BAM!

"Guess who's back! Back again!" I shouted as I kicked open the Time Chamber door and me, Piccolo, and Broly walked out of the chamber in destroyed clothes. That year in the chamber was absolutely brutal, but definitely well worth it. The three of us suffered during this year, but we made it through with power far greater than what we had before. Piccolo could go toe to toe with me and Broly perfectly now, which is just proof of how strong he had gotten. Broly could now control around 80% of his power, and I had reached the master Super Saiyan level. I was even still in my Super Saiyan form when we exited the chamber. I was probably going to stay in my Super Saiyan form until the tournament, actually. Broly was actually getting close to going Super Saiyan during our training, but luckily for me and Piccolo he didn't go all the way. He still needs something to cause him to snap, which at this point is a good thing, since I don't know how we would deal with a Super Saiyan Broly.

"Wow! You guys have gotten so much stronger!" Trunks exclaimed as we walked out.

"Of course. What else did you expect?" Piccolo asked.

"Thanks for joining us Broly. I really appreciate it." I told him.

"It was not a big deal. I enjoyed it." Broly responded.

"I suppose you and Paragus will be leaving now?"

"That is correct." Paragus told me as he walked towards us. "Will you be ok? From what we've heard, this Cell creature is very problematic."

"Yeah, we'll be fine. I'm pretty confident after spending time in the chamber." I answered. "I even came up with some new moves I want to test out on him."

"I see. Then I wish you the best of luck. Just know that if you are ever in dire need of help, Broly and I will gladly come to your aid." Paragus told me.

"I'll keep that in mind. You'll be the first I go to visit in case of emergencies." With that, we said our goodbyes and Broly and Paragus flew off in their ship.

"They were nice people." Trunks commented.

"Yeah. They're great." I agreed. "So I guess you, Vegeta, and Nappa are going to head into the chamber now?"

"That's right. You'll have to wait until we're done if you want another crack at it." Nappa said.

"Nah, I'm done training. I need to relax and take a break." I admitted. "Haven't had a single moment to just sit down and enjoy myself in a long time, so I think I'm gonna head back to West City until the Cell Games start."

"Do you think that's the best decision?" Piccolo asked.

"Yeah. I can't just keep using the chamber, and Kakarot was right when he said torturing your body like that isn't exactly the best way to train. If I think I need some more training, I'll just do it out here. We still have about a week, after all."

"Fine, but after we're done with the chamber, don't even think that you'll be even close to the same level as me!" Vegeta proclaimed as he and the others entered the chamber. I could only chuckle as I flew back down to West City. To be honest, I was slightly worried about what was to come. Not because I thought I wouldn't be able to handle Cell, but I wasn't completely sure how this would end. It was weird. I couldn't remember bits and pieces of this fight. It should be fine though. I mean, I'm confident I could kill Cell if given the chance. And then there's Goku. Speaking of which, Goku was acting a little strange after he left the chamber, but I can't really put my finger on it. Is he planning something? Well, I can only hope things work out when the fateful day arrives. I just hope this horrible feeling in my gut is wrong.

When I finally arrived in West City, I remembered something I heard Trunks say back on the lookout. He mentioned how Krillin had taken Android 16 to Capsule Corp for repairs. I might as well drop by to see if there's anything I can do to help. I made my way to Bulma's lab and found her and her father working on 16. "Yo."

"Orion! You're here! Did you finish your training on the lookout?" Bulma asked.

"Yep. Spent a day in the chamber with Piccolo and a Saiyan friend of mine. I'm going to stay here in West City until the Cell Games start." I told her. "How's 16?"

"He's fine right now. He just needs a few replacement parts." Doctor Briefs told me. "We also found a nuclear bomb in his chest that we'll have to remove."

"A nuke!?" I repeated worriedly. "Why is there a nuke in 16!? 17 and 18 only had normal bombs!"

"It's just a testament of how much Doctor Gero hated Goku, I suppose." Bulma sighed. "Since you're here, want to help us with fixing 16?"

