Here's some introduction to my new OCs as well as reintroducing old characters from the first book. As well as some from the Lion Guard which I don't own.
Now here's to chapter nine, enjoy!
Simba and Selam traveled through the blistering heat. The heat and lack of water cause the princes to fall but before they closed their eyes they seen two pairs of brown eyes.
...
When the exiled princes woke they saw a warthog and a meerkat looking at them.
"They're awake. Buddy, go tell Cassiel and Vanya." said the tan meerkat.
The red warthog nodded before leaving the three. Then the meerkat looked at the confused cubs.
Selam took a deep breath before asking. "Where are we?"
"Well kid. You are at the Oasis Pride but some call it the Tree Of Life. I'm Timon and the pig is my old pal Pumbaa."
Simba nodded. "I'm Simba and this is my twin, Selam."
Timon made way to say something but Pumbaa came back with a lion and lioness.
The lion was large with a brownish-beige coat with a black mane. The lioness was dark beige.
"I see our guests are awake." said the brownish-beige lion his purple eyes on the cubs. Before his eyes widened. "You two look familiar,"
"What are your names? And what are you doing out here all alone?" the dark beige lioness asked her light brown eyes full of concern.
Simba and Selam looked at each other before the golden cub looked at the lion and lioness. "I'm Simba and this is my twin brother, Selam."
"We had to run since our father was killed and his killer was going to kill us as well." said Selam with a sob.
The lion raised a black eyebrow. "Who's your father?"
Simba sobbed as tears fell. "Our father was King Mufasa of the Pridelands."
The lion gasped as the lioness' eyes widen. "Oh you poor things!" then she turned to the lion. "Cassiel, we got to take them in. At least into they're old enough to go back."
Cassiel turned back to the cubs of his cubhood friends. Hurt and pain was in his eyes as well as his voice. "Of course you two may stay. But introduction is in order. I'm Cassiel and this is my mate Vanya. We welcome you two to the Oasis Pride."
...
Simba and Selam was complete amazed by the sight of the Oasis.
All the water and prey that roamed the area. As the group was approaching a cave a eight month old dark brown cub came running over with a light brown with cub a dark brown mane tuff on his head following her.
"Daddy! Mommy! I pinned Sãhasí!" said the dark brown cub with her purple eyes full of excitement.
The light brown cub rolled his orange eyes. "That's only because I let her."
Cassiel chuckled before giving his daughter a nuzzle before looking at the runaway cubs. " Simba, Selam this is my daughter Sherise and one of her friends, Sãhasí."
Sherise smiled at the new cubs. "Hi. We were about to meet our friends. Wanna come?"
The brothers nodded before running off after Sherise and Sãhasí.
...X...
One month later things were going really well for King Scar and his queen.
Queen Sarafina had just given birth to their third child and to Scar's delight this child was a male.
The new king and queen named him Mheetu.
Mheetu looked almost exactly like his maternal grandfather. Dark cream coat and but had his father's green eyes.
Royal Mjuzi, Rafiki came as usual for the presentation ceremony although it was the last place the mandrill wanted to be.
But rather he liked it or not Scar was the king and his son, being a male was the heir to the throne.
So the aging mandrill walked to the edge of Priderock and held the newborn high for all the animals to see. After returning the cub to his mother Rafiki took his leave.
...
After Sarafina had put Mheetu down for the night, Scar took his mate aside.
"Sarafina now that our son has been born there is something that must be done," Scar whispered.
"And what's that my king?" Sarafina asked keeping her voice low.
"Why getting rid of the compition of course," Scar replied. Sarafina gave her mate a confused look so he continued, "We must get rid of the other male cubs in the pride. They could be a threat to our son."
"You mean kill them?" Sarafina asked her light green eyes wide.
"There's no other way my dear," Scar replied. "And I'm afraid that includes Malka and Tau. We must get rid of them before they have a chance to grow stronger."
"Tau?" Sarafina gasped shocked. "But Scar I thought Tau was going to be a mate for one of the girls when they are grown?"
"They won't be needing a mate now," Scar replied. "Exspecaily Zira, she's not the heir anymore so what importance does she need for a mate? When Zira and Nala are of age they'll find a nice rouge to father any cubs they may want to have."
"But Scar," Sarafina protested. "Kavela will fight to the death for her son and besides that she's our friend and ally. We can't..." Sarafina was cut off by Scar.
"No more arguing Sarafina. I'm the king and what I say goes. Tomorrow we shall gather the cubs and their mothers and the deed shall be done. Now go fetch our daughters so we can put them to bed."
"Yes Scar," Sarafina said lowering her head in defeat.
As she was walking away the creamy lioness was unaware that Nala had been hiding around the corner and had heard every word her father had just said and had ran off to warn her friends.
