AN: I've never written a story like this one before, this is completely new territory for me, very experimental. I like how it came out, but bear in mind that this particular type of story has me as quite a novice. Do bear that in mind alone the way. :) Thank you for reading.

So I hope you've enjoyed this story, thank you to my patron for sponsoring this project, I had fun with it.

To my readers who have enjoyed this... well first off the pdf is available on my pat re on which is /tellingstories, or for free on my discord server, invite code is on my author page.

To the readers who were like... 'wait, what's up with this?' or who otherwise disagree with my characterization of Entoma... look I'm not going to try to persuade you, but hey, why not answer?

Entoma is an underused but interesting character, she has the full range of human emotions, she does eat people but she's not overtly malicious, she even is willing to ignore somebody who isn't a direct threat, and given that she can easily kill most people, that says a great deal about her. She tells Gagaran that they should pretend they never saw each other. She's not just 'angry' in my view when they basically call her ugly and say nobody would want her to serve them, that reaction is emotional hurt. Moreover, she's been created to wear a mask, to look and act human, we never get a look at her full appearance, so I had to speculate, and to help write her I did a little research into rare species of social spiders to see how they get along, figuring I could draw some ideas on their dynamics.

The end picture I got for Entoma between the books and wiki and everything all together, was basically a young, isolated, fairy innocent teenage girl. And as I was writing her 'later' in her life, into the events of GRAU and so now an 'adult' I wanted to write her in such a way that she was seeking more of those innate wants that I think she was created with, and this of course is the end result. You may of course, disagree with my interpretation. Mine may or may not be considered 'correct'. But in the end it is just that, an 'interpretation' and one I hope you enjoyed along the way. Do you have your own interpretation of her? By all means, write it, that's the fun of fanfiction, exploring old characters in new ways, who might they be, who will they be, what shapes them as they grow in the passing of years from the times we canonically see them. That's the journey I'll take you on as my work in this AU continues to expand to its inevitable conclusion in the Last Days of the new world.

Thanks for reading, thank you for supporting me along the way, and may the rest of the year treat you well. Now its back on to writing more of Volume III of 'The One Who Stayed'