"Sure. I'd be happy to help." I said. And so, I spent the remaining days helping Bulma and Doctor Briefs repair Android 16. When we were finally done, Android 16 was completely repaired, although Bulma couldn't remove the 'Kill Son Goku' part of his programming. Other than that, Android 16 was very cordial, and thanked us for our help. Bulma said it was nothing and slapped a Capsule Corp logo sticker to cover up his Red Ribbon logo on his chest and allowed 16 to do as he pleased until the Cell Games. The two of us talked a bit, mainly me apologizing for not being able to save 17 or 18 and him saying it wasn't my fault. We got along well, aside from the fact that he was programmed to kill my youngest brother.

Eventually, the day arrived, and it was finally time for the Cell Games to start. I got up early and got ready before flying off to where Cell said the arena was. I heard from the others that they had gathered the Dragon Balls for emergencies and the aftermath of the fight with Cell. The new Dragon Balls could grant 3 wishes and 2 if one of the wishes is reviving multiple people. It still can't bring back anyone who's died before, so that's most of us, but we should be fine. We just have to not die. Doesn't seem so hard, right…?

I soon made it to the arena, but I noticed something weird. Is that a...camera crew? That's...new? Wait, did this happen in the story? I don't really remember there being anyone other than the Z fighters here. Who would be dumb enough to show up to this tournament if they can't use ki? I landed and saw Cell standing in the middle of his arena. He turned to me with an uncaring look. "...Orion."

"Oh don't mind me. I'm just here to crash the party."

"Perfect…" Cell sighed before putting on a smile. "Well, if you're here to fight, I do hope you'll provide a better challenge than last time. That Meteor Crash move won't work a second time, so I hope you learned some new tricks."

"As a matter of fact, I did." I told him. I then turned to the camera crew that was a far distance away from us. "So...this is being televised?"

"It looks that way. I even got a sponsorship from HETAP for this tournament." Cell said with genuine surprise.

"Um... They do know that you're going to blow up the planet if you win, right?"

"That's what I said, but they said it would still be a win-win for them."

"Huh…" I looked over to the camera crew, who looked like they were now recording.

"Jimmy Firecracker here, live from the Cell Games presented by HETAP!" The announcer said. "Because apparently nobody else would take this job. But don't worry about me. Because Jimmy Firecrack corn and he don't give a fuck! He'll take any job! He'll take every job! He'll take YOUR job! And speaking of jobs, our first competitor has arrived at the arena!" The announcer, I guess his name is Jimmy Firecracker (That can't be real, right?), rushed over to me and brought the mike to me. "You there, good sir with the amazingly spiky hair! May we get a statement from you?"

"Uh...sure?"

"What is your name good sir, and are you planning on fighting the horrific Perfect Cell? Also, before we started rolling, did we actually see you fly here? And why do you have a monkey tail?"

"Oh, uh...Well my name is Orion. I'm actually an alien known as a Saiyan, which is why I have a tail. I am planning on fighting Cell. And yes, I can fly, along with other things." I told him. Jimmy looked at me for a solid second with a confused and bewildered look.

"...I-Is that so?" He stuttered. "A-And pray tell us why an alien like yourself is living on Earth?"

"Oh no reason. It's a nice place, and my brothers live here."

"There are more of you!?"

"Yeah. A couple do, actually."

"And here I thought the Namekians were the only aliens here…" Jimmy said in disbelief. "Well, I'm glad to know there are so many friendly aliens living here that are willing to fight for this planet as well." We all then heard something and looked over to see a car racing towards us.

"Who in the world-?"

"Oh my lord! I'm receiving word that This. Is. Him, Folks!" Jimmy shouted. " The Man! The Legend! The Winner of the 24th World Martial Arts Tournament! MISTER SATAN!" When the car was parked, a man with an afro and a mustache came out of the car in a dark maroon gi and a white cape. Cell and I looked at this 'Mister Satan' (Again, that can't possibly be his real name, right?) for a solid second. He was just a normal dude from the look and feel of it.

