Author's Note(s):

This is double the length that I usually write. I found myself pushing through my usual OCD habit of only writing appr. 3000 words per chapter, but I felt that the story needed some character relationship building.

I don't know if I will be able to keep up with my usual posting of a new chapter every day. I will need to start studying for a certification exam that will hopefully open doors in career advancement.

Ch. 11 The Fallout Part 2

A ball of fire in the shape of a bird appeared in a flash in front of a small stone cottage just as the sun was beginning to set in the western sky. The flames receded to show the appearance of two wizards, one of which was carrying an unconscious woman in his arms.

"Where are we, Potter?" the teen wizard with blonde hair asked his gaze falling on the goblin construction workers as they packed up their equipment for the day. Behind them, Draco saw the building site with dark gray granite walls being built.

"Don't worry Draco your safe," Harry said as he made his way into the small cottage.

Draco quickly followed not wanting to let his mother out of his sight. He watched as Harry carried his mother through the small living space and into a room with a bed in it. The room seemed small but still big enough for a kind sized bed.

Opposite the bed was a stone fireplace that seemed to a have wood burning stove instead of a fire pit. The stonework fireplace acted as part of the wall, portioning the living area from the bedroom. Overall, the small cottage was neat and homy in appearance.

"Draco, I need you to get some potions for me from the medicine cupboard by the sink in the bathroom over there." Harry said nodding to a doorway on the opposite side of the bedroom.

Draco made his way to the bathroom as Harry called out, "I need a blood replenishing potion, a pain potion and muscle relaxing and the skelegrow. I also need you to bring me the large bag under the sink marked with a red cross."

Draco rummaged through the cabinet spotting the bottles that bore the labels of the potions Harry needed he grabbed them along with the kit under the sink that Harry requested. Reentering the bedroom, Draco, found that Harry muttering to himself as he had stripped his mother of her outer garments.

"Damn it," he heard Harry sigh.

"What?" Draco queried putting the medicine bag and potions on the bed.

"What's wrong with mother?" He knelt on the bed as he took hold of her hand.

"Your mom has internal bleeding and although I've been trained in healing magics. I'll be the first to admit that beyond first aid healing I like the finesse for the more delicate healing that your mother needs…" Harry said running a hand through Narcissa blood-soaked hair as he checked a cut on her head.

"Then we take her to St. Mungo's?" Draco watched as Harry shook his head no.

"Your mother's weak and I don't want to move her." Harry sighed, "Watch her while I go get a healer and bring them here."

Draco thought for a moment before blurting out. "Aunt Andromeda is a healer," remembering that his mother had once let her sister tend to a childhood injury.

"That's right," Harry said remembering that Gornuk had mentioned as much in their earlier meeting.

Harry put a hand on Narcissa's forehead and the other to grasp her hand. He shut his eyes and willed his magic to boost the witches own magical reserves and place her in a type of magical status. When finished Harry stood from the bed. "I'll be back shortly Draco."

Leaving the bedroom, Harry found Fawkes waiting patiently on his perch. Beside the Phoenix was Hedwig. Finding a piece of parchment and pen, Harry jotted down a short note before sealing it with his ring. He secured the letter into Hedwig's new leather harness with the Potter family coat of arms on it.

"Hedwig, I need you take this letter to Gornuk for me girl." Hedwig + hooted + her reply before she took off flying out the opened window.

"Come on Fawkes," Harry said offering his arm to the phoenix who hopped onto the forearm.

"Take me to Andromeda Tonks," Harry request and in a flash they disappeared.

Scene Change

Earlier…

Nymphadora rushed into Grimmauld Place tripping over the troll leg umbrella stand as she rushed into the ancestral home of the Blacks.

"Sirius! Remus!" Tonks rushed through the house shouting.

A curtain flung open that covered a magical portrait flew open as the portrait of the late Lady Walburga Black… "half-blood traitor of a mudblood…how dare you disgrace the noble house of Black."

"Shut up old woman!" Sirius stormed into hall.

Sirius slammed the doxy eaten cloth shut. A silencing charm on the curtains muffled the woman's ramblings.

"Why did you have to do that Nymphadora?" Sirius said, watching his young cousin's hair turn a deep red.

"Don't CALL me Nymphadora…" Tonks growled.

