"I Choose You" Will be done by chapter 27 (that's the plan as of now). Part 3 later this summer. Starting to write it soon!
Very early in the morning of their trip, Olivia was in their bedroom packing up the last of their things in a bag. Noah was lying on his belly on the bed watching her. She kept glancing over at him and each time she did she got more anxious.
Elliot walked into the room and sighed, "Okay. I wrote up the kids' schedules. Checked and double checked. But my Mom knows most of it anyway so we should be good."
Olivia glances at him, "Okay."
He sat down on the edge of the bed, "Almost done packing?" She nodded, "You remember all those incredibly sexy looking numbers I found in the closet?"
She laughed and he wiggled his eyebrows at her, "Yes Elliot."
He could tell she was tense, "Liv…"
She looked at him and it all came pouring out, "What if something bad happens? Or one of the kids gets sick? Or your Mom gets sick? Or Scout or-"
Elliot stood up quickly and put his hands in her arms, "Whoa. Okay. Breathe Liv. Breathe."
She put a hand over her face, "I know in my head we deserve time away. And it isn't that long. But I'm going crazy thinking-"
"You're not going crazy. You're a parent. Who loves her children." He smiled and kissed her forehead, "Human and furchild. You're allowed to worry."
She looked back at Noah, "We have never left him before."
"I know. But he will be okay. It's only a couple of days. I'm going to miss them like crazy too. But we need this Liv. You know we do."
She pulled away and smiled, "I know. I know. You're right. And I'm looking forward to it." She leaned up and kissed him, "I just love our kids so damn much."
"Which is what made me love you even more Liv. You are the most incredible Mother. Our kids hit the jackpot with you. And so did I." He kissed her back. "Want me to finish up so you can spend some time with Noah?"
She sighed and looked up at him, "I don't know what I did in a past life to deserve you. But I decided I'm never letting you go. Hope that's okay."
He chuckled and leaned forward to kiss her again, "You couldn't get rid of me if you tried Liv. I'd follow you even if you didn't want me anymore."
She winked and turned to her son. He reached for her, "Mamma. Up."
Olivia scooped him up and held him close, "Hi baby. Don't do anything life changing or super cute while we're gone. Okay?" Noah snuggled in closser and her heart melted, "Can I just sneak him in my carryon?"
Elliot chuckled and shook his head, "No. But you can call them as many times as you want. I won't even get mad."
Olivia looked at him, "You're a hell of a husband Stabler."
He winked again and finished up packing their bags already looking forward to some time away.
When they landed in California, Olivia was fast asleep on Elliot's shoulder. He smiled, took a deep breath and already felt more relaxed. Dropping a kiss to the top of her head, he squeezed her arm, "Liv?" She mumbled something and he laughed, "Babe, wake up."
She sighed and her eyes fluttered open to look at him, "Hm?"
"We're here." He kissed her head again, "Come on."
She blinked a few times, and looked around, "Oh man. How long was I out?"
He shrugged and started to reach for their bags, "Most of the flight." She gave him a sorry look and he smiled, "Liv, you deserve sleep. It was fine. Besides…" He winked at her and handed her a bag, "Now you'll be nice and rested for tonight."
Her face flushed and she smiled, "Got plans Stabler?"
"Oh. I got plans." He cocked his head towards the aisle, "But we have a conference to get to. So let's go."
An hour later, they were standing in the lobby of the hotel where the conference was being held waiting to be checked in. They were looking over their itinerary, "How to get along with a difficult partner. I think I should go to that one."
Olivia chuckled and slapped his arm, "John's not that bad."
He gave her a look, "He drives me crazy. Or maybe I was just spoiled and now don't want to work with anyone else."
She smiled softly at him and looked down at the paper in her hand again, "Well...once you started sleeping with me that ship sailed right out the window El. Sorry."
He sighed, "Fine. But I miss it."
She reached for his arm and squeezed, "I know. So do I." He moved his hand and slipped it into hers, she laughed, "You do realize technically we're working right now, right?"
He looked around and shrugged, "None of these people know me. I don't care."
She sighed and let him pull her closer, "Elliot…"
"Just making sure everyone around here knows that you are here with someone. Fully taken…" His eyes roamed around.
She laughed and shook her head, "You are a possessive son of a bitch."
"And you knew that when you married me." He smiled and tugged her to the left, "Let's go. The sooner we get these seminars over with. The sooner I can get you alone."
