Unlucky triple Seven
Last time on Total Drama Tyranny of the masses, we reached the final 7 of the 7th season, so we have a special challenge. The seven contestants will compete in seven casino games in which their luck and guts will be tested.
Fine, there won't be seven games. Because of a small mistake, they actually have to be in 6 games, but they'll be awesome anyway. So far, they already compete in 3 of them. Lilly single-handedly lost and ruined the Speed Baccarat. Brick was the unluckiest one playing at ballistic craps. And Duncan was targeted and eliminated by Cody at Itchy poker, it seems the nerd beat the delinquent like in the movies.
Now, Courtney, Mike, Cody, and Samey will face each other in the 4th game. Who will be the luckiest one and get the immunity? And who will be the unlucky 7th and go home courtesy of the chopper of shame? And of course, how is that I look so handsome in any clothes I wear? Find out the answers here, in Total Drama Tyranny of the Masses.
Game 4: Boring slot machine parole
It was already half an hour since the game started, and the 4 remaining campers remembered the instructions clearly.
You have to choose any of these slot machines and play with the credits you make at the poker challenge. We will give you coins for the value of your credits. The first one to lose all their coins is out of the game.
Also, you can choose to stop playing and keep your coins. That way, you won't lose, but if the other players stop playing with more coins than you, you will be the one eliminated.
The four contestants were each trying their best to win, but there was not much to do, and as Chris said, it was BORING.
"Without the thrill of winning real money, the slot machines are a little monotonous," said Mike, whose coins were now sitting at 79.
"Seriously? I'm really having fun at this one," said Sammy, who again won a small amount. She had already 201.
"You're really lucky. Do you want to swap machines?" asked the spiky-haired guy, looking at her with wide eyes.
"That's a bad idea. I already milked this one dry. Let's try that one," said the twin pulling Mike by the arm.
"This reminds me of when Amy was here. She bossed me around exactly like you," he made a goofy smile, but his eyes were watching over her like a falcon.
She rolled her eyes. "Ugh, that's because we're twins!" she said in a snarky tone, "you of all people should know that."
The former multiple Mike wasn't sure of her answer, her tone was like Sammy's, but the pitch and the words were exactly like her sister.
But she ignored him. "You try using this one, and I'll use that one."
Mike sat and pulled the lever. In a moment, the machine stopped at three Chef's faces, giving him 30 coins.
"How?" asked the thin guy looking shocked at the twin.
"I guess I'm just lucky," she replied, winking. She also won a small prize on her machine.
While this happened, Courtney was watching her opponents, not spending a single coin.
"Hey bossy girl, Why aren't you playing?" asked Chef, glaring behind her.
She smirked and turned to face him, "It's part of my stra- WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?"
The Latin girl couldn't hide her disgust at Chef, who was wearing a red bunny-girl outfit (ears included) and carrying a plate with two fake margarita's glasses.
"This old thing? It's just to create the casino's atmosphere. But I'm the one asking the questions," said Chef in an annoyed tone, ignoring Courtney's reaction.
"I'm just analyzing the patterns in the machines before playing. I got the second most coins among the contestants, so there is no need to risk playing randomly," said Courtney, folding her arms and trying to not look at him.
Chef rubbed his chin, "It sounds smart, but this way, you can lose your chance of winning. What if everyone else began to win and leave you behind?"
"It's a possibility but let's look at the current situation. After 30 minutes Mike is still behind me, and Cody isn't doing that great either," she said, pointing at both guys, "so I just need to do slightly better to be in second."
"What about being the best at everything you compete in?" Asked Chef raising an eyebrow.
She just stretched her hands and winked. "I prefer to be happy, now if you excuse me I have a second place to reclaim."
After saying this she went to a nearby slot machine, leaving Chef scratching his head.
"I swear these kids are weirder and weirder with each season," sentenced the bunny girl co-host as he continued walking around the room.
But as Courtney said, the Codemeister wasn't doing well in the slot machines.
He put another coin inside the machine, pulled the lever, and got another Lucky 7 - Star - .
"Another fail? C'mon why can't I win against any of these one-armed bandits?" protested Cody slamming his fist against the metallic frame of the machine.
He then stood up and changed to a nearby slot machine, it was his 9th since the challenge started. So far he had won 2 games but lost his winnings and 76 coins, sitting now at 94 coins.
He put a coin, pulled the lever, and lost again. This couldn't be happening.
He put a coin, pulled the lever, and lost again. If he knew it would be like this, he would retire before starting, keeping his 170 coins.
He put a coin, pulled the lever, and lost again. Did he have a chance? The gap between him and the others was just growing and growing.
And as if it was a nightmare, he heard it, someone hit the jackpot, coins were raining from another machine.
"YES! It seems I found gold!" shouted Mike, raising both arms as his machine kept giving coins.
The brunette guy sighed, but he won't give up. He rolled up his sleeves and continued putting, pulling, and playing. Cody Anderson won't lose without a fight.
After another 30 minutes, the results were basically there.
Sammy was comfortably sitting at 296 coins. Meanwhile, Courtney was just behind at 270 (including the 20 Duncan gave her), and Mike was in a close third place with 256.
But Cody was dead last with only 85.
