We have reached the last official chapter, but there will be a brief epilogue to follow! So let me leave you off on some fluff mixed in with some good old fashioned EO smut after all that damn angst and emotion...we deserve it lol
Sunday night, they were sitting in the living room. Olivia was lying down on the couch, throwing popcorn up in the air and catching it. Elliot was sitting in front of her, his head resting against her belly.
"Hit me." He tilted his head back farther and opened his mouth.
Olivia giggled ang threw one up in the air, he caught it with ease, "Nice."
Elliot sighed and reached back for her hand, "Man, I wish everyday could be like this."
She reached for his beer and took a long sip from it, "What? You mean a day filled with nothing but snacks, beer and sex?"
He snagged the beer back from her and took the last sip, "Hell yeah. Much better than blood, death and listening to John Munch tell us tales about how the CIA is out to get us and watching Fin try and kill him."
She laughed and ran her fingers through his hair, "True. I'd definitely pick this over that." She paused for a moment, "Although…"
He reached behind him and squeezed her hand, "I know Liv. I know. I'm going to miss it too."
She sighed, turned on her side and looked down at him, "You said Cragen kind of already knew…"
Elliot turned his head, kissed the palm of her hand and nodded, "He figured it out on his own." He laughed, "I don't think we've been hiding it as well as I thought we were over the last few years."
She tucked her arm under her and lay her head against it, "Yeah well...it wasn't easy."
He sighed, placed the beer down on the table and moved the bowl of popcorn away from her side. Settling in above her, he smiled, "No it wasn't. Which is why I don't want to hide it anymore, Liv. I want the world to know you're mine."
She smiled shyly and touched his face, "El…"
He frowned and leaned closer to her, holding himself up on his forearms, "What? What's wrong?"
She sighed but shook her head, "Nothing's wrong." He gave her another look and she smiled, "I'm just not used to hearing you say things like that. It's not...what we've done in the past. It's just new…"
He nodded slowly, "New bad?" She shook her head again, "Well good. Because you're going to have to get used to it." He leaned down and pressed his lips to her cheek, her nose and then her lips, "We're going to be doing a lot of things we haven't done before."
She swallowed the nervous lump in her throat, "Like?"
He smiled coyly at her, "Like for starters...I'm taking you out on a real date as soon as I can." Her eyes went wide and he laughed, "Did you think I was only going to offer you take out and late night sex?"
She laughed, "I like takeout and late night sex. Or morning sex, afternoon sex, any time of day sex is fine with me."
He smiled against her neck, "Me too. But…" He pulled away and curled in beside her, turning her body to face him, "I'm taking you out. I'm going to do things for you."
She laughed a little, "Like what?"
He reached across, and twirled a lock of her hair between his fingers, "Like hold the door open for you. Bring you flowers. Leave you little notes. Treat you to a candle lit dinner. Spoil you rotten whenever I can."
Her cheeks flushed and she looked away from him, "You don't have to do that."
He watched her carefully. Saw the emotions play across her face. He knew this was all new territory for her. Not just because it was him. She hadn't been treated the way she deserved. Most men had used her for one thing and one thing only. No one had loved her. Cherished her the way she deserved. And if it took him the rest of his life, he was going to prove to her just how much she deserved.
Tilting her head up, he looked straight into her eyes, "I want too."
She scrunched up her nose and touched his chest, tracing the line of his collarbone, "But why? We've known each other for eight years. We've-"
"We've known each other as partners for eight years. But we haven't known each other as…" He paused looking for the right word, then he paused and smiled, "Huh…"
She looked at him curiously, "What?"
He smirked and rolled on top of her again, "It just occurred to me...I haven't gotten anything official from you."
She frowned and adjusted her weight under him, "What do you mean official?"
He smiled and touched her face, "An agreement. A verbal agreement."
She rolled her eyes, "Elliot I have no idea what you are talking about. Just spit it out."
He chuckled and leaned down to kiss her, with his lips just an inch away from hers he asked, "Are we exclusive?"
She bit her lip and felt her heart start to pound in her chest, "I told you I wasn't with anyone else. That I don't want to be with anyone else."
Elliot nodded slowly and kissed her again, "So...you're my girlfriend?" He saw her smile grow wider, "My lover? My best friend? My partner?"
