Hi, everyone! I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*
Chapter 40
"I'm home."
Mizuki let out a yawn, tiredness clutching her figure. She underestimated the distance from Shoto's house to her own and despite enjoying the night air, she wanted to hurry home. Speaking of the male, she had let him know about her arrival when she entered her street.
Ah, she hadn't been home in an entire week. She wanted. No, needed to see her people again. She missed her mother's early morning scolding and her hot chocolate. She missed her father's amazing coffee and calmness as he sat in the morning by the kitchen table.
She missed her brother's snappy remarks and his presence next to her. It was true that she could feel him and know in what kind of mood he was, but she wanted to see him. She wanted to feel secure.
"There's my baby!" Mitzuki pulled her daughter into a bone crushing embrace, Mizuki suffocating between her mother's breasts. "I missed you so much! You took your sweet time getting home, didn't you?!" She snapped at her daughter, Mizuki paling.
"Now, now, Dear. She's home, safe and sound after a long week," Masaru spoke up as he came in next to Mitsuki. "Honey, you're suffocating her." Mitsuki looked down at her daughter's blue face and let go of her, Mizuki gasping for air.
"I thought I was going to die!" She coughed and then grinned at her parents. She pulled them into a hug and chuckled. "I missed you guys! Thank you for waiting up for me," she said, the two adults returning the embrace.
"How was it, sweetie? Did you learn something new?" Masaru asked, the two of them watching as Mizuki nodded, crimson eyes blazing. They could see there was a change. She seemed…much more confident than before, if that was even possible.
"Yeah, it was a pain and I was mostly only stuck on paperwork but I made the best of it. A Bakugou can't let herself be defeated that easily, nah?" Mizuki said, her grin widening as she put her hands on her hips and proudly stood.
"Oh no. It looks like we have a second Katsuki coming in… Just when I was starting to make peace with one…" Mitsuki stated dramatically, letting out an exasperated sigh. Masaru rubbed her back soothingly with a sympathetic smile.
"Like hell I'll ever be like Explodo-kill." Mizuki huffed and crossed her arms over her chest, crimson eyes searching. "Where is he anyway? Did he leave late at his internship?" She asked, Mitsuki and Masaru briefly glancing at each other.
"No, he's here…but…" Mitsuki trailed off, her daughter raising an eyebrow and she put a hand on her shoulder. "Mizuki, I need you not to freak out, okay? Your brother…he's…he's very sensitive and upset right now."
Mizuki blinked. Katsuki was upset? She could feel a storm brewing within her chest but to her it had been there all week and didn't make a difference. After all, Katsuki was always ready to blow a fuse no matter what the reason.
"What's going on?" Mizuki asked, a part of her knowing very well it was because of the internship at Best Jeanist's agency. She wondered if something happened besides the lecturing sessions, the change in costume and… Mizuki's eyes widened.
"Oh, this I have to see!" Mizuki stormed off, much to her parents' dismay. They called after her, wanting her to stop from pursuing her brother but it was no use. She was already up the stairs before they knew it.
I completely forgot about it! They flattened his hair out and made him wear jeans! Mizuki thought and hurried up. She needed to see his hair for herself. She had been dying to get at least a photo but Katsuki was stubborn, refusing.
For her luck, it would've returned to normal. However, her parents were clearly wary of the male. It all meant one thing. Nothing returned to normal. She might've missed her brother in a jean, but she was definitely not missing his new hairstyle.
Mizuki knocked hastily on his door, slightly out of breath. "Katsuki! I'm back! Open up!" Mizuki called from the other side of the door. She felt the sudden spike of panic from her brother and smirked evilly.
"Go away, Fabric Conditioner!"
"Don't be like that. I missed you, Explodo-kill! Can't you even have the decency to greet your sister after not seeing her a week?" Mizuki asked, her tone disapproving. It didn't match her mischievous expression. She was playing on his feelings, silently hoping it would work.
"No."
