Prologue

Underworld- Gremory Estate (Nighttime)

Naruto Gremory, twin of Rias Gremory, was currently wandering on the outside of his family's estate. He couldn't sleep as he was plagued with nightmares tonight and thought a walk outside would soothe his mind so that he could go to bed. He and his sister had just turned six years old and had recently received their evil pieces. They were both excited to build their peerages.

While walking outside, he came to the edge of the mansion walls and decided to head back to bed when all of a sudden aa portal opened up and he was sucked in. As he was being pulled in, he was spotted by his mother, Venelana, who desperately tried to save her baby boy to jo avail as the portal sucked in naruto and closed behind him.

Nobody noticed that just on the edge of their territory, with a dark smirk on his visage , was a member of the old satan faction who was acting on orders of his superiors.

Elemental Nations

Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki were heading back to Konoha, their home. They had just finished their first mission together as a couple and had just entered the land of fire. Continuing to jump through the trees towards home, they abruptly stopped and jumped to the ground where they were met with the sight of an injured young redheaded boy. He couldn't be more than five or six years old. Looking at the boy, kushina felt her heart go out to him and looking to minato with pleading eyes she asked "can we take him with us?" Gazing at the young boy, minato nodded and gently picked up the boy before they made their way back to konoha.

Upon arriving in the village, kushina took naruto to the hospital while minato went to give the hokage his report.

Two days later, naruto stirred and blinked a few times. He looked around and found himself in a strange room with a redheaded woman sleeping in a chair nearby. He drifted off back to sleep where he slept for a few more hours. As he opened his eyes again, he muttered just one word that kushina heard as clear as day, "kaa-chan." Hearing that, she was overjoyed and wished to take the boy as her son. Soon the door opened and minato and the sandaime, hiruzen sarutobi, entered the room. Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, naruto looked around and saw all the people in the room.

"Ughhh, where am I?" asked the young boy while looking around but inwardly thinking about how he should go about this. "You are in a hospital in Konoha in the land of fire. We found you just as we entered the land of fire borders and brought you here," said minato while studying the boy. "Ahhh….thank you for helping me then minato-san, ummmm pretty red haired lady," said naruto with a smile resulting in kushina to blush a bit.

"I am hiruzen sarutobi, the hokage of the leaf. Might I know your name young one?" asked the hokage. Looking towards the old man, naruto could sense his aura which was one of power and demanded respect. Deciding to keep his true origins a secret for now, he responded "My name is Naruto…. I don't remember my last name. All I remember is my parents telling me to run as the place where we were was going to be attacked."

"Hmmmm…I see," was the response of the man known as 'the god of shinobi'. "You have red hair as well as violet eyes which are characteristics of the uzumaki clan. Perhaps you are a survivor of their destruction?" pondered sarutobi. "Well young one, would you like to stay in this village since I am sure that you don't have anywhere else to go?" asked sarutobi. Getting a nod in response, kushina piped up, " he can stay with us. I mean he is potentially an uzumaki so he is family. Even if he isn't part of the clan, I would still like to adopt him… that is if he wants to," finished kushina looking to naruto.

Pondering the situation for a moment, naruto looked at her and gave a big smile and said that he would love to. "Very well then, see me in my office before the end of today kushina for the necessary paperwork." Said the hokage. "Hai, sarutobi-ojisan," was the response he got. Meanwhile minato just looked on from the sidelines.

Checking out from the hospital, kushina, minato and naruto made their way to the hokage office where they filled out the necessary forms for adoption and naruto was now known as naruto uzumaki. They then took him shopping for clothes and other essentials after which they went home, had dinner and retired to bed for the night.

In his new room, naruto thought about his real home in the underworld and his true parents and family. No doubt his mother would be in tears, his brother would tear apart the underworld looking for him and his twin would be devastated. However, he knew that he had no way back right now so the only thing he could do was learn the ways of this world and survive here while keeping an eye out for a way back home. He rolled over and had one thought in his mind as sleep claimed him, 'okaa-chan'.

A.N. so naruto is originally from the dxd world and was thrust into the naruto world. Probably his counterpart would be menma. The next chapter would have a timeskip and may venture back to the dxd world for a bit. The pairing is undecided at the moment. Also I do not own naruto or high school dxd, the rights for those belong to their authors. I only own any OCs that may appear.
