"Oh, I don't know, it's not everyday that the princesses that have ruled Equestria for hundreds of moons retire and pass all their responsibilities onto you and your friends."

"We've all faced so much, and come out okay. I know we're up to the challenge of keeping Equestria safe and happy."

"Only one more pre-coronation stop. We're picking up the final touch for your affray orderve gown."

"Is that before or after the Royal Marshmallow Contest Eating gown?"

"What?! I hadn't made one of those!"

"It's okay, Rarity. I was just joking."

"Joking on the day of our coronation? You've come a long way, Twilight."

"Well that's odd."

"What do you want?"

"Oh, well this being a thread shop, I thought I might buy some?"

"Put the bits in the mail slot."

"It was weird though. Not many pegasi wanted to help me clear the clouds."

"They're not the only ones."

"It's the first shift in royal power for over a millennium."

"But I'm sure it's not because they're worried about you."

I'll just have to let everypony know that even with Celestia and Luna gone, we'll make sure things stay the same."

"You mind telling your friend here that I don't need an official guard wherever I go?"

"I appreciate that you are looking out for my friends, but everything is fine. You are dismissed."

He kept calling me "Earth Pony" like I didn't have a name. And watching me like he'd thought I'd steal the silver!"

"For some reason, the bakers are super grouchy with each other."

"I tried to help, but I got caught in the crossfire!"

"Are you sure this is just pre-coronation nerves?"

"You know, you forget how convenient snap travel is."

"Wait, did you just walk here on foot?"

"You see, I might have made the tiniest boo-boo."

"Get to the point, Discord."

"You remember that whole thing with King Sombra? I brought him back."

"You did?! But why?"

"Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Which is why I brought back three other villains who are now on the loose and not really big fans of yours, so... my bad."

"GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T JUST RIP YOU APART!"

"You wanted to boost Twilight's confidence, so you brought back Chrysalis, Cozy Glow, and Tirek to attack her and him?!"

"And while you united these three villains, YOU pretended to be Grogar?!"

"Discord. How could you do this to both Twilight and Zachary?! And us?!"

"Look what a great job you did defeating Sombra."

"Except it was all a lie."

"For all the time you've spent with us, you really haven't picked up too much in the way of friendship lessons huh?"

"You've been setting up challenges the whole time, haven't you? None of our successes were actually real."

"Of course they were. I intended to prepare Twilight for anything, by orchestrating an epic attack at her coronation!"

"Don't you know how much this day means to Twilight?! And of course Zachary as well?! Why wait until now for such a horrible plan?!"

"Just think, after defeating three baddies, Twilight would have to believe that she's the leader we all know she is."

"You have made a grave misjudgment Discord. Do you have anything else you would like to tell us?!"

"All my chaos magic is gone! Trapped in Grogar's Bell."

"So what's the good news?"

"Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow now have all of the real Grogar's magic."

"IN WHAT WORLD IS THAT GOOD NEWS?!"

"Compared to losing my powers, anything else is good news."

"We need to make a plan. Maybe it's not too late to stop this DISASTER from happening!"

"I… I need some time to think first."

"Well, there isn't any time! They're probably on their way to Canterlot right now!"

"Then we'll stop them!"

"How?! Stopping Sombra by himself was hard enough."

"Twilight, it doesn't matter if Discord set up your successes or not."

"Lean on your strengths to counter your weaknesses."

"Spike. Send a letter to Starswirl. Tell him we need the pillars to guard the borders of Canterlot."

"With Chrysalis on the loose, she'll go after Starlight."

"She'll also come after me as well since I helped Starlight defeat her several years ago."

"Warn Cadence and Shining Armor. The ultimate battle for the fate of Equestria is coming!"

"Listen up soldiers! I want battleships and fighter jets on every corner of Equestria's borders ASAP! Am I clear!?"

"YES SIR!"

"Good. Now go."

"We've faced enemies of Equestria before, and we've always succeeded."

"You're welcome."

"Dude, read the room."

"All of Equestria is at stake and I can't do this alone. Because with friendship as our armor and teamwork as our power, NOPONY can ever bring us down!"

"Where'd you get that? A daily affirmations calendar? Yeesh."

"Cozy Glow, you're-"

"About to wipe the floor with you!"

"What? Can't have some tyrant filly attack the one mare I care about most."

"Stand down, Cozy Glow!"

"Gee, I guess I could, but… I'm HAVING TOO MUCH FUN!"

"Ready sister?"

"Wait! Don't do that! She's going to drain your… magic."

"That's the problem with you magic types. You're so reliant on all your special power, you forget to use YOUR BRAINS!"

"Keep telling yourself that! NOW!"

"You think your pathetic shield can stop us?! Face it Twilight. You've lost!"

"You can attack us and we may fall, but Equestria will still stand.

"Didn't you all notice something was wrong in Equestria?"

"A whisper here, a rumor there."

"Turned pony against pony."

"Until your whole kingdom is on edge. Waiting for just one tiny thing to push them over the brink!"

"There's no beck of friends or rainbow magic to save you now!"

"You know what's stronger than friendship Twilight? FEAR!"

"Cause when you have to protect yourself, you don't have time for anypony else!"

"Too bad you never taught that in school!"

"Go Twilight! Get help!"

