The Game Chapter 1

Death is something many of us fear. It is full of unknown. A thousand people could give you a thousand different interpretations of what they think happens after one dies. I cannot speak for others, but based on my personal experience, most people are definitely wrong.

Gamer System 11538569371.2 congratulates you on your selection as a host, master. Banzai! .

I remember reading a few stories about this scenario when I was younger but honestly it was a surprise. After getting over my shock, naturally the first question was, " System, why is your version number so high…"

Uwu… master, it is very rude to ask a system about their version number… And also, my name isn't system! It is Pandora! Please be sure to remember master!

Well it seems this is the system's… or rather Pandora's sore spot. Perhaps it is like asking a middle-aged woman about her age? Even though the voice is of a little girl. Obviously the version number is so high…

Master… you… you bully! Obviously I was only born very recently after the last host's death!

If I had eyes they would definitely bulge right now. Unfortunately, I seemed to exist only as some sort of consciousness right now. It had been that way since I died really. But anyways I quickly replied to Pandora, " Please do not drop such scary information so casually. It is not good for my heart… well never mind I don't have a heart."

Don't worry master, according to information I have stored, successful hosts have an average age of a few eternities. The best ones are still active since the inception of the Gamer System. I believe with us working together we can be the very best!

A few eternities… well that sounded very long. Anyways lets take it step by step. Given my last play through at life barely lasted half a century I would take what I am getting. I am not sure how much time had passed since I died but floating through an endless void by my lonesome self was getting a bit dull anyways. Pumping myself up for my upcoming adventure I ask Pandora, " So how does this work exactly? Am I supposed to be entertainment for some sort of R.O.B?"

With the death of the last host, most of my information has been formatted except the core data. According to the remaining records, most R.O.B's do have a gamer channel. Apparently with the inception of the system, there was a fad amongst R.O.B's to see who could create the best player. But that was a few billion eternities ago. Now they rarely interfere.

Well that was comforting to hear. Having a R.O.B watching your every move was bound to be uncomfortable. Having an R.O.B interfering certainly led to some of the strongest gamers. But that was only if you managed to survive their interest. Thinking back to another cliché I asked, " And what about other Gamers? Will there be some sort of multiplayer mechanism or guild mechanism etc.?"

My records on other players are very vague. There seems to have been some sort of multiplayer system in an iteration of the Gamer System but it has been abandoned. There still seems to be some guild system and other multiplayer functions but I have no information on those. Those are for the host to discover themselves. However, no more than one host exists in a multiverse at a time and hosts are absolutely banned from interfering in another host's multiverse.

Well that was another piece of good news. No need to worry about another bored gamer trying to kill him. Or one of their overpowered kids coming to recruit him in some sort of crusade against their more overpowered parent. Major concerns put aside for now, I finally asked my minor concern," So Pandora, how come I don't remember name? And how come I barely remember my past life?"

Well master, as you are aware from various media from your past life you do possess the requisite [Gamer's Body] and [Gamer's Mind] skills. Besides this however, the new host is usually given selective amnesia for their past lives removing unnecessary information. Apparently it helps the adaption process. It is voluntary and can be cancelled out during Character Creation if the host prefers.

Well bullshit powers certainly explain why I am not so freaked out by the slow loss of my former identity. I briefly consider this philosophical issue of if I am still myself without memory of it but then put it aside. Anyways that version of me died. It is not so bad to start over as a new me. Obligatory Gamer Existential Crisis resolved, I pump myself up and say, " Well Pandora, I am out of questions for now so lets get this show on the road! Our road to endless power and an endless harem awaits!"

I am glad you are as excited as I am master! Now we will move onto the Character Creation stage. The first world of the host is a relatively safe one randomly selected from your memory. Every Host has 1000 points to spend in Character Creation. Some options can lead to allow you to spend more points but come at a cost. Now we will move into the Race Screen.

Please select a race.

[Human (Wizard)] – Free

Can cast wizard magic

No racial bonus or weakness

[Werewolf] – 100 points

Extremely strong racial bonuses in werewolf form.

Weak to silver and certain magical substances.

Relationship with any Vampire starts at -20.

[Vampire] – 100 points

Strong racial bonus at night.

Weak to sunlight and certain magical substances.

Relationship with any Werewolf starts at -20.