She sighed happily and nodded, "How about all of the above?"
He pulled back just slightly to look at her, "I like the sound of that."
Pulling him back towards her she kissed him hard, "Does it work both ways?" He smiled against her lips, "Am I your girlfriend? Your lover? Your best friend and partner?"
He kissed her sweetly, then pulled away and brushed her hair away from his face, "Liv? You're my everything."
She stared at him and suddenly everything made sense. This was exactly where she was always meant to be. Right here. With him. She felt overwhelmed with emotion. Biting down hard on her lip, she tried hard not to cry but she knew it was no use. But he only smiled, leaned in and kissed her again, understanding exactly what she was feeling.
The following morning, Olivia woke up before her alarm went off. It was quiet. Too quiet. Rolling over, she reached for Elliot but he was nowhere to be found. Her heart leapt in her chest. Sitting up, she looked towards the door and was about to call his name when he walked back in with only his boxers on and a smile on his face, "Hey. You're up."
She let out a little sigh of relief, "Hey. Yeah…" She brushed back her hair, "I-"
He smiled and sat down beside her, "Thought I left?" Her cheeks flushed and he leaned in to kiss her, "Nope. In fact...you're pretty much going to have to kick me out at this point. Although I do need some new clothes…" He laughed and looked at his boxers, "Not that we wear much of anything lately."
She nudged him and sighed, "Yeah...you probably need to get back to your place. To change before work…"
Elliot smiled and crawled over closer to her, he pulled her down on the bed, "Nah. We aren't going to work."
Olivia glanced at him anxiously, 'What do you mean we aren't going to work?"
He sighed and moved them so they faced each other, "I was on the phone with Cragen. Said we needed another day...to think about somethings. Make a plan." She saw him swallow hard, "He agreed. He said he's not going to say anything but we will have to meet with him and The Chief tomorrow morning."
"Oh." He saw the sadness in her eyes, but she thought for a moment and then looked at him, "Well I supposed it was inevitable. Think they'll transfer me out?"
He frowned and reached for her, hating to think of SVU without her, "I don't know. But I offered to go instead."
She sat up quickly, reached for his arm and gasped, "What? No. El-"
He put his hand up and sat beside her, "Liv...we don't know what their decision is. But I put it out there. I love my job. But I would be okay with doing something else. Maybe Homicide or Organized Crime." He lifted his hand and pressed it against her chest to feel the beating of her heart, "You Olivia, you were born to be at SVU. It's where you belong. And I'm not going to take that away from you."
She put her hand over his and whispered, "But I don't know how to do this without you."
He smiled softly at her, "Liv you've never needed me-"
"That's not true." She turned to face him, "What if I can't do this without you? El you're-"
"Liv." He sighed and put his hands on her shoulders, "I know you can do this. I've always known you can do this. With or without me. No one gets through to the victims like you do. They trust you in a way that they don't trust the rest of us. And you never ever stop until you get justice. This is where you belong."
Tangling her hand with his she whispered, "But...what about you?"
He shrugged, "It will be an adjustment, sure. But if they make one of us go I'm going. I've made the decision. And it's the right one. All I care about right now is you...and me. Our future. And to make that future happen...this may need to happen." She looked down and he tilted her chin, "Hey, it's going to be okay. Wherever I am, I'm still always going to be with you. Always."
"It's just...I don't want you to resent me. I don't want you to realize you made a mistake. I couldn't take it." Her voice cracked, "There's so much riding on this. On us."
"You're right." He nodded slowly, "There is. But that's what tells me it's important. And that this is the right decision. I really thought about it. And I'm good with it. I mean it. As long as you're still in...I'm okay to make this jump."
She looked at him, took in his face and wondered how she'd ever work without being able to see him beside her. Across from her. Feel the strength of him. Feel her safety net. But she realized he was right. They wouldn't be together at work, but they would still be together. Every night she would get to come home to this. To him. And that somehow made all the difference.
She leaned in and wrapped herself around him as he pulled them both back down to the bed, "Thank you El."
He smiled, kissed the top of her head and pulled the blanket up around her, "Nothing to thank me for Liv. Trust me. I'm getting everything I ever wanted."
