Nighttime with the Black Knight at a Bar
"Oh man, this feels so boring…" Kagura exclaimed as he just finished another paperwork on his desk.
"How come I have to suffer through this kind of work all day when I should be enjoying such a beautiful day outside with the hot ladies out there?" Kagura asked complaining.
"Because you have a big responsibility of helping Empress Homura to keep the kingdom and the Control Organization together." A young man reminded his boss.
"I know, I know, but I think she could have ease up on the papers she is sending me. I'm sure you would like to take a break too, Hibiki." Kagura said.
Hibiki is a young man of Asian descent with small, delicate, and feminine features, short purplish black hair styled bowl cut that reaches his cheekbones and brown eyes and stands only a few inches shorter than Kagura. He wears a standard Control Organization uniform, with a tight-fitting jacket. The uniform consists of a small red tie over the standard blue jacket with yellow trim, accompanied by white gloves.
"Perhaps, but I always focus on the task at hand and it's best you do the same, Kagura." Hibiki said.
"Sheesh, you need to lighten up every once and a while, try to make yourself feel young again and live life to the fullest." Kagura advised his second-in-command.
"Like you with going after women without any regard whatsoever." Hibiki stated.
"Hey now, you're making it sound like I'm a complete pervert!" Kagura angered a little.
"You said it, not me." Hibiki countered.
Kagura didn't like how he is getting lectured by his own man who is one rank below his and making it sound like he's a creep, but he is just a kind gentleman who would help any woman in need for comfort and just wants to show them he can be a good man even though he is still single and hasn't found the right woman for him yet. But even so, he would still help out with keeping the peace of the city he and the others fought so hard for against the evil woman, all the criminals who sided with her are either locked up or hiding to bide their time.
"Hey Hibiki, did we have any word about Carl yet?" Kagura asked as he looks out the window of his office.
"No sir, there has been no sigh of word of young Carl's movements, not since the Red Devil was kidnapped by the boy and Bullet's short encounter with him weeks ago." Hibiki answered.
"Damn, something bad is going to happen. I don't know what it is, I can just feel it in my gut, and I hate to see what may happen if we have to face Carl in battle." Kagura clutched his fist.
"You are concern for the boy, yes?" Hibiki asked.
"Yeah, Carl wasn't always the crazy mad-scientist type. He was kind and gentle while also brilliant with that big brain of his, he also had deep hatred for his old man for the crazy bullshit things he's done in the past." Kagura explained.
"And now the son is following the footsteps of the father." Hibiki stated.
"Yep, not sure what's going on in that head of his and I sure hope that it's not too late to save him from himself." Kagura said.
"Only time will tell, Sir Kagura. Now, I believe you still have about two more documents that needs your attention." Hibiki placed the two stacks of papers on the desk.
"Way to kill the moment…" Kagura exclaimed.
(With Jigoku)
Jigoku is holding his sword with both hands as he is several feet across from his combat master Jubei on the training field they are using right now, the Wolverine Beastkin is panting fast, and his breathing is feeling heavy from the extreme training today doing sparring sessions with Jubei.
"Hmm, not bad with the form though your speed could still use some work when attacking. Remember, you got be able to use both speed and strength at the same time to truly move your body unlike anything you have before." Jubei mentioned.
"I know, I know, you keep telling me that for two days already! Just shut the fuck up and let's fight!" Jigoku charged at Jubei.
Jigoku swing his sword down grinding the blade against the ground and swings it up high as Jubei move his body to the left avoiding the large white sword easily, spin his body twice before striking his student with a kick to the stomach sending Jigoku back. The Bloodedge boy quickly recovers to block a fast attack from Jubei's swords as he starts striking with fast and fierce combos, narrowly blocking and parry each attack is troubling for Jigoku as he couldn't find any openings. He decided to make a risky move and thrust his left arm forward to grab Jubei's arm to throw him off, but the master cat saw this coming and move his arm away.
"Nice try kid, but you're gonna have to do better than that." Jubei grinned as he jumps away, but then he felt something pulling him.
"Huh?" Jubei confused until he looks down seeing that Jigoku have grabbed one of his tails.
"Yeah, I know I wouldn't be able to catch you by the arm, so I thought about getting to your tail instead." Jigoku smirked, tightening his grip on the tail.
"Clever brat." Jubei smirked back before being throw hard.
"Here I come, you old bastard!" Jigoku shouted and he sprint to his teacher.
