WORTHY

The neon lights of the casinos surrounding them reflected in the gold bands adorning their joined hands.

"I can't believe we actually did it."

"We're married."

Their lips met in a tender kiss, their tongues tangling briefly.

"I love you."

"Me too. So much."

"My wife… I have a wife."

A tinkling laugh filled the air as they embraced one another, Bella's legs swinging from side to side as she was hoisted up.

Long chestnut hair was brushed back from a creamy white face. Brown eyes with flecks of gold looked on lovingly. A soft smile caused plump cherry-colored lips to widen.

"Let's go. We have a reservation at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas. I hear they have an excellent duck breast, and you know how much I love breasts." Bella giggled at the innuendo. "Besides, the sooner we eat, the sooner we can consummate this marriage."

Bella's breath stuttered as she envisioned the wedding night that was still to come. She thought of how their hands would roam, exploring each other's flesh. Of the kisses, the ones that start gentle and soon grow in intensity, creating a fire that extends throughout their bodies. Of the pleasure that coursed through their veins, escaping in moans, pants, and cries. She very much wanted to get to that part of the evening.

"Reservation for Cullen." The hostess did a double take, a look of envy clear on her face as she observed the way they held one another, turning only when she noticed the possessive way in which Bella's grip tightened.

"Yes, right this way. Window seat as requested."

"Bella, I love you so much. I don't think I'll ever be able to adequately express how much you mean to me. How much fuller my life has been since you came into it. I am still in awe that you chose me. That you love me. That you have agreed to spend your life with me. But I will do everything I can to show you I'm worthy of you."

A tear trailed down Bella's cheek as she reached across the table.

"Oh, Rose. You mean everything to me. All that you just said—I can say back to you. You were there for me when I came out. When everyone didn't understand. When they told me I was confused. That I needed to give it more time. But time wasn't what I needed. I needed you. So thank you for loving me. Thank you for making me stronger. I will work so hard to show you that I'm worthy of your love. I love you."

Bella leaned over the table, kissing her wife, pouring every bit of her passion and love into that kiss.

As they pulled apart, the fireworks show began, lighting the sky with an array of colors, reflecting off the water below.

"It's so beautiful," Bella whispered, her hand still clasped with Rose's.

"Yes, it is," Rose said, never turning her gaze from her wife.