Later that afternoon, they had gone to Elliot's apartment to get him some new clothes. They had decided to go back to her place because it was closer to the precinct. Elliot had fallen asleep again but Olivia was wide awake. She was standing in the shower, the hot water was pouring down on her. Her eyes were closed as she smoothed back her hair. Her body ached but in the best damn way. Smiling to herself, she thought about all that had happened. It still seemed like a dream. Friday she had felt like her world was coming crashing down around her. And since then, she had been given the chance to make it all right.
Elliot had fought for her. Claimed her as his own. Promised her a future. She was so lost in her thoughts, she didn't hear the shower curtain sliding across the metal pole. She jumped when she felt two strong hands on her back, "Just me."
She smiled and leaned back into him, "I thought you were asleep."
His hands slid up and down her wet torso, "I was. But then I had a dream...and I had to wake up and tell you about it." He smiled and nipped at her neck.
She moaned softly and reached behind her to touch his arms, "What kind of dream?"
He pressed himself into her ass and he growled, "The really, really good kind." He heard her chuckle, "In fact it involved this very shower."
Olivia smiled, lowered her hands and turned to look at him, "Oh yeah?"
Elliot bit his lip as he looked down at her, the water cascading over her curves, "Yeah…"
She took him by surprise as she turned him slowly and pressed his back against the tiled wall behind him, "Care to share it with the class Stabler?"
When her lips touched his chest he had to close his eyes, "Uh...I could but it seems like you've kind of got it figured out already."
She chuckled against his skin and began to lower her kisses, "I must be a mind reader. Or...you're just really predictable."
His eyes fluttered open as he saw her lowering herself to the floor of the tub, "Yeah well...you try sitting across from yourself for 8 years and then tell me that a million and one fantasies don't pop up in your head."
She knelt before him running her hands up and down his muscular thighs, "Fantasies huh?"
He watched her move closer to his cock and he wished he had something to grasp behind him, "Liv…"
She smiled, placed a gentle kiss against the tip of him, "Yes?"
He let out a strangled moan as her hand slid up the length of him, "Fuck. You are so God damn sexy."
She moved again and slowly began to take him in her mouth, moaning softly which sent a jolt of pleasure through his body. He jumped and she pulled back, reaching up she took one of his hands, "Relax El. Relax."
He squeezed his eyes shut, tilted his head back and sighed. This wasn't what he had expected. Not that she hadn't done this for him. Not that it wasn't exactly what his dream had entailed. But he wasn't used to this. Not just because it was Olivia. But because this wasn't a regular occurrence in the Stabler household. Olivia was like every fantasy he'd ever had in his life all coming true at the same time. Since their first night and every night afterwards, he found it hard to believe she was even real. Standing here in her shower, the water poured hard on him and her mouth moved so sensually he thought he might pass out. It was too much and yet he couldn't get enough.
Opening his eyes, he looked down at her realizing he didn't want to miss a minute of it. He knew he should tell her to stop. But he couldn't. He was so consumed by her. And when he looked down and saw her staring right back up at him with her brown eyes and his cock inside her mouth, he was lost. There was no way to stop this. He needed it. He needed her. He took his free hand and wound it in her wet hair, tugging, not to hard but just enough, "Fuck Liv...that feels so good."
She squeezed his hand in hers and then moved her other hand behind him to grab him from behind. She squeezed at the tight muscles, felt him tense but relax again as she continued moving, pulling him further into her mouth. She had never really enjoyed this. But then again...she had never been with Elliot Stabler until just a few months ago. She wasn't a prude by any means. She enjoyed sex. But it had never been like this. She wanted to please him just as much as he pleased her. Wanted him to want her the way she so desperately wanted him. And more than that, she enjoyed all of it. The looks, the touches, kisses, exploration. She never wanted it to end. Listening to him call her name, curse, feeling him tug on her hair, she knew she was doing everything right. And God if it didn't turn her on…
He sighed, "Liv...Liv you should-" She grabbed him harder, not letting him pull away, "Jesus Christ Olivia. I'm going to-"
His head fell back against the tiles and his mouth hung open, words were lost. He felt himself releasing in her warm mouth and she still didn't stop. He could see stars. He was almost afraid he was going to slip, his whole body was on fire. But she held him in place, kept him grounded and took all that he offered her. Looking down again, he saw her pulling away, she leaned back a little and smiled up at him, "So? Better than the dream or do I have things I can improve on?"