She rolled her eyes and followed him, "God forbid you go a few hours without sex."
He chuckled and pulled her closer, "Yeah. God forbid."
That evening, Elliot was lying on the bed over their hotel room. After hours of lectures, he was spent. While he had learned a lot and understood why Cragen wanted them to come, he was also ready to relax. He could hear Olivia in the shower and he smiled to himself, thinking about the days ahead where they could just be together. He turned to his side and looked out the window and saw the waves crashing on the store. The sound began to soothe him to sleep. He sighed, stretched out on his back in only his boxers and let sleep overtake him.
Ten minutes later, Olivia emerged from the bathroom wrapped in only the small hotel towel. She was running a hand through her wet hair and expected to see her husband awake and waiting for her. Instead, she found him fast asleep. She smiled to herself. He looked so peaceful. He also looked...so damn sexy. She sighed and shifted her weight from foot to foot and watched him. The slow rise and fall of his chest as he breathed. His hand was resting on his abs, she followed the line down his stomach to the hair just above the waistband of his boxers. Biting her lip, she couldn't help herself. And she had promised to make this trip worthwhile.
With a little smile, she wrung out the water in hair and let it trail down her arm. The cold drops did nothing to cool her burning flesh. Tiptoeing towards the bed, she crawled up towards him, he shifted but only slightly. She waited, then reached out and ran her hand up his inner thigh. He mumbled something in his sleep but still didn't wake up. Her hand inched forward and her fingers ran along the length of him, still covered but the material of his boxer shorts. He tensed then and she smiled, knowing it wouldn't take long to summon him back to the land of the living.
Her hand continued to massage him gently and he groaned, then she inched her hand up higher and tugged at the waistband of his boxers. Pulling them down as best she could, she found what she was looking for. It gave her such satisfaction to know that he was already reacting to her touch. Leaning forward, she straddled one of his legs and pressed her lips to the side of his cock. It twitched and she had to bite back the laugh on her lips. It was too easy. And God she loved it. Her tongue trailed from the base of him, all the way up to the tip of him. She heard him mumble her name under his breath and it spurred her on even more. Her hand reached out, and stroked him gently, before she wrapped her lips around the tip of his cock and slowly, so slowly took him in. Inch by inch. Her eyes darted up towards his face and she saw the shift in him. He was waking up. Just a little more and she'd have him right where she wanted him.
Moving her mouth up and down one more time, she reached out and trailed her fingers along his abdomen. He groaned and his hand reached out to her, tangling his hands in her hair, "Olivia…"
She smiled, but never pulled away from him. Her fingers scratched along the lines of his abs and her other hand moved up to join her mouth sending him into a frenzy. He gripped her hair harder and sighed her name again, "Olivia...Jesus. Let's make this my new personal alarm clock, Okay?"
She laughed and the vibration made him tense. Pulling away, she looked up at him as she continued to stroke him up and down with her hand, "I think we can arrange that."
He ran his hands through her wet hair, "Come here."
She smiled and shook her head, "Not yet."
Before he could even protest, she had pulled him back into her warm mouth and he was lost. He couldn't try and get her to stop. He didn't want her to stop. He couldn't take his eyes off of her as she moved over him so painfully slowly. He could die happy watching this scene unfold before him. He couldn't help himself as he pushed his hips upwards. She never flinched though. She took him all the way in until he touched the back of her throat and he groaned loudly. "Fuck Liv…"
She pulled away then only to take a quick breath but he couldn't stop himself. He grasped her arms and pulled her up causing the towel to fall away from her body, exposing her to him, "El!"
He quickly rolled her over on the bed, "I can't take anymore I need to be in you." She arched into him as he squeezed her hips and crushed his lips against hers, "You're so fucking sexy."
She felt him pressed against her belly and she shivered, "Elliot, now. God now...please."
He bit his lip and looked her up and down, "Are you-"
She smiled, took his hand and helped him trace a line from her throat, down her chest, between her breasts, lower and lower until he was touching her right where she wanted him. She heard him groan and she knew he felt it, "Can't expect a girl to walk out from a shower to find her gorgeous husband asleep and not get turned on."
He groaned and dipped his finger between her folds, curling it up causing her to cry out, "You liked what you saw?"
She bit her lip and reached for his arm, digging her nails into his skin, "Always."
