85. Chapter 85: The Legion of Doom Part 1

Today is the day. The day where I can finally be crowned as King of Equestria. I have been waiting for this day for so long. And I'll get to rule alongside my beautiful marefriend. Now, not only do I get to rule with the most beautiful pony in all of Equestria, but I finally get to become Commander In Chief of Equestria's military. This is going to be fun because now, all final say goes to me and not Celestia. Speaking of which, her and Luna's thrones got removed in replacement with Twilight's and mine. I heard Celestia say to Luna "Doesn't she look so adorably regal up there?" Hey, don't forget about me! Luna brought out the tissue and said "Our little Twilight. All grown up." Yeah, imagine that. It's been so many years. "Should we tell her that we've cleared out our royal suite so she, Zachary, and Spike can move in?" Oh that's nice to hear. I'll remember to tell Twilight that later on.

Celestia said "Oh, maybe wait until after the coronation." Seems fair enough to me. There's a lot going on. Save that for the end. "Twilight doesn't need anything else to worry about today." That's for sure. I'll make sure everything goes smoothly today hoping that no one decides to use this day as an opportunity to attack us. Celestia and Luna walked out and Spike said "So, you freaking out yet?" She looks fine to me. Twilight said "About what?" See? She has no problem whatsoever. Spike said "Oh, I don't know, it's not everyday that the princesses that have ruled Equestria for hundreds of moons retire and pass all their responsibilities onto you and your friends." Yeah, it isn't, but there's nothing to worry about here. Twilight said "Oh, that. Actually, I'm feeling pretty good. We've all faced so much, and come out okay." Yeah, but we still have a long way to go because there will definitely be more threats we face in the future. Believe me I know. "I know we're up to the challenge of keeping Equestria safe and happy. There's nothing we can't handle together!" That's right. As long as we work together, nothing can bring us down. "Which reminds me…" Oh, what is this? Twilight pulled out a box and gave it to Spike. He opened it and said "Royal Advisor? What's that?" I'll let Twilight explain that one. Twilight said "A new position I created for you." In case you're curious, monarchs can do that here in Equestria.

"You've been at my side for every step of this journey." Right, since the very beginning at that entrance exam. "Knowing I had you to count on gave me the strength I needed to grow and succeed. I wouldn't be here without you." Hey, don't make me get emotional here. Men don't cry. Yeah, yeah I know. People say that real men cry and blah blah blah. No. I disagree. Crying shows weakness and I don't want to be seen as vulnerable at any time. It's okay if God sees me that way, but not anybody else. I'm doing this for Equestria's own good. Anyway, Spike shed some tears and hugged Twilight. He said "Thanks Twilight. You know I'll always be your right hoof dragon." Yeah, I think so. Twilight said "I was hoping you'd say that because now that my crown's been fitted, we have some royal errands to run." Twilight took off flying with Spike and I spread out my eagle wings and followed them as well. We flew down to meet up with Rarity and Fluttershy to go over some things. Rarity spotted us and said "Oh, Twilight darling." I cleared my throat to know I was here too. "Oh, and of course Zachary too. Sorry darling." It's fine. "Anyway, you both are just in time. Only one more pre-coronation stop." And what is that?

"We're picking up the final touch for your affray orderve gown." I have no idea what that is, but whatever. Twilight asked "Is that before or after the Royal Marshmallow Contest Eating gown?" Wait. Is there marshmallow eating contests going on today?! Sign me up! Anyway, that was a joke. That's not really happening today as much as I would like for it to happen. Rarity took that literally and exclaimed "What?! I hadn't made one of those! You must tell me when they add these sorts of things!" She was joking, Rarity. It's not to be taken literally. Twilight moved the paper down and said "It's okay Rarity. I was just joking." Rarity fainted and I said "Joking on the day of our coronation? You've come a long way, Twilight." Twilight blushed a bit and we went over to the thread shop. Rarity tried opening the door, but it was locked. She said "Well that's odd. They look open." I guess. I have no idea. Rarity knocked on the door and a pony opened up the tiny window and said "What do you want?" Dang, boi. Chillax. Rarity said "Oh, well this being a thread shop, I thought I might buy some?" That shouldn't be too much to ask for. The pony squinted her eyes and said "Put the bits in the mail slot." Okay, someone is on edge today. Rarity put three bits into the mail slot and a gold thread came out with it. That must be big bucks right there.