"Then don't coming barging in and waking mother's portrait." Sirius huffed.

"Both of you stop it fighting this instant." Andromeda said exasperated with dealing with the broody pair.

"Now come eat dinners ready," Andromeda said turning to enter the dining room.

Nymphadora and Sirius entered the Black family dining room behind her. The trio joined Remus at the table as the group began to dish out the food between them. Andromeda was the first to speak as the dinner begun.

"Now, Nymphadora what was all the shouting about?" The witch in question glared at her mother's use of her hated name, but quickly remembered why she had rushed home from the Ministry after work.

She dropped her fork as she smiled brightly, her hair taking on its bright bubblegum pink that had been a rare site in the last year. "You'll never guess what happened at the ministry today."

Andromeda raised an eyebrow in a silent question as Tonks continued, "It's the best news ever…I mean I didn't personally witness it, but Hestia Jones and Percy Weasley were there and…"

Tonks noticed the impatient and almost bored looks from her companions as she excitedly rambled. A huge smile lit up her face, "He's ALIVE!" seeing the confused looks, "Harry Potter! He's alive."

The silverware clanked to against the plate ware as three sets of eyes were now on the metamorphmagus.

"Say again that again, Nymphadora," her mother disbelief spoke for everyone.

"Harry Potter is alive…he showed up at the Wizengamot meeting…according to Hestia who was on guard detail in the closed chamber." Tonks continued, "He made a grand entrance with the help of Dumbledore's phoenix. He then claimed the hereditary seats for both House Potter and House Black."

"How?" Sirius spoke stunned but growing with hope that he'd be able to make everything right with his godson.

"According to Hestia and backed up by Percy Weasley," Tonks said, "He claims that the dark lord did kill him a second time with the killing curse, which Hestia who answered the call to Azkaban prison revealed that no body for Harry was ever found, but that fact was kept from the press by a gag order from Madam Bones. The cell he was kept in was covered in his blood and magical signature and had signs of torture with unforgivable…the last magical signature registered to be used was the killing curse…

"But how did he manage to claim the lordship for house Potter and house Black?" Andromeda questioned realizing that Harry would still be underage.

"According to Hestia it was an older version of Harry Potter that claimed the seats," noticing the confused stares. "Hestia says that he somehow aged and looks about my age now, but that he claimed that he had aged as much as twenty years because of time paradox that occurred after being hit by the second killing curse…"

Scene Change

Harry appeared in the entry hall of the darkened home. The home was unfamiliar to him, but he could feel the Black family magics saturated in the walls of the house.

The quiet +pop+ signaled the arrival of an old house-elf. "Who be entering the home of Noble and Most Ancient House of Black unannounced."

The elf's large round eyes fell onto the tall powerful Wizard. The eyes bulged as the elf felt the wizard's powerful magical aura and spotted the head of house ring for the Black family. The elf bowed lowly to the lord recognizing that Black family magic.

"Lord Black," the elf said, "Kreacher is honored to serve such a Noble and Most Ancient House and such a powerful wizard."

"Kreacher will happily clear the house of the riff raff that plagues its esteemed halls." The elf looked giddy at the prospect of tossing out the blood traitors.

Harry held up his hand stopping the elf, he asked, "What riff raff?"

A sour look graced the pale elf's features as if he had eaten a sour lemon. "The blood traitors of House Black, their offspring and the mangy were-wolf and their pet hippogriff."

"There won't be a need for that, Kreacher," Harry said, "I'll handle them. You just show me where they are."

Kreacher bowed lowly before leading Lord Black to the dining room.

occurred after being hit by the second killing curse…"

"That is more or less what happened," Harry said interrupting from the doorway.

The startled group stood from their seats, there wands out and pointed at the new intruder. Their eyes widened in surprise as recognition of their guest, but in silent horror at the eye patch and new facial scar.

"James?" Sirius mistaking whispered, but everyone heard the gaff through he silences.

Harry frowned hoping that Sirius would have been able to let his father's death go. "No, Sirius, my father has long since left this world."

Sirius blinked out o his memories to see the difference between father and son. "Of course, I'm sorry Harry…I…" he struggled to find the words.

