Only Time Will Tell

Oh boy, this took some time! I wanted to get this just right and I have a feeling your going to like this! I wanted to get this just right, i didn't want to rush it. Unfortunately, that means taking more time to iron out what I wanted to do. Please don't be too mad about the wait. This chapter ended up being as long as chapter nine.

Paris…was in complete ruin.

From high above, anyone could see that the epicenter of the attack had been at the site of the Eiffel Tower, with its body horribly mangled and twisted as if a being had burst from under it and fire destroyed what was left.

However, one could also see a strange barrier around the ruin, showing that the carnage was contained, nobody could get in, but that also meant that no one could get out except for the one who created it. Whoever was in the barrier, was either dead or soon to be dead because of what was in there. All around the epicenter, it at most looked like several bombs had gone off as the buildings were in complete disarray and most were still on fire. It was a rather terrifying site behold.

People were trying to get in the barrier still to try and save loved ones, but that was impossible as no one had the means to get in, not even the local super heroes. Nor the heroes from around the world. Even the ever-popular Doorman because there were no doors left in the ruin. The outlook was bleak for everyone.

As for who was inside the barrier, well, most were dead in the initial attack that started around evening when the full moon was looming over everything and shook the City of Love awake. Most would forever on call this place the City of Heartbreak now. If it could even be called a city anymore.

There were two beings here that were alive. One was the popular hero Inari, who was forced the fight alone once the barrier entrapped him. He looked to be on his last legs, his costume barely hanging on as it had been torn to shreds, but his necklace was firmly around his neck. The same necklace that contained Kurama's Kwami form. Just behind him, sticking out of the ground was what remained of Zabuza's sword that his Miraculous had transformed. It was a shell of its former self, much like how Inari, also known as Naruto, was now.

"I…don't know how we are going to get out of this one alive, Kurama."

There was silence at that from his partner, but the small fox then spoke his in his mind, mournful of the situation. "I know…I would have loved to see you as a full-fledged guardian…Naruto. But this Trail went FUBAR the moment Hawk Moth tried out his new power. I guess the only good thing out of this situation is that his own creation killed him."

"Yeah….I just hope Chloe forgives me." Naruto replied sadly. At this moment, he knew he was going to die. Looking up, he winced as a giant creature roared at him. At first glance anyone would think that this…thing was the Nine Tailed Fox Demon…but that wasn't the truth because Kurama in this world was a Kwami. No, this horrible creature was Hawk Moth's first attempt at combining the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculous. He wouldn't live long enough to regret that decision.

The creature was massive as it put a paw on the broken remains of the Eiffel Tower to look taller. Its fur was rotting and full of mange, it looked like its back was blown out, anyone could see the spine and ribs and the middle tail with fully exposed bone. This horrifying creature was a Zombie Kyuubi…with all the powers of its Ninja world counterpart, mostly thanks to the way it was created.

Naruto held up his arm where an elaborate seal was placed and activated it as he tried to perform his ultimate attack. As he did this, the Zombie Kyuubi release tons of energy and it collected above the creature in a massive ball of energy that turned as dark as night, all the tails raising above to control the energy. Soon, Naruto's Rasengan formed, and then the seal did its magic and added the wind. Soon his Rasengan gained massive wind blades, the attack swirling violently and picking the wind. His attack shone brightly as the rainbow properties of his chakra took on were added. Even people outside the barrier could see the bright color and most had hope that he could win, but their was fear remained because of the Zombie Kyuubi's attack too.

The wind picked up something it should not have and a sharp piece of metal plunged into Naruto's arm, disrupting the seal and shorting out the attack, but that type of attack you can't just stop, it violently exploded around him, the blades of wind gashing various parts of his body, making him scream out in agony. With his body bleeding heavy and him about to pass out, he watched as the Zombie Kyuubi roared out in its dual voice, one sounding like a monster while the other sounded like a woman in so much pain. The creature's attack grew in size before it used it tails to launch it right at Naruto, not caring the boy was right next to it. "I'm sorry Chloe…looks like I am going to be late for our date." He sadly cried before the attack hit and all he saw was white. Soon, the attack expanded outward until it hit the barrier and then that broke as well, whipping France off the map for good.

The scene panned out until it was high in the sky and became fuzzy like a broke TV screen. In an all-white room with multiple versions of this screen all around her, a woman in her 20's stared at the screen with tears in her eyes. This woman wore a black skintight suit with neon purple lines outlining her collar, neckbone, and around her breasts to shoot down her stomach. She had on short black biker type shorts with gray shin guards attached. Over that, she had her own black trench coat with silver ling one the edges and those same purple lines in intricate designs on her arms and on the inner lining of the coat, it was dark tan with black flame like veins decorating it like they did Shukaku's body. Her knee high, sharp toed boots where much like her coat with purple intricate lines decorating them. Wiping her eyes of her tears reveal them to look yellow with a 4-pointed star as the pupils. Her domino mask was black and lined with purple on the outside and silver on the inside near her eyes. Next, her hair was dark purple and parted to the left side, framing her face and shaved short on the right. The rest of her hair was spiked up in a pony tail that spiked out in six directions around her head. Finally, she wielded a massive black handled scythe with a dark purple guard above the blade and futuristic spikes and lights on top of that.

"I will not let this happen to you Sensei. I can't lose you to that! Sorry Bunnyx, but I am leaving the Borrow before Ladybug can get you back." With that, she slashed the fuzzy screen, making it bleed black and look like the edges were sinking in. Then she jumped into it, ready to fix the past so Naruto would survive like he was supposed to.

Naruto laughed loudly as he and Manon walked through the Louvre together. She would point out how silly some of the exhibits were and honestly, he had to agree. The past of this world did seem silly sometimes. Of course, not all of it was silly, and just like his old world, full of war.

That was when Alix bumped into the them. "Hey Naruto, who's the kid?"

"This is Manon." Naruto laughed when the girl pouted. "She's Nadja Chamack's kid."

"Huh, neat. I didn't peg you for a babysitter, Naruto."

"Usually no, but Manon is practically family, it would be rude not to look after her sometimes. So what are you doing here, I didn't think your dad had any work for you here today." Naruto asked, actually curious because if Alix could help it, she would be away from this place.

Alix looked uncomfortable. "That's the thing. My family watch has been acting weird again and sent me a couple messages, one was to get you and Manon at this very spot and time and then have our group meet Ladybug and Cat Noir down the hall. It is very strange."

"The cat and bug are fighting Mr. Pigeon for the 24th time, why would they be here?" Naruto asked as he eyed the watch in Alix's hand. There was something off about it, like it produced an energy of sorts, but was cloaked somehow. it was on the tip of his tongue too.

"Beats me, but that guy doesn't seem threatening," Alix replied with a shrug. "It just mentioned I was to run into you and her, met someone new, and then we aide Ladybug and Cat Noir with a strange villain. Mr. Pigeon is as strange as it gets…I think."

That was when the air around them started to swirl and blow things away from them, making Alix's eye widen as she freaked out. Could this be how they met this mysterious person? Then a split in the air opened up like something was coming through a rift. Finally, a woman in black and purple came out as she knelt in front of the group, shaking the cobwebs out of her head.

"When it said to meet a new person, I was NOT expecting this!" Alix freaked while Naruto stood in front of Alix and Manon in a defensive posture, hoping this person was friendly, but that wicked-looking scythe made him think twice.

The woman then looked in their direction before a bright smile shown on her punk rock like face. "I made it….but when am I? Did I get here too early?"

"We are not sure what you are talking about." Naruto started. "Who are you?"

The woman studied Naruto's face with a smile before saying, "You can call me Chrono Rogue for now. I am here to make sure nothing bad happens to you soon, but I fear I am too early. My memories from this day are fuzzy."

"Ok, you lost us here." Alix deadpanned.

"Heh, nice to see you, mini bun bun." Chrono laughed nervously, "You usually explain all this time stuff way better than me."

"Bun bun? What does that mean?' Alix asked with a slight blush. She wasn't sure what it meant, but felt like she was being treated like a kid. She hated that!

"It is a pet name for someone with a bunny moniker." Naruto chuckled. "But you mentioned you were supposed to protect me from something. What was it and why am I so important that you have to come from the future?"

"It…has to do with your final Trail, but I fear I came back too early. Oh man, she is going to be so pissed at me!" Chrono Rogue whimpered before a ping was heard from Alix's pocket.

"Oh crap, that is the reminder that we have to run into Ladybug and Cat Noir," Alix cried as she took off down the hallway only for said heroes to literally barrel into her.

"That was some wipe out." Naruto said as he helped Alix back up, Manon giggling the whole time.

"No kidding!" Alix complained before she lit up again at seeing the heroes in front of her. "But this is crazy! How is this message still right?!"

"What message?" Ladybug asked when she and Cat Noir got back to their feet, only to see Alix, Naruto, Manon, and someone new that put them on guard considering that they had been dealing with another new person and that he was from the future. This lady very much looked like she too came from a different time.

"This watch has been in my family since forever," Alix explained as she showed them her watch, making Chrono's eyes widen. "It's never chimed until today. It has a message for you Ladybug. Well, you and Inari, but he is not here. It told me to bring the message to you while gathering the others behind me."

Ladybug took at the watch with much confusion on her face while Naruto had a concerned but thoughtful look on his own face. There was no way all this was coincidence, especially with Chrono Rogue coming in like that that, who looked nervous now. When Ladybug opened it, a hologram of a woman in an old-style dress appeared with a clock of her own. "Nice work mini bug, you're right on time. Now that Inari is with you, dig as deep into the past and you'll find the rabbit's burrow with the help of the time thief."

"Is anyone else lost?" Cat Noir replied nervously. "Inari is not with us."

"Let's cut the act." Naruto sighed, making Alix look at him oddly. "This rabbit obviously knows what is going and seems to trust Alix with certain information."

"Are you sure?" Ladybug asked nervously.

"Yeah, this one time, I think we can trust someone mysterious. I am unsure what is going on topside, but for you two to be here recharging, then it must be serious." Naruto said before he transformed into Inari.

"WHAT THE HECK?" Alix said loudly before calming down somewhat. "Naruto! You're Inari?!"

"Yes, now can I trust you to keep this a secret?" Inari asked seriously.

"Oh, you can trust me, I was just surprised one of my classmates is a superhero," Alix replied with chuckle.

"But what about Manon…wait, she is not even reacting, did she already know?" Ladybug asked with big eyes, surprised that Manon could keep a secret like this. The normally rowdy girl would have been shouting to the mountain tops that her cousin was a hero.

"Yeah, she's known for a while now," Inari replied with a chuckle. "Oh, and I think the thief mentioned is her, Chrono Rogue."

"Hello." Chrono replied nervously. Of course her partner would have known all about her impulsive action to came to the past. "Can we just get back to finding that timely rabbit?"

"I see, but what would digging into the past mean here?" Ladybug replied,

"And would we need an actual shovel?" Cat Noir asked helpfully.

"That's doubtful." Inari snorted with mirth.

"Hmm, since this message was for us here in the museum, they had to mean the oldest exhibit here?" Ladybug deduced happily. "What is the oldest exhibit here?"

"The Egyptian collection!" Alix replied excitedly, glad she was helping the heroes this time. However, it also made her wonder. Since Naruto was a superhero, did that mean Ladybug and Cat Noir were her classmates too? They did have similarities to a couple of her friends. "My old man says that some of these things date back 5 thousand years!"

It did not take them long to get to said exhibit and start knocking on a few of the displays to see if anything was hollow. The one at the vary back seemed to hold their prize. It was an old obelisk with even older Egyptian writing on it. "THERE! It sounds hallow, do your thing kitty!"

"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir shouted before touching the obelisk, making it disintegrate and reveal that someone was actually asleep inside and it made Chrono Rogue smile even more nervously. This was her partner alright. She wore a vivid arctic blue and white jumpsuit with pockets on her stomach, which had a black turtleneck with a white cotton ball attached. Her mask was blue at the top, and white at the bottom, and it had small sapphire blue–colored circles at the corners. She had white rabbit ears, which had black lining, and were baby blue on the insides. Her tool, an umbrella which is white on the outside, white and baby blue on the inside, with a white handle, was attached to her back.