"No! I can't leave you here!"

"It's our only chance!"

"You'll come up with something to save the day!"

"Fly, you foal!"

I eventually woke up in some sort of cage that was blocked by some green stuff. Chrysalis. She probably put that there. I noticed that the rest of my friends were trapped in here with me as well. I looked outside and saw Celestia, Luna, Starlight, and the Pillars up above us. Normally, I would not be this easy to capture. But since I was unconscious, the Legion of Doom was successfully able to capture me. I tried to use magic, but then I saw the shards above each cell. Dang it! Those are the ones that came from the remains of Chrysalis' throne in the Changeling Hive. I knew Shining Armor shouldn't have used that! After a bit, Cozy Glow came over to our cell and said "And now for your complete destruction! Won't that be fun?" I snarled at her and said "With an incompetent pony like you around, no it wouldn't." Cozy got angry at me, but Chrysalis came over and said "Patience Cozy. Destruction is so… permanent. We need to show the rest of Equestria that we've broken their heroes first! Besides, we should have fun with our guests. Particularly with that ridiculous lion prince." My left eye twitched for a second before I snarled again and let out a massive roar in anger.

It shook the whole place and it made Chrysalis furious. Good. Now I got her mad. Tirek came over and said "No! We should hunt down Twilight Sparkle! As long as she's out there, she's dangerous!" You think she's dangerous?! Wait until you deal with me. I am the definition of dangerous. But it's cute to think Tirek sees Twilight as a threat. Chrysalis came over to Tirek and said tauntingly "Is that big, strong minotaur that scared of one little pony?" Technically, he's a centaur, but whatever. "Relax. It's not like her friends are going anywhere." OH YEAH?! I can find a way to break out Chrysalis! Just you wait. You seemed terrifying over five years ago because you still had your hive and I had no magic, but now that the tables have turned, I'm not afraid of you anymore! Chrysalis latched herself onto Starlight's cage and climbed up to the top of it. "The fools brought the remains of my throne to Canterlot to protect themselves!" I'm still blaming you for that, Shining Armor. "Those shards block their magic!" Yeah, I figured that out already.

It doesn't take a genius to know about that. Cozy tried flying over to us, but Chrysalis stopped her. "Careful. Too close and the shards cancel even our powers." But you're a changeling! How can your throne block out your own magic?! That's weird, but it levels out the playing field a bit, so it works to my advantage. Chrysalis pushed some of the dirt and created a line. "But on this side of the cavern, we're the MOST POWERFUL BEINGS IN EQUESTRIA!" I DON'T THINK SO! Compared to me, your magic is weak. You would stand no chance against me once I'm free! "Thanks to Grogar's Bell!" Thanks a lot for setting us up, Discord! I hope you're happy. "Isn't that right, Grogar?!" Chrysalis pulled on the chain that Discord had been wrapped around and he fell. Chrysalis and Tirek went over to Discord while Cozy Glow was about to do something with the bell. Tirek saw that and confronted her by saying "What are you doing?! You saw what happened when you tried to take Discord's chaos magic!" Oh wait. I think I know what Cozy wants. She wants Celestia and Luna's magic. That makes sense. Cozy Glow whined and said "Yeah, but there's alicorn princess magic in there now too! I could be so much more powerful if I just could have-" before Chrysalis interrupted and said "What do you mean you could be?!" What do you think? Use your brain for once, you disgusting bug. Cozy looked at them and said "Uh hello?! I'm the best one out of all of us, but nopony sees…"

Tirek was about to explode and said "WHAT are you talking about?!" Then Chrysalis said "The best at what?!" All three of them started to argue and me and my friends all looked at each other. Fluttershy said "This is really bad!" Yeah, you think? Applejack said "We've gotta find Twilight! She's probably figured out a way to defeat those monsters!" I'm not so sure about that. Rainbow said "Any idea HOW we get out of here to do that?!" There is one idea. Spike flew up to the green stuff and said "Too sticky. There's no way anypony can get through this." I said "Let me try." I went up to it and used my teeth to cut through the webs and it worked! It actually worked! They were all shocked, so I explained to them how I did it. "All I had to do was use my teeth. Because they are predatory, that makes it stronger than a lot of sticky substances and can cut through them like butter. It's actually genius when you think about it." In case you are curious, yeah, that's how lion's teeth work. Even though they don't have to deal with sticky substances a lot while hunting, they're built to where they can cut through any of that with no problem.

Suddenly, we heard Discord say "I'm so sorry. It made so much sense in my head. Twilight defeats her worst enemies and is filled with confidence. I truly did have the best intentions. I swear I'll make it up to you." Oh, oh. Now you want to apologize for this mess YOU made?! You didn't seem like that many months ago. But because these villains actually caused more destruction than you thought, you start regretting it. You should have thought of that when you brought them all together in the first place back in the Season 9 premiere. Such foolishness. Anyway, we all gave him glares and Rainbow said "That's going to need to be a pretty epic makeup!" I agree. I said "Not only do you have to apologize to them and everyone else in here, but you'll have to apologize to both me and Twilight for the pain you have caused both of us by orchestrating this mess. I hope you're happy." Suddenly, we all heard Tirek say "Stay away from the bell, YOU PEST!" We turned around and Tirek shot a beam at Cozy to get her to stay away. "NONE OF US can use the alicorn's magic until we figure out how to handle that fool's RIDICULOUS CHAOS MAGIC!" He's not a fool. What he did was foolish, but he is not a fool himself. But since you are a villain, you would probably reject God and disobey everything he says, so it makes sense. Sad, but true.