A growl was heard form his left. All eyes turned to find Remus Lupin's eyes glowing an eerie amber. The were-wolves wand pointed dangerously at Harry, an order was barked, "Prove you are who you say you are…prove your Harry Potter."

"Very well, Professor Lupin, as any question you wish?" said Harry as entered the dining room in quick confident stride. The magical power and grace of movement spoke of a wizard that no one would want to trifle with.

Undeterred, Remus, pressed forward by his inner wolf to challenge the newcomer for confirmation of identity because the wolf could smell similarities between this wizard scent and magic to that of his lost pup. The difference in scent and magic could easily be explained from Harry reaching his full magical potential and a person's scent changes with age, but still Remus needed to be sure, so he asked, "What did I return to you at the end of your third year?"

Harry gave an amused smile, as he answered, "You returned the Marauders Map to me?"

Remus could feel his inner wolf mellowing with the corrects answer given, but Remus pressed on, "And what did you tell me was the shape that your Patronus took?"

"A stag," Harry happily replied, "Just like my dad's animagus form."

Remus had the happiest and truest smile he'd worn all year as his brown eyes twinkled with delight. "Harry," he stated happily, "It's really you." He turned to Sirius as he put his wand away. "It's really our pup, Padfoot."

The two wizards crossed the short distance to meet Harry as the wizards hugged. "Harry…this is GREAT! Your home," Sirius exclaimed. The four pairs of eyes caught the flash of the Lord Blacks signet ring.

The flash of the silver signet ring with the House of Black coat of arms caught Andromeda's attention was the first to revert to herself, relying on the training from her youth in all matters pertaining to the house of her birth. She hated to break up the reunion but felt compelled by her upbringing to fall back on polite manners and ask, "Mi 'lord, to what do we owe the pleasure of your company."

She spoke formally calling every ounce of will power not to be affected by the powerful wizard's magic as his gaze fell upon her. The three wizards separated. The mood in the room sobering.

The family ring whispered to him the name of the witch…Andromeda Black…The witch may have fled her family's home and married a Muggleborn wizard, but the family magics held within the head of house ring still recognized the witch as a daughter of the house.

An easy reassuring smile took her breath away as he turned his gaze upon her. "Andromeda Black…" he questioned referring to her by her maiden name, in hopes, of reminding of her family ties and to show that he, as lord of the house, still recognized her as family. That family bond is what he was counting on to still be strong enough after so many years and hurt feelings to aid him this evening and, in the future, to come.

"…you are an accomplished healer, are you not?" He said and while on the outside he may have looked calm and collected on the inside he was quite unnerved for two very opposite reasons.

Harry could sense that the witch before him was equal parts beautiful and powerful. Her body was a tempting sight for him with her slim hourglass figure, with full breasts and curvy waist, hidden in modest attire. The witch's dark eyes spoke of intelligence and lightening quick wit, but also held a kindness that was sorely lacking in her sister, Bellatrix, but one could clearly see the family resemblance between all three sisters. With the shared the same classic noble looks with high cheek bones and strong jawline that flowed down a grace swan like neck that disappeared into a silk blouse. The only difference, whether intentional on Andromeda's part or not was that the witch in front of him had hair instead of being long, thick, and dark locks was instead long, thick and a lighter brown color.

Andromeda inclined her head in a respectful and deferent manner for the lord of her native house. "I am mi 'lord," the sound of her voice broke the spell she seemed to have placed him under.

"Then I have need of your services and time is of the utmost importance." Harry spoke with commanding authority.

"Of course, mi 'lord," Andromeda replied, "I will get my things."

"Wait your just going to leave, mother," Tonks spoke up ignoring the admonished glare rom her mother.

"Lord Black has need of my service and I intend to aid him," Andromeda said, "I would be remiss in my oaths as a healer if I didn't help someone in distress."

Feeling he had a solution to Andromeda's daughter's reservations Harry spoke. "You are more than welcome to join your mother and I, Nymmie."

Eyes flashed with surprised at the use of a nickname that no one had heard since before the Potters deaths. The nickname had been used by a baby Harry when ever he would see the metamorphmagus witch on visits to the Potter household with her mother to do a checkup on baby Harry's health. A young, Tonks, had delighted in showering baby Harry with attention and adoration during the visits. She would often use her developing metamorph's powers to entertain him.

"How?" Tonks questioned.

