ENTRY 14
DEAR DIARY
Dear Diary,
Forks High football team won the state championship tonight. Go Spartans! You should have seen how great Edward played. He threw for 3 touchdowns and even ran 1 into the end zone himself. It's no wonder he has a football scholarship to the University of Washington next year. He's just perfect and I love him. ❤️❤️
There was a big celebration on the field after the game. Confetti was shot onto the field and then there was even a fireworks display. Everyone else left the bleachers & ran onto the field to join the football players to watch the fireworks. Not me, though. I stayed sitting in the bleachers - just me, and my clarinet (band rules!). While everyone else was watching the fireworks, I was watching Edward Cullen (can you blame me?). He looked so cute in his uniform and he was in his element, high-fiving and chest bumping (yay!) - and kissing Tanya (booh!). Of course Edward is dating the head cheerleader. How could he not?
But, Diary, I just know that Edward and I will be together eventually. I can feel it in my gut. It's just not our time yet…it's too early. I'm only a sophomore and still have 2 more years of high school. But after that, I'll be at the University of Washington along with Edward (fingers crossed!). That's when things will change…that's when Edward will finally see ME and being 2 years younger won't matter. I just know it. Until then, I just have to be patient and settle for loving Edward Cullen from afar. It's our secret!
