"Alright everyone, we have reached that time of year again," said Ishigami as the Student Council was in the progress of the meeting, "Did we get another budget cut for the school?" Kei asked, "No" Ishigami, "Did you cut the budget from the Tabletop Game Club?" Chika asked frantically, "No, it`s even worse than that, Finals week starts tomorrow," said Ishigami in dread
Final Exams, the bane of all students as it determines whether you move on to the next grade smoothly or face hell from your parents and teachers, for most it can be a walk in the park, but for some it can be their worst nightmare
"Regarding that, how are everyone`s grades at the moment?" Ishigami asked, "I`m hanging in the top 5," said Kei, "I`m in the middle, but still satisfactory," said Moeha, "I`m doing alright not too high, but not too low," said Chika, "I`m still secure for 1st in our grade, what about you?" Miko asked Ishigami, "My grades are fine, I should be able to pull through with no issues, anyways onto the next order of business," said Ishigami as he continued with the meeting
He`s lying, even as a Student Council President, Ishigami still studies sparingly which has led some people to wonder how a student with average grades could have become the Student Council President
"Really, I think I should investigate this matter," Miko thought as she found it hard to believe Ishigami given his history of not studying very often
Later in the teacher`s room
"Ishigami, your grades have been slipping for a while now, what`s going on, as the Student Council President, shouldn`t you be setting a good example by aiming higher," said a teacher as he was talking to Ishigami, "I guess, but it`s not a big issue right?" Ishigami asked, "Well, you are still sitting in the middle of the pack, but you`re more than capable of being on the top, we want to see more from you," said the teacher, "I see, I`ll do what I can" Ishigami replied, "That`s good enough for me, but you best improve your grades unless you want your image as president to go down," said the teacher to which Ishigami excused himself not knowing that a certain someone was listening to the conversation, "Interesting," the person thought as they walked away
"Miko, what are you doing here?" Ishigami asked as he saw Miko sitting by the window, "Just finished my daily run around the school, by the way, I overheard your conversation with the teacher earlier" said Miko, "Oh that" said Ishigami as he was about to walk away, but was grabbed by Miko, "How can you be happy with being average, you need to do better" said Miko, "Geez, it`s not that big of an issue as long as I don`t fail" said Ishigami which seemed to irritate Miko "That settles it then, we`re all having a study session at my place since you don`t seem to care, I won`t take no as an answer" said Miko as she walked away, "She can`t be serious now can she?" Ishigami thought as he doubted that Miko would actually go through with this
Study Sessions, a period in which students try to cram everything last minute to ensure although sometimes it can backfire depending on if said students decided to slack off instead, in Ishigami`s case as a introvert, this will be interesting After School
"Ishigami, let`s get going, the books aren`t gonna study themselves," said Miko as she grabbed her bag as school was over, "Man I was gonna play video games today," said Ishigami, "Too bad, oh and one more thing, since finals are tomorrow, get a change of clothes from your house, we pulling an all-nighter at my place," said Miko much to Ishigami`s surprise, "Wait what? Why didn`t you tell me earlier?" Ishigami asked in disbelief, "If I told you earlier you`d just run away, now come on, we don`t have all day come on" said Miko as she dragged Ishigami out the hall, "No, I don`t want to study!" said Ishigami as he was being dragged away
At Ishigami`s place
"Oh Yu, you`re back early, who`s your friend?" Mrs. Ishigami asked as the two entered the house, "Hello, my name is Miko Iino, member of the disciplinary committee, I work alongside your son in the Student Council, I would like Ishigami to come to a study session overnight before the finals if that is okay with you" said Miko, "There`s no way my Mom would just agree to let me stay with someone she`s never met before, let alone a girl" Ishigami thought,
"I don`t see any issue, here I`ll get his change of clothes for tonight," said Mrs. Ishigami as she quickly ran to one of the rooms to the disbelief of Ishigami, "You gotta be freaking kidding me, how did she get baited into making that decision so easily," said Ishigami, "I have my ways of getting what I want," Miko said with a grin, "Geez, this woman, I guess the quiet ones are the most cunning," Ishigami thought as his mother came out of the room with a bag of clothes and other things, "Here`s a change of clothes that should last you until tomorrow, now get going, you don`t want to keep your friend waiting and remember to study hard," said Mrs. Ishigami "You heard her, let`s go," said Miko to which Ishigami groaned as he followed Miko knowing he wasn`t getting out of this
