Chapter 47 I am that I am

Korra sobbed as she held Sean's body as the world around them began to crumble apart from the powers that he once held were free and caused nothing but Chaos.

"This is a fucking nightmare." Reznov said before throwing a crystal in the air seeing the devastation that was occurring all over the world and the massive tidal waves that were approaching the lands including the Southern Water Tribe.

"See what you've done Zaheer!" Tenzin yelled.

"YES! AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL!" Zaheer yelled making everyone glare at him before Asami came out with Calliope who was coughing.

"Korra something's wrong." Asami said making her rush to her daughter who looked sick.

"Oh sweetie." Korra sobbed holding her close as she coughed.

"Is this what you want! Children to die from diseases!" Asami yelled.

"Like I said in order for a new and better world to take place the old one must die. It's the natural order!" Zaheer yelled seeing the Tidal wave getting closer to the Land.

"No." Senna said as Tonraq held her close seeing their home about to be destroyed.

Only for everything to suddenly stop everywhere.

It was if Time itself stopped.

"Huh?" Zaheer asked.

"The hell just happened?" Luke asked.

The skies began to light up before a white flame traveled from the sky down to the land towards where they were before a burning bush appeared.

Thats when those who were injured from their battles against the Red Lotus began to heal.

"Tonraq." Senna said holding his face that was fully healed.

Calliope suddenly stopped coughing and looked healthy again making Korra sigh in relief before holding her close before she walked to the bush before she placed her hand inside the flame.

Only it did not burn much to her surprise.

"What is this?" Korra asked as she walked back to her husband.

"Take the shoes from your feet. The land of which you stand on is holy ground."

Everyone looked around for the voice but couldn't find anyone before Korra looked back to the bush.

"Who are you?" Korra asked.

"I am...That I am."

"I don't understand." Korra said.

"I am the god of all that lives and breathes upon the Earth...The First god." God said shocking all of them before they began to remove their shoes.

"What do you want?" Korra asked holding her daughter close.

"I have seen and heard the suffering of the people of the world. And have heard their cries." God said as images of the suffering from the last 10,000 years appeared. "And so 10,000 years ago I gave the solution to restoring the peace and hope of the world...And gave it...To him." God said making Korra widen her eyes as did everyone.

"You? Your the one who gave Sean the power to absorb gods. Are you the one who healed him last year?" Korra asked.

"Yes. Many of you have come to the belief that another god is responsible for the corruption of my fellow gods. In a way...Your not wrong. But it is not a God that is responsible for the suffering of the world...It was the Devil himself." God said before the image of a red skinned monster with four Red eyes and antlers on his head was seen roaring. (Picture Trigon from Teen Titans)

This shocked everyone to the core but Zaheer.

"He is the one responsible for the suffering of the world. With all the suffering of mankind...He grows ever stronger. But with the hope Kruger brought his powers stopped increasing." God said.

"So why are you here?" Tonraq asked.

"To once more change an outcome that never should have occurred. Zaheer's actions were selfish and self centered. So I have come to correct this once more. By reviving him. Doing so will stop all of this as the gods still live within him and their powers will return to him." God said making Zaheer widen his eyes.

"NO! NO! You don't understand old man! The Revolution has begun! Your time is over! Chaos is the natural order of..." Zaheer tried to say before powerful gust of air shut him up.

"WHO MADE MANS MOUTH! WHO MADE THE DEAF, THE MUTE, THE SEEING OR THE BLIND! DID NOT I! THEN BE SILENT ZAHEER!" God roared shutting him up as everyone tensed up from that outburst while Korra held her husband close as her daughter cried as she held her close trying to calm her down. "Avatar Korra...I Shall bring the one you love back from Death itself. For a time he shall be vulnerable...But he will become stronger from this. So once more I shall stretch out my hand. And he will smite the Devil with all my WONDERS." God said as the white flames touched Sean before his body began to heal at an incredible rate before Sean gasped for air as he started breathing again making Korra hold him close as she cried that he was alive before the sun came back as the powers of the gods were once more under his control.

"NO! NO!" Zaheer roared as he tried to get free before Korra handed Calliope to her mother before she approached him with a glare. "This isn't over! Even if it takes another 15 years I'll kill him again! Just you wait! And I'll kill your daughters to release whatever powers they have!" Zaheer yelled seeing the enraged look on her face.

"Uh Oh." Mimir said knowing that was a huge mistake.

"Oh fuck." Reznov said.

"That was not a good move." Luke said.

