.
"Copy keep us posted, Cy." Zayne said as he got ready for the next part.
"Affirmative, Tenno." The Cephalon responded before the call then ended.
(Meanwhile on the Command Deck)
To say Alan V was not having a good time would be an understatement. He had started out this day on such a good note. It all began when he had discovered how to travel through the Void freely between the Origin System and this new Galaxy. He managed to get into contact with a powerhouse and broker a deal with the group in question.
So here he was negotiating with the Separatists when all Hell broke loose for them. First they were attacked by the Republic who somehow learned of this deal going on no doubt trying to intervene. The Republic was able to board the ship no doubt to try and get to Dooku and his allies but as of right now he didn't have any barter with the Republic if it came down to it. Why you may ask is simple from what he overheard the ship had been boarded not only by the Republic but another group. The Tenno were onboard the ship and now he had to think of an escape plan when he looked to Dooku.
"Count Dooku we have a disturbance originating from the Hangar. Reports are in on three unknown figures taking out our security force." A droid said as Dooku and Grevious saw this on screen.
"Tenno." Alan V growled but was heard by Dooku and the others in the room.
"You know of these intruders?" Dooku asked his tone calm and neutral but with an edge of accusation against Alan.
"Yes I know of them they had been a bane to many powerhouses in the Origin System, the Corpus included." Alan said as he glared at the Tenno with spite. "I didn't think they would follow me out here." Alan said showing that Alan had another reason for this deal.
"It seems we may have more to talk about while negotiating." Dooku said as he then looked to the Droids. He was smart enough to know if these Tenno were to join with the Republic then the Separatists and his master plans would be jeopardized. And that's simply him assuming based on the tone Alan V. used which suggested that the Tenno were truly formidable. But the Tenno were not in the Origin System anymore thus he and had the 'home field advantage,' as the odds would have it here.
"Of course." Alan said as he looked to Count Dooku. "We need to remove them and these Republic shoulders as soon as possible." Alan added and thus Dooku agreed with one of the Corpus Leaders. Thus the orders was given and in turn Battle Droids, and Corpus troops began to move in on both the Tenno and the Republic Troopers.
"Seal all hatches let us show these 'Tenno,' what a superior warrior looks like." Grevious said and thus the Droids followed orders.
"Roger-Roger." The Droid said and thus got to work.
(Meanwhile back with the Tenno)
AS the Tenno continued their sprint they soon saw the doors began to seal up and thus Zayne knew who to send for this. "Titus!" Zayne ordered and thus Titus already knew while charging his weapon. AS they passed through the halls more droids came in as Titus took out his side arm while holding his primary weapon to riddle them with holes. Rolland threw his Glaive and took out multiple foes with it and even had a few turn against each other thanks to the weapons power. Nearby Nico used her Warframe's Crush ability to crush the Battle Droids as they passed by them.
Zayne then saw a larger room with more Droids coming from above. In response he jumped up while reloading and took the Droids out with his side arms while spinning in the air. Nico followed after him and switched over to her Twin Cestra's and began firing at the Droids with them. Once they landed the group looked to the security camera's and thus began firing at each and every one of them. In doing so they were basically blinding those in command of this ship while they made there way through.
(Back at the Command Deck)
"Sir we've lost them." The Battle Droid said and in turn Grevious growled and destroyed the moronic Droid in question.
Without the Security Camera's they can't hope to narrow the intruders down without getting feet on the ground. All the while Alan began to grow nervous as he knew why the Tenno where here now. Luckily he always had backup plans in case they were ever needed. Any good businessman would tell you to always cover your investments less you end up broke and dead. He just hoped it would be enough to cover his tracks after that fiasco with Deadlock Protocol back on Venus.
(Meanwhile back with the Tenno)
As the three advanced, Titus quickly took notice to a few new arrivals coming their way. "Look!" Titus called out as they that they weren't the only ship invaders on sight. There were more of the Battle Droids, several others that seemed more bulky, and armored in a black shell, and a pair of four-legged walkers equipped with a long cannon.