"So uh, it`ll just be the rest of the Student Council with us right?" Ishigami asked as he followed Miko to her place, "Yes, my parents are overseas working so it`ll just be us" Miko replied, "Oh perfect timing" said Ishigami as they noticed the others from a distance, "Miko, there you are, I`m looking forward to our study session today" said Chika as she wrapped herself onto Miko, "This is gonna be a long night" Ishigami thought as he followed the group to Miko`s place
"We`re here, make yourselves at home," said Miko as they entered, "Wow, you`ve got a nice place," said Chika as they got settled down, "You guys can put your stuff over there, we should start studying as soon as possible," said Miko as she took out some textbooks, "There`s a ton of books around here it`s almost like a library and what`s with that lifesized teddy bear, you still a kid?" said Ishigami as he looked around the house, "That`s not important right now, get your books and notes out, we`re starting the study session," said Miko as everyone started to settle in
"Geez, this part is completely wrong!," said Miko as she looked over Ishigami`s work as the group was in progress of studying, "Oh it is?" Ishigami asked as he looked up, "Yes the question asks how did World War II start and somehow you put the assassination of the Archduke in 1914!" said Miko, "Is that not the correct answer?" Ishigami asked, "That was for World War I, not World War II, geez do you even pay attention in class?! Your notes are so sloppy" Miko asked as she looked through Ishigami`s notes, "Geez, it`s not my fault history class bores the crap out of me" Ishigami retorted to which the two starting bickering as usual until Kobachi decided to break the ice "Here you can look at my notes, this might help you catch with anything that you missed" said Kobachi as she handed Ishigami her notebook, "Oh thanks" said Ishigami, "At least Kobachi can keep Miko in check, so that`s a relief" Ishigami thought
Later in the evening
"Man I`m hungry," said Chika as the group decided to take a break from studying, "Oh, I guess I`ll order some pizza for us, what do you guys want?" Miko asked as she pulled out a Pizza Hut menu, "I`ll fine with anything you guys want" said Kei, "Oh I want pepperoni and sausage pizza" said Chika, "I want some wings as well also some breadsticks" said Moeha, "That` s a lot for just dinner, you sure it`s okay to get this much?" Ishigami asked to which Miko pulled out a black credit card, "Okay let`s go all out then, anyone else want anything?" said Ishigami as he had a sudden change of heart
"Ishigami, you`re coming with me to pick up dinner and refreshments," said Miko as she got up, "Sure why not, I could use some fresh air from all this studying," said Ishigami as he got up as well, "Hey can you get us some snacks as well," Chika asked, "Yes Chika, we`ll get you some snacks" Ishigami replied sarcastically "Hmm, those two seem to be getting closer don`t you think big sis?" said Moeha, "Not really, the world will likely end before we get to see them actually see them get along" Chika replied
"Remind me again why we`re doing this study session again?" Ishigami asked as the two were walking to pick up dinner, "I doing this out of kindness for you, you should be grateful" said Miko as they entered the convenience store, "Aren`t you worried about yourself? You`ve got 5 other people you need to worry about" said Ishigami as he grabbed some cold drinks from the drink aisle into the basket and some snacks for later, "I`m a genius, something like that won`t affect me" Miko said boldly as she put some items into the basket, "Yeah hopefully that ego won`t cause any problems" Ishigami thought as they walked up to the counter and paid for their things before leaving
"I`m still amazed that as a Student Council President, you still want to treat the position as if you were the former treasurer, I`m surprised we haven`t had any major problems this year," Miko said as they were walking towards the Pizza Hut, "Hey if it ain`t broke don`t fix it" Ishigami simply replied as they came up to the Pizza Hut, "This is serious, do you know how the students view you as?" Miko asked as they entered the Pizza Hut, "Not really" said Ishigami as they picked up their pizzas and wings, "They see you as a carefree president who doesn`t seem to care about the principles of Shuchi`in Academy" said Miko as they walked out of the Pizza Hut, "What are you talking about? Things are normal as if Miyuki were still president" said Ishigami as they walked back to Miko`s place, "Well I was smart enough to beat you and Chika in the election, so have some faith in me" Ishigami replied, "Yeah I`ll do that once you take studying seriously" Miko replied as she opened the door to her house,
"We`re back, oh what happened here?" Miko asked as she noticed Chika laying on the couch facedown, "Oh I think Chika must be really hungry, this tends to happen, here let me help you out" said Moeha as she helped carry the food in, "Chika, dinner`s here" said Kei to which Chika instantly got up like a predator who just came out of hiding, "Finally, let`s eat" said Chika as she grabbed a plate to which Ishigami and Miko couldn`t help, but sigh