He laughed, leaned down and yanked her up onto her feet, "Olivia, any better and it will kill me."
"Well we don't want that." She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him, "I think I'd like to keep you."
His hands slid down her back, down over her hips to her ass and squeezed, "You have no fucking clue how much I want you. All the time." He sighed and kissed along her face and neck, "That's what made it all so hard…" He felt her tense and he pulled away, "I kept trying to find the right time to tell you I wanted more. But I'd get so lost in you. And I was afraid...I was so fucking afraid to lose you."
"And you had reason to be...I'm sorry." She pulled him closer, 'I'm so sorry El. That night...it was all just so overwhelming. I didn't let myself think that you would want…" She looked down at his lips, "I've wanted you for so long and yet...it was just too much. I'm sorry. I know I hurt you."
He let her take a moment, then gathered her closer to him, "We're here now. And you told me you weren't running. Is that still true?"
She smiled up at him as the water cascaded around him, "I couldn't run from this again El. Not from you."
He smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear, "I'm glad to hear that." He reached for her hips, and turned her quickly so she was facing the water, "Because I'm never letting you go."
She went to ask what he was doing but his hand fell against her lower back and pushed her forward, "Oh."
He smiled and ran his finger between her folds, "I can't help myself."
She reached for the shower knob and held on, "How are you-"
He chuckled and began to push himself inside of her, "Told you, eight years of fantasies Liv. I think you've broken something inside of me. I can't stop."
She chuckled and leaned forward more, "You're definitely not broken. Fuck." She felt him slam harder into her, "Jesus Christ Elliot…don't stop."
"Wasn't planning on it." He pulled back again and crashed her hips against his, "Olivia…"
She slipped one hand off the wall between her legs and touched herself, as she felt him continue to pound into her. The feeling of the water pouring down on her, him slamming his hips against hers, filling her completely, was overwhelming her senses. She gasped and had to move her hand away to hold on for leverage. "Elliot, please. Please. Fuck."
He reached out with one hand and grabbed her hair, twisting it in his hands, "Eight years Liv."
She stood up slightly and reached for him as he continued to move against her, he tugged harder on her hair, "You said you liked my hair."
He smirked and kissed her exposed neck, "You told me I shouldn't care. But fuck I do."
She pushed herself back into him making them both moan at the sensation, "I liked that you cared. I like knowing you find me attractive."
He huffed and pulled her flush against his chest, slowing slightly but never losing their contact, "Attractive? Olivia. You are the single most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I can't keep my eyes off of you. I need to look at you."
She straightened up causing him to slip out of her and he instantly began to protest. She turned and looked at him, "Okay." She smiled and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, "Then look at me."
That slow smirk spread on his lips and she shivered, lifting her up with ease he pressed her back against the tiles. Within a second, he was buried inside of her again. Their eyes locked and he smiled, "Hi."
She bit back a loud moan as he moved deeper, "Hi back."
He crushed her lips to his but kept his eyes open. He only pulled away when she started to moan louder, needed oxygen. He held her firmly in his left hand and braced himself against the back wall. He knew they were both close. He sighed and whispered, "Olivia...look at me."
Her brown eyes lifted to his and all he saw was love, want, need, no more shyness, just her giving herself to him, "Elliot…"
He kissed her hard, and breathed into her mouth, "I love you."
Her legs tightened around him as she cried out for him, his words ignited that passion inside of her that she had been looking for her whole life. "I love you too."
Her world shattered and she pulsed around him, clinging to him for dear life. But his grip on her never waivered. He held her close and pushed inside of her still. One more look into her brown eyes and he was a goner. Spilling himself inside of her he whispered her name over and over. Her breathing came in hard and fast and she touched his face, trying to calm herself, "So new rule...every time you have a really good dream like that you have to share."
Elliot chuckled and kissed her again, "So we can reenact them?"
Her legs slid down his sides, her feet settled on the slippery tub floor, "Exactly. That okay with you?"