Mizuki was shot down without a moment of hesitation. She could feel the stab in her chest from betrayal. She must've known sweet talking wouldn't work. She was going to have to go through more drastic measures.
She went to open the door, the handle turning but nothing else happening. The little shit locked the door! She could imagine the smug expression he was currently making, a vein pulsing out of her forehead.
Then…how about this?! Mizuki ran down the stars again, passing her parents who were on their way to the kitchen. They watched as she exited the house using top speed, Masaru paling when he realized what his daughter was up to and Mitsuki let out a heavy sigh.
Mizuki stood in the garden, taking a breath as she looked at her brother's balcony. Katsuki never locked his balcony door when he was at home. He was overconfident, stating that he would beat up any villain that entered unwantedly and that was his fatal flaw.
His overconfidence.
I need to be fast or he'll catch me. The only way I can be faster than him is using my new technique… Mizuki thought and dug her bare feet into the grass below. Luckily, she left her shoes in the foyer, otherwise she would've blown one of her favourite pair of leather to smithereens.
Katsuki didn't trust the silence on the other side of his bedroom door. He knew Mizuki wasn't someone to give up that easily. Even if she was extremely tired, she wouldn't want to miss an opportunity like this.
He lay in bed, covers pulled over his shoulders and crimson eyes glancing at the light that came underneath his door. Her shadow was gone, meaning that she was up to something. She was brewing a plan to-BOOM!
Don't tell me she's-?! He didn't have enough time to put the lock on the door before Mizuki slid it open, falling inside. How on earth did she move so fast?! He thought and then ducked in the darkness of his room, moving beneath the covers.
"Don't think you can hide from me!" Mizuki shouted angrily, steam coming from her feet. She was going to get a scolding later on because of the burnt grass and the hole she made in the ground. Yet, at this moment, it didn't matter anymore.
"Go away, Mizuki! I'll kill you if you come any closer than that!" Katsuki yelled from underneath his bedding, Mizuki grabbing into the material. She pulled roughly, but her brother's grip was tight as he held it down and over his head.
"Let…go!"
"You let go!"
"Not until I see what happened to you!" Mizuki countered angrily, an idea popping into her head. She shoved her hand into the bedding and the smirked as she let out a small-scale explosion, her brother coughing.
"You little shit!" His grip loosened on the covers as he coughed, waving the smoke away from his face. Mizuki took the opportunity to pull the blanket away in one swift motion. At the same time, her mother unlocked the door and stepped inside putting on the light.
"What the hell do you two think you're doing?! It's already night time! People are trying to sleep!" Mitsuki scolded the twins, taking in the state of the room after their struggle. The pillows lay all over the floor along with the bedding and the balcony door was wide open.
"It wasn't me, Old Hag! It was this piece of shit!" Katsuki yelled angrily, pointing at his speechless sister. He had veins pulsating out from underneath his skin as he initially glared at his mother and then his sister.
Mizuki, who was still holding the blanket, stared at her brother. Her entire complexion was white, crimson eyes glazed over. She didn't move. She didn't utter a word. She merely stood there as the night wind brushed her back.
"What are you looking at, Mizuki?!"
"I…I…" Mizuki couldn't find her words. It was horrifying. Terror rocketed through her system as she observed the state her poor younger brother was in. His face heated up, his embarrassment growing as he trembled.
"What did they do to you…?" Mizuki asked breathlessly as she stared at his flattened-out hair. His spiky hair was forced to lay down and it looked tamed. It was terrible. There was a funny side to it. She just couldn't find herself to laugh at it at all.
"Bathroom. Now."
"Hah? I already washed it and it didn't work. My hair's gotten used to it!" Katsuki said through gritted teeth, a fist made and trembling. Mitsuki had her hand in front of her mouth, trying her best not to laugh.
"Old Hag, it's not funny!"
"Who're you calling Old Hag, you ungrateful brat?! I'm mess up more than your hair if you keep rubbing me the wrong way!" Mitsuki snarled back at her son, the two ready to pounce on each other.
