"So I'm not going to go. When Aizawa-sensei gets here - I'm going to convince him that I'm going to stay. And I'm not going to take no for an answer."
For the next few seconds, the house was in complete silence by Izuku's declaration, with only the rain spitting against the kitchen window being the only ambient sound throughout the house. In the kitchen, Itsuka slowly turned to stare at Izuku, unknowingly keeping the mop in the puddle of water on the kitchen floor. The girls in the living room, meanwhile, each turned their stare to Izuku and gave him a blank look as he made his intentions clear in a tone that did not match the situation, acting as though he had just announced he would be going out to grab some milk instead of fighting with his very scary homeroom teacher about staying in a house full of girls.
For his part, Izuku tried to look as determined as he felt - he had been nervous about telling the girls what he wanted to do, but after Itsuka's tearful confession in the bathroom about not wanting him to move out, and slowly putting the pieces together from his interactions with the girls in the last few days (god, Ibara even asked him directly yesterday not to go, how did he not pick up on what she actually meant!), he wanted to make sure the girls knew that he wanted to stay with them in this house, preferably permanently.
As the seconds dragged by, however, he couldn't help but feel himself falter by the absolute lack of reaction from any of the girls, who were continuing to stare dumbly at him. Clearing his throat subconsciously, Izuku blushed a little bit, and glanced from one girl's blank stare to another, feeling his confidence become more and more uncertain by the minute.
"Um ... guys?"
Nothing from that. The girls continued looking like Izuku like he had grown a second head and they couldn't quite comprehend it.
"Are - are you guys okay? Should I -"
"Parsley," Setsuna finally muttered, raising one hand to hold her forehead while she sighed in exasperation, "I'm about two seconds from coming over there and kicking your butt."
"H-huh?!" Izuku balked, staring at her in shock and taking a small step backwards from the couch. "But - but why?!"
"Because -" Setsuna lowered her hand to look at him properly, giving him a tired, exasperated look, "we would have loved to hear you want to stay like - Monday."
"H-huh?"
"Izuku," Itsuka finally said from the kitchen, sounding as exhausted as Setsuna did as she leaned the mop against the table so it didn't fall over and then leaned slightly on the counter, "I don't know if you've noticed, but we've been - very fucking stressed about you moving out all week long. Like - man, I think I had a nightmare about it Tuesday night. And you couldn't have had this idea like - two days ago? Instead of - you know - ten whole minutes before the teachers come to move you out?"
"... oh." Izuku faltered, and felt himself shrink into himself as he realized what they meant, "I, uh ... I didn't think of ... that."
"Clearly," Ibara sighed, leaning against the comfy chair where Pony had taken Itsuka's seat, the horse girl giggling a bit lowly while shaking her head. "I ... alright. You want to stay. I - I don't believe any of us would have objections to that."
"Nope!" Kinoko shook her head. "Not a chance."
"I know I was acting like I was about to kick your butt," Setsuna gave him a more sincere smile, "but no one's complaining that you want to stay, Parsley. If they did, it's their butt I'd kick."
"In any case," Ibara continued on, looking over to Izuku with a small look of concern, "do you have a plan? Is there anything you need us to do?"
"A - a plan?" Izuku blinked.
"... to convince Aizawa to let you stay?" Ibara raised her eyebrow, feeling a thud in her heart as the other girls looked over at Izuku, exasperation starting to etch on their own faces as they looked at his sudden reddening face from embarrassment. "You - you do know what you're going to say to him to encourage him to let you stay? Or - oh, goodness, why am I even asking, you don't have a plan at all, do you?"
"I - uh -" Izuku stammered, glancing down at the floor while the other girls groaned a bit, hitting their foreheads with the palms of their hands or shaking their heads at Izuku's idiocy. "I, uh - you - um - no. No, I don't. I was just … going to kinda wing it? And be really stubborn?"
"Oh, goodness gracious," Ibara sighed, shaking her head again.
Izuku gave them an apologetic look, which only really prompted Kinoko to take some pity on him and pet his hair again while everyone let out reluctant giggles at his density, which prompted him to smile sheepishly.
"W-well, anyway ..." Izuku sighed again, leaning against the couch, and then shook his head. "I'm just ... yeah, if I'm being honest, I think I'm going to just say screw it and tell him I'm not moving out. That'll be my plan, and I'll go from there. I don't exactly have any time to think of a better option."
"That's ... not really a plan," Yui shrugged, "but I can't exactly complain since that's the only plan that's been offered. So what the hell, let's go with that."
"Right," Reiko nodded as well, leaning back on the couch, "so Midoriya will just tell the teachers he doesn't want to move out, and we'll - we'll go from there. Pony, be prepared to cry for pity points."
"Gotcha!"
The other girls giggled at Pony's goofy thumbs up, although they didn't really look certain about how Izuku was going to convince Aizawa to stay, already thinking of several holes in his plan - like what would happen if Aizawa just physically dragged Izuku out of the house instead of convincing him - but still, it was better than having no plan. Izuku nodded a bit slowly, and continued to lean against the couch, closing his eyes and letting Kinoko continue to pet his soft hair while Itsuka finished mopping up in the kitchen, moving the bucket back to the laundry room, and then returning to look back out the window of the living room, pausing for a second to stroke Pony's hair before she went to watch for the teachers.
While she moved away, Pony glanced amongst the girls and Izuku, biting her lip a bit as she remembered what they were supposed to discuss later today, and let out a small sigh.
"Hey, uh … I know that we said we were gonna talk later about - y'know, the relationship stuff," she muttered, "but if we're going to do this, can we talk about relationships tomorrow? Convincing the teachers to let you stay is already going to take years off my life, I don't wanna have another stressful talk today after that."
"That sounds ... very fine," Izuku sighed, looking up at the ceiling for a second and glancing back down at the girls gathered around the living room, feeling his heart thumping a bit in his chest from anxiety of what he had to do when his teacher arrived.
"So," he said, sounding a little uncertain, "you guys are sure that you're okay if I - if I fight Aizawa on this? I can always just -"
"Oh, a hundred percent!" Setsuna smirked.
"I will literally fight him if that means you could stay." Itsuka nodded.
"Well, maybe you shouldn't actually fight him, I feel that you would lose, Itsuka," Ibara noted, although she smiled as well, "but in any case, I am also for you fighting to stay here."
Pony, Kinoko, Reiko and Yui also nodded at him, while he smiled softly and wiped some tears from his eyes that had unexpectedly built up, and glanced back up at the girls. "I ... okay. Okay. Thanks, guys, I was just - I'm going to be honest, I'm very nervous about this, but - but I'm going to do my best."
As the girls smiled at him and Kinoko continued stroking his hair, Itsuka glanced out the window again, to double check if someone was coming up the path towards their house - and then she felt her heart skip a beat when she saw, coming from behind a tree, two familiar figures coming from around the corner, talking about something between themselves while leading a group of robots holding umbrellas to protect them from the rain and prevent them from short-circuiting from water getting into them. Each of the robots held carts that would be used to move boxes, meaning that she knew exactly what they were here for.
"They're coming," she announced, and the other girls quickly looked over at her as she turned from the window, feeling herself start to shake a bit from unexpected anxiety, glancing back up at Izuku as he stopped leaning against the couch and stood up. Izuku stared vacantly at nothing for a few seconds, feeling his heart beat hard in his chest, but then took a deep breath to calm himself, and let Kinoko's hand fall from his hair, although he was quick to raise his own hand to stroke her soft, brown hair to comfort her when he saw her shaking a bit as well.
"I ..." He hesitated for a second, and then shook his head and felt his determination return to him as he looked around at the girls, who had glanced up at him and were taken aback by the absolute certainty on his face.
"I'm not moving out," he repeated, being sure to look each girl in the eye as he reiterated his determination, "and that's final."
"She's been calling him 'papa'."
"Wait ... seriously?"
Aizawa's glare bored a hole into the ground as he stomped towards the house. "Seriously."
Vlad King honestly wanted to laugh at that, but he felt that, for his own safety, he should avoid making his coworker any more annoyed than he already was about that topic. They were walking down the path towards the Class 1B girls' dorm house, leading a few robots through the rain and hearing them grumbling about rust and minimum wage behind them, but thankfully in low tones so the two teachers could pretend they didn't hear them. Vlad had wanted to come with Aizawa to get Izuku over to where he belonged in the 1A boys dorm house, both to help with anything the girls might need when Izuku moved out, and to also sincerely thank Izuku for being such a good sport about the whole staying with the girls, even though the beginning definitely was bumpy - after that, however, Vlad was happy that nothing of that scale happened again, and didn't hear any complaints from the girls. So a good handshake and pat on the back for Izuku was probably in order.
And then, as they walked from the main campus to the house, Aizawa had brought up what Eri had been doing for the last week or so since she had attended Izuku's birthday party, and Vlad had to try his hardest not to start laughing uproariously - although he was certainly struggling now.
"So ..." Vlad chuckled, "... if Midoriya's papa, then who's 'mama'?"
