Chapter 46 Ultimatum
Its been 2 weeks since Korra gave birth to triplets who were all girls and since Ra had been defeated by Sean using the Spear of Triam from Zeus.
After that Tenzin and the other Airbenders left shortly after as more warriors from all over the world arrived to help Sean fight the Red Lotus should they come.
And of course Bolin was sad once more since Opal was gone.
Korra right now was breastfeeding Annabeth making Korra smile as she held her oldest close while Sean held a sleeping Katara in his arms as Calliope was asleep in her crib.
"Mmm. Mommy loves you so much honey." Korra said to her daughter as she pulled back before she yawned making Korra smile before she put her in her crib before Sean handed Katara to her and held her close as she slept.
"I'm still surprised you had triplets and all girls." Sean said as he held them close making Korra smile.
"Yeah...I think Katara knew before she passed but said nothing to keep it a surprise. A nice gift." Korra said as Katara yawned in her mother's arms making her smile softly before kissing her forehead before placing her in her crib next to her sisters. "I love you so much." Korra said kissing her husband making him smile as he kissed her back.
While the girls slept peacefully Sean was helping Korra get back into Shape incase Zaheer and the Red Lotus tried anything. She had lost all the fat from her pregnancy and her form was nearly back to what is once used to be.
Sean of course made sure she didn't push herself too hard since she still needed a month at least to fully recover.
"Ok thats enough for now." Sean said as she stopped.
"I'm starting to feel like my old self again." Korra said flexing her arm making him chuckle before kissing her as she held his face.
"What is it?" Sean asked.
"I'm just wondering when Zaheer is gonna come after you. He said he was gonna give you time. He never said how long though." Korra said looking into the room where her daughters were sleeping peacefully.
"Hey, Look at me." Sean said getting her to do so." I promise everything is gonna work out just fine. With all these new powers I got...What are the chances I'll actually lose?" Sean asked making her smile as she held him close.
"I know...I just want this to be over so we can go home." Korra said holding him close.
"We will. I promise." Sean said.
Thats when a Spartan approached them with a serious look
"My lord. Zaheer is on the radio. He wishes to speak to you."
This caused Sean to narrow his eyes dangerously.
Arriving at the radio tower Sean picked it up.
"What do you want Zaheer?" Sean asked.
"I hope you've enjoyed the time I've given you to spend with your daughters. But now time is up." Zaheer said.
"Two weeks? Thats all your giving them? Not exactly much. And how do you know I had triplets and daughters?" Sean asked.
"I have my ways of knowing. I know the longer I wait the more likely your friend the Norse God Baldur has of finding me. So time is up for you. You will give yourself up to me and the Red Lotus." Zaheer said making him scoff.
"You more insane than I realized. Why would I ever do that? You got nothing but empty threats." Sean said.
"I beg to differ. If you don't surrender yourself I will wipe out the new Air nation and that blood will be on your hands." Zaheer said making him glare.
"You would even fucking dare think that. That would go against everything you stand for. You would be exactly like Sozin when he started the hundred year war and the world would retaliate because of some of the new airbenders know world leaders." Sean said.
"Desperate times call for desperate measures. And I know you can't get there with the travel stone. It's damaged from the fight against the Demon Apophis and Ra." Zaheer said making Sean narrow his eyes.
"How did you know that?" Sean asked.
"How I know is hardly a concern. By the time you reach the temple it'll be too late." Zaheer said before everything went quiet making Sean snarl before smashing it.
"He could be bluffing." Tonraq said.
"Someone who takes out a queen and causes chaos is not someone who bluffs." Luke said.
"No...he isn't." Sean said.
"Sean...You can't just turn yourself in. We might actually make it before he can get there." Korra said.
"Your in no condition to do anything. You just give birth 2 weeks ago." Lin said.
"She's right Korra. You need at least a month before you can fight again." Suyin said knowing from experience.
"Load up all the troops into the airships. Julia you'll stay here incase they come after Korra. Knowing him he might just do it." Sean said.
"No problem." Julia said.
Theseus and Freya were getting all the troops into all the airships. Since there were so many from all over the world they were almost completely filled up
"Sean?" Korra said gaining his attention. "Promise me you'll be careful." Korra said making him smile before kissing her.
"I promise I'll be fine. I have you and three other reasons to come back safe and sound." Sean said placing his forehead against her's making her sigh as she held him.