"Katsuki…" Mizuki's tone of voice was low and dangerous. "Bathroom…now…" The duo opposite of her paled at her demeanour, steam coming from her mouth as she dangerously glared at her brother.
5 Minutes later…
Katsuki sat on the small step chair of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around his hips. He had an annoyed expression painted on his face, his head moving as Mizuki scrubbed his hair thoroughly and gently. He was definitely not going to admit that her massaging felt like a piece of heaven.
Mizuki stood behind him, dressed in an old black t-shirt and dark green shorts. She hummed in thought as she washed her brother's hair. She was content, happy that she was spending this time with her brother.
The last time they bathed together was when they were little. It felt like forever ago, but she felt a bit closer currently. A small smile filled with nostalgia came onto her lips and her eyes softened as warmth filled her chest.
"You're thinking about something stupid again, aren't you?" Katsuki asked, feeling Mizuki's strong emotions. Mizuki half-heartedly glared at him, pulling his hair lightly. "Ow! You want me to kill you?!"
"Stop being an ass. I'm trying to help you here. I was thinking of the last time we bathed together," Mizuki told the male. Katsuki rolled his eyes, his head tugging as she continued to massage his scalp.
"We were practically babies then! We're way too old to do that now!" Katsuki replied, flinching when she suddenly rinsed off his hair. She was annoyed with his commentary but it was true. It had been so many years ago and now that they were grown up, they couldn't do it anymore.
He wasn't going to tell her that he also thought of the past when they were both still young. Mizuki would always follow him around, sticking to his side as far as possible. They did everything together, they dreamed together… Until Izuku came along.
"I'm going to blow your hair after you put on some clothes." Mizuki stood up after rinsing her brother's washed hair. "You can come to my room and I'll dry it for you," Mizuki told the male as she walked away. She needed to put on some dry clothes herself.
"I don't need your-" She gave him a cold and menacing look, making him quick to shut his mouth. There was no room for argument when she threatened him. He scoffed, scowling soon after while Mizuki walked out of the bathroom.
He's too stubborn for his own good. She thought and stifled a yawn that wanted to escape, tears forming involuntarily in the corner of her eyes. She was tired but she couldn't sleep just yet. She needed to fix the mistake of the century before she did.
"Here you go, Sweetie," Masaru spoke up as he approached his daughter with a warm cup of cocoa. He noticed the tiredness in her eyes and gave her a soft smile. Mizuki returned the smile and took the cup.
"Thanks, Dad."
He nodded. "Your Mother said that you need to finish up and get to bed. It's getting late now and you've had a rough week," Masaru said and Mizuki nodded, pushing down another yawn that wanted to emerge.
"I'll do that. Night, Dad. Can you tell Mom I said night?" Masaru nodded, Mizuki grunting as she stepped inside her room. He let out a chuckle at the way she half dragged herself inside and shook his head as he went to their bedroom.
"It didn't work." Katsuki stood in her doorway, Mizuki glancing at her brother and nearly choked on the sip she took. His hair lay flat on his head. It looked like his spikiness had given up on life. It was quite the sight.
"I haven't blow-dried it yet. You can sit down at my desk," Mizuki said, putting down her hot cocoa on a coaster. Katsuki grumbled something incoherent under his breath as he went to sit down, a towel resting on his shoulders.
Mizuki changed into dry clothes inside her closet, his crimson eyes lazily looking around. She had a half-finished dress shirt on one of her mannequins and a small pile of patterns lay on the end of the desk. She left it unattended for a week but he knew her well enough to know that she was going to finish it up within the next day or two.
"Hey, I thought that you had dinner at one of your stupid friend's house, you little liar." Katsuki pointed at the hanging dress she wore. "You went on a date with Kirishima, didn't you?" He said and Mizuki rolled her eyes, closing her closet door.
"I didn't. It was the only casual, yet acceptable outfit I took with me. I would've worn my peach dress if I…" Mizuki stopped her talking and looked back at her brother with a baffled expression. "Did you just call Red by his name?" She asked, Katsuki's cheeks flushing.
