"Hey this is kind of a nice area. I wonder if it's the same back home. I wouldn't mind owning some property like this." Isabella said as she made her way through Alaska to where Rosalie had said Tanya and her coven lived. The snowy, forest landscape was beautiful and the abundance of wild life made it the perfect place to have a home for vegetarian vampires.

Coming upon a group of trees that seemed to have been unnaturally demolished Isabella realized she was going the right way. Even without the familiar smells all over the place, she would recognize Kate's handiwork anywhere. She wondered who she was fighting this time. It was always fun to see who her family had associated with in each new realm. Isabella hoped there was something here that would embarrass Kate because she knew the whole Edward situation was going to give the blond months if not years of teasing material. She guessed she could just lie about it but everyone knew she was a horrible liar and Kate would just pick on her more when she found out.

Knowing she was coming up on her coven's home Isabella decided the best bet was to shield herself completely so she could see who was there before they noticed her. She was lucky that Rosalie knew the human version of her in this dimension or it could have been really bad. She chastised herself for her soft spot for Rosalie. It was something that Tanya constantly tried to get her to remember, that everyone was different no matter what they looked like or how they acted. Not realizing that until it was to late had caused numerous lectures from her mate when she saw the new scaring and injuries Isabella sustained.

Isabella smiled as she found Kate fixing a window on a large wood cabin style mansion. She figured Kate had broken the window and now was forced to fix it. Isabella decided to have a little fun with the blond haired vampire. She waited until Kate was done sealing the window pains before she ripped the entire window out braking it again.

Kate jumped back in shock."What the fuck! I just finished that. Which one of you broke it? I'm not fixing it again."

Isabella's breath caught when she saw Tanya come out of the front door followed by four others. It didn't matter to her how many times she saw her mate, she never failed to make Isabella's dead heart want to beat again. Looking her over Isabella saw the many differences to her own Tanya. This one had longer hair, she was missing the scar on her neck and the style of clothing she was wearing looked to be a little more provocative than her mate would wear. She wondered if this was one of the places that the legend of the sucubus originated from the sisters. Those were always the fun ones.

"No one broke the window Kate. We were all inside in the living room." Tanya told her.

Irina smirked at her sister. "You're just pissed because you fucked it up and have to redo it."

"That's not true." Kate denied. "I was just finished sealing it and stepped back to look over my handiwork and the window flew at me."

Tanya rolled her eyes at Kate's antics. "Sure Kate, that's exactly what happened. Now why don't you go to town and get more materials to fix the window. I don't think we have the supplies in the shed for another one."

"I can't believe you don't believe me! I"m telling you something isn't right. If you guys didn't break the window then who did?" Kate started looking around trying to find clues to what had happened. She knew she didn't break the window and if her family didn't believe her then she was just going to have to find her own proof.

Isabella laughed at Kate as she decided to have mercy on her and reveal herself to the them. " Kate's telling the truth I broke the window but I'm shit at construction so someone else is going to have to fix it."

"What the hell?" Tanya jumped in surprise at the sound of the laughing woman. She just appeared out of nowhere and was standing in front of them. Shaking off her shock her instincts kicked in and she tackled the vampire to the ground. She was ready for a fight with the stranger but as she felt no resistance from the woman her anger eased somewhat. "Who are you and what do you want?"

"I'm Isabella and I've come to talk to you. I have news of your mate." Isabella told her hoping that would at least get the woman to listen.

"I don't have mate."Tanya growled and squeezed her hands around Isabella's throat.

Isabella grabbed Tanya's hands preventing her from ripping her head off. "My apologies, I was just thinking about all the lectures you give me about getting ahead of myself and what do I do get ahead of myself."

"What are you talking about? I've never met you." This strange vampire confused Tanya. She was sure she had never met her before, but the woman's calm demeanor was setting off her danger instincts.

"Well you have but in this dimension you haven't." Isabella blew out a breath. "I am so going to love pointing out to you later that Rosalie believed me easier than you did."

"You know Rosalie." Tanya asked.

Isabella nodded the best she could with hands around her throat. "Oh yeah Rosalie and I are great friends. As a matter of fact she is helping me unite you and your mate."