"Hahaha, what happened Cody, did you use all your luck in the poker challenge?" asked Chris in a mocking tone.
"Hahaha. you're so funny," replied the brunette guy in a snarky tone, "Are you sure these machines aren't broken?"
Chris tapped his cane against the floor and shook his head. "Not a chance, all the machines are controlled by our supercomputer D.A.M. If it was broken it would be the same for all the players. You just had bad luck."
"Ok, then I give up. There is no way I can win this even playing all day," said Cody, shrugging.
"Good choice, you were playing this for more than an hour. Sadly this was the most boring hour of the entire show. Let's change locations to the next game, which I'm sure will be more interesting," said the host twirling his cane, throwing it into the air and catching it.
Courtney waved at Cody while she and the other two remaining players followed Chris into the next room. Meanwhile, the brunette boy went into the elevator, not realizing it went down into a floor much lower than the losers' room.
Confessional: Cody
"I was so unlucky in the slot machine game. It's a shame this challenge had so many variables, including luck. I hope next time I'm luckier," said Cody as he rubbed his neck, making a little smile.
Fifth game: Battle Blackjack.
Lilly was looking at the door of the losers' room with a sad expression while Brick woke up Duncan.
"Solder, they finished the game," said Brick while shaking the delinquent.
"Ehm, uhm. Uh Thanks G.I. Brick," said Duncan rubbing his eyes. "Who lost? Mike?"
Brick shook his head. "Negative, the recruit who was eliminated was Cody."
And just as if he heard them, Cody entered the room. He rubbed his neck and was making a little smile.
"Hehehe, It seems I was unlucky," said the brunette guy.
"You did great Cody, don't worry about it," replied Lilly, trying to comfort him.
The brunette guy nodded and sat next to her. "Thanks."
"Shhhh. They're starting the next one, and it seems Chris lost a screw," said Duncan looking at the screen with wide eyes.
"Are those robots?" asked Brick, tilting his head.
As they were saying, in the new room, there were three 10 feet human-like headless robots, like those used in the kung fu challenge on the Action Season. And in the bottom of the room, a huge rectangular cannon.
"Welcome contestants, please enter your robot suits while I explain the rules of this game. We called it Battle blackjack," said Chris while raising his arms.
"Are these things secure?" asked Courtney while entering her robot.
Chris chuckled. "Hahaha, as the veteran, I hoped you'd know better, Courtney." After ignoring the question he continued. "The rules are easy. We will shoot you with this beautiful card-cannon machine and you have to stop the cards. The player who gets closer to 21 without exceeding wins a set. Additionally, if your robot can't catch the card, you're out of the set."
"So the one who wins more sets wins the games?" asked Mike, looking confused at the host.
"NO! The player who wins fewer sets after the first robot is destroyed is out of the game, and the remaining two advance to the last game," explained Chris, chuckling. "So try to win while keeping your robot in more or less a good condition."
Sammy was making her robot flex and jump a little. "Gotcha."
Mike and Courtney looked at each other, not sharing the same confidence as her.
As the game started, Chef (still dressed as a bunny girl) entered the cannon control room and shot the first card at Courtney.
The shot was loud and heavy. She caught the card, which immediately gave her an electric shock.
"More electric shocks?" asked Courtney in an annoyed tone
Chris laughed, "Sorry I forgot to mention it, the cards have some surprises to make the battle more interesting."
Courtney sighed and kept her 9, as Chef shot at Mike.
The spiky-haired guy caught the card, which was covered in grease and slipped from his robot's hands.
"Hey what was that?" asked Mike, glaring at his card on the floor.
"That was a slippery card, and you're out of this set," said Chris chuckling.
Sammy hit her fists together, ready to get the card. Chef shot it, and the twin jumped over it. The card covered the robot in a sticky substance that limited its movement.
"Ugh, yuck, what the hell? Can't you make it a fun challenge?" asked the twin, trying to control the robot's sticky limbs.
"What are you saying Samey. This challenge is amusing, at least for me," said Chris laughing.
Sammy groaned, and the game continued, the twin winning 18 against 23.
The sets continued, the contestants kept trying to get more cards and winning sets.
Courtney robot was hit by a card full of honey, flour, and vegetable oil, among others. Mike was covered with tar, tomato sauce, and a Japanese fermented beans called natto (really international). While Sammy was covered in caramel, feathers, and gravy.
"This game is really a messy battle," said Chris laughing, "And the scores are really close, Courtney 3, Mike 3, and Samey 2. And we're starting the 8th set."
Courtney took a deep breath, her hair was messy, and she smelled like a salad, but she was determined to win. Then she heard the next card being shot and caught it. After a moment, her robot was covered in small and crunchy dust.
"Pft, What's THIS?" shouted the former CIT. "Dead bees? Did you throw me DEAD BEES?"
"WHAT?" Chris covered the mic, and after a moment, talked again. "Sorry, it was supposed to be live bees. But it seems they didn't survive being shot from the card cannon. Damn, animal rights will complain again."
She rolled her eyes, then groaned at her card. "Really? Three of diamonds? I'm sure Bridgette would cry watching all these bees dying for a three of diamonds."