But what made the Tenno pause were the eight squads of white-armored soldiers. Some of them featured blue or orange paint, and command ornaments in the case of two others. They were fighting the Droids alongside two humanoid figures wearing armored robes, and a female alien with two head-tails. The three leaders wielded energy swords with a straight blade, with two being blue and one being green, in the younger one's case.
The three of them were expertly deflecting the Battle Droids' incoming fire back at their attackers, though many of the Droids' shots were inaccurate to begin with. Mason did have to admit that their leaders were quite skilled with their weapons, and used them well.
The white-armored soldiers were standing shoulder to shoulder, wielding either a carbine or a long rifle, and one of them, likely a squad leader, was using twin pistols. Their shots were significantly more accurate, and more often than not, they were landing headshots on their foes. However, the Droids seemed to have the advantage of numbers, as indicated by about five white-armored soldiers in the rear, who were either injured or dead.
"Well this is real interesting." Roland said as he saw the battle from his spot. "It seems we have a choice to make. Either support those droids, or aid the white-armored ones. And both options have unknown consequences." Roland said knowing full well they had to tread carefully with this.
"So what's the play, boss?" Nico asked as she looked ready to move if needed.
"If these Droids are aligned with Alan V's new partner then those soldiers may know who he is." Zayne said and thus they knew who to help out in this. In turn the six Tenno jumped into the fray to help out what may be Tyrannous enemies in this system.
(Meanwhile with the Republic Troopers)
The Clones were fighting off the Droids which seem to come in wave after wave upon them as per norm. They were holding the line quiet easily as laser shot after laser shot went off. But the Droids had numbers as their advantage and thus had already lost a few Clones with some others injured. The battle was being led by the Jedi who were deflecting the laser fire with their Lightsabers and redirected it back at the Droid Forces.
"They just keep coming!" Cody called out as he fired his rifle at the Droids.
"Looks like the Clankers really don't want us near this deal." Another Clone added as the laser fire continued on.
"Hold the line men!" Anakin called out trusting his troops can tackle this current challenge.
Just then gunfire was heard and thus the group looked and saw the Four Tenno charging in firing at the Droids getting them from behind. As the Tenno charged in it wasn't hard to tell the male from the females despite their current odd and peculiar designs.
"Uh did someone call for reinforcements?" A clone asked surprised to see this happening here.
"Wasn't me." Another Clone added and it was evident no one had called for backup.
"Well whoever they are they seem to be on our side." Obi-Wans aid as the Tenno were tackling the Droids and winning the current battle. They were even more shocked to see some of these Tenno displaying abilities unnatural to either organic or battle droid. Whoever they are it was clear they were here to help for the current moment.
For the Tenno operating there Warframes it was just another day on the job for their group. Titus flipped in mid-air to dodge some incoming shots, and once he landed, grabbed one of the armored droids by the midsection. Due to the overpowering strength of the Rhino Warframe, the droid was split in two. He hurled the scraps towards the Droids with a war cry, toppling them like bowling pins. Next up came Roland as he made quick work of the Droids as he was silent and quick much like his Warframe Loki. While they handled the battle Nico was proving to be deadly with her Broken Scepter Weapon changing its story from its bloody past in the Elder Grineer Queen's hands.
Next up came Zayne and his Chroma as he swung Broken War about stabbing and slicing through the Droids as they came at him. But he proved to be a powerful foe for them to face as he powered through the attacks with trained ease. He then backflipped way from his attackers and thus allowed Titus to jump up and slam his hammer down on a larger walker flattening it on the ground. Once it was destroyed Zayne walked by swung his blade to the side flicking off the coolants and steam from it. The Droids were all cleared out as the Tenno proceeded to regroup to keep moving.
"Is everyone ok here?" Zayne asked as he looked to the Clones and the Jedi.
"We had the situation under control." Anakin said as he looked to the Squad of Tenno.
"What my friend here meant to say." Obi-Wan said as he jumped into the conversation. "Is that your aid was greatly appreciated though unexpected." Obi-Wan said as he looked to the gathered group of Tenno.
"Don't get ahead of yourselves we don't know whose side your on exactly and vice versa." Roland said as he looked to the gathered group.
"Ah I see." Obi-Wan said suspecting they were after a similar prize as his group. "I'm to assume you're after the Corpus leader then?" Obi-Wan asked as he looked to the Tenno.