Jigoku jumps high and twirl his body around with his sword outward like a human buzzsaw as Jubei quickly hold out his two swords blocking the attack, he pushes the kid back and they start clashing their blades at each other. Jubei perform a limbo dodge move to get in close for an uppercut high-kick move and a rapid barrage kicking attack sending him flying, Jigoku recovers and regain his footing before unleashing his Chaos Claw move at him, red-black energy slashes from his fingers which Jubei slices past them. Jubei blitzes past his student as he slashes attacks everywhere while the latter is doing his best to block most of them, but he still got some scratches and cuts on his body.
"Alright, you damn old cat, you're asking for it now!" Jigoku growled as his body glows of his anger.
"Blazblue!" Jigoku unleased his full power to fight the old cat man.
"So, you want to take this seriously? Alright then, come and get me." Jubei taunted.
Jigoku let out a roar before charging in swinging his sword wildly as Jubei parries them fast and block one attack that pushes him back twelve feet, Jubei quickly saw him blitz straight at him with his sword thrust for the head as the short cat man jumps over the boy. Jubei swing both his swords to the right and Jigoku blocks the attack without even looking, then his right leg moves backward for a backward kick attack though Jubei jump backward faster before the attack could land on him.
"(Hmm, it looks like his body is starting to move on instinct to protect him. Very interesting, he's fighting like he's almost a wild animal.)" Jubei thought commented.
"Very impressive, I think you'll be worth training than Jin." Jubei complimented.
"I'll show you something impressive." Jigoku growled.
Jigoku charged at Jubei again to swing his sword against Jubei who just stood there blocking the attack with his two swords, causing a powerful shockwave to erupt from the clash and the two were pushed away from each other.
Jigoku was about to run at his master again, only for him to have already be in front of the boy and blitz past with his swords slowly being put back on their sheaths, then Jigoku screams in pain as the superfast attacks kicks in forcing him to power down from his Blazblue and fall.
"I think that'll be enough for today, kid. Get yourself clean up in the shower." Jubei ordered as he walks away.
"Fuck, that old cat is so strong…" Jigoku groaned in pain.
(Later)
Jiogku and Tao are having dinner together with some of the little kittens who came over to play a little and Torakaka have also join in.
"Hey, Mister Good Wolvy, play with us!" Pochikaka jumped onto Jigoku's arm causing him to flinch in pain.
"Hey, easy there, kid. I'm still hurt from the training that old cat put me through!" Jigoku said.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Pochikaka apologized.
"It looks like you are coming a long way from the training, Master Jubei must see great potential in you." Torakaka believed.
"Yeah right, more like using me to be his next scratching pose." Jigoku rolled his eyes before eating his cooked fish.
"Master Jubei may not look like it, but he does appear to be enjoying his time training a young student like you knowing those his teaching will be pass on before his time." Torakaka pointed out.
"Well, I'll admit it isn't so bad having someone like him training me and it's nice to have him around to be strong than me. Don't tell him I said that." Jigoku glared at Torakaka and Tao.
"Said what?" Tao asked as she wasn't listening.
"The old cat's training methods are brutal and a pain in the ass, but they do get the job done at the end." Jigoku said.
"Job? Oh, that reminds me, I was hoping you could do a little errand for me." Torakaka said.
"Seriously, at this late?" Jigoku asked.
"I know this is sudden and I would have asked you sooner if you weren't training with Master Jubei so long and I could have done this myself since I'm the one who usually gets it, but I got sidetracked and now I need you to this as this something that needs to be taken care of right now." Torakaka pleaded.
"Well, I could use the excuse to stay up late." Jigoku said.
"Glad to hear it, I want you to go to Ikagura to this local bar to pick up a medicine for the chef, give the bartender this paper with the Kaka tribe symbol and he'll give you the medicine." Torakaka handed the paper to Jigoku.
"Okay, but why a bar for medicine?" Jigoku asked.
"Because this bartender and the chef have known each since they were kids, plus she always trusts him to get what she needs." Torakaka explained.
"Okay, then I'm off." Jigoku got up from his chair and walk away.
"Bring back some snacks too!" Tao smiled.
"I'll see what I can do." Jigoku chuckled before kissing Tao on the lips before leaving the house.
(Bar)
"Okay, this looks like the place." Jigoku said looking up at the sign of the bar that says, "Cat Night Meow" and walks inside.
Jigoku looks around seeing what except to be a bar fill with some adults like some men and some women hanging out, having some drinks together and being drunken stupid, and some are doing their own shady business which he doesn't cares as he only came for the medicine and probably a snack or two for Tao.
"Hello there, don't get many younger folks coming by here these nights." An old man greeted.
"Never been to any bar, much less care about one." Jigoku said as he sat on a chair.
"Are you by any chance this Bloodedge fellow I heard about beating up some thugs?" The bartender asked.