"No, I didn't! I said Shitty Hair! Get your ears unplugged, Designer Freak!" He snapped at her, turning his back towards her on the chair. Mizuki was shocked. When did this happen? Did she miss something?
MIzuki found herself smirking as she walked over towards her brother. "Looks like someone is actually making friends, or should I say friend? I guess Red grew on you too, huh?" Mizuki plugged in the hair dryer, Katsuki growling.
"Who is making friends?!"
"Oh, hush." Mizuki went to dry his hair, humming in thought as she tried to restore the spiky hair. She was glad and relieved. Katsuki always got the wrong friends that bullies other and merely followed him because he was powerful. When he was in danger, they didn't care and ran off.
This time, Eijiro was the one who caught his eye. He didn't back down from any insult and his willpower bulldozed through everything. He was pure hearted and determined, something that she admired.
Shit, I miss him. This is a pain. Mizuki thought with a silent sigh. They talked as much as they were able to, which was very little with their duties. He was busier than she was and when it was night-time, they were too exhausted to talk for long.
Katsuki was quietly enjoying Mizuki's styling, not saying anything. He felt complete with her close to him. There were many frustrations that build up in the week that passed and he planned to get it all out but with her near him, those frustrations faded away.
"Okay, this is the best I can do," Mizuki said, turning off the blow drier. She managed to get some of the spiky hair back, a few stubborn hairs not wanting to be tamed. She nodded in satisfaction and Katsuki took in his appearance.
"How the hell-? I washed it and dried it exactly the same way and it didn't work! What the hell did you do different?!" Katsuki asked the female, agitated that she was able to fix some of his hair. It wasn't everything, yet it was much better.
Mizuki flexed her fingers and smirked. "Magical hands, brother. Magical hands." He snorted and received a playful shove from his sister. "You can at least say 'thank you', ungrateful shit," she scolded and pressed her index finger into his cheek, the male avoiding eye contact.
"Well, at least it looks better. Now, off to bed with you. Dad already warned me that Mom's gonna come and drag our asses to bed if we don't go to bed when we're done," Mizuki said, finishing the last of her hot cocoa.
"Whatever." Katsuki stood up and walked towards the door. Mizuki packed away her things and then yawned again. He stopped by the door and glanced back at his sister. It was good to know that she was next to him again.
"Mizuki." She stopped and looked back at her brother, his backside turned towards her. "Thanks, Sis." He then slammed the door closed behind him. She blinked and then snickered. His red-ears was a dead giveaway.
"He's too proud," she thought aloud and then switched off her main light. She plopped onto her bed in the dark, letting out a satisfied moan from the soft material beneath her. How she missed her own bed…
Buzz…Buzz…Buzz…
Mizuki whined as the vibration reached her ears, the light of her phone illuminating her room somewhat. She wanted to sleep! She didn't have time for anyone right now. Wasn't the day filled with too much already?
"Mngh… What?" Mizuki answered her phone after reluctantly dragging it towards her ear. She didn't spare any energy to look at the caller ID. She let out a sigh, her eyes closing as she savoured the feeling of her pillow.
"Mizuki? Sorry, did I call you awake?" Eijiro's voice had the female instantly sit upright, crimson eyes wide and face flushing. Oh no. Why didn't she looked who called?! She answered it so disgracefully!
"No, sorry about that. I was just…Ugh, forget it." Someone drown me now. "What's up, Red? You know it's like…basically ten already, right?" Mizuki asked, rubbing her eyes after glancing at her clock.
"Yeah, I know. Sorry about calling you so late! I, um…I, ah… I thought that you would have some time to spare to talk I know we're going to see each other at school and all but I couldn't… I mean, I haven't heard you voice in a while… Oh man, this is terrible…" Eijiro groaned.
Mizuki blinked and then smiled. He couldn't wait to talk to her until school so he decided to call her as soon as he had the chance. She could feel her heart skip a beat and bit her bottom lip. He was too cute.
