Ellie Bishop: Glad I did well on Spectre Oliver. Indeed he is. Yep, quiet a difficult pill for Oliver to swallow but he will be better off for it. Yep. Indeed it has. Yep, like a child's play for someone like the Spectre.

Patrick Star: No Patrick, mayonnaise is not an instrument.

Guest: Glad it was amazing. Glad to hear it.

Safe house

Night

In the basement, Roy was practicing his archery, his arrow hitting the target dead center. Satisfied, Roy put his bow down and looked over at the table where Sin rested, unresponsive.

"Still no change then?" Roy asked Felicity, who was on her computers.

"So much blood mixed in with so much Mirakuru, I'm amazed she's still alive. And I'm not exactly a doctor or a biologist," Felicity sighed. "I really wish Star Labs would hurry up with that cure."

"Where are we on that?" Roy inquired.

"I talked to Caitlin this morning, they're working on it," Felicity said and Roy sighed in frustration.

"Well, they better hurry up. We really need it," Roy said as he looked down at Sin worriedly.

"SO, are you staying at the mansion after Mrs. Queen's interview? I mean, that's where you've been staying for the last few weeks, right?" Felicity asked and Roy nodded.

"Yeah. This whole thing with Diggle has made Oliver even more paranoid than before, he pretty much strong armed me into staying at the mansion until this whole thing is over," Roy said with a sigh.

"Could be worse," Felicity said and he looked at her blankly. "He could be an abusive jerk who dresses up as a bat and recruited you when you were a kid."

"Guess so," Roy said with a laugh. "Anyway, I kind of got the feeling he and Sara wanted some alone time, so I told them I'd crash here on the couch tonight."

Felicity nodded, silent. She had accepted that Oliver would never see her as anything but a friend and the last several months had shown her that there was a darkness inside Oliver. It would always be there, no one could change that, not even Oliver. And the last few months had shown her that she could not handle this kind of darkness. She had privately come to the decision that, if she lived through this, it was time to leave. Not just the team, but Starling City. She just hadn't figured out how to tell Oliver yet.

"So what are you working on?" Roy asked, breaking her out of her thoughts as he walked over to her.

"Not working, as much as research," Felicity said as Roy saw a web page that had an article on Diggle. "I just…I'm not sure how I could have missed it. In hindsight, there are so many signs I never picked up on."

"You missed it for the same reason I missed it with Jade," Roy said as she looked over at him. "Neither of us were looking for any red flags. We trusted them, we loved them. They played us, you can't blame yourself Felicity."

"I can't stop blaming myself," Felicity said with a sigh and it was silent between them for a moment.

Suddenly, there was bang. Felicity and Roy whirled around, seeing Sin had twitched slightly on the table, causing it to rock.

"Does the fact that her lying there freaks me out a little make me a bad person?" Felicity asked.

"No, just makes you human," Roy said with a slight chuckle. "I think Mrs. Queen is making something with chicken for dinner before we leave."

"Who knew Moira Queen could cook," Felicity said dryly. "I'll be up in a few minutes, just save me a plate."

Roy nodded and, with one last concerned look at Felicity, walked up the stairs, reasoning she would have to work this out on her own. Felicity looked back at the webpage, trying to ignore the feeling of Sin behind her.

"How can you be unconscious and freak me out at the same…time?"

Felicity turned around in chair, startled at seeing the table was now empty, Sin nowhere in sight. Felicity got to her feet, completely shocked.

"Sin?" Felicity called out uncertainly.

She received no answer. She turned around, about to reach for her phone when she jumped. Sin was standing in front of her computer.

"Oh my God! Oh, you scared me!" Felicity exclaimed.

As she stared to calm down, she noticed Sin's hands were shaking. And the dark look on Sin's face wasn't inspiring warm feelings.

"Sin?" Felicity said uncertainly.