"No idea," Aizawa shook his head, pursing his lips slightly. "She has been calling Midoriya 'papa' accidentally for the last week and always apologies when I call her own for it, but when I ask who 'mama' is, she always gives me a different answer. Yesterday it was Kendou, this morning it was Shiozaki, and then probably tomorrow it'll be Tokage or Tsunotori. Then it'll probably be Komori, then Yanagi, then Kodai. And then rinse and repeat."
"Heh."
"It's not all that funny, Vlad," Aizawa shook his head, obviously not seeing the humor in all this, "she's viewing them as parental figures. Two nineteen-year olds and six eighteen-year olds, and she can't stop herself from addressing them as her parents - not to mention that if she ends up accidentally saying that she has seven mothers in a public place, that's going to eventually be eyebrow raising - and give the girls a lot of trouble."
"Well - there's not much you can do about it, is there? You can't exactly stop her from viewing them in that light."
"No," Aizawa grumbled, "she keeps asking if she can go over and hang out with them, or having a sleepover with them, or going to their class to sit with them. I swear to god, she wasn't like this with the Big Three or any of the kids she was rescued by, like Uraraka or Asui or Kirishima - I won't lie, I'm half tempted to just say fuck it and have her move in with them and just be done with it."
"Heh, well," Vlad King chuckled, seeing the building in question come into view, "at least there'll be room in the attic, once Midoriya's moved out. And it might be good for Eri to hang out with other girls? I don't imagine that she hangs out with many girls nowadays, what with Hadou already graduating - might be one of the reasons why she got attached to the 1B girls."
"The only problem with that," Aizawa sighed, "is that eventually, they'll have to graduate and leave the school to get on with their lives. We really can't get Eri attached to them in that way - if she starts looking up to any of the girls in your class as mother figures, she's going to be heartbroken when they inevitably have to leave. And I don't imagine the girls would be enthusiastic about - god, even adopting a little girl when they're busy getting work as heroes, I have no idea how I even do it now and I'm only underground.."
"... sorry Eraser," Vlad King raised an eyebrow, "but adoption? I think you're overthinking this a bit too much. Eri's just calling the girls her mamas, and Midoriya her papa. It's not like you have to thrust her onto them and tell them to raise her for the rest of their lives - that's going a bit too far, right?"
"You say that," Aizawa raised an eyebrow, "but we both know that if I told Problem Child that he has to raise Eri, he'd do it in a heartbeat."
"Let's not bring it up to him then. Although that little fact will be nice to rub in the girls' faces if they ever try to blackmail me again." Vlad chuckled again as they walked up the porch of the house, closing their umbrellas once they got under cover and leaving the robots to stand under the rain as they knocked on the door and waited for Izuku to open the door. They only had to wait a few moments before they heard the sound of feet on the other side of the door, and soon, it opened to reveal Izuku, gulping nervously and staring up at his teachers. Behind him, they could see the girls sitting around the living room, not looking at anyone or at the teachers, and near the door was a pile of boxes - which would be Izuku's stuff, the things that they needed to get to the other side of the forest.
"Good," Aizawa nodded, "I assume that you got all of your things packed up. We'll let the robots in to grab them, you can thank the 1B girls for having you, and then we'll head to the school to have Power Loader make you the new key for -"
"Um."
Aizawa paused in his speech when Izuku suddenly interrupted him in a low mutter, glancing back from the boxes to him, and seeing his student staring at the floor as though suddenly unsure of where he should look. Out of the corner of their eyes, they could see the girls shifting some in their seats, none of them daring to look up, but Aizawa's attention was drawn back to Izuku as he finally took a deep breath and glanced back up at the two teachers, clearing his throat a bit.
"Um - I was -" Izuku glanced away for a second time, before shaking his head slightly, trying to calm himself down and looking back up at his homeroom teacher, "I was wondering if I could speak to you both? P-privately?"
Vlad King and Aizawa exchanged a glance between them, raising their eyebrows at that, but shrugged and nodded. With that, Izuku stepped out onto the front porch and closed the front door, letting the teachers back up some near the window while he turned to face them, clearing his throat again and glancing over at the robots waiting in the rain.
"Er ... um ... okay," Izuku sighed, rubbing a face against his face. "I, uh ... I'm sorry, by the way, for not - you know, letting you know this before today, but ... um ..."
"Midoriya," Aizawa raised his other eyebrow, staring tiredly at his student, "we don't really have all day here. What's going on?"
"Er - right! Okay, um ... well, the truth is ..." Izuku faltered for a second, and then shook his head and looked up at the two teachers with a look of conviction. "I've ... been talking to the girls for the past week, and they - they told me that they didn't want me to move out. And ... I've thought about it, and - and I realized that I would rather not move out either. None of us want me to move out, so ... I'd ..." He took another deep breath, and then sank into a bow, "... I apologize for asking you at such short notice, but I'd like to stay."
At that, silence fell on the front porch of the house, while the robots near the driveway robotically complained about the rain. Izuku didn't dare look up at his teachers as they calmly regarded him, staring down at him with unreadable expressions ... until Aizawa let out a small sigh, and crossed his arms.
"... you want to stay here."
"Y-yes."
"And you just ..." He let out a small exhale. "... you did speak to the girls about this."
"I did."
"And they want you to stay."
"T-that's right."
"And if I were to go in right now and ask," Aizawa gestured with his head, "they'd say the same thing?"
"T-they would."
Both Aizawa and Vlad continued to study Izuku as he remained in his bow, as though he feared looking up at his teacher and seeing his reaction, until Aizawa leaned against the side of the house, pretending not to see the girls watching them out the window.
"... and what if I say no?"
Izuku winced.
"What if I tell you 'no' right now, Midoriya?" Aizawa continued to press, not showing any change to his facial expression or tone to comfort or relieve his student. "What if I tell you to stop being foolish about this, open the door to let the robots grab your stuff, and go back to your actual dorm house? You haven't really given me any reason why I should consider this, after all. All you've said is that they don't want you to go, and you don't want to go, so you shouldn't go. It's more practical to have you move back in with the other guys in your actual class - the only reason you're here is because that dorm room was destroyed, after all, and you did this knowing that this wouldn't be forever. So with that in mind, Midoriya, I'm going to say 'no' to letting you stay with the 1B girls. But what is your response to that?"
Izuku paused for a very long time, continuing to stare at the porch while shaking slightly. Aizawa and Vlad King exchanged another glance, before Aizawa sighed, realizing that Izuku pretty much had no defense for Aizawa's thought process, and was about to gesture to the robots to move into the house to get his things when the boy muttered, "I'm still insisting I stay."
Aizawa blinked, and then looked back around as Izuku finally raised his head. There were a few tears in his eyes, but he quickly wiped them away so that he could look back up at his teacher as confidently as he could.
"I ... I won't lie to you, sensei," Izuku admitted, "there isn't a practical reason I want to stay. It's not like - you're right, sensei, I know that this wasn't supposed to be forever, I know that I was expected to move out once the room was done. But ... but after everything I - that we -" He sighed, shaking his head as though trying to refocus his thoughts, before he felt his eyes turn determined and looked back up at Aizawa, "- Sensei, I'm sorry, I don't have a good reason for why I should stay - but I'm not moving out of this house. Even if you try to force me to."
Aizawa and Vlad stared at him for a second, seeing the sheer determination in his gaze, and then glanced at each other. Vlad narrowed his eyes somewhat, but shrugged as well, leaving it up to Aizawa to make the call. The erasure hero thought for a moment, his mouth thinning into a line, and then sighed and pulled out his phone.
"This," he grumbled, "can't be up to just me or Vlad to decide. Midoriya, go back inside the house - we're not done with this conversation at all, but I'm willing to talk it out with you and the girls in length. We'll be in in twenty minutes - there's a few people I want to bring in before any decisions are made. Thank god they were patrolling today anyway."
Izuku blinked, but quickly realized that Aizawa was at least willing to hear him out, so he quickly nodded, bowed again, and turned to open the door again, stepping in and closing it behind him softly. Aizawa let out a small groan, shaking his head from the unexpected headache he was going to have today, and moved to pull out his phone to call a few people - he was not going to be the only person having a headache today, not if he could help it.
"You can fool the kid," Vlad raised an eyebrow, leaning against the wall of the house and giving his collegue a judgemental stare, "but you can't fool me."
"Oh?"
"You're considering letting him stay," Vlad noted, folding his arms, "if you really wanted him moved out, you wouldn't be giving him a chance to think up a reason to let him stay and just tie him up and drag him back to his actual room. So why are you calling people over? Why didn't you just say yes?"
"The same reason I told Kendou yesterday," Aizawa smirked to himself, pleased at the little mind games he was playing on the girls, "they need to give me a practical reason why he should stay. Right now, they're just acting out of personal feelings for him, not actual rationality - so I'll play the bad cop here. They want him to stay? They're going to have to give me a reason I can accept. Besides, I'm interested in what reasons they can think up - I've thought up counters to anything they can say, so let's see if they can actually convince me."
"And if they do convince you? To let him stay? What happens to the room over at 1A?"
"Don't worry about that, Vlad - I have a backup plan for the room, just in case."