The blue and white bunny themed heroine fell forward just a bit as she woke up and stretched. She then blinked and looked at the people before her and smiled. "Mini bug, Kitty, and Little Fox, I knew you all would solve my riddle! Heh, a basic security measure in case the watch was stolen."

"Nice to see you again, Bun Bun." Chrono Rogue replied happily. Chrono Rogue walked right up to the time thief with an emotionless look on her face. When she was in front of her partner, she smirked while slapping the back purple haired woman's head. "OW!"

"That was for disobeying my orders to stay put, but now I need to do something very important."

"What's that?" Manon felt that urge to ask.

"BATHROOM!" The woman cried as she hightailed it, making everyone sweatdrop at the scene.

"Heh, she always does this. Think up some elaborate plan, like sticking herself in a time trap and staying there for years while for the rest of us, it is just a few minutes. She always has to pee super bad."

"Well excuse me for saving our butts with that plan multiple times." The woman shouted from inside the bathroom, the others looking a bit nervous. This situation was entirely new to them after all. "Anyway, I am sure you all are wonder who I am. My name is Bunnyx. In the future, I am a member of Ladybug and Inari's joint team of superheroes. Well, the heroes that you are going to become. After all, you're the mini versions of who you are. Within the team, there are partnerships like Ladybug and Cat Noir. Chrono Rogue and I are the last chance team. We are called upon if everyone has failed."

"Hey, we got you out of the stone, so that means you failed too, right?" Cat Noir asked, getting confused about all this time travel stuff.

"Yes, well no. It was actually your fault, or shall I say it will be your fault in the future. One of your cataclysms will accidentally damage my Miraculous before Inari could grab you to stop it." Bunnyx replied as she left the bathroom to give Ladybug her broken one to avoid a time paradox. After all, she will take the one in this time, while the Miraculous cure fixes hers. Win-win! "That's how Timetagger will send me into ancient Egypt and get me stuck in stone."

"Timetagger?" Inari asked.

"The guy that showed up just after we defeated Mr. Pigeon for the 24th time." Cat Noir replied with a shrug. He honestly stopped trying to figure out all this. Too much of a headache.

"Wait, so how are we going to even do that without the rabbit miraculous!?" Ladybug asked, knowing there was a problem since they didn't have that in the box right now.

Bunnyx smirked before turning to Alix. "Do you have the watch?"

"My watch?" Alix asked in confusion as she dug back into her pocket for the device.

"Yes, my watch, our watch," Bunnyx replied as Alix handed it over with some hesitation. Once she did, the silver watch actually turned into the Miraculous!

"WAIT! So, this was a Miraculous the whole time!" Alix nearly shouted in shock.

"Oh! Camouflage mode." Ladybug replied happily now that she understood.

"Yep! Fluff, counterclockwise!" Bunnyx replied, depowering so her Kwami could recharge after all this time. Once she was fully revealed, she looked like another version of Alix! Future Alix had on a pink shirt with a black bunny-themed gear for a logo, a black vest over it, black wrist-length fingerless gloves, a pair of goggles over her head, denim shorts over her black leggings, and the same sneakers. She also had piercings on her ears and nose, and her arms were covered with lime green snake scale tattoos, decorated with pink flowers and undersides.

"But you are-"

"So mini-me, you get it now? You're me and I'm you. Well, more precisely, I am you when you grow up."

"Wow, I can't believe how cool I am going to be when I'm older!" Alix cheered before she smacked her forehead. "For the record, I was joking that there was a Bunny Miraculous!"

"Heh, I remember that. Funny how that comment kicked us in out cottontail!" Bunnyx laughed.

"This doesn't make sense!" Ladybug replied while messaging her temples. "I never gave you, I mean her, I mean either of you the Miraculous."

Older Alix shook her head at the mini version of her leader in sympathy. "You haven't yet given it to us because you haven't realized yet how awesome we really are." Like that explained it to the teen. "Don't worry, you will. One day."

"I am going to get a Miraculous! So cool!" Present Alix cheered, "But then who is Chrono Rogue? She looks awesome!"

"Oh! Chrono, let them know while I feed Fluff." Older Alix replied with a bit of mischief in her eyes. She loved seeing her partner like this in front of her leader and teacher.

"That is fine, but they will never guess who I am since I have changed so much from who I am in this time. Shukaku, Calm Sands." Chrono Rogue replied with a shrug but eyed Inari nervously. Once the woman was in her normal state, they saw that her hair was very much the same purple punk style, which bled into her normal attire perfectly. She wore a black leather jacket with many band pins on it and on the back with a white fox sigil. Underneath with a small purple shirt that showed off her belly and cleavage. Her pants were black skintight leather with purple neon lights running up the sides, but that was covered by an irregular-length skirt that was torn in spots. For shoes, she had on black knee-high, open-toed, boots with purple laces. She smirked at them and asked, "Any guesses?"

"Of course they won't guess right." Shukaku laughed maniacally as he rassled them all. "I still say we were the one who should have gone to ancient Egypt! I would have been seen as their two chaotic god that terrorized them day in and day out while you would have been seen as my dark avatar. HA!"

"Shukaku." The woman said in a way too sweet of voice that made the sand raccoon Kwami gulp nervously. "Play nice, or else."

"Yes ma'am!" Shukaku shivered out.

Naruto chuckled a bit at that. He was glad to see the future user of the 1 Tailed Miraculous able to keep Shukaku from flying off the handle. "I have an idea."

The woman scratched the back of her head for a moment. "Well, it would be embarrassing for a student not to be known to her Sensei in the Miraculous world."

Naruto smirked a bit, "So student, got a name?"

"You really are going to make me say it." The woman groaned before an idea hit her. "How about this. A song that connects us." She then activated a seal on her wrist and in a poof of smoke, clearly showing that Naruto had taught her some ninja stuff as well., a black, white, and purple guitar appeared in her hands, making their eyes widen.

"It's so easy, anyone can give up the fight, and run away. But I've got a feeling you just might be the type to bravely head into the fray." The woman began with a dazing smile as Manon begun to along next to her, after all, the little girl already figured it out. "Carry on the dreams you believe are true and defend the friends who believe in you. There's so much you have yet to be. Go on and see!"

Inari shook his head as he figured it out just by the two girls dancing next to her and the lyrics to the song. He smirked at a confused Cat Noir and made his own guitar appear. "Of course. From within, your power will soon ignite and the flame will fill all the world with light. Do not be discouraged, set free your courage. Your story's about to start. Show me your brave heart!"

Cat Noir's eyes widened. He too knew this song because the band was just now making it. He knew this was special for Naruto because of old man Sarutobi. So, to revise it and make it better, that was a big thing! He smiled at the two getting along, knowing this woman must be important in the future of his friend.

When the song was done, the two smiled as the woman held Manon in her arms. Her physical appearance may have changed, but her heart was still the same. "It is nice to see you grown up, Manon."

"WHA!" Ladybug nearly shouted with huge eyes. This woman was Manon in the future?!

Older Manon just gave Ladybug a wink, knowing she was Marinette and that was all Ladybug needed as the two also smiled at each other. "Yep, our family's song is a big hit in the future. I even play alongside your band from time to time. I am a punk-pop star after all."

"But for that future to still happen, we need to defeat Timetagger here in the past." Older Alix stated as Older Manon and her transformed back into Bunnyx and Chrono Rogue. "We still have our parts to play, this is why I anticipated my partner joining in the past. "Chrono, we are too early to save your teacher, but once Timetagger is defeated, I will help you prepare."

"Ok, I trust you," Chrono replied with determination in her eyes as they prepared to take out the future Akuma.

On their way outside, Bunnyx raised their spirits even more by mentioning that Timetagger was nothing compared to some of the future villains they had to deal with like Doctors Rage and Sadness, the return of Lady Tesla, Ecliptain Invaders, Pain and Tears the twins of the inner dimension, Mygestia's evil sister, the False Beasts, and a Monsieur Rat. So this was a cakewalk for the team. Of course, Cat Noir had to ask if he and Ladybug were a thing. Chrono snicked at that while giving Inari a knowing look while Bunnyx smirked and said if she revealed that, it wouldn't happen. That shut the cat up real quick, much to Ladybug's amusement.

Once outside, Bunnyx grimaced at the scene before them. "We've taken too long. He has set up a giant time web around us."

"Surround by just one guy, does that mean he can attack from anywhere?" Cat Noir asked.

"More like from any time." Bunnyx replied.

"This looks more like what I heard about my father," Inari replied. "Teleporting in time and space all around the battlefield with his Flying Thunder God Technique. This villain is no joke."

"HA!" A voice rang out in the sky as Timetagger appeared high above them and shot at Inari, who completely disappeared. "Inari was here and now I made him disappear! Gimme your Miraculous, don't make me ask. It's pretty clear you're not up to the task! When I bring them to Hawk Moth's door, Ladybug and Cat Noir will be no more."

"Stay where you are," Bunnyx ordered once she saw Cat Noir losing his cool once he saw his friend disappear and he was ready to attack. "I anticipated that happening. Inari is pretty powerful in the future. He thought he could win by sending him to the future." When she saw Timetagger's smirk, she retorted, "But even he should know that is a bad idea for him and Hawk Moth in that time. Inari can work well himself because of all his clones."

"Oh shit." Timetagger and the present Hawk Moth replied in unison.

"Now, let's see if I can deal with this idiot before Inari stops him from ever coming in the first place. That man is still as unpredictable as ever. Chrono, I am counting on you to get him back here." Bunnyx stated as she sent her partner to the future with her Burrow ability.

"Just what have I gotten myself into this time?" Naruto asked as he de-transformed, looking around at the future version of Paris. It looked to be late morning if the position of the sun was right. Looking around, he saw that a lot of the city had become high-tech. This was going to be hard, but he better get his bearings and see what was going on in the city. If Timetagger sent him to his time, then he needed to figure out how things worked. The Hotel had to be around here somewhere.

What better way than to become the Mysterious Strange with his cloak and skulk around town, however, before he could do that, a small hand tugged at his shirt. Looking down, he saw a little blond girl in pigtails and the brightest blue eyes he had ever seen and she was in a yellow sundress. He didn't know her exact age, but he knew she was a bit older than Manon was. She looked familiar to him but he could not place it right now.

"Hello little girl, how can I help?"

"Your funny daddy." The little girl giggled. "We better get to the Art Museum before mom gets mad. She had a new exhibit she wants to show us before everyone else!"

Naruto stared at the little girl in shock. This kid really thought he was her dad!? He was too young for that! Or was he? He had Chloe were pretty well off. If they decided to have kids sooner rather than later, they'd be ok. Besides, Andre and Audrey would want to spoil their grandkid anyway.

The question was how was he going to explain his situation to the kid in front of him. "I am sorry, but I am having an off day, who are you again?"

The little girl pouted cutely before she calmed down. "Come on daddy, it is me, Hikage! But you do look different, did you finally shave or are you a clone?"

Well…that answered that question. This kid was his future child. Surprisingly, he was totally ok with that. "I don't know if you believe me, but Timetagger sent me to the future."

"Who? Is that one of her new Akuma?"

"Her?"

"Yes, but she hasn't sent out any Akuma today to mess with anyone." Hikage replied cutely.

Naruto put on a thinking face and smirked. So he was sent to the future but was before Timetagger was created. What a bad move on his part. Maybe he could stop this from ever happening in the first place! However, he won't just leave his daughter here by herself, he would take her to this art exhibit first then find a way out of this mess. "Say, why were you by yourself in the first place?"

Hikage giggles to herself. "I played a prank on Auntie and snuck away just like you taught me. She has no idea where I am."