"I'm sorry I bothered. You probably want to sleep-""I missed you too, Red," Mizuki cut him off, the male's shock audible. Mizuki lay on her back, hand over her eyes and smiled in the darkness. She then rolled onto her side, phone resting on her ear.
"Since you disturbed my slumbering, you're going to have to take responsibility and keep me company until I sleep," Mizuki told the male, grateful that he wasn't able to see her flushed expression.
"I wouldn't be a man if I didn't!" She chuckled lightly. "How was your last day at the internship? Did you manage to get all your paperwork down on time?" Eijiro asked, Mizuki nodded on the other side of the phone.
"Yeah, luckily. It didn't end as bad as it started and I made sure to leave dear Mister Number-one-prick a gift. I hope he appreciated all the effort I put in it," Mizuki stated, Eijiro letting out a nervous laugh at the thought.
"What about you? How was your last day? I'm sure you're probably as tired as I am after being kept busy," Mizuki asked, knowing that they did more community work than expected. That and making tea and going on patrolling regularly.
"Fourth Kind-san made sure to finish it off with a last patrol. Tetsutetsu and I then finished off and went to the station together. The week was boring at times but he taught me to always be enthusiastic about everything even if it's difficult!" Eijiro proudly stated, his big grin flashing in her thoughts.
"Looks like I wasn't the only one to learn something. Though, I think we're going to be thrown under the bus when we return to class," Mizuki said, hearing a gulp come from the redhead male and a shaky breath.
"Please don't remind me…" Eijiro shivered in fear and then shook his head. "Anyway, how was your dinner? Did you catch up with your old friends?" He asked and Mizuki blinked. Dinner? Old friends? Wait, what?
"Where did you hear that I was invited to dinner?" Mizuki asked, the male cursing under his breath and everything clicked in her mind. "Don't tell me… Katsuki told you? You have his number? That's why he calls you by your name… I feel like I've missed way too much! When did this happen?"
"Uh…"
"No answer, huh? It's alright. The dinner was fine. I actually think I made a new friend and the food was delicious. I got a bit late at home though…" Mizuki's stubbornness was too late to stop the yawn that escaped her lips.
"I'm glad that you enjoyed it. You deserved something good after your internship and with everything that happened with the Hero Killer. I'm glad that you're still alright," Eijiro said and Mizuki tiredly smiles, eyes half-lidded.
"I'm not weak you know?"
"Not at all! You're one of the strongest people I know! I mean, you blow up anyone who comes in your way. I just don't want you to put yourself in too much danger, that's all," Eijiro said and Mizuki hummed softly.
"Yeah…"
Eijiro noticed the tired tone of voice as it faded away. He couldn't help the smile that came on his lips, a peculiar gleam passing through his eyes. He heard soft snoring reach his ears and briefly closed his eyes.
"Sleep tight, Mizuki."
At School…
She was a failure.
She always thought that she would be able to do anything she put her mind to. She studied and went to seminars when she was younger to make sure that she would be a great person in the fashion industry one day…then why…?
Mizuki dragged her feet as she walked towards class, her crimson eyes glazed over and a dark cloud hanging over her head. She didn't have the motivation to lift her spirits or even look up as she slid the door open.
A few pairs of eyes fell onto her figure, a pair of green eyes lighting up. "Morning, Mi…chan… What's wrong?! Mi-chan?!" Izuku yelled out in alert at his best friend's negative emotional state. He paled, sweating bullets.
Mizuki was always neatly dressed and punctual, yet today was a dreadful day. She didn't bother to tuck in her school uniform completely, heavy bags beneath her eyes. It was the most horrifying thing Izuku had ever seen.
"Mor…ning…Izu-kun…"
"Y-You're scaring me! What happened?!" Izuku asked, Mizuki nearly falling forward if she hadn't put her one foot in front of the other. Izuku stood on the side, shaking and unsure if he should help her or not.