He smiled and ran a hand up her arm, "More than."
She wrapped her arms around his waist and sighed, "The water's getting cold."
He reached behind her and turned the knob, "Okay. Then let me warm you up again."
She started to laugh as he stepped out of the tub, "Elliot…"
He wrapped a towel around his waist and then put his hands on her hips, lifting her and tossing her over his shoulder. He bit down on the side of her ass and smiled, "Told you. After eight years...I can't help myself."
She laughed all the way to the bedroom when he tossed her down. "I'm still wet!""
He smirked and lay over her, "Good. Makes my job easier."
Her laughter got louder as he crawled over her, "That's not what I meant and you know it."
He chuckled and kissed her cheek, "I know." Laying down beside her he sighed, "Alright, as much as I'd like to ravish you again I don't think I'm even that good."
She smiled and curled up against him, "Oh you're that good El. I promise."
He turned his head to her and smiled, "Hey Liv?" She gave him a smile and waited, "This is going to be good. You and me. It's going to be so good."
She lifted his arm, wrapped it around her shoulder and lay against this chest, "It already is El. It already is."
Olivia looked at the clock, it was close to 7:30pm. They were currently waiting for their pizza to be delivered. She couldn't remember the last time she had hid away in her apartment. Locked away with someone she loved. Then she smiled to herself, yeah she had never done this. But boy could she get used to it.
"What are you smiling about?" He asked as he lay down beside her again.
She looked at him and shook her head, "I was thinking about how I can't believe that I've been in my apartment since Friday night and it is now Monday night. This isn't me."
Elliot smirked, "That's because usually we don't have a life outside of work."
She sighed, "I know. But I feel like...normally even the idea of this...what we did this weekend. It would have scared the shit out of me."
"And now?" He reached for her hand and traced the lines on her palm.
"Now I think we're still insane but...I'm so happy. Happier than I thought was possible." She kicked him playfully, "Which means you're turning me into a sap."
He chuckled and pulled her closer, "Not turning you into a sap. Badass Benson is still there. You're just...growing. Maturing."
"Oh is that what I'm doing? I thought I was just getting laid regularly now so I've gotten nicer." She heard him snort against her neck.
"Jesus Olivia." He pulled away and looked at her, "What am I going to do with you?"
She shrugged and smiled innocently, "I don't know. What do you want to do with me?"
He sighed and looked down at her, "Love you Liv. I just want to love you."
Her cheeks flushed and she smiled, "Well you're doing a damn good job at that. Keep it up."
"Oh I plan too." He leaned into her neck again, "I also plan to make sure you're getting laid on the regular too though."
She was laughing as he kissed her neck, and felt the stubble beginning to grow on his cheeks. He hadn't shaved since sometime before he broke into her apartment of that she was sure but she loved it. The old her? It would have been freaking out that he had been here so long. But now? This...this was what she wanted forever. She heard the knock on the door and she pushed him away, "Pizza's here."
He growled and pulled her closer again, "Screw the pizza. I'm not hungry for food anymore."
She pushed him again and smiled, "I haven't eaten anything substantial in what feels like days. If you want to keep me around...you're going to have to keep me fed Stabler."
He smiled and pulled away to look at her, "Oh I want to keep you around Liv. I want to keep you around forever."
She bit her lip, shook her head and started to crawl out of the bed, "Then I need Pizza."
He pushed back back and sighed "You stay here. I got it. I'll feed you but you don't need to get out of bed."
She smiled and pressed herself back into the pillows, pulling the sheet up over her, "Pizza in bed? We've hit a new level of sexy Stabler."
He chuckled and reached for his sweatpants and slipped them up over his legs, "We'll have all our meals in bed if you'd like. Just stay there." The person knocked again, "I'm coming! I'm coming! Keep your pants on!" He turned back to her and pointed, "Not you. You keep yours off."
She laughed again, lifted her fingers to her head and salted, "Yes sir."
He looked at her, swallowed hard, "I can't…" She was smiling hard at him, her leg slid out from under the sheet seductively and he sighed, "Jesus…"
The knock sounded again, more urgent this time, "They're waiting…" she teased.
He growled, turned and stomped out the door, "Stupid food."