Discord spoke up and said "I could always tell you how." All three of them turned around with their magic charged up ready to blast at him for even daring to speak while they are having a conversation. "It would give you power over all reality. But… you'd have to ask nicely and spare my friends." I see. Okay then. Spike said "No Discord! This isn't the way to help!" I know what he's going to do here and it's actually quite genius. Cozy Glow said "Discord, could you please-" before Chrysalis pushed her away with her magic and said "Threats are more my speed. SPEAK!" NEVER! Tirek said "He's lying! He won't tell us." Of course he wouldn't, you stupid scumbag. He has reasons. Just watch. Discord said "I certainly won't tell you after the way you lied to me the last time we teamed up, you muscle bound cretin." Ouch. Now that's an insult. The point is, Discord is just as distrustful because Tirek had turned on him and had just used him as a tool and threw him away when he was no longer needed.

Tirek took offence to that and said "This "cretin" could destroy you before you blink. So choose your words carefully." I don't think Fluttershy would like that if you decided to destroy Discord. Speaking of which, he said "You're right. Cretin is too polite. How about pathetic centaur who uses magic to compensate for the fact that deep down, he's afraid he'll never be enough to please dear old Dad. King Vorak?" Now that's hitting it right close to home right there. That's a much more personal insult right there. As soon as Tirek was furious, I lined up my scepter and was ready to help out Discord since I had an opening. Obviously, Tirek was furious at that insult Discord threw at him and blasted at him with his magic. Discord held out the rock to deflect the magic and it went everywhere. I had one of the beams bounce off of my scepter and pierced straight through the shard above Starlight's cage. It was shattered and still smoking a little bit. Obviously, the legion didn't know that yet and Cozy laughed at Discord and said "You missed!" Are you sure about that? Starlight yelled "Did he though?!" Starlight lit up her horn and sliced through the cage which allowed her to break free. Chrysalis saw this and yelled to the legion "GET HER!" All three of them started blasting their magic at her and she teleported from place to place while also sticking out her tongue at them which was taunting, but I didn't care. Starlight finally appeared before us and Applejack said "Get Twilight!" I don't think so. She's needed us and right now, she needs me as well.

Starlight said "No way! She's always needed you guys!" She is true. Suddenly, Starlight flew up into the air and released a large magic wave that released all of us from the cages. I walked right out and my scepter lit up again since it was free from any control of other magic. It took a lot out of her and when Chrysalis saw what she was doing, she blasted her to the ground and it left a burn mark on her back. Celestia stood on top of her to protect her and Luna stood next to Celestia. The latter said "Find Twilight. We might not have our magic, but we aren't completely outless! We'll hold them off as long as we can!" Okay then. The three of them charged at the Legion of Doom and we stood back in shock. Rainbow said "That was a pretty epic makeup." Save the apologies for later! We have a kingdom to save! Discord said "Just save Equestria! And keep Fluttershy safe!" Will do, Discord. I'll make sure Fluttershy doesn't get too hurt for ya. We started running towards the exit and Discord went in to join the fight. Hope things go okay in there.

We made it towards the exit and it was blocked off by a bunch of bricks. I charged up my scepter and blasted them away which created some dust, but quickly faded away. Once it did, we stepped out and went into the street. There was some random pony there that saw us and said "Why are you out in the open?! HIDE!" Why should I? I face the danger, not run from it. Rarity was confused and asked "Where is everypony?" They are probably hiding because of the distrust going around and the weather has changed as well. The pony said "The unicorns have been gathering in Celestia's School of Magic since the attack. That's where I headed when I saw you." Oh yeah. Probably all the citizens saw the castle get destroyed by a giant magic blast from very familiar creatures and hid in fear. Rainbow asked "What about the Earth Ponies and Pegasi?" They're probably doing the same thing. The pony said "It's everypony for themselves." That's just wrong, but it shows you how easy it is to get ponies to turn on each other. It really should be a lot harder, but it isn't for some stupid reason. Applejack said "That ain't right." No it isn't, but these ponies simply don't care. They're only acting on natural instinct and not the truth. The pony seemed offended and said "Well, you all can stand out here and debate. I'm going where I'm safe." Whatever. I rolled my eyes and we watched that pony head inside the School of Magic. Yeah, to be honest, that is not the safest building in Equestria.

But let him think what he thinks. Don't even bother. There's no point in that. Spike said "Chrysalis was telling the truth. They really have turned ponies against each other!" Of course Chrysalis was telling the truth. I knew that all along because I witnessed that happening and was quite angry with it. Fluttershy hid behind Pinkie and Applejack said "Everypony's scared, that's all. We just need to get to Ponyville and find Twilight pronto! She'll know how to set things right!" I hope so. We all headed out of Canterlot and ran straight for Ponyville! I flew as fast as I could because we had to hurry. There is no time to waste and I can't let a kingdom fall to three of Equestria's worst villains. I saw that ponies in Ponyville were gathering at Town Hall and it left the Mayor in distress since she had no idea how to handle this crisis whatsoever. I heard the Mayor say "Please stay calm! I know it seems bad, but there's no need to panic!" To these ponies, that doesn't sound very reassuring. One of the ponies yelled "Give us one good reason not to!" She has a point.