"Don't be so surprised I come to remember a lot of my earliest memories with the help of occlumency training and an excellent memory recall." His lips quirked into an amused smile.

Indeed, the combination of studying the mild shielding technique, meditation and a natural eidetic memory that was now unencumbered by outside force had led Harry to remembering events from as early as six months old. Harry admired the fit witch in front of him. 'Yes, Nymmie had certainly grown up,' he thought as he subtly admired her pale heart shaped face a dark twinkling eye. He found her short spiky, bubblegum pink hair amusing, but remembered that she preferred the same hair color when she was younger. Her figure was appealing in its hourglass shape that was kept in a slim athletic readiness.

He found her choice in clothes amusing given the torn blue jeans and 'Weird Sisters' band t-shirt, belt and boots. The discarded Auror robe thrown haphazardly over the chair next to hers. Harry's attention was pulled away from the young witch by the clearing of a throat.

"Does that invitation extend to everyone," Harry's attention was turned to the tired and haggard look of his one-time professor.

Harry smiled pleasantly. "Of course, Professor Lupin," he said cheerily. "But time is of the essence I'm afraid, so if you don't mind…" he turned his attention to Andromeda as she reentered the room.

"…I should be getting Andromeda to her patient." Harry said offering his forearm to the witch.

"Fawkes will stay here and when you are done packing your things, he will flame travel you to my home." Harry said, "Is that agreeable with everyone." The phoenix trilled a happy musical reply from his perch on the back of a high back dining chair.

"Of course, Harry," Sirius spoke up eagerly. The wizard was tired of being cooped up in his dreary family home.

"Good, then we'll see soon," said Harry, "Ready, mi 'lady?" A nod and quick smile from Andromeda the only sign readiness before the two disappeared with a soft +pop+.

Scene Change

The sun had set in the western sky and a calm ocean breeze drifted over the lands scape. The stars hung by the billions and shined in dazzling brilliance along with the crescent moon above the island. The sight took Andromeda's breath away as she gained her look at the landscape upon appearing amongst the landscape on Harry's arm.

"I'll key you into the wards later, Andromeda," Harry assured, "that way you can come a go as you please, but right now time is of the essence."

Andromeda followed close behind the tall wizard. Their destination seemed to be a small stone cottage, but Andromeda knew that appearance could be deceiving when magic was involved. Harry opened the cottage door, letting her enter the cottage first.

The entry point was small but cozy and welcoming. To her immediate left was living area with stone fireplace, but with wood burning stove instead of a fire pit. On the other side of her was the functional kitchen and dining area. To the side of the living room, towards the back wall was two sets of doors.

"Potter is that you," Andromeda was surprised to see a flash of blonde hair of her teenage nephew exit one of the doors. She was even more surprised by the bruises forming on his pale face.

"Yes, Draco," Harry said hanging his and Andromeda cloaks on a coat stand.

"Aunt Andromeda," Draco greeted her with a relieved, yet tired smile that shocked the older witch.

"How's Narcissa?" Andromeda whipped her head around at hearing Harry's question.

"Cissy!" she exclaimed, "What's wrong with her?"

"I think you better see for yourself," Harry said leading her to the small bedroom.

Entering the room, Andromeda, spotted the battered body of her baby sister. She rushed to her side, her wand out as she ran diagnostic scans. Her hand visibly shook at the read out on her little sisters poor health and immediately set to work.

"WHAT HAPPENED!" Andromeda barked at the two wizards.

"Father," Draco said with a sigh.

Andromeda looked furious at his admission. The results of her scans had also revealed the extent of long-term abuse. Heart reached out in sympathy to her sister and nephew. At the same time a maddening rage filled her to make Lucius suffer for his treatment of her sister and nephew, as a pang of regret for not doing more to protect sister.

Narcissa had always held a special place in Andromeda's and Bellatrix's heart. Ever since she was born premature, no one in the family knew if she would even survive and if she did survive would she be strong enough to perform magic, but the family's worries were unfounded as Cissy proved, herself, to be one of the strongest magically powerful witches of her generations. That was a trait that all three Black sisters shared and along with their family's name and power. It made the daughter's of House Black a worthy prize for any marriage match sought by ambitious family's wishing to marry their sons to the three beautiful witches'.

