Chapter 13
When they got off the flight, they were greeted with a sign that said Grey. "We're the Grey's. What's this about?" The driver smiled, "Your limo sir. He turned and looked at Kate, "We didn't order a limo." Then Mia popped out of the sunroof giggling, "Elliot you're in trouble!"
They saw Carrick and Grace step out and hug Ana. Kate hit her arm, "Snitch!" Carrick shook Elliot's hand, "Congratulations son! We are proud of you and Kate, we are happy to have you as a daughter." Kate's parents were coming in later that evening and the girls went dress shopping.
The next day, Ana looked at her best friend before walking down the aisle with Christian. "I love you Kate! Thank you for always standing with me and protecting me." Kate wiped her tear falling, "I'm still right here and now you have two protectors." She winked at Christian and gave Ana a tight hug. Christian and Ana walked down the aisle knowing their turn would come soon.
They left Elliot and Kate in Vegas for a couple of days and headed back. "Wow, what a whirlwind!" Christian looked at Ana, "I'm going to have my own plane you know." Ana smiled, "I believe you, but make sure you have your own pilot, because I want to join the mile high club." Christian kissed her, but when the tongue action started, "Oh no! Your parents are here." Christian sat back, "Ros and I are looking at a building in the city. El can fix up. We were thinking about investing in a nightclub, bring in big money. The Mile High Club. I like it!"
Once they were back, Christian, Ros, Andrea, Leila, and Barney met everyday at Christian new office. The summer break gave them time to put ideas down and the trust fund was all they needed. Elliot carved out a space for him in his building. Ana came with him everyday. She had online classes to keep up with so she could graduate the following year.
They talked for hours, Christian was so serious and everything he said sounded like a foreign language to Ana. Ros, Leila, and Barney who all graduated just shook their heads. "Ros, I need you to do all of the traveling and lock everything down. Can you handle it?" Ros smiled, "I've got under control, just keep going and double up classes. I need you out a year early."
Christian kissed Ana's head, "Are you ready?" Ana grabbed her bag, "Is your plan going to work? Ros is good, but not you." Christian smiled, "Ros is good. She's going after a big company in New York that's about to fold. Once we have money coming in, my company which is a combination of communications technologies and eco-friendly manufacturing will blow up." Christian basically was about to have his hands in a little of everything. Investing in the right things was going to take him to the top.
Ana was making dinner and Christian was helping. "You've changed me and my life." Ana laughed, "Just keep chopping." Christian turned her around in his arms, "I'm serious! When do you want to get married?" Ana raised her eyebrow, "Are you really finishing early?" Christian smiled, "Yeah!" Ana went back to cooking, "Fine, when we are both done with school."
Christian sat back in the chair, "I'm stuffed! Maybe you should be a chef at the Mile High Club." Ana laughed, "Oh yeah right, specialties for the week lasagna and chicken quesadillas." Christian frowned, "Why do you do that? I give a compliment or if anyone gives you a compliment, you act like it's nothing." Ana walked in the kitchen and put the dishes in the dishwasher. "I guess my mom stays in my head more than I would like."
Christian went to her, "Ana, you're an amazing person. I'm sorry she didn't treat you the way you deserve. I promise you, I will spend the rest of my life supporting you, loving you, and protecting your heart." Ana thought her life had changed, but she was still living in the past. "I'll work on it, I promise." Ana kissed him, "How about we try some of that amazing shower sex." Christian smiled wide, "I can't wait for you to be Mrs. Grey."