Then it was Mike's turn. His robot was slower thanks to the tar, but he still had great reflexes. As the new card was shot, he moved the robot and used its body to stop it.
As the card hit him, he and his robot were covered in custard. He just licked his lips and smiled. "Vanilla? Ok, it could be worse."
He then let down his card, the 9 of clubs, and put it face down. It was the turn of Sammy.
The robot of the twin wasn't in better shape. The caramel and feather obscured her vision, and the sticky substance put a lot of strain on the articulations.
Then the next card was shot, and she ran to catch it, but as soon as she stopped the card, the robot was covered in freezing water.
"Hahaha, what a cold surprise," said Chris laughing.
But then the elbows and knees of the robot began to produce sparks, and then it fell apart.
"And it seems we have the next competitor out of the game," said the host in a mocking tone, as Mike and Courtney began to go down of their robots and run to see if the twin was ok.
Mike was the first to arrive and helped Sammy get out of the robot. She was shivering. The spiky-haired guy was surprised but didn't say anything.
"Put this on," he said, giving her his shirt. "It's dry, so you will be better than with your wet uniform."
"Th-than-a-choo!" sneezed the twin. Luckily the water only splashed her face, shoulders, and torso.
Courtney reached them and gave the twin her sweater. "Take, it's better if you use this. I'm sure it's warmer than that t-shirt and has long sleeves," she then smiled at Mike. "Also, I have my shirt, and I'm sure Mike would be more comfortable without being half-naked."
"Don't be so sure. I really enjoy showing this," said Mike flexing in various positions. "But as you wish. I'll cover myself. I don't want to embarrass the guys in the losers' room."
The three laughed at Mike's occurrence before being interrupted by Chris.
"I hate to interrupt this magical moment, but we have a challenge to finish. So please follow me to the last floor. The exciting conclusion awaits," said the host pointing at an elevator.
Sammy stretched her arms. "I guess this is when I go on my own to the losers' room, I just hope there is a comfy sofa."
"Hahaha sorry to disappoint you, but everyone will be present for the last game. So please come this way." Chris walked toward the elevator, pressing the button with his cane.
"Ugh, can I at least use the confessional before going?" Asked the twin.
"Hurry up," replied Chris. Courtney and Mike looked at each other. If they want the immunity, they need to beat the other.
Confessional: Sammy
The twin was wearing Courtney's gray sweater and a towel around her shoulder. "That's what I hate about this show. Can't we all face the same challenge? I hate to be out of the game, thanks to some random issue," she then put a finger on her cheek. "Then again this is a casino challenge, so luck may be a part of it, but I doubt Chris is smart enough to do that."
Game 6: Russian Roulette Race.
On the rooftop of the casino was an immense roulette like that used in the homonymous game. It was big enough so 4 people could go inside instead of the ball.
On a side in a stone bench were sitting Lilly, Brick, Duncan, and Cody. Sammy walked toward them.
"And I just wanted to sit in a comfy chair. Why does Chris hate us so much?" said the twin sitting next to Lilly.
"Maybe it was just a coincidence. I don't think he plans every contingency in the function of making us miserable," said Brick folding his arms.
Duncan laughed. "I always considered it was envy because his career is over, and he has to host these shows while we still have all our future in front of us."
"Wow, Duncan, that sooo was deep. You're smart, man," said Cody, making everyone laugh. Curiously he didn't laugh at his own joke.
"Nah, I actually read it in a fortune cookie," replied the delinquent in a snarky tone.
Lilly stopped laughing and looked with curiosity at the remaining players. "Who do you think will win?"
"Both are my friends, but I think Courtney. I had the pleasure to be with her in some challenges and I don't think she'll lose," said Brick nodding.
"But that Mike has the skills of Svetlana, who was an Olympic gymnast, and he's quite good at physical challenges," replied Cody rubbing his chin.
Duncan chuckled. "But Courtney is stubborn. I also think she can win this. So what do you think, cheerleader?"
"Who cares! Both are my friends, and either way, I'll not get the immunity, so I support both of them," said Sammy, raising her face proudly.
"Wow, you're so nice," said Duncan in a snarky tone.
Sammy winked, "of course, I'm the nice one."
Lilly chuckled, she was also supporting Mike, but it was funny. Somehow all of them were quite friendly. Voting any of them out would be hard.
Inside the roulette, Courtney and Mike were stretching out. Chris began to speak from the side of the roulette, using a white loudspeaker.
"Welcome to the last game in our casino, Russian roulette race. It's a shame we can't play explosive bingo. But maybe next time," said Chris while chuckling.
"Why don't any of the games sound fun?" whispered Mike to Courtney, who nodded.
The host ignored them and continued. "The rules are easy. You have to run in the roulette until it stops, then the competitor who reaches the space with the ball wins the challenge."
"But that means the faster one can lose if the ball falls in a space behind them," said Courtney in an upset voice.
"Who said that roulette is fair? It's a casino game, strategy and good luck are also a factor. So get ready, we'll get started soon," said Chris chuckling, then he looked at them again. "By the way, be careful. The spaces of the roulette may contain some fun and interesting surprises."
Both competitors began to stretch on the place over the space numbered Zero. Courtney made a small smile.