"Irina send Rosalie a text asking if she knows Isabella." Tanya figured if Rosalie could vouch for the vampire than she would hear her out. She didn't want to admit out loud but the fact Isabella kept bringing up her mate made her want to trust the woman. She however was the coven leader and her coven's safety was her number one priority. Not even the potential of finding a mate surpassed that.

"Rosalie says that even though you may think she's crazy Isabella is telling the truth and she completely trusts her. When I asked her for more information she said it wasn't safe to talk about it because of Alice." Irina told her.

Tanya trusted Rosalie's opinion so she released Isabella from her hold and got off the woman. "Rosalie may have vouched for you but that doesn't mean any of us trust you."

"That's perfectly understandable. You as a coven leader would be stupid to trust someone you have never met before." Isabella got up and dusted the snow off of her clothing. "I believe introductions are in order. I am Isabella."

Eleazar looked upon the newcomer in awe. "What exactly are your gifts? I know you are a shield, both physical and mental and very strong one at that but there is another one I can't identify."

"Oh Eleazar, you and Carmen are apart of this coven this time. Interesting as I find that to be a rare occurrence in my travels." Isabella looked away from his confused face and looked over the other coven members freezing when she saw a man with dreadlocks. She took a step forward and growled at him. "What is this? Huh? What's the lie did you tell that has them letting you stay with them?"

Irina jumped between her mate and Isabella. "What is your problem? Laurent isn't lying to anyone. He is my mate."

"Pfft. No he isn't." Isabella scoffed at the idea. "I don't know what this bastard told you but he is not your mate. Your mate is a woman named Maggie who usually travels with her sire Siobhan and her mate Liam."

"Maggie of the Irish coven. Have you ever met her before?" Eleazar asked Irina.

Irina shook her head. "No I haven't but that isn't the point, Laurent is my mate. I don't know what your angle is but you aren't breaking us up."

"I'm not trying to break anybody up. I'm actually trying to bring Tanya together with her mate so I can go home." Isabella sighed. "And now that I know that douchebag is here that isn't going to happen anytime soon because my coven would be very unhappy if I left Irina with a false mate."

"Ok,ok." Tanya held up a hand to stop the others from speaking. "None of this makes sense. Now why don't you start at the beginning. You said you are here to get me together with my mate? Explain."

"For you anything. Eleazar is correct when he said one of my gifts is a shield. The one he can't detect is the one that allows we to travel to different dimensions." Noticing the disbelieving looks Isabella held out her hand for Eleazar. "Here I will let down my shield but usually you can't identify it."

Eleazar excitedly grabbed Isabella's hand. He closed eyes and concentrated, stumbling backwards in shock. "Oh, my I have never encountered something like that."

"What is it?" Carmen asked.

"I don't know how to explain it." Eleazar shook his head trying to sort out his thoughts. "It felt like I was weightless traveling through space. It was so freeing. I can't describe it properly but I believe her."

Isabella gave a fist pump. "Great this is going to be so much easier now that you are on my side."

"So say we believe you travel to different dimensions.." Kate started.

"Which I do." Eleazar interrupted.

"Which he does." Kate continued. "You said you were here to get Tanya together with her mate. So does that mean you know who that is?"

"Of course I do it's me" Isabella told them.

Tanya stared at Isabella in shock, her hope slowly dying. "No offense but I would think I know right away if you were my mate."

"No, that's not what I meant. See this is me getting ahead myself again." Isabella huffed. "My apologies I should explain how my travels work and what the main theme is."

"That would be wonderful, then maybe you could explain how the whole travel aspect works and what it feels like. Do you think maybe I could take some readings from you?" Eleazar stopped his questions when Tanya cleared her throat. "Sorry I just get a little excited when I encounter new gifts."

"It's alright." Isabella reassured him. "Ok so the time first I jumped dimensions it was an accident. When I got there I couldn't figure out how to get home. To help me out I thought it would best to see if that version of myself had better control of her gift than I did."

"How did you figure out you were in a different dimension?" Kate asked.

"It was easy to figure out when I came across people I knew who didn't know me." Isabella told her. " When I found myself I realized that she wasn't with that world's version of Tanya. As we got to know each other better that version of myself and I decided to see if the mate bond was the same in both dimensions. We set off to find Tanya and when we did I suddenly was standing back in my own dimension. After that I figured out the common theme to my travels is that whatever that world's version of Isabella is separated from her mate."