He leaned down and kissed her hard, "Tell me what you want Liv."
She sighed and slid her leg between his, running her foot along his calf, "You know what I want."
He smiled down at her and shook his head, "Oh no, I want you to say it. Tell me what you want Olivia. Say it."
Smiling, she ran her hands down his shoulders, along his chest and shoved him off of her. "Fine."
He fell with a huff onto his back and reached for her, "What-"
Grabbing his arm, she pulled him up again and crawled up towards him, resting her knees on the mattress, "I want you." She leaned in and kissed him, "To fuck me."
He growled, sat up and moved behind her, pulling her back up against his chest. Brushing her hair to the side, he bit down on the flesh of her neck and she pushed back against him again. His hand moved to the front of her and grabbed hers, tangling them together he pressed them both between her legs, "You sure that's what you want?"
She smiled and felt him press her fingers against her clit, "I'm sure."
He used his free hand to turn her face towards him kissing the side of her mouth. She moaned softly and then he moved his hand to her lower back, pressing her down causing her to gasp. Reaching out for the sheets in front of her, she squeezed but kept her hand between her legs knowing that's what he wanted. And suddenly he was filling her and she couldn't control the words that spilled from her mouth. She heard him laugh and she wanted to hate him for being so cocky but she couldn't. Instead, it just turned her on more. He dug his fingers into her hips and pulled her back hard against him. "Olivia…"
Arching her back, she moaned loudly, not caring how loud she was, "Oh my God...don't stop."
He squeezed her hips hard, wondering if he was going to leave a mark. She didn't seem to mind though. Over and over again he slammed into her, the sound of their skin coming together setting the pace. He heard her calling out to him, becoming more frantic and he wasn't ready for it to be over but he knew she was close. Pulling out of her quickly, he heard her groan, "Damn it Elliot what-"
"Shhh…" His hand slid down her back and smiled, "Don't move."
"What are you-" Her words died on her lips when she felt his mouth on her lower back and she hissed, "Elliot…"
"Shhhh." He whispered again, "I've got you. Just relax."
Her eyes fluttered shut and she gave herself over to him, knowing she could be as uninhibited as she wanted to be. He was always there to fulfill all her fantasies. She couldn't help but smile when his lips and tongue continued their journey lower and lower. And when his tongue pushed between her folds she cried out again, "Elliot!"
He smiled against her flesh and focussed on his task at hand. He held her in place as he worked, being spurred on by the sounds she was making. He moved her fingers away from her center and nudged her with his nose making her shudder. Her legs started shaking and he knew that just a little more and she'd come undone. Gripping her tight, he pressed his mouth harder against her and she gripped the sheets in front of her. His tongue slid across her clit and she jumped, "Come on Liv…" He mumbled against her flesh, "Come on."
She whimpered, feeling the release coming. The sweet oblivion that only he could only unleash in her. She gasped, feeling the knot of pleasure build and build until it became too much. One more swipe of his tongue and she shattered, screaming his name as she fell against the mattress. Her body was shaking and he kissed his way up her back before turning her to face him, "Olivia…"
She reached for him and smiled, "Damn El…"
He smiled down at her and rolled over so he could settle between her legs again, "Tell me when you're ready for me again."
She smiled sleepily, "You're going to kill me aren't you?"
He chuckled and kissed her neck, "Not trying to kill you. Just keep you satisfied. Always satisfied."
Her body was still on fire but she still wanted more, "El...no one has ever satisfied me the way you do. And no one ever will."
He moved to her lips, kissed her softly and then bit her lip, "Damn right about that. Me and only me. Forever."
He slammed back into her and they both groaned, feeling her clench around him still, "Oh my God…"
Resting himself on his forearms he stared down at her, and sighed as he kissed her, "Wrap your legs around me."
Her legs shook but she did just as he asked and he moved deeper, "Fuck…"
His lips found hers again and he groaned into her mouth. Her hands slid under his arms and her nails scratched down his back and he knew she'd leave a mark. But he didn't give a damn. He moved harder, faster, heard her getting louder. Her legs tightened around him and he filled her completely making them both shudder. "Olivia…"
She moved her hands to his face, holding him close, "So close El. So close. Come on."