Twilight seemed confused and asked "What was that about?" I have no idea. Sometimes, ponies are just on edge. I get that. Rarity said "You know designers. Don't like being interrupted when they're on a creative role." Ah yes. I remember that. In the past, when I was hardcore gaming, I did not like to be disturbed. Same thing goes here. "Oh, with thread this exquisite, can you blame them?" Not really. It does look pretty nice and I can tell that's high quality material and not fool's gold. That's the cheap stuff. Rarity put it in her bag and Rainbow said "Weather for the coronation is sunny skies." It better be. I can't have it be raining on this important day. "It was weird though. Not many pegasi wanted to help me clear the clouds." That seems off. I thought they would help you since you are a pegasus. Weird. "They were kinda on edge." Yeah, I know what that feels like. Speaking of which, a unicorn walked by, but as soon as he was spotted, he quickly went stealthy and went inside his house before shutting the door.

Spike said "They're not the only ones." Well obviously. Rarity said "It's the first shift in royal power for over a millennium." I cut in and said "Ten millenniums actually." Rarity rolled her eyes and said "Anyway, of course everyone is a little jumpy. Change does that." Twilight felt sad and Fluttershy said "But I'm sure it's not because they're worried about you." Yeah, don't take it personal Twilight. You'll get used to it. Rainbow said "How could they be? How many times have you saved their flanks by now?" Quite a bit actually. Twilight smiled and said "You're right. I'll just have to let everypony know that even with Celestia and Luna gone, we'll make sure things stay the same." For the most part, yes. There are a couple of changes that Equestria really does need, so I'll have to get those changes passed within the next couple of years. Anyway, we went back to the front of the castle to see what Applejack was doing. She saw us and said "Twilight. There you are! You mind telling your friend here that I don't need an official guard wherever I go? Especially if he ain't gonna help carry apples!" I got this. I said "I appreciate that you are looking out for my friends, but everything is fine. You are dismissed." The guard saluted to me and quickly left. But he still gave dirty looks to Applejack which I did not appreciate whatsoever. Applejack said "It was the strangest thing. He kept calling me "Earth Pony" like I didn't have a name." I'll make sure to rebuke him for that. That is uncalled for and has no place here.

"And watching me like he'd thought I'd steal the silver!" Okay, yeah. I'm going to have to have a serious talk with the military here to make sure this kind of thing does not happen again. That is being unreasonable and makes us monarchs look bad. Suddenly, the door opened and there were a whole bunch of cupcakes. Good grief. Pinkie said "Do NOT go into that kitchen!" I wasn't planning on it anytime soon. Rainbow said "You look like you were in a sugar war." Actually, it looked like World War III broke out in there. Pinkie hopped out of the mess and said "For some reason, the bakers are super grouchy with each other." This really is starting to get out of hand here. "That unicorn chef started throwing dessert at Mrs. Cake!" Oh dear. I think I know which one that is. Oh no. Don't tell me it's that time. "I tried to help, but I got caught in the crossfire! Tasty, tasty crossfire!" Uh, usually the crossfire is not that great. You're lucky if you manage to not get yourself killed in a shootout. That's how bad it is. Twilight seemed doubtful and asked "Are you sure this is just pre-coronation nerves?" I don't know.