"I love you." Korra said.
"I love you too. When this is over we can finally head home and relax. I promise." Sean said making her smile before he got on and the airships took off.
"I'm sure everything is gonna be just fine Korra." Senna said holding her close.
"I hope so." Korra said.
Meanwhile
Zaheer and the Red Lotus Had captured the Airbenders with next to no resistance whatsoever since they didn't know how to fight people like them.
"It's a pleasure to finally meet a true airbending master." Zaheer said to Tenzin.
"What is it you want from us?" Tenzin asked.
"Nothing at all. In fact, if everyone does what I say, you will all walk out of this situation unharmed." Zaheer said.
"Why is it I don't believe that even slightly? What are you planning now Zaheer? Why come after us now?" Turok asked holding Jinora.
"I want your brother, and I know going after him directly on his terms would be suicide since our last attack failed. So now he'll come to me on my terms." Zaheer said.
"You're using us as leverage?" Tenzin asked.
"Yes." Zaheer said as Tenzin stood up.
"I will never let you get to Sean. You would rob his daughters of a father before they even know him?" Tenzin asked angered by this.
"It's nothing personal. My original plan was for him to release his powers on his own accord. Sadly he has a defense system that prevents it from running wildly like I had hoped. So now I am forced to use a more brutal solution. Killing him so the powers of the gods he's absorbed will run freely." Zaheer said.
"I will not let you get to him so you may rob his daughters of their father or Korra of her husband shortly after she gave birth to them." Tenzin said.
"Unfortunately, you don't have a choice." Zaheer said.
"We all have a choice." Tenzin said before airbending them into the walls. "Jinora, Get everyone out of here! Bumi, Kya, Turok, Help me hold them off!" Tenzin yelled before avoiding an explosion from P'li who was on an airship above them with a glare. "And stay out of her line of sight. Go. GO!" Tenzin yelled getting her to lead them away.
Turok snarled before turning into a Tiger and tried to pounce on Zaheer but he dodged but groaned as his chest was cut from his claws.
"Story is you have an incredible connection to nature and the power of the animals. Lets see how powerful that connection is." Zaheer said spinning his staff around before Turok turned Hippo and charged right at him.
Jinora led the new air-benders to the bison but got pinned down by P'li.
"UGH! We'll never get to them as long as she has a line of sight on us. The second we step out she'll just blow us up." Jinora said as Kai frowned.
Turok roared at Zaheer as an Elephant before he dodged as he turned into an Air Bison and tried to smash him with his tail.
"I didn't think you could turn into animals from these lands." Zaheer said as Turok turned into a Grizzly bear and charged at him with his claws but he tried to airbend him but he stood his ground with his weight and roared at him before Zaheer tried to run off.
"GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE MOTHER FUCKER!" Turok yelled turning into a Kangaroo jumping up high before facing him again.
Zaheer tried to use airbending on him but he kept dodging before turning into a Tiger snake and tried to bite him but he kept dodging before blowing him back.
"I'm impressed. Your connection to nature and the power of the animals exceeds my expectations." Zaheer said.
"Like I need praise from the idiot who wants to destroy the world." Turok said glaring at him.
"Destroying it so a new and better world can take place. It would be beautiful." Zaheer said.
"Your out of your fucking mind. You have no idea what your actions would bring." Turok said before turning into a Golden Poison frog before trying to jump on him which he dodged knowing if he got touched it would kill him.
Kya and Bumi fought off against Ming-Hua and Ghazan and though Kya was a powerful bender she was having trouble with Ming-Hua.
Kya quickly used her water bending to throw Ming-Hua out making her scream as she flew off the temple down to her death making Kya sigh only to see the water mover and she appeared again with six water arms with a sick grin on her face.
"Oh fuck." Kya said.
Bumi was using his new airbending to dodge most of Ghazan's attacks before jumping on him and pulled his hair making him yell.
"GET OFF!" Ghazen roared throwing him down before he bit his leg making him growl as he kicked him away next to Kya.
"How does Kruger and the kids deal with this so much?" Bumi asked.
The other airbenders were still pinned down by P'li who refused to let them move.
"Thats it. I can't wait any longer." Kai said grabbing a staff.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Jinora asked.
"Whatever I can." Kai said before running off. "Get to the Bison! Get out of here!" Kai said before flying up to P'li to distract her.
