Part 3 - Newcomer and His Words
As they all stood around and waited for the Cullens to answer, a new voice came out of the shadows, and it was none other grandfather of Quil Jr, and he smiled softly at his granddad, who gave one back, then also one to Bella, who seemed to relax when she saw him there, and smiled back at him too. The Cullens looked curious as to who this old, seemingly crippling man was and why here. Sam said
"Oh so you came, who brought you here then?" At that the man smiled, said
"Your father did, Sam, he was kind to drive me then lead me in here before going back to his car and drive back home, as I can ride one of your backs to home again after this meeting is over. As it is an Elder business aswell of why the Cullens cowardly came back to Forks, for what or who I dont give a fuck about, as Isabella has chosen her path, and that is with my grandson, Quil the 4th."
Most gasped of his words, as he was known not to swear or say bad words about anyone really, Bella just smiled from Quil's arms, as Quil said softly
"I am glad that you came afterall, granddad, as you are most sensible and reasonable when it comes to this, the others sorry Sam but you know it is somewhat true on your father's part, that they are more worried to keep up the presence of everything is good and alright nothing to see really. But things are about to change, it wont be great either, as they are things that need to be change. Isnt that right, granddad?"
At that Old Quil nodded, as he held himself up with his stick, and Bella went over to help him to a rock that was tall enough for him to still stand but could rest himself onto without help from others, and he thanked her kindly for her help, as she only said
"We love you, Grandpa, as you are family now too." At that he just smiled at the young woman, Bella, before himself, as she then went back to his smiling grandson while Jacob had a frown on his face, as Old Quil then said
"I came today for I wanted and needed to see the Leeches on my own, as I have not seen them in person since that day of the old treaty was made, I am surprised that none of you including Edward over there doesnt remember seeing a little boy there on that day when my grandfather and yourself shook hands for the treaty. But it seems you dont and nor read throughly through the treaty back then either. As you have also broken it, like Jacob Black, did when he told then outsider Isabella Swan, now publically known as Isabella Uley, will be a Aterea in near future too, as she is now expecting the next generation of our family. I am very happy, you two, no worries there, and your mother, Quil is very happy woman indeed, for all she wanted for you is to do great in school and become a father, like your own proud father and he too my son would be so happy to see that you are carrying on the legacy too."
Quil and Bella just smiled tearfully of the mention of Quil's father who died when Quil was just 2 and it was a drowning accident, while fishing with the other men in the tribe and Charlie had been there too that day. It had taken hard toll on her dad aswell to loose one friend in such tragic way. Most of them were shocked of his words he said, as Edward was trying to glare, but the glare that Old Quil produced and made aware of to give at that young boy, made him a very frighten boy, as Esme couldnt help herself,
"What about school for Bella and what about living space for her?" Bella rolled her eyes, as Old Quil was the one who answered her;
"First she is NO business of yours since your coward, cruel "son" dumped her in that way he did back in september 3 days after her birthday, for some cruelty and being giant coward about his feelings and not letting her talk either, for you felt you are the head over her, when you never was either, boy. She is 18, not 17 like yourself therefore she is the head over you, but she wont be yours ever again, boy, for she is my grandson's mate, and true love. Never was yours to begin with, otherwise my grandson would never imprint on her the day of his phasing happen few months ago. And to the other questions of yours, is that Bella is now enrolled in La Push but she does it online and distans, as she felt she couldnt do in person school after what she was put through at Forks High after your "son" broke her spirit and heart until my grandson healed it and her. So she is not a Forks High student any longer. Charlie's house is also been sold to a new family, after we fixed it up with new locks, keys, and windows, aswell tore down the tree outside of Bella's old room. For the days of sneaking in and creepingly so watching Bella or the new family's young daugther is OVER with for good now. She is now right now living with Quil, in a house that himself built while Bella lived with her new family of the Uley's. I as the family head as my son who is dead since 19 years ago, would have been so, but I have the role until Quil is ready to take over it from me. Which I dont mind whenever it happens. And me being the Family's head means my word over any other families is the rule to follow. Not anyone else."
Most were quite shocked to hear this, as Alice and Edward stood in shock of hearing where Bella was going to be in school or not in school persay and that she is also living with Quil not her adoptive family anymore, Bella scoffed at their looks, as she knew they thought she and Quil were living in a sin for not being married first before living together. Old Quil heard it, but said nothing of it, as he then said
"So you have 1 week to decide if you are to follow the new treaty we spoken of today, and no more contact with Isabella, as she is no concern of yours anymore, as she is now a Uley and will become an Aterea, whenever she is ready to marry my grandson. But it wont be forced upon on her, just for she is pregnant or living a sin before being married, the world has changed to the better now, do remember that. Now, Quil, Bella, lets go home, I need help to get home."
At that the two just smiled, stood up and went over to help him from the rock he had leaned upon, and off they went back home. The rest followed after few more last words were spoken, and they all split up for this time around.
