Prompt: "Drake takes Sakura out drinking to help her work up the courage to talk to Shirou. Things get out of hand." — Kat-2V
When did things get so blurry?
"Oh dear," Rider said from her side. "Someone went for the bottle a few too many times too quickly."
Sakura wiped her eyes to try to get the blurriness out of them and mostly succeeded. The bar was far quieter than she had expected from its outside. Soft jazz over the speakers, an old bartender casually wiping a glass down, and only a few patrons at this hour. With the sun not entirely down, the wooden interior was lit by a warm sunlight uncharacteristic to the winter, but much welcome.
"I... huh...?" she murmured as her vision swayed again.
"Alright, up and at 'em. Let's get you going while the liquid courage is still running."
Sakura giggled as her Servant picked her up in a princess carry and strode out the bar. "I bet... Senpai is very confused."
"Bah, he can wait a little longer." Somehow, despite using both arms to carry her, Rider had a large tankard of beer in one hand that she was drinking out of. "That boy's too low-strung sometimes. He needs more excitement. A little bit of worry will do him good."
"Don't be mean! He's a good person."
"So was my first mate!" Drake replied. "But that didn't mean he didn't need a good kick in the arse from time to time. Now come on, we're gonna go beat up Assassin again."
Sakura laughed even harder. The night was young, but it wasn't getting any younger. She was ready to enjoy it to the best of her ability before sinking into the hell of the Holy Grail War again.