"I'll need your help, Harry," Andromeda said as she sat next to her sit on the bed. She opened her medical bag and pulled out several potions.

"Of course," Harry joined Andromeda, sitting on, on Narcissa's other side.

"Can I help?" Draco begged worried and scared for his mother.

Andromeda shook her head in the negative, "No, Draco," she met his scared stormy blue gaze. "Your mother is very weak, and her magic is all that his keeping her alive. She will need a transfusion of magic to help stabilize her core."

"I can do that…" Draco pleaded.

"I know you want to help, but I'm afraid it wouldn't work Draco…your magical core hasn't stabilized yet and won't until after your seventeenth birthday. The transfusion needs to come from an adult wizard or witch in the family with a stable magical core." Andromeda explained, "I would be the ideal choice as we're sisters, but the transfusion would exhaust me physically and magically. I would need time to recover, and Cissy needs me to be at my best to help heal her injuries…

…Sirius or Nymphadora would be the next best choice, but they aren't here now. That leaves, Harry, even though distantly related, he still carries Black family magic that is bolstered by his position as Lord Black."

Harry felt the wards flare signaling the arrival of guests. Knowing that a distraction would be best for the teen, Harry spoke, "Draco," he looked Draco in the eye, seeing the clear worry in the storm blue eyes he spoke calmly and with a hint of authority. "Fawkes has returned and he's brough guests. Could you see to them while your aunt and I tend to your mother?"

Draco looked torn, but recognized Harry's authority as Lord Black, so he gave a silent nod and turned to leave, but Andromeda stopped, "Draco have Nymphadora tend to your wounds."

A stiff nod of understanding was all the answer they received that the teen had heard his aunt speak.

Turning back to her patient, Andromeda asked, "Do you know how to transfer some of your magic?"

"Yes," Harry answered as he took Narcissa's left hand in his and place his other hand on her forehead. He closed his eye, felt his magic flowing just under his skin in its eagerness to help. Harry willed his magic to leave him and enter Narcissa to aid in stabilizing her erratic magical core.

Andromeda observed with a flush of arousal as her own magic responded to the ambient magic radiating the powerful wizard. Steadying her breathing, Andromeda watched as a brilliant soft glow flowed from Harry into her baby sister causing a warm glow to in case the unconscious witch. Andromeda monitored the transfer of magic with a spell. The spell was designed to read a wizard or witch's magical power level and to check the stability of their magical core.

She frowned as the spell detected a heavy blending of the two magical signatures. A magical transfer shouldn't cause such results unless in rare circumstances of extraordinary compatible magic between a wizard and witch. Andromeda watched as the magical diagnostic spell showed an orb of pink, representing, a witch's feminine magic as a swirling blue, or a wizards masculine magic, wrapped protectively around the pink as the differing pulses given off by the different magical frequency instead began to beat in tandem.

Slowly she watched the spell in fascination as the blue of Harry's magic slowly receded from the pink of Narcissa's magic. Ending the spell, she watched as the warm glow surrounding her sister receded and Harry opened his one eye. A sharp inhale of breath passed Andromeda's her full lips, in surprised at seeing a swirl of gold overtake Harry's before returning to its usual brilliant green.

Harry's gaze fell on Andromeda, he gave her tired smile, "How is she?"

Andromeda ran another diagnostic scan. A pleased smile graced her full lips. "Her core has stabilized enough for me to begin using magic to healer her…"

A musical till filled the room as Fawkes entered the room in a burst of flame. The uplifting sound warming the rooms inhabitants and lifting their spirits. They watched as Fawkes perched on the pillow beside Narcissa's head and tilted his head over the witch's slightly parted lips and pearly white tears fell from the magical birds eyes.

Just a few milky drops fell into the witch's mouth, but the healing tears were quickly absorbed by the witch. The healing properties of the tears set to working in tandem with Narcissa's own magic to speed up the healing process. Andromeda monitored the healing process with spell work.

She gave a sigh of relief and flashed a brilliant smile at Harry as she said, "Cissy is out of danger now thanks to you and Fawkes."

Andromeda stroked the phoenix's plumage in gentle loving way as the bird sung a happy song before he burst into flame leaving the human magic users alone.

"I should go find Draco and tell him the good news," Harry said standing from the bed.