Oh, so that is what that felt like. Pride in someone else. Too bad it was overshadowed by unbridled joy and he took his future daughter in his arms and spun her around, much to her delight. "Come on, I'll am going to get you some ice cream before we head to your mom." Sadly, finding out who Timetagger was, flew out the window at the point.

"YAY!"

A couple of adults walked down the street to the local art museum which the female of the two owned as she was the curator and a famous artist in her own right. This lady was the future version of Chloe Bourgeois, now known as Chloe Uzumaki. Chloe had grown up very well in the eyes of many. She was a caring individual to those she deemed worthy. Of course, there were exceptions to that rule. Like if you screw her over or mess with the family that she held so dear. Then you will deal with the legendary wrath she gained from her own mother.

However, today was technically her day off, but she wanted to show her husband her latest exhibit before anyone else. So, because of that, she wore her casual attire which consisted of a pair of stylish white pants that she kept around since she was a teen but it showed off her shapely ass to her husband when he walked behind her. Next, she wore a pair of the latest shoes made by her fashion partner, Marinette. It would be considered rude to wear another brand since the two women owned said brand. Her top of was an Adrian Agreste style shirt with flower designs and little bees buzzing around, which honestly showed off a fair amount of cleavage from her impressive set of assets that she inherited from her genetics. Not that her husband complained because when the mode struck, and it struck often, she was able to quickly remove these clothes and have a wild time. Honestly, it was a wonder how they didn't have more kids. Just Hikage and the one on the way that she just learned about. Anyway, her hair was still in her ponytail that now went down to her butt, but was in a black ribbon that spiraled around her hair.

Holding her hand was her husband, an older Naruto Uzumaki that still had his wild looks that only improved as he grew older in her opinion. He had gained a goatee that he copied from Jagged Stone and made it work for him….and her in many pleasurable ways. His hair was a little shaggier but it was still the same style he had always had. He wore a red muscle shirt that showed off the lean muscles that she loved to run her hands over and a pair of jeans with his band's logo on his right butt pocket, a vulpine-looking unicorn. The Logo for Kitty Section, courtesy of Marinette. Finally, he had on a pair of old-looking red shoes. He wasn't fashion-forward like her, he stuck with comfort and she had no issues with that.

"What's your hurry to get to the exhibit? It is not opening until tomorrow?" Future Chloe asked with a sly smile on her pink-coated lips that shined in the light. Did he want a little action again in her museum? She could go for that.

"Hard to explain." Future Naruto replied as he held his head a bit. "I have a fuzzy memory that I'd like to avoid."

"What could happ-" Future Chloe ask but was just off as they passed a corner, only for the time-traveling Naruto to run face-first into her breasts with Hikage on his shoulders.

"Uh…that." Future Naruto deadpanned with Future Chloe laughed with a melodious chime in her voice.

Chloe looked down at her daughter and smiled at her before she looked down to see who was in her breasts now, only to see a face she has seen for years, but younger. She looked to her husband with a sultry and said, "Oh? I have never heard you complain about this before."

"I mean, it is kinda embarrassing." Younger Naruto managed to say as he looked at her, trying to move back but Future Chloe had already held his shoulders to keep him in place.

"Oh don't be like that." Future Chloe pouted, but made it look hot before she reached over and took her daughter off his shoulders and asked, "What are you doing here baby? Shouldn't you be with your aunt?"

Hikage giggled before saying, "I pranked Auntie before going to find daddy to bring him to your exhibit since he can lose track of time."

Future Chloe had a good laugh at that considering the Naruto she found was lost in time. Now she remembered Naruto telling her about the Timetagger incident, so this was how he came up with the name Hikage. A sort of time paradox. She could live with that. "Well then let's show daddies the art exhibit!" Chloe cheered before she led both versions of her husband into the art museum.

Once inside, the interior looked amazing. It was a veritable melting pot of every different culture in art form. It was quite amazing. "Do you like it? I figured since I married into a different culture, I wanted to go one step further and unite the world of art."

"Whoa! I think you did an amazing job, Chloe! You have a great eye for this stuff!" Younger Naruto nearly shouted as he now held Hikage, who giggled brightly.

"Yeah! Mommy loves traveling around getting new art made and stuff."

"That she does." Older Naruto replied as he put an around his wife's shoulder and looked at her with love. "She has become an amazing woman. I mean, she was already amazing before, but now she is even more in my eyes."

"Sweet talk will get you everywhere." Older Chloe said as she leaned in to kiss her husband. "I'll show you the new Japanese art I found for the exhibit after you take yourself back to the past. I am sure Manon is waiting for you." She paused and had a teasing smirk on her face. "When are you going to invite her to have some fun. You know how she feels about you despite her one and off relationship Jiraiya. You know I don't mind since we had that night with Lila after all."

Older Naruto looked a little green at that. "Come on hime, you know I look at her like I look at Hikage. It would be weird since she is family."

"I am only teasing you." Future Chloe laughed before they heard a commotion outside. "You two better get going if you want to get home."

"Right. Thank you!" Younger Naruto said excitedly before the two blonds ran outside.

"Mommy? What fun did you have with Aunt Lila without me!?" Hikage cried.

Older Chloe blushed at that and started tickling her daughter for a distraction. "Boring adult stuff, Sunshine."

An hour later, they heard the tell-tale signs of panic outside, and both Inaris rush onto the scene of Future Cat Noir accidentally breaking the Bunny Miraculous watch on accident and then being flung into the past like what was explained before.

"Crap, we missed it!" Younger Inari called out, catching the attention of the future version of Ladybug and Cat Noir, who merely smirked.

"Glad you could join us Inari, just like how I remembered. You did get flung into the future." Ladybug of the Future replied as she walked over to him. Like his future self, Marinette and Adrien were older and defiantly more fit for the job of Heroes. It was true what they, every superhero was hot because they had to constantly work out. "I see you met yourself and your future wife."

Younger Naruto blushed heavily. Oh, he met Chloe's future self alright. His own future self was a lucky man. A gorgeous wife and a beautiful daughter. He couldn't be happier. "Yeah, now how do I defeat Timetagger before this happens."

That was when Chrono Rogue appeared in a portal from the Burrow. "That is something that shouldn't be prevented. Plus, this had been a great way to introduce you to the future a bit."

"Wait, are you sure?" Younger Naruto asked.

"Yeah, I always have a plan to deal with this stuff." Future Lady said with a smirk that turned into a genuine smile as Cat Noir took her hand. "Besides, this is my way of thanking you for what you did for us that day even though I didn't show it because of that stupid song afterward."

"What?" Younger Naruto asked while his older self laughed as he remembered what he did for shits and giggles.

"Yeah, don't worry about that." Future Cat Noir stated as he handed over a picture of a red-haired woman to the blond. "Read that when you get back. My dad and Kagami's mom will help you find her, but that holds a little advice."

That was when Bunnyx returned looking down as she handed the Future Ladybug a crumpled-up piece of paper. "I am sorry Ladybug, I didn't deliver." She said, downcast.

"Not true, Bunnyx. Every problem has a solution, you taught me that, remember." Future Ladybug said while nodding to the younger version of Naruto, making Bunnyx smirk. When she uncrumpled the sheet of paper, she had the bunny-themed hero create a portal in a certain spot. "Kitty, let's go fishing!."

"Of course, My Lady." Future Cat Noir replied in a suave manner as he extended his staff into the past while she sent her yo-yo out to tie up the time-hopping Akuma so that their past selves could defeat him, which they all watch with a bit of mirth.

"Ladybug always has a plan and if not, I make one up on the fly. It has worked well for us these past years." Older Inari stated as he gave Future Cat Noir a high five while Future Ladybug gave her past self a pep talk.

"That is great and all, but how do we save him from that disaster of a final Trial!" Chrono asked Bunnyx, getting everyone's attention. The younger Naruto did notice that everyone had a dark on their faces when the final Trial was mentioned. Was it really that bad?!

"That picture was the first step." Future Cat Noir said in a chirper tone.

"Correct." Bunnyx replied. "Just how I predicted that you would meet me in the past to impulsively save your teacher, I have already taken steps to save him from his untimely death."

"Oh…I should have figured that." Chrono Rogue replied, looking down at not figuring that out sooner.

Bunnyx smiled gently at her partner and gave her a hug. "Now say your temporary goodbye."

Chrono Rogue nodded and walked over to younger Naruto as he stood in front of the portal back to his time. She looked at him with a small blush, noticing the short distance between them. "Naruto, thank you for teaching and giving me the chance to be part of your team…to be a part of your life. I know I can be a brash and impulsive brat at times, but you will be the best teacher around."

"I…I don't know what to say." Younger Naruto replied with a bit of his own blush on his face at the compliment. "You are family after all."

Chrono smiled before enveloping him in a hug. "You mean too much to me. I won't let you die." She whispered to him, making his eyes widen as he turned his head to look at her, only for their lips to lock together as she lightly kissed him. She didn't give him a chance to retort before pushing him through the portal, it closing soon after. She then turned to look at the older Naruto to see him staring at her and smirked just a bit with a blush still on her face. "What? You know how I feel."

Naruto stumbled through the portal and then shook his head. That was trippy. Why did Future Manon have a thing for him? They were family after all. Sure, they weren't blood-related but still family since he took care of her when her mom or Marinette couldn't. Walking over to the little girl next to Alix, seeing that Ladybug and Cat Noir and had to dip out early, he decided to de-transform.

"Can I trust you to keep this a secret, Alix?"

"You bet. All this is just crazy though!" Alix gushed. "I will cover for you in class Mr. Ninja Hero.

"Heh, thank Alix. Seeing what I saw, you're going to make a great hero." Naruto turned to Manon and crouched down to her level. He stared at her for a moment and then smiled, the little girl smiling right back at him. "So will you. I will make sure of it." He then took out Shukaku's necklace and put it around her, making the sandy raccoon appear. "Looks like we found you the right person to handle you." That made Manon's day. She could help out Naruto in the future. Then she wouldn't be so lonely since her father wasn't around and her mom had to constantly work.

Shukaku just screamed like a little girl, making the three laugh.

Gabriel sat in his lounge in despair while Nathalie came over to serve him so calming tea. "If I am not Hawk Moth in the future, then I will have failed."

"Or you succeeded." Nathalie countered as she gave him a comforting hug that he hesitantly accepted, making the woman smile. A part of her though wanted him to fail and move on from Emelie. That way she had a chance.

When they broke the hug, Gabriel had a contemplative look on his face. "Timetagger also mentioned that the Hawk Moth of the future was far stronger and wasn't even called Hawk Moth. He called them Techno Moth," He paused and closed his eyes, thinking about the implications of that. Looking over to the file on the end table next to him, he picked it up with a frown. "If I can't save Adrien's Mother…then I can at least reunite another Mother and Son."

"Naruto, it has come to my attention that Ms. Tsurugi here knew your mother." Gabriel Agreste said as Naruto and Adrien stood in front of him in their mansion with said woman standing next to him. So that is why we decided to help you out."

"Correct," Tomoe replied. "You see, your mother and I were best friends back in the day. We were even sparring partners. To that end, when she was pregnant with you, she named me your godmother."

"Then you must know where she is!" Naruto blurted out, not thinking. There were times when he thought that his mom might still be around. After all, why did this world hold any inheritance for him. The answer should have been obvious.

Tomoe gained a pained look. "I figured you would be angrier at me for not taking you in. Truth is, I…was in that accident too...we all were. That is how I lost my sight. I did ask about you, but they told me you...died…despite there being no body to recover. So I didn't look for you, I looked for your mother though."

"Did you find her?" Adrien asked for his friend, worried about what this was doing to him. Of course, he knew that Naruto was from a different world and that there were people here that had been reincarnated from his old world. So that meant his parents could have come here, right?

Tomoe nodded. "I found her…then she too disappeared. You see, the accident caused her to lose her memories of everything. So, she left before I could recover and take her in. I only just recently found out where she ended up."

"Wait, about his father?" Adrien butted in again.

"He died in that car accident as well I am afraid," Tomoe replied sadly before giving Naruto the file they had collected on Kushina. "This documents her life, where she went, and where she ended up."