"Heh," Vlad shook his head, smirking slightly, "you're getting a bit softer, aren't you, Eraserhead?"
"You can't prove that."
Inside the house, Izuku sighed as he shut the door, rubbing a hand against his face from how unnerving that was, relieved that it somewhat worked, and glanced back up at the girls as they looked nervously up at him as he shakingly took off his shoes.
"So?" Ibara pursed her lips, looking about as worried as Izuku felt.
"They're willing to hear us out." He confirmed with them, kicking off his sandals to walk back over to the couch. "Aizawa-sensei is just going to call someone to come over and talk with us too - I'm not sure if he's calling another teacher or someone else."
Rather than give them some relief, however, the other girls only glanced nervously between each other and settled back against their seats, Pony and Kinoko scooting some to let Izuku sit in between them as Itsuka sighed and sat down on the loveseat beside Yui, glancing at the stoic girl and exchanging a worried glance with her. For a few minutes, the group sat in uncomfortable silence, glancing up at the window to see Aizawa talking to someone on the phone as he looked out at the rain, while Vlad went to the group of robots to explain the situation (they saw a lot of flailing from the robots and Vlad crossing his arms in contempt as he barked at them) before they all let out small sighs and slumped back in their seats.
"God, this is so freaking stressful," Kinoko groaned, rubbing her face with one hand while Reiko wrapped an arm around her for a bit of comfort. "Just say he can stay! Don't get our hopes up and then kick us in the shrooms!"
"We'll have to just ..." Reiko hesitated, but shook her head and glanced around again. "We'll wait for them to come in, and - and just talk it out. That's all we really can do - and just hope that Aizawa's in a generous mood."
"So ..." Ibara glanced around, pursing her lips slightly, "... I know that Aizawa's probably going to want Izuku to explain why he should stay, but - but should we all also say something? Or should it be one person that speaks on behalf of all of us? Or should that person just be Izuku? I apologize for sounding confusing, but - truth be told, I'm not sure how we're supposed to go about this."
The other girls blinked at Ibara's question, and then glanced around at each other as though not sure how to answer, or if someone was going to talk for everyone in the room. Izuku gulped, and then leaned forward slightly, Pony and Kinoko glancing at him as he sighed.
"I, uh, I think they're going to ask me to speak anyway," he shrugged a bit, but still going a bit pale at the thought of being at the mercy of his teacher's red filled glare, "so maybe ..."
"How about - if they ask if someone from our house can talk, I'll do it." Itsuka offered, from her own spot on the love seat in between Yui and Setsuna. "I'm technically the class rep - they might take us a bit more seriously if it's me giving reasons why you should stay. If Aizawa asks us individually, we can answer them, but if someone has to talk for the majority of the house, if you guys want, I can do it?"
The other girls glanced amongst themselves, seeing no real problem with that, and gave their class representative a nod, everyone smiling at her offer, and not noticing as Aizawa's attention was turned to someone approaching the house. Setsuna sat back a bit to glance at Itsuka, and then her eyes trailed down to her neck towards something that was obvious from the tank top the orange-haired girl was wearing, and felt herself smirk a bit despite the tense situation that was unfolding before them.
"Although," she teased, and Itsuka turned to her when she realized she was being addressed, "if you are going to be talking for us, before they actually come in, you might wanna put on a shirt that - you know - don't show what you were up to last night."
"Huh?" Itsuka blinked, glancing down at her tank top in confusion for a moment as though unsure how it would be unpresentable - and then her eyes widened a bit. After raising a hand to her neck and wincing slightly, she quickly hopped up from her spot on the love seat and jogged into the bathroom, flipping on the light and running in. The other girls and Izuku turned in confusion as they heard her yelp in embarrassment from within the bathroom, and then, before anyone could get up to ask if she was okay, Itsuka quickly ran back out, blushing bright red and looking a bit panicked while she held her neck.
"God damn it, I forgot about the hickeys," she muttered in embarrassment, which made Izuku squeak and go red as well when he finally realized she was covering the obvious bite marks littered around her neck and collar, and saw her glance up at the stairwell. "I should run upstairs before they come in and -"
"Oh!" Pony gasped, looking out the window as Aizawa moved around the corner, opening his mouth to say something. "I think they're here!"
"Shit!" Itsuka cursed, looking wildly about as though something in the living room could help her magically get rid of the hickeys - and then her eyes fell to the boxes in the corner. Letting out a small curse, she quickly jogged over to the pile, opening one box and looking inside, and glanced up as Vlad also moved with Aizawa, with the girls hearing muffled voices outside the door.
Shaking her head, she grabbed one of Izuku's sweaters from inside and quickly put it on, making Izuku squeak at the sight of her in his clothes and glancing away awkwardly, while the other girls sniggered a little bit at his reaction. As the doorknob started turning, Itsuka was quick to close the box up tight, and then, glancing behind her and feeling her eyes bulge out of her head, sprinted over to kick the clothes that she and Izuku had left behind during their make out last night through the open laundry room door (and cursing herself for just forgetting about them after Izuku's little bombshell about wanting to stay), just as the front door opened and Vlad King poked his head in.
"Hey, girls," he nodded, "I assume that Midoriya kept you updated on what's going on - we managed to get them here quicker than we thought, they were in the area. Do you mind if we come in now?"
"Y-yeah!" Itsuka nodded quickly, her voice coming out a bit squeaky from the embarrassment and making Setsuna roll her eyes into the back of her head from the obvious lack of subtlety. "C-come on in, sensei!"
Vlad nodded, and opened the door fully to let the other teachers in to begin their debate. Behind him came Aizawa first, sighing a bit and rolling a kink in his neck as he took off his wet boots at the front door and strolled into the house, bright pink socks on his feet making the girls deliberately avoid eye contact with each other lest they accidentally burst into laughter (which definitely would not help their standing with the quirk erasing teacher, seeing as they had a suspicion he would be their main opposition here). Coming in after him, to Izuku's surprise, was All Might, closing his umbrella with a snap and putting it in the umbrella rack beside the door, flashing the girls a peaceful smile and nodding. Behind him, closing her own umbrella, was Midnight, who shook some of the rain out of her long hair with a look of displeasure, shivering slightly in her hero costume as she bent down to take off her heels, pouting some when she shook some water out of them. And coming in right behind her -
"Oooooh, crap," Setsuna muttered, going a bit pale while the other girls cringed slightly, and Izuku almost swallowed his tongue.
"Good afternoon, girls!" Principal Nezu smiled up at everyone, closing his own umbrella and bending over to take off his orange sneakers that were wet from the rain. "Aizawa tells me that there's a situation with Midoriya moving out, so he requested I come and speak with you all with him!"
"Er - good afternoon, Principal Nezu," Ibara timidly greeted their principal, standing up and bowing. "Would - would you like some tea?"
"Oh, only if it's offered!" Nezu nodded happily. "Any kind that you may have, Shiozaki, I enjoy them all."
Ibara nodded timidly, and quickly moved to the kitchen to get some tea ready.
"Now then," Nezu clapped his paws, turning to the rest of the group. "I understand that Midoriya does not wish to move out of the dorm house?"
"Er ..." Izuku was uncertain for a second, clearly shaken up - he hadn't expected Aizawa to bring in the principal to this situation, but it did make sense to include him in this situation - "... that's - that's correct, sir."
"Hm," Nezu itched his cheek lightly, turning to Aizawa. "So you wished to debate this?"
"If you want," Aizawa shrugged, "Midoriya wants to fight with me about staying here, I say we fight about it. I want to use you as a moderator, sir - ultimately, the final decision will be up to you."
"Very well!" Nezu clapped his paws together again, enthusiastic to debate this matter in an entertaining way, and turned to the comfy chair. "In that case, I suggest everyone take a seat - we may be here for a while."
The others nodded, and the girls were quick to jump up to let the teachers sit on the more comfortable furniture while they grabbed the chairs from the table. Midnight and All Might sat together on the loveseat, while Vlad chose to sit down on the left end of the couch, and Aizawa opted to stand, while Nezu hopped into the comfy seat and settled in, smiling happily as he sank into the cushions. Once the girls had taken the seats from the dining room into the living room, Vlad gave them an encouraging smile, and let Itsuka and Kinoko sit with him on the couch. Meanwhile, Setsuna, Reiko, Pony, and Izuku sat on the kitchen chairs, sitting down and glancing awkwardly at the group amassed in their living room, with Izuku glancing at All Might and feeling a bit better when his mentor gave him an encouraging smile and nod. Ibara finished making the tea for Nezu, turning off the oven top when the kettle started whistling, and then poured and brought a cup to Nezu, who accepted it gratefully and took a careful sip.
"Mmmmm ... raspberry," he mused, "one of my favorites. Thank you, Shiozaki."
"Y-you're welcome, sir."
"Now then," Nezu took another sip, smiling in satisfaction and putting the cup back down on the saucer as Ibara handed another teacup to Midnight, who accepted it with her own smile, "to reiterate, we're all gathered here today so that we can debate whether or not to let Izuku Midoriya stay in the Class 1B girls dorm for the foreseeable future. Is that correct?"