"Depends on you." Zayne said as he looked to the group of soldiers.
"We were tasked to apprehending the Separatist Leaders Count Dooku, General Grevious, and the Assassin Asajj Ventress." Obi-Wan said as he looked to them as Anakin was surprised Obi-Wan was telling them this. "From our own intelligence they were here striking a deal with a faction called the Corpus which you seem familiar with." Obi-Wan said and in turn Zayne nodded.
"Yes Alan V is one of the Corpus leaders, we suspect he's trying to use this deal to get back on top." Zayne said as he looked to the Jedi. "We were tasked to stop this deal and seal the gateway Alan V made." Zayne said confirming Obi-Wan's suspicion.
"Sounds like we have the same objective." Ahsoka said as she looked to the Tenno.
"For now." Zayne said to the Padawan knowing they had a job to do here. "Anyway if we want to stop this deal we need to get to the command deck." Zayne said omitting the information that involved Tyranus until they had more information here.
"Yeah gonna be hard to coordinate if we don't have names to refer to you all as." Anakin said as none of them had names to call these odd Tenno.
"Rhino." Titus said as he walked up.
"Loki." Rolland said knowing what to do as well.
"Mag." Nico responded using here Warframes names as codenames.
All eyes then fell to Zayne who was quiet during the whole exchange. "Call me Excalibur." Zayne said clearly the leader of this small squad of veteran Tenno. "But let's save the rest of introductions for later we have a job to do." Zayne said and thus they were in agreement on this.
(Back at the Command Deck)
"This is bad this is very bad." Alan said as he knew something would go horrible wrong when the Tenno got involved in his business.
"I suppose these Tenno have given you problems before?" Dooku said knowing it may come time to jump ship here.
"Yes me and every major power in the Origin System now aligned with the Tenno or their allies." Alan said as he knew he had to somewhat come clean here. "They have a nasty habit of getting involved in my enterprises more often than not." Alan added knowing he had to get out of here. "Might I suggest we continue our negotiations at a later date? It seems we need to make a quick exit." Alan said as Dooku though it over for now.
"And how would you suggest we make our escape?" Dooku asked to which Alan sinisterly smirked.
"We bring in a new party on this." Alan said as he knew one of those other factions in the Origin System would come here like moths to a fire. "All I asked that you donate one of your ships fully intended for its destruction." Alan said and thus Dooku saw what Alan was planning even without using the Force. "I'm willing to donate some of my troops as well to aid on covering our tracks if need be." Alan added and thus Dooku saw a fair trade in this.
"Very well." Dooku said and thus Alan nodded and in turn the Droids began to transfer data over to another Dreadnaught, specifically speaking Hyperspace Coordinates. What Alan was doing was simple if they wanted to escape then it was time to bring in the Grineer.
(Later in the Space Battle)
One of the Separatist Ships began to turn away from the battle and made a bee-line to escape. As the ship flew lasers were being fired upon the Separatist fleet as it this lone ship tried to make a getaway.
(Meanwhile over on the Resolute)
"Sir a Separatist ship is preparing to jump into hyperspace." A clone said from his console as Admiral Yularen looked to the Clone in acknowledgement.
"Focus fire at Dooku's ship we cannot allow this chance to escape us." Yularen ordered knowing full well this was their only chance to end this war at long last.
(Back to the Space Battle)
The battle continued as the lone Dreadnaught was now flying away from the battle. Despite the beating it had taken the only crew on board were Droids who had been given an orders before the commanding officer had abandoned ship. Thus the ship vanished into Hyperspace heading to the coordinates provided by Alan V to attract his and Dooku's means of escape via a distraction.
(Back with the boarding Groups)
The group were moving through the ship like a well-oiled machine proving they had major military training in this regard. They kept an eye on each-others six in the event of a surprise droid attack. As they made their way through the ship the Tenno were soon receiving a communication from Cy in the Railjack. "Get ready for trouble, Corpus security are onboard." Cy said and thus the Tenno stopped the Clones from advancing further.