"Oh my god, that's so romantic." Carmen gushed breaking the stunned silence that fallen over the group.

"So if what you are saying is true." Tanya held up a hand to stop Isabella from interrupting. "If what you are saying is true, then you are here because you, well this version of you has not met me yet."

Isabella nodded. "Yes, the only things that stays the same no matter where I travel is true mate bonds are always the same no matter what and when I am human if I meet Edward Cullen, he tries to kill me because I'm his singer."

Irina thought over this information. Looking at Laurent she noticed he was doing his best to avoid eye contact with her. "You aren't my mate are you?"

"What of course I'm your mate. You know it. I feel the bond and so do you." Laurent tried to sound convincing but judging from the faces of those around him he wasn't successful.

Tanya also noticing his shiftiness grabbed him by the throat. "Why have you been lying to not only Irina but the rest of my coven as well?"

"I haven't been lying." Laurent denied. "Irina tell them. You feel the bond."

Irina stared at the man really looking at him. She had thought she felt the mate bond with him but after meeting Isabella she wasn't so sure. If Isabella was to be believed and Irina was leaning towards the woman was telling the truth then she had been forcing a bond that wasn't there. It made a sense in a way as she had been desperate to find a mate. She was suddenly feeling foolish. She looked to Isabella. "You know who my mate is?"

"Of course. I know who your's and Kate's mates are." Isabella told them.

Kate perked up at this. "You know who my mate is as well?"

Isabella nodded her head. "Yes, his name is Garrett. Unfortunately I don't have much information to give you to help find him. It seems no matter what dimension I meet him in he is a nomad. I could track him down for you but I don't know how much help I would be. Also not to sound selfish but as I told Rosalie I really need to get home. It's my wedding anniversary and I have a whole day planned for my wife. She understands I have to go on these trips but she really deserves to be romanced at least one day a year."

Tanya growled at Laurent. "I want you to pack your shit and get the hell out here. If you ever come around my family again I will kill you. You will get no other warnings."

Laurent stumbled as Tanya threw him to the ground. He didn't bother answering, he just took off towards the house to grab his things. Victoria was going to be pissed he didn't get all the information on the boy's coven but he wasn't going to stick around and feel the wrath of this whole coven. Kate's gift alone was enough to make him fear repercussions

"Now that that's taken care of. Who is my mate and how do I find them?" Tanya asked feeling excited at the prospect of finally having a mate. It was something she had longed for her entire vampire existence.

"Well there is a little problem that needs to be taken care of before you and your mate can live happily ever after." Isabella made her way closer to Carmen knowing Tanya would hold back from hurting her if the woman was in front of her.

Tanya narrowed her eyes at Isabella. "And what would that problem be?"

"Bella Swan is currently dating Edward Cullen and he has claimed a false mate bond with her." Isabella rushed out as she pulled Carmen in front of her. That didn't stop Tanya from advancing on her though so she threw up her shield causing Tanya to fly backwards as she hit it.

Kate started laughing as she watched her sister pull herself out of a demolished tree. "Oh my god this so good! That human he came here because he was having problems controlling himself around is actually your mate. I can't wait to see his face when he finds out."

"I assume Rosalie knows all about this?" Isabella nodded which caused Eleazar to have another question. "How is she keeping it from Edward?"

"I built a block around her mind with my shield." Isabella said like it was no big deal.

"What?!" Irina took a deep breath to calm herself down. It seemed like every time Isabella opened her mouth they were hit with even more incredible information."You're telling us that you have the ability to create a shield around people's minds that stops telepaths?"

"Well not just telepaths. It would block Kate as well as Jane and Alec. Plus if Jasper is around his gift also, basically any gift that effects you mentally." Isabella told them.

Kate shook herself out of her stupor. "Can you do that for all of us as well?"

"Sure." Isabella readily agreed. "You guys are my coven I would do anything for you but after that do you think we could go find Bella. I really do want to get home."

"As soon as you finish helping with the block we will go right to Bella." Tanya promised. She had gotten control over her anger and was a little embarrassed she had attacked Isabella. She knew who the real villain in this story was and when she saw him again he was going to regret the day he was born. First she would happily have her and her family given a way to block them from serious mental threats. It made Tanya wonder if when her mate was changed if she would be able to make the block as well. She promised herself before Isabella left she would ask her for help teaching her mate how to do it.
