Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight or its original characters. No copyright infringement is intended with the posting of these outtakes.

A/N: If you read Roadies then you're familiar with how these work. First and foremost, they're not beta'd, so heads up. You'll also want to read each outtake *after* you've read it's corresponding chapter so they'll make sense, as they won't flow from one to the next the same way the main story does.

For this story I'll update with a new outtake every time I update Bored but the outtakes will always be 5 behind on FFn. Of course, you can still get them quicker by leaving me your words in a review which is how I like to say saying thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me after reading a chapter. :)

Enjoy!

BORED OUTTAKE
Chapter 10

...EDWARD…

You know those moments in your life?

The ones that trigger an out of body experience making you wonder if you've somehow ended up on someone else's path… somewhere you don't belong... but you can't stop yourself from moving forward… at least not without it paining you?

Yeah, that's me right now.

Hell, this has been me every damn day since the moment I met Bella.

My mind is literally racing while I walk through the woods with her brother.

Emmett won't stop prattling on about his sister's 'ridiculously immature behavior', and I'm doing my best, pretending to listen, but all I can focus on right now is figuring out a way to get her alone as soon as we get to the field.

We need to talk.

Bella and me.

We need to talk without any interruptions.

I spent all day rehearsing the words in my head, never once thinking she'd be able to take off before I'd get my chance to actually say them.

When we arrive at the party it doesn't take long for the whispers to start.

This isn't surprising.

I'm a visitor in a small town with less than seven hundred people.

I'd all but expected to receive some unwanted attention tonight, which is why I need to watch myself while I'm stealing glances at Emmett's sister.

Seeing Bella in her natural habitat amongst her friends, simply living without hesitating is slightly jolting, but only because I wish I could be the one sitting beside her without any hard limits or precautions hanging over us.

I'm smiling to myself after hearing her laugh when the guy she's sitting with suddenly tugs on her hand to bring her on top of him.

I watch his arms snake around her body and feel my blood begin to boil seeing the tips of his fingers linger where they shouldn't.

Bella doesn't flinch.

Shit, she doesn't even seem bothered or surprised by him touching her.

In fact, she seems rather pleased about being there… in his lap… with her back pressed into his chest as if she belongs to him.

Shit.

This is what you get for blinking, and waving a caution flag, Cullen.

Happy now?

It's when he starts rubbing his hands up and down her thighs, that's when I feel my throat tighten up to the point I can barely swallow.

My best friend's barely legal sister has become my achilles heel, but I've already decided I'm going to tear the tendon no matter how much it ends up maiming me.

I couldn't just let her run off to fuck me from her memory, but I did and now it seems I might have some competition.

Lesson learned, Bella isn't very patient.

Still, it's surprising to see her so relaxed when just yesterday she was too scared to stand in the backyard with her life long best friend.

My eyes narrow as a new realization begins to settle in my head... She's drunk... Not wasted, but definitely tipsy enough to make some bad decisions.

How I didn't notice this before is beyond my temperament at the moment.

Right now all I can think about is staying calm while I watch the girl I'm falling for fall all over someone elses touch.

Emmett's suddenly grumbling beside me.

I blink hard and look away from his sister to take the beer he's offered.

"What the hell is my sister doing with Garrett Denali?"

"Dunno. They seem to know each other pretty well though."

"Bullshit. That guy was a walking STD back when we went to high school together. Every other week it was a different girl, but he always kept them all on a regular rotation. It was twisted, man."

Super.

Not the news I want to hear, but I manage to remain nonreactive by turning my head to scan the rest of the masked faces that are standing around lost in their own reckless moments.

"You were right, bro. It's good we came, because I'm gonna have to kill him if he doesn't get his fucking hands off of my sister."

"Eh, it's probably best if you don't stick your nose directly into her business tonight."

Emmett growls a few expletives under his breath and then he shifts his weight beside me, "I don't get it. Why does she insist on constantly hooking up with these assholes? Shit… do you think he's Finn? Do you think she'd use an alias so I wouldn't freak out over her being with someone I used to hang out with?"

Hearing Emmett use my own nickname in reference to someone else almost makes me smile.

"I suppose that's a possibility, but I wouldn't confront her about it. I don't think she's very sober at the moment. Fact of the matter is, she's free to do what she wants now. Lockdown is over, Em. You've gotta find a way to respect that she's all grown up, but still be her brother."

This only frustrates my buddy more, but his frustrations are nothing in comparison to my own right now so I'm really hoping he'll drop it because I'm already feeling like a complete asshole while I feed him these lines.

I feel my shoulders finally relax when someone steps up to redirect Emmett's attention, stealing him from our own conversation to talk about where he's been for the last four years and if he's moved back home for good.

Just as I'm able to steal another glance in Bella's direction, her own gaze shifts to catch me watching her.

It's her eyes that give her away.

She's surprised, and not very happy, but I have to wonder if her contempt is because I'm here, or if it's because she knows she doesn't belong in that fuckboys lap with his twitchy fingers all over her.

I want to believe it's the latter, but something tells me she's not about to make any of this easy for me… no, that wouldn't be Sawyer's style.