"Maybe I shouldn't have made this an open invite…" Cell muttered as we watched this kook get onto the arena.

"The Champ has stepped up into the ring! Better update that TV-PG to TV-MA, 'cuz you're about to see a full-blown-massacre!" Jimmy shouted. Oh, he has no idea if this guy is seriously going to fight Cell. The 'Champ' then motioned Jimmy and his cameraman to get closer. "Oh! The Champ is calling us over! Come on, Larry! What do I always say?"

"Where there's smoke, there's Firecracker, sir!" The cameraman, Larry, shouted as they ran over to Mister Satan.

"Yer goddang right!" Jimmy said as he got to the Champ and raised his microphone to him. "Mister Satan, sir! What do you have to say to your adoring public? What are you feeling right now?"

"What I'm feeling right now is pity for this creep Cell." Mister Satan told him. "I don't think he's counting on having to go toe-to-toe with the toughest customer this planet has to offer! And I gotta say, running his mouth off the way he's been doing, this situation's gone past what you might call diplomacy. This wus doesn't fool me!" He said as he grabbed the mic from Jimmy. "I see through your tricks like a looker through glass, and you got the whole world out there believing you took down the royal army single handedly! Well I got news for you, pal! That smoke and mirror stuff ain't gonna razzle dazzle me!"

"He...thinks it's all a bunch of tricks?" Cell stated in a horribly confused tone.

"Yeah. Definitely shouldn't have made this an open invite…" I told him as we continued to watch this guy go on and on.

"So! What d'ya hafta say ta THAT!?" Mister Satan asked Cell after finishing his ramblings. Cell just stared at him in pure, honest-to-god, confusion before answering.

"Are you sure about this?" Cell asked. "You look like an extra from a budget porno flick. The kind where everyone gets tested afterwards. Even the cameraman."

"Oh...um, you're-"

"Did they find you in the subway?" Cell cut him off. "Were you homeless? Did you get your start in bum fights?"

"This is getting oddly personal…"

"Do you have any actual friends? Any relationships at all that aren't about your money or your position?"

"...I have a daughter."

"Oh, that poor orphan!"

"C-Can we...Can we cut to commercial?" He asked Jimmy after being blown away by Cell's words. At that moment, Vegeta arrived and landed next to the arena. Surprisingly, Vegeta was also in his Super Saiyan form. I guess he mastered the normal Super Saiyan form too.

"Another man has just touched down onto the arena!" Jimmy said as he rushed over to Vegeta. "Sir! Are you looking to take on the terrifying Perfect Cell? And how is it that you can fly as well?"

"Get that mic out of my face before I give you a colonoscopy with your camera." Vegeta told Jimmy simply while glaring at him.

"M-Message received, violent stranger!" Jimmy said as he backed away. Android 16 landed as well at that moment at the other side of the arena. "That man can fly too? Where are these people coming from?"

"Oh, flying is pretty easy. You just need proper training." I told him.

"Is that so?" Jimmy questioned.

"Yep. No tricks whatsoever. Just simple training and ki control."

"Ki?"

"Life energy, if you will. Every living thing has it." I began to say before I stopped myself when I felt multiple energies heading towards us. Soon, Goku and everyone else landed down next to us, with all the Saiyans in their Super Saiyan forms.

"And our roster is complete." Cell said happily. "I see the whole gang's here for this battle. Piccolo, Trunks, Raditz, Nappa, Yamcha, Krillin...Tien Shinhan."

"Neo Tri-Howdy." Tien greeted Cell with a smile. Krillin looked around and saw 16 moving towards us.

"Hey look at you! They did a nice job repairing you!" Krillin said happily.

"You have my gratitude for all that you have done." 16 said to Krillin. "Without your intervention, or Orion helping repair me, I would not have been fixed."