"We have enemy hostiles coming our way, it's the Corpus." Zayne said and thus just after he said that one of the Clones were hit. The others went to cover as more laser fire was seen coming their way. From the direction of the shots Corpus enemy were coming their way. They were firing off their weapons as the Jedi got to cover with the other members of their group.
"Well if this doesn't prove sides I don't know what will." Titus said as he got to cover as well.
"Mag, Loki try and flank them Rhino and I will cover you!" Zayne called out to Rolland and Nico who both then nodded in response.
"You think that plan will work?" Ahsoka asked as she looked to the Tenno.
"We're never sure but we trust Excalibur's call." Nico said as she and Rolland began there plan.
"Ok then help them out!" Anakin ordered and the Clones obeyed.
"Yes sir!" They called out and in turn they used Zayne's odd plan. In turn Zayne and Titus ran out from their cover and began firing upon the Corpus drawing their fire. The Clones followed up and fired as well upon the Corpus also.
"They have a shielding around them!" A clone called out as they fired on the Corpus.
"Keep firing the shielding can only protect them for so long." Zayne called out firing upon their Corpus foes.
Once the fire was sufficiently drawn to them Nico and Rolland ran across the walls and to the group of Corpus. Once they got close they took out there melee weapons and made quick work of the Corpus security teams. Zayne, Titus, and Nico all made sure to take out the flying drones first while Nico with her staff took down the small walkers that got to close for comfort. Once they got through the large group continued on forward fighting their way through a combination of Droid and Corpus forces to the command deck.
As they fought on through it was becoming clear that they made a formidable force when they were united together. But for the Tenno this seemed too easy for them. They had faced the Corpus many times before and despite being a bunch of greedy dicks they never made it this easy for anyone. The reason they felt it was easy was because the Corpus would keep sending their troops at them if the alarm was sounded.
Even then if they know you're onboard their ship they will exercise caution through and be prepared to fight should they see you. So for them either A the Corpus was not prepared for this or B they weren't trying to win this. The group soon got to cover as Ahsoka sighed when things slowed down a bit. "We need to check on the escape pods!" Zayne said getting everyone's attention on him.
"What why?" Anakin asked a bit suspicious of this one.
"It's too easy right now my best guess is that there sending out their troops to stall us not stop us." Zayne said and in turn the Tenno were in agreement on this reasonable theory.
"He's right." Obi-Wan spoke up causing eyes to fall to him. "This wouldn't be the first time Dooku or Grevious escaped us by a hair." Obi-Wan said looking to Anakin.
"Can't argue with that fact." Anakin said knowing Dooku was a slippery snake for then.
"We'll split up into three groups." Zayne said knowing they had the numbers with them. "One group will head to the hanger, one will get to the escape pods, and the remainder will head to the command deck." Zayne said to which they were all in agreement on this plan. Thus they began to move out and split up to hopefully corner off their quarry.
(Scene Break out in Space)
As the battle continued with Separatist ships with Corpus allies fired upon the Republic fleet who returned fire it seems the Separatist were taking a beating while they Corpus was being prevented from escaping the battle. Despite that they all fought on as forces of the Separatist and the Corpus were read with a trick of their own in place.
It seems victory was at hand for the Republic at least until Alan V's backup plan came into play here. From a rift of some sort new ships showed up originating from the Origin System. From the ship fighters flew out and began attacking both sides as the mutated designed ships were clearly not with either side of this war.
(Back on the Resolute Bridge)
"Unknown vessels have just exited from Hyperspace." A clone called out as they all saw the newly arrived enemy crafts.
"Contact General Skywalker!" Yularen called out knowing they were in some deep trouble right now.
(Back with the infiltration group)
The group had split up as intended, The Tenno made up one group, Obi-Wan and the Clones under his command made the second, and finally Anakin with Ahsoka had gone with the 501st to make up the final group. Despite this as the Tenno made their way through the ship to the command deck the ship suddenly shook violently for all those inside. This wasn't not a normal occurrence by any means. In turn Zayne proceeded to contact Cy on this event so he may get answers.
"Cy report." Zayne ordered while Cy already had the answers being asked from the Cephalon.