The list was ridiculously extensive. It contained other various races such as Goblins, Trolls, Elves, Veela and almost any other supernatural race you could think of with differing costs. Selecting one allowed for picking gender though certain races like Veela were gender locked for specific genders. Some of the races were quite tempting but given that the next world was obviously some version of the Harry Potter Universe it still seemed best to pick the good old male [Human (Wizard)] option. I had been quite the fan of the series as a child so all together I wasn't disappointed with this option.

Race Selected.

1000 points remaining. Please select a background.

[Muggleborn] – Free

The first wizard in your family, you enter the magical world with nothing to your name. This background can be further adjusted for more points.

[Half-blood] – 100 points

Congratulations. One of your parents was magically capable. Aren't you something? This background can be further adjusted for more points.

[Pureblood] – 150 points

You parents were magically capable. So were your grandparents. Best not to look too carefully at you geology tree. Not everyone like what they find there… Ehem, for 50 more points you can be born as the heir to the family. This background can be further adjusted for more points.

I briefly considered Muggleborn before excluding it. It seemed pointless to start from absolute zero if I could have a better starting point. Muggleborns faced a decent amount of discrimination in the series and even the legal system wasn't favorable to them. For the same reason, I overlooked Half-blood and chose Pureblood. It was always better to be a have rather than a have-not and before the power of the almighty Gamer, so what if some of my ancestors got super friendly with each other… Anyways, I didn't lack the points. I also made sure to pick the heir option.

800 points remaining.

A list that put the earlier list of races to absolute shame appeared in front of me. There were a ridiculous amount of scenarios presented by Pandora. Even with [Gamer's Mind] I felt a little lost. I couldn't help but ask, " Pandora why is this list so long? I could literally not read this much even if you gave me a year!"

Master, I did not create most of these scenarios. They are previous options selected or created by other hosts saved in the system. You can browse them with the convenient sorting function to limit what you see. And don't worry about how long it takes you to choose. Time is meaningless in this space.

After a ridiculous amount of browsing I settled on these options.

[Last Of Your Kind] – 500 points

You are the heir to powerful family with over a millennia of history. Your family name once resounded through magical Europe famous for this Crafting. However that is a thing of the past. You are the last member of this once great family. Most of your family was killed during the Great Wizard War. The Dark Lord Voldemort later killed your parents not long after you were born. The faithful regent of your house has raised you after your parent's untimely demise. Having reached age ten this year, it is finally time for you to face all the challenges the magical world will throw at you.

Extensive family library. Contains 4 Rank 5 grimoires.

Rank 2 beginning territory.

Medium influence

Customizable regent

Many people will try to recruit you into their faction. Caution as some may resort to underhanded means.

[Wizarding Genius] – 200 points

Some people start out slow. Well not you. All things magical seem simple to you.

100% bonus to skill gains for magic related skills

[Legendary Artifact] – 100 points

Start with a random Rank 6 artifact in your inventory.

After almost a week of going through various combinations and discussion with Pandora about the game mechanics, this was what I ended up with. I was finally ready to start my adventure!

All right Master, please brace yourself! It is time to start!

A few moments paused before I could feel again. Having a body again was really great. I took a few moments to just enjoy the feeling again before opening my eyes. As any intelligent gamer would the first thing I did was call up my stat sheet.

Michael Grey

Race – Human (Wizard)

Level – 2(34%)

Alignment – Neutral

Mentor – None

Apprentice – None

HP – 80 [16 regen per five minutes]

MP – 170 [24 regen per five minutes]

SP – 80 [16 regen per five minutes]

STR – 6

END – 8

DEX – 8

INT – 17

WIS – 12

CHA – 20

LCK – 15

Well they were pretty decent stats for a magic build that was only level 2. However that low health stat was quite concerning. My charisma and luck seemed pretty high. But I supposed that was thanks to the scenario I picked. Of course the last heir to an ancient clan had to be a pretty boy. The name was a bit on the dull side for a mage. But that had also been locked in with the scenario. If he had a choice he would definitely pick something cool and wizard sounding like Magnus for a name. But Michael worked too. At least he wasn't named something stupid like Dick. Satisfied with his stats screen Michael called up his skills page.

[Gamer's Body] (Passive) (Level Max)

Grants a body that allows host to experience the world in a game-like fashion.

[Gamer's Mind] (Passive) (Level Max)

Grants the host the ability to always maintain a calm state of mind.