Before any of us could answer, we heard a voice say "Agh! My aching metatarsals!" We turned around and saw Discord standing there in some mud and his body all roughed up and everything. He looked like he came from the other side of the world and just barely made it here. "You know, you forget how convenient snap travel is." Yeah, it does work out pretty well. Discord was rubbing his feet and the rest of the group was confused. Spike said "Wait, did you just walk here on foot?" It appears so. Discord said "Yes, actually. And I have a confession to make." What is it this time? "You see, I might have made the tiniest boo-boo. All very well intentioned and noble of course, but-" Suddenly, Applejack cut in and said "Get to the point, Discord." Yeah, really. We don't need the details. Discord looked at us and said "You remember that whole thing with King Sombra?" Yes, who can forget? I remember that quite well. "That was slightly my fault, and by slightly, I mean, I brought him back." I know that. That really is not that surprising to me. I watched the Season 9 premiere. I know what happened. So, that's not really a shocker to me at all. However, I can't say the same for the rest of the group. Rarity spoke up and said "You did?! But why?" It was all part of his plan to "prepare" Twilight for anything. Discord said "Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time." Not really. It was actually a bad time now that I think about it.

"Which is why I brought back three other villains who are now on the loose and not really big fans of yours, so... my bad." Are. You. Flipping. KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?! The group gasped in horror and I growled in anger. Yeah, he said "my bad." That's a really "my bad" right there. You have crossed the line this time Discord! We all went back to the throne room and I was beyond furious. I really wanted to rip this creature to shreds, but I knew I couldn't do that. However, I would give him the "what for" for doing something so stupid and incredibly foolish. While I was sitting on my throne, I looked at Discord and yelled "YOU SERIOUSLY THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO ATTACK MY MAREFRIEND WITH THREE OF EQUESTRIA'S WORST VILLAINS ON ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT DAYS OF HER LIFE IN THE NAME OF "PREPARING" HER FOR ANYTHING?! HOW DARE YOU COMMIT THIS CRIME AGAINST THE CROWN! GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T JUST RIP YOU APART!" I lunged at Discord, but Twilight, Celestia, and Luna restrained me and held me back. I broke free of their grasp and was about to rip Discord to shreds. But, after a few seconds, I lost all motivation and sat back down.

I sang this song on my throne because I really wanted it to not be treason that Discord committed, but I wanted a good reason on why it wasn't. Of course, as I sang this song, I gave Discord very dark glares and lightning and thunder would go off occasionally. No one else even bothered to interfere, but instead just watched in complete silence. I think they're just waiting until I blow off all of my steam which might take a bit. After the song was over, I shut my mouth and made it quite clear everyone else could speak now. Luna was the first to speak up and said "Going off what Zachary has said, but in nicer terms, you wanted to boost Twilight's confidence, so you brought back Chrysalis, Cozy Glow, and Tirek to attack her and him?!" Oh, I forgot about that. Since Chrysalis is on the loose, she'll come after me and Starlight since we stole her hive from her. Discord added "Don't forget Sombra." Yeah, but he's dead, so that doesn't matter. His own arrogance was his downfall. Celestia said "And while you united these three villains, YOU pretended to be Grogar?!" Yep. That sounds about right. I really wish the creators didn't do that, but whatever. It's their show, so they can do what they want with it. Discord held his head down in shame and Fluttershy said "Discord. How could you do this to both Twilight and Zachary?! And us?!" Because he is a trickster and he always has a goal for everything. Even if it hurts others in the process.

I guess he never learned his lesson when he teamed up with Tirek in the Season 4 finale. Discord bent down and said "Look what a great job you did defeating Sombra." Yeah, that was pretty great even though it was quite brutal. "All the confidence you gained." I didn't have that much confidence since a quarter of my power was gone, but now I've been restored, so it's fine. "Remember the cheering? The hoof bumps?" Yes yes. I remember that. Twilight said "Except it was all a lie." Not really. Even if it was intentional, there still was a lesson to be learned from there. Discord walked up a bit and said "A well intentioned lie." I don't give a prick if it was well intentioned or not. A lie is still a lie. The truth is always better. ALWAYS! It might sting for a bit, but in the end, it will be better than if you lied. Applejack said "For all the time you've spent with us, you really haven't picked up too much in the way of friendship lessons huh?" No he hasn't and that's because he's a trickster. They always have some sort of goal and they'll do whatever it takes to achieve that said goal, even if it hurts others in the process. It's sad, but it's how that personality works. There's really no sympathizing with him here.

