-Road to the Hakurei Shrine-
Tenshi and co were on the shrine road to the Hakurei Shrine. There was currently heavy fog, now.
But not before encountering yet more fairies who were bringing with them money.
They thought that Tenshi, Shion, and Sukuna were in the way to buy loot boxes.
"I want a lolis-bleugh," an elite fairy said but was immediately crushed by a keystone by Tenshi.
"Hey get out of my way I want that lootb-" A fairy said but then choked on her saliva with several other fairies falling into misfortune.
Tenshi, Sukuna, and Shion did the thing they were known for, which was shooting at them with the more elite fairies holding sunflowers showing up to shoot at them. Of course with Shion making it unfortunate with the fairies, there was a lot of friendly firing among them.
Tenshi of course defeated them all with ease while dodging with her two best friends. Killing them with danmaku though they'll just come back as always.
Throughout it all, the trio of incident solvers seemed to be healed up every time they hit a fairy, which caused them to heal up slightly.
"I can see the stairs up ahead," Shion said, despite the fog.
"Me too! Let's get her!" Sukuna shouted.
Before they could do anything, Joon showed up. With a Maneki-Neko by her side.
The Maneki-Neko looks like the object version of the Maneki-Neko, with the key difference being her calico coloration present in her hair, fur, and clothing. She wears a collar and wrist bracelets with brass-colored bells. In her left hand, she holds a koban coin. This is Mike Goutokuji, the Maneki-Neko who is known to sell ability cards even after the Market Incident ended.
"Joon?! I was looking for you! Where were you this whole time?" Shion shouted.
"Wait weren't you that Maneki-Neko that bothered Reimu with those ability cards?" Sukuna asked.
"That's me! By the way, do you want to buy some loot boxes?" Mike said with a Cheshire grin.
"No thanks," Sukuna said.
"Oh I was just hanging out at the shrine just minding my one business," Joon said.
"That sounds very sus," Sukuna said, ignoring Mike.
"We were on our way as well. We had something to discuss with Reimu," Tenshi said.
"Sorry but we can't allow you to do that," Joon said.
"Yeah! I am in a collaboration with my employer here to beckon customers for loot boxes! I won't let that happen!" Mike said.
"But why?" Shion said.
"It's obvious, she's working with Reimu," Tenshi said.
"But sister, why?" Shion asked starting to get angry.
"PROFITS OF COURSE!" Shion yelled out with a grin.
"How DARE you! I thought you were better than this!" Shion shouted as she was glaring at her younger sister. She was about to unleash her full power.
"Whoa there, calm down! Save it for the final battle!" Tenshi shouted.
"You're right Tenshi...let's deal with her and her helper first and then deal with the culprit…" Shion said.

Both Joon and Mike began to fire their own respective danmaku at Tenshi, Shion, and Sukuna who began to dodge the projectiles. During this time, it was beginning to snow now despite being in summer, meaning that getting hit enough makes those who get hit lose the strength needed to pull off special attacks, IE spell cards when they are hit.
In response, Tenshi summoned her keystones that fired lasers at Mike and Joon who dodged in response.
"Excess: Golds and Greens!" Joon shouted as she shot out golden bullets and big green emeralds at the incident solvers.
Tenshi, Shion, and Sukuna dodged the attacks, though Shion's bad luck kicked in and she was hit by a big green emerald which meant she could not use a special attack temporarily.
"That's no way to treat your sister! Sword of Fate!" Tenshi shouts as she throws her sword at Joon, which lands squarely in her face, staggering her and ending the Spell Card.
"Mallet: You Grow Bigger!" Sukuna shouted as she ended up throwing her miracle mallet at Mike who then made her big. However, this made her a bigger target for Sukuna who was firing silver knives that homed in on her and blue kunai-shaped billets at the Maneki-Neko. Who was hit by the attacks meaning she can't use her special moves for her strength wasn't enough.
Then it stopped snowing as a monsoon rolled in meaning everyone bounce off surfaces when they are hit.
In a stroke of bad luck, Mike was hit by a barrage of red danmaku from Tenshi as soon as she returned to her normal size causing her to crash into the floor and making her bounce and then hit again by Sukuna who was firing blue knives at the cat girl. Shion was able to dodge the attacks coming towards her.
"Weather: Scarlet Weather Stimulation!" Tenshi shouted as she shot temperaments at Shion which hit her, which caused the temperament to expand and turn the weather to be calm which meant now there would be healing spotlights whenever someone hits their opponent.
"Beckon Sign: Many Danmaku Guests!" Mike shouted out loud as she began to fire out multi-colored danmaku at Shion and Sukuna who had to dodge it. Shion was hit which caused Mike to get a spotlight where her wounds would then be healed up.
"Oh no, you don't!" Sukuna said as she then threw a fishing line from her Shining Needle Sword which hooked onto Mike and pulled her in which allowed the Inchling to do several strikes that made a spotlight come down and heal the small girl. This of course pushed back Mike away from the duo.
"Unfortunate Wave!" Shion expelled out a shockwave of misfortune that ended up hitting Mike close enough which ended up causing bad luck to happen when she started to cough up a furball during the battle.
"Inchling: One-Inch Samurai with a Half-Inch Soul!" Sukuna said as she shrunk to a small version of herself and flew to the currently distracted Mike and began to hit her several times with her Miracle Mallet, flinging her away.
"Bad Luck: Welcome to the World of Destitution!" Joon said as she began to fire Golden curse signs in three different directions. Tenshi of course dodged attacks and retaliated by sending forth keystones that began to fire lasers at the Pestilence God. This hit the god which allowed a spotlight to be on Tenshi, healing herself up. Though the celestial was able to graze through some of the projectiles shot by Joon while in the spotlight.