"Right," Aizawa nodded. "I'd also like Midnight and All Might to speak later to listen to their own opinions about the situation."
"Well, then!" Nezu sat forward, looking a bit excited, "I am all for a debate on this matter. Aizawa, I will let you present your reasons why Midoriya should not stay here. Would there be someone from this house that would like to speak for Midoriya? Or would Midoriya himself like to speak up?"
The girls glanced at Itsuka, remembering what they had agreed to before the teachers came in, and she nodded, sitting forward and clearing her throat.
"If, uh, he doesn't mind," she glanced over at him, using her eyes to ask for permission and continuing when he nodded, "he can speak for himself, but I'd like to speak on behalf of the girls."
The teachers turned to Izuku to make sure that it was alright, and were placated when Izuku nodded to everyone, sitting forward a little bit in his seat. Once that was settled, Nezu leaned back in the comfy chair.
"Very well! In that case, let this debate ... begin." Clapping his paws together, Nezu looked to Aizawa. "Now then, Eraser. Why do you believe Midoriya should move out?"
"Right," Aizawa grunted, leaning back against the wall and feeling the eyes in the room on him. "Firstly - Midoriya, girls, know that I'm not trying to make this personal, or that I'm trying to make Midoriya move out because it would hurt your feelings. I'm not trying to tear you guys down or anything, but we had an agreement. I want to know if there's more reason for you guys wanting him to stay other than just because."
Izuku and the other girls glanced amongst themselves, and then nodded at their teacher.
"With that out of the way," Aizawa crossed his arms, while both Vlad and Midnight subtly rolled their eyes, "I'm going to just come out and say this now - I don't see any practical reason why Midoriya should stay in this house. When this all started, we specifically told Midoriya that this would only be a temporary situation while we fixed up his room, and he agreed to that. We hit a few bumps with the robots going on union strike, thus prolonging his stay here, but we were always under the understanding that Midoriya wouldn't be here forever. And when I told Midoriya he'd be moving out on Monday, he didn't offer any complaints, or requested to stay then."
Sighing as he leaned back, Aizawa hid his mouth with his scarf, trying to suppress the smirk on his face from his rational deception. "We might've thought about it more if he came to me or Vlad beforehand - but the fact is, I can't find any practical reason why Midoriya should remain here when we have already put in the time to rebuild his room. And should he remain here, that means rebuilding his room would've been a waste of time, effort and money. I also can't see any reason why Midoriya would want to stay here, besides personal feelings he may feel for the girls."
"Is that so?" Nezu mused, while the girls winced slightly at that assessment.
"Yeah," Aizawa nodded, "and seeing as I can't think of any rational reason for his staying here, there's no logical reason why Midoriya should remain here."
"Hm," Nezu brought the cup to his lips to sip his tea, leaning forward slightly, "it's a fair assessment, Aizawa - unless Midoriya has anything to counter that with?"
Izuku gulped when the eyes of the room trailed back to him, feeling a bit nervous to be under everyone's gaze (whether it be the curious gazes of the teachers, or the worried looks from the other girls) but he caught All Might's eye, who offered him another small smile and a nod. Taking a deep breath, Izuku leaned forward on his chair.
"I, um ... yeah," he muttered, and cleared his throat and glanced up at everyone. "I ... firstly, Aizawa-sensei, I'm sorry about not bringing this up to you or - or Vlad King-sensei sooner. I was - honestly, I was under the impression that you would've made me move out even if I did ask to stay, so I - I couldn't really summon the courage to ask."
Aizawa and Vlad King nodded.
"A-anyway," Izuku shook his head slightly, and sighed, "I - yeah, I - I want to stay. Here. It's just - I, uh ..."
For a second, Izuku found himself at a loss for words, unable to think of exactly what he wanted to say - and how it would be able to stand up to Aizawa's points. As he let out a small sigh, trying desperately to find the words that would be able to convey what he felt, All Might leaned forward, giving Izuku another smile.
"Take your time, Young Midoriya," he advised, "we're not going to rush you. You have time to think of what you want to say."
Izuku pursed his lips, but still nodded weakly at his teacher and sat forward again, staring at the floor for a second and trying to form the words in his mind - before he let out a small sigh.
"... I ... don't see the point in me moving out anymore," he admitted, deciding to just be honest as he looked at his teachers, seeing Aizawa raise an eyebrow, Vlad sit back, Midnight look at him in interest, All Might putting a hand to his chin, and Nezu sipping on his tea, "since - well - I've been here for two months. Almost - almost two months, anyway, but - but it's been a long time since I agreed to stay here. And during that time, I - I believe that nothing's - in regards to my daily life, nothing's really changed." Izuku sighed again, and turned to Aizawa. "S-sensei, can I ask - have my grades slipped at all since I've moved here?"
"No," Aizawa admitted, shaking his head, "in fact, I'd say they've improved somewhat."
"And has he ever been late to class?" Nezu inquired, curious.
"Never."
"Never late to class, despite not living with any of his classmates," Nezu mused, "and as for training - All Might, has there been any changes?"
"Changes?" All Might thought for a second, and then shook his head. "If you mean negative changes, the answer is no, Principal Nezu. Young Midoriya performs as well as he did when he was living in the dorms with his class."
"Y-yeah," Izuku quickly nodded, "and - and with that in mind - if my grades have improved since I moved here, and - and training's been the same - would it - wouldn't it not make sense for me to move out and -"
"One second, Midoriya," Aizawa interrupted, leaning forward slightly, "just to make sure I understand this, you're suggesting that it wouldn't really matter if we moved you back to the 1A dorm house - you'd perform the same as you would here?"
"Y-yes."
"So then, if you would perform the same as you would no matter where you live, why does it matter anyway?" Izuku winced while Aizawa continued, unaware that his homeroom teacher was testing him and the girls. "If you would do as well as you do here at the Class 1A dorm house, why would we let you stay? Sure, your marks have improved - but you're saying that it doesn't matter if you go back to the 1A dorm house, you'll perform the same as you do here. So why should we do that, since there's nothing that you do here that you can't do at your actual house?"
"Ah," Nezu put down his teacup, nodding, "but there is one thing that you're not thinking of, Aizawa."
"And what's that?"
"You are correct, Aizawa, that there's nothing Midoriya does here that he can't do at the 1A dorm house. But the opposite is also true - there's nothing at the 1A house that he can't do there that he can't do here."
"Huh?" Aizawa turned to the principal, "That doesn't make sense."
"Aizawa," Nezu explained to the erasure hero, "from what I've heard now, you are correct - Midoriya could return to the 1A house and not much would change - he would still receive good marks, do well in his training. He'd also get along well with his classmates - so it's not like Midoriya would suddenly go friendless. I imagine that he would adapt well. However, Midoriya is also right - if he could do the same thing here in the 1B dormitories, what's the point in moving him at all? We have received no problems that we didn't already take care of - the girls' behaviors in the first few weeks of Midoriya living here have been addressed by Midnight, and I trust her assessment that it hasn't and will not happen again."
Aizawa stared for a minute, and then slowly turned his gaze back to the students, not truly satisfied with what he's heard so far and willing to challenge them a bit more before he just gave up and let him stay.
"And would they be able to say that what happened during the first few weeks here isn't a contributing factor here?"
Izuku and the girls winced yet again while Aizawa raised his eyebrow. "Because make no mistake," he continued, "from everything Midoriya's said, there isn't a real, practical reason for him to remain in this house - they want him to stay here for personal reasons. Would any of you girls want to disagree with me?"
For a second, the girls glanced amongst themselves, before Itsuka sighed and sat forward.
"You're right, Aizawa-sensei," she told him, "that this is partly - or majorly - motivated by personal feelings. Midoriya ... he's our friend, and a close one at that. I'm not going to deny that - that there are a few here that view him in that particular light."
"Dear lord," Aizawa muttered, shaking his head, while Midnight very lowkey fanned herself at the youthfulness.
"But is that what I understand?" Itsuka inquired, looking at Izuku's homeroom teacher, "You don't want Midoriya here because the reasons he wants to stay are personal?"
"It's not logical," Aizawa nodded, raising his eyebrow as he laid down the challenge and prepared to ramp up his bad cop attitude, "that Midoriya should be allowed to stay here over a simple crush. That's the reason why you all want him to stay here, right? Because you have crushes on each other? It's not logical to let him stay here just because his heart beats a little faster around you. Besides, a boy living in a dorm house full of girls? We've discussed, Kendou, how your other classmates could interpret that. Do you really want your class body to start rumors of a boy getting to permanently stay in a house full of girls, especially since part of the reason we created the houses was so that your genders would be divided? It would make more sense to move him back to the house full of boys - besides, if it is a personal reason he wants to stay, what's to stop him from just coming over occasionally? There's no rule against one of you dating the other - so why is it so important that he actually lives here?"
The girls glared at him for a moment, trying to find an answer, while Itsuka took a small breath as she tried to think up a practical reason to counter -
"With that logic, Aizawa-sensei, what's to stop me from living here anyway?"
