Chapter 4 Rise of the King (Start)

"Long live the King." Godzilla King of the Monsters

We see within one of the rooms in the Black Knights' base of operations, Alex resting from long days and was getting up for a new day of building the group back up. He was about to get up but was stopped as he felt some kind of weight on his chest and warmth which made him sigh a bit on seeing who was in his bed again.

Euphemia was sleepy peaceful on Alex's bed and cuddling to the white-haired teen.

This wasn't new to the teen as the former princess would have some nightmares and horror flashes which she had to sleep next to the white-haired teen to gain comfort.

Alex had allowed it as he wants to Euphemia through what she has been through and be there for her while having spark into her. He will admit that the pink-haired girl was amazing in both looks and personality which is becoming something so much more. But he had to keep it as friends for time being as he wasn't sure if the former princess has feelings for him. That part is very true and we will see it soon down the line.

"Euphy, it's time to wake up," Alex lightly said.

Euphemia started to open her eyes and saw that she was in Alex's bed again.

"Good morning Alex. Time to wake already?" Euphemia asked as she wakes up.

"Yeah, it is," Alex said, wanting to go back to sleep and stay with Euphemia just a bit longer but has the responsibility as the leader of the Black Knights and need to get a good amount of work in.

Not much rest for our rebel but it is what it is and anyway.

"What do you have to do today?" Euphemia asked.

"Not much. I will have to have meetings and make sure everything is in order before our next course of action," Alex replied.

"And what's our next course of action?" The former princess asked.

"You will have to find out in our meeting," The leader of the Black Knights simply said.

Euphemia took that answer and will have to find out during the meeting while something else came to her, something from a few days ago, and the request was almost done.

"Would you be free sometime this afternoon?" Euphemia asked.

"Most likely as the morning meeting won't take so long. Why?" Alex asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Well, it's better I show you after the meeting," Euphemia said, wanting to keep the Gundam Project a surprise for the white-haired teen to use.

"Sounds like a plan," Alex said while wondering what the former princess has in mind and he was in for surprise indeed.

Time Skip

The meetings were the same and what the plan that Alex thought of. He knows that the Black Knights know are weak from the war in Japan but this brings out the idea of rebuilding and gaining more allies to help in the battles against Britannia. The EU and Chinese Federation are possible allies but the federation not now as a good number of civil wars are going in to remove the old fools in power as they are corrupted as they come. The EU is a strong possible idea for an alliance in which everyone in the meeting agree and hopes to get connected to them sooner. Now they wait and we see our former princess in Alex/Zero's office.

Euphemia was looking at more of Alex's pictures of these monsters he told her earlier and how she requested to base off for two Gundams being made. She saw a giant reptilian bird, another of a giant turtle (Revenge of Iris version), a giant ape, the other one scared her as it looked like the devil in monster form and the last one was a reptilian lizard with spiked spines on its back while breathing blue flames out of its mouth.

"I still see you are still looking at the pictures?" Alex asked as he came back to his office and closed the door.

"Yes, I am but who are they?" Euphemia asked, not seeing them before with Ghidorah and Mothra.

"The giant bird is Rodan King of the Sky, the turtle is Gamera the Guardian of the Universe & Atlantis, the ape is King Kong protector of Skull Island, the devil monster is Destoroyah the Destroyer of all Life, and the last one, the giant lizard. Someone that is a good friend of mine who admires the most," Alex answered.

Euphemia then notices a small smile on Alex's face which he remembered an old friend.

"What was his name?" Euphemia asked.

"His name is Joseph who happens to live in Eup-Britannia, somewhere in that area. He names this monster The King of the Monsters like Mothra is the Queen of the Monsters," Alex replied.

Alex wonders if his childhood friend was still alive in Eup-Britannia as he had been hearing rumors about a rebellion rising in the EU area and other parts due to the Black Rebellion. To Britannia, it fails but to everyone, it sparked a rebellion and hope for everyone to rise up. But anyway.

"His Japanese name is Gojira, but he gave it another name in English," He said as he walks to his desk to get a better picture of the King of the Monsters for Euphie to see better.

"His name is...Godzilla."

Soon enough a new king shall rise and take the title of the golden ruler for all to see very soon.