"Yeah, well, you're welcome." Krillin nodded. Goku then walked up to 16 and offered him his hand.

"Best of luck to you friend." Goku told the Android. 16's kind expression turned deadly serious at him.

"I cannot accept that. I was built for the sole purpose of destroying you. You would be wise to remember that." 16 stated. Goku blinked a bit before turning to me and Krillin.

"Man, this guy's nothin' but gloom and doom…" He whispered to us. Krillin and I only chuckled a bit at that.

"It's time." Cell told us. "Let us begin. I don't care who's first."

"As the World Martial Arts Champion, naturally that would be me!" Mister Satan said as he threw off his cape and entered the ring.

"Wait, you were serious!?" Cell exclaimed. "You're actually gonna fight? I thought you were just somebody's hype man."

"I AM THE HYPE!" Mister Satan shouted. Vegeta looked at Mister Satan for a solid second before turning back to Cell with a deadly serious look.

"KILL HIM!" He shouted.

"That guy? He's dead meat…" Goku grimaced as he watched everything unfold.

"I say we let him go for it." Krillin sighed. "If, er, when he dies, we'll just bring him back with the Dragon Balls."

"So we're literally going to watch Cell kill a man in front of us?" I asked in a disgusted tone.

"Yep." I sighed at Nappa's response. He'll probably be fine, right? Cell did say he would make an "honest" effort to hold back for people like...this. Mister Satan then ran towards Cell and performed a jump kick on him that he called "Dynamite Kick". Cell didn't flinch at all as Mister Satan continued to wail on him with a flurry of punches and kicks. He's...actually has pretty good form and he seems pretty strong for a normal guy, but he's way in over his head. Cell sighed as he raised his arm high into the air.

"Enough, you annoying bug." Cell scoffed as he literally swatted Mister Satan away, sending him straight into a mountain. We all looked over to where he was to see he was somehow still alive. Huh, would you look at that? We should make him a 'I survived a fight from Cell' shirt.

"One thing...I wanted one thing today!" Vegeta shouted when he saw that Mister Satan was still alive.

"What about killing Cell?" Raditz asked.

"Would you believe me if I said this was more important?"

"I'd be shocked otherwise." I told him. Mister Satan wobbled back over here and was forced to sit down by Jimmy and Larry.

"Alright, now that the back of my hand is warmed up, who's first?" Cell asked us.

"That'll be me." I said as I made my way to the ring. I was not about to let Cell go after failing to kill him once. This was my mistake, and I was going to fix it.

"Hold your horses, Orion." Goku stopped me. "You already got to fight Cell once. I haven't even fought him yet, so I think I should go first."

"But…" I was about to object, but the look on Goku's face told me he wasn't going to back down. I sighed as I gestured for him to go. "Knock yourself out."

"Thanks." Goku said as he entered the ring. "And you don't have to use that Meteor Crash move. Everything will be fine. No need for it." I begrudgingly nodded at that and relaxed to watch his fight. I hope he knows what he's doing.

"So we're going to start off with you?" Cell asked. "Suit yourself, I suppose, but I was hoping to save the best for last."

"Yeah, well we'll see. Word is you've adopted some of our fighting techniques." Goku told him.

"You might say that." Cell chuckled. Goku brought his arms together and began to charge an immense amount of power. "Holy Crap! Prince, do you feel that!?"

"Fuck off!"

"And he didn't even have to pump up, like some roiding, angsty child! Right, Trunks?"

"Hurrghh…!" Cell then began to charge his power as well after taunting Vegeta and Trunks. That's when the fight began, with Goku and Cell flying towards each other and clashing with each attack, every one of them causing massive shockwaves around us. They were moving so fast, it was a little hard to keep up with, at least for some of the others here. Gohan looked like he was keeping up easily. I was keeping up too, but I had trouble in a few parts of it.

"I-Is this real!? This has to be a trick!" Mister Satan shouted.