Aizawa blinked at that, the girls also snapping up in surprise, and everyone in the room looked over at where Izuku was sitting, leaning forward in his chair and giving his homeroom teacher a challenging look - although they saw him sweating nervously, probably from talking back to his teacher.
"What's to stop me," Izuku asked, "from packing up a bag full of my clothes and coming to live here anyway, even if I were to 'live' over at the 1A dorm house? Say I - I do start to date one of the girls - I can just - I can just share a room with them, can't I? Is there any rule preventing me from just - coming over and sleeping over every night?"
"That's -"
"He does raise a good point, Aizawa," Midnight shrugged, sitting back and pretending that Aizawa wasn't glaring at her for the interruption, "if Midoriya does start dating one of them, he'll probably still be over here all the time. Why, I can imagine that he'd probably spend his spare time over here as well - so in that case, if Midoriya's going to be here anyway, why shouldn't we just let him stay?"
"Because ..." Aizawa sighed, crossing his arms again while trying to hide his little smirk that Izuku countered him, "... my point still stands. If the school sees that -"
"No offense, sensei," Reiko interrupted, raising her hand, "and pardon my language - but we don't really give a shit about rumors."
"That right?"
"Well, I - I wouldn't exactly put it as Yanagi did, but that is correct," Ibara nodded in agreement, although she shook her head at Reiko's vulgar language, "if rumors about Midoriya living with us haven't bothered us by now - because I assume that there must already be plenty of rumors and back talking about that - then there is no chance they will be able to bother us if he stays with us permanently. And if he does stay here for - for personal reasons, we do not mind handling people teasing us - it isn't uncommon for roommates to date amongst themselves, is it?"
"But the fact is -"
"If you are saying that it would be wrong for Midoryia to date one of his roommates since he is a boy and we are girls," Itsuka narrowed her eyes, "that comes across as a bit hypocritical, doesn't it? I imagine that there are a lot of roommates currently dating right now - Yanagi is dating Komori, for example, and I know Yaoyorozu and Jirou from 1A are dating as well as living together. What's the difference between them dating and Midoriya dating one of us? Are you suggesting, Aizawa-sensei, that there's a risk of Midoriya getting one of us pregnant?"
"No," Aizawa sighed wearily, rubbing a hand over his eyes, "I am not suggesting that - I assume you people are careful, and it's not as though I'm against Midoriya dating one of you - if I had to apply the logic of roommates not being allowed to date, I'd have to go to every goddamn house on campus and force roommates to break up. That's illogical. What I'm getting at, however, is that we spent time and money building a room from the ground up for Midoriya to stay in, and now it's going to be empty - because you're probably siding with them, aren't you, Nezu."
"... I may be," Nezu admitted, smiling a bit and pretending not to notice the girls sag a bit in relief. "But in any case, Aizawa - you do bring up a good point. We did spend a lot of time and money rebuilding the room - so, in that case, Aizawa, what do you suggest we do with it, in the event that Midoriya does not return to that house?"
For a few seconds, the room fell into silence, everyone pausing to think a bit - the girls and Izuku didn't speak at all, feeling their hearts slamming in their chests as they realized that they may have a chance of having Izuku stay. While the teachers thought, Aizawa glared around at the girls, meeting their eyes to see any sign of weakness or hesitation, and finding none. Aizawa then turned to Izuku, seeing his student look up at him with only slight hesitation, but more determination in his eyes - and he let out a small huff and crossed his arms again.
"... I suppose we could always have Shinsou move into the 1A house in Midoriya's stead."
Izuku blinked at that, looking back up at his teacher as Midnight looked around with interest. "S-Shinsou? Wait, can he move into my old room? Is that allowed?"
"Well," Midnight explained while Aizawa leaned back against the wall, the teachers trying not to roll their eyes too much as this was obviously what he wanted all along, "he's been fine right now, since he's used this semester to get caught up on all the training and lessons he needed for the hero course - but now that he's going to be joining Class 1A next week for the remainder of their second semester, won't he be farther away, Aizawa? Since the general studies course houses are further down the way from the campus, and Shinsou's classroom is already farther away from 1A's."
"That's true," Vlad King finally spoke up, leaning forward, "and it would be better for Shinsou to actually live with hero course students. If he ever needed help, it would be inconvenient that he would have to walk ten minutes from where he lived to ask for help from his classmates. It'd make more sense to move him in."
"If that were the case," All Might raised an eyebrow as well, "he'd have to move in with 1A or 1B anyway - and the only two rooms that are available would be the one Young Midoriya's supposed to stay in ...
"... and the one here." Vlad King finished for him, letting out a sigh and rubbing his eyes. "So in any case, someone would have to move into the attic upstairs. And it would be stupid to make Midoriya move out and move Shinsou right in."
For a second, the teachers turned their stares to Aizawa, giving him skeptical looks as they wordlessly called him out for his stupid rational deception, but the erasing hero just ignored them, letting out a small grunt as he lifted himself off the wall he had been leaning on.
"We'll have to ask Shinsou if he's willing to move in," he grunted, "but I see the point here. If Shinsou's going to have to move either in there or here - it'd make more sense to move him into the class he's transferring to, not this one. And it'd be foolish to move Midoriya's stuff out so that we can make room for Shinsou when it's simpler to just let him stay here."
"W-wait," Izuku quickly stammered, glancing around with slight hope in his eyes, "so that means -?"
"Not yet," Nezu shook his head, almost completely dashing the students' hopes and making Itsuka nearly swallow her tongue, "because at the end of the day, the final decision should fall to Vlad King - as he is not just the teachers of the girls, but the one who would have to take on the extra responsibility of looking after you should you stay here permanently. So Vlad - the floor is yours. What would be your decision?"
The blood hero paused at that, leaning forward on the couch to think for a moment. He could feel the eyes of the girls on him as he thought over everything he had heard, mulling over the girls' arguments about having Izuku stay, and pursing his lips slightly as he tried to think of the pros and cons of having Izuku stay there - until he let out a small, defeated sigh, and looked up at his girls.
"You girls want him to stay," he grunted, "that right?"
"Yeah," Itsuka quickly nodded.
"Yes," Ibara agreed.
"Definitely," Reiko leaned back.
"A hundred percent," Setsuna gave him a small thumbs up.
"Y-yeah!" Pony nodded nervously.
"Mm." Yui nodded.
"Yep." Kinoko didn't meet her teacher's gaze.
Vlad King glanced around at them, as though silently gauging their answers, before glancing back to Izuku - and letting out a small sigh and smiling softly.
"Alright," Vlad grunted as he stood from the couch, "you guys want him to stay, that's good enough for me, then. He can stay."
"Very good!" Nezu clapped his hands together, quickly scooting off the chair and hopping down to the floor. "In that case, Aizawa, we'd best make our way over to the general course dorm houses - we must meet with Shinsou as soon as we can, as he'll only have tomorrow and the weekend off to move all his things over."
"Right," Aizawa nodded, glancing down at Izuku as he stared blankly ahead. "Midoriya, we'll be talking later about this more - probably after class Monday, but for now, that's all."
"Very good!" Midnight clapped her hands together, standing as well. "I suggest you put your things back upstairs in your room, Midoriya - we won't be having the robots set everything back up, so it'll be up to you."
"I'll speak to you soon, Young Midoriya," All Might grunted as he stood from the loveseat as well, smiling down at the frozen students, "but enjoy the rest of your break, students - and we'll see you once the second semester starts."
With everything decided, the teachers went to the front door, picked up their shoes to put on and took their umbrellas from the stand, and filed out the door. Once the door had been closed, leaving Izuku and the 1B girls to the rest of the day, Midnight opened her umbrella to step back into the rainy afternoon, and raised her eyebrow as she turned to Aizawa.
"You were planning the whole time to put Shinsou in Midoriya's room, weren't you?" She asked in a teasing tone while Aizawa went down the steps towards the robots. "You didn't seem that disappointed that the principal vetoed you."
"You can't prove anything." Aizawa smirked into his scarf.
"Eh?" All Might looked confused, staring at Aizawa. "But - why would you put up such a fight to make Midoriya -?"
"I'll explain another time, All Might," Nezu patted his leg, opening his own umbrella. "But let us just say for now that the reason rhymes with 'nepotism'."
"Nepotism?"
"He's talking about favoritism," Aizawa grumped, "and no, that's not what this was about."
"Sure, Aizawa," Vlad chuckled, "suuuuure."
Once the teachers had left through the front door, they closed it behind them with a solid click, leaving the house silent and Izuku and the girls staring blankly at it, as though they had been hit in the face by it. If they looked out the window, they could see the teachers giving new instructions to the robots, dealing with their complaints and sarcasm, and then began moving back down the path towards the school.
And for a few seconds, the room was left in silence.
"... did that ..." Setsuna wondered out loud, staring at the door in shock, "... did that really work?"
"I ... believe it did," Ibara nodded, also a bit taken aback.
They were only still for a few more moments - and then, as one, all seven girls and Izuku felt the strength leave them and sagged in their seats, slumping over in their chairs from the kitchen, the couch, or in Kinoko's case, thudding on the ground, and let out long, tired sighs. Ibara held her face with both hands, and Pony blinked slowly, while Itsuka slowly rubbed her forehead with one hand.
