AN: The following is the prompt from the super awesome Jenjoremy. Yes, it kind of grew out of control, but she was very gracious about it.
Stay well and be safe!

I saw a headline for a news story and my first thought was, "This would be a great fanfic story!!"
The headline reads as follows: "Father hikes 10 miles for help after son has mini-stroke in wilderness." The father gave the following quote: "When I set to leave him there, I did spend a few minutes thinking, 'Is it better for me to stay with him, or is it better for me to go? I'm leaving him without anybody here.' That was a really frightening decision."
What if DEAN was faced with that decision because Sam was badly injured? Either a bad fall or a monster injury. They are miles from civilization with no cell phone service. Does he hike to get help for Sam, leaving him alone for potentially several hours? It's either too far to carry him or Sam is in too much pain for Den to move him that far.
Late teenchester or early season would work best.