As the others ran to the Bison Kai airbended P'li making her miss her shot.
"Why you little!" P'li yelled before she used her combustion bending and hit him making him fall
"KAI!" Jinora yelled as he went down before P'li scared off the Bison leaving them stranded.
Turok turned into a swarm of Killer bees that went after Zaheer but he blew them a way before he turned human again and glared at him before turning into a dragon similar to Dojo's appearance and roared at him. (If I recall Chris brought this up a while Ago)
"Ok that I was not expecting." Zaheer said as Turok breathed fire at him which he blocked with his airbending.
Thats when Turok took a blow to the head from P'li making him roar before looking at her before she hit him in the face again making him crash into a wall before turning human out cold.
"Nothing personal Turok. But you'll be thanking me when the new world begins." Zaheer said.
Tenzin himself was on his last legs as he was attacked from all sides.
"Give up. It's over." Zaheer said.
"As long as I'm breathing, it's not over." Tenzin said before trying to strike them again but they attacked him.
Meanwhile
Sean looked out the window narrowing his eyes.
"You okay?" Tonraq said placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just worried about my brother." Sean said.
"Relax kid. I'm sure he'll be fine." Baldur said.
"Once we get there we'll send in all the troops and take Zaheer down." Thesus said.
"No thats too risky. Zaheer will use the airbenders as hostages. We're trying to save them and take out Zaheer not lose the other. Especially since the Air nation is trying to rebuild after over a hundred years of near extinction." Tonraq said.
"Theres only one way to make sure the new airbenders are safe along with Tenzin's family. I have to surrender to him. If there was another option I would take it but there isn't." Sean said.
"No fucking way! There has got to be another way to stop him and get them out unharmed!" Reznov said.
"There isn't. I am not gonna risk losing the new air nation when it finally has a chance to come back. I could never look at my daughters again knowing so many died for my sake." Sean said leaving to head to the Radio room.
"Would you talk some fucking sense into him?" Reznov asked Tonraq.
"I don't think we have any other choice otherwise he would take it." Tonraq said making him sigh in annoyance.
Sean went to the Radio and grabbed it before sighing
"Zaheer? I already know your there." Sean said.
"I knew you would call back eventually. So do we have a deal?" Zaheer asked.
"Yeah. You release the airbenders and my brother, and then I'll turn myself over." Sean said.
"And take away the only leverage I have? No. Thats not how this is gonna work. Listen carefully. Here's what I want you to do." Zaheer said.
Bolin was pacing around like crazy.
"Will you please stop? I'm already tense enough as it is!" Mako said.
"I'm just worried about Opal. And Pabu's not here to comfort me." Bolin said before Sean came back out.
"Did you speak to Zaheer?" Tonraq asked.
"Yeah. He told me to come to the top of Laghima's peak at noon...Alone. Once he has me, he'll release the airbenders and my brother over to you at the temple." Sean said.
"I think I figured out a way to play this so the airbenders and Sean all come out in one piece without actually surrendering him." Suyin said.
"What is it?" Theseus asked.
"Zaheer doesn't know how many of us there are or that others from around the world are here to help. So we have the numbers advantage. I say we split into two teams. Mako, Bolin, Luke and Reznov will take one airship up to the temple. Meanwhile the rest of us will get into position below Laghima's peak." Suyin said.
"It could work." Sean said.
"It will. He might be able to handle any benders but the skills of everyone else here are unknown to him. That puts him at a disadvantage which we can use against him." Suyin said.
"Nice planning. Mom would be impressed." Lin said making her grin.
Soon they were under the mountain as Sean strapped a radio on him.
"Report in the second you see those Airbenders." Lin said to Luke.
"No problem." Luke said before walking to Sean. "Sean, I really don't like this. You know what will happen if he actually kills you." Luke said making him nod.
"Yes. But I know what its like to lose family more than anyone here. I will not let Tenzin lose his or the new Air nation when it finally has a chance to come back." Sean said making him nod.
"Good luck." Luke said as they took off.
"Tonraq. Little warning before you go up? Watch out for Zaheer. He's not exactly very fond of world leaders which is probably another reason why he had Ming-Hua kill Eska and Desna." Sean said making him smirk.
"Don't worry I can handle him. Just stay focused on your mission." Tonraq said before he and the others started to climb.