He locked eyes with her as he moved and she never blinked. Her brown eyes held him captive and he felt himself drowning in her again. When she locked her ankles together, pulling him further in and she began to come undone herself, he lost himself in her. "Olivia…"
He collapsed against her and she wrapped her arms around his neck, not willing to let go, "Jesus Elliot…"
He smiled against her neck, leaving gentle kisses along the slope until he moved up to her lips, "Says the woman who woke me up with my cock in her mouth."
She growled and bit down on his ear, "Talk like that and you'll have me ready to go again."
He chuckled and slowly extracted himself from her, falling to his side, "Give me a minute and I'll be there with you."
She sighed, pressed a hand into her belly and stretched out her legs, "All these years later and it still feels just like the first time. Actually…" She turned to look at him, "Even better."
He smiled happily and reached for her hand, tangling her fingers with his, "Better and better."
She smiled, rolled to her side and wrapped her leg with his, biting down his shoulder she sighed, "So much for my shower. I'm all sweaty again."
He chuckled and ran his hand down her back, "We can always take another one."
She smiled and looked out at the ocean, "Or we could go for a swim…"
He smiled and kissed the top of her head, "Too bad we're not somewhere private like our honeymoon. Skinnydipping would be fun…
She smiled, and crawled over him, "Save it for our next vacation…"
He followed her and started searching for his swimsuit. A few minutes later, she was standing before him in her swimsuit with two towels. He grabbed their key and followed her. It was late and the beach was empty. She dipped her toes in the water and shrieked, "It's cold!"
He smiled and wrapped his arms around her from behind, "You said you needed to cool off."
She pressed her hands into his arm, "I said I was sweaty. That was your fault."
"Again...you started it." He nipped at her neck, "Not that I'm complaining. I wasn't kidding about you waking me up that way every morning. Screw my alarm."
She laughed and stepped away from him, "I'll see what I can do." Tugging his hand towards the water she smiled, "Come on. I can cool down and then you can bring me back upstairs and warm me up in the shower."
He chuckled as he followed her, "God I love you."
She winked as he followed her into the water, "Right back at ya."
He scooped her up, and she wrapped her arms around his waist again laughing as he let them both drop into the water. It felt good to be so damn happy again.
The next day, they had rented a jeep and were driving along the coast with the top down. Elliot was behind the wheel, the music played on the radio and he looked over at her, smiling as he drove. She looked so relaxed, something he hadn't seen in quite a few months. Reaching across the console, he grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips. Pressing his lips against his lips he heard her sigh, "You okay?"
She turned her head on the back of hte seat and smiled at him, "I'm good El. Really good."
He smiled and put her hand on his thigh, "You were right...we needed this."
She turned her body towards him and smiled, "We did." She watched him driving and she smiled, "I miss the kids. But...it's nice to spend some time with you. Just you."
He pulled off the road to a small secluded beach, "Yes it is."
She put her sunglasses on and looked out at the beach in front of her, "We used to spend a lot of alone time together. In a car. It wasn't as nice as this one."
He chuckled, "Hey...squad car number five was nice. Comfortable."
She smiled and unclicked her seat belt, turning towards him, "You're right." She felt the sun shining down her and smiled, "Remember that summer we had to drive that worst squad car and it had no AC? And we always somehow got stuck in massive amounts of traffic. God you were such an ass that summer."
He snorted with laughter, "It was your fault!"
She gasped and pressed a hand to her chest, "My fault? How the hell was it my fault? I didn't break the AC."
"No. You didn't break the AC...but you were constantly stripping down to your tank tops. Leaving very little to the imagination. Torturing me slowly." He growled at her.
She laughed and tossed her head back, "What was I supposed to do? Die of heat stroke in the car?"
He huffed, "Well I couldn't take my shirt off!"
She smiled and nudged his leg, "I wouldn't have minded. You should have just done it. Could have saved us a lot of trouble."
"What were you going to jump me in the squad car?" He teased.
"Have you seen yourself shirtless Stabler? Yeah. I would have." She tilted her head back again towards the sun.
"I'll remember that next time." He said with a smile.
Her head snapped up, "You going shirtless in front of Munch in the squad car? Better only be Munch. You ever get a female partner again and take your shirt off in front of her, I'll kill her and then you."
He chuckled and reached for her hand again, "I meant next time you and I are trapped in a car together again without AC. Not Munch or anyone else for that matter."
