"Let's go, everyone! We are going to be late to Em's recital." I hear my boo yell from downstairs. "You too Emmett!" I chuckle are her. She is always so impatient. Finishing putting my shoes on, I see little feet in pink, sparkling shoes slowly walking towards me.

"Daddy, I don't want to go. Can we please stay at home?" I looked at my little bug. All dressed up in her pretty in a pink dress, with fairy wings giving me the puppy eye look she learned from her mother.

"Why little bug?" I asked her as I kneel down to her level.

"I'm scared. What if I fall or forget what I'm supposed to do?" She said with tears in her eye.

"Oh, baby girl. It will be okay. I will be there with you the whole time and you will be amazing. Okay?" she nods her head at me. I picked her up and we make our way down. I see my love standing by the door waiting on us.

"Everything ok?" she asks.

"Yeah, she's just a bit scared, but I told her we will be there with her the whole time." She nods and smiles at me.

"Come on Princess Fairy, let's go dance." Bella took her from my arms, tickled her and took her to the car. I can hear her giggles while I close up the house.

"Ready?" I called out starting the car.

"Ready!" Everyone cheered.

We made our way to Emma's school and into the cafeteria where the dance was taking place. We follow the signs to her group and teacher, and we drop her off.

"Emma," I called before walking away.

"Yes, daddy."

"I will be, right at the front where you can see me okay? If you need me just look at me and you will be great."

"Okay, daddy." Then she hugs me and waves goodbye. We make our way to our seats where the rest of the family are waiting. My parents and brother are here as well, and they reserved the whole front row for us. The lights dim and the group of fairies come out.

I see Emma standing almost in front of me towards the right. The music starts and all the little girls start to move but my Emma is frozen. She's looking left and right with tears in her eye. I stand from my seat and move a bit closer to where she can see me but trying not to block the view of the other parents. She sees me and gives me a timid wave.

"Look at me, Ems. You know how to do this." I tell her. I start moving, dancing the steps that I have memorized, showing them to her. I see her smile and start to move and together we continue dancing. She's smiling and giggling now, but I don't stop.

I feel the stares and hear the laughs, but no one is more important than my girl. I twirl, shake, wave my arms and lastly, we bow. I'm a little out of breath but my girl is all smiles. I turn to my father and get the flowers I had asked him to pick up and walk towards my love bug.

"Here you are, princess. You did a fantastic job." I tell her as I pick her up after she grabs the flowers from my hands. "Let's go see mama."

We walked toward my family and they hug her and kiss her telling her how wonderful she was. I feel the arms of my Bella hugging me from behind. I turn to her and kiss her.

"You are an awesome daddy. I love you."

"I love you too."