"Yes, and I'm here to pick up something important." Jigoku showed the paper with the Kaka symbol on it.
"Aw, must be that time of the month again. Give me a minute to get the medicine, why don't you have a drink while you're here." The bartender poured a soda drink into a cup for Jigoku.
"Thanks." Jigoku accepted the drink and took a sip.
"Hey, mind if I join you?" A man asked.
"I'm only here for an errand, buzz off." Jigoku said, not interested in a social chat right now.
"Come on, don't be a downer. How else would I get to know Jigoku the Bloodedge?" The man said revealing himself to be Kagura.
"Feels like I'm getting my own fan club." Jigoku chuckled.
"Not exactly, but I like what you've been doing to the thugs and other bad men on the street, make things for the other officers easier to capture though I don't think others like having a kid doing their job." Kagura stated.
"Excuse me, one round of the special drink, please." Kagura asked another worker.
"I don't give a damn of what they say about me, I'm going live my life the way I want and not what other wants." Jigoku said.
"Is that right, sounds to me like you've been through some shit." Kagura guessed.
"You could say that it's like I was in Hell for years until I finally managed to crawl my way back up and became stronger than before." Jigoku clutched his fist.
"But things are looking better for you, like having that cutie Tao as your girlfriend." Kagura mentioned.
"Where did you hear that?" Jigoku asked as he wasn't expecting someone to know as he doesn't brag about his relationship with Tao.
"From my friends, Makoto and Tsubaki. We got way back." Kagura smirked.
"I have to say, it's pretty impressive to find someone who can tolerate Tao when she comes to being stupid in the head." Kagura chuckled.
Jigoku's anger bolted up and threw a punch to the face that Kagura easily caught with his hand as a shockwave is blown from the impact.
"Let get one thing straight here, bub! I don't take kindly to idiots who care make fun of my number 1 girl and lives to tell about it!" Jigoku growled.
"Easily there, kid! Easy, I promise I only said that because I wanted to test how serious you are, and you passed!" Kagura explained with a thumb up.
Jigoku kept trying to push his fist further though discover this man's strength feels like Jubei's as he couldn't move the hand back even by a centimeter, so he withdraw his fist thinking this man isn't a bad guy but that doesn't mean he won't hurt him if he tries anything to Tao and Litchi.
"The only advise I can give you is that treat your girl with all the love you can give until the day you die." Kagura advised.
"I intend to, to both Tao and Litchi." Jigoku promised.
"That's great to hear... Wait, Litchi! You mean the hot, busty nurse in the small clinic! You're also dating her too!" Kagura gasped.
"That's right, you could say I'm starting up my own harem and I'm thinking of including the cute squirrel girl, Makoto." Jigoku bragged with a smirk.
"Oh man, I didn't think kids today would be this deep into romance. I'm so jealous…" Kagura admitted as he drank his beer.
"I mean seriously, I'm the Black Knight and Right-Hand of Empress Homura yet I'm still single… When is love going to happen to me?" Kagura asked crying a little.
"Heck if I know, maybe it's because you're a weird pervert or something." Jigoku shrugged.
"I am NOT pervert! I am a gentleman who is willing to put his life on the line for beautiful women and bed with them too!" Kagura proclaimed.
"That just proves my point." Jigoku said sweatdrop."
"Hey Jigoku, I got the medicine for the chef." The bartender came back and handed the medicine to the young teen.
"Thanks, how much for the drink?" Jigoku asked.
"How about just for tonight it's on the house." The bartender said.
"Are you sure, don't want people thinking you're doing any favors for a first-time customer." Jigoku surprised.
"It's fine, I can charge you for the next drink when you come by again." The bartender smiled.
"Okay, if you say so, old man." Jigoku grinned and walks away.
"Hey Jigoku, if you ever feel like wanting to fight me, give me a call and I'll try to make a schedule with you for the time." Kagura smirked.
"If you want to get pounded to the ground that much, I'll glad take on the Black Knight." Jigoku excited before leaving the bar.
"That kid, I can tell he's destined for greatness." Kagura chuckled.
"You see that too, can't wait to see what amazing things that kid will bring to the world." The bartender smiled.
"(Jigoku the Bloodedge, show how dead serious you are of becoming the world's strongest.)" Kagura thought as he drinks his beer again.
"There you are, Sir Kagura!" Hibiki entered the bar.
"Damn it, Hibiki…" Kagura cried, knowing this mean it's back to paperwork of torture.

Jigoku got to meet Kagura the Black Knight at a bar while doing a little errand even looking forward to fighting him when the time comes, though Kagura would most likely feel jealous of the Wolverine Beastkin having a harem and he doesn't have one girlfriend yet.