"It's time I get my revenge after the Velcro challenge. Only that in this challenge you don't have any advantage," said Courtney in a playful tone unusual to her.
"I don't think so. My long legs aren't just for show," replied Mike, stretching one of his legs. "But you can try to prove me wrong."
Both nodded. There was some kind of kinship between them. But before Courtney could reply, she was interrupted by Chris.
"And the challenge begins NOW! Start running," said Chris while sounding an air horn.
Both began to run. The spaces had small divisions the challengers needed to jump. As they started they noticed some spaces had water, sand, or mud inside.
"Why can't he put something like soap or foam, it's always mud or paint," protested Courtney, her capris covered in mud.
"Are you saying Chris knows what soap is?" said Mike, still, not losing speed.
Courtney chuckled. "You're right. That's probably why he uses that tacky perfume."
Both laughed while Chris smirked at them. "If they can chat like that during the challenge, that means I can increase the difficulty, right?."
He then pressed a button on his cane, and the roulette began to spin. They needed to run faster or fall behind. Also, the obstacles began to be more dangerous, like spinning blades and flames.
"They're fake right? He isn't actually trying to hurt us, right?" asked Mike while jumping over a blade.
"It's Chris, so don't try to find out," replied the Latin girl rolling under a wall of fire.
The host smiled amused, while the losers' bench was looking nervously at their friends.
Then Steve and another intern threw a giant ball into the roulette that began to bounce, passing over the contestants.
"Are you kidding me? Does he want to crush us?" shouted Courtney after watching the ball. She then had to limbo to avoid a spinning blade.
"Maybe the ball is made of rubber or something," answered Mike in a nonchalant tone.
She made a smirk. "You're too optimistic."
They kept running, but the girl was a little faster than Mike, yes he was taller and fitter, but avoiding the traps was also harder with his height, while she was really agile and fast. If things went wrong he would lose.
But maybe he could win if there was an accident, an unfortunate accident.
Mike looked at Courtney, and suddenly the huge ball fell over him, crushing him before bouncing again.
"MIKE!" shouted Courtney, but there was nothing she could do. She stopped trying to go back and help him. But Mike wasn't there anymore.
The ball stopped just a few spaces behind her, in the number 21, and next to it was Mike, his face covered in blood and his hair covering his right eye.
He put his foot over the ball. "I reach the space with the ball first, McLean."
There was a small silence as the roulette stopped.
"AND IT'S OVER. Mike wins the challenge and the immunity in a risky and stupid way. But nobody can argue against those results," said Chris in an excited tone.
Courtney ran at Mike's side. "Are you crazy? You could be seriously injured."
"I know, but I just couldn't just give up and lose." He replied in a sad tone, his hair back to normal. "Also I sometimes just have to let some steam out. Believe me, it's for the best."
Courtney wasn't sure about what he said when the interns came with the medical kit to take care of his injury.
"Ok, losers, the casino is officially closed for today. See you at tonight's elimination at the campfire ceremony," said Chris making an exaggerated bow.
The 6 campers went out of the casino while Mike went to the infirmary. Tonight would be another hard votation.
Confessional: Courtney
"I was so close. I can't believe he just did some dangerous trick to win," said Courtney, not hiding her frustration. "Also it was weird. Why did he do that? I need to talk with him later."
Confessional: Mike
The thin man was rubbing his arm. "Ok, that hurt, but I needed to make a decision at that moment and catching the ball seemed like the best option." He then laughed nervously. "Oh, and the ball was made of metal and much heavier than it looks. I'll have a headache for the next 3 days."
Behind the cabins, 3 people were sitting, the atmosphere was quite different from two days ago.
Courtney looked at Sammy and Cody and then took a deep breath.
"I'm surprised you came after what happened with Heather. To be honest, I thought you would be angry," said Courtney, looking at the brunette guy's eyes.
But he didn't show any sadness or anger, only a little smile. "Oh c'mon, Courtney, this is only a game after all. There is no use thinking about those who went away."
"Ok, that's really mature," said Sammy, shrugging. "Anyway, we need to decide who will be voting right now."
"How about Lilly?" asked Courtney, rubbing her chin. "She lost first, but her vote could make a difference in the future."
"NO!" said Cody slamming his hands against the table. "She's weak. We need to focus on stronger players. How about Brick? He lost second and didn't have many allies."
Sammy and Courtney were both surprised by the sudden proposal.
"You may be right. Brick is a good candidate. Let's go for him. He's enough to be a threat if he remains in the game," said Courtney, nodding.
The twin bit her tongue. It was obvious that proposing Duncan would be immediately rejected, so she played along. "So Brick it is. It's a shame, he's such a nice guy."
"Yes he is, but only one of us can win the game," said the Latin girl, making a sad sigh.
The brunette guy nodded. There was an awkward silence. Cody was just looking at the girls while Courtney and Sammy looked at each other.
"Then let's meet tonight. Good luck everyone," said Courtney as she stood and left the table.
It was strange because she didn't expect Cody to be so rational about what happened, especially after yesterday's argument. Was she overthinking?
Then she realized that maybe she was too naïve. And decided to feign to go away but come back to watch what Cody and Sammy were doing. As she suspected, they were talking, but she needed to stand closer to hear them.