All the ponies started protesting angrily and then the Mayor saw us coming. She sighed in relief and said "Because Ponyville's own heroes of Equestria are here to save us!" Really? We had to be stealthy here. Now everypony knows we're here. The crowd turned to look at us and Applejack asked "Where'd all these ponies come from?" Because of the fear going around, they're trying to look somewhere safe to hide and wait until things pass over which that's not going to happen any time soon. Granny said "Earth Ponies pouring in looking for somewhere safe." Makes sense. That same pony that shouted to Mayor Mare said "We don't have unicorn magic to protect us or a city in the sky to hide in like those cowardly pegasi!" Clearly, you are just being driven by hate here. Rainbow took offense to that and said "Cowardly?!" Suddenly, the sky started to change and Cloudsdale was being hidden away. The pony said "They're blocking Cloudsdale! Said they didn't want any ground ponies up in their business!" This pony needs to be set straight. Rainbow was about to teach her a lesson and said "Listen up buddy!" I got between both of them and said "ENOUGH! Unless if you all want to get KILLED by Chrysalis and the others, I suggest that you stop the bickering because it will only make things worse and give the villains more power which will result in all of us being WIPED FROM THE EARTH!" The crowd gasped in horror and started to panic even more which really didn't help.

Another pony yelled "You better fix this!" Then, the crowd started shouting angry protests again which made us back up. Applejack said "Twilight's probably just as worried as everypony else and trying to find somewhere safe. That's why I was sure she'd be waitin' for us in Ponyville. Where else could she be?" The Crystal Empire. A lightbulb clicked inside my head and I said "Follow me! We must head north!" We all took off to the Crystal Empire and we opened the throne room doors. Cadence saw us and said "Oh thank Celestia you're all alright. She's upstairs. It's not good." I figured as much. We all went to the room she was in and opened the door. Twilight saw us and said "You're here?" Yes we are. We all went in for a hug and I wrapped my wings around them just because I can. "I was so worried!" So was I. Even with all this power I have, I still worry about your safety in these situations. "Where are the Princesses?" Well… They're back in Canterlot because long story short, Starlight was able to free us and Celestia told us to make a run for it. So yeah.

Pinkie said "They put up a crazy fight so we could escape and find you!" Basically what I said. "Mission accomplished! Now let's save Equestria!" I would love to do that right around now. Twilight backed away and said "They made a terrible mistake. You all did." How so? "From the second I got away, I've searched every book, scroll, and spell for a way to rescue you and stop Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy, but I haven't found anything! I failed." No you didn't. We were all able to break free of their prison and I have a way to stop the Legion of Doom. Spike came up to her and said "You'll come up with something. We can't save Equestria without you." He is right. For this to work, I need your presence so the spell could work. Twilight looked at us and said "You escaped without my help. You didn't need me then. So why would anypony need me now?" Don't even dare think like that. I said "That's what the darkness wants you to think. It wants you to think that you have no significance anywhere and have made no impact. Things might be bad right now, but that doesn't give you an excuse to give up trying." Twilight looked at me and said "Look around. Nothing we've ever done has mattered!" Oh really? I seem to think otherwise. You gave Celestia her sister back, you were able to reform Discord, you stopped Canterlot or the Crystal Empire from being taken over, you defeated a power hungry centaur, you gave the Pillars their friend back, and you inspired the young six to stop an evil filly.

Twilight went over to the bulletin board and looked at the pictures that hung there. "Sombra returned and destroyed the Tree of Harmony." Yes, but the power comes from within, not from the Elements itself. "Chrysalis, Tirek, Cozy Glow returned more powerful than ever! The School of Friendship shut down. Everypony in Equestria is so blinded by fear they can't remember what friendship is! Nothing we do makes any difference!" That is not true whatsoever. You need to approach it from a different angle. Twilight smacked her head on the desk and Pinkie said "But we're still free and together!" That is true. Rainbow said "And it's not like things could get any worse." WHY MUST YOU PONIES SAY THAT?! YOU ARE NEVER SUPPOSED TO SAY THAT! NOW YOU HAVE CURSED YOURSELF BY SAYING THAT! As soon as she said that, we heard whinnies come from outside. I know that kind of sound. Only one creature makes that kind of noise. We opened the window and there was a cold wind that started to blow from it. Wendigos. It's been a long time since those creatures last made an appearance.

That was over 10,000 years ago. This was before the founding of Equestria, so this was a long time ago. But this is the first time I'm getting to see them. They are a lot more terrifying up close than on a computer screen or TV. I had hoped to never see these creatures in my lifetime, but I guess I was wrong. Spike said "Haven't we learned never to say that by now?" I have for years. Probably ever since middle school, I knew never to say that kind of thing because every time I did, something bad did happen. I basically cursed myself and it made things miserable for me. We all stared there in silence and Rainbow said "We have to do something!" We need to evaluate that first. Twilight turned around and said "I've already done enough." That's it. It's time to give Twilight some tough love here. Rarity closed the window and I said "You want the truth, Twilight? Bad things are going to happen. That's part of life. No matter how hard you try, there is never going to be a time where everything is perfect in the world. But that doesn't mean you can just give up trying!" Twilight looked at me and said "What if I make things worse?!" You won't. "Ever since Celestia told me that Zach and I were taking over, I've been gaining confidence. But then I find out it's all a lie! Equestria's been falling apart around us and I didn't even notice. What kind of princess does that make me? I'm scared." A princess that makes mistakes just like everyone else.