"Grineer Ships have just showed up to the battle, it seems Alan V attracted them here to cover his escape." Cy said and thus the Tenno cursed themselves for this new unwelcomed turn of event. "The Grineer even brought with them a Balor Fomorian." Cy said making a bad situation 10 times worse now.
"Dammit." Zayne cursed realizing they were in some trouble now. He in turn went to the Republic open channel and with the intent to warn them. "We have a problem." Zayne said as he looked to his group while getting the Republic's attention. "It seems Alan V of the Corpus may or may not have attracted the Grineer here to cover his escape." Zayne said as he looked to the group and knew he had to tell them now.
"The worst part is that they brought with them a Balor Fomorian ship and before you ask it's a basically a super ship with more fire power then its crew knows what to do with." Zayne said and thus they knew that was a bad thing based around the fact Zayne that knows about them.
"Ok what's the play boss?" Titus asked as he looked to Zayne.
"This mission is compromised we'll have to abandon it and evacuate." Zayne said as he knew this had to be done now. "Any objections?" Zayne asked as he was expecting someone to object to this.
Before Obi-Wan could say anything the ship once more shook this time more violently then the last blast of destruction. "You make a valid argument." Obi-Wan agreed as he was smart enough to take caution to things unknown to him and those in the Galaxy. In turn Obi-Wan went to call it in knowing full well that from this day onward everything that they knew was going to change forever. "Anakin Ahsoka do you two copy?" Obi-Wan asked as he contacted the Jedi and his young Padawan through the Communicator.
"I read you master Obi-Wan." Anakin responded before Ahsoka spoke next.
"Same here." Ahsoka said as she looked to Obi-Wan.
"The situation has grown severe we need to evacuate." Obi-Wan confirmed knowing they had to leave now or be destroyed.
(Meanwhile over with Anakin)
"Let me guess more 'friends,' from out of town?" Anakin asked as he was already heard what Zayne said.
"We all need to get out before that Fomorian destroys the ship with all of us in it." Ahsoka said and in turn they were in agreement on this plan of escape.
"Head to the hanger." Zayne was heard cutting in on the communication. "We have an EVAC ship ready for this." Zayne said and thus it seems they were left with little choice on this path.
"What you didn't think we came here without a ride did you?" Nico asked as she looked to the group.
(Back with Tenno group)
"Rendezvous with us at the Hanger and be ready for extraction." Zayne said and thus the communication ended. "Cy, Ordis." Zayne began contacting the two Cephalons. "Prepare for an emergency extraction and be ready to have guests on board." Zayne said and in turn Ordis heard this.
"Extraction will be ready Operator but the Orbiters have a maximum weight to it." Ordis said and Cy then cut in on that one.
"I'll compensate for the excess." Cy said as he was currently keeping the Railjack on Autopilot with the Tenno absent.
"Good we'll meet you there." Zayne said and thus they were in agreement on this.
(Meanwhile with Anakin's group)
Anakin with Rex, and Ahsoka ran down the hall as Anakin began contacting Admiral Yularen. "Admiral Yularen do you copy?" Anakin asked as he ran with the two Tenno and the Clones.
"General Skywalker we have a situation out here." Yularen said as Anakin already knew.
"Yeah our new friends here gave us an update." Anakin said as he ran to the hanger. "Have the fleet ready to get out of here we need to get some distance between this new fleet and us." Anakin said and thus Yularen understood.
"Yes sir preparing to extract you." Yularen began but Anakin cut him off.
"Belay that just get out men to the ship and get ready to jump to hyperspace." Anakin said surprising Yularen.
"But sir how will you escape?" Yularen asked as Anakin smirked in response.
"Let's just say we have a ride." Anakin said and in turn ended the call to focus on getting to the Hanger to escape.
(Scene Break with Alan V)
Alan's plan was flawless as he was back on his ship using the Separatists to draw the Grineer over to this galaxy. With them here the Tenno will be too preoccupied dealing with their Famorian ship to care about him. And when the Grineer realized its one ship vs a group of the best Tenno in the Origin System they will be smart enough to high tale and run away. So as his ship made its escape he sent a message to Count Dooku for another negotiation attempt at a later date in a more secured location. Dooku promised to meet with him but for the time being it was as simple as a waiting game for the two factions.