Twilight said "You've been setting up challenges the whole time, haven't you? None of our successes were actually real." Actually, they were, but it was set up on purpose. Whether or not it was intentional, a success is a success in my books. Discord said "Of course they were. You just had an extremely good safety net." Yeah, well now, thanks to you, that "safety net" is gone. I'm the only creature left that has that kind of feature. Spike said "And how is that supposed to help again?!" It isn't really, to be completely honest. Discord extended himself out and said "I intended to prepare Twilight for anything, by orchestrating an epic attack at her coronation!" Yeah, that sounds like a cool movie to watch, but to actually be part of it is no fun whatsoever. Rarity ran up to Discord and yelled "You beastly beast!" Is that really the best insult you can come up with? I can think of a lot better ones than that. "Don't you know how much this day means to Twilight?! And of course Zachary as well?!" It is true. I've been looking forward to this day for quite a while and now it's about to get ruined by some dumb and foolish decision made by an incompetent Draconequus. "And me?! I made her dress!" Okay then. That's kinda random. But whatever. Carry on.

"Why wait until now for such a horrible plan?!" Because Discord was disguised as Grogar and he said to the Legion of Doom that the coronation was today, so it all kinda falls into place. Discord said "You don't take a final exam on your first day of class." True, but most of the time, you have to take an entrance exam or a placement test to see where you are on a certain subject. "Just think, after defeating three baddies, Twilight would have to believe that she's the leader we all know she is." I'm still here, you stupid idiot. Celestia flew over to Discord and said "You have made a grave misjudgment Discord. Do you have anything else you would like to tell us?!" Yeah really. Discord turned around and said "Would you like the good news or the bad news?" Wait a minute. YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT WASN'T THE BAD NEWS?! Oh my Lord, what in the name of God's green Earth is going on here? Luna said "That wasn't the bad news?!" I'm just as surprised as you are Luna. Discord said "All my chaos magic is gone! Trapped in Grogar's Bell." Well, that's just lovely. I hope the Legion of Doom doesn't try to use that against us. That is highly dangerous magic and should not be tampered with whatsoever. Spike sighed and said "So what's the good news?" Tell us Discord.

Discord said "Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow now have all of the real Grogar's magic." That doesn't sound like good news to me. Rainbow yelled "IN WHAT WORLD IS THAT GOOD NEWS?!" Not really any to be honest. Discord said "Compared to losing my powers, anything else is good news." That is honestly so selfish and stupid of you to say that. I'm not even going to bother trying to comment on that. I rolled my eyes in annoyance and Celestia came back over. She said "Twilight, Zachary, Luna. We need to make a plan." I can make a plan in about five seconds. I can put battleships and fighter jets up and down the coasts of Equestria's borders in record time. "Maybe it's not too late to stop this DISASTER from happening!" Perhaps. Both royal sisters looked at me and Twilight and the latter said "I… I need some time to think first." I think it's too late for that, Twilight. Discord yelled "Well, there isn't any time! Look what I overheard them saying!" He tried snapping his fingers, but nothing happened. Then he remembered that he had no magic. I rolled my eyes and brought up a screen of what the Legion of Doom had said after Discord had his magic drained.