"Now I see why we had to order two pizzas, you finished half of one of the pizzas on your own" Ishigami said as the group had finished dinner, "Hey I was hungry okay, anyways back to studying" Miko retorted, "Aww come on, we just ate, let us have a bit of a break," said Ishigami, "I agree, we should take a break after eating," said Chika, "Okay fine, we`ll take a break if anyone wants to take a shower, now would be a good time," said Miko, "Finally," said Ishigami as he was about to reach for his Switch, but Miko slapped his hand away, "Hey when I said a break, I didn`t mean you could be on your Switch, you can use your phone," said Miko, "Fine," Ishigami said as he put his Switch away and got on his phone "I`m gonna go take a shower," said Chika, "Sure go ahead, but try not to spend too long in there, everyone else needs to shower," said Miko as Chika excused herself as the rest of the group took time to relax for what little time they had
A bit later
"Man, I really gotta pee, I knew I shouldn`t have drunk all that cola," Ishigami thought as nature was starting to take effect as the group was still studying, "Hey does anyone know where the bathroom is?" Ishigami asked, "Oh it should be on the left side two doors down," said Kobachi, "Thanks," said Ishigami as he frantically ran, "Wait uh.., never mind" Kobachi was about to say before Ishigami bolted to the bathroom, "Damn it, I really gotta go," Ishigami thought as he opened the bathroom door without knocking to which he was greeted to quite a sight as Miko just so happened to be in the middle of changing, "Wha?" Miko asked dumbfounded as she saw Ishigami, "I uh.." Ishigami started to say before he was met with a bottle of shampoo to the face, "Get out, you pervert!" Miko shouted as she started to throw more objects towards Ishigami, "Whoa, I better go before shit hits the fan" Ishigami thought as he quickly ran away, "Ishigami you`re back oh what happened to you?" Chika asked as she noticed that Ishigami came back with a noticeable bump on his forehead, "Shut up, let`s not talk about it" Ishigami replied as he sat back down to which Chika burst out laughing
"My head" Ishigami groaned as he rubbed his temple, "That`s what you get for peeping, now I`ll never be able to get married," said Miko still flustered, "There there, if worse comes to worst, we`ll just have Ishigami take responsibility," said Kobachi which sent a chill down Ishigami`s spine, "Give me a break, I really had to use the bathroom, so I wasn`t paying attention, it happens sometimes" Ishigami replied, "Sure you were, you saw my body," said Miko sarcastically, "Not like there`s much to look at anyways" Ishigami muttered to himself to which Miko threw another object at Ishigami, "I heard that!" Miko shouted as Kobachi held her back "I`m gonna go take a shower, I need a change of pace" said Ishigami as he got up, "Make sure you lock the door or someone will see your goods," Chika said to which Ishigami groaned in annoyance
10:30 pm
"Man I`m tired, where are we gonna be sleeping again?" Ishigami asked as it was pretty late into their study session and the group was getting more tired, "That`s not important, we`re not going to sleep until you`ve memorized everything that`s gonna be on the finals" said Miko as she was looking through, "Damn might as well try to figure this out" Ishigami thought as he looked through the English portion of the finals,
"Damn I don`t know how to do this" Ishigami thought as he looked at a problem, "Do you need some help?" Miko asked as she noticed that Ishigami was staring at the same problem, "Uh well..." said Ishigami to which Miko came to his side, "Here I think this is the issue" said Miko as she pointed out, "Oh uh thanks, I understand this more clearly now" Ishigami replied as he answered the question, "Listen I`m sorry that I yelled at you earlier," said Miko "It`s fine, maybe I should put some more effort into the finals, that kind side from you, you show it more often" said Ishigami to which Miko blushed "In that case, let`s cram some more studying in for the night" said Miko as she took out some more notes to avoid showing embarrassment
"How are you not tired yet?" Ishigami asked as they were the only two still awake as the others were knocked out from all the studying, "That`s the price you have to pay to be a genius, at least now it seems that you seem more prepared for the finals" said Miko as she noticed that Ishigami was doing better in the mock questions, "What time is it? 1:00 am?" Ishigami said as he looked at the clock, "Yeah, I sleep for only 4 hours a night, so-" said Miko to which Ishigami interrupted her, "I don`t think you understand, but we need to get some rest otherwise this study session will be a waste" said Ishigami, "That`s fine by me, I don`t need sleep" Miko replied to which Ishigami put his hand on his temple in disbelief
