Chapter 3
When Ana was getting to school she saw the lady pull up and Christian came outside. Ana had to stop it, so in her best teacher's voice she yelled. "Christian Grey! Where are you going? Get back to my class now?" The lady got out, "Excuse you! I'm his mother. I want your name." Ana scoffed," It's Ms. Steele and I want your name, because you're not his mother. I've seen his mother. How about you take your ass off school property before I call someone to remove you." She narrowed her eyes at Ana and told Christian she would deal with him later. Christian looked at Ana with those sad gray eyes. "Get to class Christian."
She started to walk away, "Christian, if you need help all you have to do is ask." Christian went to class, took his test, and stared at Ana. He waited for her at her car, "How did you know?" Ana looked at him, "Know what?" Christian answered, "That she wasn't my mom." Ana wasn't going to lie, "I know your brother. Kate is my best friend." Christian pushed off the car, "You're the Ana he wants me to ask out?" Ana blushed, "Well that won't happen you're in high school and I'm pretty sure I can get in trouble for that."
Christian looked at her, "I'm 17 and will turn 18 in June, so what trouble." Christian looked at her, "You told him right? He knows?" Ana was panicking, "I didn't know anything, he put it all together." Christian hugged her, "It's ok! Thank you." Christian didn't do that kind of thing, hug or trust people. He asked her for a ride. Ana was driving, "I can't believe a rich kid like you doesn't have a car." Christian laughed, "I do have a car, but when you get in trouble as much as I do, you don't get to drive it." She drove him to her and Kate's apartment. "Elliot's here." She pointed to his truck. When they walked in Elliot jumped up, "Chris! Are you ok?" He didn't say anything, just shook his head no.
Elliot sat him down and gave Kate a look. "Come on Ana, let's give them a moment." Christian looked up, "It's ok you two can stay. I'm sure you already heard enough anyway. Elliot can't keep a secret." Ana giggled, "Neither can Kate, so they belong together." They all laughed, but got serious again. "When did it start Christian?" Christian looked at Ana, he thought about what she said, it was time to ask for help.
Christian took a deep breath, "3 years ago. I was hanging out with my friends by the pool. Mom and dad went away for the weekend, you were supposed to come and hang out with me, but you stayed at school." Elliot was ashamed, he blamed himself. He wasn't there for Christian. "I'm sorry Chris. I was partying and doing my own thing." Christian shook his head, "It's not your fault El."
Christian kept going, "We stole dad's scotch and were getting hammered." Christian stood up pacing, "I don't even know what happened. I guess I passed out. When I came to, I was in Elena's basement tied up and she was hitting me with a wet towel." Kate and Ana were horrified. "I yelled at her and called her a crazy bitch. It only made her hit me harder."
Christian ran his hands through his wild hair. "I told her I would tell and she couldn't keep me there. She started touching me under my shirt. It felt good, really good. I didn't feel any pain like normal." Only Elliot knew about his burns from his mom's boyfriend when he was four. "She pulled off my belt and my pants. She told me she could make the rest of my body feel good like my chest."
He looked at Ana, "I'm so embarrassed. I knew better." Ana assured him, "No Christian, you were a child. She knew better. That's abuse." Kate jumped in, "That bitch abused both of you." Christian turned to Elliot, "What!?" Elliot hung his head, "I let you down, she did stuff to me too. She just didn't get as far with me. I'm sorry Chris. I get it, I was embarrassed too." Ana shook her head, "You need to talk to your parents. Do you know how many boys she's probably abused?"
Elliot and Christian both shook their heads, but they knew Ana was right. They couldn't hide the secret anymore. Elliot looked at his watch, "We have family dinner in an hour. Do you two want to join us?" Kate had been plenty of times. Mr. and Mrs. Grey almost expected her. Kate said, "I think you two should have a moment with your family alone." Christian disagreed, "We can discuss it with them, but it would be nice to have your support." They both agreed to go, but they were nervous and reluctant.