Chrysalis had said "Let the fool go. Without magic, he's no threat. Besides, we have plans." Chrysalis brought over the bell and Cozy Glow said "The Lame Six are so busy being perfect. They haven't even noticed what we've been up to. Have I mentioned how great revenge is?" Tirek had knocked the orb down and he said "Oh, I hope you got a name picked out for your future kingdom because it's time to destroy Equestria!" All three of them started laughing evilly and then the screen disappeared. Okay, a couple things. One, I know what they've been up to recently. I have watched the entire series. So I know what happens. Two, even though revenge might sound great, it's not your place to do that. Only God will repay because vengeance is his, not yours. Three, names for future kingdoms is NOT going to happen because I'm ready for you to come. It will take a lot to bring me down. You will be defeated once more, so don't even bother with that for now. Okay, I'm done. Moving on.

After a few seconds, Discord said "They're probably on their way to Canterlot right now!" Actually, they're bickering right now, but close enough. Pinkie said "Then we'll stop them!" That's the spirit, Pinkie. Twilight was unsure and exclaimed "How?! Stopping Sombra by himself was hard enough. And that was with Lord of Chaos training wheels!" Well, that was when I was weaker. But, now that I'm restored to full strength, those three stand no chance against me. Literally. Celestia flew down and said "Twilight, it doesn't matter if Discord set up your successes or not. We believe in you and always have." Even I believe in you Twilight. You have made it this far already, don't let a group of villains working together stop you from believing in yourself. Luna said "Lean on your strengths to counter your weaknesses." That's very true. Twilight said "My strengths?" Yeah, you're looking at one right now. We all smiled at Twilight in reassurance and Twilight got some of her confidence back. "Right. Spike. Send a letter to Starswirl. Tell him we need the pillars to guard the borders of Canterlot." I know that's not going to work, so I'm going to call for backup. "If the villains are looking for a fight, we'll have one waiting for them." That, and of course me.

"With Chrysalis on the loose, she'll go after Starlight." I said "She'll also come after me as well since I helped Starlight defeat her several years ago." Twilight nodded and said "Warn Cadence and Shining Armor. They're our final line of defense if we fail." I'll have a line of defense coming for them across Equestria's borders on both sides. "The ultimate battle for the fate of Equestria is coming!" Well obviously. After that, I went to the place where I gather my soldiers and I said to them "Listen up soldiers! We have three dangerous villains on the loose and they'll be looking for a fight. I want battleships and fighter jets on every corner of Equestria's borders ASAP! Am I clear!?" All of them said "YES SIR!" and I said "Good. Now go. Defend Equestria and make me proud. Dismissed!" All of them went their separate ways and went to put defenses at Equestria's borders. You might be confused on how fighter jets would even work for a pony, but I developed a device that can be used by any pony species so they can still fly those things.

Anyway, after that, I went back to the throne room and we all gathered together once more to prepare for the Legion of Doom. Twilight said "We've faced enemies of Equestria before, and we've always succeeded." Yes, we have. Not even the Legion of Doom will be able to take us down entirely. "That wouldn't be possible without all of you." Even me. Discord didn't seem to get the memo and said "You're welcome." We all gave him glares or looks of annoyance and Spike said "Dude, read the room." Yeah really. Twilight continued and said "So I ask for your help again today in what is our biggest battle yet." Eh, for the current time being yes, but the REAL Grogar will be much tougher than this. It will make this trial look like a cake walk. "All of Equestria is at stake and I can't do this alone. But I'm not afraid. Because with friendship as our armor and teamwork as our power, NOPONY can ever bring us down!" That's right. Suddenly the door slammed open and a voice said "Oh come on!" Hmm? YOU AGAIN! I SHALL TAKE YOU OUT MYSELF! Anyway, it was Cozy Glow and she somehow came up with a stack of guards which seemed kinda humiliating and showed how weak the security system really is. "Where'd you get that? A daily affirmations calendar? Yeesh." I saw what was coming next. Twilight said "Cozy Glow, you're-" before Cozy said "About to wipe the floor with you!" She charged up her magic, but I flew up in front of Twilight and blocked the attack with my magic.

