We were currently sitting in the Gryffindor common room, celebrating yet another win against the Slytherins in the Quidditch match final, which meant that we had also on this years Quidditch cup. Our team had thrashed them with the score 230-60, and it was all thanks to Harry catching the snitch only an hour into the game, which happened to be his personal best. Of course he was ecstatic with all the attention that he was currently getting- I mean, he should be used to it now... after everything that had happened this year- with defeating the darkest wizard of all time, and that.

I looked around the common room and couldn't help but smile at what I saw, we were in our last year at Hogwarts and we only had a month and 23 days left approximately, and Voldermort was never coming back. Well, I thought that we were able to spend the rest of our time at Hogwarts with no life threatening adventures in order to save the Wizarding World; after all there is a first time for everything. O. and N.E.W.T.s were finally over, which meant that we no longer had to spend our time constantly studying and revising (Yes, I know that I love studying, but there are times when it does get boring). My dream had come true when it was announced at the start of the year that I would be Head Girl. But more importantly, I was currently sitting in a room filled with all my classmates and friends. My life was perfect, better than it had ever been...

...And then Ginny announced that we were going to play a game of truth or dare.

All the 6th and 7th years stopped what they were doing and began making their way towards the centre of the room where Ginny was standing. Now I will admit it- we had all done our fair share of drinking- including myself. We were all to drunk to know what we had gotten ourselves into.

"Everyone playing? Even our goody two- shoes Head Girl? We can't guarantee it will be a clean game..." Ginny joked, eyeing me as I joined the circle, sitting beside her. She wasn't the only one watching me- everyone knew that I was against these games. I was Hermione Granger, stickler for the rules. I admit, I wasn't sure what made me want to join in the first place, any game that Ginny starts is bound to be utter hell. But I guess those bottles of Fire Whisky must have already gotten to my head... I guess I didn't want to be the only one not playing, left out, a 'stick in the mud' like Ginny sometimes calls me. And well, it could be fun, couldn't it?

I gave her 'the look' and she immediately backed down, and began handing us goblets full of clear liquid. I had to fight the urge to ask her where she had gotten it from- must have stolen it from potions-

"What's this?" From the other side of the circle, Ron asked his sister, peering into the goblet and sniffing the liquid.

Ginny rolled her eyes at her brother, "It's Veritaserum, so we can ONLY tell the truth." She emphasized the world 'only'. "Merlin Ron, you don't know anything, do you? You want us to have a fun game, don't you?" Her smiled widened... This game had just gotten much worse.

Around me, I could her a slight chorus of 'ohh's'. Seriously, how could people not know what it was? I mean, it was the last thing we had studied in Potions- there was a whole question about it on the N.E. ! Was I the only one who ever paid any attention in class?

"Oh, I almost forgot something- I'll be back in a minute!" And with that she ran out of the room, towards her dorm.

"What's she doing? Where's she going?" Ron was thinking aloud again.

"Oh, I don't know Ronald, maybe she forgot something and went to go and get it!" I answered sarcastically, as the younger red head came running back in.

"Sorry, I forgot this; we can't play truth or dare with out this!" She laughed, holding up an innocent looking plastic bottle, which she then placed in the centre of the circle. Knowing her, this couldn't have been a normal plastic bottle- she had probably gotten it from Fred and George earlier in the year, they were always giving her their inventions hoping she would try them out, and show to others.

From the corner of my eye I could see her glaring at me. "And no Hermione, it is not one of Fred and George's inventions, it is simply a plastic bottle." She smirked, as if reading my mind.

"Bloody hell Hermione, you're never wrong are you?" Ron shouted from across the room, with his mouth hanging open.

"Well Ronald, I do this thing called listening-"

"Hey! I listen it's jus-"

One again from the corner of my eye, I could see Ginny glaring at me and her brother for interrupting the game. We shut up.

"Now what that little interruption is over, we can finally begin! Okay everyone knows how to play? If you choose truth, you take a sip of Veritaserum, so you are guaranteed to tell the truth. And if you choose dare, then you must do the dare, or there will be consequences" She said glaring around the circle as she sat down beside me, with the flick of her wand, the bottle span landing on Dean.

"Truth or dare?"

"...Well I don't trust you guys, so I'm going to say truth."

"Wimp!" Some 6th year I didn't know the name of, shouted from the other side of the circle. Dean called him a name, that no, I won't repeat.

Ginny glared at them, angry that the game had been interrupted once more. "Dean darling, take a sip of the Veritaserum," she smiled sweetly at him.

He did.

"So..." she began, "Let me think... oh I know!" she gasped. "Who was the last person you shagged?"

He gulped and turned a dark shade of red, the same shade as a tomato, but not as bright as the famous Weasley red- nevertheless he answered. "Pansy Parkinson," he cringed.

Well... that got a mixed reaction; a round of applause from all the boys- especially the 6th years- and from the girls, a look of disgust, including Lavender and Pavarti, I could even hear them whispering to each other- well it wasn't really whispering, more like screaming across the room.