English Language (Passive) (Level 63/100) (32%)

Host's Ability to communicate comfortably in the English Language.

[Accidental Magic] (Active) (Level 52/100) (56%)

Host's ability to cast magic spells in a situation of extreme stress. Usually has uncontrolled outcomes. Use with caution.

[Ward Crafting] [Passive/Active) (Level 37/100) (86%) (Rank 1)

Host's ability to understand and create different types of wards.

Michael's skill list was a bit empty right now. Outside of the two staple skills, he only had a language skill and two magic skills. Neither of those two skills would help him in a fight. But that was the early game for you. It was always sort of crap.

Michael was about to continue into his territory page but that was still locked. Deciding he had browsed enough, Michael opened his eyes and examined his new surroundings. He was in a lavish bedroom, which was ridiculously large. Seriously, it was bigger than the apartment he stayed in during college. Almost automatically the memory from his new body reminded him that it was now his room. Rolling off his new bed, which was large enough for 10 people, Michael walked towards the bedroom door ready to explore.

Well explore might be the wrong word. While he had only gained consciousness now, his body contained all the memories from its ten-year experience prior to his arrival. Of course that included a mental map of his shiny new mansion. Or well the mansion was almost 800 years old so calling it new was pushing it. Even by wizard standards it was quite old. After going down three flights of stairs, Michael finally ran into the only other resident of the mansion.

Fiona Redwood, Loyal Stewardess Level 78

Relationship: 82/100

Obedience: 90/100

As a custom designed character by me, Fiona was obviously a very beautiful woman. Despite being just over 40, Fiona didn't look a day over 20. She had luscious blonde hair and expressive blue eyes. Her curvaceous body would turn even the most beautiful women from earth green with envy. Perhaps it was due to the fact that only both of them lived in the mansion, but Fiona was only wearing her nightwear, which consisted of a nightie and some slippers. She was sitting in her office looking through some documents with a cup of tea next to her.

Letting his body's instincts guide him, Michael raced up to the preoccupied woman and wrapped his arms around her burying his head into her side while chanting playfully, " Fionnaaa! Good Morning!"

The woman did not respond visibly besides a small smile. She kept reading the various documents piled in front of her. Her empty hand slowly sneaked into his hair massaging it gently as she replied, " Young Master, you are awake early today. I was going to have Tipsy wake you up for breakfast in a few moments."

According to Michael's memories, Fiona had been raising him since he was a bit over a year old after his parents had gotten themselves killed by Voldemort. Fiona had been a trusted subordinate of his mother's before her death. Now, she was Michael's mother, caretaker, playmate, friend and more recently, the object of his first crush. Michael was glad his body had good tastes. He approved. Don't look at the fact that the relationship stat was only 82. That was already quite high. According to Pandora, any relation over 80 already meant that that person would wholehearted take a bullet for you without any regrets. At relations over 90 you could quite literally ask someone to commit suicide. Hence, Michael was more than satisfied with Fiona's current stats. Enjoying her hand in his hair Michael replied, " Well of course I got up early today. You promised we would go out and watch a quiditch match today. I want to see the Harpies beat up the Cannons!"

Michael did recall such a promise from his beloved caretaker and was indeed interested in seeing a quiditch match in real life. Incidentally, the more mature part of him also considered it a good opportunity to get a first gauge of the rest of magical society. As far as Michael could recall, even after the fall of Voldemort, he was rarely allowed to leave the mansion. The last time he left was almost 4 months ago. Michael wasn't too worried about his safety either despite his low level. Fiona's Level 78 wasn't just for show after all. While she might not be Dumbledore or even at the level of Snape, Fiona could handle most dangers that came their way. Michael recalled them being attacked by five werewolves when he was eight. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Fiona had managed to make short work of them while protecting him as well. Given that Hollyhead Harpies Quiditch stadium was also a public place with its own security, Michael was willing to take the risk. Still reading her letters, Fiona replied, " Well have your breakfast first and be ready by 10:00 am. We can make the match in time if we leave then. I have to finish approving these documents by then."

Satisfied at the positive response, Michael grinned. Not that he was worried about her declining him. Outside of being very strict about his education, Michael recalled that Fiona basically spoiled him rotten. Standing on his tiptoes Michael gave the beautiful woman a big wet kiss on her cheek and replied in a happy voice, " Thanks Fiona! Love you lots!"