"Good morning, Mizuki-kun! I hope that you're well rested after your internship! Today, our duties as class representatives continues! We cannot afford to slack off!" Iida told the female, waving his arms robotically.
Mizuki dragged her feet passed him, not saying anything or even sending him a mocking comment. Everyone watched as she dragged her feet until she was at her desk. She then slammed her head onto the table and stayed hunched.
"Mizuki-kun?!"
"T-Todoroki-kun, what happened?!" Izuku asked the duo hair coloured male, pointing at his depressed best friend. Shoto who was on his way to greet the female was also captured in his own confusion.
"I don't know. She was still fine the last time I saw her. Maybe something happened at home?" He suggested, Izuku paling. He hesitantly looked back at the ash blonde female and swallowed with difficulty.
Home? If she had a fight with Katsuki, she would be raging, cursing at everyone and have a threatening aura around her. However, that wasn't the case. To see her acting this way had him panicking and he briefly wondered if someone had died.
"Morni-""Kirishima-kun! We need your help!" Izuku nearly tackled the male to the ground when he stepped inside, Sero standing next to him. Eijiro jumped in surprise and leaned backwards as Izuku invaded his space.
"Midoriya? What's wrong?" He asked, completely dumbstruck at what was happening. Meanwhile, Iida tried to get a response from the female by asking her questions. When his methods failed, Shoto tried to ask her but it was no use.
"It's Mi-chan!" Eijiro's eyes widened and followed his gaze to where Mizuki sat in absolute dread and depression, a dark cloud hanging over her. "W-We don't know what happened! She just came in like that!" Izuku said and Eijiro frowned.
She was still alright previous night. On the contrary, she was filled with snap and confidence. He stared at her, wondering what happened and then walked towards her. His expression was filled with concern as he kneeled next to her and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, you okay?" Eijiro asked rubbing her back soothingly. "Did you and Bakugou have a fight?" He asked once more. There was an awkward silence that made everyone fidget uncomfortably and had them all worrying about the type of internship she had.
"I'm…a failure…" Everyone exclaimed at the sudden escalation of her statement. Mizuki sniffed, tears in the corner of her eyes as she lifted her head. She still had the red mark on her forehead from where she hit the wooden surface.
"Eh? Why?"
Mizuki looked at Eijiro with teary eyes and he felt a tight squeeze inside his chest. He didn't know if he was going to die from how cute she looked or of her sadness. He nearly fell over from the view and was quick to balance himself on his legs.
"Mi-chan, you won't ever be a failure! You're strong and competent! You can beat anyone who made you feel this way!" Izuku tried to encourage the female. She looked at him and he felt his own chest give a tight squeeze along with Iida and Shoto.
"This time…I was defeated…" Mizuki fell onto the table with her head once again, everyone wincing at the pain she caused. It was no use to try and motivate her. Eijiro's soothing backrubs were also not helping at all. The only hope they had left was Shoto and Katsuki who still hadn't arrived.
"Guys, don't Mizuki and Bakugou come to school together? Maybe that has something to do with this?" Kaminari asked, not daring to poke the female to make sure she was alive. The last time he did it, he nearly died.
"Mizuki-chan…"
Shoto, being their only hope, kneeled on the other side of Mizuki. He gave her a pat on the shoulder, his way of showing affection. "Don't worry about it," Shoto said and everyone inside the classroom sweat dropped. They waited for a reaction but nothing happened. Izuku had the two boys by her side giving him heartbroken looks and he gritted his teeth.
The only one who can help us now, is Kacchan. I don't like it, but it's the only way we can help her! Izuku thought and looked at the entrance. Even if they didn't come at the same time, he won't miss school. He'll always be only a few behind Mi-chan!
Footsteps reached everyone's ears, suspension building up in the air. They waited. They could hear the person nearing, the tension high as they waited. No one dared to blink, dared to breathe or dared to sneeze.
A school uniform came into view, an angry and intimidating aura following. Their eye slit up in relief, only for everyone to turn white at what they saw. Katsuki stepped into the classroom, a deep sneer on his lips. He gave one glare to the class and then it was over.