Sin's trembling hands suddenly grabbed the computer desk before she threw it at Felicity. Felicity barely managed to dodge it before Sin shoved her. Felicity hit the wall with enough force to knock her out as Sin walked right passed her unmoving form.

Starling City

Not long after

In a hotel room, Oliver and Sara were in bed together, their clothes scattered around the room. As they came up for air, taking a break from their love making, Sara asked a question that had been bothering her for a while.

"Do you think Sin is okay?" she asked and Oliver shot her an incredulous look.

"Please tell me you're not thinking of Sin right now. We are finally alone for the first time in weeks," Oliver said blankly and Sara laughed.

"Sorry. I just…I worry about her, the way you worry about Thea," Sara said and Oliver gave her an understanding look.

"I'm worried about her to, but there's nothing we can do until Star Labs gets back to us with that cure," Oliver pointed out.

Before Sara could say anything, Oliver's phone began ringing. They looked over, seeing Felicity's face flash across the screen.

Safe house

Later

Roy and Thea were putting the table back the way it was as Moira dabbed a rag on Felicity's forehead, which had a bandage where her head had hit the wall when Oliver and Sara walked in. It didn't escape either of their notice that Sin was gone.

"Where is she? What happened?" Sara asked almost immediately.

"We're not sure, to either," Roy answered.

"One minute she's out, the next she's like an attack dog. She looked like Sin but…she wasn't," Felicity said shakily.

"You alright?" Oliver asked as he noticed the bandage.

"Sin attacked her, sent her crashing into the wall," Roy answered for her. "Your mom was getting ready for her interview after making us dinner. After ten minutes, I came down to check on Felicity, found her unconscious."

"How'd she even get out without any of us noticing?" Thea wondered.

"The secret entrance down here," Oliver realized, gesturing over to the door towards the south edge of the room. "She must have found it."

"Where would she go?" Moira inquired.

"I don't know, but we need to find her. And you need to head to your interview," Oliver told her before looking over at Roy. "You, go with her, keep watch. You're her bodyguard for the night."

"You sure? I know that's what we agreed but with Sin out there-" Roy started.

"We can handle Sin. I have other avenues to turn to for help. We'll worry about Sin," Oliver said before looking over at Moira. "And you just worry about that interview."

Bratva Hideout

Later

"And this girl has been injected with Mirakuru?" Anatoly asked as he looked down at the picture of Sin Oliver had provided for him.

"Yes, and I think we can both agree that the last thing we want is her roaming the streets. Star Labs is working on a cure," Oliver explained and Anatoly looked at him sharply. "But until then, I need to find her. I don't want the Bratva to engage her; I just want them to find her."

"Are you sure this is wise? She has the Mirakuru, just like Slade," Anatoly noted.

"She's not Slade, she's a kid," Oliver said firmly.

"I hope you are right my friend. For all our sakes," Anatoly said grimly.

The Glades

Same time

Sin was walking the streets, a blank look on her face. As she passed a bar, some of her friends, three guys, noticed her.

"Hey Sin, where ya been? Haven't seen you around for a few weeks," one of them said as he approached her.

Sin gave no response, simply staring at him blankly. As he looked at her weirded out, he noticed her hands were covered in bloody bruises, like she'd been hitting a brick wall.

"Hey, you been in a fight?" he asked as he took one of her hands.

Sin stared blankly, still unresponsive. Then, she yanked her hand back and shoved him, sending him stumbling back into a nearby car.

"So that's how it's gonna be huh?!" he snarled as he stepped forward, clearly intending on fighting her.

He tried to strike her but Sin grabbed his hand and, with a twist, a sickening crack was had. He yelled in pain as his friends rushed her. Sin let go, grabbing one of him friends and tossing her effortlessly onto the roof of a nearby car before grabbing the other one by his head and slamming him face first into a nearby car's window, shattering it. The one whose wrist she broke stared at her fearfully as she silently walked away.

Sorry this chapter is rather short but that felt like a rather sloppy place to go to the next scene. Next chapter will be longer, I promise.