For now Alan began to consolidate his losses as he gained something valuable from this. A new grand business venture for the Corpus. Furthermore seeing as how the Grineer didn't take kindly to their last contract and violently ended their agreement this will provide for the loss of income that the Grineer cutting their contract had caused for them before. Despite this set back he would call this day a win for the long term goal in his comeback among the Corpus's own higher hierarchy.
(Back with the Assault group)
They arrived at the Hanger and waited for their backup. It was clear the group had all managed to arrive at the Hanger to find it cleared of Droids. In fact the Corpus weren't here either no doubt fleeing after the Famorian had showed up. "Ok where's your ship?" Ahsoka asked and in turn the answer came made itself known.
From the access way of the ship the Orbiters flew in with the Railjack between all of them. As the Landing Crafts came for the Tenno the Railjack was the Republic Troops and three Jedi's ride to safety. "Ok everyone in the Railjack, Tenno we take the Orbiters." Zayne ordered and thus everyone got the memo.
In turn the Jedi and Clones all began to load up onto the Railjack while the Tenno kept them covered for any unsavory sort of surprised that may appear. It wasn't long until all hands were in the ships and Cy confirmed it for them. "All guests are accounted for preparing to move out." Cy said as the Tenno nodded in understanding.
"Come on." Zayne ordered and thus each of the Tenno boarded there Landing Crafts to get away to Freedom. They each ended up magnetized to the humanoid grooves on the Landing Crafts and in turn were ready for takeoff. The Orbiters flew off following after the Railjack as it flew away to safety.
(Later in Space)
As the Famorian blasted and destroyed the only remaining Dreadnaught and took down another Cruiser the Railjack with the Orbiters surrounding it similar to an escort. As they flew over to the Republic Cruisers the Orbiters turned around once the Railjack was close enough to the Republic Fleet.
(Inside the Railjack)
"What are they doing?" Anakin asked as he saw the Orbiters take a U-Turn back to the fight.
"Scaring them off." Cy spoke surprising the Jedi and Clones on board.
(Back to the space battle)
The Orbiters were flying through the laser fire as they got ready to deploy one last time. In turn the Tenno all got ready and once they got close deployed with their Archwings currently equipped. They all flew through space and began making a B-Line for the Grineer's Famorian ship. As the ship began to open fire the Tenno avoided the shots with ease as they looked to its weapons.
"Ignore the small fry and focus on that busters weapons!" Zayne said and all the Tenno acknowledged their leaders orders.
In turn they all moved in and began to fire upon the Grineer ship. As the massive fleet buster opened fire on them the Tenno avoided it with ease as being smaller they were able to avoid the ships attacks. "Last time we took one of these things on we had some major back up on our side!" Titus called out as he Zayne, Rolland, and Nico all began to open fire on the ship.
"We'll just have to make do, take out the weapons and that should scare them off!" Rolland responded as he looked to his friend.
"Even then we're drawing its fire long enough to for those guys to escape!" Zayne said as he knew Cy would ring them up once all was said and done.
In turn they began to make there runs as this was part distraction and part disarming. They needed to take out as many of its weapons as they could to give the Republic time to escape from this current mess. As they flew about the Tenno were proving to be formidable as already turrets and a few cannons were being taken out by the warriors. The Grineer must have realized they were here because they in turn saw them deploy there fighters and troops to tackle the Tenno.
Despite this the Tenno continued to fly about forcing some of them to use there Archwings melee weapons to slice their way through the fighters. These warriors chosen by the Void were proving to be strong in their own rights as they continued through the current battle. In turn they saw a larger spot began to appear and thus they had an idea.
"Scare tactic now!" Zayne ordered and thus the Tenno flew to it. The part that was appearing if they hit it enough it should scare the Grineer that they were going to enter and destroy it from the inside via there Archwings. It was a scare tactic but it should be one that works on these war mongers.
(Resolute)
"Status report!" Anakin called in as he entered the bridge.
"It seems your new friends are disabling that monstrosities weapons." Yularen said as he saw the battle currently taking place.
