A tall volcano spewing lava, rock, and smoke from its mouth.
If one looks carefully, they might see her. The great winged beast.
And if one listens closely, they might hear him. A man playing a stringed instrument to the beat of the eruption.

one would find a mine.
A deep mine filled with shining ores and expensive, shining gemstones.
If one looks carefully, they might see her. The great striped beast.
And if one listens closely, they might hear her. A woman forging something, her hammer echoing down the mine shaft.

If one was to go as far east as they could go,
one would find a forest.
A lush forest of tall trees, covered by a blanket of soft leaves.
If one looks carefully, they might see her. The great scaled beast.
And if one listens closely, they might hear him. A man singing love songs in the rustling of the trees.

If one was to go to the center of everything,
one would find a mountain range.
A vast range of snowy peaks, veiled in a sheet of clouds.
If one looks carefully, they might see him. The great beast that walks on clouds.
And if one listens closely, they might hear her. A woman singing songs of lament that swirl with the clouds.

One day they will leave their places,
when their power is needed.