"Hm…" She traced circles on his palm, "John will probably retire before you…"
He heard it in her voice and he sighed, "Olivia…"
"I'm just saying...someday you'll have another partner. It could be a female. A pretty, young female who you'll be trapped in the car with. Maybe without AC and you'll think about it. And-" He cut her off by leaning across the car and kissing her, "El…"
"You know what I'll think about?" He smiled and traced the side of her face with his thumb, "You. And the time I spent with you as my partner. And the time I spend with you and will spend with you as my wife. There is no one in this world that I'll ever want the way I want you Olivia. Not now, not five years from now or ten, not for the rest of my life. No matter what happens. No matter who my partner is or isn't. It's you. Only you."
"That's good to know." She sighed and smiled sweetly, "But if and when you do get a female partner...I'm taking her out to dinner to lay some ground rules. Just so she knows who she is dealing with."
He laughed and sat back in his chair, "Will you be holding her at gunpoint?"
She shrugged, "I don't know. Depends on how she reacts. But maybe. If I have to get my point across."
"Well according to Munch all I do is talk about you. So...like I said. You have nothing to worry about. IF I ever get another female partner. She'll know all about you." He winked and kissed her hand again.
"Okay." She sighed and reached for the door handle, "But just in case, maybe get my face tattooed on your chest so if she ever even tries to make a move she'll see me first."
He was howling with laughter as she exited the car and the sound of his laughter filled her with joy. It was only a matter of seconds before he was at her side again, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her against his side. She wrapped her arms around his middle and squeezed tight, feeling the broken pieces of herself falling back into place.
That night, they had eaten dinner in a quiet little bistro. Afterwards they had called the kids to say goodnight. And now, they were walking hand in hand down the beach. Olivia had slipped off her shoes and carried them in one hand and held his hand close with her other hand. She heard him sigh as they walked. "You okay?"
He turned towards her and smiled, "Yeah. I'm good. Just...happy."
She moved closer, moving her hand so she could loop her arm around his instead, "Good."
"I was thinking…" He peeked at her out of the corner of his eye, "We should try and make more time for us. Just you and me. Not necessarily always a trip away. But...we need more date nights. To check in."
She smiled at him and nodded, "That would be nice."
"Our life is busy…" He chuckled and shook his head, "Five kids, a dog, full time jobs. It's easy to get caught up in it all. But you and me…" He stopped working and turned her towards him, "You and I are important. Just as important as all the rest of it."
She smiled and dropped her shoes down to the sand behind them, "I agree."
Slipping his hands around her waist he pulled her closer, smiling as he began to sway her back and forth, "Olivia…"
She smiled and rested her chin on his shoulder, "Oh, we're dancing again?"
He laughed and kissed the side of her face, "We are."
She felt his heart beating against his chest and sighed, focussing on the sound of it and the crashing waves behind her, "El?"
He turned her slowly, never pulling away from her, "Yeah?"
She swallowed the lump in her throat and looked at him, "Do you ever feel...guilty?"
He frowned and moved a hand to brush her hair away from her face as it danced around her in the wind, "Guilty? For what?"
She shrugged and looked down at his chest, "For...being this happy. For all we do have? For...moving on."
He stopped moving then and watched her carefully, "Olivia, we're allowed to be happy. Allowed to find...peace."
She nodded, "I know. It's just...sometimes with the things we see...the people we meet...I wonder what we did to deserve this. Even with the pain we've experienced. I'm here right now with you and I just feel so fucking grateful for all we do have."
He smiled and cupped her face in his hands, leaning forward he kissed her, "We have been incredibly fortunate Liv. I ask myself everyday what I did to deserve you. But we don't need to feel guilty. But we should know how lucky we are and hold onto it. Forever. No matter what life throws at us. We'll always have this...you and me."
She sighed and felt the tears burning in her eyes, "Elliot...I never would have survived the last few months without you. Thank you for...for being my rock. Every single time I thought I was going to fall apart completely, you were there to catch me."
"And I always will be." He tangled his hands in her hair and kissed the side of her face, "But you were my rock too. This...this was a lot. It was harder than I ever could have imagined. And part of me will never get over it completely. Neither will you. But we're here. And we still have a life to live."
She smiled and breathed him in, getting lost in all that made up her husband, "I love you."
Tilting her head back he let his eyes linger over hers, "I love you too. Always."
Pressing up on her bare feet, her toes dug into the sand and her lips found his. Her safe place. When he pulled away, he kissed her forehead twice, wrapped his arm around her shoulder and walked with her along the beach.