Cozy got frustrated and fired off another beam. But I responded with my own and it was a lot bigger. My beam was quickly overtaking hers and once it hit her, it sent her flying. The group stared at me in shock and I said "What? Can't have some tyrant filly attack the one mare I care about most. Also, you might want to get behind the throne. It's going to get ugly." Cozy Glow came back and fired off more magic. I countered it with my own and we traded blow for blow. Occasionally, I would go into my shadow form and sneak up behind her before I would return to my lion form and bite her in the back with my teeth resulting in blood being drawn out which would only make me stronger. Eventually, the guards started shooting magical darts at Cozy, but she just blocked it all with her shield. They charged at her, but she opened up a portal that made them fall through and into the royal lake next to the gate. How cruel. Cozy gave more evil laughter and Celestia said "Stand down, Cozy Glow!" Oh, she's not going to do that any time soon.

She said "Gee, I guess I could, but… I'm HAVING TOO MUCH FUN!" Cozy charged up another beam and fired it off at us, but Twilight put up a shield to block the attack. That was a really big beam, but my scepter can do far bigger than that. Celestia looked at Luna and said "Ready sister?" Uh, what are you guys doing? Twilight removed the shield and said "Wait. What are you-" Both of them stood in battle positions and fired off magic at Cozy Glow. I said "Wait! Don't do that! She's going to drain your… *Celestia and Luna's magic gets drained by the bell* magic." As I was saying that, Cozy was actually smart and pulled out the bell. The bell shot out a beam and quickly extracted the sisters' magic. Both of them screamed in pain and fell to the ground. Twilight watched in horror and yelled "NOOO!" I stood there in silence and Cozy said "That's the problem with you magic types. You're so reliant on all your special power, you forget to use YOUR BRAINS!" EXCUSE ME! I use logical sense when it comes to using my powers. If I sense magic withdrawal, I dodge it and retaliate with magical force. Twilight looked up at Cozy and said "Keep telling yourself that! NOW!" Rainbow quickly flew out and spun Cozy around to make her dizzy. Next up came Pinkie who said "SURPRISE ATTACK!" Rarity's magic was holding her up in the air and Cozy coughed out the confetti from the party cannon which was quite funny and satisfying at the same time.

Fluttershy came up behind Cozy and said "Fly my pretties!" The geese charged at Cozy and she screamed in terror as well as she got hit by them. Spike flew up and attacked Cozy with fire. She dodged that, but was unable to escape my lightning bolts from reaching her tail. It burned pretty badly and it left a very dark black mark on there. Basically, every time she was attacked by one thing, another would come right after it. Then, Applejack threw her rope up and brought Cozy to the ground. The bell fell too and she held it in her grasp to make sure no one stole it. We surrounded her and me and Twilight activated our magic ready to wipe her into oblivion. I growled loudly at her, but before I could blast Cozy, I noticed a bright light coming from the window sill above the thrones and that took everypony's attention. Cozy saw this as an opportunity to escape and flew up to dodge the light. Eventually, the light got so bright that it burst open and it sent everyone flying. I engrained my paws into the ground and I didn't move a single bit. I wasn't about to get yeeted today by a broken window sill.

Chrysalis and Tirek flew in and the latter pushed the thrones away from him and Discord was hiding behind there. He fell down in horror, but Cozy picked him up and threw him to the rest of the pile. Twilight put up her shield and Chrysalis said "You think your pathetic shield can stop us?! *laughs evilly* The Pillars have been defeated. Your school is abandoned! Face it Twilight. You've lost!" I don't think so. We might be down, but never out. Twilight said "You can attack us and we may fall, but Equestria will still stand. United in friendship and we won't stop until we defeat you. No matter how many ponies you take down!" Umm, Twilight? Equestria is divided right now. These three villains have managed to successfully make all three pony tribes distrust one another and always be on edge. All three villains just laughed at that like it was the stupidest thing they ever heard. After a few seconds, Tirek said "Didn't you all notice something was wrong in Equestria?" I have. I know what your plan is. "We've been busy!" Chrysalis came up to the shield and said "A whisper here, a rumor there." Tirek added "Destroyed some crops. Caused some damage." Cozy circled the shield and said "Turned pony against pony." Shame on you really. Chrysalis said "Until your whole kingdom is on edge. Waiting for just one tiny thing to push them over the brink!" I hope you're happy because you're going down.