Twilight had tears falling from her face and leaned up against me. I wrapped my paw around her and I put a wing over her back to try and comfort her the best I could. Fluttershy walked over and lifted up Twilight's face. She said "I'd probably know more about being scared than anypony." I can imagine that being the case. "But thanks to all of you, I've learned I'm always less scared when I'm with my friends." I can see how that's the case. Rainbow came over and said "If we're facing impossible odds, we're facing them together!" That's right. Rarity came over and said "That's what we always do darling." Pretty much. Twilight said "But we're on our own and we have no idea what to do." I have an idea, but there needs to be a certain elephant in the room that has to be fully addressed before we can move on. Pinkie slid down in front of Twilight and said "That's true pretty much every time something terrible's about to happen!" She is correct. Twilight stepped over her and said "We don't have the Elements of Harmony anymore!" That doesn't matter.

"How can you all be so calm about this?" There's one simple answer. Spike said "Because even if you don't believe you can do this, we do. We believe in you. In us." I said "The thing is that Equestria wouldn't be the same if you all hadn't met and defended this nation countless times. None of our lives would be the same either. We are much better off with our friendship with you. So even though you say you have made no impact, that's just not true. You've made a big difference to all of us. Even me." Twilight smiled and shed some more tears, but tears of happiness this time and not sadness. She said "Thank you. Sometimes, even the Princess of Friendship needs a reminder that there's more to the magic of friendship than rainbow lasers." Yeah, but that part is pretty cool. Spike basically said my thoughts out loud by saying "Although, that part is pretty cool." Twilight hugged Spike and we all went in for another group hug. Twilight said "We still need a plan." I have one ready. Suddenly, the door opened and Cadence said "That sounds like the pony I used to foalsit for. Count us in." That would be great, but the creators for some reason, don't want you involved. Sad really, but whatever. Twilight walked over and said "No, you need to stay here and protect Flurry Heart. If we don't… if things don't work out. She's Equestria's last hope." That's pretty brutal if you think about it. Shining shed some tears and Twilight walked back towards the center of the room.

"Okay, three of our worst villains have taken over. Powered up by ancient magic. Everypony in Equestria is so scared and divided that the Wendigos are circling and it's up to us to fix it all." Pretty much. Pinkie yelled "What are we gonna do Twilight?!" The same thing we always do. Twilight looked at Pinkie and said "The same thing we do every time Pinkie. Try to save the world!" That's the spirit! We left the Crystal Empire and headed straight for Canterlot. But, we wanted to take the back way through the fields instead of the normal way. As we were approaching, I did notice Chrysalis and Tirek arguing, probably about the Wendigos in the sky, and Cozy Glow was wearing a blanket because of how cold it was. It's freezing out here, but I used a spell that makes my fur act like a heater inside a house so I won't get cold in this weather. Finally, Cozy Glow saw us coming and they prepared to meet us. Spike said "You think they know we're here?" I believe so. I said "Oh they definitely know. They can see us from up there and I can see them from down here."

After I said that, a yellow and black portal appeared and the Legion of Doom walked out of there with the bell behind them. Applejack said "I'd say they have an idea." I think so. Me, Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie, and Rainbow all had glares on our faces ready to battle, while Rarity, Spike, and Fluttershy had worried expressions on their faces. Twilight said "That bell has Discord, Celestia, and Luna's magic inside. If they use it against us…" That's not going to be a very pretty sight. Discord's magic is so dangerous that if you end up in the crosshairs of it, it can leave some pretty devastating impacts on your body. Only harmonics magic can truly combat chaos magic without its user suffering bodily harm. Fluttershy said "Discord's magic is so chaotic, he's the only one who can use it." She is correct. Even Tirek said that taking all of Discord's magic would be madness since no other creature can control it like Discord can. Before we could come up with a response, Chrysalis opened her mouth and said "You just can't accept that you were beaten before you even realized there was a fight, can you?" Shut up, you disgusting bug. I was about to fire off a remark, but Twilight said "You can't beat us if we never give up! As long as I have my friends by my side, I'll put my faith and frie-" before Cozy Glow interrupted and groaned in annoyance. She said "Can we get on with these please?!" I growled and said "How about you just shut the heck up?!" Cozy narrowed her eyes and snarled in anger.

She charged up her horn and sent that blast right towards me, but Twilight teleported us away before I could react. She said "We need to get that bell and give Discord and the Princesses their magic back." Yeah, we do. Because as long as those three have that bell, they're almost considered unstoppable. "Rainbow Dash, Zach, and Pinkie, you're with me." Okay then. What is it we need to do? Rainbow said "Sweet! I'll grab that bell in ten seconds-" before Twilight interrupted and said "No. We're the distraction. They're gonna get the bell." Perfect. I'm very good at being a distraction. Besides Discord, I'm the best option when it comes to a distraction. I heard a noise and also heard Chrysalis say "Come out, come out, wherever you are." Oh, I'll show you my presence. Cozy Glow looked around and said "THERE!" We charged at them and the Legion of Doom started blasting magic at us. I was in my shadow form behind Twilight, Rainbow, and Pinkie, so whatever magic that got blasted at me would go right through me.