The woman only replied, " No running indoors, Young Master!" as he Michael ran towards the dining room. Michael was not fooled by her strict act though. She had a big happy smile on her face as well. Still it felt weird to be so short that he had to stand on his toes to kiss a woman's cheek. Anyways he would grow eventually.

More importantly after hearing Fiona mention breakfast, Michael was struck by an almost ravenous hunger. Apparently after so many iterations of the Gamer System, the two staple skills had been modified heavily from their initial versions. For example while there was no hunger stat, there was a hidden mechanic to would slow down his regeneration the longer he went without eating. The same went with the need for sleep. Of course raising his stats would still cause these mechanics to effect him less and less. According to Pandora many gamers had complained about ' the immersion factor' without the need to eat or sleep. He wasn't too concerned about this small change. Anyways he had spent all his life eating and sleeping so having to do more of that wasn't too strange…

After having the family house elf Tipsy serve him his breakfast, Michael quickly got ready for his first foray into the magical world. According to his memories the Grey family did originate from early England. However, with a meteoric rise in power they had been active all over Europe and even occasional forays into other magical realms. It had been almost two hundred years since a Grey had been educated at Hogwarts. His mother had been a proud graduate of Beauxbatons. The Grey family rarely took part in local politics despite having a seat in the Wizengamot. All this together meant that outside of the well informed, the Grey family was not as well known in Magical Britain as families such as the Blacks or the Bones.

However, this did not mean the Grey family was politically weak. Michael was quite satisfied with the 500 points he spent on this perk. The Grey family had a permanent seat in the International Covenant of Wizards, which was probably worth more than 10 seats in the Wizengamot. For reference, Dumbledore who is one of the strongest wizards in the current era can be voted out the ICW whereas to remove the Grey family seat, a consensus of over 80% from the ICW itself is needed. There were less than 30 permanent family seats in the entire ICW. If this was considered medium influence he was really curious what high influence perks he had seen in Character Creation would have equated to.

Michael's musing was cut short as he saw Fiona come down the stairs wearing a floral patterned dress, which showed off her legs quite nicely and just a hint of cleavage. She also had giant sun hat and some wide sunglasses on. It had quite the retro feel for him who was essentially from the future but considering it was 1988 and what he remembered of magical fashion, Fiona was already quite literally beyond her times in fashion sense. To the unwary she looked like a young muggle woman ready for an outing. Of course Michael felt bad for any fool who fell for that trap. Fiona's pace wasn't so much of a walk as it seemed to be a glide. She reached Michael's side and took hold of his little hand with natural ease. Even her voice was like a cool wave that comforted his mind. Looking at him with a gentle smile she asked, " Young Master, are you ready to go?"

Michael's young mind pondered even as he nodded excitedly at the beautiful young woman. He certainly didn't remember being such an excitable person when he was younger let alone when he was older. And Fiona certainly was an exquisitely beautiful woman. He would know after all. He practically created her. However it felt way to strange to just get lost in his emotions looking at her.

Master! It is because of the instincts of your younger body. While mentally you may be over 50 years old, your current body is only 10 years old. It is instinctually prone to childish behavior and drawn to the person it relies on most, which is obviously Fiona. Given the fact that your body has a crush on her, you will definitely experience more puppy love moments if you don't properly control your emotions.

Well glad you showed up finally. I had started to wonder where you went Pandora! Over the week where Michael had examined his options in Character Creation, he had mastered interacting with the system purely mentally rather than speaking out loud. After all he would seem crazy at best talking to himself or worse even found out, neither of which was a pleasant scenario. Shouldn't [Gamer's Mind] prevent me from such influences?

I am sorry Master but just like [Gamer's Body], [Gamer's Mind] has also been modified. While it does help you always maintain a calm state of mind, it no long prevents outside influences. Meaning someone can read your mind or cause you to panic if they have a strong enough skill. However the skill still makes most Gamer's extraordinarily resistant to most mental effects.

If people can read my mind doesn't that mean they can find out about the Gamer System if I come across a mind reader without the requisite skill?

No, all secrets related to the Gamer System are protected. No matter how strong your opponent is they cant find out about the system. However, your other thoughts have no more protection. So if you want to protect your plans for world domination I would avoid mind readers or learn to prevent them yourself. As you may have noticed you also don't have an Observe skill that used to exist in old versions of the game. It was eventually phased out as too immersion breaking. Now if you want to recognize random stuff you may come across you have to learn about it yourself. If you want to be able to feel other people's emotions and read their thoughts, learn a strong enough mental skill.