Naruto hesitantly took the file and opened it up. There he found the very same picture that the Future Cat Noir had given him. Except this one was newer while the other world had some age to it. The picture showed a long red-haired woman in jeans and a plain red shirt, smiling at a group of African tribal kids. Naruto learned as he read on that she left to try and find her past, but when she did and found out that her family was dead in this world, she ran away and ended up in Africa, helping the people there as best she could. "Alright," Naruto stated with determination in his eyes. "I will go and get her."

He just wanted to see that woman that was his mother in person. In both worlds, it seems. However, he knew from reading the older picture inscription on the back that she would not recognize him.

"I figured as much," Gabriel stated curtly. "That is why I have set up a private plane to take you there."

"Thank Mr. Agreste," Naruto said gratefully before turning to Adrien. "Hey, try not to end the world while I am gone." Adrien just laughed nervously.

Back in the future, a certain villain sat on a throne in their lair, staring with a bored look on their face at the dozens of monitors in front of them. That was when they saw some disturbing things going on. Buildings were disappearing, same with people. Then they saw Bunnyx and Chrono Rogue panicking before hopping in the Burrow.

"Seems I might find something interesting in time." A distinct female voice said with mirth.

It had taken some time, but as Naruto and Chloe walked out of the plane and onto African land. They noticed how freaking how everything was. "Naruto, are you sure you want to do this?" Chloe asked him as she held his hand tightly. Just like how he helped her with her family drama, she would be there for him when he met his mother.

"Honestly, no," Naruto said with a shiver. "I didn't meet her in my old world because she was already dead. And to meet her here…feels wrong. But the advice from the future said that if I did, to not be discouraged if she saw me and didn't know who I was. That still hurts Chloe."

Chloe winced at that before she pulled him into a hug. "I am here for you." She said, crying a bit at how hurt he sounded.

"Thank you." He whispered to her before then started walking to the little village down the road that his mother in this world resided. As soon as they saw her playing with the local children because she was their teacher, Naruto felt like someone was punching him in the gut. He had always wanted to meet his mother, but for her not to know him, that just felt wrong.

Thankfully, the other part of message he received on that picture came true. Chrono Rogue appeared in a portal of her own with a grim look on her face. "I have no idea how Bunnyx does it. She predicted this situation, so I need you both to come with me."

Naruto took one look at his mother, who finally noticed the new comers to her village, then squeezed Chloe's hand, telling her that they needed to go. As they went into Chrono's two way portal, they missed the look of slight recognition in Kushina's eyes before that turned to bewilderment when they disappeared into a portal and the nearby plane disappeared too. She gained a thoughtful look on her face because she was told her family had died in that accident, but that blond haired boy looked like the boy in the picture all those years ago. So, what was going on?

Naruto and Chloe walked out of the portal to see Bunnyx panicking as the numerous screens in her burrow went haywire. He could have sworn that one showed a moon that was blasted in half!

Knowing that his inner turmoil about his mother would have to wait, Naruto asked, "What is going on?!"

"Oh, thank god you got them in time, Manon," Bunnyx replied worriedly. "I notice that Marinette messed up the future by leaving a present for Adrien in his room and he saw her. He deduced correctly that Ladybug is Marinette and that she loved him. But that good thing came too soon and in the wrong way. Adrien decided NOT to tell Marinette that he knew she was Ladybug and just went to her to confess that he loved her. Naturally, his father became suspicious of this and threatened the girl to stay away from his son."

"Oooh." Chloe groaned. "That caused Hawk Moth to go after Marinette, didn't it?"

"Yes!" Bunnyx cried. "Adrien saved her but revealed that he was Cat Noir and knew who she was. That somehow led Hawk Moth to figure things out and Cat Noir got Akumatized instead and literally destroy Paris and the freaking world because it was screwing with Adrien's mind. But that is no longer the worst part!"

"What could be worse!?" The pair of blond lovers freaked out.

Bunnyx shook her head with a grimace. "Future Hawk Moth, known as Techno Moth created a diverging timeline damnit!" Now that was freaking bad. Sure, Bunnyx and Chrono Rogue were no longer disappearing, but the creation of two diverging timelines around the same time and created two threats! "The problem with this other timeline is like the opposite. Instead of Cat Noir getting Akumatized, it was Ladybug because Hawk Moth killed Cat Noir when he wouldn't obey him!"

"So that is why you brought us in." Naruto deduced.

"You being out of the country at that time, helped us." Chrono Rogue affirmed. "Chloe, we need Honey Bee to help Marinette because Cat Noir also killed Naruto and took his Miraculous."

Chloe gained a deadly edge in her eye when she heard that. She did not like that news, but she would forgive her childhood friend in this instance because he was out of his damn mind! "I'll do it." She replied in a deadly tone.

"Good, because Ladybug is having a hell of a time with Blanco Vulpe. He was Cat Blanc for a moment, but this divergence is really screwing everything up!" Bunnyx shouted in a panic.

"Chloe, take this." Naruto said, stopping her before she could leave. Chloe took the item he gave her and her eyes widened. "Stay strong with the 7 Tails aiding you!" The blond girl nodded before she smashed her lips to Naruto's.

"For luck my Knight." She then synchronized both Miraculous and turned into an armored version of Honey Bee with a golden scarab hairpin in her hair and as a large shield to go with her estoc blade. It even gave her a tail and six wings made of millions of golden bees. With that, she jumped through the portal that Bunnyx made for her to help Ladybug.

"What do I need to do then?" Naruto asked after a moment.

"We need you to help Cat Noir take out the evil Ladybug, Despair Reigns." Chrono Rogue explained as Bunnyx opened another portal for him to hop into.

Inari fell onto a large skyscraper and found the world to nearly be underwater. "Well…shit. Kurama, do you have any advice for this battle?"

"Don't drown?" Kurama chuckled nervously despite feeling Naruto's annoyance. "Clearly, she has some sort of overpowering water power, but other than that, we weren't given much info on her new form. Just be careful."

"IMPOSTER!" A female voice echoed out in rage one moment and then the next, Cat Noir was propelled through his building, causing it to start falling.

Inari shook his head as he drew up his ever-trusty black hole, jumped in and had it reappear in along Cat Noir's trajectory, catching him in the process. A few seconds later, they dropped onto another building. "Oh god, that really hurt." Cat Noir groaned before getting back up to look at his friend. "I thought you were in Africa."

"I was, but I thought I said not to destroy the world while I was gone!" Inari cheekily replied.

Cat Noir sighed heavily. "Now is not the time for that. but wasn't given the full story. Anyway, Ladybug in this timeline had gone insane form her ordeal while my counterpart is the one to destroy his world. Apparently, she had to watch as Hawk Moth killed me for disobeying him. As I said, we don't have the full story as I have no idea why Hawk Moth would do that. Send an Akuma to fuck shit up and cause panic, yes, but actually kill? That doesn't sound like him. And I haven't gotten a solid answer out of her yet. She just yells that I am some sort of imposter."

"I noticed." Inari deadpanned.

"Little kitty never on the ledge waiting for me because he died." Evil Ladybug cried as she sang until she jumped in front of them. This Ladybug, now Despair Reigns, looked different. She wore a half helm that took on the characteristics of a black beetle, commonly as the deathwatch beetle. There seemed to be a constant flow of tears running down her face, and her eyes were completely red. Either from this new form or from the constant flow of tear was unknown. Her suits was also completely black, but looked worn down. On her back was a shell to protect her, but it made her look hunch-backed. Her yo-yo had turned into a wicked looking ball and chain.

Then she saw red when she spotted Inari. "YOU! Where the fuck were you when we needed you to take on Hawk Moth?! You weren't there when Hawk Moth taunted Cat Noir into using his Cataclysm! When…that man stepped aside when Kitty wouldn't stop and had a panic attack when he disintegrated the woman in the glass tube! Then he stabbed my kitty in the spine, killing him!"

"And what happened to Hawk Moth then?" Cat Noir asked, afraid to hear the answer. Also, it seemed that their main villain did hold someone dear to him.

Despair snapped her attention to him and said, "I drowned him in my sorrow. I killed him! Come back to me my kitty, I am sorry for calling you an imposter, Adrien."

"Oh shit," Inari groaned out in annoyance.

"Wait, you aren't supposed to know who I am!" Cat Noir said a little freaked out.

"HOW COULD I NOT KNOW AFTER YOU TRANSFORMED IN FRONT OF ME TO SAVE ME!"

"Oh…." Cat Noir really didn't have an argument for that. He wasn't sure why he would have transformed in front of her to do that. Why wasn't his normal self enough for that? Just another reason why he was useless as himself and not Cat Noir. "I am sorry, I wasn't there for you. But we need you back to your normal self."

"How cute." A voice rang out and in a bright light, a new player appeared. The new person was clearly a woman. There was no mistaking who this was. The red hair and cruel look her eyes were a dead giveaway. This was an older version of Lydia. Sure, she still had her attire of Lady Tesla somehow, but she gained the attire of Hawk Moth as well! She had a silver half mask under her steampunk hat that had taken on cyberpunk designs, along with her normal attire. But she had the giant wings of a butterfly draped over her, making it look like an evil cape of sorts. "You boys think you can save a fallen hero."

"Lady Tesla?! I took away your Miraculous!" Inari growled out, angry that one of his villains was actually back. Did that mean he had to deal with her more in the future?

"Thank you for that reminder, fool. I was smart enough to create a separate costume and set it aside for my return. Too bad for Hawk Moth, that return left him without a Miraculous, heh. Also, if you haven't figured it out, I am from an alternate timeline. Now I am the Hawk Moth of the Future, Techno Moth!" She then walked over to Despair Reigns and cupped her chin, much to Cat Noir's anger. "Poor girl, heartbroken and insane. Here, let me help you." She pulled out a device shaped like a butterfly and attached it to her chest, causing her to scream out in pain at it electrocuted her while amplifying her power. "Enjoy my new masterpiece boys. My Ladybug!" With that, the woman disappeared, her laugh echoing.

However, the boys didn't have time right now to figure out…where or when she went. Despair was now floating high above them with black butterfly like wings replacing the shell on her back while her costume now covered her entire body. She didn't say a word, just stared at them from on high with red glowing eyes.

"Damn that Techno Moth bitch!" Bunnyx growled out.

"Don't worry, I am sure Inari and Cat Noir can save her," Chrono said nervously while she watched another screen where Blanco Volpe toyed with Ladybug and Armored Honey Bee. That man was having too much fun messing with them and seemed to be enjoying Honey Bee's distress at killing his version of Naruto. But the ladies were being smart about their attack. They were luring him into a false sense of victory.

Back with Inari and Cat Noir, they watched in fear as the water all around them began to encircle Despair Reigns in a protective shell before it turned into violently spinning rings, ready to cut them down.

"Shit," Inari growled out. "I'll get that device, you handle the ball and chain, that probably has her Akuma."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Only options at the moment!" Inari roared as they dodged a wave of water. That was when Despair used her ball and chain to direct the water at them until she switched it up and collected the water around it until the ball and chain were huge and ready to fall on them.

"OH SHIT!" Cat Noir cried before he was punted deep into the water.

Inari grimaced at the force that sent his partner away. That had to have been rough. He then looked at a certain seal on his wrist. That attack was going to have to do. He didn't see any other way because if he used a lightning attack, it might kill the girl….and maybe them with all the water around.

"Good a time as any to test this thing. Marinette, I am sorry." Inari held up his hand and formed rainbow Rasengan and let the seal activate to create his next attack. The Rasenshuriken.

Cat Noir resurfaced to see them and had to swim even harder to get back to land because the waters were being batted away from Naruto with his crazy light show attack and now Despair's wings flapping around, creating hurricane-like winds.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Cat Noir screamed while noticing that Despair was collecting the remaining water around her ball and chain, swinging it up high to get the momentum to ram it down hard on them.

