Ranma Half Moon 2: Phrase White - Chapter 64 - A Yesterday Never Known - Part 3

Ranma-ko, Minako, Haruka, and Michiru wait patiently in Haruka's sports car.

Michiru nudges Haruka. "How do you think they are doing?"

Haruka shrugs. "How knows?"

Minako fidgets a little. "This thing you gave me to wear under my shirt itches."

Haruka laughs. "It's Kevlar. Bullets will not go through it. However, if you do get shot, it will leave a huge bruise."

Minako and Ranma-ko look at each other and shudder.

Ayaka looks at the carnage through the scope of her rifle. Crap. There's so much smoke I can't see a thing. I'll have to switch to thermal.

Ayaka puts on thermal goggles. What the heck? It's like there's no one there! Oh wait, I see one person moving around. Her silhouette looks like Beagle. But why is she fighting herself? Oh, I get it. The guards are undead. They are the same temperature as their surroundings so they do not show up.

Ayaka waits for Riho to stop moving around and then fires several shots at head level several yards away from her. At least I am not hitting them with friendly fire.

Ayaka sees Riho bend over and shake something. Another silhouette rises from the ground.

Erina runs over to Kanon and shakes her. "Come on! No time for snoozing here!"

Kanon shakes her head. "I'll drink instant coffee if it is from your lips."

Erina shakes her again. "You're not at a host club. We're taking fire."

Kanon wakes up. "Collie, what happened?"

"You got knocked down. If you can get up, you have to fight."

Kanon stands up. She sees Mizuki being helped up by Riho.

Riho pushes her hands together. "Crowd together. Producer-san is shooting around us."

They comply and start moving towards the car. When a guard would get close to them, the girls would shove them away into Ayaka's line of fire.

Finally, they get near the car. Ayaka stops shooting for fear of hitting them.

Ayaka puts on a gas mask. "Hold your breath!" Ayaka throws a grenade that explodes and releases a cloud of the same chemical that Mizuki uses to knock people out. However, the chemical is diluted so the effect is only supposed to be temporary.

"Crap!" Ayaka sees the gas affected the girls. She jumps out of the car with a baseball bat and drags the girls inside of the back of the car. After a few well executed acrobatic moves and well placed bat swings against some late arriving guards, Ayaka makes it back into the car.

Ayaka drives away as fast as she can. After six blocks, she pulls into an alley. She crawls into the back of the car and starts slapping the girls.

Riho opens her eyes. "We made it?"

Ayaka smiles. "You guys are too dumb to die yet."

Kanon moans. "My head."

Mizuki sits up with difficulty. "Sorry, Airedale, that's a side effect of the sleep grenade. You should feel better tomorrow."

Erina gives Mizuki a sour look. "Greyhound, are you nuts?" Erina pulls off her flack jacket and starts scraping off the bullets that were flattened against her Kevlar layer. She then pulls off her Kevlar to leave nothing but a bra on top. "Does this look like it will feel better tomorrow?"

Mizuki looks at the multiple deep bruises on Erina's torso. "Okay, Collie. Tomorrow is going to suck really bad. Okay?"

"I guess so."

Mizuki grabs the phone and calls Haruka. "All clear."

"Roger." Haruka hangs up.

Mizuki sighs. "I wonder if Haruka is going to be able to handle those guys?"

Ayaka strokes her chin. "Hmm. She saw through your guys' cover, right?"

Mizuki nods.

"Well, let's hope that she has a plan. In the meantime there are ice packs for you bruises. They won't look as bad tomorrow if you ice them now."

"Yes!"

Haruka smiles. "Time to rock and roll!"

Ranma-ko nods. "So, what is our plan?"

Haruka raises an eyebrow. "Plan?"

Ranma-ko face plants. "You don't have a plan?"

"My plan is only for the first thirty seconds. I am going to drive my car through the gate. We are going to get out and enter the building's side entrance. After that, who knows?"

"Okay." Ranma-ko rolls his eyes.

"Hold on." Haruka guns the car and then drives the car at a tremendous speed at the plant.

Minako panics. "Baka!"

The car punches a hole in the fence and makes it into the courtyard.

The car comes to a rest by the side door of the plant. A couple of guards are nearby and Ranma and Minako take them out with a flying kick and a flying chop.

Michiru pulls something out of a bag. "Stand back!" Michiru throws something at the door that explodes and knocks the doors off of their hinges. "Quick, follow me!"

Ranma, Minako, and Haruka follow Michiru into a hallway.