On the last day of their trip, Elliot woke to the sun shining in through the window. He took a few deep breaths, stretched his legs and then turned his head. She was fast asleep beside him, curled up against the pillow at his side. She looked so peaceful. A lock of her hair had fallen across her forehead in her sleep. Reaching out, he gently brushed it aside causing her to shift in her sleep but not wake up. He smiled, and took in her appearance. Her skin was even more golden after a few days in the sun and a few freckles covered her cheeks and across her nose. He felt his heart clench in his chest just looking at her and realizing she was all his.
Rolling onto his side, he let his fingers hover over the line of her arm. He didn't touch her but he could feel the warmth she radiated. His eyes followed the path of her arm down her hip to where the blanket rested at her hip. He knew she was only wearing one of his t-shirts, and the thought of what lay underneath made the fire begin to build inside of him as always. Biting his lip, he carefully pulled at the blanket and revealed her long legs to him. He groaned and saw goosebumps jump on her flesh causing her to roll further onto her back, her legs parted, "Fuck…"
He couldn't help himself. She was gorgeous. And she was all his. He smiled to himself, remembering the way in which she had woken him up just days before. And seeing as today was the last day of their trip…
Not wanting to wake her just yet, he moved slowly to settle between her legs. As carefully as he could, he pushed her left leg to the side, opening her more to him. He heard her sigh but she didn't seem to wake up yet. Pressing gentle kisses to her thighs, he moved higher, until he was right where he wanted to be. First he placed a kiss against her and he felt her tense in her sleep but then relax. He paused only for a moment, wondering if he could continue. But he couldn't control himself. And before he could stop himself, he was tasting her. Slowly. So slowly but he knew she felt it because she was beginning to react. In more ways than one.
Sliding his hands under her thighs, he pulled her closer to his mouth making her slide down on the bed and he heard a gasp. "El-what-"
He smiled against her and shook his head causing his nose to bump against her clit making her shudder, "Morning Liv."
She reached out to him, her hands grasping his head as she arched her back off the bed, "Jesus Christ…"
He chuckled and the vibrations made her cry out to him again, "Couldn't help myself. You looked good enough to devour."
She laughed slightly and tried to breathe as her knees buckled, "Coulda just ordered room service if you were hungry babe."
He laughed again and lifted his head to look at her, "You taste better. Also...you just called me babe."
She shot him a death glare but before she could say any more he was back to his previous mission and she cursed, "I fucking hate you."
Moving his hand, he slid a finger inside of her smiling at how wet she was, "You sure about that? Doesn't feel that way to me?"
"Nope. Hate you. Fuck." She gripped him tighter as his finger curled inside of her, "Elliot, oh my God!"
"Okay. Well I can stop if you want me too…" He started to pull away, giving her the most innocent look he could muster up.
She growled and grabbed his hand and rolled him over quickly hearing him laugh as his back hit the mattress. Straddling his hips, she stared down at him and huffed, "You're going to be the death of me."
His hands reached out, grabbed her hips and helped her slide along the length of him, "Nah. I wanna keep you around babe."
She gripped his shoulder with one hand and then found his cock with the other, squeezing causing him to curse under his breath, "Stabler...I think we're going to kill each other."
He laughed slightly but pushed up against her hand, "Well, double murder then. We'll be in the paper. Two of New York's finest kill each other on vacation in bed."
She chuckled and began to guide him inside of her slowly, "What will the people think?"
He gripped her hips tighter and pulled her down, causing her to sink all the way down on him, "That we had probable cause and it was inevitable."
She smiled and flipped her hair to one side, pulled off his shirt and leaned down to capture his lips with his, "If I happen to survive…" She bit down on his lip, "The jury will let me off when they see a picture of you." She twisted her hips, "I'm sorry your honor. I couldn't help myself. He was just too fucking sexy…"
He laughed against her lips and lifted his hips to match her movements causing them both to groan, "Please, I'd get off easy too. Have you seen yourself? The jury would feel sorry for me realizing how much you tortured me."
She smiled and leaned back again, resting her hands against his thighs as she rotated her hips, "Got off easy? Hopefully not too easy right now El...I'm not ready for it to be over just yet."
He bit down hard on his lip and dug his fingers into her sides as he watched her, "Olivia...you really are going to kill me. Look at you."