"Give me like ... five minutes," Setsuna shook her head, "that was the most stressful half hour of my goddamn life."
"I ... I completely agree," Ibara nodded into her hands, her voice coming out muffled.
After another minute of soft sighs and the sound of small sniffles, everyone glanced back at each other, and then back towards Izuku, who was slumped over in his own seat and rubbing his eyes.
"So ..." Setsuna seemed to rouse herself again, turning her gaze back to the ceiling while speaking in a soft voice, "... Parsley's staying."
"Yeah," Itsuka nodded slowly, "Parsley's staying."
For another few moments, they were quiet, and then Kinoko let out a quiet little laugh.
"Midori," she shook her head, "I'm in shock right now, but once I'm over that, I'm going to hug the hell out of you. Just - forewarning you."
"Um," Izuku paused at that, and then let out a small, quiet laugh, "I ... will never turn down a hug. And - and I guess everyone else is going to be hugging me too?"
"Tight enough to break your ribs," Itsuka giggled, and everyone laughed at that, shaking some of them out of their brief shock that they had convinced the teachers to let Izuku stay, unaware that Aizawa was playing mind games with them.
"Okay ... okay," Kinoko finally sighed, shaking her head and managing to crawl to her feet and gave Izuku a smile, "shock is over now. Midori, are you ready for a hug?"
"I ... yeah," Izuku nodded, smiling a bit as he opened his arms - at least, until Kinoko pretty much dived towards him, hugging him hard enough to knock him off balance and send both of them flailing towards the floor, landing with a small crash. The other girls jolted at the chair hitting the hardwood floor, staring as both Izuku and Kinoko groaned and held their heads where they landed, wincing slightly - at least, until Setsuna snorted, and everyone broke down into laughter while Kinoko pouted up at everyone for laughing at them.
"You guys are mean," she shook her head, and reached out to put a mushroom on Yui's bare foot, which of course made her jump and kick out instinctively. And then, with a mischievous grin, Kinoko turned and bopped Izuku on the nose, leaving a mushroom there before she jumped up, grinning evilly as she raised her hands and began moving her fingered around, and that was what it took for the girls to realize what she was doing and widen their eyes in horror.
"She's in mushroom attack mode!"
"Crap!"
"Reiko, control your crazy girlfriend!"
"Restrain her before she touches our boobs!"
Kinoko cackled as she ran towards the girls, hands outstretched. Izuku then bore witness to Kinoko touching whatever part of the girls she could reach and growing mushrooms, while they shrieked and laughed and tried to get out of Kinoko's grasp as mushrooms were grown on them, whether it be above Itsuka's eyebrow, Ibara's hair or Pony's horns as they grouped up on her and grabbed blankets from the couch.
It took a few minutes, but they eventually got her tied up tightly in blankets, putting her down on the couch and having Reiko sit on her while they picked off the mushrooms while shaking their heads and laughing (Yui wasn't sure if she was supposed to be disappointed that this was the first time in weeks someone touched her boobs as she picked some off), and then turned to Izuku as he sat up on the floor and picked the mushroom off his nose.
"Okay," Ibara moved to sit beside him, stretching out her arms, "time for hugs, if you do not mind."
Izuku chuckled, nodding and smiling softly at her, and then wrapped the vine girl in a tight hug, letting her rest her head on his shoulder while he stroked her back. He could feel a small wetness on his shoulder from where she pressed her eyes again, and he only hugged her a bit tighter. Once she was done with her hug, taking the time to wipe at her teary eyes, Izuku got off the floor to hug Yui and Setsuna at the same time, both girls squeezing him tightly and resting their heads in his neck, and then Pony after that, running a hand through her hair. After that was Reiko, and then bending over to hug the tied up Kinoko, letting her nuzzle into him, and then Itsuka, who made good on her promise and hugged him tight enough they heard something crack in his back, accompanied by a groan.
"Oops!"
"Oh, shit! You good, Parsley?"
"Yeah," Izuku waved good-naturedly, stretching some and surprised that he felt a bit better after that, "actually, I think that was something that needed cracking. Thanks, Itsuka."
"No problem," Itsuka rolled her shoulders, smiling widely, and then turned to the boxes, cracking her fingers. "Okay, let's get these back upstairs - and after that, I'm ordering food."
"That sounds like a good idea!" Pony nodded excitedly, and quickly grabbed one of the boxes, lifting it up with a small grunt. Soon, Itsuka, Pony, Ibara, Setsuna and Izuku had Izuku's stuff in their hands, and moved to go up the stairs with Yui while Reiko untied Kinoko from her trap in the blanket, taking a bit of pity on her due to the pout at being tied up and giving her a kiss. Once they reached the fifth floor, they all let out sighs as they put the boxes back down on the floor, Pony glancing around the blank room with a small pout.
"This feels wrong," she confessed, pouting at the walls no longer lined with All Might posters, "can we set everything back up now?"
"Um ... can it wait for a bit?" Izuku asked, rubbing his hands together and smiling sheepishly, "I'm, uh ... I haven't really eaten since last night, so I'm starving."
"Oh, right," Setsuna giggled, leaning against the blank desk and leering at Itsuka and Izuku, "you two must not have eaten much today - especially after your little ... exercise last night."
Both Itsuka and Izuku blushed at that, Itsuka pouting at her green-haired friend while she sniggered. Yui raised an eyebrow, glancing around after looking out the window.
"Speaking of that," she brought up, "how did it go, by the way?"
"Ooh, are we doing the interrogation now?" Kinoko gasped as she entered the room, hearing the end of what Yui said and hopping in excitement while Reiko followed her in. "I wanna hear!"
"I, uh -" Itsuka stuttered, going redder, but alas, it was too late to find a reason to back out now, as everyone was looking at her in interest, Yui and Setsuna sitting on Izuku's bed, Kinoko and Reiko on the desk, Pony sitting in the chair and Ibara, although she was as red as Itsuka was, also looked interested in hearing about her and Izuku's escapades last night while leaning slightly against the dresser. Itsuka tried to find an excuse to get out of this, and then, when she found none, sagged and looked over to a blushing Izuku.
"Um - do you mind if I ...?"
"Eh - um, no, no, you can. I'll just -" Izuku made a weak gesture towards the boxes while his blush turned redder and redder, deciding that now actually was a pretty good time to set everything back up, and quickly turned around to fumble with the boxes. Ignoring the giggles of the girls seeing how flustered he was, Itsuka sighed, and went to sit down on the bed too, rubbing her face.
"Okay ... what do you wanna know?"
"So are you a screamer?" Setsuna asked at once, giving her a shit eating grin.
"... fine." Itsuka shook her head, grumping. "Yes, I'm a screamer. I scream when I climax. Happy?"
"Very much," Setsuna giggled, nodding happily. "But anyway- how did it go down? Like, how did you make the moves on him?"
"Um ..." Itsuka hesitated, glancing back over at Izuku as he brought back out his sweaters to hang up, the girls able to see his burning ears even from where they were sitting, and sighed. "Well ... I was ... in the shower ..."
"Ooooooh!" Pony leaned forward with interest, blushing slightly.
"And then ... well ... I had made the offer before I got in, by the way, and - and let him think about it, and ... and he did, so after I got in ... he came in too."
"Parsley, you perv!" Setsuna teased, hearing Izuku squeak at that. "Walking in on Prez in the shower, how bold!"
"U-uh," Izuku stammered briefly, glancing around and letting the girls see his very red face. "It's - um - I -" He then sagged over, defeated. "I have nothing. Yeah. I'm a perv."
The girls laughed at that, although Setsuna made sure to send him a wink and Yui a small smirk, and then returned their attention to Itsuka. "So what happened next?"
"Well," Itsuka continued, smiling some after Izuku slightly helped alleviate the awkward air, "he - he got in with me - n-naked, of course, and then - well -" she gulped, and then she leaned forward, "and then we kissed, and - and things kind of ... escalated from there."
"'Escalated'," Izuku muttered with a small cough, putting away another sweater while blushing a bit harder, "yeah. 'Escalated'. That's … definitely what happened."
"... yeah," Itsuka blushed too, smiling awkwardly, "really, really escalated."
"Ooh," Setsuna leaned forward again, grinning with a slight blush on her cheeks, "so ... if I'm assuming right, that means things must've gotten pretty rough last night. So … how many times did you end up … you know?"
The other girls leaned in too, very interested in that answer (with Ibara going redder and redder) while Itsuka looked like a deer caught in headlights, blushing even deeper and glancing at Izuku again while he pretended not to exist, and then let out another small, defeated sigh.
"... I lost count."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"... ballpark it, then," Setsuna suggested, raising an eyebrow.
"Er ... like ..." Itsuka thought for a moment, still going very red, and then muttered, "... fifteen times?"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"... fifteen times." Yui repeated, feeling a small blush begin emerging on her own cheeks at that little tidbit.