"I'll stay here with Cissy," Andromeda said soaking a cloth in a basin on the nightstand that held cool water.

Harry watched as she lovingly tended to her sister for a moment before leaving the room.

"Lord Black," harry paused at the doors entrance. He turned to acknowledge the middle Black sister. "Thank you for…for saving my sister and nephew and for coming to get me..." She trailed off finding it hard not to become emotional.

"Of course," Harry whispered with a soft smile before he left the room.

Scene Change

Harry entered the living area to find Tonks kneeling in front of Draco. She was putting her wand away having just healed the bruises and blood from Draco's face. Sirius and Remus were looking over the pile of parchment that he had left on the dining table.

Seeing Harry, Draco asked, "How's mother?" Draco stood from the chair he sat in almost knocking Tonks over in the process.

All eyes turned to him. "She's going to be alright, Draco," he said tiredly, "She just needs time to rest and recover."

Harry made his way over to the dining table, found the discarded fountain pen before scribbling his name with a flourish to marriage contract in the section reserved for dissolution of marriage and the reason. He then pressed the signet ring for House Black making the divorce legal in the realm of magical Britain. Harry also made a notation of giving Draco the choice of remaining a Malfoy of being adopted into the House of Black with all rights and privileges due to a son of the Black family.

The parchment's magic recorded the Black Lord's intent to dissolve the marriage based on the violation of terms that he had previously learned about from Gornuk and adding that the further violation of not keeping both Narcissa and her son Draco in a safe and protected environment away from any harm that might befall them from inside or outside harm. Harry turned his attention to Draco and considered him for a few seconds.

Draco looked nervous about the way Harry was watching him. 'Draco showed a lot of courage today.' Harry thought, 'More than I would have ever given him credit for in the past.'

Harry could sense the potential in the young man. 'He certainly would be a powerful asset to House Black…and if he proves to continue to impress it just might be prudent to pass on the Black Lordship to him if Sirius doesn't produce any children.' Harry shot his godfather a sideways glance.

"Draco," the teen gave Harry is full attention. "I'm going to give you a choice," seeing the blonde was listening.

"I have just signed the dissolution of your parents and activated the penalty clauses within the contract." Harry gave the blonde teen a moment.

Draco nodded his head in understanding, a grim look of determination knowing that his entire future as Heir to House Malfoy was at risk but discovering that he didn't really care to be associated with his father's house. The teen had a feeling about what Harry was hinting at… "I don't want to be a Malfoy anymore, Lord Black. I request sanctuary in the House of my mother's blood."

"Very well, Draco, as Lord Black I grant you sanctuary and adopt you into the House of Black with all rights and privileges therein of being a member of House Black. So long as you conduct yourself in a manner expected of a member of Noble and Most Ancient House of Black…" Harry watched the assembled members of his house and their guest as he spoke.

"…Let be known on this day and forever more that Draco Black is a son of House Black, by blood and magic." The head of house ring glowed as the family magic swirled from it out into the room before disappearing into Draco's chest and binding with his magic.

Draco felt a powerful surge in his magic and a feeling of relief at having shed the name of Malfoy.

"Welcome to the family, nephew," Andromeda said giving him a hug and kiss on the cheek. The middle Black sister had felt compelled to join the group as she felt the Black magic in the air. Seeing Andromeda's warm greeting of Draco, Sirius and Nymphadora went to offer their own welcomes.

"Now what?" the teen asked.

"Now, I finish filling out the reason for your adoption into House Black. Seal the parchment with the Black family signet ring and the magic in the contract will copy itself three times. One copy will remain with me, the original and third copy will disappear to be delivered Gornuk at Gringotts while the other copy will find its way to your father." Harry signed his name with a flourish at the bottom of the document and sealed the document with a press of his ring and quick muttered charm.

A flash of light from the parchment and the contract was duplicated before all three copies folded themselves in a leather pouch that protected the parchment. Two of the documents disappeared in flash of light. Harry turned to the crowd.

"All that needs to be done is to retrieve both of your belongings from Malfoy manor before your father wakes up from his forced sleep." Checking his watch for the time. "Which should be in another nine hours."