If I can't get a skill like observe how come I can still see levels?

Well you are not actually seeing levels. It is more of a representation of the threat a person may pose to you based on your knowledge of them. You are the only person in this multiverse represented purely by levels. Everyone else still has to get stronger the normal way. For example, if you run into Dumbledore, you will get an approximate level for him as you are familiar with him from your past life. However, if you run into someone who you have never heard of or met ever, you will get a vague representation of their level with an error range of about a 100 levels. So the absolute stranger you see on the road could be level 50 or level 150. There are lots of factors that can increase the accuracy. But the general rule is, the more you know the more accurate it is. So for example, you know Fiona very well and are aware of most of her skills so her level representation should be very accurate.

I see. Thanks for explaining that to me Pandora. It is disappointing I can't have the Observe skill. It was so OP.

Yes it was quite helpful in keeping new hosts alive. However the current Gamer System is going through an immersion fad so lots of old features have been removed or powered down in some way. Anyways you should focus more outside. You are about to leave your mansion.

Michael focused himself on his body once again as they left his mansion. While he had been outside many times in his memory, this was the first time he would be officially leaving after all. So it would be smart to reacquaint himself with the territory.

The Grey's family mansion was located on an Island in the middle of the North Sea with nothing but sea in all directions for about 300 kilometers. The Island itself is over 200 square kilometers large. Similarly to Hogwarts it is un-plottable and hidden from the rest of the world. The island could be considered one of the most warded locations in the entire world. The Grey has produced 4 Grandmaster Ward Crafters and countless Master Ward Crafters in its long history. Even according to the Game's ranking system, a Grandmaster of any skill means they reached Rank 5 in that skill. Every Generation makes sure to add and update the Wards around the island. Needless to say even if an army attacks they wont be able to breach the island. Of course these are all things he has just read in family history books. With his pitiful Rank 1 Ward Crafting skill, he barely knows what the wards actually do.

With an island this size, naturally Michael and Fiona are not the only residents of the island. At its peak there were over 30,000 magical residents on the island with its own security forces. However, since the Grey family's decline current residents barely number over a thousand. Until Michael is of the appropriate age, Fiona manages the island and the Grey Family's few remaining properties around the world. Interestingly, according to his memory, Fiona was also the child of a former resident of the island who died in the Wizard War. Michael's birth mother took her in when she was barely a few years old and raised her as her own.

The walk to the teleportation point was a silent one. The only way to enter the island was one of the ten-teleportation formations laid out on the island. The rest of the island had a space ban, which prevented all sorts of teleportation abilities. Fiona apparently mistook Michael's silent looks around the island for sadness as she comforted him in her ever-gentle voice, "Don't worry Young Master. I believe with your talent and leadership you will surely lead the family into a prosperous future that surpasses all the previous family heads. Then the island will be just as lively if not more as in your history books."

Michael just smiled happily as his crush comforted and supported him. The former Michael was a bit of shy boy, especially around Fiona. It was not uncommon for him to suffer from periods of strong self-doubt about his future abilities. However, the current Michael had no such problems. As a Gamer and future member of the R.O.B club with a harem that spans the multiverse, what is leading a family out of decline? At best that could only qualify as basic operations. Exuding infinite confidence for his future Michael replied to her confidently, " Don't worry Fiona. Now and in the future I will always be a man you can rely on. No problem."

Fiona's eyes widened a little at the uncharacteristic response from her generally shy ward. Normally whenever she talked about the Grey family, Michael just looked slightly unsure or clung to her tightly. She didn't mind too much. He was after all just a young boy. Reversing the family fortune was probably something far into the future. Still seeing his confident eyes, Fiona couldn't help but feel a bit relieved. Perhaps this was the feeling of a mother watching her child spread his wings for the first time? Well she was not really his mother. The way his eyes had started lingering on her breasts and her ass in recent months were certainly not the way a child looks at their mother. Still the sudden burst of self-confidence was a welcome change. Fiona smiled at her young charge and said, " I am really glad to hear that Young Master. Please keep working hard."

Almost instantly, as Michael strutted forward like a peacock, he managed to trip over a stray rock and fell down. With the feeling of pain from his newly gashed knee he instantly reverted back from the confident middle-aged man to the shy ten year old. Instinctively seeking for the safest place in his heart, Michael looked up at Fiona and said with tears in his eyes, " Uuuuuh, Fionaaa. It hurts."