She moved her hands to brace them against his chest, digging her nails into his skin and muscles, "You're the one that started this. I was perfectly content sleeping."
He gasped when she raked her nails over his nipples, "I only learned from the best. Taking a note out of your book from the other night."
She smiled and leaned down to kiss him again, "I love vacation Elliot and Olivia. They are fun."
Sliding his hands up her back, he tangled his hands in her hair, tugged back and smiled at her, "We can bring them back to New York if you want. I'm happy to wake you up this way anytime."
He rolled them over quickly and she whimpered when he slid out of her, "Promises, promises. I'll believe it when I see it."
He settled between her legs, then lifted one and hooked her knee up over his shoulder taking him by surprise, making her scream, "Okay. But our kids are going to need a lot of therapy if you scream like that."
She laughed slightly but soon it turned into a moan, "Send the bills to the Department. It's their fault for putting us together as partners."
"Hell...I'll give them my paycheck back as a thank you for giving me this." He slammed back into her, "Jesus Olivia…"
One hand reached out to him and gripped his forearm, the other tugged hard on the sheets at her side, "Elliot...so deep. Please...oh God please…"
He turned his head and bit her calf, following it with a kiss when he heard her cry out, "You are so beautiful."
"Trying to be sweet now?" She panted hard, "Oh the many moods of my husband…"
He smiled and lifted her other leg, draping it over his shoulder like the other, "Not trying to be sweet. Just stating facts. Can't wake up to this and not think I'm going to lose my mind." He slammed into her and she tensed, "So beautiful. And all mine."
Arching off the bed she felt him fill her completely, "Yours Elliot. Only yours."
He smiled and suddenly set a relentless rhythm and soon her legs were shaking against him. He held them tight to his chest to keep her in place. The louder she got, the harder he slammed into her. And when he felt her whole body tense around him, he let his head fall back, "Fuck Liv…"
Her nails scratched down his arms as she shattered around him, "Elliot!"
The sound of his name on her lips did him in and he couldn't even fight it. He moved slowly then, still pumping into her as they both came undone. Her legs fell away from him, shaking as they hit the mattress. He fell to his side and put a hand to his chest feeling it pump wildly against his ribs, "You might need to call 911."
She pressed a hand to her belly, feeling it flutter slightly as her body still tingled and burned, "I would if I could but I can't move."
"Oh." He smiled and reached for her hand and pressed it to his lips, "Then we really will die together. Right here on this bed."
She chuckled and turned to wrap herself around him, "You jump I jump. I die, you die. We go down in this ship together either way El."
He laughed harder and moved his arm to wrap around her. Pulling her against his chest, he dropped a kiss to the top of her head, "I love you."
She smiled against him and sighed, "I love you too."
They lay there for a few minutes to catch their breath and just enjoy the time together. All they heard was their breathing and the crashing of the waves outside and for these brief few minutes it felt like they were the only two people in the world. Her fingers traced patterns against his abdomen and he heard her sigh, "You okay?"
She smiled again and kissed his shoulder, "I'm good."
Tangling his hand in her hair, he tilted her face towards him so he could see her eyes. He knew she couldn't lie to him if he saw her eyes, "You sure?"
Lifting her hand, she caressed the side of his face and smiled, "I'm sure. I was just thinking...how happy I am right now. With you. And as much as I'd like to stay here forever...I also miss the hell out of our babies."
He smiled and shifted them so he could kiss her gently, "I know. Me too."
She held him close, not wanting to move, "Think Noah learned anything new?"
He laughed, "I'm sure Richie taught him something he shouldn't have. I'll have to break that habit."
She giggled, "Well as long as he didn't walk…"
"Nah. He'll save that for his Momma." He kissed her again and smiled, "This has been a really great trip. Thank you for planning it."
"Anytime." She smiled, "So next time Cragen suggests a conference…"
"I'll say yes. Absolutely yes." He rolled them over and looked at the clock, "You know...we still have a few more hours before we really need to start getting ready. And it looks a little overcast out there. I'd be okay staying in bed. In fact...I'm getting hungry again."
She laughed loudly as he started to move lower, "What's on the menu?"
Later that day, they were in the cab driving down the road towards their house. They were both tired but it didn't matter. They knew the moment they got home it would be loud and crazy but they welcomed it. They had missed their kids so much. Pulling into the driveway, she turned to her husband and smiled. He gave her a wink and then climbed out of the cab to get their bags. The front door burst open and Richie and Scout came bounding down the front steps.