"Pansy Parkinson-"

"-How desperate can you get-"

"OMG! I know, right?"

They both sat there, giggling to each other, I mean, how annoying could you get?

Dean flicked his wand and the bottle spun, wanting the attention to be off him and on someone else- it landed on Seamus.

"Truth or dare, my little Irish friend." He asked; glad to be out of the spotlight.

"Dare..." you could almost hear the smirk in his voice.

"I dare you to..." He looked around the circle, stopping when his eyes reached Lavender and Pavarti, a grin crept up on his face. "Snog Pavarti."

Pavarti, who was currently giggling with Lavender, stopped once she heard her name being mentioned, and began to glare at Dean, who just smiled back apologeticly. Seamus on the other hand, looked pretty happen with the dare Dean had chosen for him.

"You have to do it," Ginny reminded them, unhelpfully.

I could see Pavarti gagging; I knew, that she knew, that she couldn't argue with Ginny and win, even if Ginny had had one too many Fire Whiskeys. "Fine, I'll do it... but can we at least go somewhere else? Somewhere more private? I don't want to be seen snogging him in public..." She gagged once more, practically begging. Gee, this girl must be desperate.

Ginny huffed, "Fine! But just so you know, I'll have to watch you so I know that you actually did it, seeing as I'm in charge of the game..." she said, looking at the expressions on everyone's faces. "It's the rules! Everybody knows it!" She screamed, before following Seamus and Pavarti into another room.

We all sat there in silence, the only noise coming from the occasional younger student making their way towards their dorm. Patiently, we waited for the return of Pavarti, Seamus and Ginny. A minute later Pavarti came rushing back, her face a deep shade of red, her hand over her mouth, as is she was going to be sick. Seamus came out after her cheering, and boys being boys, sat there egging him on. And then there was Ginny, who announced that she was scarred for lif, shuddering at the 'memory'.

With a wave of his wand, Seamus spun the bottle- it landed on Lavender.

"Truth," she immediately said, before he even had the chance to ask her the all important question, then she took a sip from her goblet.

"Okay, is it true that you and Ron did... you know, 'it'" He whispered the word, in case any younger Gryffindor students could accidentally hear him. "Last year in Snape's room while he was in the Great Hall?" Strangely, he sounded interested, it was quite disturbing. I didn't want images of my best friend doing it with that blonde bimbo, especially when-

"Yeah," she shrugged like it was nothing, she didn't seem the least bit embarrassed, but from what I could see, Ron was blushing like a tomato, muttering threats under his breath, as his classmates began laughing at him.

"EW!" Ginny screamed beside me, "That is so much more worse than having to watch the two of them snog." She pointed in the direction that Seamus and Pavarti were sitting. "I'm scared for life, I'm never going to get that image out of my head. I'll have to be obliviated!" She looked over at me, as if suggesting that I do it; and the meare thought of it horrified me- with what had happened with my parents just a couple of months ago. Ginny, on the other hand didn't know my little secret; I thought it was best that only a few people knew, and those few people being Harry and Ron, and I'm glad that it has stayed that way so far- not that I don't trust Ginny, it's just that I don't want the whole of Hogwarts knowing what I did. I can't even stand knowing myself, knowing what I did to my loving parents...

Shouts and jeers from around the circle brought me back to reality; Lavender had spun the bottle and it had landed on an anxious looking Harry.

Truth or dare?" She asked in her usual seductive voice, battering her eyelashes.

"Dare," he replied, straining his voice as if trying to sound brave, but he didn't seem 100% sure. I'm sure he was trying to show off for Ginny, and the bunch of giggling 5th year girls sat in the corner who had been watching him all night.

She smiled, obviously hoping for this. "I dare you... to sung A cauldron full of hot stong love," she giggled- of course that had to be her favourite song. Many of the girls around us looked at her in approval, obviously it was theirs aswell.

Harry sat there with his eyes wide open, shocked at what he was about to do. Cheers errupted from around the room, each member of the circle was howling and clapping, cheering him on; although out of everyone Ginny was certainly the loudest; jumping up and down, screeming like a Banshee for the boy she loved.

He slowly stood up and made his way to the centre of the circle.

"Oh, come and stir my cauldron," he began to sing, while doing some kind of strange moves, from what I had seen in the past I though he was a decent dancer, but from what I just witnessed he terrible-worse that Ron and i didn't even think that was possible.

"And if you do it right

I'll boil you up some hot, strong love

To keep you warm tonight," he finished- and well, it wasn't... the worst thing I had ever witnessed. Although i made a mental note to ask him how he know all the words to that dreadful song.

Once he took a seat back in his place, not looking anyone in the eye, we all burst out laughing; no one was ever going to let him forget this.

He spun the bottle, and it landed beside me, on Ginny. He smiled apologeticly but shrugged.

"Dare," she smirked, "A Weasley never backs down."