Sean sighed as he his metal wings came out before flying upwards.
Meanwhile
Korra laughed as she played with her youngest daughter who squealed in laughter as Korra airbended her in the air before she dropped into her hands.
"Mmm. Mommy loves you and you're sisters so much honey." Korra said making Katara giggle as Korra kissed her forehead before she yawned making Korra smile softly before she put her in her crib next to her sisters.
"Oh they are just beautiful Korra." Senna said making Korra smile before frowning. "Whats wrong?" Senna asked making her sigh.
"I'm just so scared beyond words. I know Sean can handle almost anything with all those powers and now having Ra's power and staff but...I just feel so helpless being here when I should be helping him." Korra said.
"Korra. I know you want to go out there and help him. But your in no condition to back out so soon after giving birth to them. You need a couple more weeks at best before that." Senna said.
"I know I just hate doing nothing. I just want to be out there helping him. And he's had over 2 months to plan something big and I don't know what that is. Only reason I knew about Apophis was because the past Avatars were trying to warn me." Korra said.
"Korra, I'm sure everything will work out perfectly fine. All we can do is have faith" Senna said holding her making her sigh.
"I hope so." Korra said hoping her husband would be ok.
Meanwhile
Luke's group arrived at the air temple seeing it in bad shape.
"Holy fuck." Reznov said.
"Must have been some fight." Luke said.
"You guys see them yet?" Sean asked on the Radio.
"Nothing yet. We're just arriving. Don't do anything stupid until we have confirmation." Reznov said.
Soon enough they landed before Ghazan approached them.
"This way." Ghazan said as Reznov took out his father's hammer since Sean gave it to him before they departed.
"Don't try any tricks you fuck." Reznov said as they followed him.
Meanwhile
Sean flew to the peak before seeing Zaheer and P'li making him glare before he landed further away from them.
"Drop your weapons and surrender yourself. Including your armor." Zaheer said.
"How fucking stupid do you think I am Zaheer?" Sean asked "I'm not doing anything until I have conformation since I don't trust you. Not even a little." Sean said making him frown.
At the Temple
Reznov and the others arrived in a room seeing Tenzin chained up and the other airbenders as well.
"They're here." Mako said.
"And my brother?" Sean asked.
"I don't see him." Reznov said.
At the Peak
Sean frowned before pulling out his Axe.
"Where is my brother? We had a fucking deal you a piece of shit" Sean said glaring at him
"One last bargaining chip. We'll hand him over once we have you." Zaheer said.
'Do not trust them.' Zeus said in his head making Sean frown.
"Luke...Check the airbenders." Sean said making Zaheer and P'li frown.
"What for?" Reznov asked.
"Just do it." Sean said.
"All right." Luke said heading to them only for them to be fakes seeing Ming-Hua grinning at them. "Shit! Nice call! Only Tenzin is here!" Luke yelled.
Sean roared before summoning the Spear of Triam.
"I KNEW YOU COULDN'T BE TRUSTED YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Sean roared.
"How did you know?" Zaheer asked before the skies lit up with lightning.
"GUESS!" Sean roared before trying to blast them which they dodged.
"ATTACK!" Theseus yelled as they came up from the mountain side.
"Your outnumbered Zaheer!" Sean yelled trying to slash him.
"Think again!" Zaheer yelled as multiple Red Lotus members appeared making Sean growl before Zaheer airbended something at him making him growl as a seal hit his forehead that blocked all his abilities before airbending him to them as P'li cuffed him.
"I'll hold them off. Get him out of here." P'li said using her combustion bending on the others.
Theseus roared as he slashed through several Red Lotus members who screamed in pain.
"FORM THE PHALANX!" Theseus ordered getting the Spartans to do just that as they marched forward before P'li tried to blast them but they're shield held up easily making her growl in rage.
Zaheer dragged Sean to the airship before Tonraq came up and blasted him away.
"Are you all right?" Tonraq asked.
"Get this fucking seal off me! Cut it off." Sean said making him do so making Sean growl before he healed before breaking out of his restraints before cutting the cables holding the airhship.
"Nowhere to run Zaheer!" Tonraq yelled as they charged at him.
Back at the temple
Reznov roared as he fought against Ghazan and Ming-Hua before blasting lightning at them but he used earth bending to block it.
"I knew this was a mistake from the very beginning!" Reznov yelled before throwing his hammer at them but they dodged quickly before it flew back to his hand.