Tirek had an evil grin on his face and said "There's no beck of friends or rainbow magic to save you now!" WANNA BET?! I CAN MAKE THAT HAPPEN IN FIVE SECONDS! Cozy came up and said "Golly, I think it's time for some redecorating!" Define what you mean by redecorating. All three of them turned around and blasted the side of the castle with their magic. Oh. That's what you meant. Some of the rocks came falling down and Chrysalis said "You know what's stronger than friendship Twilight?" Love. That's what's stronger than friendship. "FEAR!" Not even close. Anyway, Chrysalis pounded on the shield and Twilight got nervous, so it broke easily. Tirek showed up behind us and said "Cause when you have to protect yourself, you don't have time for anypony else!" He grabbed Twilight with his magic and I was boiling with anger. DON'T YOU EVEN DARE HARM TWILIGHT OR I WILL MURDER YOU IN BROAD DAYLIGHT! Cozy Glow said "Too bad you never taught that in school!" No comment on that.

They all charged up their magic and was about to destroy Twilight, but I flew over and dropped an anchor on the ground which caused a crack to form through the floor and then black shadows wrapped around the Legion of Doom. I put more force into the scepter and the grip tightened on them to the point where they started to turn blue. The thing is that the scepter controls how powerful the shadows are. The more force I put into it, the stronger the grip is. Eventually, they were so blue that Tirek dropped Twilight and she was confused. The group pointed their heads up to me and she saw me basically choking the Legion of Doom to death from the base of an anchor. She even saw the death stare I had on my face towards the Legion. I think she thought it was so romantic, but didn't dwell on it. After I saw Twilight was safe, I released my grip and the three of them dusted themselves off. Twilight saw them do that and started running. They charged up their magic and launched a large beam that was headed straight for me. I was about to fire off some more magic, but Twilight put up a giant rock to hold off the blast. She was struggling though. Rarity said "Go Twilight! Get help!" Applejack ran up to the rock and said "We'll hold them 'til you get back!" We all ran towards the rock and Twilight said "No! I can't leave you here!" You have to. There's no other choice. Fluttershy ran up and said "It's our only chance!" Pretty much.

Rainbow came up and said "You'll come up with something to save the day!" Yeah, that has never failed. Pinkie came up and said "You always do!" She's exactly right. Celestia and Luna flew up as well and Spike said "We believe in you!" So do I. Discord pushed her aside and said "Fly, you foal!" He went to push the rock and I flew over to it as well. I put my entire back up against the rock to try and stall it for as long as I could. I looked at Twilight and our eyes met. I mouthed to her, "Be safe." She nodded and teleported away. The blast finally hit us and everything went white. Please be careful Twilight. Don't get yourself killed out there.

AN: That is the end of the first part to probably the best season finale the show has ever done. Obviously, there were some flaws with it and those could have been done better, but overall, it was really great. A lot of action and I enjoyed watching it. But we are far from done. Next Chapter: Going back to the drawing board! After Twilight was successfully able to escape, Zachary and the rest of the Mane Six are trapped in the caverns below Canterlot along with Celestia, Luna, Starlight, Discord, and the Pillars. They were able to break out and find Twilight, but she was doubtful if there was even a way to defeat the Legion of Doom. Will her friends be able to give her encouragement, or will the Legion of Doom finally be able to become the next rulers of Equestria?