"So what do you think Cody, it's not a bad proposal, and if we don't act now, we'll be just waiting to be eliminated," said the twin, in an upset tone.
Cody nodded. "I understand your proposal, but I agreed to vote for Brick, so I'll vote for Brick."
"But WHY? It doesn't make sense. After all none of them are part of our alliance, and he's more dangerous," said Sammy, trying to sound calm and failing miserably.
"Because I'm like that Sammy. I'm a good, nice and honest guy, so I'll not betray Courtney. I didn't do it in the past, and I won't do it now," said Cody folding his arms.
The twin took a deep breath. "As you wish, but you'll regret it." She then stormed out of there.
Courtney decided to not talk with him, after all she heard enough. It seemed she would need to change her plans.
Confessional: Sammy
"HOW CAN HE BE SO STUPID?" shouted Sammy, looking fiercely at the camera. "Ok, don't get stressed. Just think what your sister would do in this situation. We still have a chance. But it will be hard."
In the infirmary, Mike, Lilly, and Duncan were meeting to talk about tonight's elimination.
"Hahaha, you really risked your neck to win the immunity," said Duncan laughing. "Now, seriously, how are you?"
Lilly was rubbing Mike's back, looking at him with a worried expression.
The thin guy smirked, "Aside from a mild headache, I'm fine. In fact, I feel better than ever."
"You're a weird one Mike," said Duncan shrugging. "Anyway, I wanted to plan tonight's elimination. Do you have someone in mind?"
Mike and Lilly looked at each other. Usually, Duncan had someone in mind.
"I can't think of anyone," lied Mike, he didn't want to lie but couldn't say Duncan either.
"How about Brick?" said Lilly in an unusually loud tone.
Duncan tilted his head. "G.I. Brick, why?"
"He's strong, and right now he's the most dangerous player," lied Lilly, she just wanted to protect Cody. So Brick was the best option. After all, she didn't want to vote for Sammy yet, and Duncan won't vote for Courtney.
"Sounds fair," said Mike rubbing his chin.
Duncan didn't want to vote for him, but there were no more alternatives either. He would need to talk with Courtney later. "Ok so it's Brick tonight."
"That's great, now if you excuse me," said Lilly rushing out of the room (or at least as fast as Lilly could rush).
"Wait!" Mike extended his arm. He needed to talk with her. Why did she run away like that?
Duncan chuckled. "It seems the redhead is afraid of you. Did something happen?"
The spiky-haired guy cursed his luck. "It's nothing, don't worry about it."
"I can call her for you," replied the delinquent, shrugging. "I don't have anything better to do anyway."
Mike nodded. "Then if you see her, please tell her to come to talk with me."
"Ok dude, but you get some rest. I don't want you using that injury as an excuse when I beat you," replied Duncan winking and giving him a fist bump.
He then went out. Mike put his hands behind his head while waiting for his next visitor.
Then she arrived. It was sooner than he expected.
"Ugh! I can't believe that, Cody," she protested before sitting next to his bed. "And how are you feeling? Does your head still hurt?"
Mike shook his head. "I had only a slight headache, but I hope tomorrow I'll be fine." He then made a big smile that showed the gap between his teeth. "It seems the negotiation with Cody didn't go well."
"Don't remind me of that. The stubborn man wanted to vote for Brick because he promised it to Courtney," she rolled her eyes. "I never believed he could be so short-sighted."
"Hehehe, really?" Mike looked at her with wide eyes. "So what will we do? Should we vote for someone else?"
She shook her head. "No, we'll go as planned. We just need Lilly and Brick's vote. What did she say?"
"Hehehe, I'm sorry, she ran away before I could ask her," he said, rubbing his arm.
"WHAT? How could you…" Sammy then took a deep breath and made a big smile. "Oh, don't worry about it. You did your best and that is the mooost important thing."
Mike blinked. "You're angry, right?"
"Of course not. Why do you say that?" replied the twin, still smiling.
"Hehehe, it was just an impression, but maybe I'm wrong," he said, locking his eyes into hers. "You know something, I really am in debt with Amy. I owe her a lot and never had the chance to tell her that."
She tilted her head. "Really? I'm sure she'll be happy to hear that. She also owes you a lot and considers you a close friend."
"And if she needs help in the future, I'm more than glad to oblige. After all, that's what friends are for," he continued, watching her reaction.
"Are you sure? My sister is quite demanding, so she can ask for a lot if you put it like that," said the twin with a playful smile.
"Completely," replied Mike, his smile turning into a more serious expression. "When you got soaked during the robot challenge, I was afraid you would be in trouble. But you're using waterproof makeup."
The twin's face blanched, but then she smirked and lowered her eyebrows. "Of course, you never know when you could have an accident during this show."
"That's so true," he replied, smiling again.
"Also, you surprised me. You're smarter than I thought," she said, shrugging. "So far, only Duncan knew about it."
Mike chuckled. "It happens a lot. It must be I'm too kind, so people think I'm dumber than I really am."
"Hahaha, or maybe the goofy expression," replied the twin in a snarky tone.
"Ouch, that's harsh. It's my expression really that goofy?" asked Mike trying to look offended.