"PROBABLY SOMETHING STUPID!" Inari roared back. That was when he gained another idea. Sure the rainbow aspects of his chakra were what gave him a fighting chance against the magic of the miraculous, but what if he added the Kitsune Bi? Shrugging, he added that to the attack, the winds amping up the fire too intense degrees. The Rasenshuriken changed a little at that. The center of the attack took on the form of a blue fox head while the wind blades stayed in place. "HERE GOES NOTHING!" Inari roared and thrust the attack skyward, it actually leaving his hand as the wind blades

Attack and Water ball hit each other and the moment they did, steam roared all around them as the fire burnt away the water, but the winds kept it all around them. This steam acted like a double-edged sword and burnt them a bit. It was only thanks to the magic of the Miraculous that it wasn't worse! In the steam, the rest of the attack struck true, engulfing Despair as she silently screamed from the pain.

There was nothing but silence after that as they waited with baited breath to see if that did anything for them. Both boys were worried for her safety, but Inari felt immense guilt that he had to hurt a friend. Maybe he even killed her.

That's when they saw a body falling from the sky and Cat Noir bolted off to catch her. However, Cat noir couldn't believe his eyes when he saw her. She was no longer that corrupted version of Despair Reigns. She was Ladybug once more but totally knocked out. The fires, while getting rid of the water, also purified the girl. It was quite amazing and lucky, but ladybugs were lucky after all.

"She isn't waking up!" Cat Noir cried out, really worried. He knew she was breathing but it still scared him.

"I can fix her!" another voice called out from a portal. They looked over to it to see their Ladybug and Honey Bee, happy to see they were ok. Ladybug ran over to Cat Noir and cupped his cheeks. "I can fix her, but we have to back to our own time. There, I can fix a simple mistake and then a miraculous cure will fix everything. But you have to leave her here, kitty."

Cat Noir stared at her in disbelief for a moment then sadly looked down at the version of her in his arms. He closed his eyes in pain before he laid her down as gently as he could. That made Ladybug smile softly at how caring Cat Noir was. "Ok, I'll trust you on this." He said with pain in his voice. "How did any of this happen anyway?"

At that, Ladybug looked uncomfortable while Honey Bee snickered. "Let's just say I delivered a package wrong."

Bunnyx and Chrono dropped off Adrien just before he was supposed to get home that day. Then they dropped off Naruto and Chloe at the plane that was supposed to come back from Africa but was already here. There, Naruto decided that since he saw his mom and didn't what to cause her any confusion by going back.

"Are you sure, Naruto?" Chloe asked as she held him, knowing he could be really upset.

Clearing his throat, Naruto nodded. "Yeah. Now that I know she is ok, I am happy. But now, we have other things to take care of."

"What's that?" Chloe asked curiously.

Naruto gained a serious look. "This whole ordeal could have been avoided if they were in control of themselves and knew who the other was."

"No way!" Chloe replied excitedly after she understood. "I'll get the others!"

After calling his two friends, Naruto, as Inari, waited on the rooftop of a particular building with his arms crossed and a serious look on his face. When both Ladybug and Cat Noir showed up, they weren't really sure why they were called here. "What's this sudden call about Inari?" Ladybug asked.

Inari sighed. "You two have gone through great strides to just be good friends to each other, but there is always that pull and a stupid decision that can mess things up. Well, today that ends, hold out your hands." Ladybug and Cat Noir glanced at each other in confusion for a moment before shrugging and doing as told.

He then put one of his Miraculous in each of their hands. Seeing their wide-eyed fearful looks, he said, "This evening, you face yourselves. You face and accept the parts of your selves that you don't like because if you don't you will never grow as a person. That will keep interfering in your lives as people and as heroes. Once done, your transformations will cease and you will then see the other for who they really are while also purifying the Miraculous. You can remain friends, end up together, or stop associating with each other after that. The choice is up to you."

"Inari are you crazy!?" Ladybug yelled, having a near panic attack.

"I already spoke with Fu about this before he transferred guardianship to you and your mom. He believed this was the right choice as well. Today proved that more than enough for me. No more of these situations that could cause the end of the world or split timelines!"

That cause Ladybug to flinch while Cat Noir raised an eyebrow at that. "Alright with me. I noticed I have a few things to work out."

Ladybug looked down at that before she stared at the golden scarab hair pin. "Fine, if it'll help me, that I'll do it!"

Inari gestured for them to face each other and put them on. Nodding, Ladybug put on the hairpin while Cat Noir strapped the cobalt blue watch on his wrist. The effects were instant. Ladybug, like Honey Bee, gained and armor form with wings and a tail, but the wings seemed to be attached to a ladybug shell of sorts and instead of bees, it was a swarm of Ladybugs. As for Cat Noir, he was once again looking like a dapper cat with his gentleman suit combined with his normal attire and two burning tails that had blue and black fire.

However, they couldn't see the outside world right now. Their eyes glowed red and Blue respectively as they dealt with their inner selves with the help of the old jinchuriki of their new Miraculous.

"Do you think this will work Inari?" Rena Rogue asked as she jump down and waved a hand between their eyes to see they were dead to the world.

"It has to." Inari sighed. "Besides, neither Bunnyx nor Chrono have stopped me yet."

"Dude, this better work or else things could get ugly." Carapace sighed as he took a seat next to his friend.

"This will work." Honey Bee said as she held Inari's hand, watching as one by one, the rest of the team showed up. This was a simple defensive measure in incase any negative emotion from those two escaped and caught Hawk Moth's attention.

Adrien woke up and found that he was in his bed room, only it was the one inside of his mind since outside was distorted. Looking around he saw another version of his standing there. It was himself as the corrupted version of the double miraculous.

"Glad to see you again, Adrien." Came the voice of Yugito to his right, sitting on his couch. "Seems that Naruto has finally deemed it time."

"Yeah, but is facing myself really the answer?" Adrien asked softly as he walked over to her and sat down.

"We are actually helping each other to be honest," Yugito admitted, much to his shock. "You see, my oldest friend, Matatabi is still corrupted herself, if only a bit. I can't leave her until I see that you are the right one for her. For that to happen, you have to be true to yourself. That will help her too."

"I think I get it," Adrien replied uncomfortably. "In a sense, she is wary of a new person and still clings to you."

"Yep." Yugito confirmed. With the snap of her fingers, the figure of his corrupted self moved, but what he wasn't expecting was for Cat Noir to come out of it by himself. "Usually when we do this, it is your dark half that you have kept hidden from the world. With you, you literally split yourself in two. Now go talk to him."

Cat Noir was playing foosball when he noticed Adrien come up to him. "About you came, now play me in a game."

Adrien blinked owlishly. "Uh, sure. Is this how we are going to do this?"

"Of course not, I just felt like playing a game." Cat Noir replied with a cheeky grin. "But the reason I am here is because as soon as you took on the mantle of the Black Cat Miraculous, you disassociated from yourself. I was already here, wait for you."

Adrien nodded as he blocked the little ball. "That makes sense. You're my confidence. The strength to do stuff I never could."

Cat Noir frowned before scoring a goal. "Not true. You still do stuff in confidence as yourself, especially when people like Marinette are involved. The main block is something else I know you know."

Adrien sighed heavily as he took out the ball and put it back in play. "You're right. It's father. I want him to accept me and love me for me. It often doesn't seem like he does. Even after all this time, he still hides away when not working, mourning mother."

"True, but even I know that is not normal. Still, he won't see us. So, we show our real self little by little. Mom is gone, I accept that now. He needs to as well. He is not in control of who we are!" Cat Noir replied as he scored another goal.

"I never block you out, I just kept you aside for my Hero persona. Who said I can't be like that in both aspects of my life?" Adrien asked as he scored his own goal. "Father? He lives in his own world apart from me. I am NOT the perfect obedient son like he wants, if I was, I'd be like Felix! I will make him see me!"

"Good." Cat Noir replied with a smile. "Now, one last thing. Ladybug is just a persona like me. You don't love her, you love the idea OF her. You and I both know there is someone in our lives that is better for us. A friend we both know that has helped us both."

Adrien blinked owlishly. "Marinette? But she is just a friend."

Cat Noir shook his head in the negative. "Cut that out. Mom taught us better than that. Sure, we barely know what love it thanks to Father, but the feeling we get when around her is stronger than what we have for Mother. That is love…or at least the beginnings of it. Let her teach us what love should be about."

Adrien walked over to the window and smiled despite himself. "You're right. I want to follow this feeling."

"Good, follow your heart and show the world who Adrien Agreste IS!" Cat Noir declared as the entire room shook. When Adrien looked back at his hero self, he saw that he was gone and when he looked at his reflection, he was looking at Cat Noir with out his mask. "Well, Yugito, how was that?"

Yugito stood up and smile before she went over and hugged him. "Good job kid." She said as she started to fade. "I can feel Matatabi's happiness and the corruption leaving her. She doesn't need me anymore. Take care of her for me, will you?"

"I will."

Yugito let her tears run down her face. "Thank you, Adrien, please accept my best attack." She said as he pushed him through the windows with blue fire surrounding him. The force hit him all at once and when he opened his eyes again, he was staring into familiar blue eyes.

"Hey, Marinette! Wake up!"

And she did, but the general fuzziness of waking up suddenly confused her to no end. Wasn't she just doing something? She guessed the more pressing matter at hand was who was in her room! Looking up, she saw an older teen girl flying above her with wings coming out of her lower back. She lightly tanned skin and was rather petite…this girl really reminded her of a pixie of sorts. The pixie had an orange clip in her short, layered mint green hair that matched her eye colour, which was also orange. Her outfit consisted of a short sleeveless white midriff shirt with fishnet armor underneath, long white armlets, and fishnet shorts with a short white apron skirt over it.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my room!?" Marinette freaked out once she was aware of where she was.

"Call me Fuu. You can think of me as the protector of Luck. You know, Lucky Number 7? Big old horned beetle that you want as a partner."

"Partner?" Marinette asked before it all came rushing back to her and when she looked at herself in a nearby mirror, she saw she was dressed at Ladybug, just with out her mask. "Oh right, Naruto gave me the Seven Tailed Miraculous."

"Yep! I am here to help you accept things in your life, that way you can be the hero that you want to be." Fuu replied and she sat on the bed.

"I…I am not sure what you mean." Marinette replied, unsure of herself.

Fuu smiled at the other girl and said, "Come on girl, you know as well as I do that you help anyone who needs it. However, you often neglect yourself. That is why as Marinette, you yourself have confidence issues while Ladybug barely has any. That is one thing you have to accept, you are human, with or without the costume."

Marinette looked down at that. To the average observer, it was like a switch is hit when he is Ladybug. Truth was, she really had to psyche herself up or just not thinking about it. "It is not that easy, when I dealt with Reverser that one day, he just took all the confidence I had away. Not just my powers."

"True, nothing like this is ever easy," Fuu replied. "It took me a long time to gain any confidence as a Jinchuriki, but I am sure deal with Naruto, you know all about that. What I am say is, you don't have to do this alone. Just like how you help your friends, they too can help you, if you let them in, including Cat Noir. You need this, Marinette. Now more than ever, since you are not only the leader of your team but the guardian too. Let them all in, and you will soar high into the sky!"

"But what if I trip and fall? What if I fail them?" Marinette asked, tears welling in her eyes at the fear she felt.

"There will be times when you do fall," Fuu replied as she came over and held the girl's hands. "That is when you show them that all you have to do is get back up and try again. Let them be your pillars of strength since they have your back and you will then be their pillar of strength. You can do this, you saw how great you were in the future, just believe in yourself."

Marinette closed her eyes and smiled brightly, her form shining as well for a moment. "Right, I will do my best."

"Good." Fuu replied before a cheeky grin formed on her face. "Now onto another aspect. Love. I may not have had much time to figure that out, but I did find someone near the end. You still have plenty of time. I know it is scary, but you have to take the plunge. Your friends are behind you one hundred percent! If you can't believe in yourself for that, then believe in the people that believe in you!"

"That's a unique way of looking at that." Marinette said, blinking her eyes as she tried to comprehend that line of thinking.