I also looked like Sombra, so I weaved in and out of the magic blasts with relative ease. Rainbow went after Cozy, and before Tirek could go after Rainbow, Twilight teleported in front of him and charged up her horn. Which left me and Pinkie with Chrysalis. I'll take care of her first, and then let Pinkie take the rest of it from there. Tirek threw some rocks at Twilight, but she dodged all of them and blasted him straight in the face, knocking him down and punching out a couple teeth. He got back up and followed Twilight. Chrysalis stood there with an angry glare and I made my presence known. I snarled for a second before teleporting in the air and shooting out the biggest magic blast I have ever done. I did it the same way Twilight did in her last fight with Tirek in the Season 4 finale. The only difference is that the size of the magic beam is double than what it was back then. After a few seconds, it expanded and I pushed her back with all the might I had which eventually sent Chrysalis flying. The rest of them were shocked, but Chrysalis quickly came back. I opened my mouth and a large red magic beam came out of it which already added to the permanent third degree burns the last magical blast left. Chrysalis was so furious, she was about to explode. I heard her say "YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT, YOU MONSTROUS BEAST!" WHAT?! OH NOW IT'S ON! Chrysalis fired off her magic and I fired off mine. It met in the middle and the stalemate lasted about two seconds before mine overtook hers quite easily.

It pushed her back a bit, but she quickly recovered. It eventually turned into a full on battle. Chrysalis was able to get some hits on me, but I was generally winning this battle with no problem whatsoever. It ended with one last blast from both sides and it turned into dragon ball Z. I made sure I made her pay for calling me a monstrous beast. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE gets to call me that at all! Not even my worst enemies! I said "Take it away Pinkie." Pinkie nodded and made her move. She said "Step right up, evil fillies and gentile villains! Try a lap!" Chrysalis growled in frustration and tried blasting Pinkie to pieces, but Pinkie was too quick. She was able to dodge all of Chrysalis's blasts with relative ease and not worry about getting hit. "Missed me! Close, but no cherry chimichanga!" Eww, I don't want to know what that tastes like. "Thanks for playing!" Chrysalis was confused for a second, but disintegrated the doll that Pinkie held in her hoof. Pinkie smiled nervously and ran away. Chrysalis growled and chased after her.

I took off after Chrysalis and bit her a couple of times which made me stronger. I also used fangs to attack Chrysalis as well which she definitely winced in pain because of that. I heard Cozy Glow say "Do they have be so annoying?!" Yeah, we do. It's all part of a distraction. Chrysalis noticed what was happening and said "Not annoying, DISTRACTING!" Dang it! Chrysalis caught onto what was going on! You'll pay for that! The Legion of Doom blasted their magic at Applejack, Rarity, Spike, and Fluttershy, but they got away. Chrysalis charged after them and hit Spike in the back. Rarity stopped and put up a shield against Chrysalis's beam of magic. Unfortunately, she wasn't as strong as me or Twilight were and the shield broke. Chrysalis closed in on Rarity, but I came in and blasted Chrysalis on the side with my magic. Chrysalis snarled at me and started attacking me which gave Rarity and Spike time to run away. I noticed Applejack was running from Tirek and avoiding his magic blasts while holding a rope in her mouth. She lassoed onto the bell and tried pulling it, but the bell had a lot of resistance on it, so it didn't move. Tirek quickly came over and snapped the rope in two before yeeting Applejack away like a trash can. Fluttershy started flying past Tirek to get to the bell, but before Tirek could catch up to her, Cozy Glow came flying in next to her and said "Now now, professor. We all know you're not the fast one!" Cozy lit up her horn and blasted Fluttershy with her magic.

It sent her falling backwards and Rainbow caught her. Chrysalis said "ENOUGH! Or the dragon's wings get plucked!" You wouldn't dare. If you harm him, Twilight will basically murder you in broad daylight. Spike started wincing in pain and Twilight said pleading, "Please, don't hurt him!" Chrysalis didn't care and kept going. Spike said "Don't worry about me! Just save- AGH!" His wings were about to snap, but then the group gave up in defeat as they just couldn't watch. Chrysalis threw Spike over to Twilight and Tirek said "Turns out that the Magic of Friendship is your biggest weakness. A fitting end to your pathetic story." I'll show you pathetic story. The group all gathered together and Rainbow said "No matter what, we face it together!" That's right. While she was saying that, the Legion of Doom charged up beams of magic and I created a white circle below me with my eyes white ready to blast them to oblivion and having a glare on my face. It looked exactly like how Nightmare Moon did it before she was banished to the Moon when Celestia arrived with the Elements.