"I don't think so." Korra said before her eyes glowed as she grabbed his head as he groaned loudly before it stopped before she let him loose which shocked the others before he tried to airbend her but nothing happened much to his shock.

"What...What did you do me?" Zaheer asked in shock.

"I took away your airbending and your connection to the spirit world. You can't use them to harm anyone ever again and to make sure of it." Korra said before encasing him in Earth before crushing him hard making him roar in pain as multiple bones were destroyed before Korra dropped him as he couldn't move anything from the neck down. "Now you can never harm anyone period." Korra said as she walked back to her husband who's breathing returned to normal as she held him close.

"Lets go home." Senna said holding her granddaughter who snored lightly before the bush turned lush green as the flames were finally gone.

2 weeks later

Sean groaned as Korra helped him into a wheel chair.

"Well...This sucks." Sean said.

"I know. How are you feeling?" Korra asked holding his hand.

"I'll live. I just need time." Sean said.

"I know its been a couple hard weeks since what Zaheer did to you. But I'm here for you." Korra said kissing him making him smile lightly.

"Thanks. Ok lets get this shit over with." Sean said as she pushed him outside to where the others were and unfortunately so was Raiko.

"You look like hell bro." Turok said.

"Heh. You try having your heart crushed. But then again you probably don't have one." Sean joked.

"Ooh." Turok said chuckling. "That actually hurt." Turok getting some laughs from the others.

"I'd like to officially welcome you back to Republic city. I know that our last encounter wasn't..." Raiko tried to say.

"Shut up." Korra said shocking him. "Take your worthless lies and..." Korra tried to say.

"Thats enough. All he's trying to do is get that mark off his head." Sean said making him frown before groaning as he held it.

Thats when Meelo jumped in Sean's lap making him smile lightly.

"Lets go inside it smells like shoe tree." Meelo said.

"Sandle wood." Ikki said as they arrived at the stairs.

"Well fuck." Sean said annoyed.

"I got this." Lin said using Earthbending to get them up.

"He's not looking good at all." Luke said.

"Give him time. Zaheer's actions left him vulnerable. It'll take time for him to fully recover." Tenzin said.

"I'm afraid the damage is far worse than you might think." Mimir said on Freya's side.

"What do you mean?" Tonraq asked.

"Even though he's alive once more and the powers of the gods are under control...His connection to the gods has been completely severed." Mimir said.

"Wait wouldn't that mean..." Senna tried to say.

"No they're still inside him. The problem is he can no longer use their abilities or call upon them for guidance. He still has their weapons sure but without a direct connection to the ones who owned them his skills with them diminish." Mimir said.

"Is there any way to repair the connection?" Tonraq asked.

"I don't know. God himself said he would be vulnerable for a time. Perhaps he knew this was a likely result." Mimir said before the White Lotus arrived

"What are you doing here?" Reznov asked glaring at them.

"We're here to help Kruger recover from his experience and get him back into shape immediately." The Leader said about to find him when Senna stopped him.

"You are not going anywhere near him." Senna said glaring at them which shocked them.

"What is this about?" The Leader asked confused.

"Where were you and the White Lotus when all this began? Nowhere." Tonraq said.

"It was a delicate situation and we..." The Leader tried to say before Athena appeared looking enraged.

"There was nothing delicate about it! You let my son die at Zaheer's hands as you all debated for over 2 months. While the rest of the world sent their greatest warriors to help him. They helped and you did nothing." Athena said.

"Lady Athena please. I am truly sorry for what your son went through but we are here to help him get back into fighting condition by the end of the month at best." The Leader said making her more angry that they thought they could do the impossible.

"Such arrogance! My son is in the most vulnerable position he has ever been in. And you dare to think you can help him so easily! No. As of this very moment the White Lotus is disbanded...Forever!" Athena yelled shocking them.

"You cannot do that!" The Leader yelled before she blasted him into stone.

"Do any of you wish to object?" Athena asked making the rest run off in fear of the wrath of the Goddess of Wisdom.

"And what about the Earth Kingdom? Without the queen there is still chaos." Raiko said.

"You were no asked to speak." Reznov said making him glare.

"Chiron has decided for me to lead those from Avalar to keep order along with the new Airbenders and other warriors from the world." Luke said.

"What about Korra?" Turok asked.

"She's decided to stay with Sean and her daughters. She's more focused on getting him back to his old self. They deserve that much." Julia said.

Soon enough a celebration for their victory though nearly costly was being held on Air temple island. And also congratulating Jinora by becoming an Airbending Master with her head shaved for her airbending Tattoos which Turok complemented looked good on her.

"So you two are moving back to the South?" Tenzin asked Korra.