"Yeah, but it works. Oh, and Marinette, try and temper your obsession with him somewhat. There are times when that can be creepy, look up what Yandere means. Never let it get THAT far." Fuu stated with a nervous chuckle as she started to fade as well. All Marinette needed was a real pep talk and a different way of viewing things. She was a strong girl.

"Thank you, I will do my best!"

"That is all I ask, but do give Adrien a break next you see him. He will be a bit different in your eyes now. Now gain the ultimate defense." Fuu replied before pushed Marinette back on the bed.

The next thing Marinette knew, she was staring a pair of very familiar emerald eyes. Upon focusing on who their eyes belonged to, both users widened them in shock. They totally did not expect the sight in front of them.

"Adrien?!"

"Marinette?!"

Neither could describe how…relieved they felt at knowing that their partner was someone they actually knew in their everyday lives. But then Marinette had two thoughts. "We just had a crisis when you knew who I was. How is this any better."

"Isn't it obvious, Marinette?" Chloe asked as she walked up behind her. "That knowledge was one sided until it was too late. It was better that you both knew at the same time, so you could better protect each other and be smart about it."

"She's right, both versions of us seemed to know who the other was, but withheld that info for one reason or another." Adrien deduced. "Wow, talk about the duality of the situation!"

Marinette laughed at that. Yup, there was no doubt now that Adrien was Cat Noir. Adrien was CAT NOIR. She has kissed Cat Noir multiple times! She kissed Adrien! That…was nice to think about. It gave her a little courage here! "I'll say! So, you don't mind it is me?"

"Are you kidding? It is great news!" Adrien cheered and he picked up the surprised girl and spun her around. "I always said you were the everyday Ladybug but to BE Ladybug, that makes all the sense in the world. Marinette, you are the kindest girl that helps everyone in their lives, hero or not. And having to gotten to know you better all this time as we hung out, it feels my heart with joy that you have been beside me this whole time.

"I feel the same way, Adrien," Marinette said softly as he took her hands in excitement, which made her giggle. "You are the most reliable guy I know….besides our ninja from another world. Despite your humor being annoying at times, I also find it enduring as you have found ways to cheer me up when I was down." Marinette looked at Adrien in the eyes and sighed. Now was the time to take that plunge. "To tell you the truth, I had hoped you were the same person for a long time. I did find myself thinking that if Adrien wasn't around, I'd have a crush on Cat Noir instead. But that thought hurt."

Adrien's eyes widened comically. "You have a crush on me?"

"Yes, for a long time actually." Marinette managed to get out nervously.

This made Adrien chuckle a bit himself before he gave her a hug. "For the longest time, I only thought of you as a friend." He did notice her flinch at little at that but continued onward. "But I have realized that my feelings for you are far stronger than that. I know because of my home life I am a little slow on the uptake." He blatantly ignored the multiple snorts at that. "So if you're willing to learn with me, would you do me the honor of at least going on a date with me?"

"YES!" Marinette cried a little too quickly and held her mouth before they both started to laugh at that. "I mean, I would love to go on a date with you."

"Great, how about in an hour. I will convince my father to let me go out tonight." Adrien replied confidently and she had to admit that was kinda hot.

"Oh my god." Carapace whined as he hugged Rena Rogue. "I can't believe it is finally happening!"

"They finally did it. I so happy!" Rena cried out. "They finally left the nest!"

Ryuko smacked her head. "Please do get sappy on me."

"Ah I see that smirk, you're happy for them." Viperion said happily as he put his arm around her shoulder and brought her in for a hug of their own.

"I don't know what you are talking about." Ryuko replied good naturedly. 'But seriously, if a certain someone starts to sing 'the lion sleeps tonight,' I am out."

Of course, that was directed at Inari who snicked. "Nah, I got something better!"

"Sorry what?" Tesla Coil replied in an exasperated tone of voice. That was when they all started to hear what sounded like different types of drums in the distance. "Oh no…"

"Okay, Okay. I see what's happening here." Inari laughed as he appeared behind the technology user, much to Mistress Slug and Honey Bee's amusement. "You're face to face with greatest change and it's strange. You don't even know how you feel It's adorable!"

"Is this really necessary?" Mairnette asked in a half annoyed, half happy tone. Come on, how could she not be excited, she finally got Adrien to go on a date with her. She should be the one singing, not Inari!

"It's nice to see the status quo finally change. Open your eyes, let's begin. Yes, it's really happening. Breath it in." Inari sang cheekily as he appeared between Ryuko and Viperion, making them finally laugh. "I know it's a lot, the boy, the girl. When you're seeing true love unfurl! What can I say except 'You're Welcome!' For your new horizons to the sky."

At this point, he temporarily de-transformed and Kurama actually sang in an almost snarky way. "Hey, it's okay, it's okay, you're welcome! He's just that helpful-nosy kinda guy!"

Naruto retransformed with a laugh. "Hey, what has held up your sky while wading through drama ye high? This guy!"

"And us!" Carapace Rena Rogue corrected. Inari clapped and pointed at them in excitement.

That seemed to be a trade-off and Rena shook her head before continuing on her own. "When the flames were dimming, who gave hope to keep them alight? That'd be me, alright!"

"Oh, I also lasso'd in the friends. You're welcome. Your supporters to the ends!" Inari sang again as he appeared near their friends as the Genie did for Aladdin. "Also, I curbed your enemies. You're welcome! To not make the dream rapidly freeze!"

"Well, come to think of it." Honey Bee started to sing as well and said join in dancing around with her boyfriend, laughing at the fun of it all. "Guys, honestly he could go on and on. He could explain every detail or none. Keeping tame the runaround, so your romance wouldn't hit the ground. He took a hit and some lumps! But better than worse speed bumps! What's the lesson? What's the takeaway? Don't mess with a couple of love sages who are on a breakaway!

Rena jumped in again with joy as she projected a sort of wall all around them that showed them everything. Every little victory or runaway when helping the two get together. "And on this tapestry wherein, is a map of victories love would win! Look where we've been, we helped nearly everything happen!"

"Look at those mean mini Inari just tippity tappin'!" Slug sang as she too got into it and saw a bunch of small Inaris dancing to the beat.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha Hey!"

"Well anyway, let me say you're welcome! For the wonderful love you'll soon know!" Inari began again. "Hey, it's okay, it's okay, you're welcome! Well come to think of it, I gotta go! Hey, it's your day to say you're welcome! 'Cause I'm quite the showboat! I'm sailing away, away! You're welcome! 'Cause Inari can do it on a gloat! You're welcome, you're welcome! And thank you!" As he sang that last part, Inari drew up his ever-trusty black hole and a wind-powered sail, which took him and Honey Bee away to another part of the city.

"He is such a dork." Marinette replied, half embarrassed and half happy that he did that.

"I have finally done it!" Hawk Moth declared as he attached the newly repaired peacock pin to his jacket and transformed into Shadow Moth. Oddly enough, he kept his normal attire and just added the peacock's designs on himself. He made it work for him.

It was a couple of nights after his son came home, happier that usual. Naturally he was curious and asked him what was going on. Adrien seemed nervous at first, then asked him how he asked his Mother out and when they did on the first date. That certainly through him for a loop and it brought back so many good memories he and Emilie shared.

After finding out that Adrien asked out Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the girl who won his hat making contest and caught the eye of Audrey, his own teacher, he felt delighted. Mostly because the girl often reminded him of his own wife. She was good for Adrien and he was proud. He had been hard on the boy, he knew that, but he was still very proud of him.

But…then same some more sadness as he remembered Emilie even more. His very being demanded he get her back, all so that she could see what a fine gentle their son had become and watch him grow up. So, he quickly fixed the Peacock Miraculous, and tonight he was going to do a test run.

He wasn't sure who he was going to use as a test run, but he didn't have to wait long and he felt a very powerful emotion. "No…not just an emotion. It is another one of Inari's Trials. I should know this feeling by now, but it does feel different. This will have to do as a test run." He said as he produced and a black butterfly and a corrupted feather. "Since these Trails have some sort of person that has passed on, I shall give new life to this Trail!"

Kurama paused as he felt a pulse in the air. One that to him signified the Final Trail and a few minutes later, both him and Naruto felt a sliver of his power out in the wild of Paris. "Kid, it is time."

Naruto grunted at that. "I see…and I was just going over to Chloe's room too. What should we expect?"

But Kurama had an uncertain look on his face. "To be honest, I don't know. What I do know is that the final bearer of my power is someone we both. After all, it is probably the reason she had no recollection of her self from our other world and even herself here."

"Mom?" Naruto asked quietly.

"Yeah…and if this goes like the others, it could act as the final stage of Grief. Acceptance." Kurama hinted but that bit of info flew past his Miraculous owner.

"Alright, I will go in quietly. No need to alert the others." Naruto stated, missing the wince that Kurama had. "Me and you, we can do this. If I can solve this final problem, then none of my friends will get hurt because of me."

A few minutes, Naruto was walking towards where the feeling of Kurama's sliver of chakra was emanating from. Right under the Eiffel Tower. As he got closer, he saw the telltale ball of red energy and a transparent person standing there. Kurama was right. They were his mother, Kushina.

"Mom?"

The figure turned to him and smiled. "My baby…I am so glad I was able to see you all grown up. I had the fear that when I was ripped from you, that this meeting wouldn't happen."

Naruto laughed a little and a few tears escape his eyes. "Me too, but I did find you in this world, you just didn't recognize me."

Kushina winced at that. Since she had died, she knew one thing, she couldn't be with her son. While others could transfer over, she probably wouldn't. At least not for a long time. It was a miracle that a part of her was already in this new world. "I am sorry I can't be there for you, but tell me, do you at least have friends? A girlfriend?"

"Yeah, Dad showed me what you wanted to tell me as part of his Trial. Even met Chloe, my girlfriend, she is just wonderful. Turns out we needed each to move on in our lives. And yes, I have been eating well. I thought I had friends in the Elemental Countries, but they were nothing compared to the people I hold dear in this world. I even got Kurama as a friend." The kwami appeared in his usual lazy fashion and he merely waved at her, but even she could tell he was nervous.

"Oh, then where are they?"

"Pardon?"

"Naruto," Kushina started, not noticing a blue feather and black butterfly floating behind her. "I can tell you are keeping them from this because the others put them in danger. It is ok to fear for their safety, but never hold them back. Friends shared all experiences, good and bad. That is how we grow and develop our bonds to be stronger. You should know that by now."

"Mom I," Naruto got out but then saw his mother double over in pain as the feather entered the core of being. "No, why is he interfering! Kurama, Tails Rise!"

In Kushina's mind, Shadow Moth chuckled darkly, not even paying attention that the person he was controlling this time was Kushina herself. He will too gleeful that he could finally test his new power out! "My My, Inari's next Trial, Acceptance. But like all spectre's your dead, let me give you a life of your own!"

"NO!" Kushina screamed out in horror. Kurama power was technically alive too, they had no idea what this would do. "STAY OUT OF THIS!"

"Defiant, are we? I won't matter, I have seen the forces of nature the Trials are, I will make sure to control you with my Akuma!" Shadow Moth roared in deranged glee as Kushina's form was covered in the usual darkness, but this time it hardened into that of a chrysalis. A cocoon to transform this power into something grander! "Transcendent, hear my command. You are here for Inari? Then fulfill your new duty, kill Inari and then give me his Miraculous and those of Ladybug and Cat Noir that will no doubt come to his aide."

For a long moment, there was nothing but silence and that was starting to irritate the man. How dare his new creation ignore him! Then he noticed three things. The full moon bled red, the veritable storm brewing high above the city, and a piercing banshee scream in his head.

The screaming became so loud, Inari heard it and started to back up from the cocoon his mother was in. "I am starting to think this was a bad idea."

"YOU THINK?!" Kurama screamed in his mind. "I wanted to believe you were smart enough to bring your friends to this, to accept their help. That was the whole point. Marinette gets this point, I am super surprised you don't!"