"It's real." I told him. "I would advise you to start believing, or else you might get badly injured here. Also, if you really want to record this fight, you might want to use a high shutter camera. They'll be moving even faster when they get serious." Mister Satan gulped as we continued to watch the fight, while Larry switched to a better camera. Goku and Cell then landed back onto the arena before they rushed each other again. Goku went to punch Cell, which Cell tried to block, only for Goku to disappear using an after-image.

"Wait, so the after-image can't move, so h-how do you even-?" Cell was then cut off by the real Goku breaking his guard and kicking him off the ring, only for Cell to float right before he hit the ground. "Clever little move there. But would you truly have been satisfied with a ring-out?"

"Well yeah; it's how I beat Piccolo, Tien, and Chi-Chi." Goku said.

"Fair enough, Goku; this is a test of skill as well as power." Cell admitted. "But if you're looking for a ring-out, you'll have to try a little bit harder than that." Cell then used Tien's multiform to duplicate into 4 Cells and began to surround Goku as they each began to attack him.

"Ok, this has to be for shits and/or giggles. The Multi-Form technique basically halves your power level with each copy." Tien sighed. The Cells landed on each of the corners of the ring and smirked at Goku.

"Pop quiz, Goku! Which attacks are these?" One of the Cells said as each of the Cells got into different stances to perform each attack. One of them was putting his fingers on his forehead, while the 2nd one was charging two energy blasts in each of his hands. The 3rd one created an energy sword and aimed it at Goku, and the last one opened his mouth wide to shoot a beam out from there.

"Oh, I know these! That's the Special Beam Cannon! Double Sunday! The Sword of Mars to fire Orion's Galactic Photon Ray! And Nappa's Break Cannon!"

"Correct!" Cell shouted as he fired each of the attacks at Goku. Goku flew up high into the air to dodge all of them, but the Cell flew back up to chase him. Goku had finally had enough of the Multi-Form and knocked each of the Cells back to the ground, merging them back together. Cell got back up and the two began to attack each other again, almost knocking the other off the ring several times before they flew high into the air again.

"This has been a magnificent battle. It would be a shame to see it end over something so trivial as going out of bounds." Cell said as he charged energy into his hands and flipped his fingers upward.

"Wait...MOVE!" I shouted as we all ran away from the arena, which soon exploded in incredible fashion. I moved without thinking to Mister Satan and the camera crew and moved them extremely far away from the explosion. At this distance, no sort of shockwave, explosion, or any other attack should affect them now.

"Th-Tha-Thank you for saving us, M-M-Mister O-Orion, sir." Jimmy told me shakily.

"No problem. You might want to stay farther back in case Cell decides to blow up more of the place." I told them as I made my way back to the others. Once Cell and Goku got back to the ground, Cell began to fire multiple blasts at Goku, forcing Goku to fly away as he tried to make a counter attack. Goku avoided all of the blasts and then flew high up into the air.

"Huh...what's he doing up there?" Krillin asked.

"Do you think he's going for a Solar Flare?" I proposed.

"Kaaa…!" Goku shouted as he pressed his palms together.

"That's not how the Solar Flare works!" Piccolo shouted.

"He-He can't be serious…" Cell muttered.

"...Meeeee…!"

"Getting Dad flashbacks here!" Trunks shouted.

"..HAAA…!"

"Kakarot! What are you doing!? You're going to destroy the entire planet!" Raditz yelled.

"Hu, hu-ha-ha-ha, I see! Yes, Goku! You're absolutely right!" Cell shouted. "This is the only way it can end! This tournament, these fools, this planet…! They mean nothing to men like you and I! We will go out together...in a ball of molten rock and death!"

"...MEEE…!" At that moment, Goku vanished from where he was. Cell's eyes widened as he went from looking to where Goku was to right in front of him where Goku was now.

"Oh...crapbaskEEEEEETS!"

"...HAAAAAAAAAAA!" Goku screamed as he fired the beam right in front of Cell, completely destroying his entire top half of his body.

"An Instant Transmission Kamehameha? That's genius!" I shouted.