"Yeah," Itsuka nodded, looking more humiliated than the girls had ever seen her, "fifteen times. I can remember a few of them, but - but I think most of them were from just … you know … Izuku getting me through a few of them before he … yeah."
"... how are you not dead?" Setsuna asked incredulously.
"I … really don't know," Itsuka reluctantly laughed at that.
The other girls slowly shook their heads, going a bit red at the fact that Itsuka apparently had one hell of a night, and then turned to Izuku, who was subtly shaking and looking red enough to pass out, the blood rushing to his face making his face look like he was about to go supernova.
"And you, big boy," Setsuna called to him, hearing him squeak in response, "how many times did you cum last night?"
"... um ..." Izuku gulped, trying to remember last night how many times she brought him to climax, and, feeling himself go somehow even redder, turned to the girls present, "... maybe ... five or six times?"
"Five or six times," Yui repeated, minding her own blushing cheeks at that. "So you just ... fucked her through fifteen orgasms? Is that it?"
"Um ... I think so?"
"... holy shit," Setsuna scoffed a bit, grinning a bit at the embarrassed class representative. "How sensitive are -"
"Okay! That's where I'm shutting this down!" Itsuka suddenly leapt to her feet, slapping her red cheeks and stomping over to the boxes to rip one open. "I'm going to help him unpack now. Conversation over."
"Conversation is very much not over," Kinoko sniggered, "but we'll let it go for now."
With the other girls giggling again at Itsuka's embarrassment, they were still inclined to drop it for now, and got up to help Izuku set back up his decorations. Each girl going through all five boxes to grab his stuff, they managed to get all of Izuku's collection set back up as though it never left, and his clothes folded and put in the dresser. While they worked, however, Yui continued to steal small glances at Itsuka, feeling her own cheeks go red again before shaking her head and rearranging the All Might figures on his desk.
Later, she thought to herself, ask her later.
Soon enough, everything was restored in Izuku's room, and the girls stepped back to admire their work. It was as though Izuku had never taken anything down - the mat was placed back on the floor, the All Might blankets on his bed, the figures on the table still pristine as though they just came out of the package, the window blinds set back up, and Kinoko's mushroom plushie and the Deku plush laying in the middle of his pillows, set up by the mushroom girl to make it look like the little Deku was hugging the mushroom. The other girls smiled proudly at the room, while Izuku beamed in happiness, and together, they turned back around to go downstairs to the living room.
"Okay!" Setsuna clapped her hands together, "I don't know about you guys, but I'm up for a movie marathon. You guys wanna order some food and then kick back and watch some crappy movies?"
"That sounds fine to me," Ibara nodded, glancing absently into her corridor where her and Itsuka's rooms were, "and we can also order some food, so that we ... don't ... go ..." She trailed off, however, when she looked at the wall near her door, and felt herself blink in confusion.
"Has that dent always been there?"
The girls blinked in confusion at that, and glanced at the wall to see that there was a large indent in the wall. They stared in confusion at what it was, some of them tilting their heads to see the large cracked wall, as though someone had fallen into it hard and broke it -
- and then it was suddenly clear. Raising their eyebrows, they slowly turned to look at Izuku and Itsuka, who were nonchalantly glancing away while whistling innocently, very red in the face.
"Oh, yeah," Kinoko giggled, "conversation very much not over."
With that, the girls and Izuku were more than happy to waste the afternoon away with movies, everyone brimming with happiness that Izuku really was here to stay. They were quick to order burgers, fries and soda from the nearby burger joint, and Itsuka had volunteered to jump on her bike to go get them - mostly so she could calm herself down from her flustered state from all the teasing, being sure to shoot the girls on the porch a death glare while they waved her away, shit-eating grins on their faces the whole time as she drove to get their food.
While she was off to get their food, Izuku was told, under no certain conditions, that due to the emotional durress he had put the girls through all week about him moving out, he would have to make things right by cuddling with all the girls at some point today, and since Setsuna had a large list of movies to watch, he was expected to cuddle for at least the duration of one movie with one girl. Izuku, while still being a bit unsure about their conversation that was coming up tomorrow about relationships, still found himself nodding along, smiling as the girls cheered at his willingness to cuddle, and found himself more than happy to spend an entire afternoon cuddling with the girls he liked.
Once Itsuka was back with their food, everyone took a moment to sit back in the kitchen and eat something greasy for once, with even Ibara letting out a small groan of pleasure when she took a big bite out of her veggie burger. Once they were satisfied with their late lunch, trying to suppress little burps while shooting Izuku death glares when he tried to contain his laughter, the movie marathon was officially on, Setsuna going first with her own pick, an academy award winner staring Godzillo as some giant lawyer who had to deal with a three-headed quirk criminal ("This is trash and art at the same time!").
Setsuna also used that time to take her turn and cuddle with Izuku, both of them sitting on the comfy chair with Izuku's arm wrapped around her waist, and her head resting on his shoulder, while the other girls also cuddled on the other furniture. Once that movie was over, Izuku switched spots with Reiko so that he could cuddle with Kinoko, the mushroom girl absently growing a mushroom on his arm and playing with it, and then the next movie was Pony, resting her legs on his lap, then Ibara, who took the time to wrap them both in a vine cocoon so that Izuku could feel a bit warmer, then Reiko, who almost spent the entire movie sitting down in Izuku's lap and only moved when Izuku was getting rather red faced and something poked her butt, and then Yui, who laid them both on the floor with a blanket and pillow so that she could spoon him (the other girls wondered why they didn't think to do something like that) and then, as the afternoon went away and the sun began setting -
"Hey there, stranger," Itsuka smiled down at him as Izuku managed to wobble to his knees, managing to get up and sit down beside her on the couch, "looks like it's my turn."
"Er - yeah," Izuku smiled bashfully as the girls around him moved to new cuddle partners, "I'm, uh ... I hope you're not tired of cuddling me."
"Tired of you? Never." She smiled warmly at him, and put her head down on his shoulder, closing her eyes as she wrapped her arms around him. Izuku blushed a bit, but still wrapped his own arm around her and let her slide up to him. Glancing down at what she was wearing, he cleared his throat a bit nervously.
"I, uh ... I didn't notice, but you're still wearing my sweater."
Itsuka blinked at that, and glanced down to confirm that, yes, she was still wearing his white sweater with the kanji written on the front. She raised one eyebrow, and smirked up at him as she rested her head against him again.
"And? I like it."
"O-oh. Um -" Izuku blushed again, but still shook himself slightly and wrapped her up more securely, putting his hand down on her lower back and prompting another small giggle.
"Getting awfully close to my butt there, Mr. Midoriya," she teased, and Izuku went redder.
"I, uh -"
"Ahem."
Both Izuku and Itsuka jumped a bit, shaken out of their little moment, and looked around to see the other six girls giving them judging looks, although it was combined with smirks and knowing looks.
"Sorry to interrupt your flirting," Setsuna smirked, seeing Itsuka's face turn red again, "but we're waiting to start the movie here. If you guys need the room, we can just ..."
"N-no, we're fine," Itsuka muttered, still red, and just put her head down on his shoulder while the dinosaur-loving girl shook her head.
"So this is Prez when she gets all confident," she muttered to Yui, shaking her head, "she gets all flirty and charming."
"... kinda hot." Yui muttered back, with Setsuna rolling her eyes but not disagreeing with her.
"What was that about butts, by the way?" Pony asked, looking interested.
"Uh -" Itsuka stuttered once, taken aback by the question, before she giggled and gave Izuku a teasing look, "I was just ... noticing that Izuku seemed to really like my butt yesterday. I'm kinda wondering if he's touched everyone's butt as much."
"Our butts?" Pony wondered out loud, thinking while Izuku went stiff. "Er ... actually, I think he did touch my butt a lot when we had sex."
"Yeah ... yeah!" Setsuna nodded along, her smile widening. "The boy loves my ass."
"He ... did touch mine a few times when we made love at the hotel," Ibara remembered with a small blush, "so ... perhaps ..."
"My god!" Kinoko laughed out loud, "Midori's an ass man!"
Izuku squeaked at that and threw his hand over his face, hearing the girls giggling at that reaction, before he let out a small sigh and lowered his hand, smiling guiltedly at everyone.
"Er ... um ..." he shrugged his shoulders. "I ... actually ... yeah. Yeah, I like all of your butts. They're - they're very nice butts. I - I like touching them."
"Why, thank you!" Kinoko smiled. "Glad to know that we can trust you with our backs, because apparently, that's where your eyes are gonna be anyway!"
The girls chortled at that, while Izuku grinned in embarrassment. It was with the little factoid that Izuku liked butts that the girls decided to stop the teasing and get on with the movie, turning around so they could start watching the romantic comedy. Izuku let out a small sigh as he leaned back against the couch, while Itsuka adjusted herself to lean more comfortable into him, feeling his fingers brush her ass accidentally but deciding not to call him out on it, continuing to wrap her arms around him and cuddle into his side, her eyes trailing away from the movie and across the room -
- and catching Yui just barely avoiding her gaze as she immediately looked back at the TV, making Itsuka blink for a second in confusion.