"Yeah. We're moving back in with my parents while Sean recovers. Can you keep an eye on our home here?" Korra asked.

"Of course. We'll check up on you two every now and then." Tenzin said.

"Thanks." Korra said.

Sean was talking with his brother before Raiko approached him.

"We need to talk." Raiko said.

"Go the fuck away." Sean said not in the mood for any of his usual nonsense.

"No...You and I are gonna talk right now. I want this mark off my head. And I want it off now." Raiko said.

"Piss off." Sean said before Raiko smacked a glass out of his hand making it shatter which caught everyones attention.

"You are not gonna ignore me on this! I want this mark gone!" Raiko yelled .

"Raiko leave him alone. He's been through enough as it is." Tenzin said.

"I can't and I won't." Sean said.

"What do you mean you can't?" Raiko asked glaring at him.

"I don't even know how that to cast that mark. Only my mother does. The only way you're getting it off is if you change for the better. But we both know thats not gonna happen since you're selfish. Your own actions are what destroyed your image and got your wife killed by Medusa's head for your desire for fame and glory. Something I'm not interested in." Sean said making him growl as he held his head in pain. "You have only yourself..." Sean tried to say before Raiko pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the chest making Sean groan in pain while everyone was shocked by this as Raiko punched him down hard.

Dojo appeared and roared at Raiko forcing him back.

"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR DAMN MIND!" Dojo roared as Korra and Senna rushed to Sean who coughed up blood.

"You should have stayed dead freak! You have caused me nothing but trouble since you arrived. You and your whore. I only wish Zaheer killed those three abominations you two created before he was imprisoned!" Raiko roared making Sean growl as he took out his Axe only for his hand that held it to start shaking badly.

"Sean?" Korra asked as he dropped it before he held his shaking hand.

"Wha?" Sean asked in a trembling voice making Raiko laugh.

"Look at you. You've lost the will to fight. How pathetic. Chief Beifong I am ordering you to arrest him and prepare him to be executed tonight." Raiko said shocking everyone.

"Are you out of your mind! You kill him and it starts up all over again!" Lin yelled.

"I'm ok with that. I'd rather live in a dead world than one where he is alive any longer. Now arrest him." Raiko said expecting it.

"You lay a finger on him and you'll be at war with the rest of the world." Leonidas said with everyone backing him making Raiko growl before he held his head in pain as the mark started glowing.

"You are all nothing but fools!" Raiko yelled.

"Are they now?" Zeus said appearing shocking them all as he walked to his grandson who groaned holding his chest before Zeus healed him. "The only fool here is you. You don't hate him for what he is. You hate him because he makes you feel small and insignificant Which you are. All here but you have more value to their lives since they accept their roles and their worth. Where you do not." Zeus said making him growl. "If you attack my grandson again you will suffer greatly." Zeus said.

"You are nothing but a relic. I will do as I see fit." Raiko said before lightning began to ran down Republic City.

"I warned you." Zeus said as lightning began to ran down in places that held importance to Raiko such as his home and office along with several businesses and business partners who were still loyal to him for money.

Raiko looked on in shock seeing everything he had was being destroyed.

"Everything you have ever known Raiko will now suffer because of your selfishness." Zeus said vanishing.

Korra pushed Sean outside after that to get away from Raiko.

"Are you ok?" Korra asked making him sigh.

"No...This fight cost me too much. My connection to the other gods...My powers...And now my will to fight is completely destroyed. I'm useless now." Sean said before she held his hands.

"You are not useless. Look at me." Korra said getting him to do so. "You just need to recover. Maybe this is a gift in some way. That you don't have to fight for a while to spend time with the girls and me. I consider that a gift. And I'm gonna help you every step of the way. I promise." Korra said before he started crying as he held his face before she held him. "I love you Sean. I always will." Korra said as he sobbed.

Even those with the greatest of gifts could prove to be the most vulnerable.

Authors Note: And Sean is alive but in a difficult position since Zaheer's actions costed him more than people realize. God was the one who gave Sean his gift to absorb gods to stop their powers from running wildly. And Zaheer lost everything he values. His airbending and connection to the spirit world and that to him is a fate worse than Death along with him being paralyzed from the neck down. Now I know some people are asking why did I do this a third time. Unfortunately in this series its something of a requirement to have him go through a horrible experience depending on the story itself since it helps build up for season 4. I hate it but I'm ok with doing whatever I need to if it makes the story work. Anyway Next Chapter starts off season 4. Sora yes you did good in not complaining but your not getting rewarded since I shouldn't have to do that for a simple request.