"Seriously?! Seriously, Bakugou?!" Eijiro and Sero burst out laughing at the male's hairstyle. His once spiky ash blonde hair returned to its defeated and flat state. It was too much for the duo, tears forming in the corner of their eyes.
"I couldn't do it…I tried…everything…" Mizuki sniffed in despair and sadness. Izuku gave her a looked of disbelief. "I was defeated…by hair… I'm not allowed…to become a designer…anymore…." She dramatically stated.
That's why she's depressed?!
"M-Mi-chan, you shouldn't worry about it. You can always overcome this. You're going to be the best designer, right?" Izuku tried to soothe her. Mizuki looked up at him, eyes filled with hope and expectation.
"You really think so, Izu-kun?" Mizuki asked, her tone picking up slightly and the cloud starting to fade away. She resembled a little girl that fell and was now waiting to receive confirmation that she was still going to be okay.
"Of course!" Izuku replied, a big grin plastered on his face. She looked at Iida and Shoto, the duo giving her assuring nods after Izuku gave them a signal to do so. Iida had some concept of what was going on while Shoto only went with what he was instructed to do.
"Stop laughing! My hair's gotten used to it so it won't go back even after I wash it! Hey, stop laughing! I'll kill you!" Katsuki snapped at the two males, his body trembling as anger and agitation fuelled him. Even after Mizuki got his hair right, when he woke up the next morning it was back where it started.
"I'd like to see you try, Side-Part Boy!" They countered, tears falling down their face as they held their stomachs. It was too funny. They couldn't deal with it. It didn't fit him at all! It was too much for them to handle.
"What did you say?!" Katsuki's sudden angry outburst had his hair popping back into position, only making the duo laugh harder. The trio who stood by Mizuki stared at the hair that returned, Izuku sweat dropping.
"It's back to normal," Shoto's words were barely spoken before a menacing aura came from Mizuki's figure. Izuku paled at the murderous expression she wore, steam coming from her mouth as she glared.
"You're shitting me… I spend all my effort trying to fix his hair only to have it return with a pop! I'LL BLOW THOSE SPIKES TO SMITHEREENS!" She angrily yelled, ready to pounce and Izuku managed to keep her at bay.
She's back to normal…
Miuzki growled and sat back in her seat, still fuming about the hair that defeated her. It was absurd. She couldn't believe it. When she woke up this morning, it returned to its pathetic state and with one angry burst, it was back. What type of hair did her brother have?
"Well, I'm glad to have you back, Mi-chan," Izuku said and let out a sigh of relief. "How was the rest of your internship? Sorry that I couldn't contact you as much as I wanted to…" Mizuki gazed at the male and waved him off.
"Don't wreck you head over it-""Mizuki-chan's internship? That must've been crazy! I heard you went with Todoroki-kun!" Mina piped in, Mizuki blinking at her sudden presence. Ochaco was at the back, punching in the air with an aura showing her awakened state while Jiro and Tsuyu listened to their conversation.
Mizuki huffed and sat back in her chair, making the girls give her perplexed expressions. Mizuki then smirked darkly, crimson eyes blazing brightly and they knew that something was coming. A comment that was the most unexpected.
"Yeah, I blew a villain's brains off."
Her statement had everyone in the room turn blue while Mizuki smirked victoriously. The way she said it and the actual words made them all realize that she was insanely dangerous. Why was she grinning because of doing that even?!
"Mizuki's as hardcore as ever, but the ones who changed the most or at least went through the most were you four, right?" Kaminari asked, gesturing towards the trio men and single female as they stood by her desk.
"Oh yeah! The hero killer!"
"I'm glad you guys made it out alive! Seriously!"
Mizuki glanced at her redhead, sweat dropping when she saw that Katsuki was holding both him and Sero in separate hands by their jackets. She gave him a sympathetic gaze, knowing that they were going to get it.