She chuckled. "But you also look cute so don't worry about it."
Both laughed, but then Mike's expression changed into a cold one. "I'm really grateful to Amy, you know she is my first friend."
"Oh, that's not true. There was Cameron and Zoey before her," she said, laughing, not noticing he wasn't doing it.
"I'm not lying. Would you please hear me for a moment without interrupting? It's a short story," said Mike, making a solemn expression that made her heart sink.
The twin nodded. And then Mike talked, it was about 30 minutes later when he finished. She was hugging him, and it definitely wasn't a short story.
Confessional: Mike
"That was really therapeutic. I feel really good after talking with her about my issues," said the former multiple Mike at the camera. "But don't misunderstand me. I really love Cameron and Zoey. It's just that Amy appeared in a very difficult moment in my life."
It was the boathouse. As usual, Courtney was there first. The only time he was first was in the original boathouse in Wawanakwa when he was already there because Chef locked him in.
But this time, she felt really different. There was no anxiety about staying there. Only a nostalgic and forgotten feeling. After all, she was not the same Courtney she was back there, nor the one who was here two days ago.
And again, her thoughts were interrupted by his familiar voice.
"Hello princess, are you here already?" asked Duncan, smirking.
She rolled her eyes playfully. "You're the one who is late again. But I think some things never change."
"What can I say? It's part of my charmful personality," he replied, sticking his tongue out and showing his piercing.
"At least apologize for making me wait in this damp and dark place," she said in a disappointed tone, but her smile betrayed her words.
Duncan made an exaggerated bow. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to waste your precious time like that. However I promise to reflect on my actions."
"Hehe you're impossible," she said snickering, "On my side, we're voting for Brick."
"G.I. Brick? really?" Duncan didn't hide his disappointment, "didn't we talk about eliminating Lilly?"
The Latin girl shrugged. "Cody was adamant in going for Brick, and I didn't want to cause a scene. What about you? Who are you, Lilly and Mike voting for?"
"Also G.I Brick," said Duncan, sighing.
"Then we have an agreement, with your three votes and my three, we have the majority," said Courtney, making a sad smile. "I know you don't want to, but we need to vote for someone."
He ran his hand across his hair. "Maybe if I talk with him, we can vote together and eliminate Lilly or Cody?"
"This isn't like you. Even if we do that, there is still a chance he'll be in a tiebreaker. Why don't you choose the more efficient path?" asked Courtney. Her tone sounded harsh and cold.
"I know, but…" He smirked, "he is just so… him. I knew this day would come…"
The delinquent then sighed. "You're right. Maybe that niceness is contagious because I don't want to vote him out, but we need to do it."
"Contagious? You always had a nice side, yes it was buried under a lot of jerkiness, but it was there," Courtney said, smiling.
"Hey, I wasn't that bad," replied Duncan, smirking.
She chuckled. "Maybe we should ask Harold, or Tyler, or Trent, or-"
"Ok, ok, I got it. Geez you really had a good memory," replied the delinquent, chuckling.
"Of course, my memory is one of my strong points, together with my leadership skills, intelligence, strength and -"
"Your curves?"
"I was about to say my humbleness, but yes also my figure," she said smiling, "And you are a chauvinist swine."
"Oink! Guilty as charged," he replied.
Both then laughed. It was refreshing to enjoy that moment after all those years.
"Duncan, do you believe in death flags[1]?" asked Courtney, putting her hands behind her back.
"Not really, but it's better if you avoid raising any of them," he replied, frowning.
She smirked. "Oooh? So are you scared?"
"I told you I don't, so go ahead and do your worst," said the delinquent, folding his arms.
"As you wish," she cleared her throat and looked him in his eyes. "There is something important I need to tell you. Please meet me at the campfire at midnight."
"What? Are you serious? Asked Duncan looking at her with big eyes. "You can't do that. So now one of us will be eliminated."
She laughed, walking toward the door. "I can't believe you really are scared of those kinds of things."
"I don't believe in them. But there is nothing wrong with being cautious," he said, also walking out of the boathouse.
"Mhm, don't worry I believe you," replied Courtney, but it sounded like she didn't believe him.
Duncan looked at her, his smirk turning into a smile. "You know, you have changed. I don't know how to say it but you feel a lot more-"
"Free?"
"No, happy. It's like you took a weight off your shoulders."
"Probably I did," she replied, walking toward the mess hall. "Maybe I'll tell you about it later."
He shrugged and followed her. He just hoped that her words didn't jinx them.
Confessional: Duncan
He was smiling and leaning against the confessional wall. "I'm not sure what happened but Princess was really playful and happy today. It seems she found the answer to her problem. I just hope…" he then stood silent and shook his head. "Whatever, As long as she's happy I don't care."
It was already time to meet at the campfire. The seven remaining campers were sitting and waiting for Chris. There was a heavy atmosphere around the place.
"Cody, why didn't you come tonight? I was waiting for you," whispered Lilly, looking distressed.
Cody gave her a puzzled expression and then rubbed his neck, making a little smile. "Oh, I'm sorry. There were some issues I needed to resolve."
"Don't worry, but tell m-" The treehugger sentence was interrupted by Chris.