"It's more than that." Obi-Wan said as he realized what was happening. "There trying to buy us time or scare them off." Obi-Wan said as he suspected that these Tenno must have taken down a Fomorian before at some point.
"Anyway we can offer them aid!?" Anakin called out as Obi-Wan had to disagree with the Jedi Knight.
"Anakin let's not do something reckless we know nothing about this thing, they do we need to conserve our power and get ready to depart." Obi-Wan said but just before he did Ahsoka saw something taking place.
"Uh sorry to interrupt but look." Ahsoka said pointing to the scene before them.
(Meanwhile back with the space Battle)
The Tenno eventually opened the path way and in turn the Grineer saw this and looked to be in a panic. No doubt nearly losing their last Fomorian got them into a scare of possibly losing it for real. They in turn all retreated back to their ship which was beginning to make a U-Turn through the Void via the provided Coordinates they pilfered off the ship that attacked them. As the Grineer ship left via a Void Rift of sorts the Tenno flew back to their Landing Crafts which flew in to extract them. As the Tenno boarded their Landing Crafts the ships all flew off to the Republic Cruiser that despite taking a beating would be able to continue the flight.
(With Zayne)
As Zayne was on the Navigation console in a mediated state via his Warframe he used Transference. In the Transference chamber Zayne wearing his Zariman suit with the hood up covering his face. As he stepped out he seemed short as opposed to his Warframe. To this Galaxy they were currently in it would be… alarming but for him and the other Tenno it was more of a lucid dream. As he stepped out he then heard Ordis speak catching his attention.
"Operator I'm receiving a priority message from the Lotus. She must have sent it using Cephalon Simaris and Suda to connect to Cephalon Cy to make a stable connection. Zayne then nodded to the Cephalon and allowed him to patch it through.
"Tenno's I wish I was contacting you under better circumstances but we have a situation." The Lotus spoke but Zayne nodded.
"I know Alan V got away and the Grineer have gotten here." Zayne said to which the Lotus knew as much.
"It's much worse than that." The Lotus said to which Zayne paid attention growing worried as the result of it.
(Scene Break Resolute)
After the battle the Resolute stayed within the area as to help the Tenno repair thee ships as best they could. They were surprised that the Landing Crafts had a self-repair system as did the Railjack. Once the repairs were done the group would be on their way back to the Origins System. At least that was the plan until the Tenno approached the Jedi and Yularen.
"We have a problem." Zayne said back using his Warframe Excalibur with the others in their own Warframes.
"What sort of problem?" Obi-Wan asked and in turn Zayne took out a device of sorts.
"It would be best if she explains it." Zayne said and thus used his Phazon to jack into the holo tables system. Once he did so the communication line activated and thus the Lotus appeared on the screen.
"Wow who's she?" Ahsoka asked as she looked to the Lotus in awe. Anakin was on the same boat as Ahsoka but for a different reason. The way she carried herself was cold and aloof but the aura she gave off, by the Force it was like the Aura of a mother and her love for her children. The last time he felt this sort of thing was with his own mother on Tattooine many years ago.
"Hello I am the one they call The Lotus I am the prime custodian of all Tenno." The Lotus said as from what Obi-Wan heard and how she carried herself as well as her aura The Lotus despite claiming to be the Tenno's Custodian saw these warriors as more than just warriors. For some odd reason she saw them as her children but anything beyond that even through the Force he could not see clearly.
"A pleasure to meet you madam." Obi-Wan greeted in a gentleman like manner to her. "You're… Tenno have been a great help to us today, but there leader Chroma said there was a problem." Obi-Wan said and thus the Lotus nodded.
"Yes the ship belongs to one of the factions of the Origin System the home of the Tenno, Corpus, and Grineer. That ship was a Famorian a Grineer super ship capable of decimating fleets with ease." The Lotus said as they all heard this. "From the looks of it the ship was not fully repaired after my Tenno had decimated it but even then the Grineer would not have accidentally arrived in your Galaxy like that." The Lotus said as she looked to the group around her despite her helmet obscuring her eyes from them and with it her full identity of the Lotus.