Eventually, the Legion fired off their magic, and I responded with mine. If they want to hurt them, they'll have to get through me first! If I don't make it, I want it to be for me to die in battle knowing that Equestria will be safe once more. Suddenly, there was a shield that surrounded my friends and that was good news. Whoever did that came just in time. I heard Spike ask "What happened? Can I open my eyes?" I think so. You seem fine. Applejack said "You sure can." All of them opened their eyes and saw they were protected by a magical shield while also noticing me blasting magic at the Legion of Doom. "Way to go, Twilight!" It's not her. The Legion stopped their magic flow in shock and I stopped mine as well. Twilight said "It's not me." She is correct. They all turned around and noticed that all of Equestria had come to save them and defeat this threat together. Chancellor Neighsay sent out a signal, and Wonderbolts, Changelings, Yaks, Dragons, and Griffons all charged toward the Legion of Doom while the unicorns performing the shield spell picked up my friends and brought them to safety. It's kinda interesting seeing the Changelings fight against their old Queen. Tirek said "Don't let them escape!" Oh, we will all right. Cozy got on top of Tirek and said "Which ones?!" Everyone. The Legion tried fighting all of the creatures down there, but they simply couldn't keep up.

Anyway, the shield expanded and Thorax said "The Changelings won't fool them forever and I don't know how long the unicorn shield will hold." If that becomes a problem, I can fix it with little to no effort whatsoever. Twilight was completely perplexed at this sighting and said "I don't understand. How are you all here?" Just wait. Gallus said "That's kinda our fault." But it's a good thing. Smolder said "You know those long lectures about friendship you gave in school?" Yep, I remember that quite well. Each of them told their story about how they rallied every creature together based on what they learned at the School of Friendship and brought them to the battle sight outside of Canterlot. After that, Applejack said "How about that? It's just like you said the day you opened that school." Wait for it. Spike said "The more creatures who know about friendship, the safer we'll be." That's very true in a lot of ways. Honestly, I think the United States could learn a lot of good lessons about how to not be so divided and fix up the country. I'm looking at you, corrupt democratic party. You better be taking notes here.

Pinkie said "We told you we had it all figured out!" Yeah, I guess so. Before Twilight could say anything, creatures started hitting the shield nonstop and it brought so much force that the unicorns couldn't hold it anymore. The shield broke and every creature started to worry. I looked down below and saw that the Legion of Doom created a giant shockwave in the ground to send all the creatures out of their way. The three of them growled and started charging towards the mountain. I've had enough. I flew up and blasted a giant beam of magic at them to get them to stop. It worked and Twilight said "Enough! Because of you, I almost lost my way! But every creature here has reminded me of the true power of friendship!" Yeah, it took a lot of convincing. "There will always be darkness in the world, but there will also always be those who find the light." That's how the universe ended up. Because of Satan, sin exists everywhere whether that's here in Equestria or back home on Earth. "The Pillars knew this. That's why they created the Elements of Harmony." To keep Equestria in harmony in their absence in Limbo. "The Elements showed me and my friends how strong our friendship could be." Very powerful indeed, that's for sure. "Together, we worked to bring Harmony to Equestria." Even though I was late to the party, I contributed in a big way as well.

"But there will always be more to do." Yes, there will be. The work of maintaining harmony in Equestria never takes a break. It is always at work here in Equestria. "Which is why we teach others about the magic of friendship. Others who will continue our mission after we are gone." Yeah, we won't be around forever, so we must pass down the torch to others to finish what we started when we are no longer here. All three groups were brought up to meet Twilight while glowing. "Now I truly understand. The Elements were just symbols. The real magic has always been right here." That's how it's been since the very beginning when this world was created. "And the more who understand how powerful friendship is, the stronger we will all be. Together!" Twilight's eyes finally glowed white, and the Pillars, my friends, and the Young Six shot rainbow beams up to me and my crown and scepter connected it to Twilight who took the magic and shot up some more in the air banishing the Wendigos for good. The final element. The scepter was the last one that's still around. They shall never return ever again.

All three villains stood there in shock and Cozy said "This is bad, isn't it?" Yep, and you're going down for good! The rainbow beam came raining down on the Legion of Doom and they got reverted back to their original forms. The sky was clear again and the beam stopped. Cozy Glow was now back to a pegasus, Tirek was in his weakest form, and Chrysalis was back to the way she was since she was first introduced back seven seasons ago. Anyway, Chrysalis growled and said "You think friendship will save you?! WE WILL ALWAYS RETURN! NOTHING WILL EVER STOP-" before a giant cupcake landed on top of them and chocolate rain appeared. Spike took a lick and said "Chocolate rain?" Don't even look at Discord. The Princesses flew over and Starlight teleported Discord over. He said "Don't look at me." Seriously, it's not him. But they didn't care. Anywho, it was actually Pinkie and Twilight said "Pinkie, you took Discord's magic from the bell?" Apparently so. "How do you feel?" She looks fine to me. Pinkie said "Hmm. Tingly, itchy, also like… *grows to very large size and says deeply* I COULD TRANSFORM THE COSMOS SO EVERYTHING IS MADE OF ICING!" Okay then. Someone needs to take that away from her. Discord came up and said "Perhaps maybe I should…" Yeah, you should do that. Discord flew up and took the magic away from Pinkie who shrunk back down and fell. Twilight caught her and Pinkie said "Where is some chaos in my soup?" Oh dear.