Draco shrugged and said, "There isn't much I want to keep, and I doubt mother would want anything besides her clothes and her personal library of books…I really wouldn't know where to start to look, nor do I want to return to the manor if the manor wards would still recognize me as a Malfoy." He thought of a solution when an idea struck him.

"That is a problem," Harry agreed, "We know Fawkes can breach wards, but I wouldn't know what you wished to keep and what to leave. I, also, wouldn't let you return even if you wanted to."

"A house elf could bypass the manor wards," Sirius offered as solution.

"Yes, but Kreacher, wouldn't know his way around Malfoy Manor," Harry said nixing using the Black family elf.

Draco brightened, snapping his fingers he exclaimed, "Dobby would!" Seeing he had everyone's attention. "He would also know what items mom would want to keep and what she would want to leave."

"It could work," Harry figured, "but would he answer if we called him?"

Draco had a huge smile, "He would do anything for the Great Harry Potter."

"Yeah, but that was before," Harry sighed remember the absolute devotion that the little elf seemed to have for his younger self. "It's worth a try…" he admitted with a shrug, "Dobby!" Harry spoke with authority.

Not a second later the hyperactive elf popped into the middle of the room. "The Great Harry Potter is alive!" he exclaimed, "and he calls for Dobby," the elf with bulging eyes tearing up.

"Dobby has missed you, Harry Potter," the elf hugged Harry's leg.

Harry smiled as he knelt to be eye level with the emotional Dobby. "How have you been?"

The elf's huge eyes looking up at Harry, his large head quirking to the side. The elf teared up at the question. "Harry Potter is different, but not different… you are older and been hurt, but your magic is the same yet different, stronger than before…but he asks about Dobby."

"Dobby is much better now that you are back, master Harry Potter," The elf shed a few tears. "Dobby wants to work for you. Not want to stay Hogwarts with headmaster bushy whiskers."

Harry chuckled at Dobby's description of the headmaster but agreed. "Alright Dobby you can work for me, but there will be rules."

The little elf nodded his head enthusiastically. "First you get 1 Sickle an hour for 8 hours of work a day…"

"Dobby will take in Knut a day and will work 12 hours…"

"1 Sickle an hour," seeing an argument from Dobby, "but you can work 12 hours plus an hour for lunch and you will have two days off a week. Plus, I will provide fabric and pictures of a what muggles who work in important peoples homes wear for work clothes. I'd like it if you and any other house elf that is employed by me would wear the uniform…" Harry saw the elf about to protest. "To wear the uniforms so that everyone else would know that you represent my houses. These are my terms for employment Dobby…"

Dobby crossed his arms and though over the deal. "Dobby will accept, but with one day off a week and he gets to bring Winky to work for the Great Harry Potter."

Appearing to ponder the demand for a moment. "Alright it's a deal," Harry held out his hand to shake and cement the deal. Dobby did the same, but Harry held off as said, "Only if you get Winky and any other elf's that come to work for my house in the future to agree my terms. If you can't get them to agree to the pay at first. I'll have a vault opened at Gringotts that will hold the elves earnings. It can be used to buy the fabric for the elf's work uniforms and anything else the elves need."

Dobby nodded, "agreed."

Harry shook Dobby's hand, and a magical light signaled the agreement as magically binding. "Welcome to the family Dobby. In future you will be senior elf in charge of house elves. And your first official task needs utmost care, and you need to stay hidden from everyone including the house-elves at the manor."

Dobby nodded his head eagerly. "What is my task?"

"Draco came here," Harry waved the teen over. Dobby was surprised to see his former masters son here.

"Hello Dobby," Draco spoke with kindness to the elf.

The elf seemed puzzled by Draco's presence but didn't react badly, so Harry took that as a good sign. He pressed on, "Dobby," the elf looked to him, "I have dissolved the Malfoys marriage for violation of terms. Narcissa is a Black once more and Draco has been adopted into the Black household."

"That is good, Lord Potter-Black, sir," Dobby's magic telling him to this fact already as he was able to sense the Black family magic attached to both wizards.

"Old master was terrible to Dobby, but he was worse to Lady wife," Dobby remembered the times that Lucius would lash out and physical and mentally harm Narcissa. "Lady Cissa would order Dobby to protect young master Draco and keep him hidden in his rooms."

Draco frowned at the unpleasant memories. "Lady Cissa is nice to Dobby," he gave a look of determination. "Dobby will do whatever you need, Lord Potter-Black."