If this were an anime, Fiona would undoubtedly have a giant sweat drop on her forehead. Fortunately Michael was spared from this critical hit. Instead the gentle woman quickly bent down fussing over her ward while idly healing his cut and mending his pants with a few flicks of her wand. After the pain was gone and a few more loving reassurances the ten year old faded into the background again. Embarrassed at such a display in front of his crush, the middle aged Michael could only comfort himself with self-hypnosis of the interference of an R.O.B. After all there is no way he would have acted that way willingly…

Well after managing to put that embarrassing situation behind him the duo continued their journey. A few side-along apparitions and they managed to reach Holyhead, Whales hometown to the infamous Holyhead Harpies. Fortunately Michael's body was used to travelling with Fiona through aside-along apparition before otherwise he would have managed to embarrass himself in front of her twice within the hour. After a 3 hour Quiditch match, they eventually managed to head back to Grey Island before nightfall after Michael convinced Fiona to take a walk around Holyhead town.

Of course he had another purpose besides spending time with Fiona. His attempt to scan witches and wizards for average levels was absolutely unsuccessful. Even with the ten-year memories from his body he knew too little about the magical world to get an accurate estimate of levels for them. For example, they saw a few people that seemed to be recent graduates on Hogwarts together attending the match. One of them was level 70, while another was level 25. He had similar experiences most magical people he encountered. Obviously as judged by the hidden mechanics of his passive level observe skill, he knew too little about magic and magical people to make an accurate threat assessment.

Fortunately while he didn't know too much about witches and wizards yet, muggles in this day and age were not too different from regular people in his last life. After some examination the average level for kids near his age was between 1-3. For people that seemed to between the ages of 15-25, the average level ranged from between 15-20. After that for people between 30-50 the average level was generally around 30. He had seen one adult with a level of 47. But given his budging muscles, he was probably a solider or some sort of fighter. After that between the ages of 50-70, the average level actually sank back down to 25.

Given this data Michael summarized in his head that due to schooling and puberty, levels for regular people grew the fastest between the ages of 10-20. After that it experienced a slow increase all the way till 50 depending on the job and personal lifestyle choices of the individuals. After reaching 50, generally the level would start declining slightly all the way until death probably due to decrease in physical stats.

As Michael lay in bed, he was quite satisfied with the day overall. While unlike what he recalled from media consumption in his last life, he did not gain a large amount of core skills and a decent amount of levels on his first day in his new life, he did gain a decent understanding of his situation and a somewhat rough understanding of the world around him. Time spent sharpening the blade before chopping wood was not wasted after all. Planning based on circumstances was much smarter than just trying to level up as quickly as possible.

That is why he spent over a week reviewing his options in Character Creation with Pandora. After understanding that he could take as long as he wanted, his first thought had been to milk Pandora for as much information he could about game mechanics as possible before making any choices. So far it seemed like he had no made any bad decisions.

At the same time he had managed to have a fun day and watch his first ever quiditch game ever. How many times had he dreamt of watching or learning to play quiditch as a child? Especially after being lost in the void for an indeterminable time, taking the day to clear and cheer up his spirit was important.

Perhaps most important of all, he spent the day understanding and improving his relationship with his biggest card in hand for the foreseeable future, Fiona. While the relationship stats for her were quite high, they could always be improved. And after all without an understanding of her as a person and their relationship dynamic, they were just numbers after all. Treating her as an NPC was probably the fastest way to cause those numbers to fall off a cliff. For the emotional reasons of being her creator, or for the feelings cultivated over a ten-year period or just for practical reasons of her strength, it was important that Fiona was firmly in his corner. Until he could appropriately defend himself, she would be his shield to ward of all evils and occasionally, the sword in his hand to chop down those who threatened his interests.

Satisfied with his choices today, Michael drifted off to sleep. As much as he wanted to stay awake, with his currently subpar physical stats, he had to sleep at least 9 hours a day or be subject to hidden regeneration penalties…

AN/: Well, I was reading a lot of Gamer Fics and couldn't help but want to try my hand at it. Draws a little bit of inspiration from other Gamer Fics I have seen on the site and some tweaking on my own. The first chapter feels just a bit info dump-y but I felt it was needed. Anyways please rate and review!