Naruto grimaced. Yeah, that was Fuu's lesson to Marinette or at least part of it. Seems that him wanting to keep everyone safe from his Final Trial was going to bite him in the ass. Was the cocoon getting bigger?

Indeed it was, the cocoon was growing at Kushina screamed bloody murder until it became animalistic. In a burst of red energy, the cocoon burst, but did not fully break. It merely turned to energy and expanded high above him, high above the Eiffel Tower, and expanded in all directions by several meters. What burst out of this was horrifying though. The sheer size and rapid expansion of the beast tore into the tower above it, shredding the metal landmark to pieces as they crashed all around it.

At first, it just a gigantic nine-tailed fox skeleton. Soon enough, crimson blood and energy burst all around it follow muscle fiber and fur. But none of it came in correctly. The fox's back was rotting exposed bone, part of it was exposed to show a heart beating erratically. The middle tail was the same way, sharp and deadly. One giant red eye glared down at Inari while the other rotted away in its socket. Its fur was blood, mangy, and rotten. This horrifying creature looked like a deranged zombie kyuubi and it was ready to kill him and destroy everything!

"This is…my fault…" Inari softly said as he beheld the abomination in front of him.

"OH SHIT! WORRY ABOUT THAT LATER! MOVE!" Kurama screamed in his head as his abomination roared into in the night sky, waking up all of Paris if it already wasn't. Gathering energy to each of its tails, violent balls of rotating energy collected near the tips before the blasted out in all directions with the middle tail pointed right at Inari.

Thinking quickly, he created one of his black holes and fell through it right before he was hit. Appearing on the False Tailed Beast's head, Inari beheld the destruction all around him. Those beams obliterated the ground all around him, some beams hit the barrier the cocoon had created and passed through, causing untold amounts of damages.

The city of Paris was quite literally on fire. Following many of the paths, he saw Notre Dame split in half and crumbling in on itself, another hurt to look at. The Agreste Manson was no longer there. He dared not look in the direction of his home in the hotel, his heart couldn't bare it.

Letting the tears flow for a moment, his face became twisted in anger. Anger at the situation. Rage at Hawk Moth at what he created. And Self Loathing because this was all his own fault.

Ripping his rapier out of its sheath, he transformed it into the modified version of Zabuza blade. The image of the running nine tails on it taunting him. Jumping hi above the carnage, he charged the blade of as much chakra as it could take and swung in a downward arc, the energy leaving it in a wide arc the slashed deeply into the beast. The attack showed promise in the huge trench it created in the beast's hide, but then was for naught as it stitched itself back together like nothing happened.

The beast seemed to laugh mockingly at him in it deal voice of a rage beast and the banshee scream of a dying woman as it brought down its tail to impale him as retaliation. Grimacing, Inari created as big a ball of energy as he could, forming a bright ball of swirling energy to shine on the city bat away the tail that bounced off and broke into pieces behind the beast.

Landing opposite the beast, he had to watch as the beast's tail melted on the spot and reattach itself. "Summoning Jutsu!" Inari cried out, summoning the new boss toad, Gamakichi, who seemed to have aged more.

"What hell did you bring me into!" Kichi screamed in horror at the scene before them.

"Hell." Inari replied in a deadly tone, his eye focused. "My Final Trail got hijacked. It was my mother, Kichi, Hawk Moth has twisted her into this. I need your help!"

"Then bring on the fire!" Kichi roared out as he started to produce his toad oil.

Inari nodded as he performed hand signs that Kurama had taught him. "Ghost Flame: Running Fox!" The attack did as its namesake as he breathed blue fox fire, a running fox formed and ran along the oil stream hit the undead kitsune. The flaming vulpine grew in size as it ran before slamming into the abomination, causing more horrifying scream to rip from its throat.

While Naruto fought for his life and what was left of Paris, the remaining heroes did their best to quell the panic on the streets. Cat Noir felt extremely lucky that he left his home that night to patrol because now his home was gone. He really didn't want to think how much pain his father was in before he died.

"Bee, get these people to the park, they should be safe there!" Cat ordered the Bee themed hero, who looked in horror at the beast Inari was fighting.

"BUT HE NEEDS MY HELP!" Bee cried out in distress.

"We can help him with that barrier." Cat snapped back. Ladybug and Rena Rogue already tried. It just bounced them far away. Right now, they were trying to mitigate as much of the damage at they could. He wasn't even sure if the whole team was still alive after that blitz on the city.

Honey Bee glared at him for a moment before taking a few scared kids in her arms and high tailing out of there. None of them were prepared for the second round of that tail blast.

"Damnit Bunnyx! This is still happening the way it did. They're getting slaughtered!" Chrono Rogue screamed in Bunnyx's face in the Burrow as multiple screens showed the carnage being shown all around them and she hated every second of it. "What where those small things supposed to do anyway! How were any of them going to survive this?"

Bunnyx sighed and she had a grim look of her own. "I'll admit, without outside help, the survival rate is slim. But," Shen then broke out in a huge smile. "TIME is on our side, don't you remember? Those little things were to slow change Naruto's perspective. He was always going to go in alone. I can't change that, but we can change the outcome."

"How?!" Chrono asked loudly. "From the moment that barrier came to life, he was on his own! No one can get past it! Ladybug and the others already tried that, even her Lucky Charm was useless. It just gave her a rainbow marble!"

Bunnyx smiled gently at her near hysterical partner. "You still have a lot to learn about our powers over time. We can get in the barrier no problem, remember? We'll just gather everyone before had."

"And you're fine with changing events in history like that?" Chrono asked incredulously.

Bunnyx smirked. "It was meant to be that they all survive this, remember? Now, let's gather the heroes!"

Future Alix and Manon walked up to a small café that Adrien and Marinette were at, just finishing their second date…the evening before the event of doom. "I knew you two would make a cute couple," Alix replied cheekily as they walked up to them.

Marinette looked panicked at seeing them in this timeline. That mean something went wrong write?! "What are you both doing here. I swear we didn't do anything stupid that would lead to a time split…right?!"

Future Manon snorted. "One of those was enough, thank you. We aren't here for that. We've come to pick you up. Naruto's life is at stake."

At that, the teens stiffened up and put on serious faces. "What's happened?" Marinette demanded as they all walked away to a safer place to talk. They ended up on a rooftop near the Eiffel Tower.

"Despite you learning your lesson, he did not. The Final Trial is underway in this area." Bunnyx supplied once they were in a safe place and transformed.

"Hmm, usually his Trials are a lot more noticeable." Cat Noir pointed out. It was almost too peaceful.

Chrono Rogue gained an irritated look. "Think Cat Noir, Think! We are time travelers!"

"So this is happening in the future and you want our help now." Ladybug deduced; a bit put off by the panic in Chrono's eyes.

"Correct, there is just no other way to help him, you tried to get in the barrier that separated you," Bunnyx replied, making them gulp. "Alright, let me get Chloe, Alya, and Nino. Chrono Rogue will take you in first while I get the others."

A moment later, Chloe appeared out of a portal, looking worried. "Look I don't know what time it is right now, but it was night time a few seconds ago. Bunnyx mentioned we have to help Naruto?"

A second later, both Alya and Nino popped out of a portal. "Yeah, something about his Final Trial going wrong," Alya said worriedly.

"That's the understatement of the year." Chrono Rogue spat. "You three, suit up. Ladybug, Cat Noir, I'd add those two new Miraculous you got."

Both teens blinked rapidly at that. Wow, if they require that much extra firepower, then Naruto really must be in some deep shit. Nodding, Marinette had Chomei and Tikki synchronize. The result was her getting very durable armor over her normal suit and a small ladybug shell on her back that immediately opened up to give her 6 wings and a tailed made up of thousands of ladybugs and other beetles. She also noticed that her yo-yo enlarged and had a golden ring around it. On closer inspection, that ring was a very sharp blade. Not only that, but it then split in half with one side attaching to her other arm to form a golden scarab shield, much like her hairpin. It seemed her new form relied heavily on defense.

Cat Noir synchronized Matatabi and Plagg next. The little cat didn't complain for once because he knew how serious that was. Their friends were in trouble and he would not lose more. Cat Noir's suit morphed and took on properties of a butler's suit or just a fancy suit in general, giving him a more suave look. The shoulders of said suit were on fire with blue and black fire constantly wavering. The coat tails became two actual tails with blue and black fire at the ends to replace the lone bet tail. The whites of his eyes that were normally green as Cat Noir were now cobalt blue with the emerald green irises over them. Finally, he noticed that his staff was longer naturally and made of harder metals that were actually resistance to heat and fire because it now acted like a flaming blue spear. "This fiery cat needs a new name, how about Chat Feu? Oh, and you could be Lucky Bug."

"Decide on the names later!" Chrono yelled, losing her patience before using her scythe and tearing a hole in time, one that they all could see clearly and it did not look pretty.

Inari growled angrily as he stared up at the horrifying beast. It had wounded Kichi and send him crashing into the barrier. Their last few attacks didn't help much. The only attack that helped was the use of his purifying blue flame. It had actually weakened the beast, but not by much.

"Laugh it up you freak." he grumbled when said beast did so mockingly. That last volley of tail blasts nearly killed him. It was only thanks to his magical suit that he was still alive, but parts of his attire were either ripped up or just gone, like his left sleeve that showed off a steaming arm. This thing was on another level and Kurama was actually impressed. Another warning did come from his partner though. The undead fox was gearing up for the third round of those tail lasers!

And they were all pointed at him this time!

In rapid succession, they all barrel at him and his wait for the pain, only it never came. Opening his eyes, he saw a huge golden shield with Lucky Bug blocking at the beams with effort while Carapace used his own shield around them to make sure if anything got past her shield, they wouldn't be hit.

He thought no one could get through the barriers. How did they get here!

"NOW CHAT FEU!" Lucky Bug screamed. He touched down in front of her as the shield shrank down to carrying size and thrust his spear into the abomination's face.

"HELLFIRE SPEAR!" The result was a flare of blue and black fire that sheer the head off the beast, much like how Donald Duck from Kingdom Hearts blasted Terranort away from Sora.

With its head gone, it fell down in a great crash.

"You just bought us some time, it regenerates quickly." Inari informed them.

"OH COME ON" Chat Feu roared. "I just set up that Nick of Time pun and you use that instead?!"

"Sorry, I've been a bit on edge lately." Inari apologized before Honey Bee slapped his face.

"Chloe?"

"YOU SHOULD BE SORRY!" Honey Bee cried. "You went on this Trial alone! I thought we had our backs! I can't lose you! I love you too much!"

"See kid, they all came for you. You're not alone and you do not have to defend them alone like the people of Konoha did to you. Here, you have true precious people. So, fight with them and don't hold back!" Kurama stated within his mind, trying his best to bring out the full power of his Miraculous user.

Inari silently hugged Honey Bee while Chat Feu looked at the beast warily as it was starting to rumble a bit. "You're right, I shouldn't have done this alone. I was too afraid I'd be losing you. Funnily enough, my Mom scolded me about that."

"Your mom was here?!" Honey Bee shouted astounded. It made sense though. His father was a part of one Trial. So why couldn't his mother? "Where is she?"

"Um…that thing." Inari sighed as the beast's head rapidly regenerated, much to their disgust.

"We'll thank Hawk Moth later." Lucky Bug declared with rage in her eyes. How dare Hawk Moth do this to her friend's mother! She would be absolutely livid if that happened to her mom! "For now, we need to be on defense!"

"But what is it down exactly?!" Rena Rogue asked, noticing that the tails were charging up again, but this time, they were acting differently.

"Oh…" Inari replied with a pale face. "Kurama just said that it is gearing up for something worse…a Tailed Beast Bomb…that could level Paris."

"Um…um…LUCKY CHARM!" Lucky Bug shouted in panic after hearing that. Right now they needed all the lucky they could get! However, all she got there three small items. A heart plushie, a rainbow, and one of those Shuriken that Inari uses sometimes and it baffled her because also she saw in her special vision was Naruto and the Beast being highlighted

"DUDES! LOOK OUT!" Carapace roared as he threw his shield up again because the energy ball above them was massive! He didn't know if his little shield could stand up to that, but he wasn't about to give up!