Olivia smiled as the boy launched himself at her, "Mom!"
She picked him up and felt Scout jumping at her heels, barking to get her attention, "Hi boys! Oh it's so good to see you!"
Richie pulled away to look at her, "Welcome home."
"Thank you baby." She kissed his cheek twice and let him slide down before she bent to pet Scout, "Hi Scout! I missed you too!" The dog ran in circles around her and she laughed, "I take it you missed us too?"
Elliot came around the cab and handed a bag to his son, "Hey bud. Think you can handle it?"
Richie looked up at him, "Depends, what's in this one?"
Olivia laughed as she scratched Scout behind the ears, "That's the present bag."
"I got it! I got it!" He grabbed the bag and ran towards the house.
Olivia stood up and took another bag from him, "It's good to be home."
He leaned in and kissed her softly, "Damn good."
After a delicious dinner prepared by Bernie, they sat around in the living room while the kids caught them up on all the things they had missed. Presents were passed out and laughs were shared. Elliot and Olivia were sitting across from each other, Noah was on the floor between hem playing with the toy they brought him.
"He looks bigger." Olivia said with a pout, "I told you we should have stuck him in my carryon."
Elliot laughed, "Babies grow. It's science. Couldn't be helped. Besides...not sure Noah would have enjoyed our trip."
He gave her a wink and she laughed, "Probably not."
"Next vacation, can we all go together?" Lizzie asked with a pout, "Please?"
Elliot smiled over at her, "Absolutely kiddo. Where should we go?"
"Back to Disney World!" Richie yelled, "Noah's never been."
"We may have to wait on Disney World until he's a little older so he can really enjoy it." Elliot said as he lifted his son up on his feet, the boy stomped on the ground, "But someday we can go."
"As long as we can go, I'll wait!" Richie said as he tossed his soccer ball in the air, "Hopefully by the time we go Noah will learn to walk. We tried this week but he wasn't having it."
Olivia scoffed, "How could you try without me here?"
"Don't worry. Mo practically knocked him down everytime she thought he might. He'll probably be too traumatized to even try anymore." Kathleen said with a laugh.
Maureen shrugged, "I promised Mom I wouldn't let him do anything major until she got back!"
"And I appreciate that." Olivia said with a smile, "I knew you were my favorite."
"Hey!" The other three kids shouted loudly.
She chuckled and stuck her tongue out at them, "I'm kidding! I'm kidding!" Scout jumped towards her and she smiled, "We know Scout is my favorite."
Everyone laughed and Elliot smiled as Noah's legs kicked out in front of him, "Oh boy...someone's moving tonight." Noah squealed, "You want to go see Mommy?" Noah shrieked again, "Go walk to Mommy bud. You can do it."
Olivia held her breath and the room got quiet, "Come on Noah...come on baby."
His little feet wobbled against the floor under his feet and Elliot helped him get steady, "You can do it Noah. Go on."
Olivia held her arms out, her heart was pounding in her chest, "Come here baby. Come on."
Noah's fingers wrapped around Elliot's and squeezed as he moved his foot forward. Elliot held on as long as he could and watched in amazement as the young boy began to move towards his wife. Even on his fifth kid, this moment was everything to him. Especially getting to share it with Olivia. He saw the look on her face. The look of pure love and excitement. He wanted to commit this to memory. Everything slowed down as Noah took one small step after another. "You're doing it Noah! Keep going buddy! Keep going!"
Noah smiled at his Mom as he got closer and closer but she just sat there, arms wide open, ready to catch him if needed. But he never fell. He walked all the way up to her, stopped in front of her and said, "Momma."
Olivia wrapped her arms and legs around him and laughed through her tears, "You did it!"
Everyone cheered around them and she fell on her back, holding Noah up over her high in the air making him squeal. The other kids were celebrating and Elliot moved towards the two of them on the floor. He smiled down at Olivia and looked at their son, "He did it."
She beamed up at him and pressed Noah to her chest, "Thank you for this life El."
Noah snuggled into her embrace and Elliot rubbed his back, "Don't thank me...we did this together Liv. You and I built this together."
He leaned down and kissed her and she couldn't help but feel so overwhelmed with gratitude. Sitting up again, she leaned against his chest and helped Noah back onto his feet so he could walk towards his siblings. This life...this life was so damn good