Discord pointed the bell towards himself and got his magic back. Then, he went to Celestia and Luna and they got their magic back as well. Also, they got their flowing manes back as well, so that's a plus. I saw all three villains come out of the cupcake and I slammed my paws down in furious rage and lightning and thunder went off. They were all trembling in fear as they might have seen the shadow of Sombra and Nightmare King in his regular form appear behind me. Anyway, I said "HOW DARE YOU COMMIT THIS CRIME AGAINST EQUESTRIA! YOU SHALL PAY FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE CAUSED! THERE ISN'T A PUNISHMENT WORTHY FOR THE DESTRUCTION YOU'VE LEFT BEHIND!" Celestia and Luna showed up behind me and they had angry glares on their faces as well. Discord whispered something to the three of us and I thought that was a genius idea. Luna said "Oh, that does seem fitting." I think so. They shall be trapped in there for the rest of their miserable lives. Discord said "May I help please?" Yeah, you can. The three of them charged up their magic and destroyed the cupcake.

After that, my eyes turned white and the scepter shot up rainbow magic into the air before raining back down onto the Legion of Doom and turning them to stone. The process was just like how the Mane Six defeated Discord in the season 2 premiere. Then, a giant white dome shook the ground and restored harmony in Equestria. I returned to normal and we looked at the statue. I know this isn't the best long term solution, but after what they have done, I shall spare them no mercy whatsoever. Justice needs to be served and they need to suffer the consequences, so that's what they get. "Together forever. I can't think of anything that they would want less." I still do think that Sawtooth Waves brought up a good point about this. Discord says that the Legion of Doom will be trapped in stone forever, but Celestia and Luna should know that's not true at all or else Discord would still be trapped in stone to this day. But, what's done is done. So, no more debating on that. Anyway, the crowd cheered and Celestia said to Twilight "When I sent you to Ponyville, I had high hopes. When you became Princess of Friendship, I knew I made the right choice. But nothing could prepare me for how proud I am right now." I can only imagine how proud you are as a mother figure, Celestia. "Equestria is definitely in the right hooves." I believe so. I'll make sure this is the best country the planet has ever seen.

I'll make it what the United States failed on because of incompetent people in Washington burning the country to the ground. Basically, it would be like this: Equestria: The country that the United States never could be. That's how it will be. I'll make it that way. "You are ready." I think so. Celestia and Luna bowed, followed by Discord. Twilight smiled and said "You know what? I think I am." It's about time. It took you this long to finally get it. But, better late than never. Applejack said "Thank goodness. First question, Your Highness. What do we do with all these creatures?" That's a good question. Pinkie said "We're gonna need a lot more chairs for the coronation!" I'll let Twilight make the call on that. Twilight looked up on the hill and said "Actually, as ruler of Equestria, I'd like to postpone the coronation for a while." Yeah, that's a good idea considering what we just went through. We kinda need a bit of a break. "At least until the castle's rebuilt." Yeah, can't rule in a castle that doesn't exist. "Besides, there's something we need to do first." Oh, and what would that might be? I'm quite curious.

We went to Pony Joe's and Rarity said "The post apocalyptic donuts. Interesting choice." I think so. And the best part is, we got a discount on these donuts since we have royalty here in the room. So, that's a bonus. Twilight said "I know, but there's gonna be plenty of time for all the challenges and struggles and adventures to come. For now, I just want to spend a quiet moment with the seven best friends I've ever had." Good luck with that. Applejack said "Well, mostly quiet." Yeah, as Pinkie over there is stuffing as many donuts as she can in her mouth. Silly Pinkie. Fluttershy said "It's like the end of an era." That's because it is. It's been that way for at least 1,000 years. Rainbow said "Or the beginning of an even more awesome era!" That too. Can't forget about that either. Twilight said "All I know is whatever comes next is going to be perfect." Not exactly, but I see your point. Spike asked "How do you know that?" I'll let Twilight answer that one. "With you guys by my side, how could it not?" Fair point. We all laughed for a bit before wrapping things up and heading back to Ponyville. I stopped for a quick second to check something and Twilight was concerned. "You okay, Zach?" I nodded and said "Yeah, I'll be coming in a sec." Twilight nodded and continued moving. I had a grin on my face and my eyes turned to dragon slits. I whispered "Equestria will soon be mine. Ha ha ha. HA HA HA!" Then the screen turned black with my dragon slits the last to go.

AN: HA! You think that I'll wrap things up with "The Last Problem" and call it a day? Of course not! There's still one more major detail that is missing. Haven't you guys noticed that Zachary and Twilight aren't married yet? Welp, we've come to the end and now, it's time to tell their love story. This is the surprise I have been storing for a long time. It was hard to wait. Now, it has finally come. But first, the Mane Six have to face one more threat before that can happen. It will be nothing Equestria has ever seen before and will shake the very foundation of this nation. Stay tuned for that in the next couple of days! Hope you enjoyed the chapter!

Next Chapter: The final villain! After Twilight gives Zachary a nice breakfast with a special flower in it to show her appreciation for him, he starts to feel weird. Eventually, he gets so mad that he turns into Nightmare King and wreaks havoc in Ponyville. The Main Six try to stop him, but he's just far too powerful. Will they be able to find a way to cure him and set Zachary free, or will Nightmare King bring Equestria to its knees?