He could still hear her laughing as he whipped open the door. He was looking down, but he heard the new laugh first, and he knew immediately who it was. Looking up he smiled sheepishly, John spoke first, "Fin, did we go to Elliot's or Olivia's?"
Fin smirked, "Oh...we're at Liv's. Looks like we're not the only ones that needed to check on her."
Elliot opened his mouth to respond but heard another voice behind him that made him freeze, "Hey Stabler, you forgot your wallet."
He turned, saw her standing there in his t-shirt and nothing else. Saw the blush grow on her cheeks. Saw her look at him, and then their friends. She held Elliot's wallet up, walked towards them, tugged at the bottom of her shirt, "Hey Liv."
She stood behind Elliot slightly, feeling a little exposed, "Uh hey guys."
"It wasn't the pizza guy." Elliot said with a little laugh, "Probably should have looked in the peephole."
She dug her hands into his bare back and cleared her throat, "Probably." She lifted her head slightly and smiled, "What are you two doing here?"
"Oh we were worried when you didn't show up to work this morning. So we decided to come check on you. Make sure you weren't half way across the country again." John smirked.
Olivia bit down on Elliot's shoulder, "Huh…"
Fin pointed at Elliot, "Looks like someone else came to check on you instead?"
Olivia looked at Elliot, he smiled at her and shrugged, "Yeah he did. He came to check on me on Saturday night."
Fin laughed and threw his head back, "And right now it's Monday evening."
"Is it?" She scrunched up her nose and sighed, "Weird. We must have lost track of time."
"Been busy have you?" John said leaning against the doorframe, "A little preoccupied?"
"Just a bit." Elliot turned towards them and smiled, "I appreciate you caring about her. But I think I got it covered from here."
Fin watched him move, lift his arm and wrap it around her shoulders, pulling her close, "Yeah? You sure?"
Elliot dropped a kiss to the top of her head and smiled, "I'm sure Fin. Positive."
Fin and John exchanged looks, then looked back at them, "And Olivia? Are you sure?"
She shifted her weight slightly, leaned into Elliot and wrapped her arms around his waist, "Never been more sure of anything in my life."
John took a deep breath and smiled, "Well good. Now that that is settled…" He looked at Fin, "I'd ask to stay for dinner but I think they have plans. So you want to go get some thai?"
Fin smiled and nodded his head, "Sure. Sounds good." He turned back to his friends, "So...tomorrow?"
Olivia swallowed the lump in her throat, knowing what was coming next, "Tomorrow...lots of things are going to change."
Fin locked eyes with her, nodded slowly, "Yeah. Probably. But...change can be good. At least sometimes. Don't you think?"
Olivia lifted her face, looked at Elliot who was staring down at her, "I'm learning that it can be."
Elliot was beaming down at her, she could see the happiness, the love looking down at her, "It was good to see you guys...but I think it's time for you to leave now." He went to close the door but Fin stopped it with his hand, they turned to look at him, "Fin."
"One last thing." Fin smirked and chuckled, "It's about damn time."
Olivia started laughing, turned her head into Elliot's neck and Elliot smirked, "Trust us. We know." He shut the door quickly, and pressed Olivia against it, "They enjoyed that too much."
Olivia laughed and wrapped her arms around his waist, "They're probably still standing there."
Elliot chuckled, leaned down and kissed her neck, "Then they are going to hear quite a lot in a minute."
"Yeah...we can still hear you." John muttered, "Just so you know. Liv's walls are paper thin. Keep that in mind."
She laughed harder, "Oh God…"
"Go away John!" Elliot yelled, "I think you've seen enough!"
Fin laughed, "We've been watching this show for 8 years man...we've seen it all."
Elliot moved Olivia to the side, yanked open the door and smiled at his friends, "You haven't seen it all trust me. And no one but me will ever see it again. So...buh bye now. Oh and...if you see a Pizza guy out in the hall?" He grabbed his wallet from Liv, yanked out some bills and slapped it into John's hand, "Give this to him and tell him to just leave the box outside."
The door slammed shut again and Fin and John heard Olivia shriek with laughter. Fin looked at John, John looked at him and they both smiled, "Yeah. They'll be okay."
