Taiga frowned as she silently ate dinner alone while watching TV. Looking up at the calendar, she saw the date was circled with the words 'Ryuuji Business Trip' written on it. Taking a deep breath, the petite brunette stood up and began cleaning up from the small meal before turning off the TV and walking into hers and Ryuuji's room and going to bed.
Walking out of her workplace, Taiga looked out to see the sun beginning to set as she made her way home. Turning the corner, she approached the small apartment building and began fishing for her keys before her eyes widened, "No…don't tell me…damnit, I left my keys inside,"
Hearing the door open, she looked up with wide eyes as her husband stood in front of her, "Hey Taiga, welcome home,"
She sighed and slightly smiled, "Hey Ryuuji, I'm home," she stood up and walked over to him, "I…I uh…I missed you, you damn mutt,"
Ryuuji smiled as he patted the top of Taiga's head, "I missed you too, Taiga," Taiga slightly smiled as she hung her head.