Then….the massive ball shrunk in size to that of a basketball, throwing them off guard a bit. How was this some sort of bomb? They were even more confused when the monster ate it before cratering the ground with its body. Lucky Bug enlarged her shield again just as the beast opened its mouth and roared out a massive beam of concentrated energy at them.

"VOYAGE!"

It never hit them thanks to the quick use of a portal thrown up by Pegasus. "RETURN FIRE!" He shouted as another portal appeared above the monster fox and its own attack blasted the fox into the ground, screaming out in pain.

"Did you really think you were alone?!" Chrono Rogue laughed as multiple burrow portals opened up, letting the other heroes walk out epically. It wasn't just the local Miraculous users either. Every single hero that they have met so far, posed atop the broken buildings or hovered in the sky, ready for a fight.

Inari was speechless. He expected to die in this battle for his foolish mistake of going in alone. But here everyone was. He looked at his friends all around him as the beast paused in its attack to growl at the newcomers. This was more than what he could have imagined back in the ninja world. Here, people cared.

"See, you're not alone." Honey Bee stated as she held his hand tightly and gave a light kiss. "You just have to accept us…fully."

Naruto sniffed a bit and he wiped his tears away with a big smile. "I do, I accept all of you." He gave Chloe and tight hug and then announced to all of the assembled heroes. "HEROES! LET'S GET WILD!"

The heroes all roared out their battle cries and the false-tailed beast angrily roared back at them in defiance. It many tailed defending against the attack and it using them against the heroes in retaliation. Majestia even swung in and batted the undead creature away a few times before she was punted away because of the magic used to create the fox. Still, she came back to punch the thing's face in.

"Bug, I think I know what your Lucky Charm was trying to tell us." Inari said, catching her attention and the people around them too.

"WHAT?!"

"Yeah, we strike the heart, whenever I hit it with something big, part of it would defend the chest now that I think about it. We need to restrain it and either blow out the chest or the back. Leave the rest to me."

"GOT IT!" The heroes declared as one that heard and soon like a wildfire, the plan was relayed to everyone.

Except the fox was not happy and it raged another volley of tail beams in one direction, theirs. Thankfully, a little tune from Rena Rogue….and a Second Chance from Viperion, the group before it disappeared in an illusion, making it roar out in rage as it went after other groups.

Mistress Slug flew in on her bubble, blowing huge acid bubbles that popped like bombs against the beast.

Ryuko drowned the beast with torrents of water and then electrocuted it.

Lucky Bug had the brilliant idea of enlarging her shield again and falling on the creature's back before enlarging her Chakram Yo yo and slicing off many of the tails while many of the other heroes restrained them as best they could to keep them from reattaching in the chaos. Tesla Coil and his giant mech were able assist in that, even using a form of lightning restraint However, it was the middle tail, the giant bone tail that gave them the most problem as it was bigger and more defiant. Majestia took point on holding the thing back.

"My turn." Chrono Rogue declared as she calmly walked up to the weaken beast. Lifting her arms slowly above her head, the ground shook underneath the beast as Silver Sand exploded upwards and wrapped around the limbs, restraining it and forcing it to its knees and pulled its arms back, exposing the chest.

"Bee! Catch!" Lucky Bug shouted to a running Honey Bee, who was about to use venom to fully freeze it in place. Marinette desynchronized and threw the 7 Tailed Miraculous to the blond girl.

"Right, Synchronize!" Chloe shouted as she took on her own armored form. While she too had a shield, she combined it with her estoc, creating a golden lance that was twice her size and took up her whole arm. "Queen's Final Order!" Chloe, now as Lucky Bee, called out her new power before she shined brightly and a regal looking golden helmet form on her head. Using her wings to propel her forward, she slammed the lance into the beast's chest. First, it pierced the chest, the golden then transferred over to the beast and completely froze it, even the tails. Finally, the lanced disintegrated the up part of its boney back. Pulling back, she revealed that there was now a huge hole through the beast and she had an even shredded part of the heart, that was glowing with the angry energy of Kurama, the Peacock, and the Butterfly. Of course, it was still slowly healing. It was the only thing she could not fully stop.

"Inari, wait!" A familiar voice called out to him before he could prepare his final attack amid the chaos. Looking up, Inari saw Uncanny Valley flying in, Eagle in her arms.

"Aeon? Eagle? What's up?" Inari asked curiously. He hadn't seen Aeon and Jess in a bit.

Eagle smirked. "I am here to free you. LIBERATION! Inari, I free you of all restraints you have on your being and powers. Use all the bonds and powers you have for the final blow!"

For a moment, nothing happened, but the battlefield seemed to calm down as every single hero, even the ones that Naruto barely interacted with, glowed with a bright energy, each a different color. Lucky Bee walked up to Inari with a certain sway in her hips and smirk. "You've got this, I believe in you wholeheartedly." She said as she put a hand over his heart and kiss him. The effects were instant after that as all the lights from the heroes shot to him in a maelstrom of multicolored bright lights and power. Very soon, Inari himself began to glow. His suit repair itself as the trench coat when from red to golden energy, his hat taking on the form of Kurama's head, and the waves of his trench coat split off into golden energy tail with ghostly blue fire encircling the tip. "Kid, in this form, you are my Golden Knight. Give that cheap imitation the end it deserves!"Kurama's voice boomed out like he was the giant fox he was back in the elemental nations, showing off that this power was them truly working together.

"I'll do more than that! This ends your Trials and frees my mother!" Inari declared as he took Lucky Bee in won arm while outstretching his other arm in front of him. The raging maelstrom collected at a single point in front of him, showing off his new look. His tailed them wrapped around them and the ghostly blue fire and energy was added in, making the power hum. Lift his arm upwards, he activated a certain seal that shaped the power even further, and soon, the bell-like screech was heard as a very large Rasenshuiken was formed. "Checkmate!"

"Oh yeah." Lucky Bee whispered into his ear as she held on tight to him with a little drool coming out of her mouth. "We are so getting it on tonight!"

Inari just smirked through the massive blush on his face and threw the attack. It arced as it tore a trail in the ground before flying upward into the False Kyuubi's chest. But it didn't stop, it lifted the beast high into the air, basically ignoring all the restraint it had on it and in a bright flash of multicolored light, it blew up in a sphere of power and wind. The heart and Beast, were annihilated!

Kurama's power and Kushina's ghost were freed from the influence of Shadow Moth's Amok and Akuma once and for all!

A moment later, the power surrounded Inari and Lucky Bee on the ground in a sphere, blocking everything from view. It felt pure. There was no ill intent to this energy.

Ladybug sighed in relief. They had won. It took a lot of effort, but they won. They saved one of their own from a monster that would have been his undoing. "I guess now, we fix Paris. I just hope people will recover from this one."

"Give it time. They will." Chat Feu replied with a gentle smile as he looked at the girl he fell in love with.

"Of course they will, He did give everyone fair warning that the Trials were dangerous…but Hawk Moth showed everyone that he could just be as dangerous, if not more to cause this mess." Bunnyx stated as she leaned on Chrono Rogue playfully. "They are going to want him taken down even more now, trust me on that."

"As the U. S President once said, put those Super Hero Cleaning Lady's powers to good use." Chrono chortled out.

For once, Ladybug wasn't offended by the comment. This time was a must! MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" She cried out after throwing the lucky charms she got in to the air. This time, the swarm of ladybugs was massive as it originated from that spot and spread outward, incasing in a massive sphere of red before everything was right again. Even the heroes that belonged overseas, were safely returned home. The only heroes left were the local Miraculous heroes.

In the sphere with Naruto and Chloe, the pair were greeted by the angelic sight of Kushina Uzumaki smiling proudly at him. "Naruto, you did it. You accepted all that you needed in your life. If I was alive, I'd have beaten that concept into your head long ago!"

Both blonds laughed uncomfortably at that.

Kushina came over and enveloped her son in a hug that he actually felt. At first, he was taken aback by that and then grey teary-eyed. He held on tightly to the mother he had always wanted to meet. He had gotten his earliest wish.

"I am sorry I couldn't be there growing up for you. I was so happy at the news that I was pregnant with you." Kushina softly said before backing off a bit with a frown. "Because of this trial, I wasn't able to reincarnate properly like a few of the others had. Sure, mine and Minato's bodies were here, but we couldn't connect. Still, I am happy we got to see you all grown up!"

"I was here for him, just as he had been for me. Your son is wonderful." Chloe said as she held on to his arm and smiled at the woman.

"Ah, so you're the famous Chloe I heard about, god your beautiful! I approve!" Kushina shouted happily with a clap. Then a mischievous smirk formed on her lips, something that both blonds knew all too well. "While I may not have come when I was most needed, I am sure I can come back in another way. So be sure to give me lots of grandbabies! It would be funny if Minato or I happened to be one!"

"Mom!" Naruto groaned out in embarrassment.

Chloe didn't mind though, she just smiled warmly at the happy woman before kissing Naruto's cheek. "You won't have to worry about that, I plan to! We often spend time in the sack, making love!" Chloe pulled him in for a loving kiss and whispered, "And if you are a good boy, I might invite someone for a threesome, some girls really want you too."

"Chloe!"

Kushina grin deviously with a blush of her own. "Oh, you just are like you father, Naruto. You have yourself a wonderful woman! Heh!" Then her smile softened as she felt herself and the energy around her fade. "Please take care of each other! I love you!"

As she faded away, Inari could stop the tears that fell down his face. They weren't tears of sadness. They were tears of joy. In a way, he felt complete.

Shadow Moth lay on his back in his lair in a near-catatonic state. He died and through the power of the Miraculous Cure, he was able to come back. But still…he DIED! One doesn't immediately just snap back from that!

"This first run with both the Butterfly and the Peacock…was a complete success." Hawk Moth laughed a little to himself, a hint of madness in his eyes. He slowly got back up to see the clear night skies and sighed. "The power these two can create is immense, but I must learn to control it better. I learned that from this loss…and that the Ladybug Miraculous is far stronger than it lets on if it can restore lives. I must have it, but I must be more clever than Inari from now on. You heroes enjoy your win, I have more plans now." After he said that, his lair was filled it maniacal laughter.

Sabine walked around Master Fu's old abode as Naruto and Marinette walked in, feeling a bit nostalgic as they wandered around. "There was a reason I call you two here since we are the guardians of our boxes, I thought it right."

"Mom? What's going on?"

"Nothing major dear," Sabine replied, "Before Fu passed on the guardianship, he told me that he was not going to live here anymore. He told me that he was giving this place to Naruto to live in if he so chooses, btu I doubt that will happen. I brought you here to this place, to tell you that and that I think it would be a wonderful base or clubhouse for you all. He does own the whole building after all."

"I see," Naruto said as he walked around. He did remember that there were multiple levels to this house. The basement could be a great base of operations. "We'll little bug, I think we have a bright future ahead of us."

Ok, I have to end this here. That is the end of season 3 for me. Massive Fight with possible future powers. After watching Avengers Endgame, I had to include a scene similar to the Portal Scene. What better way that have Chrono Rogue and Bunnyx bring in many heroes, some from other times. I didn't plan a lemon for this chapter…I didn't think of that idea until the end. So next time with a hint I provided for later fun times. Also, the Golden Knight form is a prelude to his ultimate power as Kurama's Owner. Not to mention when he puts on all the Miraculous as once...but that is a story for another time

Now, this is it for the time being UNTIL season 4 is done and I know what the hell is going on. When I do return with this story, I am going to open with that Shanghai movie. While it was supposed to come out in season 2, it came to us all for season 4, of course, I will have to alter a few things.

That being said, I have other projects I am working on.

I COULD do a reaction story as well to this. Not sure if I should do it or have someone else do it with their perspective. Benjadx1, Dragon Sage God, and a few others are curious about it.