"Good night campers, I like those expressions. I hope tonight's ceremony is as exciting as ever," said Chris, making his classic smile. He was holding the plate with 6 marshmallows and dressed as usual.
Duncan chuckled. "Always talking about the excitement of the ceremony. Shouldn't you update your repertoire?"
"Thanks Duncan, just when we eliminated Heather, you came and replaced her. Why do you enjoy bothering poor moi?" said Chris rolling his eyes.
"Yes, yes. You suffer so much Chrissy," said Sammy in a snarky tone. "Can you stop playing the victim and end your silly discourse so we can vote?"
The host glared at her. "Please stop hanging with Duncan. You're turning into a jerk like him," the campers looked at him with tired and bothered expressions. Only Cody chuckled at Chris's joke.
The host shrugged."We have a tough crowd tonight. Anyway, you know the tune, I have 6 marshmallows on this plate, and I'll give one to each one of you. The one who doesn't get one of these bad boys will wear the vest of failure and ride the chopper of shame out of the island FOR-EVER."
"Nice as always Chris, really professional, can we vote now?" asked Courtney in a snarky tone, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, yes, go and vote for your least favorite camper," he said, sighing. "I wish you appreciated all the effort I put in making this show as entertaining as possible."
The campers ignored Chris's complaints and went to the votation booth. Today's elimination would be a hard one.
Vote confessional: Mike
"I'm not sure what will happen but it's nothing personal my friend. After I win the game, I will buy you some drinks," said Mike pressing a button on his tablet.
Vote confessional: Courtney
"Death flags eh? I love those silly superstitions," she said while voting. "Also, I don't really want to vote for him but, aside from Lilly I don't really want to vote for anyone."
Vote confessional: Lilly
"I don't know who I should vote for. Should I vote with Sammy or with Duncan?" She then timidly voted on her tablet. "Well, it's better than not voting for anyone."
There was some static before showing Chris again.
"This was a really fun elimination. I admit that even if you're rude and childish when it comes to voting, you really give us a nice performance," said Chris, making a big smile.
He then laughed, "But tonight, it was for naught because it's time for our sixth DAM elimination, so your vote doesn't count. And it was such a shame because tonight was a really good one. But as you know, this isn't a democracy."
"And tonight least popular contestant and Total Drama Tyranny of the masses 7th place is . . . "

"Cody."
"Darn it, not again," said the brunette guy snapping his fingers.
Lilly covered her mouth. "Oh no, please no."
"Oh, yes please, yes," said Chris, chuckling, "Now please come with me, Codster, you have a flight to take."
Cody sighed, stood up, and began to follow Chris to the docks. He was followed by Courtney, Sammy, and Lilly.
Duncan just glared at him at a distance without uttering a word while Mike and Brick looked at him solemnly.
"Hahaha, look at that Cody, only girls came to say goodbye, well played," said Chris in a playful tone.
"The title of Codemeister isn't just for show," replied Cody, wiggling his eyebrows as he put on the vest.
"Cody, I'll miss you. You were such a kind teammate," said Sammy, giving him a big hug.
"You were also awesome Sammy, it was a pleasure," replied the brunette boy.
Then Courtney stepped forward, offering him a handshake. "I guess it's your turn now. Please say hello to Heather."
He returned the handshake, "Of course, and good luck with the game Court."
Finally, it was the turn of Lilly. She was still crying and sniffing.
"I-I will miss you," said the treehugger.
"Lil, you need to be strong. You need to win this game. I know you have what it's needed. Please don't give up," said Cody in a tender voice.
Lilly nodded wildly. "I'll do my best."
"And about your confession, I-"
Her eyes sparkled, looking at him with hope, but before Cody could reply to her feelings, he was dragged away by the chopper of shame.
"No! Cody," shouted Lilly in a low voice.
Cody shouted as he was dragged by the chopper of shame. The sudden pull made his reply unintelligible.
Chris laughed at the scene. "Love stories, how I love them. But with the lover boy out of the game, what will happen with Courtney and Sammy's alliance? What will the campers do with the menace of Mike, who seems stronger than ever? And can Lilly keep her promise and win the competition? Find out in the next exciting episode of Total Drama, Tyranny of the Masses."

(Total Drama TotM Ep 20, Elimination ceremony uncut version, not shown on tv)
"This was a really fun elimination. I admit that even if you're rude and childish when it comes to voting, you really give us a nice performance," said Chris making a big smile.

"Didn't you say that after the top 7 there wouldn't be that kind of tricks," protested Courtney, standing up and pointing at the host.
Chris tsked, waving a finger. "I said players would no be saved by their popularity, but the 2 remaining DAM eliminations will be used as planned."
The Latin girl sat and folded her arms. Maybe mocking fate and those silly death flags wasn't a good idea after all.

"Cody."
"Darn it, not again," said the brunette guy snapping his fingers.
Lilly covered her mouth. "Oh no, please no."
"Wait! That's impossible," said Courtney standing up again. "I can accept it when we were at the top 11, but here doesn't make sense."
Chris raised his arms. "Please Courtney, calm down. The public decisions are absolute. This isn't a democracy, remember? It's a Tyranny."