Huh ... she wondered, leaning her head against Izuku's shoulder, ... I wonder what's up with Yui. Well … I'll figure it out later. Because after the movie ...
Two hours later, once the sun had set and everyone had enough of watching movies, they all got up to stretch, Reiko using her Poltergeist quirk to throw out their wrappers from the burgers, and suppressed a yawn.
"I think ... I'm going to turn in early tonight," she sighed, glancing towards the stairs while Kinoko slid up to her, "so I'll be heading there now."
"Yeah," Setsuna also yawned, stretching her arms above her head, "I think it's time I hit the hay, too."
Izuku nodded, and glanced amongst the girls as they also stretched and got ready to head upstairs to bed. Itsuka caught his eye, smiling gently at him, and cracked her neck slightly as she walked over to him, leaning in slightly as Pony disappeared up the stairs with Ibara, talking about something they couldn't quite pick up on.
"Hey," she asked softly, glancing around, "can you come to my room for a bit? There's something I wanted to talk to you about."
"Oh. Um ..." Izuku blinked, blushing slightly, and then glanced around at the other girls as they trooped up the stairs, "I - yeah, yeah, sure."
Itsuka smiled at him, and together, they turned off the downstairs light and together, went up the stairs towards Itsuka's room - unaware on the second floor, a dark haired girl glancing at them from around the corner, and feeling her heart thudding in her chest as she took a deep breath.
On the fourth floor, Izuku and Itsuka smiled weakly at Ibara as she glanced from the indent on the wall to them, shaking her head in exasperation as she entered her room, and soon, Itsuka had opened her door, grimacing slightly, and glanced back around at him with a sheepish smile.
"Er - just so you're not alarmed," she explained, "I haven't had time to clean up after last night."
Izuku blinked at that, but once he entered the room, he knew why she had given him the prewarning, gulping as she flipped on the light.
The desk was laying on its side on the other end of the room, papers thrown everywhere, and on the wall near where her desk should have been was another indent - probably from where Izuku speed-blitzed into her and slammed her into it. Her bed was a mess, a very noticeable dark stain on the bed sheet that she removed and threw into the hamper, sighing a bit as she rubbed a hand through her orange hair, and Izuku closed the door behind them, glancing down at the couch and wincing at the stain there as well.
"Er ... wow," Izuku couldn't help but chuckle weakly, "we ... kinda made a mess."
"Yeah," she giggled, moving to the closet to grab a fresh pair of sheets, "I didn't really have time to clean up this morning - I'm probably going to have to fix this wall in addition to the one outside."
"O-oh, no, I can fix it, I - I'm the one who -"
"Izuku," she dryly interrupted him, giving him a smirk, "my body made the hole, I can fix it."
"I'm the one who slammed you into the wall, though. I should fix it."
"You should be careful about challenging me," she joked, throwing the covers down on the bed, "I take those challenges quite seriously, you know - and who knows, we might end up making more holes in the wall."
Izuku chuckled at that, although he blushed at the implications, and moved forwards as she threw the bedcover over the mattress, taking the other side and pulling to help her make the bed. As they worked on the bed, Izuku's eyes unintentionally went up to Itsuka, seeing her wearing his sweater and feeling his heart beat a bit faster in his chest - good god, she looked really cute in that, he was probably going to let her keep it, wasn't he?
As for Itsuka … she also stole a small glance at Izuku as she pulled out another bed sheet to put on. He was wearing one of his new shirts that they got at the mall, a low shirt that exposed his collar and neck where she had left her own hickeys. Itsuka let out a small gulp as she traced his neckline again, fighting down the sudden temptation to leave a few more hickeys there - oh, god, this was going to be a problem from now on, wasn't it? Now that she had gotten a taste, she wanted more.
"S-so, what was it you wanted to talk about?" Izuku finally asked, startling her out of her brief moment of ogling him as he replaced the pillowcases.
"Hm? Oh, yeah," Itsuka nodded, tucking the new top cover into the corners of the bed and looking up at Izuku, a small blush on her cheeks. "We, uh ... we didn't have much time to talk about it this morning, so I was ... I was wondering if we could talk about ... you know, last night."
"O-oh." Izuku blinked, going red again - but he understood, sighing as he walked over and sat down on the couch (the stained side, so she didn't have to sit on it), and looked up at her. "S-so ..."
"Yeah ..." Itsuka sighed, moving towards him with a blush on her own cheeks, glancing down at him again and trying hard not to make her eyes go lower. "So -"
KNOCK, KNOCK
Both Izuku and Itsuka jumped at the unexpected rapping on her door, glancing over at it as they heard someone shuffling back, as though stepping away. Itsuka wrinkled her brow, and, flashing Izuku a small, apologetic look that he nodded and smiled at, quickly strolled over to pull open the door, to see who her visitor was -
- and saw Yui shuffling there, glancing around awkwardly.
"Yui?" Itsuka raised her eyebrow, seeing Izuku glance around in interest out of the corner of her eye. "Hey, what's up?"
"Hey," Yui muttered, glancing up at her best friend. "I know Izuku's in there with you. I'm - I'm sorry if I'm interrupting something, but I was ... I was wondering if we could ... if we could talk about what I confessed to you at the museum."
Itsuka stared at her blankly for a second, not really sure what she meant - and then it came back to her.
"I'm scared that I just - that I would mess something up. That if I asked you out, you'd get weirded out, and - and say no. Or that Izuku loved you too much, and didn't want to involve me in this. And I thought ... that a part of it was because you hadn't slept with him yet. I didn't want to ruin everything by acting too early and pressuring you into something - so I wanted you to sleep with him so that you two could resolve all the - all the tension between you. And then ... and then ..."
Itsuka felt a little red when she remembered that, oh yeah, she was supposed to answer Yui's confession after sleeping with Izuku. In all the tension with Izuku last night, she had completely forgotten. She was about to apologize to Yui for completely forgetting -
- and then she glanced down, and saw the open shirt that she was wearing exposing her cleavage.
Itsuka ... for some reason, she felt her breath hitch in her throat the moment she looked at Yui's chest. Normally, she would've just brushed it off, but ... what with her remembering Yui's confession from the museum ... she felt herself go a bit red, quickly snapping her gaze back to Yui's face and seeing the light dusting of red on her cheeks ... but she still took a deep breath, nodded slightly, and moved to open the door a bit wider.
"Y-yeah, Yui," she muttered, glancing down at the floor, "come in."
Yui tried hard not to betray her own blush as well, as she stepped into her best friend's room with Izuku sitting on the couch, looking up at both of them, as Itsuka shut the door firmly behind her.
"Hm … so, just to see if I understand this correctly …" Ibara leaned back, wrinkling her brow as she looked at the TV screen, "... Heaven in this game is called 'Urdak'."
"Mm-hm!" Pony nodded in confirmation.
"So … it's not actually Heaven? Or is it?"
"Um … I think it's like …" Pony thought for a moment, leaning back against the couch. "It's … technically Heaven? It's a realm itself, but more like a -? An alien -? Honestly, I don't know, it's kinda vague."
Ibara nodded at that, and leaned back against the couch. The two girls had decided, since they weren't feeling all that tired unlike the rest of the girls, that they could stay up a bit to play more video games, and pretty much hang out and unwind from the stress of the day. They had sat in darkness, the only light being from the TV, as Pony had been more than happy to pop open a can of soda and watch as Ibara tore through more demons, until they reached near the end of the campaign, and Ibara grew intrigued by the lore.
"In any case," Ibara shrugged, narrowing her eyes at the screen, "this angel has done sinful acts that God would not abide by, making deals with devils in exchange for using the dead as fuel for her home. We have no choice but to smite her, and pray that she is given redemption in the afterlife. We're near the end of the campaign, aren't we?"
"Yep!" Pony gave her a goofy thumbs up, smiling. "We got a bit more ripping and tearing to do, then the DLC, and then we're done!"
"Well, I must say, this is quite fun!" Ibara smiled widely, bouncing a bit in her seat. "I know what I said about not playing such violent video games, but I must confess, this has been a great little thing for us to do! I've had a lot of fun!"
"It's great, right?!" Pony nodded quickly, bringing up her fists in excitement. "Maybe next, we can -"
She was about to suggest something else fun that they could play (she wanted to go with Darksiders, but that depended if Ibara wanted to play something as gory as this game), but before she could, she glanced out of the corner of her eye and saw a shape coming down the stairs one at a time.
"Hm? Who's that?" Pony blinked, and quickly moved to turn on the light, flicking it on and bringing some light into the dark room - to show Izuku, blinking slowly and looking pretty shell shocked for some reason. His clothes were a bit wrinkled, as though he had them in a ball and put them back on, and he was staring straight ahead.
"Izuku?" Pony wrinkled her brow as Ibara also turned around, wincing slightly from the unexpected light in her eyes. "Are you okay?"
"I, uh …"
"Hm?" Ibara blinked, looking at him, "What is it?"
"I ... may have …"
Pony wrinkled her brow and paused the video game, turning back around to look at Izuku in concern. "Izuku …?"
"... I just had a threesome with Itsuka and Yui."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"... huh?" Ibara squeaked.