"I was worried… I heard Endeavor saved you, right? As expected from the number two hero," Yaoyorozu said and Mizuki was instantly in a foul mood. What made it worse was that everyone was flocking towards her seat.
"Yeah. He saved us," Shoto said, Mizuki's irritation showing from the veins that pulsated out of her forehead. They had to keep it a secret but thinking about him saving her had her already want to burn down another training room.
"I saw on the news that the hero killer was connected to the League of Villains. Imagining someone that scary coming to USJ freaks me out," Ojiro said and Mizuki frowned. She doubted it. If he had been their ally from the beginning, why wasn't he at USJ?
"He is scary, but did you see the video, Ojiro? It's a video of the hero killer. Seeing that, you can see how he's really single-minded and like tenacious. Doesn't it almost make you think he's cool?" Kaminari said and Mizuki gave him a deadly glare.
"Hey, Shit Face. Watch it. I'll kill you," Mizuki snarled at the male and his eyes widened. His hand shot towards his mouth as he mumbled an apology. It was still a sore subject since it involved Iida's older brother.
"It's fine. It's true that he was tenacious. I understand how people could think he's cool but he chose purging as a result of his beliefs. No matter what he thinks, that part of definitely wrong. In order to keep anyone else from turning out like me, I will once again walk on the path to becoming a hero!" Iida said and Mizuki smirked.
"Atta boy, Four-Eyes." Mizuki gave him a grin, the male returning it with a smile. It quickly fella way when Mizuki's hair floated up, sparks appearing over her body. "As for the rest of you, get you asses in your seats! You're invading my space! Move!" She ordered and everyone was quick to comply.
Mizuki then rested her eyes on her brother who still held the two males. They made eye contact and an entire conversation unspoken in a single moment. It briefly reminded her of how Fuyumi and Natsu communicated.
She sat back in her chair and crossed her arms over her chest, briefly glancing at the clock to check the time. "You have two minutes to murder them and then you better have you ass seated," she told the male and Katsuki scoffed.
"It's more than enough!"
"W-Wait! M-Mizuki! Save us!" Eijiro called as Katsuki dragged them towards the entrance of the classroom. Mizuki gave him an innocent look and then winked. The male's eyes widened in betrayal as he was dragged out.
They both let out a cry from the other side everyone paling while Mizuki shook her head in disapproval. It was their own stupidity that they got on Katsuki's bad side. After all, the hair was a very sensitive subject.
Mi-chan is cruel…
"Ah, Izu-kun, before I forget." Mizuki leaned backwards in her chair, glancing at the male from the corner of her eyes. "I haven't given Toshinori-san his jacket back yet. You can tell him that I'll give it to him at the usual spot. I washed it and everything," she said and his eyes widened.
"It's not necessary to go that far, Mi-chan! I'll give it to him. After all the effort you put into washing it, it's the least I can do," Izuku said and waved his arms in front of his chest. He could feel the intensity of her gaze heighten with each passing second.
"Don't be ridicules. I owe him my thanks and I didn't bring it to school anyway. You can tell him I'll meet him there. I'll be running at my usual time," Mizuki said and a trail of sweat ran down the side of Izuku's face.
"I'll let him know," Izuku told her with a nervous smile. Mizuki grunted and turned towards the front once more. Izuku let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. He felt like he was being swallowed up for a moment.
Ever since the sports festival, he was on the edge. He talked about it with All Might and the male said to lay low. They had to make sure not to make her any more suspicious than she already was. He was going to have to warn him about Mizuki wanting to see him.
He knew that Mizuki wasn't one to pry. On the contrary, she didn't like to be part of anything that could be a pain. She told him that if he wanted to keep his secret, he needed to do a better to keep it hidden and that was exactly what he was trying to do.
There weren't any signs that she knew about his Quirk being passed on like he had told Katsuki very vaguely. It seemed that he didn't take his words to heart. Meaning that he didn't have an idea what Mizuki was thinking and that was the most dangerous thing of all.