"I had dispatched another group of Tenno when this had happened and from there it didn't take long to learn what happened." The Lotus said as she looked to the gathered warriors of the Republic. "That Grineer had the coordinates to come here and no doubt have more thanks to the Separatist ship they had destroyed." The Lotus said as she then looked to the surprised group.
"Our intentions at the time was to keep your war and our wars separate but now I fear they may very well become one in the same soon." The Lotus spoke as this was troubling and from the looks of it the Grineer had no intentions of siding with the Republic despite hating the Corpus so much.
"So I am to assume Alan V has already send the data of our Galaxy to the rest of his faction and the Grineer had done the same amongst themselves." Obi-Wan said as this was most troubling for them all indeed.
"Yes." The Lotus said as she had opted to omit the Infestation, the Sentients, and the Orikin as she hoped to contain the damage to just the Grineer and the Corpus for the time being. "If the Corpus has opted to side with the Separatists then who knows that the Grineer will do when more eventually arrive." The Lotus spoke as she then looked to the group. "If I may… I wish to offer you all aid to try and contain as much of the damage as we possibly can." The Lotus said knowing this was a huge risk she was taking which the Jedi sensed in that regard also.
"Madam while I do appreciate the offer it's not my decision alone, you would need to bring this up with the Senate as well." Obi-Wan said but he was all for having more allies against the Separatists. Allies were very much needed now more than ever seeing as Dooku may still have plans to join forces with the Corpus faction.
"I cannot appear in person I need to ensure the Origin System is secured and my Tenno can handle my brief absence for these talks to occur." The Lotus said showing she was concerned for her home as well as her Tenno.
"I'm not suggesting you leave your people for this Lotus, I'm simply suggesting you send an ambassador or we go to you to negotiate." Obi-Wan said as Anakin was surprised that Obi-Wan was basically trying to talk the Lotus to have the Origin System join the Republic.
Clearly the Lotus saw this and in turn opted to somewhat play along with the Jedi. "At the moment the Origin System doesn't have much of a structured governing body. The Tenno have their own struggles to keep what territory we have away from the Grineer and Corpus despite them fighting amongst each other." The Lotus said as she looked to Obi-Wan.
"It's all well madam but as I said your Tenno had provided us aid without any thoughts of reward. I am sure they are honor bound to do so but it does not sit right with me to allow their deeds go unrewarded." Obi-Wan said as the Lotus was considering it though that was hard to tell as is.
"I will… consider this enough to meet with an ambassador. But as it stands if we are to work together at least you should know one thing about my Tenno." The Lotus said as she then turned to the Tenno and nodded to them.
With a nod of response the six Tenno one by one performed Transference each exiting there Warframes due to it. Zayne was the first to exit still dressed in his Zariman suit. Next up was Titus who was currently in his Smelter Armor being the group's mechanic next to Nico. Rolland was next as he was in his Outrider Armor (VS) which only showed his eyes at the moment. Nico was next in her Kopra suit as hers had a skirt part to it.
Then one by one each of them removed their helmets or undid there hoods putting the nail on their surprise at their saviors. Zayne was a young man with duel colored messy hair of ebony and crimson, he had what looked like markings on the right side of his face and ear piercing on his ears. Titus had a slicked back Mohawk type of blond hair but his tan skinned showed he wasn't in his Warframe 24/7. Rolland was pale white no doubt not one to go out very often but not Albino either. He had shaved head but his demeanor despite how he looked was calm and collected. Around his eyes he had similar marks but it only showed better how much of a silent one he was though some would compare it to Darth Bane if they looked real hard enough. Finally Nico the last to exit her Warframe was the only girl in the group. She had short hair that was crimson red and tipped with silver. She had small markings around her face and glasses of an odd design over her eyes and ear piercings on her left ear.
But it wasn't how they came out of the Warframes that surprised them it was what they came out as. Let it be known Ahsoka may be young for a Padawan Learner but after seeing what the Tenno did with the Warframes many would not exactly approve of such things. In the end it was Obi-Wan who voiced his shock and concern when he saw the Tenno's true selves separated from the Warframes. "Younglings?!" Obi-Wan nearly shouted when he saw that the Tenno who utilized the Warframes were in fact all children around Ahsoka's age at best and the age of the younglings back at the temple at worse.