"Where is Turok and the other Airbenders?" Luke asked cutting through the chains that held Tenzin.
"I don't know. Zaheer moved Turok and everyone out of the temple when they defeated us all." Tenzin said weakly.
Reznov blasting them with lightning but they dodged before Reznov smashed his hammer making some of the ceiling fall down around them.
"Will you just bury these freaks already?" Ming-Hua said to Ghazan.
"On it." Ghazan said lavabending the place.
"Oh fuck." Reznov said before jumping away from it.
"We have to get back to the airship." Luke said.
"No good! Those fuckers blocked the exit." Reznov yelled.
"Where's Oogi?" Mako asked.
"Gone. They scared off the bison. But I think I know another way out. Bolin, Get us through that wall." Tenzin said getting him to earth bend the wall behind them as they rushed through.
"Reznov close the tunnel!" Luke yelled
"On it." Reznov said smashing the walls on the way forward to prevent the Lava from following them.
Outside Ghazan and Ming-Hua were on the airship before flying away as the whole place was coming down with Lava.
"Those guys are toast." Ghazan said.
"Good." Ming-Hua said.
Entering the radio room they fond a door to the lower levels.
"GO!" Reznov yelled as they rushed through.
Back at the peak
Sean roared as he slashed several Red Lotus members with his axe before pulling out the Gauntlet of Zeus and smashed through a large number of them.
Baldur roared as he grabbed several Red Lotus before throwing them over the cliff making them scream as they fell to their deaths.
Freya slashed through a large number of them with ease.
"BROTHER LOOK OUT!" Mimir yelled making Sean block with the Golden Fleece before redirecting Zaheer's blast at him making him grunt as he almost fell over.
"I see the stories about all the weapons you carry are no exaggeration." Zaheer said impressed.
"Like I fucking need a compliment from the guy who wants to destroy everything for some flawed twisted dream." Sean said.
"Why can't you see for a new world to emerge the old one must die. And you are the only one who can make that happen. The only problem is your powers won't let it out freely without also releasing the gods who control those powers." Zaheer said.
"Did you ever even consider that your actions could have more negative consequences than you realize? Or are you just that selfish?" Sean asked.
"I'm not selfish. I'm doing this for a new and better world. With no leaders, No rules, Nothing that exists today that restricts us. The world will thank me for this." Zaheer said.
A group of Sparta rushed at the Red Lotus who screamed in pain as they were outclassed and outmatched.
Sean roared as he took out the Blade of Olympus before slashing through various Red Lotus members who tried to pin him down before his legs were caught followed by his arms.
"GET HIM!"
Sean roared creating a wave of power that freed him and turned members of the Red Lotus to stone.
Glaring at Zaheer Sean tried to blast him but he dodged several times.
"I'll give you one chance to head back into that cell you were in. You have no idea what you are doing!" Sean yelled.
"I will never go back!" Zaheer yelled as he tried to airbend him but Sean used both his wings to block him and blow back at him making him growl before Sean flew in the air with the Eye of Atlantis before trying to blast him which he dodged before Sean took out his Axe and threw it down making the ground icy and slippery making many Red Lotus members slip before getting killed by the enemy with ease.
"Nice work kid." Baldur said making him smirk before summoning the Spear of Triam and held it in the air making the skies light up with lightning.
"Let your enemies feel the power of Zeus." Zeus said as lightning rained down striking many members of the Red Lotus who screamed in pain and fear.
"BROTHER LOOK OUT!" Mimir yelled before Sean took a hit from P'li making him growl as he fell down and grunted holding his side as his armor cracked apart.
"Been a while since this has happened." Sean said before dodging Zaheer's attacks before Sean's body began to glow before taking on all the elements just like the last time they fought.
"You think you can defeat me Zaheer? GODS STOOD NO CHANCE AGAINST ME!" Sean roared. (Again Poseidon's larger water form but with every element added to it. Kinda wish I really saw it in the game. Would have been amazing)
"One way or another we will defeat you and unleash all that power inside. Do yourself a favor and surrender so a new world will be born." Zaheer said.
"You caused me and my family nothing but trouble for the last time Zaheer!" Sean yelled trying to blast him but he dodged. "I will leave nothing of you in my wake. DO YOU HEAR ME! NOTHING!" Sean roared before Tonraq attacked him once more.