"I dare you to... kiss Ron! ... On the lips!" He added after a moment of thought, his face wobbling as he laughed, a clear sign that the Firewhisky had taken its toll on him. He wanted revenge, and it was clear that he didn't care who on, even if it was Ginny.

He smiled faded completetly as she glared at her boyfriend, whilst Ron's mouth was now hanging open as he glared at his best friend of 7 years.

"You do remember that I kiss you with these lips? You're not just punishing me, you're also punishing yourself..." she tried, hoping to change his mind. But it didn't. "Fine. Let's just get this over with then, shall we." She stood up and made her way across the circle to Ron, and quickly pressed her lips on his- lasting less than a milisecond.

"Well clearly I did not think this game through, I thought it would be much more fun that his," she cringed, while I smirked at her; the only one to blame was herself.

"I hate you." Ron muttered to his sister and his best friend, wiping his mouth with the back of his sleeve, ignoring the cheers coming from around the circle, sending daggers to anyone who dare say something to him.

Ginny spun the bottle. It landed on Neville. He gulped, knowing that no good could come out of this.

"Neville, truth or dare?" She asked a little too sweetly; clearly she was still made at her boyfriend's dare.

Neville winced, he must have noticed this as well. "Truth?"

"Is it true that you used to fancy Professor Sprout?"

He nodded slowly, looking relieved; he smeeded to have gotten off easily- Ginny could get very angry at times, and she was very intimidatin.

Some chuckles errupted from around the circle, but most people shrugged. "I knew it!" Dean cried.

He spun the bottle, and it landed on Cormac.

"Truth or dare?" he asked.

"Truth," he smirked, thinking that Neville could never come up with anything too bad. Boy was he wrong,

"How many girls have you shagged?" He asked after Cormac took a sip from his goblet.

His eyes widened, but he answered nevertheless. "52"

Many of the girls who had spent the past year oogling him turned away with a look of disgust on each of their faces. A giggle escaped my lips, thanks to Neville, he was no longer the adored wizard he once was, now he would be ignored by all the witches of the year like he should have been all along.

Ignoring the quite whispers from the circle he spun the bottle.

It landed on Ron.

"Truth or dare, Weasey." He spat out Ron's surname like it was dirt.

"Dare, NO WAIT TRUTH, truth! I pick truth!" He turned to his sisted, eyes pleading.

"Too bad big brother, you said dare first, so dare you must do." She said faking sympathy.

He turned back to Cormac, who was still contemplating this dare.

"I dare you to..." a smile slowly appeared on his face, as a dare came to mind. "To wear your sister's underwear for the remainder of the game."

Ginny's eyes lit up, while Ron's face became stone like. As soon as she made her way towards he brother, she grabbed his arm and dragged her brother towards her dorm. This was a dare that she clearly liked.

"Won't be a sec!" She called to everyone, I detected a smirk on her face.

Less than two minutes later Ginny came out, dragging a tomato shaded Ron Weasley behind her. He was wearing a green lace thong, along with a matching bra; both covered in small silver serpents. Very Slytherin, so why did little Ginny own them? Describing them as too small was a serious understatement, let's just say that in that moment, I was thankfull that all those years of him playing Quidditch. Although there were still things that no innocent girl should ever have to see.

Laughter errupted from the boys, although the girls couldn't even stand to look at him without gagging. There were bits that we didn't want to see; even Lavender couldn't stand to look, and we all knew she liked him, a lot.

"Ginny," he looked down at what he was wearing, a look of disgust on his face. "Do you actually wear these? Actually on second thought, no, I don't want to know."

He made his way back to the circle and spun the bottle.

It landed on Pavarti.

"Merlin, haven't I been punished enough?" She cried to no one in particular.

"Truth," she replied before Ron could ask her the important question. "I am not snogging anyone else." And she took a spit of the Veritaserum.

"Umm….. Is it true that you dated Goyle last year?" He asked pathetically.

"Yeah…. but it was only because Lavender dared me to" she assured everyone, although she still turned a dark shade of red.

She spun the bottle; and it landed on… me.

Everyone turned to face me, I froze.

"So Mione," a smile grew on her face, and she innocently asked the question I had been dreading. "Truth or dare?"

Thoughts flew through my mind a million miles a second. If I chose truth, then I would no longer have any control over what words escaped from my mouth. But on the other hand, if I chose dare then I could end up doing anything: snogging someone, strip naked, end up breaking a school rule... the possibilities were endless.

"Truth?" I answered, although it came out as a question.

She smiled.

"What's your biggest secret?"

My heart began to race, so fast I was afraid I was having cardiac arrest; I knew I should of chosen dare. I should have known this would have happened.

All eyes were on me.

I slowly picked up my goblet, with trembling hands and took the tiniest of a sip, hoping it wouldn't work. Hopping I would still be in control.

Unfortunately, I wasn't. And now, my secret that I managed to keep all these months was finally told. Out of the bag,

But the thing is, I have no idea what I told them that night.