"Come on let`s get you to bed," said Ishigami as he picked Miko up princess style to her room, "What?, put me down, we`re not done studying yet" Miko demanded, "Studying won`t mean anything if you`re too tired to remember anything so get some rest, I think I`ll be fine for the finals" said Ishigami as he opened the door to her room, "Wait, where`s your bed?" Ishigami asked as he realized that Miko didn`t have a bed, "Oh, I sleep on that teddy bear, just put me down there" said Miko as Ishigami set her down, "All right, good night" said Ishigami as he left the room, "Finally, now I can get some rest" Ishigami thought as he plopped down on the couch
2 hours later
"Man this place is so dark, I can`t see a thing," Ishigami thought as he struggled to find his way around after deciding to get a drink of water, "Where was my room again?" Ishigami thought as he opened a random door, "This must be it, man I`m so tired, I don`t even feel like moving," Ishigami thought as he plopped down unware that he was next to Miko
The Next Morning
"Morning already?" Miko said groggily as she turned and saw Ishigami next to her," Ishigami, wake up!" Miko shouted as she slapped Ishigami in the head, "What? Where am I? Miko?" Ishigami asked dazed, "We`re in my room genius" Miko replied, "Wait, why am I in your room, we didn`t did we?" Ishigami asked in dread to which Miko slapped him across the head again, "Get your mind out of the gutter, no we didn`t do anything" Miko shouted to which the door opened, "Good morning you two, oh what do we have here?" Chika asked as she entered the room, "It`s not what it looks like" both Miko and Ishigami said at the same time, "Oh no, Ishigami deflowered innocent Miko" said Chika, "That didn`t happen" both Miko and Ishigami said as they tried to clear up the misunderstanding
"So explain how you ended up in the same bed as Miko last night?" Chika asked Ishigami as they were having breakfast, "Miko wouldn`t let me sleep, so I carried her to bed and somehow ended up falling asleep next to her" said Ishigami as he poured himself a bowl of cereal, "Hmm sounds too cliche" Chika replied as she took a bite from her toast "Miko-chan, what time is it now, I think your clock might be broken" Kobachi pointed out to which Miko looked at the clock "Oh no, we`re gonna be late for finals," Miko said frantically as everyone scrambled to get ready, "We`ll have to eat on the go, I will not have this lateness on my record" said Miko as she quickly grabbed some chocolate bars before locking her house as the group scrambled to the subway
"How much time we got before they close the gates?" Miko asked as the group as they were running to make it on time, "5 minutes" said Chika as they realized that Miko was having a hard time keeping up with the others, "Damn it, we`re not going to make it, I`m going to be late to the finals because I overslept" Miko said as she slumped down in defeat, "I`m gonna regret this later" Ishigami thought, "Get on my back, we can still make it" Ishigami said as he lowered himself down, "What?" Miko asked confused, "Come on Miko-chan, we don`t have any other choice unless you wanna have your first lateness," said Kobachi to which Miko sighed, "Fine," Miko said as she got on top of Ishigami`s back, "All right, let`s make a run for it," Ishigami said as the others followed suit
"We made it somehow barely," said Ishigami as he was on the floor tired from all the running, "Here," Miko said as she handed him a towel, "Oh thanks" Ishigami replied as he wiped the sweat off his forehead, "Hey we`re gonna get going to our classes, good luck everyone," said Chika as the rest of the group split to go to their classrooms, "We should start heading off as well," said Kobachi as the three of them headed to their classroom, "Good morning, oh what happened to you?" Rei asked as she noticed some bags under Ishigami`s eyes, "You don`t wanna know" Ishigami replied
"Alright the finals will now begin, everyone take your seats," said a teacher as he entered the room, "Here Ishigami, let`s hope that all this studying was enough, good luck" said Miko as she handed him the stack of tests, "Yeah, I hope so for my sake" Ishigami replied as he passed the exam back and the finals started
After the Finals, a week later
"Whoa, what are you mad at me for?" Ishigami asked as he was running away from Miko who was chasing him around, "It`s your fault that I didn`t get first in the rankings!" Miko shouted, "How is that my fault? Maybe you just didn`t study hard enough this time" Ishigami replied slyly, "Why you, get back here!" Miko shouted as she continued to chase Ishigami as the rest of the Student Council watched to which they sighed, "At least the finals are over now" Ishigami thought as he was still running away from Miko

Hope you all enjoyed this chapter, I know these last few chapters have seemed like filler to the story so I`ll try to in the next few chapters as Ishigami`s Student Council President status will play a big role in the future chapters