However Zaheer quickly used airbending on him.
"Say hello to the Earth queen and Unalaq for me." Zaheer said sending him over the edge.
"TONRAQ!" Sean yelled before roaring into the air as he summoned the spear of Triam and lightning rained down once more. "You will suffer for that Zaheer!" Sean roared as more of the Red Lotus were blasted with his great power before Sean tried to smash Zaheer with his fists.
P'li kept the others pinned down with her combustion bending.
"This bitch is getting on my nerves!" Baldur yelled as they dodged another blast.
"Anyone got a suggestion? Cause I'm open to them." Lin said.
"I have one. Suyin, wrap your armor around her head just as she is about to attack. She'll blow her head right off." Freya said.
"You sure thats gonna work?" Baldur said.
"You got a better idea?" Freya asked.
"Honestly no. I'll get her attention." Baldur said rushing out from behind his cover.
P'li continued to blast them with her combustion bending before the skies began to light up making everyone look seeing Sean's body glow as the skies rained lightning on him before.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sean roared creating a great powerful blast that killed the enemy quickly and with ease while his allies were untouched.
"Holy shit." A Spartan said.
Sean panted in exhaustion before turning human again.
"Brother that was incredible." Mimir said.
"Yeah...I." Sean tried to say before yelling as P'li blasted him as she somehow survived.
"HEY BITCH!" Baldur yelled getting her attention. "Come and get me you worthless three eyes freak." Baldur said making her growl as she was about to blast him when Suyin wrapped her armor around her and...
BOOM!
Zaheer widened his eyes running to them.
"P'LI!" Zaheer yelled in horror seeing her headless body.
Sean panted as he glared at him.
"You really are nothing but a fool. You think Freedom is truly what people want? Not even close. People don't want Freedom. They want rules, boundaries. Protection. From invaders and from themselves. What you want is selfish. It's people like you who start wars for the most absurd reasons. People don't want chaos. Not all of them. Only people like you for the most idiotic of reasons." Sean said making him frown before pulling out some green vase from his clothes.
"I am truly sorry for what is about to happen." Zaheer said before dropping it as it shattered releasing a mist all over the place.
"Hmm?" Sean asked before illusions of Sean's worst memories started to appear.
"The mists of Hel...How did you get them!" Sean yelled before seeing himself being drowned by Unalaq.
"2 months is a long time to prepare and find the required pieces I needed. Wasn't easy but I found everything I needed." Zaheer said as Sean started groaning seeing Korra lose her bending.
"I told you I would destroy you." Amon said.
"All you bring is nothing but suffering!" Hiroshi yelled.
"People suffer because of you Kruger!" Thanatos yelled.
"All you bring is nothing but death to everyone you love." Unalaq said.
Sean groaned as he held his head.
"GET HIM OUT OF THERE!" Baldur yelled.
"How does it feel knowing you killed your own grandmother?" Loki mocked.
"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM SPARTAN!"
"AHHHHHHH!" Sean yelled before he fell to his knees before Zaheer placed another seal on him to prevent him from using his powers.
"You left me no choice." Zaheer said walking to the edge as the others rushed to him.
Put him down right now." Baldur said.
"Let go your earthly tether." Zaheer said.
"Drop him now." Theseus said.
"Enter the void." Zaheer said.
"This is your last warning." Freya said.
"Empty and become wind." Zaheer said before falling backwards.
"FUCK!" Baldur yelled rushing after him only to see Zaheer flying away.
"Did he just fly?" Lin asked in shock.
"This isn't good at all." Baldur said before hearing groaning as Tonraq with the help of a metal bender came back up before Lin helped them up.
"Wheres Sean?" Tonraq asked making them frown. "Oh no." Tonraq said.
Back at the temple
"Ah we can't outrun this shit!" Reznov yelled.
"Through here!" Bolin said using earthbending to make a passage way to escape the lave but came to a cliff.
"Now what?" Luke asked as more Lava came at them before Bolin closed his eyes before yelling as he actually started lavabending making it stop shocking them all.
"Oh by the lake of the nine." Reznov said.
"So your not a metal bender but a lava bender. Nice skill." Luke said before.
"Need a lift?"
Everyone turned and saw Kai on a young Bison he had befriended months before Korra gave birth.
"Kai? Your all right." Tenzin said relieved.