Harry gave a grateful sigh, "Good, Dobby. I need you to return to Malfoy Manor unseen by anyone including any elves at the manor. Go to Draco and Narcissa's rooms and pack their things and come back here as quickly as you can. I don't want you in the manor any longer than necessary. Anything that has their magical signature on it…so long as it isn't a dark artifact or a Malfoy family heirloom."

"Dobby understands," he said, before giving a salute and popping away.

Harry stood joined by Draco the two wizards turned to their guests. Harry spotted the late hour on the clock on the mantle. Seeing that Andromeda must have returned to her patient. He put his hand comforting on Draco's shoulder in a comforting manner.

"Everything's going to get better Draco," he said, "I promise."

"Thanks, Potter," Draco said out of habit. A sheepish smile, "Sorry, Lord Black."

Harry returned his smile… "Lord Black is for formal occasions only. When its just family its alright if you use my given name of Harry."

Draco gave an answering nod before a yawn escaped him. "It's late Draco. I'm sure that if you ask nicely Andromeda will conjure you a cot by your mother's side and transfigure your clothes into pajamas. I'm sure that Dobby will return soon with yours and your mother things but sorting things can wait until the morning."

Draco silently agreed as the evenings events had tired him out. He said his goodnights to everyone and disappeared into the bedroom to be close to his mom.

Harry glanced to the other marriage contract laying on the dining table. "What are you thinking, Prongslet?" Sirius had long become familiar with the stony face that signaled that a Potter man was having troubling thoughts.

Harry picked up the contract in his hands. "Did you have a chance to read over any of these contracts yet?"

Sirius shook his head no. "Not really." He said, "You came out of the room just as Remus and I started to look at them. I know that they are marriage contracts and pertain to Narcissa and Bellatrix's marriages. Draco, gave us a brief timeline of events from the evening including what that bastard did to Cissy and Draco."

Harry handed him Bellatrix's contract. "I think you should read this, and the notes made by the goblin on their expert opinions on the contents in the contracts. You'll find notes that Narcissa suffered similar magics, but was lucky to be bound to only one master, unlike Bellatrix…

…I'm sure that your expertise in charms could be useful Remus." Harry glanced to the quite were-wolf.

"I'm sure that you'll be able to help explain the finer points of how the charms work and the consequence of using the conflicting charms on one mind," Seeing Nymphadora listening and watching, "You should look them over to, Nymmie," he watched as her started to turn red, but stopped returned to its bubblegum pink. "Take notes because I fully expect to have your help when I present this as evidence to Madam Bones and Chief Witch Longbottom as reason for a legal appeal into Bellatrix's case."

Tonks perked up, curious, Sirius to spoke, "You can't honestly try and defend my deranged cousin."

Harry looked back at Sirius and pointed at the document he handed him. "I can and I will. Read the contract and the notes. You'll see that by the morning that Bellatrix had no say in her lie ever since that contract was signed, she's been little more than a puppet on a string."

Harry walked to the door of the cottage. Grabbed a heavy a cloak and secured it around his shoulders.

"Where are you going?" Remus asked from the seat at the table.

"To rescue the other daughter of House Black." Harry informed them casually. "There is an open bottle of good scotch in the cupboard over the sink. I believe you'll need it. Fawkes."

The phoenix answered his new owners call. Setting on the wizards shoulder. "Take me to Bellatrix," he said as the bird sang a happy song before fire flashing the wizard away.

Next, chapter sees The Fallout continue with Bellatrix's rescue. We, will also, see finally get to see the announcement in a special edition of the Daily Prophet about Harry Potter's return to the wizarding world and how it affects different people in Harry's former life.

Additional Note:

I based Dobby's pay on the British minimum hourly wage.

In my world 1 Sickle (pure silver b/c a Goblin wouldn't mint anything less than pure) weighs 5 troy ounces. 1 troy ounce of pure silver on August 28th, 1996, was market valued at $5.20 (US Dollar). Now I will be the first to admit that I suck when it comes to mathematics, but I've estimated that at $5.20 per ounce times 5 troy ounce (weight of what I believe a Sickle would way) equals roughly $26.00 (USD)/hour being Dobby's hourly pay.