"All right! Hey Krillin, can I get a 10-count?" Goku asked.

"You got it Goku!" Krillin shouted happily. "1!" Immediately, Cell's legs hopped back up and stood. "2…" Krillin deadpanned as Cell regenerated the entire top half of his body.

"All right, time! Timeout! Time right the hell out!" Cell shouted.

"How did you-?"

"You weren't here for this, but TL;DR, Piccolo cells." Cell explained.

"Okay, I am...90% sure I can't do that." Piccolo objected.

"It must also be the Frieza cells in him." I said. "Frieza somehow survived in the middle of space with most of his body gone. Maybe add in a little android magic and Cell become nigh indestructible, I suppose."

"Maybe, but what I really want to know right now is how you keep popping in and out of reality!" Cell shouted. "Actually, Orion was doing the exact same thing when we fought!"

"Oh, that's just our Instant Transmission." Goku said.

"We learned it on Yardrat." I added.

"So you both can literally teleport? Why couldn't you have learned this back when we gathered your DNA!?" Cell shouted.

"Oh shut up and fight!" Goku yelled as they began to trade blows again. The two began to beat each other senseless again as the entire terrain around them broke apart at the seams. Goku then started firing multiple blasts at Cell, pushing him away until Cell created a giant energy barrier to block the blasts. Goku landed and started to pant heavily.

"Am I imagining things, or did your power level drop like a stone?" Cell asked with a confident smirk. "I'll admit, I'm impressed. A blast that strong should've wiped you, but here you are, still swinging away at me!"

"This is bad." Raditz muttered. "The only times I've seen Kakarot this winded was when he was dying from being beaten by a Great Ape and when he was dying from a heart virus!"

"Wait! What about the Senzu Beans?" Trunks asked.

"I can't believe you're my son." Vegeta scoffed. "Kakarot isn't like you! He's a full-blooded Saiyan warrior! He'd throw that Senzu Bean back in your face, because it's not the world that's at stake, but his Saiyan pride! He'll see this fight to the end without any of our help. Even if it kills him."

"I give up." Goku then told Cell.

"I'LL KILL HIM!" Vegeta shouted.

"I'm sorry, I'm rather high up here." Cell told Goku. "What did you just say, Goku!?"

"I give up! You win! Great fight!" Goku answered. All of us on the sidelines desperately tried to make sense of what Goku was saying.

"Wait, what is he doing?" Gohan asked.

"Well, this is Kakarot, so he's either saving all of our lives or dooming us to die." Nappa grimaced.

"But we're not finished!" Cell began to scream. "I'm not finished! This isn't a victory; this is...I don't even know what this is!"

"Nah, it's totally a victory. 'Cause I'm giving up. That means you win." Goku said.

"Every word you just spoke has made me violently angry!" Cell and Vegeta both screamed at the top of their lungs. "OH, GREAT! NOW I'M AGREEING WITH VEGETA/CELL! LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!"

"Cell, you knew what this was… just a fight. Nothing more. I know I can't beat you, so I'm giving up."

"Well Goku, I hope you're ready to accept the consequences of your actions. You can quit if you want, but if there's no one else to challenge me, I'm going to reduce this planet to rubble!"

"One way or another, I promise this next round's gonna be the last. If I pick loses, then there's probably nobody here who can beat you without killing themselves in the process. Period! Now that I've gauged your power, I'm 100% certain he'll win, no contest."

"What!?"

"That's why I figured I might as well step aside and let him be the one to finish this." Goku said.

"Then who is it? Is it Vegeta? No, it couldn't be; I don't even take my own sloppy seconds." Cell began. "Trunks? No, hardly. He looks like he's about ready to crush coal into diamonds with his sphincter. Oh, could it be Orion or Tien? Please tell me it's one of them."

"Man, it's like a hate boner triangle." I muttered.

"Nope. It's not any of them." Goku as he turned to us. "Time for you to take over, Gohan."