"More or less. Hop on." Kai said as they got on and flew to the others.
Tonraq was getting treated by the woman who saved him.
"I owe you my life. Thank you Captain." Tonraq said.
"You can call me Kuvira." Kuvira said as he went into the radio room and sighed before turning it on. (Oh boy)
"Julia are you and the others there?" Tonraq asked.
"Yeah we're here. I assume you guys took him down?" Julia asked.
"Wheres Sean and the others?" Korra asked making him sigh.
"I'm sorry Korra but Zaheer captured Sean and still has the airbenders." Tonraq said.
Korra widened her eyes as her breathing started to increase and fell into a chair holding her chest.
"Calm down honey. It's gonna be ok we can still find him." Senna said calming her down.
"I don't know what Zaheer did. Unleashed some kind of mist that brought back his worst memories like a flood" Tonraq said.
"Wait mist?" Korra asked.
"You know what it was" Tonraq asked.
"Yeah I've seen it before when we first went to Midgard. It's the mist of Hel. I saw Baldur reliving an old memory of when he confronted his mother about his curse. How did he get it though?" Korra asked.
"2 months is a long time. We were prepared to deal with Zaheer and P'li but more Red Lotus members showed up. They caught us by surprise." Tonraq said as Korra left.
"Wherever Zaheer took him is probably where he plans to kill him." Julia said.
Back at the Metal Clan
Korra was heading for an airship to leave and find her husband.
"And just where do you think you're going?" Julia asked with Senna and Asami next to her.
"Where do you think. I'm going to find him and bring him back." Korra said.
"Korra you can't. You're still not fully recovered" Senna said holding her.
"I don't care. I can't lose him. I almost did once because of Unalaq. Mom I can't even think of going through that again. I can't risk Annabeth, Calliope and Katara growing up without their father. I can't." Korra sobbed as her mother held her close.
"Ok...we'll go but we have to take the girls with us. I don't want to risk Zaheer trying something to get to you as well." Julia said making her nod not about to leave her daughters behind.
"I know this is risky but I can't just sit here." Korra said.
Meanwhile
Sean slowly woke up with a groan as he looked around seeing he was in some cave before seeing his arms and legs chained up making him growl as he tried to pull them but his power wasn't working.
"That won't work." Zaheer said making Sean face him with a growl.
"That was a fucking cheep move and you know it." Sean said.
"Perhaps. But if you had surrendered peacefully..." Zaheer tried to say.
"DON'T TALK TO ME LIKE YOU KEEP YOUR WORD! The deal was I surrender myself to you in exchange for the Airbenders and you lied!" Sean yelled.
"Fair enough. I see no use in defending myself. Now its time to what I promised would happen since clearly like you said. You can't set those powers freely. So I will make them come out without the gods controlling that power." Zaheer said.
"Zaheer you have no idea what you're doing! If you unleash all that power inside him it'll destroy the world in days." Mimir said in alarm.
"Exactly the point. In order for a new world to be born the old must die. And that means you must die. I find it unfortunate that this must happen but since you can't let it out freely without the god of that power coming back and controlling it...This is the only option." Zaheer said.
"You have no idea what you are doing." Sean said.
"Oh yes I do." Zaheer said before some container of silver liquid was seen. "This is known as the Mercury. It's a deadly poison that will kill you." Zaheer said before Ghazan moved it towards him.
"Zaheer! You don't know what you are doing!" Mimir yelled.
"Yes I do." Zaheer said as Sean groaned as the poison entered his body. "Soon a new world will be born. You should feel proud. You will be responsible for a new age. An age of Chaos." Zaheer said making Sean roar.
"I will kill you for this...Be certain of that." Sean said.
Meanwhile
Kai had led them to where the Red Lotus was keeping the others before rushing in to stop them.
Reznov roared as he blasted most of the remaining members with lightning before seeing Turok
"About fucking time!" Turok said as he was chained up before Luke set him free.
"We need to find Kruger. Zaheer has him for something." Reznov said freeing the others.
Sean continued groan.
"This is taking too long." Ming-Hua said before Sean's eyes glowed green showing he had gained control of his powers.
"Now! Kill him while you have the chance!" Zaheer yelled before Lightning struck Sean making him roar
"ZAHEER!" Sean roared before freeing himself as his body began to change as he took on his ultimate form and roared at Zaheer before escaping the mountain.