Michiru stops and concentrates. She then points to a door. "This room is empty."

The door is unlocked, so they enter. The room looks like a training classroom and is mostly empty.

Michiru puts her bag down and pulls out a violin. "Haruka may not have made a plan, but I have. I scouted this building and saw that there is a point out in the hall where I can summon Yoma monsters."

"What?" Ranma-ko and Minako both yell in shock.

"They won't rampage outside of this building and they will all die if the violin breaks." Michiru puts the violin to her chin. "Haruka, the room above us is safe."

Haruka nods. As Michiru plays her violin Haruka stacks some tables on each other so she can reach the ceiling and attach one of Michiru's bombs. When Michiru stops playing, Haruka motions to Ranma and Minako. "Get down!"

An explosion blows a hole in the classroom's roof. Ranma gets up and opens the door of the classroom to take a peek. Ranma sees four large Yoma Monsters throwing guards around.

Michiru leaves the violin behind. "Let's go!"

The four scale the tables to reach the second floor.

Haruka cracks her knuckles. "They won't fall for the same trick twice. Time to face them head on."

Ranma and Minako nod. They burst out of the room they are in and start brawling with some guards who are roaming the hall. Ranma and Minako take out the guards, but many more come running. Haruka and Michiru join the fray and subdue the late comers.

"Ho, ho, ho, ho! Looks like we have some guests." A pretty boy with a large black pompadour enters the hallway from a set of stairs that lead off to the right.

Haruka smirks. "You're pretty talkative, unlike your zombie minions. Who might you be?"

"Since you are about to die, I will tell you. I am Hiroshi, the loyal servant of Bad Luck-sama. Your primitive attacks will have no effect on me while I can kill any one of you instantly." Hiroshi shots a bolt of energy at Ranma-ko.

Ranma-ko dodges the bolt of energy easily. "Strange, I am still alive."

"You impertinent dog! I will kill the others and then kill you with my bare hands. You will curse the day you were born. ..."

As Hiroshi rants endlessly on, Michiru nudges Haruka. Haruka sees a Yoma monster enter the hall from the stairs. The Yoma monster still has a severed arm from one of the zombies underneath one of its several arm pits.

Before the Yoma Monster can attack, Hiroshi turns around and shoots it with a bolt of energy. The Yoma monster explodes. "Ew! Unclean thing." Hiroshi starts wiping the remains of the Yoma off of his sparkly rock star like outfit.

While Hiroshi is distracted, Michiru pulls Minako and Haruka back into the room they had climbed into. When Minako looks at her funny, Michiru winks. "Now Ranma can fight with having to worry about us getting hit in the crossfire."

Ranma-ko shrugs at Hiroshi's unhappiness on getting monster residue on his pretty clothes. "Moon Prism Power, make up!" Ranma-ko transforms into Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon.

Hiroshi turns around in shock. "A magical girl? How could Bad Luck-sama's crystal ball not seen this?"

"Hey, I just found out I was a magical girl a couple of hours ago. But, besides that," Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon poses heroically, "Tokyo is a city with people who want to dream their dreams to the fullest, not a city that needs to be terrorized by a bunch of alien dummies. In the name of the moon, I, Sailor Moon, will punish you."

Hiroshi turns up his nose. "You talk too much!"

Ranma-ko, Minako, Michiru, and Haruka all face plant.

Ranma-ko points at Hiroshi. "What about you?"

"Who cares, die!" Hiroshi shoots another bolt of energy at Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon.

Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon easily dodges the energy bolt. "Moon Tiara Magic!" Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon throws her tiara at Hiroshi. The attack connects, but the attack only injures Hiroshi. The tiara flies back to Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon' hand.

"Nice attack, but now that your attack has failed, it is time for you to die!" Hiroshi shoots a larger energy bolt at Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon.

Seeing that one of Hiroshi's earlier attacks blew a hole in one of the walls in the hallway, Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon dives through the hole in the wall to evade the attack. The energy bolt blows a hole in the outside wall of the plant. Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon climbs back into the hallway and sees that the half moon shines through the hole in the outer wall. Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon smiles. "It's time for you to shut up. Moon Twilight Flash!" Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon holds the Tiara to catch the light from the moon.

The attack reaches Hiroshi, who howls in pain. Hiroshi starts fading away. "You will soon be joining me, Sailor Moon." Hiroshi disappears.

Haruka, Minako, and Michiru join Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon. Michiru points to the stairs. "Our enemy is on the fourth floor. It's only going to get harder from here. Let's go!"