Then the weather ended and a new one arrived. This time, Diamond Dust despite the summer, makes the ground so cold people get frostbite when they try getting up.
"Beckon Sign: Shoot Away Disaster, Beckon in Fortune!" Mike said as she began to create a lot of multi-colored bullets while firing six Golden orbs at Shion and Sukuna. The former was hit and fell to the ground and immediately began to suffer damage from the frostbite.
"Don't worry I got you!" Sukuna said as she fished Shion off of the freezing floor. "Mallet: Lavish Banquet of Legend!"
Sukuna then began to spin while swinging her Miracle Mallet. Mike tried to dodge it but was hit by some of Shion's curse signs that caused her to be stunned which allowed Sukuna to hit her several times with her miracle mallet, causing her to fall to the ground and suffer frostbite. Sukuna then fired several white ball danamku which finally took Mike out of the fight.
Meanwhile, Tenshi and Joon were engaging each other in a close-quarters combat fight with the latter sending forth golden flames whenever she tried to punch the celestial. She then did an uppercut, which caused a small pillar of golden flame to launch Tenshi in the air. The Pestilence God then threw a purse at the blue-haired girl which caused her to go crash into the ground.
"Earthquake: Escarpment Evacuation Route!" Tenshi said as several keystones came down from the sky with one opening being present among the large amounts of keystones present. Joon managed to get there however she saw that whenever the keystones landed that they created some red bullets. Joon was hit by one of the projectiles, then one of the Keystones, and another with her falling on the freezing ground which caused frostbite to occur on her, causing damage.
However, the Diamond Dust weather went away with now a Scorching Sun occurring which instantly melted the freezing floor. This now meant that when people are high in the air, their moves get stronger, but they start to lose the energy needed to fight.
Joon immediately flew up into the sky.
"I will not let you all ruin this for me! This is going to make me money!" Joon said as she glared down at Tenshi, Shion, and Sukuna. "Greedy Delusions: Money Growing From Trees!"
Joon summoned what appeared to be normal trees without leaves but they then began to grow gold, jewels, and old Japanese coins down upon Tenshi, Shion, and Sukuna. They all had to dodge and some of them were hit by the attacks which were both faster and did some more damage on them.
"Mallet: Grow Bigger!" Sukuna shouted as she began to fire out several red and blue big orbs while also firing three blue hearts. All of these projectiles became bigger. Joon of course had to dodge the attacks but was hit some of the time by the attacks causing her spell card to come to an end.
"GOLD RAIN!" Joon said as she channeled a lot of power into summoning a lot of gold in the sky which began to fall into the ground.
Tenshi, Shion, and Sukuna began to dodge the large amounts of gold raining down on them. However, Tenshi summoned a keystone which began to soak of the damage but she knew that it was only a matter of time until it would be broken it then broke.
"NOW, Shion! Use that move you were working on last week! Do it now!" Tenshi yelled at Shion.
"HATE SIGN: DESPAIR SPARK!" Shion shouted out loud as she began to now channel her hate towards Joon who she realized was working with the one behind the incident and who likely stole her clothes scraps. Joon was hit by the attack, finally defeating her.
Joon crashed down to the ground hard from the attack.
BGM End.
"Owwwwww!" Joon said. She was bruised up from the attack.
"That's what you get for working on that scam!" Tenshi shouted.
"But we only go after those who can afford to waste money like that," Joon said.
Then Aya and Hatate showed up or rather they were there writing down the fight, including the words. They decided to show themselves now to reveal the truth.
"YOU are, Reimu isn't!" Aya shouted.
"Wait, what do you mean?" Joon asked.
"When Aya and I were at the Human Village we saw all sorts of people buying loot boxes among the poor, and even innocent people who were genuinely nice and honest," Hatate said. "They practically spent all their money until they were broke."
"She WHAT?! That LIAR! So THIS is why she was all "you go after them" and "don't worry about it, I know what I'm doing", she was HIDING that LIE!" Joon shouted as she was absolutely furious. "That's it! I'm DONE with this! You can find Reimu at the Shrine! Give her this for me. It's my resignation!"
"Me too!" Mike said as she was angry and was also present to see this. She was bruised up from the battle.
Joon and Mike hand them a pair of signed papers.
"Glad to see that my sister isn't all that bad in the end…" Shion said.
"She still scammed people you know," Sukuna said.
"They weren't gonna be troubled by that. Either that or they were jerks," Joon said.
"But Reimu scams CHILDREN!" Aya shouted.
"What?! Them too?! That's way too far!" Sukuna shouted in shock and anger. Shion was also angry and is almost going to unleash all her power.
"That's it! We're going to stop this NOW!" Tenshi shouted in anger.
"I need to see your battle against her. It's for the article," Aya said.
"So do I," Hatate said.
"Sure go ahead. And while you two are at it. Be sure to tell Gensokyo about how these scams were committed by that shrine maiden," Tenshi said.
"That's the idea! Let's go!" Aya shouted.
They went ahead towards the stairs.
"This is the last time I accept any business proposition of that wicked shrine maiden!" Joon said with an angry look on her face.
"I agree," Mike said. "But I do like working for you."
"Same. I now want to get some lamprey. Let's get out of here," Joon said.
"I would love that!" Mike shouted with a happy look.
They left.
A/n: Yep. No one is spared from Reimu's big scam. Which has all sorts of people from those who are innocent, poor and even children have their money taken from them! And yes Mike from Touhou 18 is yet another new character from that game, and I'm surprised to say this but Joon and Shion would have been perfect as incident solvers for Touhou 18 as it involved money! And we know what both Shion and Joon think of money!