"I don't care. You're twisting the rules to eliminate whoever you want! I can't believe Cody is less popular than Lilly or Brick." She then turned to face them. "No offense."
"Non taken," said Lilly.
"Don't worry ma'am," replied Brick saluting, "I also find this situation quite unconventional."
Chris pointed at them menacingly. "Well, this is my show, so if I say he is eliminated, then he's out of the game. Cody go to the port and put on the vest of failure."
"C'mon guys, I thank you, but Chris is right, let's just do as he says," replied Cody with a little smile, standing up and walking to the dock.
"Wait a moment Codster. First we need to hear McLean answers to Princess questions," Duncan then faced the host. "I know he did some devious eliminations in the past, but at least try to seem fair in this one."
"But is his show, there is no much to do," replied the brunette guy, he then put the vest of failure. "At least someone come with me to say goodbye."
Lilly stood up and ran to his side. "Please Cody, don't rush things. We still can try to reason with him."
"They're right Chris, your attitude is ruining everything. What credibility will have the show if you act like this?" asked Mike, glaring daggers at him.
Chris put his hands over his chest with a pained expression. "I don't know what more can I do. The fans voted, and he's the least popular DAM analyzed the votes."
"But someone could have hacked into DAM," said Lilly in a fierce tone, unusual to her.
"That's impossible. I have said it a hundred times. DAM is the best computer in the world. It can't be hacked," said the host rolling his eyes. "Chef do it."
Then Chef hooked Cody and took him away, in front of the awed contestants.
"Why did you do that? We were still discussing his elimination," shouted Courtney stomping her foot.
"NO ,YOU are discussing the elimination. I don't have any doubts. And keep doing this, and I'll eliminate you too," said Chris, in a furious tone completely out of place.
Duncan stood up and put an arm in front of her. "Are you crazy? If you eliminate Courtney for something silly like this, you'll have to eliminate me too."
"Don't try to threaten me just because you're a little popular with the fans Duncan," Chris ran a hand across his hair and pointed at him. "I can eliminate both of you and say it was a triple elimination."
"Make it quadruple," said Mike standing up and folding his arms.
Brick also stood up, saluting. "Your childish attitude it's an embarrassment to your job as host. I should join the other campers in this protest."
"I'll regret it," said Sammy standing up too. "Make it sixtuple. If we're going home, let's go all together."
"Are you mocking me? I'm the one managing this season. You're only damn pawns in this show," said the host, glaring at everyone.
Lilly walked back from the dock, glaring at him. "We're not pawns, and without us you can't film the end of the season." She said, glaring at him. "Also, your system isn't unhackable, and here is the proof."
The treehugger took out Max's device. Chris' jaw dropped as everyone looked at it with curiosity.
"What's that, some piece of junk?" asked Sammy raising an eyebrow, then her eyes went wide. "Wait, isn't that one of Max's silly inventions?"
Chris waved his hands. "Ok, ok we're all tired. Let's stop here. Only Cody is eliminated. So let's forget about the whole incident."
"No, look, with this we can communicate out of the island," said Lilly pushing a button on the device.
After a moment, a voice replied from the other side of the line.
"Hello, this is S-" the man's voice was suddenly cut, and the call finished.
"What? This sounded like a radio," said Chris, laughing nervously. "It's forbidden to have that on the island, but I'm tired, so you can keep it."
The treehugger shook her head. "But it isn't a radio, is a phone, well not a phone but a-" Lilly continued, but her next attempts to call Max failed. It was as if the device was broken.
"Lilly that's not a phone, and I'm tired. Let's see this tomorrow," Chris grumbled as he walked away.
Lilly tried to turn on the device again, but it was in vain.
"Everyone, there is no use to talk here. Come with me. There is a lot of things I want to talk with you," said Courtney at the 5 remaining campers, then they went out of the campfire.
"I know a place we can use," said Lilly, and then guide them to the woods.
The campers meet again near the woods, Lilly discreetly used the contraption to turn off the cameras, and they could talk.
"I can't believe his nerve," said Courtney folding her arms. "This must be the unfairest elimination in all the seasons.
"More than yours on Island when Harold changed the votes?" asked Duncan, winking.
Courtney rolled her eyes. "I didn't mean it literally."
"But I don't understand why this isn't working now," said Lilly pressing the buttons on Max's device, but it didn't startup.
"Why did you want to talk with Steve? If you need him, I can contact him," said Mike, showing a big smile.
The treehugger shook her head. "Steve? No, I wanted to talk with Max."
"Max? but the one who picked up was Steve," replied the former multiple Mike. "I'm sure it was him. I basically talk with him every day."
"Wait, why was Steve answering that evil gnome's piece of junk?" asked Sammy raising an eyebrow.
Just as they were wondering about that, the chopper of shame came back to the island.
But instead of going to the heliport, it began to go down quickly, crashing into the woods near them.
"What the hell!" shouted Duncan, standing in front of Courtney.
"C'mon soldier, there may be people injured," shouted Brick running in the direction of the chopper.
The 6 remaining campers run toward the crash site, but what they found left them dumbfounded.
Two persons were standing near the crash site. One of them looked at them.
"Greetings my friends, we need your help. There is something evil hiding in the deeps of this island."
