Routine

7 A.M...

It was nearing 7 at the naval base, many are still asleep, unaware of the chaotic day coming. Though many are still in bed, those who are stricter and more uptight about routine are already out and about starting their day. One of them was Kaga of the famed and feared 1st Carrier Division. Unlike her sisters Akagi and Amagi, she woke up an hour earlier to have breakfast, patrol the base before the day starts, and train. Though not before preparing breakfast for her still sleeping sisters. After leaving, Kaga patrols around, always starting from the center of the base where mostly everything is from the academy to shops and other establishments. While starting from there, she picks a random direction from yesterday and starts walking. After the patrol is done, she goes to the training grounds to improve her skill though she doesn't need it. She is one out of many skilled ship-girls who don't need training, though practice makes perfect was always their reasoning.

Meanwhile...

"AHHHHHHHH!" rang out a scream.

From a rift that opened up from the sky, a girl fell through to the ground. She tumbled down a few branches and other things as she fell into a forest. As she landed with an "umph" sound, she picks herself up and brushes off the debris.

"Geez, why did they have to mess up the location?" the girl questioned aloud.

"It's not like them to mess up often, and when it did, it never usually goes this bad." the girl says aloud once again.

"Well whatever, guess I'll have to look for dad since I don't think mom's very well liked in this time."

After the girl was done talking to herself, she looks around to see where she is.

"Hmm, it seems like I landed in the forest right near the training grounds. And if that's the case, the office should be nearby."

With that, she walks to where the office presumably is until an authoritative voice called out to her.

"It seems like one of the Siren elites came here to cause some trouble. Isn't that right, Purifier?" a voice of a woman said to her.

Awhile back with Kaga...

Near the training ground, Kaga can be seen practicing hand-to-hand combat on a dummy as releasing her planes will wake everyone up. Though the ship-girls have superhuman strength and endurance, unable to put said abilities to use reliably can be lethal. As one of the commission group sent out a year before came back with nothing and some minor injuries. They recounted the story that they spotted Mass Produced Siren ships a few miles in front of them. They got the orders to either engage or go on at through a vote, many were bored and wanted to action, so they engaged. It was going well until a portal opened up behind the main fleet and the humanoid Sirens came out to engage them as well. Being overwhelmed, the flagship of the commission Edinburgh ordered to retreat as most of the vanguard was rowdy destroyers that didn't know how to throw a punch properly. The commander and Belfast greeted them as they came back, noticing the injuries on them. Edinburgh told the commander what happened, he reflected upon it and thought of an idea. It's simple really, to put melee combat as mandatory training as well. He gathered up all the girls on the base to the gym of the academy like a pep rally to announce his decision. He heard many groans and protests, but mostly from the destroyers. Many of the more "mature and older" girls looked indifferent and passive about the news. Kaga was broken out her thoughts as she heard a shrill scream from above her. In the sky, a rift that looks Siren-esque opens up and she sees a figure with a striking resemblance to Purifier falling towards the ground. Acting upon instinct of seeing a Siren, she activates her rigging and rushes to where "Purifier" fell.

Back to "Purifier" and Kaga...

"It seems like one of the Siren elites came here to cause some trouble. Isn't that right, Purifier?" Kaga asked.

"Purifier" froze up and didn't look behind her, she didn't want to look behind her as she knows what Kaga can do when provoked, she's seen it happen.

Kaga stood there with her rigging while looking at the girl, she noticed that "Purifier" was shorter than what they encountered last time.

"You have two options. One, I kill you and dispose of you. Or two, choose to live and hand over any useful information and data you have of your kind." Kaga stated coldly.

"Purifier" turned around, expecting to see bright yellow eyes and a manic and cheery smile, Kaga was greeted with very vivid light brown eyes full of fear and a trembling smile.

"I- I'll choose op-option two ple-please." "Purifier" stammered out before fainting from her injuries.