"The Poison still needs time to kill him. I'll keep him busy." Zaheer said flying after him.
"Great that just leaves." Ghazan tried to say before the others rushed in.
"Where is he?" Tonraq asked before Ming-Hua attacked them.
Sean roared as he fought against Zaheer.
"You cannot fight against both me and the poison Kruger. It's only a matter of time." Zaheer said before Sean roared loudly at him before trying to smack him away.
Luke and Reznov fought against Ming-Hua who laughed as she had a large supply of water to use against them.
"Kratos got lucky 15 years ago fighting me. You two are nothing but ants!" Ming-Hua yelled laughing.
"This bitch is a complete nutcase. No wonder she's part of the group." Luke said.
"Want me to end this now?" Reznov asked.
"Yes. We don't have time to waste." Luke said.
"My pleasure." Reznov said before blasting the water with lightning making Ming-Hua scream in agonizing pain before she actually exploded from the intense power.
"Ouch. Thats gotta hurt." Luke said before they saw Ghazan fighting against the others.
"It's over. Where is he?" Tonraq asked before they heard Sean roar loudly from outside.
"You won't stop him. It's already too late. The Posion is in his system." Ghazan said before the ceiling caved in and he screamed as he was crushed by Sean's stone foot.
"This isn't good." Suyin said.
Sean roared as he fought against Zaheer who used airbending to force him back before surrounding himself with air before dashing at Sean with powerful speeds and hit him in the center forcing both of them out as they crashed down as Sean groaned before glaring at Zaheer.
Thats when lightning began to ran down.
"Feel the power...Of my grandfather!" Sean yelled as he caught a lightning bolt before throwing it at Zaheer making him grunt in pain as he was forced back just as the others arrived before Sean collapsed just as the Airship Korra and the others took arrived.
"Sean." Tonraq said seeing his eyes still glowing but began to flicker. "Oh no." Tonraq said.
"DAD!" Korra yelled rushing to him before landing next to Sean. "Sean please." Korra said as he reached for her but his arm began to fall making her start crying seeing he was dying.
Zaheer not restrained by the Earth from Lin and Suyin started laughing.
"What are you laughing about?" Lin asked.
"Your too late! The Poison has been in his system for too long! The Red Lotus has won!" Zaheer yelled in victory.
"You can still save him. I overheard the others saying the poison was metal." Jinora said making Suyin quickly rush to him.
"Give me a second here." Suyin said as she began to focus on the metal inside him for a minute making everyone tense up.
Thats when Sean groaned as Suyin forced all of it out of his system before coughing what remained out before his eyes stopped glowing before looking at Korra.
"Korra?" Sean asked making her smile as she held him close.
"It's ok. You're Safe." Korra said.
Tonraq stood up and sighed in relief while holding Senna close.
"It's over." Tonraq said making her nod.
However thats when Zaheer started chuckling which caught their attention.
"What are you laughing about now? The Poison is out of his system." Tonraq said.
"Oh you really shouldn't have done that. The poison would have been a less painful death in my view." Zaheer said chuckling.
"What are you talking about? W?hat have you done?" Lin asked.
Thats when Sean screamed in pain as everyone heard what sounded like bones being crushed inside him.
"Whats wrong?" Korra asked before they saw something moving in his chest.
"OH SHIT!" Reznov yelled pulling out his knife before he started to cut him open.
"Its a special parasite thats objective is to crush the hear of whoever its inside of! I snuck it in with the Mercury!" Zaheer yelled as Sean screamed loudly in pain.
"HURRY UP!" Korra screamed.
"I'm moving as fast as I fucking can!" Reznov yelled as he cut a hole open in him as the parasite wrapped around his heart before it crushed it making Sean spew out large amount of blood from his mouth covering Korra and the others who were close making Korra gasp in shock as Sean's eyes glowed again and started flickering.
Only to die down leaving nothing but blackness in his eyes.
"No. No, no, no, no, no!" Korra sobbed as she held him close.
Thats when the sun started to vanish slowly making everyone look up seeing it was gone before the ground began to crumble apart before everything around them began to die off.
"AT LAST! THE POWERS OF THE GODS ARE FINALLY FREE! A NEW WORLD AWAITS!" Zaheer yelled as everywhere all over the world the powers of the gods were set loose. Causing nothing but Chaos.
